We hope that you’ll take advantage of all of these things. We’re going to go to our Bible right now and of course we thank you for tuning in to the Bibleline program today. We believe we are living in the latter days. The Bible describes the latter days as when the Jewish people would go back to the state of Israel and they would become a nation again. That has happened in this era of time in 1948 Israel became a nation and we believe they are there in preparation for what is going to take place as God will prepare them for receiving Christ as their King, and that Christ will come back and rule and reign over the earth and Israel will become the head nation.

I want you to notice a great passage in Micah, chapter 4 in the Old Testament, the Prophet Micah. It says in verse 1, but in the last days, in the last days, in the last days, Micah chapter 4 verse 1 is talking about the last days. And the last days are defined by Hosea, the Prophet, in chapter 3 verse 5, as when the Jewish people would return back to their land. So these are the last days, and here it talks about how Christ will rule the earth from Jerusalem.

It says, Many nations shall come, verse 2, and say, Come and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord. To the house of the God of Jacob, and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths for the law shall go forth out of Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem, that’s because Jesus will be in Jerusalem, and he’ll be speaking. And his words are God’s words, and the word of the Lord will go forth from Jerusalem out to the whole earth.

He also, being God who is going to come back and rule over the earth, shall judge, verse 3 says, among many people, and rebuke strong nations far off, and they’ll beat their swords into plowshares and their spears and their pruning hooks. Total world disarmament. That’s right. Are you believing it? Nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore. Total peace on the earth, verse 4. They shall sit every man under his fig tree, and none of them shall be afraid for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.

Everybody is going to be at peace. They will be able to enjoy their home and the fruits of their labor and just be able to sit comfortably and not be afraid. Can you imagine? Nothing will be happening that would cause fear because Christ will be ruling here on the earth. The Prophet, Chapter 4, talking about things that have not yet happened, that will happen in the future. By the way, in Chapter 5, as a little bit of a backdrop from the feature that still yet to be fulfilled by the Second Coming Christ, it talks about the one who will accomplish all that, is one in his first coming, was born in Bethlehem.

Did you know that? five of Micah, it says, but thou Bethlehem, Africa, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet thou thee shall come forth unto me, the one who is to be ruler in Israel, whose going forth have been from a hold from everlasting. Wow, that’s God! Only God is from everlasting, and he is actually going to take on flesh in the city of Bethlehem, and it tells this long before it ever happens. And the very same one that is born in Bethlehem, this to be king, will obviously have a time, an interval between his first and his second comings.

And then he comes back and the Bible says that he is the one that will bring peace in the Middle East and in the world. And chapter 4 describes it. Now look back in chapter 4 for just a minute. It says here in verse 11 in the description of exactly what we see right now. Take a look at the news. Read your paper. It says in verse 11, now also many nations are gathered against thee. When has this ever been as much as it is now?

All the 22 Muslim Arab nations around Israel obviously are against Israel. That’s right. They don’t have any many friends in the Middle East. In fact, Israel doesn’t have many friends in the world at all. And it says here, also many nations are gathered against the. And they say and listen to this, let Israel be defiled. Let our eye look upon Zion. It’s really saying here they want to see Israel destroyed. Look at a bit of job in Iran, wants to see Israel nuked and destroyed.

We’re living watching these things take place. And notice they all want Jerusalem to be their capital. They want Jerusalem for themselves. And this is exactly what the Bible said here about 2800 years ago. Wow, is the Bible accurate? Does it tell the future? Does it make mistakes? No, it doesn’t. It accurately tells us what we We are seeing today and notice what it says about Israel’s neighbors. It says they know not the thoughts of the Lord. Why would that be?

They don’t read the Bible. They read the Quran. They’re reading the wrong book. That’s right. It says here they know not the thoughts of the Lord. They have no clue what the Bible says. They don’t realize they’re on the wrong side of the fence and they’re on the losing side and that God is going to come back and defend Israel and they are going to be in deep trouble. It says here, neither understand they his counsel. If they were to listen to what God would say, they would not be doing what they are doing right now.

And notice it says, God will gather them as the sheaves into the floor. It says in verse 13, arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion, and that is Israel, will arise and thresh. I will make 9 horn iron, I will make thy hoofs brass, and thou shall beat in pieces many people, and I will consecrate their gain unto the Lord and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth. What it is saying is that when this happens at the second coming of Christ, all All of these people will be destroyed because Christ will come back and destroy every unbeliever on the face of the earth and all these Muslim nations who do not come to know Christ as their Savior, which they unlikely will not according to scripture here, they will be destroyed and their gain will be now belonging to Israel.

