How much time do we have left until Jesus Christ returns from heaven to take us out at the Rapture? Although, we cannot know the exact date of His return, the signs are so abundant about us that we know that we must be near.

We have still a number of off-air questions and we’ll take those as well as the live questions that come in. Well it’s interesting that blood is one of the key things that tie the whole Bible together. Blood in the Bible is associated both with the first coming and the second coming of Christ. When Jesus Christ came the first time, John the Baptist said to him, Behold the Lamb of God which takeeth away the sin of the world. That’s John 1.29.
As the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ laid down His life for us on the cross of Calvary. There on the cross, as a sacrificial lamb, His blood was shed for the sins of the human race. He tells us in Hebrews 922, neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood, he entered once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. That’s Hebrews 922. The Apostle Peter tells us in 1 Peter 1, 18 through 19, for as much as you know, that you were not redeemed with corruptible things as silver and gold from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
Blood blood is associated with the first coming of Jesus Christ on the earth. The hymn writer wrote, What Can Wash Away My Sin? The answer is nothing but the blood. Nothing but the blood. Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Nothing we have done in the past or will do in the future and bring about our salvation. According to the scriptures, salvation is based upon What, not upon what we have done, but upon what God did for us at the cross of Calvary.
Jesus alone secured our salvation by His death for us on the cross. It tells us in Galatians 1-4 that He gave Himself for our sins that He might deliver us from this present evil world. Salvation is done. On the cross Christ said it’s finished. He was accomplished by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and offered to us as God’s free gift. Praise the Lord. Blood, blood, blood is also associated with the Second Coming of Christ. When he will physically crush all the unsaved, every drop of blood will be squeezed out of the bodies of the unsaved.
Jesus will come according to the Bible as King of Kings and Lord of Lords and he will accomplish five things mentioned in Revelation 19, 11 through 16. He will judge the earth, verse 11. He will make war, verse 11. He will smite the nations, verse 15. He will rule the nations, verse 15. And then it says, He treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. Verse 15, that’s Revelation 19. Grapes in the olden days would be tossed into a wine press, and then a person or persons would stomp on the grapes with their feet until the grape juice was pressed out.
The wine press in Revelation 19, 15 is the wine press of God’s wrath. The grapes are the people that are unsaved. The harvesters are the angels. Jesus himself will tread upon the grapes, people and blood will flow out of the winepress. Let me read to you from Revelation 14. It’s not a pretty picture, but in Revelation 14 when Christ comes back it says, and another angel came out of the temple crying with a loud voice to him that sat upon a cloud, thrust in thicycle and reap.
For the time has come for thee to reap. For the harvest of the earth is ripe. Revelation 14 verse 15. and thy sharp sickle, gathered the clusters of the vine of the earth for her grapes are fully ripe, and the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth and gathered the vine of the earth and casted into the great winepress of the wrath of God, and the winepress was trodden withoutTHISITY, and BROOD came out of the winepress, even unto the horses bridle by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs, Revelation 14, 1920.
A river of blood is going to flow 200 miles long according to this passage. It will be deep enough to reach the horse’s bridle. Human blood can you imagine a river of blood? Well, there are about six quarts of blood in the average adult body. How many people would have to be crushed to form a river of blood, two hundred miles long, as deep as the horses’ bridles. Apparently Jesus Christ will crush millions upon millions upon millions of unsafe people when he comes and he will form a river of blood as a result.
In the hymn that we so often sing in love, the battle hymn of the Republic, the words describe this bloody event. He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath unsaved people are stored. He has loosed the fateful lightning of his terrible swift sword. Judgment is the theme of the Second Him and coming Him. Did you know that that hymn is about the Second Coming of Christ? Jesus Christ as the judge will crush and trample the unsaved.
