Those in Richmond, Virginia and surrounding areas and those in Tennessee were on in Memphis, were on in Nashville, were on in Chattanooga and we are also in numerous other places. It’s exciting to see how God has opened up great doors for us and the internet though of course is a wonderful tool because you can go anytime, day or night and listen to Bible Life. So hopefully you’ll take advantage of the Bible and the Bible for a few minutes.

Then we’ll go ahead and take our callers. You can call in at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. We have a number of all fair questions today. We’ll try to get to those as well as the live callers who call in. Go ahead and call in and that number again is 1-800-576-3771. Give your Bible their turn, if you will, to the Gospel of John. We have in John’s Gospel the fact that Christ was crucified and we believe on Wednesday, Friday and we know that because he was crucified on the preparation of the Passover and the Passover we believe the week of the crucifixion was on Thursday and that means that Christ was crucified on Wednesday the error which I call the Good Friday myth because it really wasn’t good Friday it was good Wednesday, it says in verse 14 of John 19, it was the preparation of the

Passover about the sixth hour. And they said unto the Jews, Behold your King. That was on Wednesday morning at 6am that Jesus stood before Pilate. The sixth hour, and this is Roman time, was 6am in the morning. And we find that it was there that the crowd demanded that Christ be crucified, and then by nine o’clock he was nailed to the cross, and he was on the cross a full six hours till three in the afternoon. And we know at three in the afternoon he died, and it was when he gave up his life to pay for your sins and mine.

It tells us in verse 31 of John 19, the Jews therefore, because it was the preparation that That was the day prior to the Passover. It says that the body should not remain upon the cross on the Sabbath day. Now here’s where the mistake comes in because they read the Sabbath day and most people in their minds lock up and they think, Saturday, Saturday, Saturday and normally the Sabbath is on Saturday. But all the feast days that God gave to Israel, you’ll find seven major feast days that God gave to Israel all listed for you in one chapter in Leviticus 23 in your Old Testament.

And each one of those feast days were also considered a Sabbath even if they didn’t fall on Saturday. And the Passover was the first of those and guess what? It was considered a Sabbath and it fell on Thursday of the crucifixion week. And so when it says here, because they didn’t want the bodies to remain upon the cross on the Sabbath day, what most people fail to read is the next part where it says, for that Sabbath day was a high day.

In other words, it was one of the high holy days of Israel, which meant it was one of the feast days which were all considered a Sabbath. So you You had Thursday being a Sabbath and on Wednesday… By the way, Wednesday at sundown began the Passover as the Jewish day is counted from sundown to sundown. We have at 6 o’clock Wednesday the Passover beginning. They needed to get the bodies down. They actually murdered Christ, but now they want to be religious and didn’t want their Sabbath day.

Their Passover be filed. So they wanted to get the body down off the cross. So it says they’d be sought pilot, but the legs might be broken, that they might be taken away. You know, when a person is crucified, they actually die of suffocation. They have to push their full body weight up on the two feet that are spiked together in order to catch every breath. It’s very painful. You can imagine what that must be like, where the spike goes through the two feet, dule and they have to push their body weight up for each breath.

When you’re suspended with your arms out stretched like that, you can exhale, but you can’t inhale. To be able to inhale, you’d have to push up. You could fill your lungs with air, drop down and slump, and then exhale. And every breath was just so painful. And when you finally became exhausted and you couldn’t push up anymore, you died of suffocation. Well, in order to speed up crucifixion, what they would do is they’d send the soldiers out with a plank or a board like a baseball bat and they would swing that against their legs around the knees and the legs would break and then all of a sudden they would just slump.

They couldn’t push up anymore. Their legs were broken and they would suffocate and die. Well, when the soldiers came out to the three on the crosses there, they found that Jesus was already dead. You have to remember that he had been up all night the night before. He had been scourged. He had been beaten. And all the other things he went through before they ever nailed him to the cross. So scourging in itself was enough to kill a man.

And yet Christ was still very much alive. But he died before the two thieves. Then they came over and broke the legs of the first thief and the other thief. And then they died. And then of course they wanted to get the bodies down. But notice it says here in verse 33, when they came to Jesus and saw that he was dead already, they didn’t break his legs. But rather they went over and broke the legs of the two thieves so that they would then follow in death.