Your substance will be now belonging to the Lord and Israel will possess it all. Did you know that God promised Abraham that Israel would possess the land in the Middle East from the Euphrates River in Iraq, all the way down to the Nile River in Egypt? Guess what? All that land will become Israel’s when the Second Coming occurs, when this prophecy of Bica takes place where it says here that I shall beat in pieces many people. all these people here that are the enemies of Israel will be destroyed at the Second Coming.

And all that land from the Euphrates River in Iraq all the way down to the Nile River in Egypt will now finally become Israel’s and Israel will become the head nation over the earth and Christ will rule over the earth as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Chapter 5 tells us this man that would accomplish this is none other than the one who is from everlasting, the one who is God in flesh, and this is the one that will bring peace into the Middle East.

And he is the one that will be great all over the entire earth as the king of kings and lord of lords. It says in chapter 5 and verse 4, for now shall he be great under the ends of the earth. You know, in Luke when the angel Gabriel talked to Mary about this child that would be born, he said almost these very same words about Christ. It says in Luke chapter 1, as the angel Gabriel spoke to Mary, he shall be great.

And shall be called the Son of the Highest, and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his Father David. And he shall reign over the house of Jacob, that’s Israel, forever. And of his kingdom there shall be no end, that kingdom is coming up. It’s a thousand years in length here on the earth, but will never be overthrown by any army or nation, and will continue on into eternity forever and ever and ever. Just like Handel took the words out of the book of Revelation and said it in the music, and he shall reign forever and ever and ever.

I didn’t mean to break in the song, but I just can’t help it because, wow, this is exciting stuff. We are living so close. I believe that the rapture is right around the corner. There will follow with seven years of tribulation where God will ready Israel to receive her king. At the end of that seven years, if you’re not a believer, you will be destroyed. All the countries that do not know Christ will be destroyed, and only those that are believers will enter into that millennial kingdom.

And as we spoke the other day, they will still be in their mortal bodies. They will marry and have children, and their children will grow up and marry and have children. And the population of the world will grow during that thousand year reign. During the end, Satan is loosed to demonstrate the wickedness of the human heart that even though with Christ here on the earth, with Satan and his angels bound up, with the word of the Lord going forth from Jerusalem to the whole world, there still will be millions that will not trust Jesus as their Savior.

It shows how true the Bible is in Jeremiah 17, 9 when it says the heart of man is desperately wicked. Obviously it says the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. Who can know it? Only the Lord knows the wickedness of the human heart. It will be exposed by Satan being loosed for a little short season right at the end of the tribulation period. Well, we’re going to go ahead and get our phone lines here and I’m Dr.

Hank Lindstrom. This This is Bibleline. The phone number is 1-800-576-3771. We have Charlie in Tampa, Florida. And Charlie, welcome to Bibleline. You are on the air. Hi Hank, this is Charlie. Well welcome to Bibleline. How can I help you? Well, I have a question that my fiancee and I have been talking about. And I want to kind of present it to you. We were talking about if guys like John Cooley and Ted Bundy and Jeffrey Dahmer, guys like that would get saved and they go to heaven.

Were their place in heaven be the same as mine or yours would be who have not created committed these heinous acts? What were their place in heaven be like? That’s a great question. Obviously, the difference between heaven and hell is belief or unbelief. It’s sometimes doubtful that these people do come to know the Lord of Savior, but if they did, they would be saved. But then every believer will stand before the Lord at a judgment where our works are examined to determine the degree of reward or loss of reward in heaven.

So our deeds do play a part in what happens when we get to heaven, but our destination of reaching heaven is determined by trusting Christ. The same thing is true for unbelievers because of their unbelief they will go to hell, but they’ll stand at a totally separate judgment. Revelation chapter 20 describes it where the unsaid will have their works examined to determine the degree of punishment and hell. So obviously they will certainly have none nothing worthy of reward and they won’t have have the same position that you and I as believers who have lived for Christ will have.

