It actually came out about a hundred years ago by a man named Blackstone. He really opened people’s eyes to the fact that Jesus is coming again and we’re excited that it’s back in print and we’re offering it here in our resource center and we ever also have some other new things.

So take a look. You can see them on our online bookstore on the website and there you can look at pictures and descriptions of the books that we have. In fact, we are now taking our evening class and recording it on DVD, on television, on the video. And so you can either get the CDs of our classes or you can get the DVDs.

We’re going to be offering two classes in video for $15, whereas if you got each class individually or two classes on CD. We’re excited about this and also this coming Sunday will be webcasting our morning worship service here from Calumbray community and you’ll be able to watch that from anywhere in the world and I believe we’ll be putting in archives so you can go back and catch the worship service at a time at your leisure, but it will come live to you Sunday morning.

If you’ll just go to the website, there’ll be a place right up there next to the little TV set. I believe you’ll have a little thing that will actually let you know Calvary Community Church worship services and those will be on the internet. That’s exciting and we’re excited about all the new things that we’re doing here and we’ve had a couple of weeks here of practice trying to get all the bugs worked out so that it will go smoothly for you.

We’re going to get into the Bible here a little bit and we’ll take our call. You are welcome to call us at 1-800-576-3771. 1-800-576-3771 and If you have a question, you can ask it on the air or you can leave an off-air question and we’ll try to get to those as quickly as we can and we’ll try to answer your questions. Well, in any case, the Bible is an incredible book and there’s some wonderful, wonderful promises in God’s Word.

And for the believer, how wonderful it is that you can know and be fully assured. I remember as a brand new believer reading a book by Harry A. Ironsides called Full Assurance. And what a wonderful book that was. And I saw the importance early on in my Christian life of being assured of my salvation. Because first of all, that’s the platform off of which we build our Christian lives. Because if I were not assured of the fact that I was a believer and saved and going to heaven when I die, then I would not have much incentive to move forward because I’d still be looking back and asking myself, am I going to make heaven or am I not going to make heaven?

And I’d be constantly looking over my shoulder to try to figure out whether I’m going to make it or not and not really focus on the Christian life. But once you become assured, then you can really move forward. So it gives you the platform to witness from. If you’re not assured of your salvation, what kind of witness would you have? Would you go up to someone and say, hey, how would you like to be as insecure and unsure of my future as I am?

Let me just help you to be confused like I am and I’ll tell you how to do that. Well obviously that’s no witness at all and nobody would listen to you and you wouldn’t even do that I’m sure to admit to people that you just don’t have a clue as to what’s going to happen in your future. But the Bible says you could know while you’re living where you’re going when you’re dying. And so when you die, you can be absolutely assured of going to heaven to say that I know I’m going to heaven.

That’s right. And the Bible gives us numerous verses that give us that kind of assurance. In Romans 8 verses 38 and 39, I love this, Paul says, I am persuaded that neither death nor life nor angels nor principalities or powers or things present or things to come nor or high-thruft nor any other creation shall be able to separate me from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus. Once you trust Christ, there is absolutely nothing, nothing in this universe that can separate you.

In fact, not even God, because God gives His Word on the fact that He would not undo the salvation that He works at the moment you believe. In fact, in Ephesians 1, 13, and 14, He seals the believer with Himself. That’s right, the Holy Spirit. You know, in Ephesians 1, 13, and I love this passage, it says, in whom you also trusted, referring to Jesus Christ, after that you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, having believed, it says, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit.

You know, having believed means simultaneous with belief. At the moment you believe, at the instant you believe, You are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. The Holy Spirit gives us this promise that yes, one day our feet will be on heaven’s soil. One day we’ll be walking the streets of glory in heaven. And the believer can be assured of that right now while he’s living. That’s right. And it goes on to say in verse 14, and this is Ephesians 1, having believed you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.

Verse 14 says, which is the earnest. That means down payment. It’s an old English word, but it’s still used in legal documents. It’s a down payment. And the Holy Spirit becomes the down payment on your salvation signifying that God is in earnest and he’s going to complete the salvation that he began when you trusted Christ. And what it would mean is if you ever did lose your salvation, which is impossible, God would have to forfeit the down payment to you.

