Bibleline Radio Show – 2006-10-23 – Christmas

Christ’s Birthday we believe is October 31st and not the December 25th date that we celebrate now that is pagan in origin. Istar was said to have received her son back from the dead, for it was taught that Tammuz was slain by a wild boar and afterwards brought back to life. To him the egg was sacred, as depicting the mystery of his resurrection even as the evergreen tree was his chosen symbol and was set up in honor of his birth at the winter solstice.

We would love to have you. By the way, we have a new class beginning tomorrow. That’s right tomorrow night We’re gonna start on Tuesday nights five weeks of teaching from seven till nine. We’ll be talking about ten vital doctrines ten vital doctrines, you know We have the foundation of Christ as believers first Corinthians three eleven says for other foundation Can no man lay the net which is later which is Jesus Christ But also we have the written word as well as the living word and that is of course the word of God.

And the Bible tells us that we are to build ourselves up on our most holy faith which is the word of God. And so we obviously need to be grounded and settled upon the foundation of Christ and of His word. And we are going to cover 10 important significant vital doctrines that will just lay a foundation for your whole Christian life. If you don’t have your foundation right, then you certainly can’t build your Christian life correctly. And 2 Timothy 3 16 says, for all scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable right at the bottom of the list.

Right up front is doctrine, profitable for doctrine. And everything else builds on that. And if you don’t have your foundation, then obviously whatever you build will crumble. And so we need to know what the Bible has to say. We invite you to be a part of it. By the way, this is going to be probably the first now. You will be able to take this class by internet. If you call up and register, they’ll give you a passcode and you’ll be able to watch these classes as often as you want throughout the time of the course, which will be five weeks long and then they’ll disappear.

But you’re welcome to sign up and take the class in your home or office or wherever you might be. It’ll be live on Tuesday nights, that’s tomorrow night from seven to nine. And if you’re in the area, we’d love to have you come and sign up and be a part of the class. Ten vital doctors beginning tomorrow night running for five weeks, ten hours of total teaching. The last one that we just finished was called meeting the challenge and we have that available on CD and DVD and it turned out really good and I know you’ll really enjoy.

It will help you lift your Christian life to the next level for sure and many really enjoyed that series. We hope that you’ll take advantage of it. Also we have of course many others that are on CD, the Book of Revelation, the Book of Daniel, The book of Zachariah, the book of Matthew, the book of Genesis, and many other topics like the Rapture. Twelve hours of teaching on the Rapture, twelve hours on the Holy Spirit, twelve hours on the spirit world.

We also have classes on Huddly Souls of Christ, the Book of Jude, the Book of Romans, the Book of Hebrews, many of the presentations. They’ll really be a blessing to know if you’re serious about studying the Bible. They’ll help you. We’re going to take phone calls in a little bit if you want to call us. It’s 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. And we hope that you’ll give us a call. We will, uh, We’ll talk a little bit today about the scriptures, then take our callers and a number of people are calling in right now, leaving off air questions, and some are wanting to wait and get up on the air with us.

We’ll take those calls as quickly as we can. Did you realize that the birthday of Christ is coming up? I believe not December 25th, but that Christ was born in October and thought I’d say Merry Christmas to you in advance here. And I believe, probably, he was born on October 31st. Let me run through this with you in the scriptures. The December 25th date is obviously a pagan date, and it was the traditional celebration of the birthday of Baal.

Baal was the counterfeit of Christ, equivalent of when you read the book of Genesis in chapter 10, you read about Nimrod. His wife was Simoramis, and she supposedly had a virgin-born son named Tamuz. Did you know that named Simoramis is still around all over the Middle East? I stayed in Egypt, in the middle of the Nile River on an island there, in the Simoramis Hotel, beautiful hotel. But her name is still around. That’s the mother of Tamuz, equivalent to Astroth, or Easter, and her son Bail.

That’s right. I was in Damascus, Syria, and right across the street was another hotel called Simoramisotel, again named after the mother of Tamu’s equivalent to the mother of Bail. So she’s still around. And obviously when Constantine came along, the paganism continued, but they changed the mother and the son from Simoramis and Tamus, or Asproth and Bail, to Mary and Jesus. By the way, his birthday was celebrated December 25th. Let me read to you from Jeremiah 10. Listen and think and ask yourself, have you ever heard of such a custom?