So there is a difference for sure. Okay, their place in heaven will be just like my fiance has a heaven of talking about like a kind of like a grading system. They’ll get in but kind of like with a D. There you go. Okay, good deal. Thank you Charlie. Thanks for answering my question. All right. That was Charlie in Tampa, Florida. We don’t have Mark in Jacksonville for a mark. Welcome to Bibleline. Yeah, it’s me again. I’m just chewing on this kingdom stuff a little bit.

I understand a little bit about what you said yesterday. A little bit with you because I’m actually looking up scripture and trying to dig into this a little bit. Do you have the skill field Bible? I’m reading a King James. It’s not. Well, the skill field notes are really excellent on this and they really show the difference. As we said yesterday, the Kingdom of Heaven was a special message to Israel about this Kingdom that would be established when Christ will come back and Israel is the one that would receive their King and then the Kingdom would be set up.

That’s really what the Lord’s Prayer is about. Our Father with Heart and Heaven, hallowed be thy name. Then it says, Thy Kingdom come. And what does it say about that Kingdom? I will be done on earth as it is in heaven. That has not happened yet. But during that thousand year reign, you find that Christ will be actually ruling on the earth. The heavens will be ruling over the earth. And there will be peace on earth, good will, toward men and gods will be done on earth just as it is in heaven.

And that message was exclusively to be sent to Israel as we talked about in Matthew chapter 10. And it will be preached again after the rapture during the tribulation period. But right now that’s not the message that were to be preaching. Okay, so that says in Matthew 24 which she’s talking about in times and this gospel of the kingdom, so this gospel of the kingdom would be the death bear resurrection of Jesus in Christ. No, no it is not.

This is the message of the king coming and setting up a kingdom on the earth. Okay, so that’s Christ’s writing. Okay, let me, I’m going to make it fast here but Jesus also talks about it in Luke a a little bit of the kingdom of God is within you or translated I guess among you so that references for me to Romans which says for the kingdom of God is not you know food and drink or meat and drink but watch this in peace and joy and the holy ghost right now you’ve just changed terms there because there talks about the kingdom of God now the kingdom of God is not the same as the kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of God is all incluses of everything in this universe past present and future that’s under the control of God which is obviously everything.

But the Kingdom of Heaven is specifically talking about the thousand year earthly reign of Christ. Okay, so the Kingdom of God, I guess essentially is Christ. Well, He is God and everything under His control and authority which is everything is the Kingdom of God. Okay, so I guess what’s happening in my thought process a little bit is that we’re also the temple of the Holy Spirit. I mean in some ways I’m saying I don’t know I’m just trying to process this I’m not trying to change anything or do anything crazier.

I want to take it for what it is. But he lives in us so his kingdom is within us as well. Isn’t it to some degree? And I’m just kind of processed that. I know we have a physical kingdom coming. And that’s what we’re really having to separate between. You know we’re talking here about rightly dividing the word. And 2 Timothy 2 verse 15 says, study to show yourself approved unto God as a workman, not a bookworm, but a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

So unless you separate everything out, everything becomes confusing. And that’s why a lot of people kind of give up because they don’t study to define the terms and separate things out. But this gospel of the kingdom is not being preached today. Herbert W. Armstrong used to say he was preaching it and he was. You know if you ever heard that program he’s now dead. His son, Garner Ted I think is still living but he would his son would have the radio program in the world tomorrow with your radio.

He’s Garner Ted Hart strong coming to you from Pasadena California. Well that’s a cult group and they of course were preaching that the kingdom was about ready to be set up and he claimed he was the only one that was preaching it on the earth and I think he was right. But today we’re not preaching that message. There are four gospels. That’s where the Schofield Bible is so helpful. There is the gospel of the of salvation which is the gospel of the death barrel and resurrection of Christ and that’s the one that saves us.

There is the gospel of the kingdom which has to do uniquely with the millennial kingdom. There is also a false gospel which is a perversion of the true gospel of grace where you add works to it which becomes a curse. It will not save anybody. Then there is also the everlasting gospel. That is the only one preached by an angel which is basically announcement of a wrap up of everything at the end of the tribulation period that those that are saved are are going to rejoice and those that are lost are going to be in anguish and pain as they’re cast in the hell and uh…

that is a wrap up as christ that’s a piece kingdom will never be overthrown uh… but obviously uh… i’ve been saying about a long time and you have to be able to separate everything out are you just don’t come out right that’s where i meant that that the process of an album looking at this thing for two or three days now just trying to understand where it’s coming from because I mean I’m definitely one of those I’m on my guard right now really with what’s happening because I believe what’s what’s happening in the church most of it now what it’s turning into is the counterfeit it’s turning in that are teaching the prophecy and heresy and stuff and I’m just like for myself like I said the last first time we talked God’s bringing me back to square one you’re telling All everything everything that’s been done is him.