In other words, the Holy Spirit would be forfeited to you. And if you ever went to hell, the Holy Spirit would have to go to hell with you. Never going to happen. And by the way, Jesus would have to go to hell with you too, because in Hebrews 13-5, Jesus says to the believer, I will never leave you. I will never. Never means never. Never. I’ll never leave you. Let’s say you got lost. We can’t happen, but it is just say for illustration’s sake, you can get lost.

Well, then the Holy Spirit would have to go to hell with you. Jesus would have to go to hell with you because Christ said, I will never leave you. And the Holy Spirit is the seal of your salvation, the guarantee, the down payment, so you can never be lost. The Father says in John 639, this is the Father’s Will. That Christ would lose none of those that He gave to Christ to keep saved. Christ is keeping us saved. And it’s the Father’s will that Christ loses nobody.

Well if Christ is obedient to the will of the Father, which He is, and has always been and always will be, Christ will never lose one single solitary person that becomes saved. I like John 1028. Jesus says, I give unto them eternal life. He doesn’t say I give unto you temporary life. He doesn’t say I give you life until you sin again. He doesn’t say I give you life until you break a commandment. He says I don’t give you a trial period and hope you do well.

He doesn’t say I’m going to give you probation. God offers salvation. And it’s eternal. And I love that verse, John 1028, Christ says I give unto them. That is the believer’s eternal life. And then he says, they shall never perish. In John 3 16, it says, whose whoever believeth in Christ should not perish? It’s talking about the penalty for sin, which is death, which is twofold. It’s physical death, the separation of your soul from your body. And it’s the second death, the separation of your soul from God in hell forever.

The Bible simply says, you’ll never perish. You’ll never perish. You’ll never go to hell. Write it in the margin, John 1028. You’ll never go to hell. you’ll never go to hell once you trust Jesus as your Savior. Isn’t that great news? And then thirdly in John 10, when he says, and neither shall any pluck them out of my hand, you can’t be lost because you’re safely held in the hand of Christ. He’s not going to let go. He’s not going to drop you.

He’s not going to let go and forsake you. Christ says neither shall any pluck them out of my hand. I give them eternal life. They’ll never perish. They’ll never go to hell and neither shall any pluck them out of my hand. My friend I’m going to heaven, I don’t know about you. I pray that you would and you can and you can be sure of it right now if you’d only trust Jesus as your Savior. The one you believe the gospel message, the message of the death and the burial and the resurrection of Christ, God saves you and He saves you eternally.

It’s the best news you’re ever going to hear. I have never heard any better and I don’t expect that I ever will. This is why the Bible calls it good news. This is the real good news. And it’s the good news that will never change. Never will it turn sour, never will it be revoked or changed or rescinded. This is good news. It’s good news forever. I’m saved forever. I have eternal life. If you’re not saved forever, you’re not saved.

Let me say that again. If If you’re not saved forever, you’re not saved. That’s right. In other words, the only kind of salvation God offers is eternal salvation. And if you’re not saved forever, then you’re not saved. I don’t know what kind of salvation you have. But basically, you’re saying if you’re not saved forever through what Christ did for you at the cross, then you’re working your way and therefore you’re not going to be saved because as long as you’re trusting in anything that you’re going to do in addition to faith in Christ.

You’re not going to make heaven at all. I’m Dr. Englund from this Bible and I pray that everybody listening has received this wonderful gift of eternal life that is a gift and it’s not my works and it’s through faith in Christ’s death and shed blood. And then God takes over and He keeps you saved and there’s nothing in this universe that can ever separate you from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus, which is in Christ Jesus, when you trust Christ, you are in the family of God.

You are in the body of Christ. You are in period. You are in the group that will be with God forever in heaven. We’ve got lots of all fair questions here, and I’m Dr. olkienS from you can call in with yours. Also, we are going to take our live callers as well, so you can call us right now at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771 and we invite you to give us a call. We have Anthony in Gloversville, New York calling in and he says, believing and trusting is that all you need to do.

