Bibleline Radio Show – 2006-06-29 – Rebuilding the Temple

Although there will be no signs of the rapture, there will be signs that will occur just after the rapture as signs of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. There are no signs for the rapture, but there are many signs for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ when He will set up His Kingdom on the earth. Signs are all about us that signal that the time is right for Jesus to come. Jesus, himself, told us when these things [signs] begin to come to pass to look for Him. We need to let it affect our lives!

But you’re welcome to come and we hope that you’ll join us this Sunday as we celebrate our nation’s birthday on July 2nd as we celebrate July 4th. By the way, July 11th, we’ll start classes. For five weeks we’ll do two hours per Tuesday night from 7 till 9. I’ll be teaching 1st and 2nd Thessalonians 8 incredible chapters. He is the first verse of the Christian life about the Christian life, about the rapture, about the second coming, about the revealing of the Antichrist, about things that we need to check off in our Christian life to be living as God would be pleased with us as we approach the Lord’s return while it’s such a rich teaching.

These two marvelous books, First and Second Thessalonians, if you can be in the classroom, we’d love to have you. July 11th for five weeks and if you are not in the area you can order the CD series. That’s 10 hours of teaching that will be available to you. We just finished a month or so ago. The book of Jude, the book of Romans, the book of Hebrews, each or 10 hours of teaching. That’s a total of 30 hours of Bible teaching on CD.

These were wonderful. People are raving about these sets as a great instructional tool and also a facilitator for Bible study. People, many of them, are using them to have a little Bible study and play the CDs one per week perhaps at a Bible study and have some refreshments and it’s working well for many. So 30 hours of teaching, if you get Jude and Romans and Hebrews, 10 hours of teaching on each that’s a total of 30 hours of Bible study.

If you’re just using them in your car, can you imagine 30 hours of drive time could be utilized to learn God’s Word. And of course we have many resources. I hope you’ll take a look at our online bookstore on the website, but also you can call for a resource sheet and we’ll mail it out to you and you’ll get a listing of all the things we have in our resource center here at Bible End. We’re believing that Jesus is coming again because the Bible teaches that, no doubt almost every book in the New Testament talks about Jesus returning.

And obviously to have returned he has to be back from the dead. He’s resurrected and alive and we believe coming again very soon. The next event is the Rapture and right after the Rapture we’ll be back on Jewish territory. The last seven years of the Old Testament still have to tick off the clock and Jewish Most people will rebuild their third temple. The first temple by Solomon was destroyed in BC 606 by Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon. And then the second temple which was refurbished and known as Herod’s temple, present in the time of Christ was destroyed in 8070 by the Romans.

And now a third temple is about to be erected. We’ve had Gershan Solomon here several times. He is the head of the Temple Mount faithful in Israel, and they have been cutting the stones for many many years, and things aren’t prepared. Even not his organization, but another organization has just completed the making of the high priest special robe that he wears. And so just about everything is ready now for a sacrificial system to be instituted again. I want you to turn in your Bible with me if you would to Revelation 11.

in chapter 11. I want you to think with me for just a moment. John wrote the book of Revelation around AD 96. In AD 70, 26 years earlier, the second temple was destroyed. So there was no temple when John wrote the book of Revelation. And so what we read about in Revelation 11 is future because chapter 4 says John was told that he would be shown things that would be here after that is in the future. And so when John writes about the temple, he’s writing about a third temple that has not yet been erected, but may be erected very shortly.

As soon as the rapture happens, we believe that temple will be built. Let me read it for you. Revelation 11 verse 1 says, and it was given to me a read, like unto a rod. has told us and the angel In Jerusalem. Isn’t that exciting? Isn’t that exciting? And I just believe we’re very close as a result of what we are hearing about. And that is the temple is about to be rebuilt and sacrificial. The system will be reinstituted.

Now some have imagined, well what about the two mosques that are all are on the Temple Mount platform. Do they have to be destroyed before the temple can be rebuilt? I used to say yes, but I have changed my mind because if you read Revelation 11, the second verse, Revelation 11, the second verse, it tells us that John is then told in verse 2, but the court that is without the temple leave out and measure it not for it is given under the Gentiles and the holy city they shall tread under foot forty and two months.