This is how Bail’s birthday was celebrated. Jeremiah 10 says, Hear ye the word which the Lord speaketh unto you, O house of Israel. Thus saith the Lord, learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven. For the heathen are dismayed at them. For the customs of the people are vain, for one cut of the tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workmen with the axe, and they deck it with silver and with gold, and they fast it with nails and with hammers that it moved not.

Have you ever heard of such a practice? Cutting down a perfectly good tree, dragging it home, nailing it down so it doesn’t move, and decorating it with silver and gold. Well, guess what? That’s the way Bales’ birthday was celebrated. He was supposedly the life giver. And so in the winter when most trees had lost all of its older green leaves and foliage, they would take an evergreen tree and they would bring it home and nail it down and deck it with silver and gold and celebrate the birthday of this life-giver bail, the false counterfeit of Jesus Christ.

Well December 25th is not the date. I don’t think we’ll ever be able to change that. I think we’re locked in. And by the way, I don’t mind celebrating the birthday of Christ twice. It gives me a great opportunity to talk about Jesus and tell others about him. But let me just run through quickly with you how I have come to the conclusion that Christ was born in October and probably October 31. In Luke chapter 1 it says in verse 5, there was in the days of Herod the king of Judea a certain priest named Zacharias.

He was of the course of Abiyya and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron and her name was Elizabeth. What you need to focus in on here is the course of Abiyya. That was the term of service that that Zacharias would serve during. You know, when the priesthood grew, they ran out of jobs. And so what they did is they divided the year up into 24 two week periods called courses. And the course of Abiyya was the eighth course.

And that means the eighth two week period from the beginning of the year. The first month of the year was the month that they came out of Egypt. And that was in the spring, at the time of the Passover. the 14th day of the first month of Nysan was Passover. So that was usually about mid-March. So if you go eight two-week periods, you’ll find that the time that Zachariah was to serve was from the middle of July till the end of July.

So the last two weeks of July was his term of service. We find it goes on to say a little bit further down here. It came to pass verse 8 that he executed the priest office before God in the order of his course. That was the course of Abiyyah. So… Zacharas went to work in the middle of July, and then he got off duty at the end of July. That was just a pretty nice deal. Wouldn’t it? Two weeks of work, 50 weeks off.

And usually it’s the other way around, isn’t it? You work 50, maybe you get two weeks off. But here Zacharas had a two-week work period for the year, and he began mid-July ended at the end. He went in to offer up the incense, the altar of incense, and then he went in to work. in the first room there of the temple just before the curtain separated from the holy of holies. We find that in verse 11, there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense.

When Zachariah saw him he was troubled and fear fell upon him. The angel here addresses Zachariah and says, fear not Zachariah’s, for thy prayer is heard. My wife Elizabeth shall bear thee a son, and now shall call his name John.” So here he is told that their prayer for a child is now finally answered. They were very old, well-stricken in years the Bible says, and Elizabeth was barren, and they had not had any children. And so God was going to miraculously intervene.

And I personally believe that night when he went home on July 31st, his wife conceived and she became pregnant. We learn at the end of the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy that the angel goes to Nazareth and tells Mary that she is pregnant. It says in verse 26 in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God under the city of Galilee called Nazareth. To a virgin, his spouse to a man, his name was Joseph of the house of David and the virgin’s name was Mary.

And here the angel tells Mary that she is pregnant. So now we have the answer. Jesus was a full term baby. The Bible tells us she carried him a full nine months. And so we have the answer. So if Elizabeth conceives the mother of John the Baptist, Zacharizes wife, conceives on July 31st, then you have six months plus Mary now becoming pregnant and carrying Jesus a full nine months, six plus nine is fifteen months. So that’s it, fifteen months from July 31st.

The easy way to do that is just take that fifteen months and go one year. That’ll take you to the next July 31st and you’ve got three more months to go. What are they? August, September, and you got it. October and October 31st would be exactly fifteen months after July 31st. I believe that’s probably the true birthday of Christ. You say, well, that’s Halloween. Oh, my goodness. Well, guess what? Satan hates Christ, and doesn’t it seem reasonable that he would try to steal the glory away from the Savior and take that day to make it his own?

And he’s done that. He’s been quite successful. Halloween is known as a celebration of witches and witchcraft and Satan and goblins and everything associated with the opposite side of the fence from God. And so that’s probably the real birthday of Jesus. Well, I don’t know about you. I’m going to celebrate twice. I know we have planned this coming Sunday, a big birthday cake for all the children here. They’ll all sing Happy Birthday to Jesus as we talk about His birth.