And then we find the Bible says here that the scripture was fulfilled then that they would not break one bone in the Messiah’s body, back in the Psalms. It said that not a bone in Christ’s body would be broken. think what had happened if that soldier had swung that bat at Christ and broken Christ’s legs. Scripture would have been broken. Jesus tells us earlier in John that the Scriptures cannot be broken. In other words, everything that God has said is going to happen, everything that God has said is going to take place and you can count on it.

So Christ actually died on the preparation of the Passover and you can figure this out. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist. If you can count to three, I think you got the whole answer here. You can count backward, I’m sure, three, two, one, zero. We know the day that Christ rose with Sunday, and there’s no possible way you can get three days and three nights between Friday and Sunday. Jesus said plainly in Matthew 1240 that he’d be three days and three nights.

exactly 72 hours between his death in burial and resurrection to be 72 hours, he’d be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. Well, Christ was placed in the grave at sundown. They took the bodies off the cross at three. They had a very short period of time to take the body and prepare it for burial and get it in the tomb, get it sealed by six o’clock. And if he was placed in the grave at sundown, in these in the grave 72 hours he has to come out of the grave at sundown.

And so we believe that Christ on Wednesday at 6 p.m. He died at 3 o’clock on Wednesday. He had come before Pilate at 6 a.m. on Wednesday. The preparation day of the Passover. Christ died exactly when the Lamb and Israel was being offered up because we know that that Lamb was to be slain in the evening of the Passover. And by the way, because the way the Jews people count their day from sundown to sundown, evening was the preceding afternoon because the night period comes first.

So Wednesday night, our Wednesday night really began to pass over at 6 p.m. and so the evening of the Passover was the preceding afternoon or Wednesday and it began at 3 o’clock and that’s exactly when Christ died. So Christ we believe came out of the grave three days later or Saturday at sundown which was really the beginning of the first day of the week. It’s a fascinating study. I have a crucifixion chart. You’re welcome to call and we’ll send it to you free of charge, which outlays the whole week from Palm Sunday to Resurrection Sunday and the Scriptures and what happened each day and it really makes it very clear and you’re welcome to take a look at that.

But the the interesting thing is is that sometimes people get it wrong. We get stuck with tradition and Christ really was not crucified on Friday. It’s clear he was crucified on the preparation of the Passover, which was a Sabbath. And the whole mistake came out of John 1931, where it says that they didn’t want the body to remain on the cross on the Sabbath day. That was not Saturday it was talking about. It was talking about the Passover Thursday of that week.

I’m Dr. Englunds from Mrs. Bibleline. The most important thing though is you get the gospel right. Most people don’t get that right. The Bible says there’s only one condition for you to meet to be saved and that is to believe the word means to trust Trust on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved But when you when you trust Christ That he died and shed his butt and paid for your sins was buried and rose again from God save you We’re going to go to the phone lines We’ve got them all lit up here and lots of all fair questions, so we’ll do the best we can we have Glenn and he’s waiting in Brandon Florida and Glenn welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air Good morning, Pastor.

Good morning. And you know, Pastor, I listened to you this morning, and I just need to tell you that’s why I listened to you, and that’s why I believe what you say is the truth of the gospel because there’s a few people that really, really study the Bible and you look into each word, and It’s not that I think I’m so smart that I think that you’re, you know, that I’m right because I think you’re right. It’s the fact that you back everything up.

And I know there’s a lot of great creatures that do all through the thing, but I think you go the extra step and I just want to, anybody who’s listening, they really need to think about what you just said about, you know, I know it’s important, but it’s not the most important thing in the Bible, but I don’t want to say questions. And there’s people on the fence, they really need to continue to listen to Pastor Hank Lynch from.

But my question is, from time to time, I watch this particular pastor on the TV. He comes on it’s fix, and it’s just something that he comes up with some good stuff, but there’s one particular subject that he just pooh-poo’s to no end, and I’m hoping some and you can really understand. But it’s the Rapture. It’s the Shepherd’s Chapel, the Pastor Murray, I know you know of them. In him and his son, they come up with this explanation. It just doesn’t make any sense to me.

And they just poop with it. And they don’t think there’s any type of Rapture or post-Rapture or pre-Rapture. And why do you think that it’ll hang up and I’ll listen to Pastor? All right. Well, Glenn, the answer is that a lot of these people come to the Bible with their beliefs already set. Many have the non-racial views or other views that they’re holding on to. A lot of people are looking over their shoulders, going back to the time of the Reformation and embracing the beliefs of the Reformers and letting that be their standard instead of the Bible.

