Bibleline Radio Show – 2006-07-20 – Final Hours?

We are excited about the times in which we are living in, we are watching prophecy fulfilled before our very eyes. There are many hints in the Bible that we can actually know when it is closed. And you notice over in Hebrews chapter 10 in verse 25, it tells us not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together as the manner of some is, but exhorting one another or encouraging one another and so much the more and look at this phrase in Hebrews 1025 as you see the day approaching as you see the day approaching.

So obviously you can actually see things that give us an indication that the return of Christ is approaching it’s getting closer and by the way there are signs for the end of the church age which tell us that that’s when Jesus will come for us at the Rapture and there are signs for the end of the age for Israel which give us a clue as the when Christ will come at the Second Coming. Now there are only seven years apart but these are two distinct different events.

The Rapture is when Christ comes by Himself, no angels. He comes by himself, shouts, and the believers are caught up to meet the Lord in the air. But then seven years later Christ doesn’t come back by himself. He comes back with all his angels, in all his glory, and he brings back all of his saints with him as we will come back with Christ to rule and reign on this earth. So they are distinctly different events, and I have a listing of about twenty different things that contrast the rapture with the second coming.

Many people just lump it all together and they get it all mixed up and you really have a lot of confusion if you do that. There are distinct differences between the two comings. But as we approach the end of what we call the church age, this age is called the church age or it’s called the dispensation of race, that phrase is used in Ephesians 3-2 where this age that began at Pentecost and ends at the rapture is a distinct age all to itself And those believers during that time period from Pentecost to La Rapture are called the body of Christ, they are called the Church, which by the way did not exist in the Old Testament.

The Church began at Pentecost. You cannot join the Church. You have to be placed into the Church by the Holy Spirit. And that happens at the moment you believe. 1 Corinthians 12, 13 says by one Spirit, are we all baptized into one body? Louis V. Jew or Greek or Bond are free and have all been made to drink into one’s spirit. The operation of the baptism of the Holy Spirit is the placing of the believer into the body of Christ.

Verse 27 of 1 Corinthians 12 goes on to tell us, Now you are the body of Christ and members in particular. Well, the reason why you are members of the bodies because the Holy Spirit is taking you if you are a believer, and by the operation of the Holy Spirit, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, he has placed you into the body of Christ. Therefore, God sees every believer in Christ, and therefore everything that happened to Christ happened to you as far as God is concerned, when Christ was crucified, you were crucified, because he sees you in Christ’s body.

When Christ was buried, you were buried, because he sees you in Christ’s body. When Christ rose up from the dead, he saw you rising up from the dead because he saw you in the body of Christ. When Christ ascended into heaven, he saw you ascended into heaven because he sees you in Christ’s body. And when Jesus was seated in heaven, you were also seated with him in heavenly places. You know it says that in Ephesians 2 that we have been seated together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus because we are seen by God in the body of Christ.

Therefore, basically salvation is a done deal. It is something that is seen as already accomplished and as Christ was crucified, you were crucified as He was buried, you were buried as He rose from the dead, you rose from the dead as He ascended, you ascended as He was seated in heaven. So were you seated in Christ in heaven as well. What a beautiful doctrine that is And it obviously tells us that our salvation cannot be undone because a part of the body of Christ would have to be severed if that were to happen.

In other words, if you were to be lost, somebody would have to cut off a part of the body of Christ. You are members in particular. You are the body of Christ. According to the Bible, at the moment you trust Christ, it therefore becomes impossible for a person who becomes saved to be lost. But in any case, there are signs, I believe, for the Rapture. For a long time I really just followed the standard teaching that there are no signs for the Rapture.

But there are signs, because the Bible tells us that when they shall say, first the soil means five, when that is the unsaved world says peace and safety. As they talk about peace and security in this world, in a troublesome time which we’re living in right now. The Bible says, then, sudden destruction will come upon them as travail upon a woman with child, and they shall not escape. Talking about the tribulation period, it’s going to sweep over the world and it will catch them off guard as a thief in the night.