Well, you know the Old Testament tells us about the same event. Isaiah the prophet describes the same incident in Isaiah 63, 1 through 6, asking about Jesus Christ garments, Isaiah 63, 2 says, Wherefore, and this is prophetically speaking of Christ, wherefore art thou ran in nine apparel, and thy garments are like him that treadeth in the wine fat. And Jesus answers in verses 3 through 6, I have trodden the wine press alone, and of the people that was none with me, for I will tread them in my anger and trample them in my fury, and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my garments for the day of vengeance is in my heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.”
So when Christ comes back, He’s going to sprinkle His garments with blood as it splashes up on Him as He tramples the bodies of the unsaved. Revelation says he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood. It’s referring not to the blood he shed at Calvary, but he’s referring to the blood of the unsaved millions that will be crushed by Jesus Christ as coming. Did you realize that if you do not accept the blood of Jesus that was shed for you at Calvary, then your blood will be shed by Jesus at the second coming, and he’ll crush the blood out of everybody living when he comes back at the second coming seven years after the rapture and form this river?
I did some calculations once. I know two dimensions of the river. It’s 200 miles long. It’s as deep as the horse’s bridle. But I didn’t know the width of the river, so I calculated based upon six quarts of blood, the volume of six quarts of blood, to figure out how many people would have to be killed to form a river 200 miles long as deep as the horse’s bridle, one foot wide, two foot wide, three foot wide, four foot wide, five foot wide.
And my friend, the answer is billions. billions. I really believe billions, billions will be slain at the Second Coming. Only those that become believers during the seven years of tribulation after the Rapture will enter into the thousand-year Millennial Kingdom of peace on earth good will toward men. So those that are left behind will be crushed. And then the birds of prey are invited to come and eat the dead bodies. That’s right. The Bible talks about a supper called the Supper of the Great God and in Revelation chapter 19 verses 17 through 18 immediately after following the incident where he describes there the crushing of the bodies in the winepress of the wrath of God.
It says, I saw an angel standing in the sun and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of the heaven, come and gather yourselves together under the supper of the great God. What’s on the menu? Well, it says, you may eat the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses, and of them that sit upon them, the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great, Revelation 19, 7 through 18.
the Bible. The Bible talks about the second coming, that the slain of the Lord will be many and the bodies will be eaten by vultures and animals of prey. This certainly ought to motivate us as believers to win the lost. If your family or friends are left behind in the tribulation period and they don’t get saved, they’re not seven years, the angels will round them up, take them to the Middle East, to do the valid D’Hausophad, where The Bible describes this winepress of the wrath of Almighty God will take place.
In Christ when He comes back, will stomp on their bodies and kill them. Every drop of blood in their body will be pressed out and formed this river 200 miles long as deep as the horse is strung. Think about that hymn again when you sing it. He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored. He has loose the faithful lightning of his terrible Swiss sword. This is the judgment theme of this second coming hymn, Jesus Christ, as the judge of the earth will crush and trample all the unsaid.
There are numerous passages throughout the Old Testament and the described as event, but notice blood is in view both times. Christ shed his blood that so one so that none of us would have to have our blood shed. So when you trust in the shed but of Christ, then you’re forgiven. You could be sure of going to heaven. But if you don’t trust Christ by the time He comes back at the end of the tribulation period, then He will crush the blood out of your body.
And millions, perhaps billions will be slain at that event. I’m Dr. Englinschruam. This is Bibleline. And we’re going to take callers and all the air questions in just a minute. We certainly thank you for tuning in today. And the phone number, by the way, if you want to call in, is 1-800-576-3771. We’re going right now to Chesterfield, Virginia, and welcome to Bibleline. Hi, Pastor. How are you? Good. I know that you’re talking quite a bit about revelation in a all-year television program last night.
and you touched on the subject of the two witnesses in the tribulation time. And I have been studying this also and I just want to bring up a point. I agree with you totally about Elijah being one of the witnesses. Yes. But in my way of thinking, what I’ve been, I guess, learning out of this is I believe the other witness would be Enoch. I was wondering. What you’re taking that would be because he also was raptured out or taken up.