Let me say it this way, Anthony, it’s all you can do. Not all you need to do. It’s all you can do. There are choices A, B, C and B. The only thing you can do is trust Christ. There’s no other alternative. It’s John 3 16. God still loved the world and he gave his only begotten son that who’s whoever believe it? He didn’t give us another option. He didn’t say here’s choice H, choice B, choice D, and you can believe or you can work or you can join or you can climb or you can pay or you can tie or you can be baptized.

Those are not choices. It’s his who ever believe it in him. Anthony goes on to say Christ died on the cross for our sins. Is there anything more that we need to do, the answer is no. Jesus on the cross. He might be reminded, said, it is finished. What does that mean? It is finished means it’s finished. The work of salvation has been completed. It’s been concluded. The book of Hebrews tells us Christ is not only the author of our salvation, but he’s the finisher.

He finished it. It’s finished is completed. Christ didn’t come part way along the path of providing our salvation. He finished. work of salvation. There’s nothing left for you to be able to do. I love Romans 4 5 and I’ll leave you with this one, Anthony, but to Him that worketh not, Romans 4 5, but to Him that worketh not, but believeeth on Christ that justified them, Godly, his faith in Christ is counted for righteousness. What a great verse. I’ll give you that one more time.

Romans 4 5, Anthony, but to Him that worketh not, but believeeth on Christ that justified them, Godly. His faith in Christ is counted for righteousness. You are going to have a based upon what Jesus Christ did for you. We have Edgar and Petersburg, Virginia called in off air, leaves this question. He says in Isaiah 9, 6, where it says everlasting Father, how do we distinguish this with God the Father? Well, Jesus Christ is God. And So therefore, he is called here the everlasting Father.

Sometimes the God has used interchangeably. It tells us in Colossians 2-9 that in Christ dwelt all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. That means everything that is God, everything that is included in what is God dwelt in the body, that Jesus Christ lived in here while he was here on this earth. earth. He is fully God as those who were at the Council of Nicaea Decreed and fully man. Fully God, fully man. This has been accepted and believed by the believers.

Down through the ages. The first Council there in the fourth century, the early believers wrestled with the doctrine of Aryanism which said that Christ had a beginning, that he was a created being. The Joseph witnesses keep following that false teaching which was soundly put down by the early Christian church. And they said, Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He’s the God-man. God who came and took on human flesh, John 1-14 tells us that the word or God was made flesh and dwelt among us.

And John says, we beheld His glory. This was God. The Gospel of John shows the glory of God through the person of Jesus Christ who is the God-man who came to be our Savior and died on the cross to pay for our sins. Edgar, I hope that helps up in Petersburg, Virginia, calling in, listening out of Chester, Virginia. Off-air Jim in Petersburg, Virginia calls in. He runs a Bible study and needs help. Revelation 12, 4, says that one-third of the angels were cast back down onto the earth.

Are there any other verses that say the same thing? The answer is only there in Revelation 12. Verse 9 also tells us the same thing again. But one-third of the angels followed Satan and Revelation 12 is the only place that gives us that answer. Good question. You might want to get my Revelation series. I have 12 hours of teaching on the book of Revelation that are on CD. We cover every verse. That one is so popular we can hardly keep it on our shelf, but we go went through Revelation verse by verse 12 weeks of teaching 12 hours on CD and that’ll be maybe a great aid to you.

I know that I Have enjoyed teaching of a revelation. I don’t know how many times now But this was a very good presentation this last time we went through that we have John and Charlotte, Michigan He says, is there the possibility of God looking more favorably toward the saved Jew over a saved Gentile? Good question. I haven’t had that one asked. I don’t think before, but the answer is no. The answer is no. And let me give you a great verse in the book of Galatians.

It tells us in verse 28 of chapter 3 of Galatians, there is neither Jew nor Greek, neither bond nor free, neither male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. In other words, there is no distinctions between one believer or another believer in heaven. As you trust Christ as Savior, it says God doesn’t look as to whether you are Jew or whether you’re Gentile or whether you’re a slave or a free man or whether you’re male or female.