And maybe you didn’t know this before, and maybe that might influence you, maybe to celebrate the birthday of Christ in October as well as in December. I don’t think we’ll ever get rid of the December 25 date. It’s too locked into the world. You know, it’s a great opportunity in December to tell people about Jesus and who He is. But the real birth date you just heard it is probably October 31st. So again, Zacharias served in the course of Abiyya.

That was the eighth two-week course from the beginning of the year. That puts it the last two weeks of July. July 31st, he goes home. The angel said that his wife would become pregnant. I believe she could see that very night. So we know now how to figure this out. six months along, the angel goes now to Nazareth and tells Mary she’s pregnant. She carries Jesus a full nine months, a full term baby. And so six plus nine is fifteen months from July 31st.

That’s probably the birth date of Christ. And so six plus nine is fifteen months. 15 minutes from July 31st is August is rather October 31st. That is probably the real birthday of Christ. Anyway, you heard it here on Bible and Dr. Hank Lindstrom and I always was curious could you really figure out when Christ was born. And after many, many years, this turned out to be the best answer from the scriptures that we have. Well, we’re going to go to the phone lines and I hope that you’re topping that number down.

I’m going to give it out again here. 1-800-576-3760. 7-1 and we’re going to talk to Elizabeth in Largo. Elizabeth, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the year. Hi, sorry, let me turn my radio off. I have actually two questions. The first and most important is someone I’m trying to lead to Christ. He’s asking about the remote culture who never get the chance to hear about Christ. He doesn’t believe that God would make that rule that you have to believe in Christ to get into heaven and then have people who never hear about Christ.

So he’s saying that. Sure, that’s a great question. Now, do you have internet access? Yes, I do. You can go to BibleLineMinistries.org, click on my articles, Dr. Lindstrom’s articles, to have one called What about the Heaven?” which answers this question and you can print that out and share that with him. But basically the Bible says that every individual on the earth is responsible. God first plants a knowledge that He exists in them. They may not know about Christ, but they know that there is a God and they become responsible to seek Him.

Jeremiah 29, 13 says, you shall seek me and find me when you shall search with all your heart. So I don’t care where you live. If you want to find the true and living God, God will bring the message to you. In the book of Job it says, God will keep you alive through battle, through war, through disease until a messenger arrives to bring you the message of salvation so that you can be saved. And obviously if you don’t seek, then God is not obligated to bring the message to you.

But that is something that is supported throughout the Bible. You have in Acts chapter 8, a man that was searching. He was from Africa. He was from Ethiopia. And God led Philip over to his chariot and Philip led him to Christ. In Acts chapter 10, you have a Roman soldier doing duty in Israel and Caesarea. He is searching and God connects him up with Peter and Peter leads him and his household through Christ. You see example after example and in my own personal life.

I have people where I lived previously where we live now. I led people to Christ from all over the world. I had a neighbor immigrated from Russia. He and his wife led him to Christ. We also had neighbors that came from Africa and from South America that wound up living close and we were able to lead them to Christ and I didn’t have to go anywhere. And I’ve been in other countries and have led people to Christ that God brings across my path.

I think that if you’re a witnessing Christian that God will bring people across your path that you might lead to Christ. In fact, I was interested yesterday about how many people were actually in my worship service yesterday born in other countries and we had twelve countries represented in my morning worship service. I believe God is doing that to reach those people’s relatives back in those countries as they can communicate with them and visit them and email them and get them to watch Bibleline or listen to Bibleline on their internet back in that country.

I wanted to get at the door. She says I was born and raised in Brazil. Here she is now attending my church. So I think God definitely gets the message to anybody who wants to hear it. And I love that Jeremiah 2913, you shall seek me and find me when you shall search me with all your heart. Okay. My second question is very, very quick. What version of the Bible do you recommend? Because I’ve heard you talk about how there are so many versions that are not good.

Which one do you recommend? Well I still use the King James, I don’t believe that it’s perfect, but it’s written actually at a fifth or sixth grade level. The only snag people have is with these endows, but I find I lead people to Christ all the time with a couple of months hearing, teaching from the King James the these endows, this appears no problem at all. So I recommend the Old Schofield Reference Bible, King James edition, which has those excellent notes that help you with some words maybe that are archaic today but they’re not very many and they’re usually right there resolved for you in your margin.