Yes, right. Well a lot of people have made that determination based upon that. But if you read the context of Revelation 11, the one prophet prays it and it doesn’t rain. That was what Elijah did. The other one smites the waters and turns them to blood and also smites yours with the plagues, which Moses was the one who did that. Also, since we believe the tribulation period is the last seven years of of the old testament dispensation of law that Enoch was not a part of that dispensation, but Moses was.
Also when we see Jesus coming in all of his glory as he was transfigured in Matthew 17 on the Mount of Transfiguration, who stood with Jesus there, but Moses and Elijah. And also we know that there is the question about Moses’ body. In Jude verse 9 it tells us that apparently Satan called foul play about the body of Moses being preserved, apparently for him to come back. And he had a dispute with Michael and Michael there is not bringing a railing accusation against him but simply said the Lord rebugly.
But we don’t know what happened to Moses’ body although he died. Apparently God has preserved that body for him to come back. a major point we can disagree on this and it won’t affect much at all but I really believe that since the one works the plagues in terms of water to blood Moses did that the other one shuts up the heavens plus the fact that Enoch was a picture of the rapture but he lived prior to the flood whereas Moses was the one who began the dispensation of law and then Elijah was one of the great prophets during the dispensation of law and we believe according to Daniel there were 70 weeks of years of prophecy that would fulfill all prophecy and those 69 of them were completed 69 and 7 is 483 years from the commandment of the rebuild Jerusalem until Christ would die on the cross and it turned out exactly to the day and then the clock
stopped ticking as God turned to us Gentiles for the past 2000 years and once the rapture happens the last seven years will tick off the clock which we believe are the completion of the Old Testament age of law and Moses obviously I think is the rightful person to be put in that spot. Good point and yeah it is hard yeah because then I’m wondering well what happened to Enoch why did God preserve him because he’s still in his mortal body in heaven wouldn’t he be?
I mean I just well probably so but I think it was a picture of the rapture early on, that before the judgment of the flood, Enoch was caught out of a picture of us, the church, being caught out prior to the judgment of the tribulation period. No one is family in the ark, where a picture of the Jewish people surviving the tribulation period. Then Noah was told to multiply and replenish the earth. once the crisis returned then those that are saved will be the ones that will multiply and replenish the earth during the Millennial Kingdom.
I believe there’s a beautiful picture there of exactly what we see coming but and I think Lot was also a picture of that as he was delivered out of Salah before God rain down judgment and I think we believers are gonna be snatched out at the rapture before God rains down judgment on the certain intubulation period. And it looks like it’s coming very soon, doesn’t it? Yeah. The picture is everything is just unfolding just as scripture says. Well, Gail, it was a good discussion.
There are some things that are major that we really have to really fight for, and this is more minor, and it really wouldn’t matter to me who was there. there but I think I think that there’s enough scripture though it seems to indicate that I think my view is Moses and Elijah we’re gonna find out one day and when we get there we’ll sit down and have a discussion. There you go. Well I certainly do respect you Pastor Hank you hit most of it in my opinion right on the nail you’re very active and I appreciate that so much because we have so much deception out there right now.
Oh, I know. And you really have to be careful and be discerning. Well, we’re glad that you’re able to hear us up here in Chesterfield and pass the word along. Yes, sir. And keep sticking with the word. Oh, I will. Oh, I will. I will. Thank you. Okay, God bless. Okay. That was Gail in Chesterfield, Virginia. Somebody told me that the station up there was starting our program late and ending it early. I’d like to get some of you to call after the program and let us know if that’s true.
We can’t really monitor every station and we want to make sure that we’re getting what we are. Good morning Hank. Hey, how are you? I’m going fine. I was listening to the radio the other day. I got equipped listening to these other guys. Anyway, he said once you hear a clear pastor said once you hear a clear presentation of the Bible prior to the Rapture.
that after that God’s going to send strong delusion and you won’t be able to get saved once you hear the clear presentation after the rapture. I knew he wasn’t right. I thought it would be a good thing to share with everybody. We love you down here in Sarasota. How am I hanging up with you? Thank you, Bob. Bob Dennis there sort of but actually if they hear a clear presentation that that guy is right but I think most people don’t hear a clear presentation so So I think they have opportunity to get saved during the tribulation period.