Then they try to read those views into the Bible and make them happen. Obviously, it just doesn’t fit. It’s like putting a square peg in a round hole, we really need to go to the Bible, forget everything else and check out what you believe against the Scriptures because they are the authority. It says in 2 Timothy 3 16, all Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction, and righteousness that the man of God might be completely furnished unto all good works.

So this is the book that can make us mature and bring us through our Christian life. And you know that verse, it’s interesting where it’s played strategically in a chapter there that talks about the last days of the church. And we’re in the last days of the church. It describes quite well about 20 things that tell you what we’re looking at in these last days of the church. And it’s wow, it’s just like saying, how can this be? How accurate it is.

And it says when we’re in these difficult perilous times of the last days, we need to be reminded to continue in the Scriptures which it says there are inspired of God. So we believe that we have the infallible record, the Word of God, and that’s the book that we need to go to as we have questions. And Glenn, that’s what people are not doing. So when they deny the rapture and the tribulation and the literal reign of Christ on the earth as he comes into his second coming, and they tell you that you can lose your salvation and all these other things, obviously they’re not paying attention to the Bible.

They’re coming and forcing their view upon the Bible and it just doesn’t fit. We have David now in Sun City Center and David welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Yes. Good morning. Hello. You’re on the air. Don’t listen to your radio because it’s a good thing. I sure do. Okay, this passenger hand. It is. We’re on the air. A passenger hand on this Rapture. I understand on the Rapture thought-up series that’s been out in Ambulary as we left behind, taking the one left behind.

That’s the second. We’re in that scripture about that. 24 verse 40 and 41 talks about two in the field and is talking about not the rapture but the second coming and they’re the ones taken are taken in judgment and killed and the ones that are left are left to live in that thousand year end of Christ. So seven years earlier the rapture takes the believers out leaves the unbeliever behind but at the end of the seven years it is the unbeliever that’s taken in judgment and killed only believers are left to live into the thousand year end of Christ.

Numerous verses support that everywhere you look, but it’s amazing how people are sloppy in their reading of the Bible and they just miss it and they just assume that’s the rapture when it’s not. And as a result, in the context, we know it says in verse 29 there of Matthew 24 that all this happens immediately after the tribulation. So that’s why you have people that say that we have to go through the tribulation and that the tribulation occurs first and then the rapture is post-tribulation and that’s the post-tribulation rapture view and it’s wrong.

It’s just not good scholarship. So then the ones that are taken, are they taken and taken to hell? Is that the ones that are taken out? Yeah, their venture will go to hell. They first go to Hades, but yeah they’re all slain. Hades, okay they go to Hades. Right. So then when you get into the millennium And then, is there people that have one nature in the millennium and others that have two natures? Or those that have died and come back again only have one nature?

Well what happens is, what happens is that at the second coming, we’ll come back in our resurrection bodies and rule and reign with Christ. But the ones that enter that are the actual subjects are still in their mortal bodies and haven’t died. But it begins with all believers. They’ll have children, they’ll marry and have children, they’ll have children. And so you’ll have people born that need to get saved by the time the millennium is over. We find that apparently there are millions that have not trusted Christ, even though he’s living on the earth visibly, demonstrating his presence, and that they still reject him.

And Satan, when he’s loosed at the end of that thousand years, rounds up his huge crowd as the final evidence of the wickedness of the human heart and how the devil doesn’t have to be blamed for everything that goes wrong, we can say our heart is desperately wicked. The seat to above all things is Jeremiah 79 says. Oh, I say even though Christ is here that they still choose the devil over Christ. That’s right. That’s hard to believe in.

It really is. But it shows again. In other words, there really are two raptures. The rapture for the believers and then the rapture for the unbelievers. Well, I guess you know, it’s not really a rapture because Christ actually physically slays them if you go to 2nd Timothy Around the 2nd thessalonians 1 8 9 it says Christ comes back in at the 2nd coming and flaming fire Taking vengeance on all those that know not God and that do not obey the gospel And they’ll be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the Lord of his power So he comes back and actually slays them And they’re all killed and only the believers are left behind to live into the line Yeah, now the judgment of the nations, does that occur after the, when does that occur?

Right after Armageddon, right at the beginning of the millennium. And then of course the final ones that survive everything else Armageddon and all the place and so on, they’re pointed out to be the goats and he says, depart from me cursed and everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels. So he gets rid of them. but the believers the sheep are left to inherit the kingdom of the thousand year. Okay, but that follows the calls of the time to tell about all of these things that they’re doing against Israel and are making a road and so forth and the troops are all this is predicted in the Bible.