But it says to the believer, you are not in darkness that they should overtake you as a thief. Great verse to write down, by the way, 1 Thessalonians 5, 4. We are not in darkness. We should not be surprised by the Lord’s return because we can see things that indicate we are at the end of the age and Christ is about ready to come back. If you were to come back this year, and I don’t know what year he is coming, but he certainly could come this year, it probably most likely would be on the Feast of Trumpets, which is this year, Rosh Hashanah, it’s September 22nd, and it means we are just about two months out from when the Lord will come.

Now, please listen carefully. I did not say Jesus is coming this year. I don’t want to be misquoted. I’m not a date-setter. But I am saying that there are signs and there are things you can look for and obviously the Bible hints that whatever your Christ will come back, it’ll probably be on the Feast of Trumpets. So get ready. It could be that in just a little over 60 days we’ll be out of here. But if he doesn’t come this year, we’ll be looking for him to come next year.

One thing is for certain Christ is coming. The testimony of the Scripture. Scripture is such that throughout the Bible it tells us that Christ is going to come again and there are two comings of Christ presented in the Bible, two comings of Christ predicted in the Old Testament and Christ has already come once and we believe as soon coming again. I’m Dr. Englundstrom, this is Bible and I hope you are a believer. If you are saved and if you should be living when the Lord comes back you will be caught up in the Rapture to beat the Lord in the ear and be given your new body.

If you’re an unbeliever, you’re going to be left behind and the chances that you’ll get saved are slim because the Antichrist Satan will blind the minds of those which do not believe and many will just be swept into an eternity without Christ because they’ll probably won’t find the truth in those dark hours of human history. So glad you’ve tuned in today. We’re going to go to the phone lines. We’ll try to answer all fair questions. We have a bunch of those.

I’m Dr. Englund from Mrs. Bible and the phone number is 1-800-576-3771. We’re going to Tony in Daytona Beach, Florida and Tony. Welcome to Bibleline Good morning, Dr. Hank. Good morning. I have a question about the BIA and I understand about the eight, the eight courses of service. Of course, of eight. I understand that. My question is what reference are you using what point of the counting? Where does that start at? It starts if you leave Exodus chapter 12 it says this shall be the first month of the year unto you when they came out of Egypt and we know they came out when they had offered up the Passover lamb.

They offered up the lamb, they put the blood on the door post, the angel of the Lord came through at midnight, killed the firstborn and all the families that had not applied the blood. The next morning they were on their way. They were moving out and they crossed of course the Red Sea into the wilderness and finally into the Promised Land. So we know that’s in the spring and so that’s probably somewhere between March and April. It slides back and forth with the lunar month that the Jewish people use and so if you count from about March 21st or so somewhere in there that would be the beginning of the first of the two week courses and the age course would probably put us to the last two weeks of July.

Oh, okay, because I saw in the concordance that they had two, I guess, one civil calendar and then they had it. When they went into the Babylonian captivity, they began to follow the new year beginning with Rosh Hashanah. And it’s kind of interesting because obviously when Jesus comes back, that will probably start another new year for everybody because everything will be counted from when he comes back and he comes back for us at the rapture and i think seven years later the second coming it’ll be seven years later so it’ll also be probably on russia chana so price will come back and that’ll be the new year which are already starting their count of new year from that date so they’re all set to go for the second coming okay so david david yeah because i went back into uh…

first chronicles uh… i guess chapter twenty four yes where where he uh… divided the twenty four well you’re on the right track and uh… and obviously uh… you can keep working on it but that the uh… the real year the religious year was when they came out of the unit that’s in the spring the time of the pass over all-kite that the reference point i can use that’s it all-kite and that line up actually with the uh… civil calendar but thank you alright thank you sir that was tony in day to be prepared to be able to hear us over there in uh…

from st augustin down to tynessville all the way back across uh… the station is an indelian florida but reaching all the back to our lando we’re now going to go to ryan in st pittsburgh and ryan welcome to my mind you’re on the air uh… i just want to uh… call and talk about uh… Recently Adrian Rogers had passed away and the other day I had heard him say the gospel and also service the Christian life the be a disciple and also a man-made doctrine which is to ask Jesus into your heart and I’m thinking myself well the Lord probably took him home because he’s not preaching the gospel alone maybe he was saved.