If you note 2 Thessalonians, and this is the reference where it says, with all the sea ofableness, this is chapter 2 of 2 Thessalonians verse 10, with all the sea ofableness of unrighteousness and them that perish because they receive not the love of the truth that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion that they should believe a lie, that they all might be damned who believed not the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
That’s what he’s referring to. And so if a person has heard a clear presentation and the rapture happens or left behind, they will be deluded apparently and believe the lie that the Antichrist will tell the explanation he gives for the rapture. But really, I was raised in Church for 18 years and never heard the gospel presented and I never heard a clear presentation for sure. The night I heard it clear, it was not hard for me to say this is the truth and I trusted Christ the very first time I heard the true gospel.
But if you hear a clear presentation and you turn that down, then I think you’re living dangerously because you probably will be in this group that God will send allusion to. So that fellow was probably right. They generally just say if you’ve heard the Gospel and the rapture happens, you don’t get a second chance, but it’s really, I think, a clear presentation because unless it is a clear presentation of Christ only, that your works can have nothing to do with your salvation spaced upon the finished work of Christ, I don’t think you’ve heard a clear presentation.
And if you haven’t heard a clear one, then obviously you could still get saved. I don’t think you’d be under that curse of a delusion that would be brought upon the world. All right. We’re going to go to James in Tampa and James. Welcome to Bibleline. Yes, sir. Good morning, brother Hank. How are you? Good. I got a small story that I’d like to tell you. About seven years ago when my second son passed away, I had lost my faith and I hadn’t carried on with relationship with Jesus since then.
And about two weeks ago, I was scrolling through the AM stations and I stumbled across the 9th NWTBN. And I was listening to it. And basically, everything that they were talking about on the station, all the programming throughout the day, was talking about my life and present right now where I’m at. And I just wanted to let you know that I believe that was God’s calling on me. He was that was his way of getting back in touch with me.
And about the last two weeks I’ve been listening to 910, pretty much all day long because I’m a truck driver. And I just wanted to let people know that that was God’s calling on me. And I’ve recently found my faith in him and started going and reading the Bible and going back to church again. And I just want to thank the Lord and thank the radio station there for the programs that they put on because I believe that was my calling.
and following him his way of getting back in touch with me. Well that’s wonderful. I’m glad you found Bibleline as well. And hopefully Bibleline will be a continued blessing to you. Absolutely. And I just want to say thank you very much and thank you to 910WTV and for allowing the programming. And I thank the Lord for that. It’s touched my life in a way here the last couple weeks. And I’m very thankful for that. I believe that was of getting to me.
His way of letting me know It was almost like everything that I heard on the program throughout the period of three day periods of listening to it every day, talked exactly about my life from being a single parent to going through the board and losing your faith in the Lord and finding it. It was like his message to me. Well thank you James and we appreciate that call. And By the way, 570 and 910 simultaneously broadcast us and if you’re further east you would go to 910, but if you’re over toward Pinellas County and up and down the west coast along the Gulf you would go to 570.
Well, we are getting up near on the break here and we have a number of off the air questions. We’ll be taking shortly and we also want to take your. your life call if you want to dial us there at 1-800-576-3771. We’ve been having a wonderful time here at the church I pastor, having vacation Bible school and winning boys and girls to Christ and I’ve been excited about being able to break out my guitar and sing and lead them in singing and then share the gospel with them and we’ve had kids get saved every day which is really something that thrills me.
And hopefully you that are listening right now are saved. And if you’re not, you need to just say, Lord, I am a sinner. That’s just being honest, but I believe Jesus Christ died and paid for my sins by his death and shed blood was buried and rose again from the dead. And the moment you do God will save you. That’s the best decision you’ll ever make. Then the second decision is to serve him and that’s where God will reward you and bless you.