So apparently the area outside of the temple there and the temple mount was not to be measured because it would be used by those that are Gentiles and I believe it is probably referring here to the Muslims who have those two temples will still have their temples or their mosques during the tribulation period. Then there’s a very fascinating verse back in Ezekiel that seems to confirm that that apparently the two Arab mosques, the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock, the one is a silver domed mosque.

Look at Ezekiel chapter 42 verse 20 where it says here he measured it by the four sides. It had a wall round about 500 reads long, 500 broad to make a separation. that word separation to make a separation between the sanctuary, that’s the third temple, and the profane place, which obviously the two Muslim Arab mosques profane the temple mount and the profane place would be the area to the south of where the third temple will be built. Apparently the Third Temple will be built and a wall will separate it on four sides, 500 reads broad to make a separation between the Third Temple, the sanctuary and the profane place.

So what does it tell us that things are ready? Because the mosques don’t have to come down. All that has to happen is the Third Temple built and the wall of separation that prevents it from interacting with the profane place and that’s exactly what Revelation says, where John is told to measure the temple and the altar and them that worship therein and then not to measure the area of the temple mount just to the south, the courtyard area where the two air mosques are today.

Castating isn’t it? We are living in exciting times. You remember what we said yesterday, scientists have discovered there is a big exclamation point on the sun’s surface right now. Go to the internet and I think you can Google search it and get a picture of it. I have a beautiful picture of the sun and this huge exclamation point. It is 150,000 miles long and it looks like it just came right off a page of a book. It’s amazing that the Bible says in Luke 21, 25, there shall be signs in the sun and in the moon and in the stars while we’re seeing it happen.

Here is one more sign in the heavens, a sign right on the face of the sun, an exclamation point, 150,000 miles in length. Now not go outside and look up at the sun, you’ll hurt your eyes. Obviously with their telescopes and with filters are able to take a picture of this thing and you can take a look at it on your internet Jesus said in Luke 21 28 When these things begin They come to pass Then look up and lift up your heads because your redemption Draws nine It says, when these things begin, they have begun, my friend.

They have begun. We are getting close. I’m not a date setter, but I do believe the return of Christ is getting closer every day. I believe these are times when if you have unsaved family and everybody usually has somebody in their family that doesn’t know Jesus as their Savior, you need to get them saved. Or when the rapture happens, they’ll be left behind. The chances are that they will not trust the Lord during the tribulation period. As Satan will cause great spiritual darkness to come upon the face of the earth.

We need to reach as many people as we can. That’s why Bibleline is pushing out as much as we can. Thanks to you who pray for and give to Bibleline, we’ve been able to do what we’ve been able to do thus far, but we’d like to do even more, but it requires your help. And maybe you’d like to consider being a Bibleline partner and praying for us and maybe financially helping us to expand this message out. We are in the last days, Jesus is coming again.

And we believe very soon, we pray that you’ve trusted Jesus as your Savior. You know, the message of salvation is very simple. We’re all sinners. The whole human race is headed for hell. There is no church that can save you. There is no work that you could do that would save you. There is no way that you could buy or gain eternal life. Or there is no way you could pay for it except you’d have to go to hell if you paid for your sin.

We need a Savior and the Bible teaches that Jesus Christ is that Savior, God Himself who came and took on you in flesh and He died on the cross of Calvary to pay for your sins of mind when you trust Him as the one who died for your sins and by His definition blood paid for the sinful was buried in rose again from the God gives you as a gift, the gift of everlasting life. I’m Dr. Englinschroom, this is Bible and we’re going to go to the phones and take calls right now and if you have a question or comment you can call us at 1-800-576-3771 that’s 1-800-576-3771.

We’re going to go to George down in Palm Beach Gardens and George you’re on the line. Good morning. How are you? Good. They back a little ways. Somebody asked about the age of accountability and I think they found it in Numbers 14, 29. Carcuses shall fall in this wilderness and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number from 20 years old and upward, which have murmured against me from thinking, well, I think that I think that 20 is kind of old.