Oh, yeah. I mean, they’re going to be destroyed and where is it? What verse is in Ezekiel? In Ezekiel, all that? they’re going to be destroyed. But so it’s no I’m surprised that this build-up is happening, really. No, I think it’s a real sign that we’re close to the Lord’s return. We’re getting closer by the hour. Thank you, David, for calling in. Thank you. All right, God bless us, David, down in the Sun City Center. South of us here in Tampa.

We have John in Tampa. John, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Yes. Good morning, Dr. Hank. Good morning. You question for you. All right, we have a little time now because we’re coming up on break. So fire one away real quick. First question is, can you explain to me Colossians 115? I’ll give it a try. It’s talking about Christ there being the firstborn, and some people try to say that Joseph, in particular, try to say that Christ then was a creative being, and therefore not God, and it’s really a title of head-chip.

In the Old Testament, like with Jacob and Esau, the firstborn was Esau, but the one who had the title of firstborn was Jacob, because he bought the birthright away from Esau. So the first born doesn’t necessarily have to be the first born, but it’s the title of head shift. That’s what it’s talking about. I hope that helps. We’ve been coming up on our break. Again, don’t forget we’ll be back for another half hour. So don’t go away. And also don’t forget to join our internet and catch these programs again.

And again, stay tuned right where you are and don’t go away. We’ll be right back after this short break and do the second half hour of Bible life. Don’t go away Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Well, I’m Dr. Inkland Striman. I hope you’re having a good time enjoying Bibleline. We’re here every day Monday through Friday coming to you live from Tampa from our studios here at the Calvary Community Church.

Let me invite you to come by if you’re ever in Florida. If you’re ever in our area, you’re welcome to stop by. Welcome to Stop By. We’re right next to the airport, so we’re easy to find and take that extra minute to come by and knock on our door and say hi. Our Resource Center is open every day, till about 4.30 in the afternoon. Also, we have our worship services. You can come by and join us on a Wednesday night or a Sunday morning or Sunday evening.

And of course, the best day to come is on one of those third Sundays. When we have a dinner and you can make it a real occasion where you can come to my adult class at 915, join the worship service at 1030, and then stay for a nice lunch with some of the best home-cooked food in all the world. We invite you to do that. I hope that’ll be something you’ll do. We are excited about being with you every day, and again, we are able to do that because we are listeners supported, and our listeners have obviously kept us on the air.

It’s a miracle of God, really it is. You know, summer is a lean time when most giving is off for churches and Christian ministries and Bible and Stone exception. This is a great time for you to back us up and come to our aid and keep us on the air. So we need your financial help and if you could give a gift, you could do it by credit card over the phone. You can also call and ask us for you to send for us to send an envelope to you with our address on it.

In any case, we want to thank you in advance for your prayers, for your gifts. You certainly make it possible for us to be on the air every day. It’s exciting to hear the stories of people getting saved. We had a bunch of them last week that shared. We had a lot of you call on the phone and she started crying over the phone. She said that she never knew how to go to heaven until she heard Bibleline. Some of these folks are getting up in age and they’ve been in church all their life.

And what’s the sad thing is that it seems like they didn’t get this information where they should have gotten it from their church. And here we come along and we’re able to be a blessing to them and share with them the wonderful gospel message and how they can be assured of going to heaven. Anyway, pray for Bibleline and I hope you’ll continue to tell your friends about it and expand our audience. Take a look at our website. I think you’ll really enjoy that Bible on ministries.org and our TV programs are there, our worship services are there, our radio programs are there and our online bookstores there and just about everything is just a lot of good stuff and we hope that you’ll take advantage.

We’re going to join the stations that have been on break down and do a second half hour of Bible on. So stay tuned or go to the internet catch that second half hour. But here we go. Keep your radio tightly right next to you. Don’t change that now. Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. All right, we’re back for that break and this is Bible and it’s wonderful to be with you.

We’re having a Fun time here bringing Bible and to you at my church for having vacation Bible school and I’ve enjoyed getting my guitar out and playing for the kids and leading them in Horses and then sharing the gospel and we’ve been having kids get saved every day I you know too often it seems like there’s vacation Bible schools and nobody ever gives the gospel and I remember going through those kind of programs when I was a kid and I never found out how to go to heaven.