In that great, women have equal status. Gentiles with Jews have equal status. Slaves with three men equal status. That’s Galatians chapter 3 verse 28. It says in verse 27 the verse before it, as many of you have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. That is the baptism of the Holy Spirit that places you into the body of Christ. And the verse part of that says we are all the sons of God. or the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

And once you trust Christ, there is no distinction. You are on equal footing with every other believer of all the ages of all those that have ever lived. Thank you. We are going to go ahead and take a live call. We have been trying to get these offer questions out of the way. And you are welcome to call in with your live question or leave an offer question for us. We have Jim in St. Petersburg and Jim. Welcome to Bibleline thanks for joining us today.

Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Good morning, Dr. Ann. Good morning. I was just listening to the difference between the question about the difference between the saved you and the saved Gentile. Yeah. The Bible teaches that we are adopted the Gentiles are adopted into the family of God. Is that not so? That’s great. Okay. The difference then is if there isn’t a difference in all between a saved you and a saved Gentile is the fact that an adopted child cannot, according to law, a natural child can.

Wow. And that is the law of the end. I wasn’t familiar with that, but certainly this is a great verse in Galatians 3 that levels the playing field for all of us who are believers though whether you are a Jew or Gentile. Right. I have some kind of… Why? I’m an eternal security person, believe me. No. I believe that once I’m saved I’ll be… there’s nothing that can overcome the blood of Jesus. Right. Well, you know, but basically, corporately, the Bible says that the Jewish people were set aside during this age and the Gentiles have obviously given preeminency as far as God’s witnesses and His purpose.

He’s turned to us Gentiles. But as far as salvation in all ages, Jew and Gentile are on the same footing as far as eternal promises and eternal life, that’s a gift. I find some gentiles kind of feel jealous of not being Jewish. I don’t know why they would have to do that because the Bible says that we are, we are one in Ephesians. It says several times that we’re no longer enemies, no longer strangers, no more outside the covenants.

We’re right now fellow citizens that says in Ephesians 220 with all the saints. So every believer is equally included in the body. Good point. Thank you, Jim. Thank you. That was Jim in St. Petersburg and we would love to hear from you. The phone number here is 1-800-576-3771. We have John in Clearwater off the air. He says explain Calvinism. Well, we have a few hours, a few months. But Calvinism basically talks about predestination and the Bible teaches that God has predestinated all that would believe to go to heaven.

And God has predestinated before the foundations of the earth all that would not believe on Jesus Christ as Savior to go to hell. So in a nutshell, that’s basically it. I love what D.L. Moody said and he’s had a way of making things simple in plain. I think that’s why D.L. Moody was so successful in evangelism and reaching people with the scriptures. And he said the Whosoever wills are the elect and the Whosoever won’ts are the non-elects. So in a nutshell that’s it.

So God in his infinite wisdom before the foundations of the earth chose a plan of redemption for fallen man and he chose to save. He predestinated that all that would believe on the Lord Jesus Christ would be saved and all that would reject Christ would be lost. And you have it, John, in John 3 16. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, here is the will of the Father now, that whosoever would believe in Christ would not perish but have eternal life.

But the opposite is also true. It is a two-edged sword that whosoever would not believe would indeed perish and would not have everlasting life. That is a quickie. I hope that answers it for you. We have to go to break here. We are coming up on that part of the program here. You are certainly welcome to call in here at 1-800-576-3771. Leave an all-fare question or be here for the second half of Bibleline. We hope that you will do that.

We absolutely do not have the resources to do that. Without your help, we certainly could not be on the air.

you’d like to pray for us and that is appreciated but if you could also be a contributor, really no gift is too small. If everybody that listened would give a little bit, it would take care of our expenses and assure that this program would continue in your area. And invest in this program which I believe is an investment in eternity.

You’ll be connected to a page that on the left side says, click here for Bibleline television.