I think we become accountable to trust the Lord at a very young age. And I believe the answer, George, that I have discovered over the years is in the last verse of the book of Jonah. Jonah was about to be destroyed and God spared it. And God tells Jonah at the end of the book that in the city of Nineveh, which was a huge city over a million population, that there were 120,000 children that did not know they’re left hand from their right hand and so apparently I think that’s when a child become accountable when they can tell their left hand from their right hand.

I do know some adults that can’t even do that so maybe they’re not accountable but in any case children once they become and that allows for the differences in development some will develop more quickly some will become accountable earlier than others and there will be some who mentally will never become accountable and will never be responsible and will be ushered straight into heaven but we do know children under that age of accountability will go straight into heaven should they die and I believe the answer is for the going to heaven or for salvation is when they can tell the left and from the right.

Back there at Exodus obviously he was separating the new generation that would come along from the older generation that was rebellious and was going to die in the wilderness. And so those younger than 20 would actually enter in the Promised Land. It’s a good point you make, but I really believe the answer is children that are on your age. Do you think that at that particular time he wanted to leave?

Children if you will who were old enough to carry on well those Well those, you see, they would be much older. When you go through the 40 years of wondering in the wilderness while older generation died off, then those that were 20 and under would be, if they were 20, they’d be 60 by the time God actually led them into the promised land. So they would be older adults at that time. And by the way, the statistics prove out that 85% He said, I’m going to say that you’re going to be able to get saved when you’re 18 or younger.

And you know, wherever I’ve preached, I always like to try this out as an experiment, and I usually ask the audience, how many of you in this church were saved when you were 18 or younger? And sure enough, the majority of the hands go up and you can just about 10 on 85% of the people there will say they got saved when you were 18 or younger. That’s obviously below the twenty. I got saved when I was eighteen, and I fully was aware of what I was doing, and I recognized the gospel being the truth when I heard it for the first time, even though I’d been raised in church, I’d never heard how to be saved until I went to that Bible study and that night I trusted Christ, and I knew when I walked out of there that I was going to heaven when

I died. We had youngsters in our church up north that were like 12 years old and I was rather skeptical until I heard that testimony. Well, there you go. See, I really believe that they can get saved. And many, my wife tells me that she got saved at six sitting on the lap of her mother, as her mother explained to her the gospel. So I hear testimonies like that all the time too, where children pretty young understand and trust the Lord of Savior at our fully aware that they did.

I have a speaking of children which in this day and age they seem to come before the marriage. But when did the actual, I know Jesus changed the water into wine at a marriage ceremony, but when did the actual ceremony come about? Where do we get this? You know in the Old Testament it says well he went into the tent and he took his wife You know which is kind of a euphemism I suppose but the first marriage is Genesis chapter 2 where Adam Eve were made one in the marriage that God performed there for them and they were to You know to cleave one to another and be one family for the rest of their life That’s that’s where the first marriage took place and after that obviously Obviously you find that they don’t mention a ceremony per se.

Well obviously that in a sense was a ceremony. God performed that marriage without him and even after that. Obviously you can read through the books of Moses and it talks about a marriage contract and obviously many times the parents would arrange that in advance and then they would get married. on the island of Cyprus, where they still practice that. Where the mom and dad make a contract with another family who has a child that is about the same age, it could be the spouse of their child, and they make up a contract, and I was asking our guide, what if they don’t show up for the marriage?

And I said, then they get the shotgun out. So they basically, it’s enforced. I mean, they have to do according to that contract. So those were done, of course, here in the West we have obviously dating and these things probably weren’t practiced very much in biblical times, but these marriages were often as pre-arranged. And there was a contract and oftentimes even money was exchanged, what we call a dowry and so on. And that made it a binding legal event.

basically you see that with jacob as he uh… had to enter into a contract with the father-in-law he labored seven years to marry rachel course the father-in-law was a scoundrel any substituted leah uh… in the marriage ceremony because they were a war of a l he didn’t realize until after the marriage ceremony was over that he had the wrong girl when he lifted that mail he got mad and he was he he was uh… not too happy What were the idea of the veil coming in?