And you just, you know, as they say, you cannot live as you please. You have to preach the gospel and that’s just one instance. Well, a lot of creatures I think have fallen into that trap of inviting Christ in your heart. And it just really isn’t scriptural. I was a victim of that in the church I was raised in where we were told every Sunday to invite Christ into our heart. I was raised, of course, in a church where you could lose it and Christ could leave and come back and leave and come back.

I did a lot of inviting Christ in my heart, but the key is, of course, that you have to trust Christ and I’m glad that you’re alert to that and we need to be when we present Christ to make sure that people understand that there’s only one thing to do and that is to trust that Jesus Christ died and paid for all of your sins. So Ryan, I understand what you’re saying and it’s really hard anymore to find a good, clear, crisp, solid message where they don’t mix up some of these modern phrases and invitations that are manmade that are not biblical right the gospel of the death the burial you know you have to name them all they’re just that they’re out there everywhere i know that’s true another thing i i got a email just a few days back Dr.

Hank Lindstrom from Gershon Falman in the Temple Mount Facel movement and he put on there that I know it’s a i know he’s not safe He is a Jewish guy, but he doesn’t believe Jesus is going to fire, but he said that right now that the battle of Magog and that’s going on right now. well he obviously right The Battle of Gaga Magaga is still future and it will happen at the end of the tribulation period. But he’s obviously wrong on that.

Not only him, but then I heard another guy on radio say yesterday that the Battle of Magaga is a thousand year reign of Christ on Earth. And that’s the last battle right before. Right. Well there are two battles with that same name and that causes confusion as well. The battle in Ezekiel 38 when Russia comes and figures off Armageddon is called the battle of God and may God and then at the end of the millennium when Satan is loosed And he rounds up unbelievers and comes against Jerusalem and against Christ That is also called the battle of God and may God so that causes confusion because there are two battles with the same name okay, all right Ryan will thank you not for calling in today and and I share your frustration over trying to hear a real good, crisp, clear message.

We’re going now to Kevin in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Welcome to Bibleline You’re On The Year. Hello, Dr. Hank. I just put women in the pulpit. It’s sort of developed as a heated discussion now that a lot of them are offended when you tell them that they are not supposed to be the leaders in the church and some of them are saying that they were called by God to preach. I want to get you up and speck it on that.

I remember a story told where some farmer saw cloud formation and then he saw the letters see a and he interpreted that mean call to preach and so Somebody after they heard him preach a few times said maybe that really meant called to plow and But basically women are out of order because the Bible says in in Timothy first Timothy chapter 2 verses 11 through 15 that women are not to teach God’s Word and Nor are they you serve authority over the man if God intended for women to do that He could have picked six apostles as men and six as women or…

The early deacons could have of them in women, but he chose all men. And throughout the Old Testament as well, it was the men who were the spiritual leaders of the home. Abraham was the leader. And even in the New Testament, when it alludes to leadership in the home, the man is the head. And Peter talks about in 1 Peter chapter 3 about how that Abraham was the spiritual head of that home. When Mary and Joseph, when baby, when Jesus was still a baby and Herod was going to kill that baby The Lord spoke to Joseph and said Joseph take thy wife and the baby and flee down to Egypt until the death of Herod And so he didn’t approach Mary and say Mary Tell Joseph and to follow you as you take your baby down to Egypt.

He led the family With guiding the man Joseph not Mary So it’s kind of shocking to some people because I know in some circles they think Mary was the kingpin, but Joseph was the head of that family and God led the family through the man, through Joseph, and that’s the rule throughout the Bible. So it says basically they are in first Corinthians 15, excuse me, 1434 says let your women keep silence in the churches, for it’s not permitted in them to speak.

So that would just really put a muffle on everything that’s going on today, wouldn’t it? I know they don’t like to hear it, but it’s a part of the end times and I think it’s another sign of the apostasy in the departure from the Bible. Basically, people are saying, I’m going to do whatever I want to do. If you read Ezekiel 44, there was a time, rather Jeremiah 44, when women took spiritual leadership and Jeremiah was preaching and it tells us here about the women had gone off doctrinally and it says here that all the women that stood by, I’m reading from Jeremiah 44 or 15, all the women that stood by a great multitude, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt and Patris answered Jeremiah saying, as for the word that that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the

Lord, we will not harken unto you. Basically the women said, we’re not going to listen to what you have to say. It says here as for the word that thou hast spoken unto in the name of Jehovah or Yahweh, we aren’t going to listen to you. You’re a micro-jumping lake. And effectively we have women today that say, I’m not going to listen to the Bible. I’m going to do what I feel called to do or what I want to do.