On the right side it will say click here for Bible and Radio. It’s that simple. Really, it’s that simple. And you don’t have to know much about it at your computer to be able to pull this off. And at the bottom of that page it will say click here on the left for Bible and television archives. And there are all the TV programs sitting in archives. On the right side it says click here for the radio Bible and archives.

And you’ll get the past radio programs. That’s simple. Really, it’s pretty easy to use. So go to my website, BibleLineMinistries.org or .com. Plus, we have so many other things waiting there for you, and also this Sunday. You’ll be able to watch our worship service, the message delivered from the pulpit here at Telver Community Church on the Internet. From anywhere in the world, that’s exciting. Tell your friends. And I believe that will drop into archive and be able to be seen at other times during the following week.

But this will be our debut. I believe this coming Sunday and certainly we hope you’ll be a part of that. We certainly are looking for help with our expenses. We need partners all the time. We push ourselves right to the very limit and we believe Christ is coming soon. We believe we don’t have time to hesitate or to wait but we need to venture out and trust God to supply. you like to help us? We’re not trying to get your money.

We really are lean and mean. I don’t get paid. Our staff doesn’t get paid. We volunteer ourselves. All of our monies go into paying for radio time, satellite time, phone bills which are quite expensive. We pay for every 800 call that comes in here and we get lots of calls throughout the day and all of those cost us on our phone So we have to pay all those kind of things and then equipment expenses and we’ve lost equipment this summer through some lightning strikes.

So all those things add up just like you’d like to know that the money is going really for getting this word out. I don’t know of a ministry that is as lean as we are as far as there’s no fat here. This is all going to get the programs out and to create new ways that we can bring you more things that will help you in the way of our worship services and even our classes that we teach here to do them in video as well as audio and to make them available and that’s by the way what we’re doing with this present class that I’m teaching on Tuesday nights that’s going to be available on DVD as well as CD and so you can actually be like you’re sitting in the classroom with me and see me turning in my Bible and teaching from the

Word of God instead of just listening to the audio, we’re very excited about all these things. And everything, believe it or not, costs money as you might realize. And we’re not trying to get your money. We really want to just be able to do a better job. Reach out further. Win more people to Christ. Challenge more people to serve the Lord than we have been a year ago or a month ago. We’re always pushing pushing out and I believe that’s certainly something that God would have us to do.

And we need your help in that. We need people just like you who enjoy this program and say, you know, I can give a little bit. And that’s all we’re asking is if you could give a little bit. And if everybody that listened gave a little bit, we’d be able to take care of everything. And sometimes we run pretty thin because sometimes I think people think, well, they’re taken care of. And by the way, my church couldn’t do it because I’m not a megachurch here either.

A lot of people are surprised that we’re able to do what we’re able to do with the resources that we have here. here, but that’s because of our listeners. Without you partnering with us, we’d be off the air. That’s just a reality. And so pray for us if you can’t do anything else, and that’s fine. We love you just as much, but if you could give, I believe not only would you be helping Bible on it, but God is going to richly reward you for your investment.

I believe we’re to give smart according to the Bible, and you need to be knowing where you’re going, knowing where you’re giving, while you’re living so that you’re going to get the maximum benefit from God one day. God wants us to be wise investors and give where the gospel is given, the word of God is exalted, and people are getting saved, and people are being challenged, and where you’re being blessed. And so if this program is a blessing to you, consider being a Bible-ign partner.

We have lots of colors, and we have lots of both of the air questions today. We’re going to try to move on. We have Benjamin in Clearwater. That’s a good Bible name. Isn’t it one of the 12 sons of Jacob was called Benjamin? Benjamin, welcome to Bibleline. You’re on the air. Good morning. Good morning. I just want to ask a question. In 1st of the period, 319, say that Jesus went to preach to the Spirit. I would like to know if anyone of those who have been saved, that is the way to go.

Get saved and why he went to preach to God’s spirit. I’ll do that, Benjamin. Thank you. I believe what is happening here is that the Holy Spirit that was in Noah preached to those that were disobedient, it says here in verse 20, while God in his long suffering waited in the days of Noah for the ark to be prepared. So during that 120 years the preaching took place by the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead. And as Peter also describes, this spirit is the spirit of Christ that was in the prophets and in Noah.