I guess so. George, thank you for calling. Okay, you’re welcome. All right. That was George. And interesting customs. I don’t know if people would want to go back to that, but the parents usually arranged the marriages. We have Adam in Tampa. Adam, welcome to Bible Eye. Good morning, Bauchteri. Good morning. I had a question. I was going through my skill field Bible, and I was comparing with my NIV. And my question is in chapter 20 of Matthew, telling the parable of the workers, paid equally.

Yes. In the very last verse in the NIV of that parable is 16. The verse will be the first and the first will be lost. Yes. If you read that in your Scofield Bible, it doesn’t end there. Could you explain the rest of what it says right there? Well, you know, the… That’s Matthew chapter 22. No, chapter 20 verse 16. Verse 16. Okay, yeah, verse, let’s see here. I have chapter 22. Verse 20, chapter 20, verse 16. Alright, here we go.

Matthew, are we in the same book here? What book? Yes Matthew chapter 20. Oh chapter twenty sixteenth right okay I was in chapter 22 I don’t know why did that why verse 16 says the last shall be first and the first last for many be called but few are chosen. The few are chosen that part isn’t in my NIV. Well The NIV drops 44 verses in their entirety. So don’t be surprised. The NIV, I believe, is a terrible translation and has thousands of other omissions, which obviously is unfortunate.

And really, what is amazing to me is that Jehovah’s Witness New World Translation has the same 44 verses that they drop. And it’s almost like these people got in contact with each other and they pretty much followed. The Bible. NIV is not a good Bible. And we have a book that exposes that called New Age Bible Versions. It exposes about 20 of the new ones as to what is going on with them. And also we have a quiz here called the NIV quiz that we send up for free if you just ask us.

And it is a quiz if you try to take it answering the questions with the NIV you’ll get a zero. because then the verses are in the NIV so you can’t possibly get a correct answer. It’s a real IOPET, it’s a real wake up call for people who have NIV. We’re going to break, we’ll be right back, don’t go away. Don’t go away, Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. I’m Dr.

But right now with the radio we have 10,300 people that listened in a month of May to the Bibleline radio show on the internet.

Now I believe many of those will probably want to watch our Bible on television programs and we expect a huge audience to develop little watch our TV programs. Pray for us and maybe you’d like to be a partner with us as we try to reach out with a clear message from God’s Word to those that are out there searching for the truth that they would find Bible on. And many of them tell me we’re so thankful we found your program.

It’s really some fascinating stuff. We would love to have you in the class. If not, if you’re living in other cities around America, you can order the CD series and get the 10 hours of teaching on First and Second Passolones beginning July 11th, right here at the church that I pastor Calvary Community Church.

We are excited about the Lord’s return. We believe he’s getting close. Truly what we’re seeing in Gaza, in the Middle East with Iran, with Iraq, with what’s happening with North Korea, with what’s happening with China, Russia, the nations of the world. We believe we’re getting close to when Jesus will return. It’s like reading tomorrow’s newspaper today when you read your Bible and then as you see the headlines develop, you can usually say, I knew that would happen because the Bible already had told me so.

Wow. And the Bible is a marvelous book. The B.I.B.L.E., yes, that’s the book for me. And as a believer, that is truly where we ought to be. is all about the Bible. God said in Psalm 138 verse 2 that God exalted His Word even above His name. We believe that God is blessing Bible and because we exalt His word, we try to quote it as often as we can, we try to refer to it as often as we can, we try to point people to the Bible, we call our program Bibleline on purpose because it’s all about the the Bible.

God is exalted above His name, Psalm 138 verse 2. The Word of God is living in powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, dividing a center between the soul and the spirit, and the joints and the moral and the discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart, Hebrews 4, 12. While the Word of God, an incredible book, Peter tells us the Word of God live of it and abided forever. It will be around long after the planet Earth has passed away.