Okay. All right. Well, thank you very much. Thank you, Elizabeth. That was Elizabeth in Largo, Florida. We have now Mike in St. Petersburg, Florida. Mike, welcome to Bibleline You’re On The Year. Hey, Dr. Hank, thanks for taking my call. My question is about the course of a B.F. that you were just going over. I’m trying to understand how you get to the Bible. It explains that up in a two week period like that. Well, it’s in 1st Chronicles chapter 24.

You can read the chapter. I didn’t want to do that on the earth. It’s kind of boring. But it basically lays it all out and names the courses and how it’s divided into 24 courses. Okay, 1st Chronicles chapter 24. 24. And the number 24 becomes a number of complete representation. You’ll notice in Revelation you have 24 thrones about the throne of God, which apparently are perhaps the twelve patriarchs of the Old Testament and the twelve apostles that make up that twenty-four which give us complete representation of the Old Testament and New Testament saints.

So that number twenty-four is a significant number through the Bible that way. Okay, so and when you say the, where is my mantra on that? No, that’s right. just to take your calendar and kind of go on two week periods and that would be the middle of July till the end of July. Okay so not from January 1st but for us. No no we’re not going by the R calendar we’re going by the the Jewish calendar and the first month of their year was when they came out of Egypt in the spring at the time of the Passover.

You know what time of the year we celebrate the Passover it’s usually in March or April and March is probably and you go eight two week periods from there and it takes you to mid-July to the end of July. Okay, now I understand that because I was trying to explain that to my father the other day and he totally got lost and so was I at that point. I got you. Well, I’m glad you brought that up because maybe others were confused also and maybe we cleared it up for everyone.

Yeah, and I appreciate you taking my call like that. You’re welcome. I love your show and you have yourself a great day. Thank you. Mike in St. Petersburg. A lot of people have left off their questions. We’ll try to get to as many of those as we can. And you’re welcome to call in and leave an off their question or actually be live with us. By the way, we’re planning to go to Israel. That’s right. We’ll leave March 12th.

A Monday come back March 23rd of Friday and it’ll be trip number 14 for me. We’re going to have a wonderful time. We’ll be baptizing in the Jordan River. be seeing of course the hill of Calvary, the Tomb of Christ and so many things that you read about in the Bible and will be studying the Bible on the spot all day long every day. It will be wonderful. I hope you will plan to go with me. All that information you can call and have it sent to you or you can go to my website Bibleline Ministries and click on Bibleline News and you will be able to pull up all information about the trip and a sign-up sheet.

We need to get a $100 deposit right away so that we can start booking your flights and booking your hotels. So please make up your mind soon and then we can deal with the rest later. 90 days out from the trip departure, we need half of your money and then 45 days out from the trip departure we would need the balance all paid off but That’s all described here. If you go to my website and look up Bibleline news on the home page and you can download the entire itinerary and the information you need to know.

Okay, we have John in Tampa, Florida and he says, why are there animal sacrifices during the tribulation If God has equipped 140,000 to preach the gospel, great question. The answer is that the tribulation period is really the last seven years of the Old Testament that still has to take off the clock. God when Christ was rejected in a sense stopped the clock for Israel and put it on pause and now has turned to the Gentiles for the past two thousand years.

And as soon as the Rapture happens, and the Church Age comes to a conclusion, then the last seven years of the Old Testament will tick off the clock, and it will be as though We didn’t even exist. The Jews, obviously, are back in the state of Israel right now in anticipation of this. And so we’ll be back on Jewish territory. The temple will be rebuilt. Blood sacrifices will be offered again. 144,000 Jewish witnesses will be the witnesses. Two Old Testament prophets will come back on the world scene.

Moses and Elijah. It is all Jewish territory as God prepares the Jews to receive their king. Christ will come back and set up his kingdom. He will be king of the Jews and king of kings and Lord of lords and rule over the whole earth and bring peace on earth. I hope that helps. We have to go to break here in just a second. Keep your radio dial tuned right where it is. We are going to do Bible and Part 2 in just a couple of minutes.

Hold on. Don’t go away. I’ll be right back. Don’t go away. Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Well, I’m Dr. Englund. It’s great to be with you and we enjoy being with you every day and we’ll be with you all week long, Lord willing, Monday through Friday. We hope that you’ll tune us in each and every day. Hope you enjoy the teachings of Bibleline. You can go back and listen to this program again and again by going to the internet.