How wonderful it is at a very young age to have a child come to know Jesus and the joy of knowing that they’re saved and they belong to the Lord and he’ll never lose him, never cast him out, they’re saved for eternity. Anyway, we’re having fun here and it’s good to be with you today and we’re coming to you from Tampa, Florida. And we’re right next to the airport. If you ever come into Florida from wherever you might be listening, we had callers yesterday from Vermont, Massachusetts and Texas and all over the place.

And today we got some from, I think Nova Scotia and so on. So if you ever come in to Florida and come into Tampa, we’re right next to the airport. So we invite you to come by and say hi. Our resource center is open every day Monday through Friday till about 4.30. You can come by on our worship days. We have a prayer meeting tonight. I’ll be teaching about 40 minutes during that prayer service. We do a half hour singing from 6.30 to 7.

I teach the Bible from 7 to 7. 40. Then we take prayer requests and have prayer until 8. Then we all go home. But you’re welcome to come join that or come on a Sunday. And if you come on the third Sunday of the month, we have a dinner. So it makes it a nice day, especially if you’re coming a distance. You can plan to enjoy all the morning activities and then stay for lunch with us and fellowship with us.

On the third Sunday in August, we’re going to have a baptism. So if you have not been water baptized, we would be delighted to have you be baptized here and we’ll motorcade right after that lunch on the third Sunday to a home, a church members home just north of our church where they have a pretty lake in a beautiful yard and we’ll do it outdoors. I love baptisms outdoors. I know we just got back from Israel and baptize people in the Jordan.

I just love that. It’s so difficult. It seems like to be out in the open. You know, there wasn’t a big building over the Jordan River when John the Baptist baptized then. And we believe the outdoor scene is is such more more biblical and meaningful, I think. And so anyway, being baptized is of course something a believer ought to do, but doesn’t bring about salvation. If you don’t have a place to be baptized, you’re welcome to come and make it a weekend and join us for that Sunday and we’ll be baptizing those that want to call in and get yourself on our list and we’ll be happy to do that for you.

We also want you to know that summer’s a lean time and most churches and Christian ministries suffer a decline in giving over the summer. We’re no exception and this would be a great time for you to come up behind us and help us and ensure us up and keep us on the air. Your gifts are absolutely an indispensable part of our ministry and if our listeners didn’t give, we wouldn’t be on the air. We don’t have another source. We don’t have a picky thing.

We don’t have a reserve account. We really don’t have anything but God. And God is supplied through people just like you who care and would like to see this ministry continue in our being blessed by it. So if you would be able to send a gift, would you call and give one by credit card over the phone or call and ask for an envelope to be sent with our address on it? You can send that gift to Bible. I want to thank you in advance.

God bless you. All of you who give the Bible and pray for us. We believe that it is God’s answer to prayer that we’re on the air and it’s your gifts and your investments. And I believe you’re going to share equally with us with whatever rewards we get for this because that’s the way it works in the Bible. You know in the Old Testament when Israel went out to war. A lot of people had to stay home to care for the flocks, the children, and feed the animals and so on.

But you know, when they came back from the war, if they won, the spoils of that war were shared by everybody. Everybody was equally able to share in the spoils of the war. I think that’s exactly the same truth, the principle in the Bible. When you participate with a ministry that’s doing something forgotten, that you’re going to share equally with everybody in that ministry. Your part might be praying, your part might be giving, your part might be supplying in some other area.

We have two men right now taking these phone calls and facilitating the program for me right now. And God bless everybody who helps because I believe they’re all going to share in the victory the victory that Christ brings about through his word as we give it out. So, anyway, I just wanted to share that with you. If you can help us out here, we’re still in July and got another month ago and hopefully things then perk up in the fall again, but we would appreciate your prayers.

And if you can give a gift, that would be wonderful you can call in and give one over the telephone. Anyway, we’re now going to back to the phone lines. We have a bunch of people out here calling and we have Virginia in St. Petersburg and Virginia. Welcome to Baba Langer on the air. Thank you. My question is over the weekend my sister and I were talking about the tribulation and the antichrist. She invented the impression that he is of Jewish ancestry and I was under the immigration coming out of the European Union.

And we both agree that you probably would have the definitive answer on that. And also, do you have any written material that we could pick up and read? I don’t have any written things on that, but I do have my CD series on the book of Revelation, which I think is very enlightening. First of all, I believe the Antichrist comes out of the US of A, which is a surprise to a lot of people, but Daniel 7 verse 8 says that there were 10 horns and I believe the 10 horns are 10 nations out of Europe that would come back together in the end times.