Jesus said in Matthew 24, 35, heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall never pass away. We are excited to know how about you. We believe all of our partners should be excited because whatever this ministry is accomplishing, you are going to share in the fruit of it because As Paul said to the Footpin Believers in Plippings 417, not that I desire a gift, but I desire fruit that may abound to your account. We could really do your help because we have really put ourselves out now to do the video streaming of our program 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

I know this is going to be a blessing to you that are listening. If you have internet access with so many people in our country that they have, you’ll be able to watch our Bibleline television programs as well as listen to our Bibleline radio programs on the internet 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You might have friends in another country, in another state, in another city, in another place, and if they have internet access, they’ll be able to listen to Bibleline or watch the the Bible and television programs.

Exciting stuff. Pray for us. If you’d like to send a gift, you can. Our operators will tell you where to send it. Call it at 800 number and ask. And it’ll also be able to supply you with an envelope with our address already on it. Or you can give a gift by credit card over the phone. We have Adam been waiting patiently. And we’re going to go to Adam and Adam. Welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. with the Matthew 2016.

Okay. My question at the end of the verse 16, it says, many called and few chosen. I understand that the NIV has verses that they’ve taken out 44 verses. And then I was looking in my N-A-S-D Bible and… and also that is taken out in there, and I believe it’s only in the King James version. Well, you know the reason why? Let me just… Let me back up for a minute and explain why. In England, in the 1800s, There was a committee of men that got together 15 men and they wrote their own Greek text, which is called the critical text.

And they called the critical text because they criticized the Bible and went to some information from some manuscripts that were recently discovered at that time, including the Sinaiticus and the Vaticanus. And they wrote a Greek text that eliminated all these verses. And the English translation that came out of that was called the English Standard Version. This was an advertising ploy to hopefully make an English version that would become standard, replacing the King James Version. And that was published in 1885.

In ten years it went off the market because nobody wanted it. Maybe that was God saying, no, no, no. Then an American group took that same translation, the English Standard Version, and they made in the American version and they called it the American Standard Version. Just changing the English version to American version, they didn’t do much different, but they also had the same flaws and there were attempts in there to do away with the deed of Christ and this critical text is a mess and that’s the problem.

Then that Bible ran out of copyright and a guy in California decided that he would make the American Standard Version new and he called it the new American Standard Version. And so it also has all the same flaws that the English standard version and the American standard version had. And then guess what? The NIV comes along and it also is coming out of that critical text which is a man-made Greek text is not going to the manuscripts we find in the raw that have come down to us through time.

But this is the problem. And so they all are related. These are all related. get the book we have it’ll really expose the the the the lineage of some of these Bibles and you can say well This one is bad and the one preceding it was bad and the one before that was bad and the one before that was bad Because it all came from this committee of 15 men that really basically rewrote the Bible So that’s the problem and and that’s what you’re facing there So it’s not like the King James versus all these others It’s the seems like every publisher wants to have their own version because they can have a copyright on that and make money on it Obviously, the King James, anybody can publish.

The exclusive rights are gone. Anybody can publish the King James. You can publish it. I can publish it. Any Bible is from any copy, right? Anybody can publish. They’re coming up with new ones all the time. Every publisher has their own. If you notice carefully, whatever new translation is out there, it has a different publisher behind it. That’s because they want an exclusive Bible that they can promote and make money off of. They don’t really care about whether you know the truth or not or whether it’s God’s word or not.

And they’re not afraid apparently of the violations that God warns about in the Bible about adding or subtracting from the Bible. These people that have done this are in deep trouble. Okay, well, can we… All right, between them, you know, that’s something that author research maybe get the book that you’re talking about. But if we can shift gears to the truth of the matter, the reason why I came across this and the reason why I even have this question it because i’m trying to grasp what he is actually saying the movie he’s a third of our many about many is called if you’re chosen What he’s saying there is through it and I understood what he was saying all the way through, but then when I came to that I was kind of like, whoa, what is that?