That’s right, good. Bibleinemindustries.org. Actually, we have thousands and thousands of listeners on the internet and we have countries 146 now from all over the world that have logged on to our website. You might want to take a look and you can catch our television programs and our radio programs being streamed there 24 hours a day, you can listen or watch them at your leisure. Take a look, Bibleline ministries, and yesterday we, for the first time successfully streamed our worship service and if you were able to tune in at 11 we had a lot of homes tuning into our worship service yesterday and we know that that number will grow and you can go during the week into the archives of that and watch our morning worship service the message that I deliver here from the church that I pastor Calvary Community Church.

So keep that in mind. We’re going to Israel. We’d love to have you go. You can call for information or look up Bibleline news on the website and pull up all the information you need including the itinerary and the sign up sheet and we hope that you’ll take advantage of that. Also we’re listeners supported. We sure could use your help if you would pray for us. We’d really appreciate it. And also if you could give a gift to Bible and it would carry us through.

We have to pay bills. We don’t pay any salaries. I don’t get a salary nor does our staff. We have two men here right now taking the calls and making Bible and work. But they are volunteers. And we just try to take all of our monies and throw it right back into getting the message out to the world. We believe that time is running out. Price is coming back. And we’ve had some wonderful conversations with people this past week that have told us what a blessing Bibleline has been.

A pastor came by and said, I want to thank you and I’ll ever be grateful for you showing me how that I could never lose my salvation. So apparently he had been taught wrong, but Bibleline helped him be taught right. He says, I had never said well in my gut, but he said, now that I’ve listened to Bible line, I am on your side as far as eternal salvation being God’s gift. Isn’t that wonderful? We hear lots of reports like that where people are obviously learning and growing, and we appreciate that.

Pray for us and call us if you want to help us out. Stay tuned, we’re going to do Bible in Part 2. Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Well, we’re back for that break. This is Bibleline. We start tomorrow night at 7 o’clock, Tuesday nights for five weeks beginning tomorrow night. We’ll be teaching a class called 10 Vital doctrines of the Bible. You know, the foundation of the Christian, of course, is Christ.

the living word, but also the written word is our foundation. What a firm foundation God has laid for us as the hymn writer wrote. As believers, if you don’t have your foundation right, you really can’t function well as a Christian. Whatever your building really won’t hold together as it should. We need to have the vital doctrines of the Bible clearly understood. And we’ll be teaching those beginning tomorrow night and you can take those classes with me live and review them as often as you want by signing up and taking them over to the internet.

You can call right now several this morning. You have called in to sign up to take the class 10 vital doctrines that begins Tuesday tomorrow night from 7 to 9 for 5 weeks. We also have the previous classes available on CD and this previous class, the one we just finished, called Meeting the Challenge we have on DVD and CD and it really turned out good. I know you’ll really enjoy that. By the way, we’re leaving for Israel March 12th, coming back on a Friday, March 23rd, leaving on a Monday, coming back on a Friday.

Twelve days, all in Israel will have a wonderful time teaching and learning the Bible on location. We’re at all happened and this will be trip number 14 for me. I’d love to have you go with me. I hope you’ll join me for this wonderful trip. You can go to my website, click on Bible and News and pull down the full itinerary and sign up sheet and we need a hundred dollar deposit to get things going for you and you can call and leave that deposit by credit card over the phone and or you can fill out the forms and just mail it in with your check, but we need to get started because time will evaporate if we’re not careful.

So quickly, if you would, please sign up as quickly as you can. I’d love to have you on the trip with me. We’ll have a great time. One lady yesterday said that she and her husband might surprise their college age boys with a trip to Israel with me in March. That’ll be great. And maybe you want to send somebody else as this family wanted to send their children who are right now at college age. It’s exciting and we hope that you will make plans to go with me.

It’s going to be here before you know it. In any case, we’re going to go back and take some offer questions and then some honor questions. We have a bind in Inglewood, Florida calls in, off air leaves this question. Since God has named the Jews as His chosen people, some Gentiles are concerned that they are not as loved by the Lord as the Jews are. Please explain as we listen by internet. Okay, done in Inglewood, Florida. Well obviously if you read John 3 16 it says for God so loved the world.