Go ahead and do Bible in part 2 right after this break, this intermission. So don’t go away. Keep your radio dial tuned right where it is. Don’t go away. Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. I’m Dr. Englund Striman. Thanks for tuning in today. I hope you’re enjoying the program. It’s just my Self and two operators in this room right now and me and my Bible and two operators. That’s it And so everybody that’s helping is doing it as a volunteer and all of our monies go in. Somebody called in yesterday and said, well, don’t you sell books and tapes and everything? Yeah, all that money goes to pay for the radio bills. In fact, just one of the stations were on cost us over $100,000 a year just at one station alone.
So it is expensive and we’re putting money on the bus. a year just at one station alone. So it is expensive and we’re putting everything into the actual getting of the messy jount. And hopefully you might want to help us out. It’s a big project and it’s bigger than me, bigger than my church. And we thank God for how He has supplied to allow us to be on the air and expand as we have. We’re preaching the gospel through Bibleline in Honduras, South and Central America.

We are right now in the process of teaching 1st and 2nd Plusylonians on Tuesday nights from 7 till 9. And we have 3 more weeks to go, 6 more hours of class. And we will finish up this marvelous series in 1st and 2nd Plusylonians. But we have about 40 series that are already done.
The book of Revelation, the book of Daniel, of course on the Rapture, of course on the Holy Spirit, of course on parables. on the spirit world. All these are exciting and many people are raving about how they are learning so much from them. Pray for us and if you’d like to give the Bible on you may, we certainly don’t have any people pledging or subscribing. We don’t have a piggy bank, we don’t have a reserve account. We just trust God.
And what a miracle that we have been able to grow outside of Tampa where we are located and now be on many stations across North America and of course around the world through the internet. We have over 10,000 people a month listening to Bibleline on the radio. I mean on the internet. Isn’t that exciting? Go to BibleLineMinistries.org.com and click on the spinning globe or the little TV set on the right hand upper corner of the home page and you’ll be connected and it’ll be wonderful.
We’re going to go to the callers now. We have Edgar and he’s in Petersburg up in Virginia and Edgar welcome to Bibleline your On the Air. Oh, Grayson, please, Dr. Hank. I’m calling in reference to our proverb 6 and 31. When folk lawsuit, do they have to remit 7-fold of the thing that they stole? Well, you won’t have to, but obviously in the old test. testament times sometimes the penalty was that you had to make restitution plus extra. Many times today criminals have to do community service and also sometimes make restitution payback and so on and pay sometimes jail time so that’s basically something that was enforced I think in Israel under the Old Testament law but today whatever the judge meets out is what you have to do but there are principles here obviously if you have stolen in the New Testament we know that little
Zacchaeus got saved and he was a text like a collector and apparently he gave back some of the order of the money that he had taken under false pretenses that didn’t belong to him. And there are other examples throughout the Bible, so certainly it’s a good principle to do. Okay, because see, I always have the old saying to stuff, but I reckon it’s that, you You know, eventually that God Himself would have tarred you, you know, sevenfold of whatever you stole.
It may not be two weeks from there, maybe ten years from now. That’s what I was taught. Well, it could be that it will happen under you as you did to others. And certainly when you get to heaven and are evaluated at the Judge and the State of Christ, you could suffer loss of reward for the things that you did that were wrong. And so it all came out. One day and the ones who have been the victims will be compensated and the ones that are obediently serving Lord are going to be rewarded greatly.
Okay, now once we confess as it says in 1 John 1 and 9. As far as our daily walk we’re cleansed but sometimes the consequences still carry with us. Okay. In other words you can get mad and hit the wall and put your hole in it and you might be forgiven for that but the hole’s still there. Okay. No, the beast is the Antichrist the false prophet is another individual that say will also empower So there are two men two evil men the Antichrist and the false prophet or two evil men that will rise up and work together Throughout the tribulation period.