Well what he’s saying is that he invites everybody to be saved, but he only chooses to say those that believe. So, John 3 16 says it, for God’s soul of the world, that’s the entire human race, all of mankind. And God sent Christ to die for that whole human race that whosoever, in other words, the ones that would believe in the world, that they would be saved. in christ they would not perish but they’d have eternal life but the ones that would not believe would perish and not have eternal life so god invites everybody the who’s whoever is to everyone so many are called or invited but only the ones that believer chosen and and then also talking about the standard and then about that it would out but in the context of this of this parable he was talking about how he goes and and the people came at different times but

he gave them the same amount of money so I’m trying to just apply that to the parable. I don’t know, it’s kind of stumped me. Well he’s talking there also about the first will be last and the last will be first. And what is occurring there is that the church age which began at Pentecost which was last because it came after Israel will be the first to be judged and received the rewards in the So we’re going to get our rewards and our resurrection bodies at the Rapture and then seven years we’ll tick off the clock which are the last seven years of the Old Testament and those that were first the Old Testament saints are going to get their rewards and their resurrection bodies last seven years after we get ours at the Rapture.

Okay? So that’s really what’s going on. Thank you Adam. It seems like you’re getting into it deep and that’s great. Yes I am. Thank you very much. And it’s good to ask questions because that’s the way you learn and Adam is digging in. We’re going to go to John in Seminole, Florida. John, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Hi, Dr. Hank. This is my name is John. I recently purchased your Revelation series and it is literally light years away and it’s teaching and I just want to commend you on that.

I think one of the strongest comments you make at the beginning of the thing is that Satan has done a fantastic job in making Christians believe, and even churches believe that it’s just too confusing and too hard to understand. So again, they don’t even try, but I highly, highly recommend this theory to anybody that’s listening. The other thing I want to say is that while you were going on your retreat with the kids last week, there was an article that came out in the paper that talked about a new company with the technology that allows you to debit your bank account with a fingerprint scan and i guess i’m uh…

just what is your opinion on that being part of uh… the market of the state using your hand because the finger is part of your hand well absolutely i think all these things are playing together the technology today is going to probably blend the eye scan of the fingerprint scan and And also, of course, these are proceeding the actual mark, but they might even be a confirmation of the person they might require one or two or just several to.

Like today, sometimes they want two pieces of an education when you go someplace. And so there might be a cross check to make sure you’re really the person they are looking for. So I don’t know. We’ll have to wait and see how it plays out, but I certainly believe it’s all a part of the in-time technology that will allow the enterprise to control everybody’s buying and selling and obviously the government is becoming more and more intrusive and more in control and it’s interesting.

It’s embarrassing sometimes. I’ve had a credit card dead on the point of sale and I was embarrassed. I said, what happened? They take your card from you. The power is there to shut you down at the point of sale. And if you obviously have overdrawn your credit limit or something like that, you’re dead in the water. But it’s amazing because the technology is there that right there you’re at the register, you’re trying to buy something and your car doesn’t work.

That’s right. That’s right. One last question. At the Rapture, when we are pulled out, well, for those seven years, will we know what is happening on i doubt it the believers i doubt it i think that we’re going to be busy at the just said christ and uh… be being concerned about uh… How God is evaluating our works for reward. And I will come back. I think it would be to bring sorrow to heaven, but we will come back with Christ and obviously.

At the end of the seven years. Yeah, we’ll come back and we’ll watch Christ take over the earth. It’s going to be spectacular. And we get to the space travel. Can you imagine coming back reentering the earth’s atmosphere without a rock in a spaceship? I get goosebumps thinking about it. It’s just exciting stuff. And we’ll actually be following Jesus leading away and he will overthrow the nations of this world instead of his kingdom and rule over the earth as king and we are going to be a part of the whole thing.

It is going to be exciting. Wow. Alright, thank you. Thank you for everything. You are welcome John and John recommended my set on Revelation that series of 12 hours of teaching, so many Bible studies have used that and people tell me all the time that they learn more from that series and with all the books they have on Revelation they bought. And I’m flattered, but I go verse by verse and you might want to get that set on Revelation or Daniel or some of the other prophetic books that we have.

I believe all of them will be a real blessing to you. We have Robin and Robin is down in Bradenton Florida. Robin welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Good morning. Let me turn down my radio. All right. Okay, I would like to ask what you believe about the issue of being once saved, always saved, and reference to Matthew 7 verse 21. And I wonder if you could talk on that page. Sure. There it talks about not everyone will enter into the kingdom of heaven but those that do the will of my Father which is in heaven.