And I think we’ve seen that fulfilled in the European common market. But then it talks about the Antichrist coming up out of an 11th nation that is birthed by Europe. And I believe we’re the only country in the world that could meet that description. which is as I saw another little horn. So here we have another horn, and that means an 11th nation. I’m surprised that most Bible scholars don’t pick this up. It seems like it’s so elementary, I guess it’s my math background as I graduated in electrical engineering from the University of Florida.

And I learned somewhere even back, I think first or second grade that if you had 10 apples and then you had another apple, you’d have 11 apples. Well, the Bible says here about, There’s ten nations there, the ten horns, and then there’s another that rises up that’s younger than and more powerful than the ten. That can only be the United States. We’re the only country that’s really been birthed by Europe. That’s younger than, stronger than Europe. And then it says that the Antichrist, who is also called a little horn, he’s apparently a dictator because he becomes so powerful.

And he will then take over Europe, apparently militarily, says he’ll pluck three up by the roots of the ten. And guess what? If you go to the Internet and you go to Google and you just type in EU3, e, the letter e, the letter u and the number three, the numeral, guess what? There are three countries in Europe that are called the EU3. Those are the three, I think, that’ll be plucked up by America. And guess what? That’s where our military is.

England, France and Germany. And they’ll go quickly. It’ll be in a heartbeat. If the president decided to take him, our military would take him in a heartbeat. And then the rest of Europe would say, hey, we’re yours. And they would all come into the power of the Antichrist. I think that’s the way it’s going to happen. I also believe that the Antichrist might have some Jewish blood in him. The Bible is not really clear about that. But I don’t doubt that it probably is so.

But I don’t know how conscious the Antichrist himself is of his heritage. We know that the past Secretary of State of our country didn’t discover that she was Jewish until she was serving a Secretary of State and learned that during the Holocaust she was hidden by a Gentile family and was raised Gentile, but really turned out that she Jewish. So we’ll have to wait and see but I think he probably has some Jewish blood running through his veins. But that’s my answer.

I believe that the Antichrist will have some Jewish blood and I do believe he comes out of this country and we can be very close. How did the United States? Yes, ma’am. We are the 11th nation that Daniel 7, 8 talks about. Revelation 17 also talks about 11 nations. It’s amazing. I don’t know why Bible scholars miss it. But if you, I’ve studied prophecy now for, you know, ever since I was 18 and all the books generally just look for the Antichrist out of Europe and I think they’re looking in the wrong place.

That’s why they’re really going to miss this whole thing. And I think they’re looking in the wrong place and I think it’s going to happen right here. Okay. Well, thank you so much. Alright, you’re welcome. And if you get my series on Daniel or on Revelation on CD, you’ll see all those verses explained and we’ll talk about it. Thank you for calling in. That was Virginia from St. Petersburg. We have other callers here. We have an offer. This one comes from Land of Lakes from a guy named Carl.

He says, I would like to make a recommendation for Bibleline. I read the article, how old, the earth, how old, it not convinced from the road. I would like to say that I was stunned. I thought the Bibleline was an educated Bible believing institution. The gap theory does not hold up to evolutionary scrutiny and sells out the faith by trying to conform God’s words to society instead of the opposite. Well, I’m afraid I would disagree with you. I believe that the Bible supports the fact that there was an original earth that was destroyed.

And forgetting what science says, the Bible teaches that the earth in Isaiah 45-18 was created perfect and inhabited. And it actually says it was not created vain. If you look up the word vain in Isaiah 45-18, it is the same word translated void in the Genesis 1-2. So God is plainly saying in Isaiah 45-18, He did not create void or vain. He created perfect. God doesn’t create things imperfect. And of course, obviously we don’t believe in evolution because we believe every creature was created perfect also.

He didn’t create an ant eater or a rabbit or a giraffe that It wasn’t perfect. Obviously, every one of these animals were created perfect and able to function and survive, and they didn’t have to evolve along the way to somehow where they could survive. They survived from the get-go. So the Bible is very clear about that. So apparently, many other passages tell us that there was a time when this earth was judged. If you turn to Jeremiah chapter 4, there you have the prophet Jeremiah experiencing time travel into the past.

And it says that Jeremiah says, lo, I’d be held and he saw the earth when it became without form and void. And it tells it was because of the presence of God in his anger that he destroyed the earth and talks about cities being destroyed. What cities were those? I think there were angelic cities. And I think that there may maybe something to the myths that are out there like about the lost continent of Atlantis and so on. You know, I’ve been up in the Pike’s Peak in Colorado, outside of Denver, the mountains.