Okay, I appreciate it about the hanging day one will be a political leader the other bit will be a religious leader we’re going to go down to Fort Lauderdale, Florida and And we have Robert on the line Robert. Welcome to Bibleline your on the air First Corinthians chapter 3 there. I’ll make sure you will know, first Corinthians, and two of them, chapter 3, I’m sorry. I mean, that’s what… Okay, what is the question? I want his brain. Oh, but no give on to you.
We’re having trouble with your caller But I will turn over there and we’ll take a look at that verse 1 Corinthians chapter 12 and chapter 12 13 and 14 all deal with the gifts that God gave and And this one, I think if we have the right verse, you just can tell me here, where, for I give you to understand that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus a curse, and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Spirit.
In other words, the word of God has given us a revelation concerning Christ, and you would not certainly say Christ is cursed when the Bible which is authored by God the Holy Spirit would never ever say that. And you couldn’t know that Jesus was God except God also revealed that in the scriptures. So that’s what it’s really talking about there. And I’m sorry we had a bad connection there but Robert I hope that helps. It’s basically saying that when you are speaking, and if somebody curses Christ, they’re not speaking by the Word of God or by revelation from the Holy Spirit who wrote the scriptures, or if they recognize the deity of Christ, they are learning that because the Holy Spirit revealed it in His Word.
We have Ellen in St. Petersburg, and Ellen, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Yes, bond to a statement that was made or someone had made a statement. And it says that you want to be able to get saved after the rat shoot. If you’ve heard a clear representation of the DASPOR and we’ve checked. I want to respond to that also because that was one of the things that I was concerned about. have been instructed by the spread of God to write, pretended to direct to the tribulation that’s going to be coming.
And I want to be clear that I’m presenting the truth in the presence of God to people. And it’s 50 that I want to have a set of scriptures, but one of the scriptures that I want to tell you about is Revelation, Revelation, Chapter 14, And the verses is 6, 7, and 9. And this is something that we can all pray about. And in that picture, if I may read it, it says, I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having everlasting gospel to preach, unto them that dwell in the earth, and to every nation and country and town and people.
Same with the Lord, go and spare God and get glory to him. For the hour of judgment is coming, Russia killed the mayor of the heaven and earth in the seat and the foundation functions of water. But first nine says, and the third age of fall it is saying with the Lord voice, that amen, which of the beast and his image and his keeping marks and his forehead or in his hand, the central drink of the wine. of the wrath of God and it goes on.
Yes. The speech I really wanted to bring to your attention, across your attention, and maybe you can share a give us some enlightenment on that. Okay. The angel here that is preaching the everlasting gospel, the everlasting gospel here is the announcement that is that is made right at the end of the tribulation period that it’s basically over and God is going to come back in the person of Christ and judge the earth. And it’s also a message of goodness for the believer, obviously, because they will enter the millennium.
But for the unbeliever, he tells them they ought to fear because of the judgment that will come upon them and they will actually be cast into hell, which is described there in verse 10. So angels don’t ever really witness the gospel of the grace of God that is something that God and puts in the trust of men and women to share the gospel of Christ, the lead period to the Holy Christ. But this angel is, there are really four gospels presented in the scripture.
If you have a Scofield Bible, it does a good job of defining them. One is the gospel of the kingdom, which is a message about that kingdom that Christ will establish here on the earth, which that message will be preached during the tribulation period. it was preached by the apostles prior to Christ being rejected. But there is the gospel of the grace of God, which is the message of how we are saved by God’s grace and not by works, which is the main message that has always been taught throughout the Bible that everybody that would believe on Christ would be saved.
Then there is this gospel of the angel here that is the everlasting gospel, which is simply an announcement of good news that the tribulation period is over and those that are believers can rejoice that God is now finished with the judgments and he’ll set up his kingdom, but a warning to those that are lost that it’s too late and they’ll be cast into the eternal lake of fire. It also talks about another gospel which is not another. That is an accursed message where the gospel of Christ is polluted by corrupting it, by by adding or subtracting to it so that it is no longer the gospel that the Bible proclaims.