The word world there means mankind. So God loves everyone in the human race and he loves them equally and there is no difference. Once you become a believer, the Bible says there is no difference between Jew and Gentile. We are seen on equal footing and that we are equally members of God’s family and are born again the same way by trusting Jesus as our Savior. And that I think is perhaps comforting if you think that you’re being slided in some way.

But here’s what’s going to be helpful by and that is the Jewish people were chosen for an earthly purpose. God chose the Jews to bring us the Bible and they did. The prophets wrote the Old Testament and the apostles, all Jewish, The Jewish people had been to give us the word of God. Secondly, the Jewish people were to bring us the Messiah. They were chosen to bring about the Messiah. Jesus came and was born of Jewish flesh. That’s right.

He was born and he came out of the tribe of Judah. And at his second coming, he will be called the Lion of the tribe of Judah as he comes back as king to rule over the earth. He came in his first coming as the Lamb of God that would be slain to pay for the sins of the world. And so God loves the Jews and God loves the believer. Let me give you one more verse and I hope you’ll write this one down.

This is a good one. In Romans 10 in verse 12 it says, for there is no difference. Let me read that again. For there is no difference. I’ll read it a third time. There is no difference between the Jew and the Gentile. For the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. We can’t beat that one. Romans 10, 12. I hope mine that helps. And thanks for calling in today from Englewood, Florida, listening down there by internet.

We have Betty in Citrus County, Florida. Welcome to Bibleline you’re on the earth Betty are you there? Yes, I’m here. All right. This is These are your two sponges listening to every morning just stopping up everything you’re teaching I just wanted to add two more points to what you’re teaching about when the Christ was actually born and I thank you for teaching from that particular angle you know in Luke it says that that Christ was moved to a stable following his birth.

And over in Genesis 30, and that’s called, in Genesis 33 17, says in Jacob’s journey to circa, and built him a house and made booze for his cattle. Therefore the name of the place is called circa. So actually, because the place was so crowded, because of the festivals, there was no room in the inn. So this is where Jesus was born actually. And then also in the Gospel of John, chapter one verse 14, as you know it says, in the word was made flesh and dwelt among us.

In the Greek the word dwelt is scaene, but it’s a borrowed word from the Hebrew, which is shakran. And that word actually means to tabernacle. So as you and I agree that Christ has fulfilled the first four Levitical festivals, he will in fact fulfill the last, very last three of the seven, exactly to the day and the time. And I just wanted to draw the audience’s attention to that. And we do thank you so much for teaching these really great in-depth Bible studies, brother.

Okay, thank you, Betty, so very very much for calling in and sharing it was actually she’s saying that John gives us a subtle hint there in John’s gospel chapter 1 verse 14 that the word which is God In Genesis rather in John 1 1 says in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God That’s a reference to Christ and then the word was made flesh verse 14 and dwelt Among us that word really means to tabernacle and it might be a subtle hint, John is letting us know that Jesus was born on the Feast of Tabernacles which always occurs in October and slides back and forth with the lunar calendar and could have fallen, as we talked about earlier on October 31st, the possible real birthday of Jesus Christ.

Thank you for calling in, Betty. We now have Vinny in Hudson, Florida. He’s an all-fair question for us. He says, do you believe that the gospel message has been spread around the world? The whole world, and if not, do you think Christ is waiting to return until this has been done? Well, I think the gospel has been heard around the world, and certainly there are hardly any nooks and crannies that haven’t heard it. Today you can go to these remote areas and you see TV antennas and people have their radios and even now cell phones.

In amazing where these cell phones have gotten. The word gets out. But you may be thinking about Matthew 24 where Jesus said, this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached into all the world for a witness and then the end shall come. That is actually going to be fulfilled very after the Rapture during the Tribulation period. In Matthew 24, he’s talking about the Gospel of the Kingdom, which really isn’t being preached right now. That’s the good news about the Kingdom.

The message of salvation is called the Gospel of the Grace of God. And you’ll find in Acts chapter 20 Paul talks about how that his ministry was and ours as well is to proclaim that gospel of the grace of God, how they were saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and his finished work at the cross. But the gospel of the kingdom was a unique message preached at the early times of Christ’s ministry when he was here the first time, but was rejected.

It was basically saying the king is here and should he be received, the kingdom would have been established, but Christ was rejected and the kingdom was postponed, it will still happen when Christ comes the second time. And after the rapture, during the tribulation period, that kingdom message will be preached again, and the king will be received by a remnant, a large number of Jewish people that will come to know Jesus as their Savior, and Christ will come back as their king, and they will become his subjects, and Christ will establish a thousand-year earthly reign of Christ.