And so this is while they were still living and they died in unbelief and they were obviously drowned in the flood. And so these spirits that are now in prison were preached to while they were living while God waited according to verse 20. So I believe they were living people preached to but rejected the gospel all drowned in Noah’s flood and are now in that prison. That prison by the way is Hades in the heart of the earth where they still are waiting to be eventually cast into hell.

As it says in Revelation 20, after the thousand year end of Christ, then those that are in Hades in this prison will be brought up given the resurrection bodies assigned a degree of punishment according to their works and cast into the everlasting lake of fire. So the answer to your question is Benjamin that these were living people that were waiting during the days of Noah for the ark to be prepared. God was patient during that time and allowed the Spirit of Christ as Peter describes the Holy Spirit.

The same spirit that raised Christ from the dead we read about in verse 18 of this chapter 3 of 1 Peter. And that same Holy Spirit by which he also went and preached the spirits in prison. And then it tells us in verse 20 that they were disobedient. And you know the word disobedient is used in the Bible of those that are disobedient to the gospel. And so the disobedience was not the fact that they just lived sinful lives or they may have actually lived very more once.

Who knows? But in any case, they were disobeying to the message that was being preached to them, did not believe and are now in that prison in the heart of the earth called Hades where they’ll be eventually brought up given a resurrection by the Incast and the Hell. Thank you for that call and appreciate that. We have Steve in Tampa, Florida, says question number one and question number two. explain the difference between Jehovah’s Witnesses and Christians in general. Well, it’s easy to characterize Jehovah’s Witnesses as versus Christians by the things that they don’t believe.

They don’t believe the Trinity that Christians believe in. They don’t believe in the deity of Christ that Christians believe in. They don’t believe in the deity of the Holy Spirit that Christians believe in. They don’t believe in the resurrection of Christ which Christians believe in. They don’t believe in salvation by faith apart from works that Christians believe in. They don’t believe in hell which Christians believe in. They don’t believe the Bible to be the sole authority. They believe the Watchtower Society has an edge over the Bible, and so they reject that.

They don’t believe in observing birthdays, saluting the flag, fighting for your country, and on and on and on. It’s best to say, here’s what the Jones Witnesses don’t believe. They don’t believe just about everything that we do believe as Christians. Number two, Steve from Tampa says, can you explain the Trinity? Well, basically the Trinity is, the Bible teaches that there’s one God, but he is a composite unity. And that is, it’s not one plus one plus one, that would be three.

So some people accuse us of believing in three gods, which is not true. But if you know anything about math, and I took a lot of math, I graduated in electrical engineering and in fact I had high school teachers say why don’t you come over and head up my math department when I was just getting going in my Christian life in service and I said I have a higher calling than that because but I love math and I I took tons of it but if you multiply one times one times one what do you get one times one times one equals one and this is what we’re talking the God is a composite unity.

God the Father, God the Holy Spirit, God the Son, the three members of the Godhead are one God, and they all have the same name. Jesus in Matthew 28, 19 says it were to go forth into all the world and baptize the disciples that we make in the name singular of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. One of the neat illustrations in nature of the Trinity is H2O. When you get thirsty that’s what we normally drink.

They’re charging a lot of Fortnite on those little bottles but water. But water without changing the chemical composition, if you heat it above 212 degrees it becomes a gas. Between 212 and 32 degrees Fahrenheit it’s a liquid and below 32 degrees Fahrenheit it’s a solid and yet it’s still H2O. Two parts of hydrogen, one part oxygen is still the same and then amazing. So here is H2O can be manifested as a gas, as a liquid, and as water and yet the chemical composition and as a solid, the chemical composition doesn’t change.

Hope that helps a little bit and that’s a brief explanation. We have some wonderful books in our resource center. Let me recommend two. We have Basic Theology by Charles Ryrie, which he goes into that really in a great way. We also have one by Paul M’s, called the Moody-Himbick of Theology. He wrote that for Moody. It was a great theological discussion of the major doctrines of the Bible. And both of these books are available in our resource center and others that we might recommend.