It’s all on Christ. I mean even to keep me. I don’t really have to do anything but just my works now are just to gain gain a crown or gain reward and to become more like Jesus. Amen. Well you’re on the right track and I would recommend the Scofield though as a reference Bible that we really helped you. I’m an ordered link. Okay, you can call me, we can ship it out to you from here. We have the old Scofil, which is the one you really want to get.

Thank you, Mark. It was Mark in Jacksonville, Florida. We’re coming up on break time here. It’s coming up rather quick on us. I hope everybody listening is trusted, Christ is saviour, because obviously if you die without Christ, you’ll not make heaven, but you will be cast into the everlasting lake of fire. If you are unsaved and the rapture happens, you’ll be left behind, and the likelihood of you getting saved is going to be minimal because Satan will grab control of this world and pretty much blind everybody from the truth of the gospel.

And if you are living at the end of the tribulation and not save Christ himself will destroy you when he comes back in flaming fire bringing judgment on the earth. By the way if you can help my blind, this is a great time to do it. We’re finishing up August here and we need help to get out of the summer on our feet and we don’t want to cancel any station anywhere. We want to keep you listening wherever you are.

So if you can do your part and help us send a gift by mail or give it by credit card over the phone. We’re going to take our break and then we’re going to come right back and do a second half hour so we don’t want you to go away. Hug your radio. Keep it tight right next to you and we’ll be right back after this short break. Don’t go away. Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771.

That’s 1-800-576-3771. Well I’m Dr. Engle, and this one is great to be with you today. We sure enjoy being with you each and every day, and look forward to it. And I hope you look forward to it as well. We have people that tell us that every day. We had a couple that came to our class last night, and they said they really do enjoy listening to the Bibleline every day. I had a fellow that came by yesterday to visit, and he said that he didn’t get to listen the the other day because his secretary apparently scheduled an appointment between 10 and 11.

He wasn’t too happy about that, but he said it was no other choice on this particular occasion. So he tries to keep his 10 to 11 time open. That’s when we come out of Tampa live at 10 to 11 Eastern Standard Time. And so we have some people to tell us that they really do depend upon Bibleline as a source for them to grow and learn and one man said that he learned more in thirty days than he had in thirty years in his church.

Wow, what a statement and we have so many that have told us exactly about God bless all of you who are our listening audience and again we certainly do need your help at this time to pull out of the summer where we have been really running behind. We want to obviously continue everywhere we are and have you listening and being a part of our program wherever you might be. And so if you could help us, you could give a gift by credit card over the phone.

You could also send a gift by mail. No gift is too small. Really, we just trust that God will supply and He does it through the giving of His people. And we thank God for everyone of you. I want to thank you in advance. God bless you for praying for and giving to the Bible. We are excited about this class that we are studying right now in the Gospel of John. That series is going to be the longest one I think I have ever done.

But the book of John is so rich. We have already done 14 hours and it looks like we have another class or two to finish it up and do it justice because John is such a rich and wonderful book. I think you will be blessed. Those that are in the classroom don’t want it to ever quit. And obviously we will come to a conclusion. But if you ordered the set, I think we’ll be breaking it up into two sets, John Part 1 and John Part 2, so that you can get it in increments.

But it’s going to be wonderful. I think you’ll enjoy it. And of course, you You can take advantage of the internet. We’re going to go back and do our second half hour Bibleline. Keep your radio tuned right where it is. And don’t stray away because here we go. We are ready right now to start part two. Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771.

Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Alright, we’re back from that break and this is Bibleline and we’re in the second half hour and thank you for tuning in today and we’re so glad to have you listening. We have a lot of offer questions lawyered to as many of us as we can. We’ve got people online waiting to get up on the air with me and we’ll try to get you up as quickly as we can. We’ll try very definitely to answer as many of the questions as we possibly can.