Alright we’re going to go now to Jose and Jose must be driving all around because if you’re the same Jose that calls you call sometimes from St. Pete’s sometimes from Seminole sometimes from Largo’s sometimes from Gulfport and is that you just roaming all around? Yeah well you know it’s a terrible light. actually I’m all over the state sometimes depending on you know when what I have to deliver and to whom I got you what’s your question today Jose you know the woman before you was asking some interesting questions and I was thinking about the application of the different books in and how Christians depending on the time of history they’re living in should view the book and one thing that I’ve been noticing in the scriptures lately is that not all the information in the different books is for us.
I mean to us. Now you’re talking about the books of the scripture, the 66 books of the Bible. the whole Bible, all the different books, I’ll give you an example. Okay, I just wanted to clarify that we’re not talking about all the books in the library downtown. No, no, I’ll talk about the books in the Bible. Okay, we’re confined to the Bible here. Oh, that took books in the library, owner. Well, that’s what I was kind of thinking there for a minute, but maybe it’s like reading a lot of books as opposed to reading the book, the Bible.
No, strictly the Bible. I’ll give you an example. If Paul, with the information, he gives the modern-day Gentile church, I took Paul’s information in, say, the book of Corinthians, the Thessalonians, and started living by it. went back time to the time of moses after he had uh… you know written uh… the Torah i would get stoned depending on you know because i would be doing a lot of things like eating unclean meat and because it would be okay for me to do or uh…
doing uh… things on the Sabbath day etcetera but we’re not right we’re not talking about salvation here we’re talking about how the old history of law If you violated it, if you broke the Sabbath or you violated the other things of the law, you would be cursed by the law and you’d be judged and you might be stoned at it. You’re absolutely right. But that has nothing to do with salvation. Everybody’s always been saved the same way. But you’re right.
need to recognize that there are at least seven different distinct dispensations in the Bible and uh… we need to know where we are like you’re saying you get confusion because otherwise you might think today that we have to offer an animal sacrifice which all those were offered under the law but were pictures of price in his death uh… for us at calvary exactly and My point is that this woman who is bringing up revelation, that book from what I’ve been and, you know, correct me if I’m wrong.
is something we should study who are going to be living it are people in a different time. Because we’re going to be gone. Well, yeah, you’re right. And most of the book of Revelation, I believe, is future from chapter 4 verse 1 on. Mark’s the beginning of the tribulation period. In chapters 4 through 19 are commentary on that seven years of tribulation. But we’re found there in chapters 2 and 3, which is the church age. And of course, obviously we have the eternity to look forward to that you see in chapters 21 and 22.
But she was concerned about those who would be left behind whether they would have a chance to become saved. And I think that she was bringing up the civilizing gospel as a verse that would say they did have a chance. That is really not a message of how to become saved, and maybe I didn’t make myself clear, but it’s purely an announcement of good news made by an angel at the end of the Tribulation Period that Christ is not coming back.
The Tribulation Period is over for the believer. It was good news for the unbeliever. It was bad news because it would be cast into the everlasting lake of fire. But you’re right. The next thing that you and I have to look forward to in this age as believers is the rapture. Exactly. And, and, and, revelation will really be serious reading for those people in the tribulation because it’ll be like an updated newspaper for them. Absolutely. And, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, What he’s saying is that we have to rightly divide the word and you wouldn’t want to read in Genesis about an impending flood and go call Lowe’s or Home Depot and order lumber to your yard so you could build an ark because
God said he would never flood the earth again. That age that was ended by the flood is passed and we’re not going to ever see God ever flood the earth again. We’re going to go to David and David is in Tampa. David, welcome to Bibleline Year on the Year. Right. Yeah, hi, David. I have a question concerning one of our mainline denominations. They recently completed their General Assembly. And I understand that they accepted a voter to receive as the correct terminology at report, which looks at the Trinity with the hope as far as the report was concerned that that.