But now I get a resource list sent to you because we’ve got lots of good things that I recommend. A lot of books out there aren’t worth a whole lot. And if you go to the average Christian bookstore and say 90% of it, you wouldn’t want to buy at least in my estimation. But the really good stuff is maybe even less than 10% that I’m talking about. What we do is we’ve selected books that we feel are excellent, excellent.

And that’s what we have in our resource center. You can get a list or you can look at it on our online bookstore by going to Bible and ministry is not ORG. We’re going to Deltona, Florida and that’s over on the East Coast of Florida and we have Lin on the line. So Lin, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. How you doing? My question is, the ultimate unforgiving sin. How can you explain that? Well, the ultimate sin is the ultimate sin.

Well, the ultimate unforgivable sin is that of unbelief. In John 3.8 we have it, it says he to believeth on Christ is not condemned, but he to believeth not is condemned already. Because because because it says he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten son of God. John 3 36 has it. He that believes on the son of God has everlasting life, but he that believeeth not the son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him.

And then when we talk about the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit which the Bible describes as being unpardonable, if you look at Mark’s Gospel chapter 3 verse 30, it says when the Holy Spirit is being In the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3.36 has it. He that believes on the Son of God has everlasting life, but he that believeth not the Son shall not see life but the wrath of God abideth on him. And then when we talk about the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit which the Bible describes as being part of all.

If you look at Mark’s Gospel chapter 3 verse 30 it says when they blam. blaspheme against the Holy Spirit, their endanger eternal damnation because what it is in is described in verse 30 because they said that Christ had an unclean spirit. It was to attribute the works that Christ did to Satan and not to the Holy Spirit, which the Holy Spirit was the one who did the miracles through Christ. And to say that Satan did it was to claim that Christ was in posture or fraud, a counterfeit, a shelving, a deceiver, not the Savior, not the Messiah.

So it’s the same sin as the sin of unbelief or rejection of Christ. So that’s only the only sin that can take you to hell is to reject Christ. To deny without Christ means you’ll spend the eternity separated from God. Okay. Thank you. You’re very welcome. It was over in Deltina next to Daytona Beach in the whole area listening out of the land Florida. We’re on the air up there at the same time as here in Tampa. We have Carl in Sarasota, Florida.

Carl, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Hey, Doc. Hey, I got a question about prayer. I was talking to my wife yesterday about prayer. She’s kind of a new Christian and I was wondering about when Daniel prayed when he got captured and he was praying towards Jerusalem. I guess they said something like that. Could you help me out where I’ve gone wrong there? I didn’t go wrong. Daniel prayed, and God dispensed to Angel Gabriel to answer his prayer.

You read about it in Daniel 10. It says that when Angel finally arrived, he said, Daniel, for the first day when you entered your request, I was dispatched from God’s throne to bring this answer to you. He’s talking about demons that are assigned to world powers and apparently this demon that was assigned to the king of Persia intercepted him and apparently fought with him and prevented Gabriel from getting to Daniel for 21 days. So sometimes Satan can hinder or interrupt the answer to a prayer so we just have to be patient.

But there’s this spiritual battle going on behind the scene and that’s what it’s talking about there. because they can’t really hear or stop things. Well, they can’t interfere, yeah, but basically, ultimately God’s going to be the victory. But it was an interesting thing to see that Satan’s angels are constantly trying to intercept and interrupt anything that God is trying to do through you and me. So we need to be aware that we have an enemy that we’re battling. I see, because the father’s got here in your prayer.

They can’t stop. I’ve got here. They’re immediately right. You got that right. And that’s what it says, or Daniel Chapter 10, that Daniel’s prayer was heard immediately. And from the very first moment when he made his request, God dispatched Gabriel to bring that answer. But the game of Gabriel was detained by that demon that was assigned to the king of Persia. Great. Yeah. Yeah. That’s all. Thanks. Call you. Welcome. All right. Thanks for listening. And thanks for calling in today.