There’s seashells everywhere. Oceanographers believe that our whole continent was once the bottom of the ocean. I’ve been in the Garcia caves in Mexico, about 4,000 feet above sea level. And oceanographers, there’s seashells everywhere, and all the wolves inside this mammoth cave system in Mexico. There is evidence that this continent was submerged. Apparently when God flooded the earth in Genesis 1-2, and then on the third day of the re-creative week brought forth dry land again, then He reversed everything. What was the bottoms of the oceans now as the dry land?

What was the dry land? without the bottoms of the oceans and maybe underneath the Atlantic Ocean are the remains of angelic cities that are still sitting there. Wouldn’t that be something to find out? It’s interesting that in the book of Revelation when it talks about the sea giving up the dead which were in it, it’s probably talking about the fallen angels who once lived and those areas which are now submerged at the bottom of the oceans and they are going to be cast in prior to the loss of mankind.

Also I have fun asking people that don’t believe that there was an original creation where Satan was head over it and his name was Lucifer at that time and that he felt when he attempted to overthrow heaven and got judged the earth and the angels that lived on the earth that when did Satan fall? Because if you don’t believe that, then you have to say, well did he fall on day one, day two. Or day three of the recreative week, or did he fall on day four or day five or day six?

And why did he fall so quickly, and why would he have fallen? It doesn’t really fit scripture at all. It doesn’t really answer the theological questions that are presented, if you don’t believe that. The Bible is very clear that Satan was given the title to God of this world and if you try to fit that into those six days, He didn’t have time to do much in the way of being a god of this world, but yet the Bible tells us that he was obviously head over all of God’s angels.

Anyway, I believe that definitely the Bible teaches an original creation that flirts with plants and animals and dinosaurs and we have the fossil record event and obviously the six days of the recreated week probably happened just six thousand years ago, I agree with that. So anyway, we certainly believe the Bible to be the word of God, and that’s the source. If science doesn’t agree, maybe it’ll catch up someday and come in line. The Bible taught the earth was around thousands of years ago, way before man never discovered it, and so many other things that are out there are taught well in advance.

Well we have here, please elaborate on Hebrews 13, 1 through 9, particularly focus on verse 5 where it says I’ll never leave the northern safety. Tony in Plant City calls him to that. Well in Hebrews 13, Jesus, this is one of the few times you have a quote from Jesus in the other parts of the New Testament, but he says I’ll never leave you. That means I’ll never leave you. In other words, once you trust Christ, you are his and he is yours and he promises he will never leave you.

If you imagine that some people believe they can lose their salvation, that would mean if you lost it and you went to hell, Christ would have to go to hell with you because he said, I will never leave you nor will I ever forsake you. Never going to happen. Never going to happen. The wonderful internal security verse and obviously the Bible is always telling us that we have eternal life. It’s not temporary life. It’s eternal life. It’s not a probation period.

And that when we come, say we’re saved eternally forever from the moment we get saved on. John 3 16 even says that you would not perish but you would have. Have as a present tense verb you receive eternal life at the moment of belief. If it’s eternal, it’ll be eternal tomorrow. It’ll be eternal next week. It’ll be eternal a hundred years from now a million years from now And so if you have eternal life and you possess it at the moment of belief then you’ll possess it forever And you can be absolutely certain I’m going to heaven From the get go Tony.

I hope that helps and thank you for calling in from plant City We have Dwight in Clearwater, Florida and not Dwight we welcome you to Bible in Good morning How are you doing? I just had to call in and I watched a documentary the other night that was reinforcing the flood. It seems that the pyramid of Kufu in Egypt has got a high watermark about a third of the way up the structure. And this high watermark is when they first discovered it, they found crustaceans, shells, and a skeleton of basically above the watermark there’s nothing but from this watermark down its direct evidence that there was a giant winder of the world.

I just want to throw that in there. Thank you so much, you know, and I believe there were two floods. This is what most people don’t get Peter talks about another flood where the original Earth Was destroyed and all life on the planet was destroyed the second flood didn’t destroy a life on the planet Obviously animal life survived in the ark and it talks about a second flood. That’s why I think God gave the promise with the rainbow That Noah’s flood that he would never again flood the earth as he did because that was the second time.

So he’s telling us that he would never do that again. And the next time the Earth is destroyed, it’s going to be by fire. So that’s going to be interesting isn’t it? So in 2 Peter chapter 3 it talks about a former earth destroyed a present earth that will continue until after the thousand year reign of Christ and then this earth will be destroyed by fire. Then it talks about a new heavens and a new earth. Read 2 Peter chapter 3 it describes the former earth, the present earth and the future earth and the fact that there was two floods.