They are not obeying Scripture and we are living in the same kind of time that Jeremiah was faced with where the women took spiritual charge and everything got turned upside down. So I think that they are wrong and the Bible is pretty clear and obviously they are ignoring the Scriptures and saying, does not matter what the Bible says. I am going to do what I want to do and if you don’t like it, you can just jump in a lake like they told Jeremiah.

All these women, a great multitude said, Jeremiah, we are not going to listen to what you have to say. out of here, get out of our face, we’re going to do what we want to do. Right. Okay. So you had something you have to deal with in this time and I think that it’s a part of the in time signs when women take over the leadership of the church. So you shouldn’t become a member of their church even if they preach sound doctrine.

I wouldn’t sit under a woman teaching the Bible, no. Okay. All right then, thank you, Dr. Hank. And another good reason is because they’re more likely to go into doctrinal error. that’s what it teaches there in 1 Timothy 2, that Eve was deceived, but Adam was not deceived. So women have a tendency because women think more emotionally than men do. There’s nothing deficient about women, but men have their flat sides as well. But in the area of men and women, men think more factually.

Women think more emotionally. And you’ll notice all the cults or many of the cults were started by women. Mary Baker, Eddie, just couldn’t imagine a God that would send in your men to hell. she said there is no such thing as hell. And she couldn’t imagine a penalty for sin, so she said there is no such thing as sin. And so she winds up denying things and leads a whole group called the Christian Scientists into great error. We find Ellen Z.

White, who founded the Seventh Adventist. She obviously has misled those people in so many areas where they are doctrinally unsound and they don’t believe in hell. Same thing, women don’t like to believe in hell. I don’t like to believe in hell, but it’s a fact and I’m going to preach it because the Bible teaches it. So we cannot just write off hell because we don’t like it or don’t agree with it. If God said it, then we have to believe it.

It’s just that simple. Hopefully we just might wake up to the fact that we’re living in a time that God spoke about where women would usurp the authority over men. Thank you for calling from Fort Lauderdale. For the time just rolls on by we’ve got all of our lines lit up and I’m so sorry that we’re gonna go to break right now. I hate to take another caller and not be able to get you up right now. So we’ll try to We do have quite a few questions that our author would like to explain.

I know one comes in from Romans 11. And this gentleman is worried about can you lose your salvation? Somebody said that you could lose it on that basis. And they’re talking about Israel having lost their position and God turns to the Gentiles because of their understanding. because of their unbelief, but then tells us Gentiles that if we don’t get it together, he’ll take it away from us and go back to the Jews. It’s talking about corporately, it’s not talking about an individual losing their salvation, but the Jewish people, because they rejected Christ, God turned to us Gentiles who were His witnesses, but now because we Gentiles are failing in this church age as we come to the end of it, with things like we just spoke about, God is now going to wrap stress out and go back to the Jews and they’ll be his witnesses again.

We’re going to go to break and we’ll come back into Bible and Part 2, so don’t go away. It’s exciting here on Bible and then you don’t want to miss it. I’ll be right back. Don’t go away. Bible and will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. I’m Dr. Anglin Sherman. This is Bible and we’re hoping you’re enjoying this week. All right, we’re through that break, and this is Bible and Dr. Lindstrom. We’re coming to you live from Tampa, Florida, and we look forward to being with you every day, Monday through Friday as we come out of our studios in the Calvary Community Church, while I’m the pastor.

If you ever are near in the area, please come by and see us. Just knock on the door and visit our resource center every day till about 4.30 in the afternoon. On a Sunday you can come by for the 10.30 morning worship or the Sunday evening 6 p.m. worship. And of course we always open the Word of God and teach from the Bible in our pulpit. And I’d love to have you come and visit with us. Maybe you live in another state, you’re coming to Florida for vacation or you’re coming on business.