And you have to, as you rightly divide the word of truth, recognize that God’s will for salvation is not the same as his will for the one who is saved and that we should live for him after we become saved. The answer is really a great way to go over in John chapter 6 where Jesus, and you might want to write this down and put it in the margin next to Matthew 7, 21, but in John chapter 6, Jesus says in verse 40, he says, and this is the will of him that sent me.

this is the will of Father, the one that sent Christ was the Father, that everyone we see at the Son, which means in the Greek to acknowledge the Son, or recognize who Jesus is, that He is the Messiah, that He’s God and flesh, He is the Savior, and believe it that Him may have everlasting life, and I’ll raise Him up at the last day. So the will of God to be saved is to believe or trust on Christ as Savior.

Then after you become saved, God’s will is for you to live for Him, and He’ll reward you and bless you for your faithfulness and obedience. But many people read that verse and they say the will of God and then they list all the things that are God’s will for the believer after you’re saved as a condition for salvation and that’s not of course what it’s saying at all. So the will of God is for salvation that you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.

And then the next two verses in Matthew 7 talk about people that didn’t do the will of God because they They say, Lord, Lord, didn’t we preach in your name and heal in your name and do wonderful works? Well, those are Christian life events. And they didn’t mention the death of the bareland blood of Christ. And Christ said to them, I never knew you. Not I once knew you and I lost you. He said, I never knew you. So they were lost because the will of the Father is that you trust Christ to be saved.

And they were attempting to work their way to heaven. They were boasting in three areas of preaching in the name of Christ, in healing in the name of Christ and doing wonderful works in the name of Christ. Christ said, I’m sorry, that’s the wrong answer. You don’t get into heaven by doing that. You have to acknowledge who I am and trust me as your Savior. That’s the will of the Father and then you’ll have eternal life and I’ll raise you up at the last day.

He says to this group because they were bragging about their works and what they were doing, I never knew you. Not I wasn’t the one sitting on a lost you. This is talking about people that are trying to work their way to heaven. If you read the chapter, the context is how to detect false prophets who mislead people and get them to think that they can work their way to heaven as opposed to trusting Christ as the one who died and purchased that salvation by His death and shed blood.

Verse 15 talks about here’s how you recognize false prophets. They come in sheep’s clothing. They look like believers. But they’re inwardly raving wolves. They’re really deceitful wolves. And I was thinking that story about Little Red Riding Hood. The wolf fooled her by disguising himself as grandmother. I remember how she said, things don’t look quite right here. Like, mine, what big ears you have, grandmother. And he said, all better to hear you with my dear. And it was a pure deception.

And obviously it has a good ending. Finally, the woodsman come and cut so for grandmother and the story is real nice. But the story here is real about how Satan. He is the deceiver and through his false prophets he deceives people into thinking that by their works and their good deeds are going to make heaven. And people will boast about that and they’ll say, well I did this and I did that and I’m a church member and why I’ve taught Sunday school and they think somehow that’s going to get them into heaven when only the blood of Christ can wash away your sin and only by trusting him.

So John 640 is a great verse. This is the will of him that sent me that whosoever seeeth or acknowledgeeth who Christ is and believeth in him may have been in heaven. may have everlasting life and I’ll raise him up again to the last day. That is the answer. That is God’s will for you to do to be saved. Then after you become saved I’ve made a second choice a year later where I realize now that I’m saved he wants me to live for him and I chose to live for him about a year after I believed on him.

But I was saved by faith alone in trusting in the finished work of Christ at Calvary and then of course I chose and I’m so glad I did to live my life for Christ since I was 19 because of I said Lord if you love me enough to die for me at least I can do is live for you and I’m so glad I made that second choice. So then the Bible does say that no one can take you out of the hand of the Father so once someone trusts in Jesus then you’re stuck.

You have to know what now my question my next question is what happens when someone turns the back and Jesus and willfully walks away from him where do you stand on the issue of one’s, saved always saved. Okay, that’s when you get spanked. Hebrews chapter 12 tells us in verse 6, for whom the Lord loves, he disciplines, or the word in the King James is chastened, every son whom he receives. So when you receive them, God’s family, about a new birth, then God is going to discipline you when you’re delinquent.