Today, again, we thank you for your prayers and for your gifts and for your support of the Bible and program and that’s the way we’re able to stay on the air. Somebody said, how much do you get paid to be on the radio? I don’t get paid anything. All of our staff, those that My answer to the phones here, everything is donated. And we obviously have a real burden to get this program out there and to get people’s questions answered and bring people back to a clear understanding of the scriptures and to understand the gospel message that salvation is a gift not earned, not deserved, but received freely from the hand of God by simple faith and trust in Jesus Christ as the only means of salvation.

If you’d like to help us, your gift would be greatly appreciated. We’re trying to get through this tight summer that we’ve had and we are tight of course because we have extended ourselves way out there, but we just want to get the gospel out to as many as we can. Could you help us? If you would be willing to help us, it would be great. You can pray for us. That’s the number one way you can help. Cloak and number two.

You could give a gift to the Bibleline. You could do that by mail. You can call and ask. We’ll send you a address on it. Also, you can Call in and give a gift by credit card over the phone. In any case, we’re gonna go back to our phone lines here and we have Liz in Port Prince George, Virginia. Virginia. And Liz, welcome to Bibleline. You are on the air. Good morning, Pastor Lindstrom. I have a question about Colossians 1, 21 through 23, where Paul is speaking of the reconciling work of Christ.

And he says that you are reconciled in the body of his flesh through death to present you holy and unblamable and unapprovalable in his sight. If you continue in the faith grounded and settled and not be moved away from the hope of the gospel. I know many people try haha as an argument for the fact that you can lose your salvation I don’t believe that but could you please explain that I’d be happy to it’s really the condition here is because this is talking about being presented at the judgment seat of Christ un-reprovable in other words that you would receive a full reward for your Christian service here in this world and And obviously, if you are living for Christ and serving Him, you will be earning rewards all throughout your Christian life.

And there are five crowns that the believer can earn as well. And he’s talking about that day when we’re presented before Him at the Joseph’s Head of Christ, which is where all believers will have their works examined. I like 1 Corinthians 3 verses 11 through 15 where it talks about how that all of us will be there and that every believer’s works will be examined by fire. And if the fire burns up our works, there will be nothing left but ashes and no reward.

if we have things that remain like goals over precious stones which represent things that are done for Christ and will be rewarded. And so he’s talking here about us being faithful and earning rewards. It’s not talking about loss of salvation. Certainly we are saved and saved forever. Earlier in the chapter here it tells us… In verse 13, we have been delivered from the power of darkness and have been translated into the kingdom of his dear son. We already, as far as God is concerned, are in heaven.

We’re already living in heaven, as though we’ve been there for millions of years, positionally because our salvation is completed. It can never be reversed, but definitely there is consequences for how we live our life, but And it’s not loss of salvation, it would be loss of reward. I hope that helps a little bit. Yes, it does. And also, so then when it says in Revelation, not only if it’s Revelation 2, it’s more in Revelation 2, it says that if you endure till the end you shall rule the nations or I think some Bible is trying to blade it, you’ll be saved.

Well, there it’s talking about two things. It’s one of the overcoming promises in Revelation 2 and it says if you overcome, you’ll notice there’s more than one verse there but you have to connect the knots carefully on that particular one and I’ll go there and take a look at it with you. It says in verse 26, he that overcome it. Well if you go down to verse 28 there is the result of that. It says I will give him the morning star.

That’s Christ. So you have Christ and therefore if you have Christ, Gordon I John, same author, the apostle John, it says you have life and if you have life of course it’s forever. It’s eternal life that he gives. But then it says here if you secondly, which is the Christian life, verse 26 of Revelation 2, he then overcometh and overcomers the believer. Let me just stop right here. 1 John 5, 4 and 5 define an overcomer as a believer.

It says, whatsoever is born of God, overcome with the world. And this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. And then verse 5 is even better, where it says, who is he that overcometh the world? Answer, he that believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. So by virtue of what Christ did for us at the cross, the fact that he overcame Satan, death, the penalties and so on, and rose from the grave. We are overcomers because he did that in our place as our substitutionary sacrifice.

And so we are saved. And notice verse 28 here in Revelation 2, I will give him, salvation is a gift. And actually the gift is Christ himself. And when you receive Christ by trusting that he died for you, you He received everlasting life because he is everlasting life. But then it says here in verse 26, and keep it by works in the end. Then notice what we’re gonna get. The result is rewards in heaven. I’ll give him power over the nations.