Many people drop in when they come here to Florida and we just are delighted to meet these folks who come really from all over the country. We’ve had people here from Detroit. We were on the air in several places in Michigan, people coming from up in that area and from other parts of the country. And visiting with us and that’s exciting and we hope that maybe you’ll visit with us someday and join us. If you’d like to help by the line, you can certainly be of great help here in the summer months.

and help us to make sure that we can keep these programs going and pay all those bills. I don’t get paid. Now what is our staff? And we really use all of the funds that come in to pay all the different expenses that we have. And it costs a lot to pay for the radio time and all the other things. It’s more expensive than you might possibly realize. And it shocks people when they hear some of the expenses and how much it costs.

But we want you to know that the money is going to get this gospel out. We believe Christ is coming soon. It might be only 60 days away, a day away, and Christ will come back on the Feast of Trumpets this year. But I want to make sure that you understand that I didn’t say today that I’m not saying Christ will come this year, but He could. And if He does the most reasonable date, we’ll be the Feast of Trumpets, which this year would be September 22nd.

And that means we’ve got just a little over two months and we’re going to be out of here. We live that way here at Bible and we believe that we ought to take advantage of the time in which we are living in and sense that urgency and do all that we can. We stretch ourselves out in order that we might get that message out to as many as we possibly can. We are going to answer some of the offer questions.

Some people are very confused. I know John in Upstate New York calls in and says what will happen to Christians that are in debt at the time of the Rapture. Well, you can rejoice, John, because your debts, you won’t have to worry about them because you’ll be out of here. They won’t be able to click on you in heaven. And you’re leaving everything by it anyway. whatever assets you had, who cares. So Christians are going to be eliminating older debt when they go out of the rapture.

But don’t run out and run up all your credit cards and then hope the rapture happens this year. But if you are a person in debt, when the rapture happens, you can just forget all your debt. It’ll be gone. Hopefully that makes you feel better. Bill had bumping a beach and called in about that passage in Romans 11 and certainly no passage in the Bible tells us you can lose your salvation. There’s talking about corporately that God had not taken away salvation from the Jews, but the Jews had rejected Christ and therefore he turned to the Gentiles and because we now Now see the Church failing in our evangelism.

We are taking this thing of salvation too lightly and not preaching it to the world like we need to. God is about ready to take us out now and replace us with the Jews being His witnesses. 144,000 in the tribulation that will be God’s evangelist are all Jewish men and they are all birds and men and they are no females. So it’s three things about the hundred-four thousand that eliminates most people that would like to be one of these in that group is that they’re Jewish and they’re men and they’re virgin men.

All right, we have Paul calling in from Seminole, Florida. Paul, I know this question has been up for a couple of days and we haven’t had time to get to it, but he’s asking about 1 Corinthians 1529 and it’s a verse that the way it reads in the King James leads to some confusion, but it talks about what should they do which have been baptized for the dead. That’s usually the question. But the answer is in the second half, if the dead rise not at all.

In other words, he’s talking about people that were baptized as a testimony of their faith in Jesus Christ that were now dead. They were wasting their time getting saved and being a testimony for Christ if there is no resurrection. If that may be the case, then they will not rise from the dead and their faith in Christ is vain as it says earlier in the chapter and so on. This is not talking about, as the Mormons do, practicing vicariously baptisms for relatives that are already dead or for other people that are already dead.

That is total nonsense, but it’s talking about why preach the gospel, why get more people saved, the people who had died before us who had believed and were water baptized as a testimony of their faith didn’t rise from the dead if there’s no resurrection from the dead. Nancy in St. Petersburg calls in and he says, she says, you endorse the King James Version. What if you want to use the King James Version, but the Bible you or the church you go to is not use the King James version but uses the new American standard.

Well, are they going to kick you out if you use the King James? I don’t think so. But the new American standard has certainly got flaws in it and it doesn’t improve on the King James. As we said, it comes off the man-made critical text that came out in the 1800s by a group of fifteen men who wrote their own Greek text. You can see the omissions. We have a track that we could probably send you if you ask for the 2000 omissions that are in these Bibles that came off of that text.