So there is nothing withholding the rapture, except God knows exactly when it is going to be and we don’t, but it could happen anytime. And I am looking for Christ to return to snatch us out. But then seven years will take off the clock, which are the last years of the Old Testament Age of Law. And it is during that time that this Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world, And then the end of the tribulation period will come, Christ will return, and every eye will see Him and they will establish His Kingdom here on the earth.

Vinnie, thank you for that call from Hudson, Florida, leaving that off air question with us today. Again, we want to remind you I will start a new series of classes tomorrow night, and I’d love to have you join me for class. If you’re in driving distance you can come and we’ll be meeting from 7 to 9, 2 class hours and that’ll happen for 5 weeks or 10 hours total. Now I’ve done about 40 of these over the years and most of them are available on CD for you.

I love the series we did on the book of Jude, on the book of Romans, on the book of Hebrews. We did that last year and what a wonderful series that was. We’ve also done a series here called Meeting the Challenge. We just finished that all about the Christian life from all parts of the Bible and the challenge that God has left to every one of us. As God said to Isaiah, Who will go for me? And Isaiah said, Here are my Lord, Send me.

God wants to use people just like you and me. The Bible says in 2 Chronicles that is I, is running to and fro throughout all the earth to show himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is sincere or upright toward him. So God is looking for people and it might be you that he would greatly use if you are truly sincere about living for Christ. God can do great and mighty things through your life. This is a great class.

We’d like to have you get that and study from it. It’s available on CV and on DVD. That’s audio and video. And you’ll be able to listen and watch them as often as you like. You can order them by calling our operator. And that you might call and order a, ask for a resource sheet. We’ll send that out free and it’ll list all of the different materials, books, bibles and teachings that I have available for you. We also have one particular CD that has been so successful in leading people to Christ called how permanent is your salvation.

If you have a relative, a loved one, that is not saved and you can somehow get them to listen to this CD, the chances are very great that they’ll come to know Christ. We just see this all the time. I was just talking to a listener this weekend from just south of Tampa and he said that he uses these CDs, he gets them from our Resource Center all the time and he says they are really I’m really bearing fruit for him as he witnesses to people.

My sister in Ohio just ordered 10 more of them and I talked to her last night and she’s already distributed them to people that they’ve been trying to target and when to Christ. I said please don’t fail to call me with the results. When you hear what feedback you get from those who hear the CD, how permanent is your salvation. These things are working and people are getting saved. I also have written a brand new track that is like the other track we have on How to Go to Heaven.

But this one has 20 questions instead of 18 and it’s all different. Things that are contemporary terms used by most preachers and evangelists that are wrong are there in the quiz like put Christ on the throne of your life. Give your heart to Jesus and invite Christ into your heart. Put Christ on the throne of your life. Turn from your sin. repent of sin. And on and on it goes twenty of them. And most people, I find, check those.

And we have the answers inside why all of them are wrong. All of them are wrong. There’s only one way to be saved. And that’s to trust Jesus Christ as your Savior. These tracks not only bring lost people to salvation, but bring clarity to the message of the gospel when somebody is confronted with the fact these are wrong. And it’s just done in such an interesting and simple way that you’ll be able to really aid other Christians if they are saved when you give them this tract.

And it’s an alternative so that you have two tracks that can be used. One that we normally have made available to you will still be available. But I recommend to use that with the unchurched person. and this new track which has a different color cover uh… to use it with church people and it really hits uh… with all the things that they are being bombarded with today which are not the gospel the gospel is to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved so uh…

keep that in mind it says uh… here and uh… hope that you will uh… Call in with your off-air question. The number is 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. And we’ll try to take your question off-air or on-air. I’m going to go to Bill in Richmond, Virginia. He calls in with this question, since God is the creator of all things and is sovereign overall. Why would he allow Satan to continue to exist and create more evil. Why does it take Satan out?

The answer to that is that he doesn’t create more evil. Satan is really the author of evil and he’s the one that brought sin into the universe. When he tempted Adam and Eve, then Adam becomes responsible for bringing sin upon the human race. But he really just can’t take Satan out because God has given Satan the position of God of this world. And although he’s fallen and judged, he is here and will continue to be here until Christ’s second coming.