Verse eight says, and this is the one you need to mark down, Hebrews 12 eight, if you be without discipline or chastisement, where of all his children, his sons are partakers, then it says you are a bastard and not a son. What it is saying is that you are illegitimately claiming to be a Christian if you could get away with living as you please, returning your back home God or walking away and not have God interfere in your life.

God is going to do things in your life to get your attention and he might, if you totally resist his attempts to do that, he might even take you home to heaven early. And there’s example after example in the New Testament, in 1 Corinthians chapter 10, it tells us there in one place that 23,000 Christians were taken home to have an early and one day, just one day. So God can snatch you out of here. He’s, you know, up in heaven, if you’re going to be delinquent, he’s going to say, come on home.

I’m taking you out of here. You know, when I disobeyed as a child in my parents’ home, my dad never said, son, We are not going to let you back in this house. We are bolting the door. You are on your own. Goodbye. My dad would open the door wide and say, son, come into the house. Get into your bedroom. Lay down over your bed. And he would give me a warm reception. My dad never kicked me out. Nor does our Heavenly Father ever kick us out.

But he will invite us home to heaven early if we are not going to be listening or he might have us bend over and give us a stanking. He will chase in every believer that enters his family. I hear this time and time again. I leave a lot of people with Christ. And new believers, especially in the first six minutes, usually tell me, wow, things were going smooth in my life until I trusted Christ. And I say, that’s an evidence you’re saved.

Absolutely he does chase him. Absolutely. God is going to start messing with your life once you get saved because he loves you and he wants you to live a life that he can bless. And he’s going to turn you around or he’s going to take you home. So you’re believing that someone who simply says the center’s prayer, they trust in Christ momentarily and they’re… If they truly trust Christ, they’re saved forever and can’t be lost. But they can lose their…

Even if they don’t want Christ. Absolutely. And they can lose their rewards, they can lose their testimony, they can lose their effectiveness, They can lose their joy. There’s a lot of things they can lose, but they can’t lose their salvation. They can lose their life. The Lord might take them home, but they won’t lose their salvation if they are genuine to say. But I think a lot of people don’t hear a correct message and they’re like the ones in Matthew 7 and they wind up standing before Jesus and pleading their case based upon the fact that they went to church or preached in the name of Christ and did wonderful works in the name of Christ.

And the Christ said, that’s the wrong answer. You’re not saved. or knew you at all because you needed to trust in my death and shed blood as the means of your salvation and your bragging about your works which is exactly what the Bible says salvation is not of works that they mentioned both are brag. I hope that helps. And I’ve got a wonderful CD that you need to get. It’s called How Permanent is Your Salvation. If you go on my website, you can listen to it in the archive section.

And people usually get this as a witnessing tool. Generally, if a person hears that CD, we have found the success rate of people getting saved after hearing it is phenomenal. We had a fellow in our church that gave one to a friend. He’s a truck driver driving his 18-wheeler coming back across the United States. He was somewhere in the middle of Texas. He reached over to change stations because the station he was listening to was fading. He hit the wrong button.

He had already had this CD in there and it started to play. He listened to it. He got saved. He called on the cell phone to my friend and said, I just got saved. Let me tell you the story. He told how he listened to that CD and it was like God had this button to change the station and actually turned on the CD player. And then my friend drove over here to tell me that exciting story. And it was a wonderful story.

We hear that all the time. We really hear so many people get saved through hearing that CD. And it’ll really go over the fundamentals with you to help you be able to answer these very questions you just brought up. I do have one more question. I’m gonna do seven, just first 21 alone. Not that we get to heaven by work because it is by the shed blood of Jesus. But it says clearly here, not everyone who says to me, Lord Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven but only he who does the will of my father who is in heaven.

So if someone says, hey that was a big mistake, I’m walking away from the Lord to want anything to do with him, why do you believe that God is going to let him into heaven? He’s going to say the decision not to follow Christ. Right well we’re out of time and I hate to do this to you but hold on.