It’s shocking. How many times the blood is eliminated? other key phrases which are, you know, the Bible is a book of the blood. And there’s a systematic attempt, I believe, to do away with the blood of Christ. The new hymnals are coming out and they eliminate most of the hymns that deal with the blood of Christ. And I just love to sing those hymns about how what can wash away your sin, answer nothing but the blood. I think we need to sing those more often because obviously Revelation 1 and 5 tells us that Jesus loved us and washed us from our sins in his own blood.

All right, we have Joyce again in Charlottesville, North, rather New York, and she says, what sin is it that leads to death? Well, the unpardonable sin is unbelief, Joyce, and that sin is in John 3, 18. He to believeth on Christ is not condemned, but he to believeth not is condemned already Because because because because it says he hath not believed in the name and the only be out and son of God. So unbelief is the unpardonable sin and leads to death.

John 3 36 the same thing it says that if you believe in Christ you have everlasting life but if you believe not you will not see life but the wrath of God will abide on you. So the sin that leads a person to eternal death is the sin of unbelief. In Revelation 21, it says here, I will show you the bride and show them the New Jerusalem. And obviously the bride, the bride of Christ will live in the New Jerusalem and I think that’s probably what it is referring to.

It says here in verse 9, there came into me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the last seven plagues and talked with me saying, come hither and I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife. And he carried me away in the spirit to a great high mountain and showed me that great city, the Holy City, the Holy Jerusalem descending out of heaven from God. And not only the bride will be in that city, but also the believers of all the ages.

And that’s after the thousand year rate of price. And that’s into eternity. that the bride lives in the New Jerusalem. If I were going to take you to meet a friend, and I would walk you over to their house, obviously it’s not the house that I’m introducing you to. I’m introducing you to the person who lives in that house. And the bride lives in the New Jerusalem. That’s what we’re talking about. Othe Air, Jonathan, Senior and Junior call in asking this question, what is hell like?

Revelation chapter 20 says it’s a place of torment day and night. It’s a place of everlasting fire Matthew 2541. It’s a place of separation. 2 Thessalonians chapter 1 verses 8 and 9. Chapter 14 of Revelation 9 and 10. It tells us it’s a place of torment and a place where the torment will be seen by the smoke of their torment going up forever and ever. A place where there’s no rest day or night. Revelation 14 has some good ones in it.

It also talks in the book of Matthew numerous times about there’s weeping and gnashing of teeth. So people in hell will weep. They’ll cry. and also they’ll gnash their teeth. You know, if you ever in real pain, you’ll notice you’ll grit your teeth together, and people in pain in hell will gnash their teeth in pain and cry and shed tears in hell. In heaven, the opposite is true. The Bible says there’ll be no tears. God will wipe away all tears from our eyes.

Those are a few, and I hope that helps for Jonathan Sr. and senior in Jonathan Jr. listening in. Off the road in Florida calls in, says what about dreams and the things we see in them. Well, a lot of times during your sleep, your subconscious mind is trying to resolve conflicts you have in your wakened time. And it could be that you’re dealing with things that are stressing you out in the daytime. I would just be very careful that you don’t let your dreams necessarily guide your life, but sometimes it’s a symptom that you’ve got some stress and problems in your life that you’re trying to get resolved in your sleep.

And sometimes you do get them resolved. You might see a clear way out of your situation by paying attention, but be careful because obviously God wants to guide us through His Word. All right, Rose in Tampa, Florida calls in and says, is the Antichrist the same as the Beast? Yes. Satan has a Trinity. Satan is the Antichrist of God. The Beast is the Antichrist, the Antichrist of Christ. And the false prophet is the Antichrist of the Holy Spirit. And so absolutely Rose, the Antichrist is the same as the Beast you read about in the book of Revelation.

He said you asked, or rather you talked about 2000 years is almost up, do you have an idea when the state would be? Any time now, because again you have to know exactly when to start counting that. And when you convert to biblical prophetic years they’re a little bit shorter than the 365 and a quarter day years that we use. And so it’s a little bit iffy. But no doubt, we’re about there, aren’t”;. I think the time is ripe for Christ to come back and it would come at any time.