That was Carl in Sarasota, Florida. We have Chris and Tampa, Florida, off here calling in and he’s asking about Luke chapter 13 and he asks about chapter 13 of Luke in particular Versus six through nine. So I’m gonna turn there and we’re gonna Find out what Chris is asking about here. This is Luke chapter 13 and Versus six through nine. It says here. He’s fake also This parable, a certain man, had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came and sought fruit there on, and found none.

Then he said to the dresser of his vineyard, Behold these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none. Cut it down. Why come worth it to the ground? And he, answering, said it in, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and fertilize it. If you burn fruit well, and if not, then after that, that’ll show. Headed down, talking here about a believer that we all ought to be fruit bearing, but there is no real purpose for us to remain on this planet if we don’t live for Christ or produce fruit for Him.

In some cases, God might take us home to heaven prematurely if we are not producing any fruit for the Lord. John 15 talks about the branch in the vine that doesn’t produce any fruit is cut off out of the branch. The result is that believer will have no reward in heaven. His works will have been burned up. He has no testimony, no fruit among men, and men gather these and their testimony is worthless before men. The same has talked about in Matthew chapter 5 where the salt is lost at Saver.

It’s worth nothing but to be trampled under the foot of men. It’s talking about men will not respond if you don’t live for Christ and back up your words with your life and this is a parable about Christians needing to get on the ball and produce fruit in their life. And God wants to work with us and fertilize us and see us grow and develop and be fruit bearing. But if we don’t, then maybe the Lord might say, okay, you’ve had your opportunity.

You might as well come home to heaven and you’re not doing a thing on the earth to glorify me. Okay, we have a question from Christine in Plant City Florida. She says, what was Noah’s wife’s name? And she was Mrs. Noah. That’s as best as I can do. We don’t have the Bible telling us the name of Noah’s wife, so we’ll just leave it at Mrs. Noah. Hope that helps, but nobody I think will know till we get to He said, I haven’t.

She was saved, but she didn’t get any ink in the Bible outside of being addressed as Noah’s wife. All right, we have Michael, off here, in Boca Grand, Florida, calling in. He says, where does it say there’s no tattooing in the Bible? Well, it doesn’t say that, but it says we’re not to tattoo our bodies. In Luke, rather Leviticus, chapter 19, I believe it’s verse The Bible says you are not to print any marks on your body and you are not to make any cuttings in your body.

That is not my opinion but that is what God says. I think it is because it is like graffiti. God created your body in His image and when you draw things all over it that is just like what if somebody came up and did graffiti on your house or on your car. be furious. Well, God says, hey, your body was created by me and I don’t want you to make any cuttings in your body and I don’t want you to print any marks on it.

So definitely the Bible. Now, if you already have a tattoo, you’re stuck. I understand and God will forgive you. But basically, this is good information for those that have not had a tattoo. It says in Leviticus 19, 28, you shall not make any cuttings in your flesh, nor print any marks upon you and then God says, listen, I am the Lord. This is not an opinion. This is what God says, don’t put any graffiti on your body and don’t go ahead and make cuttings in your body.

It’s God says, not right, don’t do that. Don’t mess up the body that I created in my image for you to live in. Your soul lives in that body and one day you’ll get a new body in heaven, but this body here we are to take care of and we are to glorify God in our body. First Corinthians 6, 19, and 20 says, What notes you know that the Holy Spirit is in you, your body is his temple and that you are to glorify God in your body and in your spirit which are gods that he owns it and so we are not to graffiti our bodies.

So as a believer let’s not put any tattoos on our bodies. We have a caller from Bradenton, Florida, and his name is Angus, and he says the Bible says the Messiah would come through the seed of Abraham. Why did the Holy Spirit then plant the seed in Mary? This does not match up with the genealogy. Yes, it does. Mary, if you read the genealogy in Luke chapter 3, which is the genealogy of Mary, Mary is the descendant of David all the way back to Abraham and read that in Luke chapter 3.

You’ll find that Mary’s ancestry takes you all the way back through King David back to Abraham and that Mary was the connection in the flesh back to Abraham. was the Father, therefore Christ was not.