At the first coming, God defeated Christ at the cross. At the Second Coming, Christ will take away this world from Satan and the kingdoms of this world then become the kingdoms of our Lord and of his Christ. The whole plan is outlined in Genesis 3.15. There God told Satan that the seed of the woman, which is a reference to Christ, probably availed reference to the virgin birth of Christ, that Christ would come of a woman without a man. and Jesus was virgin born and we know that it says there that he would actually be the one that would bruise the head of Satan when Christ comes back at his second coming.

But it also says Satan would bruise the heel of Christ and that refers to the first coming. So when Christ was crucified his heel was bruised as is the case with everybody being crucified because they have to push up on their heel to catch their every breath. When you’re being crucified you can exhale but you can’t inhale. Unless you push up on your heel and catch your next breath. It is a veiled reference to the crucifixion. Way back there in Genesis 3.15.

Can you imagine? Obviously the only death we know of where the heel of the victim or is bruised is crucifixion. Wow, isn’t God amazing? He lets us know about the two comies of Christ all the way back there in Genesis 3.15 and how that Christ would be crucified and how the Christ would then come back in a second. coming and take Satan out or Bruce the head of Satan which will happen at Jesus Second Coming. Thank you Bill up there in Richmond, Virginia.

Nina in Mary, Arizona says, please explain the phrase the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven. The Kingdom of God is a reference to all that is under God’s authority which is the whole universe. is a very broad expression. The Kingdom of Heaven is a reference just to the Millennial Kingdom and the things associated with it. That phrase, Kingdom of Heaven, should probably better read the Kingdom of the Heavens. It is a reference when Christ will be ruling on the earth and the Heavens will rule over the earth.

As it says in the Lord’s Prayer, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. That is the kingdom that you pray for in that Lord’s Fair, thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. That hasn’t happened yet, but during the Thousand-year rate of Christ, God’s will will be done on earth exactly as it’s done in heaven. The whole earth will be at peace. And so the kingdom of heaven is a limited phrase referring to the thousand year reign of Christ, the Kingdom of God is all encompassing of all of history past, present, and future and all that is under God’s authority.

All right we have Donon in Bradenton Florida and she says do you read Jewish handbooks? Please give your input. Jewish handbooks, I imagine you’re talking about Jewish prayer books perhaps. I have several Jewish handbooks, I don’t know what you’re referring to, but the Jewish prayer book is very fascinating. Obviously the Jews have blinders over their eyes because there’s all kinds of references there to Christ, but they seem to miss them. And the Jewish people pray those prayers, but I think just like many times Gentiles too, pray prayers without much giving much thought to the words that they’re praying.

And they’re very fascinating, but there’s no book like the Word of God. And that’s where I would recommend that you focus all of your attention, that is to the Scriptures because they are inspired. They can bring life to somebody who is lost. So glad you’ve tuned in today. We’re getting really right at the very end of the program. If you’re listening and you’re not sure about where you would spend eternity, let me encourage you right now to just say, Lord, I am a sinner.

We all are. But Lord, I trust Jesus Christ right now as my Savior, as the one who died, one who died and shed his blood to pay for my sins was buried and rose again from the dead. The moment you trust him, God saves you. And maybe the Lord has had you find this program that you might come to know Christ. I know that so many have told me I was listening to my blind and that’s how I came to know the Lord is my Savior.

And we’re just so grateful that God has blessed and allowed us to be that instrument to bring this message to you. And so maybe right now you might be in your car, your home, or who knows where. But if you’re hearing this program right now, if you haven’t trusted Christ, just tell Him right now, Lord, I am a sinner. We all are. But I trust Jesus Christ as my only hope, my only means of reaching heaven. I trust that Jesus died and shed his blood so that I can be forgiven and I can receive the gift of everlasting life.

Then, my friend, you need to make a second decision and that is to serve the Lord. That’s where blessings come in. You don’t serve the Lord to be saved. If you’d never serve the Lord a single day, you’d still be saved because it’s a gift. And salvation is not dependent upon our works or our response. But if you want to be happy, if you want to see God’s blessings, if you want to have rewards in heaven, then definitely you want to choose to live for Christ now that you’re saved.

And obviously that’s… We certainly hope that you’ll take advantage of our website. We have that website so you can catch our radio programs again and again. You can also watch our television programs. You can do many things. Keep looking up. We’ve got a run. Jesus is coming and we believe very soon.