Off the air, Lloyd Elijah in New York City calls in and he says, do you believe the Antichrist will come during war? And of course, the Antichrist will come as a peacemaker at the beginning of the tribulation period. So absolutely he may come in and resolve conflict and maybe what’s happening right now in the Middle East will give an opportunity for somebody to be a hero and resolve the problem and be looked upon as a savior and the Antichrist will probably come in writing on that white horse which is a picture of bringing peace on earth good wool toward men when he really is one who will bring more war and tribulation to the earth.

Fred in Auburndale, Florida calls in and says Robert Campin writes a book on the Rapture and now the church will go through the first part of the tribulation and he is wrong. The church will not go through any part of the tribulation, but seven years of tribulation are all dealing with Israel. It’s on Jewish ground. the last seven years of the Old Testament. The church age ends at the rapture and we’re out of here. I want to welcome listeners in Cincinnati, Ohio on W…

I lost some of the call letters here, but WWVX I believe, 1050 on the dial in Cincinnati, Ohio. One of the new stations also we’re on and I think it’s Lexington, Kentucky, another new station for Bible and so welcome to Bibleline give us a call. We’d love to hear from you know that you’re listening. Let’s go back to some of the live call or some of the been waiting very patiently. We have Jack in Tampa, Florida. Jack, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air.

Hello. The church I go to has women. There are all great people, and there’s nothing wrong with them, they don’t treat you the way to heaven, they all agree. My comment or if you could, they’re reasoning since it’s their own choice and they cite the Baptist. Then the other as far as the women being the elders and the economists are deacons. Deaconessus is the two women that were, I think, Paul referred to. And that’s how they justify it. Well, you know, I know that they can wiggle around on these things.

And of course, Paul was talking about women that were servants, so where Deacon means a servant, means a table waiter. But the position of being a Deacon is clearly outlined in 1st Timothy chapter 3 and Titus chapter 1, and obviously there’s no allowance there for women to be Deacons, But they were in a sense serving in a servants. Everybody is a table waiter and everybody ought to be a servant of Christ and so women and men alike should serve Jesus and Live for him, but the position of leadership within the church is a different ballgame And I think that that’s what we’re talking about there and obviously if you’re going to be a a mason or a shriner, you have to ask yourself, are you compromising your belief in the Bible?

Because the God of both of those can be Allah or can be Jehovah, it can be any God in the world. Because that G that they have on their little rings and on their tie clips and everything else can stand for any God. and it’s not exclusive of the God of the Bible, nor are those groups telling us that salvation is only through the blood of Jesus, but basically they are attempting to be saved by their work. So, if they believe in their life during the week that you’re saved by works, and then you go to church on Sunday and say, well, we believe that you’re saved by faith, they’re certainly being inconsistent.

And if they’re, believe it the same way, then they’re obviously compromising by the Bible says that we are not to be unequally yoked with people or organizations or those who deny the doctrines of the Bible and salvation by faith. So once you become a member of these other organizations that deny the truth, then you are going to be compromising your faith. I think that somehow they need to get off the tightrope and choose who is the side you are on back in the Old Testament.

Moses said, who are you going to serve? the line and draw it in the sand and all those who are on the Lord’s side come over here and the ones that aren’t get on the other side. And Joshua the same way said, you know, who’s going to be one who will be faithful to the Lord? And it’s your choice. And to choose you to stay who you shall serve. Elijah gave the challenge when they were the prophets of Baal and he said, you know, who is the true living God?

And he brought fire down as he prayed that God brought fire down upon the altar and they discovered that the true living God was clearly more powerful than Baal and they killed all the prophets of Baal. They got rid of them and Elijah obviously restored true worship back to Israel as a result. I don’t know what to say. People have to make their own choices. I know that I don’t want to compromise what I believe by giving credibility to those who teach opposite of what the Bible teaches by being a member of it.

Okay. All right. And how would you have me find another church because I’m comfortable where I’m at. I get the key word. I’m comfortable. I like the people. And I’ve also raised this issue before and then me, me. You’ve met me before. You’ve met a couple of times and me, me. I’m kind of emotional. I’ll say, my nephew says it’s best. You can tickle him with a feather or hit him with a sledgehammer. I’ll tickle you for a second if I get no response I’ll bring out the sledgehammer.