that that be trained to be renamed to something more. Yeah, they want to make God the general neutral, either feminine or male and I read that too. I think it’s the pressure here in Church USA. And this is craziness because the Greek which the New Testament was written in doesn’t allow for God to be feminine. The all the word for God, theos is masculine. The OS ending is a masculine ending. Christos, the Greek word for Christ, is got the OS ending which is masculine.
the Holy Spirit, all of the Godhead are presented to us in the Bible with the words that present Christ and God in the Holy Spirit in the masculine form. So I think they’re just totally out of order. They’re really changing what God has revealed within his word and that’s a big sin when and you go again so God is plainly said in the Bible. Right. So this is just one more answer. Absolutely. And for Gay, I don’t think the Presbyterian Church is doing, but Gay bishops and Episcopal Church and openly practicing gays and to invite them to be in church leadership, that’s really totally against scripture.
It’s just a crazy world. Okay, thank you. And I have a second to concern. I’m not sure how to approach that, but I understood several occasions you’ve mentioned I mentioned the new international and the fact that it is an error in many respects. And yet it’s advertised as one of the very best in an advertisement that I’ve listened to. Of course. Of course. You know who’s doing that? The publisher’s doing that because they want to sell them. They really don’t, I think, have the moral integrity anymore.
They want to sell Bibles and they don’t care about you and me. It seems like we are being maligned and cheated and taken advantage of. Like it says in Second Peter made merchandise of by some of these things because the interview is terrible. And I appreciate that clarification on your part. Thank you very much. You’re very welcome. Yeah, the publishers are out there making dollar and they’re going to themselves say that they’ve got the best translation that ever was printed since the print and press came along with Gutenberg.
But I’m afraid that that’s certainly not true. Alright, we have a couple of offer questions and I think we’ve taken some of the ones I’m seeing already. We have Jay in St. Petersburg asking about women preaching in the New Testament and He uses Galatians chapter 3 as a verse to support that. I’m going to read the verse and we’ll talk about what it says. In Galatians chapter 3, I’m almost there. It says in verse 24, and my pages are sticking together.
Here we are. In Galatians chapter 3, it says, I think the verse that you’re looking at is verse 28. neither June or Greek, neither is their bond or free, neither male nor female for you are all one in Christ Jesus. That has to do with our position in Christ that we are all God’s children as it says in verse 26 by faith in Christ. When you trust Christ you become a child of God and God doesn’t make a distinction as as far as how much you are valued or loved.
But in the real world, the Bible definitely says that women are not to be preachers or church leaders or to usurp authority over the men. And so in heaven there will be no marriage, no giving in marriage, and nobody is going to be having babies. all going to be brothers and sisters in one family. So that’s true, but it doesn’t all of a sudden change everything. Somebody could take this as you’re using it to do what you’re doing. You could also say even the homosexuals could probably say, see there’s no difference, and therefore Steve, Adam and Steve could marry instead of Adam and Eve.
It’s certainly a violation of what is true for the present here now, but our position in Christ is that we are put as one, as you say. And I hope that helps a little bit. It doesn’t change what God has said about women being pastors or church leaders. First Timothy chapter 2 verses 11 through 15 are pretty plain. Okay, another person here I think says, I think it’s choice in Charlottesville, New York, should you not add, I repent of my sins after prayer?
Are your prayers being listened to if you do? Well, first of all, again, that phrase is not a good phrase. The word repent means to change your mind and the phrase, repent of sin as a condition salvation doesn’t even occur in the Bible. What the Bible says is when you are wanting to have your fellowship restored, you need to confess your sins, but it doesn’t say…
Thank you for calling in, thank you who left all fair questions and pray that everyone listening has trusted Christ as their Savior. There is no doubt only one way to heaven unless you trust Christ you will not make heaven so you don’t want to have that happen to you. Let me encourage you to call our operators and say, well, we’re going to make sure every day of this, so you do not spend the night with God. Let’s just take a deep breath.