If you read Genesis 1 2, it says, and darkness was upon the face of the deep. It was obviously underwater. It was not until the third day of the re-creative week that dry land appeared. There was no land. Viewer on the earth prior to the third day of the re-creative week, you’d be on water and you’d have to be swimming or in a boat. But there was no land. The earth was flooded twice. It was flooded in Genesis 1 2.

It was also flooded again in Genesis 6-9 in Noah’s Flood, two floods, but God’s never going to do that again. He promises the next time will be after the Millennial Kingdom is over and in Revelation 20 verse 11 we have it described, we’re going to destroy this earth by fire. Alright we welcome now to our callers we have Benjamin in Clearwater Florida, Benjamin, welcome to Bibleline. good one under so hand I have a little bit confused over here in second of the The Babylonians chapter 2 verse 10 and 12.

They look like that when Jesus come and raise the church. Take the church away. The person get behind. Those people look like they’re in the verse 12. They don’t going to be saved even in the young tribulation. look like the the gospel when the 144,000 priesty guys for the new people are going to be safe but not those people get behind can you please back to me please yeah I think it’s saying there if a person heard a clear gospel message and rejected it prior to the rapture that once the rapture happens that God would send strong delusion that they would believe alive because they receive not the love of the truth that they might be saved.

But I think most people don’t fit into that category. Most churches are not giving a clear gospel and what people are rejecting is a lot of the phony baloney that’s out there that they recognize is not the truth but they’re not really rejecting the gospel. But I do believe I’ve talked to people and I think sometimes God will even take them out even now. I’ve talked to a number of people where they could recite to me the true gospel back and I’ve seen them die young.

I’m talking about in their teens and in their 20s when they say, I understand exactly what you’re saying. They could recite it back verbatim and say, I will not trust Christ and I don’t want to trust Christ. And then all of a sudden there’s a car accident or something else happens and illness and boom, they’re gone. I’ve seen that happen numerous times. It says in Proverbs 29.1, he that being often reproved hardens his neck and shall be destroyed suddenly and without remedy.

So if a person really does hear the clear gospel and turns it down, God is not obligated to keep you around on the earth anymore. I think sometimes that’s what it’s talking about and that happens even now, but it’ll happen for those who’ve heard a clear gospel, the rapture happens and they will be deluded and they’ll believe the lie of the Antichrist tells about why these anooga people have disappeared. Hopefully that helps you Benjamin and good question. Second Class of the Londines II is a fascinating chapter about the Antichrist.

It will be revealed after the Rapture. Quite a clear passage here. These prederists and those that are in place with theology that believe there is no Rapture, no tribulation. Certainly aren’t reading the same Bible I’m reading. I know they are, but they sprinkle the pixie dust on it and say everything’s metaphorical. It doesn’t mean what it says. Well, guess what? All the cults do that too. Joe’s witnesses, I can’t tell you how many times I said, I’ll show you a passage and when we see it together, you’re going to say it doesn’t mean that.

And I said, oh, we won’t do that. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. And all of a sudden, I’ll read it to him and he said, what does it mean that? I told you in advance you were going to tell me that answer. And they just don’t want to believe what it says. But the bottle’s pretty plain and pretty straightforward and it’s a matter of not We’re at the end of the day here. It looks like we have a lot of questions still outstanding.

We hope that you’ll see us in the next video. We hope that you’ll see us in the next video. We hope that you’ll see us in the next video. We have a brand new resource sheet that we just… just develop. If you call we can mail that to you. It lists all the things we have in our resource center and I hope you’ll take advantage of that. We’ve had fun being with you. I hope you enjoyed my line again.

If you could help us during the summer in these lean months, you could send a gift to my line by mail and or you can give one by credit card over the phone. We’re really not trying to get your money. We don’t pay any salaries with the money that come in. We are really just trying to reach out as far as we can and sometimes we reach out further than perhaps we should, except that we trust that God can supply and do great and mighty things.

We believe that God has raised up an audience that cares and wants to see this message get out and they’re supportive of it. So that’s how we’re able to do this. God bless you, all of you that pray for and give to Bible and hopefully we can get to a lot more of the offer questions tomorrow. Those that are having those out there, be patient. God will run. I hope you keep looking up. Jesus is coming I think very soon.