That’s kind of my reputation. So, yeah, you know. All I can say is that, you know, I mean, there’s wonderful people in every organization. But the Bible teaches that we have to think of Stan on God’s Word. So you have to say, you know, am I going to walk according to the scriptures or not? And that’s the key. So you have to ask yourself, am I compromising myself? If you read verses like Ephesians 5, 14, it says, 5, 11, rather, it says, have no fellowship but yet in proof of works of darkness.

Romans 16 verse 17 says, mark those which have doctrines contrary to the Bible and avoid them. Second Corinthians chapter 6 says, don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers or those who don’t hold to the truth of God’s Word. Revelation chapter 18 verse 4 says, come out from among them and be separate. Second John verse 11 says, if you bid them Godspeed, you become a partaker of their evil deeds. And so do a good Bible study and say, do you stand for God in His Word or do you stand in the middle of the road and say, we like each other and we’re just going to get along even though we aren’t on the same path here.

I think you have to just walk according to the Bible. I know that sometimes that means sometimes we separate from people that we like. But we just have to, and I think when you do, you are a great witness for Christ because they begin to say, wow, maybe he’s got a point there. Because, you know, he’s in love, you just have to march according to the drumbeat that Christ drums out. We don’t want to march according to the world because there’s a lot of nice people in the world But they may not be marching according to the Bible Right, okay Well, thank you for your time and hopefully I can come in and see you again up set in on your show for a few times And I recommend everybody do it because it’s time to sing and I’ve been to your services and It’s worth the time and

I just thank you for your time. Okay. Thank you, Jack. Yeah, you’re welcome to come sit in while we do a a radio program. A lot of people are surprised. They think that we have a huge staff of people here answering questions or helping me answer them. Actually, it’s two operators and my Bible and me. And that’s it. And we don’t have any, most of us is in my head from the many, many years of study and we don’t have any, we don’t have time really to go do any looking up unless we have a question we can’t answer and we can look it up and get back to you on another day.

We have Sherry in Tampa, Florida and I think Sherry was there but I don’t see her now. Let’s see if she’s still there. Sherry is there. Hello. Hello. Who do I have now? What is your name? I was looking. Well you have got the radio program and so we’ll let our operators take you and pick up that call online for and then I’m going to go to let’s see here we have Cheris I guess on are you on the line?

There we go I got you? Okay what is your question today? Okay my question is kind of off the wall but I asked other people of God before having got really understand it. It’s kind of weird okay? Alright. Whoop. And somehow I think we got that cold cut off. And I don’t know what happened there. Well I’m so sorry. You’ll have to call back and we’ll try to get it up again. So we don’t like when we lose a call like that.

We have John in Braden in Florida and he calls in Othear and says, can Satan still talk to God like in the book of Job. Satan, I’m sure, has conversation. It says in Revelation 12, 9 that he is the accuser of the believers. So yeah, I think he can talk to God and probably is hollering and screaming about things he doesn’t like about us who are believers because we are his enemies. Robert in Bradenton, Florida calls in. He says, explain warmer cold in the church that Revelation talks about.

In Revelation chapter 3, it talks about the church at later to see which is a picture of the in-time church. It’s actually the church period that we’re living in right now, prophetically. And it’s neither hot, it’s neither cold. It’s kind of like down the middle of the road a compromising church. One that doesn’t take a real stand for Christ and yet it’s not totally spiritually cold and that’s the way most churches are today. The Bible says that it makes Christ nauseous.

He says, I want to vomit. I want to throw up because I’d rather that you were hot or I’d rather have that you be cold. But this being lukewarm and riding the middle of the road and being a compromising church, irritated Christ. He They didn’t say they would lose their salvation. But basically he said he would take away their lampstand or their right for them to be a witness for Christ. And of course we’re going to be concluded by just being raptured out.

And then God will go and give the opportunity to proclaim Christ to the Jewish people. I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom. I hope you’ve trusted Jesus as your Savior. You haven’t. You can just tell the Lord right now, Lord I’m a sinner. I don’t understand much about the Bible, but I believe Jesus Christ died for me, paid for my sin debt and full at the cross by his death and shed blood was buried and rose again from the dead. And the moment you do, God will save you.

I hope that you have done that. And the moment you do, you’re saved forever. Then make that second decision to serve the Lord and live for him.