And he shall rule with a lot of iron and so on. So this is ruling power during the millennium that when we come back with Christ of the Second Coming, we’ll have authority and power in ruling and jobs assigned to us based upon our works. But salvation is a gift he gives us simply the morning stars result of being a believer, but then keeping faithful to the end brings about rewards. OK. Thank you very much. That was wonderful explanation.

Thank you so much for calling in Liz in Prince George, Virginia. And we’re now going to go to Benjamin, who’s been safely waiting in Clearwater Florida and Benjamin, welcome to my blend. Good morning, Dr. Hank. I’m driving right now. I have a question in relation to chapter 3, verse 15 and 16. Look like we talk about three different groups. They are hard, warm and cold. I believe that we call the rapture and the warm, maybe those people, what the Bible said, your name, we cast them, and he said, we don’t know you.

But who are the poor people? That is those people that get saved in the tribulation? All right. These are all Christians, those that are living now during the church age from Pentecostal rapture and there are some Christians that are red-hot from the Lord sold out and dedicated living for Christ and they’re going to be rewarded for their faithful service. There are those that kind of ride the fence. They’re the lukewarm Christians is talking about here. Christ says they make me nauseous and they make me want to throw up.

It says you spew me out of my mouth. not talking about salvation but loss of your opportunity to serve him, he’ll take away. The cold ones are cold as Christians toward the things of the Lord. We see that today. It says in Timothy that the hearts of many Christians in the last days would grow cold. We become indifferent to the responsibilities that we have. There are very few Christians today that are really taking their Christian life seriously. This is a letter to the last day of the day.

church, the latest in church. And notice he says here, your problem is, verse 17, Benjamin, it says, because you say that I am rich and increased with goods and have need of nothing. Well, we’re living in a materialistic world and everybody thinks that you’re okay if you have a house and a car and you’re able to pay your bills and so on. And he’s saying you really don’t realize that you’re miserable rather than you’re wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked.

In other words, when you stand before the Lord, you’re going to have zero. So the ones that are warm and cold are going to have no reward for when they get to heaven. He says you’re absolutely flat broke. You may think you’re rich, but you’re seeing things in this world, whereas when you enter into eternity after the judgment of state of Christ, your works will be burned up and you’ll have no reward and you’ll suffer that loss forever and ever and ever.

So he’s counseling them in the next verse to gain rewards in heaven by living faithfully for Christ. So that’s what it’s talking about, Benjamin. It’s not talking about any loss here. It’s talking about three different groups of Christians, those that are red hot, dedicated, serving the Lord, those that are lukewarm and riding the fence and kind of have their Christian friends on Sunday and their worldly friends on Monday through Saturday, and they’re not really accomplishing anything for the Lord.

And then there’s the group that’s absolutely not doing anything and are cold to the things of the Lord. They’re going to suffer great loss, and Christ says you’re bankrupt. You might have a good salary and a good home and a good car here, but when you get to heaven you’re going to be a zero. Although you are saved, you’ll suffer the loss for you’re not having served the Lord for that for eternity. Kind of scary. Alright, we now have Jim in Richmond, Virginia, and Jim, welcome to Bibleline You’re On The Air.

Hello, thank you for taking my call. Sir, I’m on the road, so I’m going to just place a rhetorical question. I don’t expect you to have the answer, but I would be curious to hear your slaps. Since in eternity, we will have no cures and will be in a state of joy. How will we perceive the loss to souls of loved ones? And will we be affected in any way emotionally? Now, if you don’t mind, I’m going to hang up because I am driving the trucks.

All right. And I’ll answer the question. Okay thank you very much sure. Alright and Jim the answer is there will be tears and there will be regret and yes we will be emotionally impacted by the loss of loved ones and everything else. It’s not until chapter 21 of the book of Revelation when we’re in eternity that the Bible says that God comes over and he wipes away the tears from our eyes. So, there you clearly see believers who have tears coming from their eyes and they are careful and they are regretful and they are sorrowful.

But there’s a time coming when he’ll wipe away our tears and there’ll be no more tears and no more crying and no more death and no more sorrow and no more anything that would be negative. And I believe he’ll erase some parts of our memory so that we’ll not be suffering that forever. So, Jim, for a while we will suffer and we’ll have regret and we will have tears after we’re gone to be with the Lord. But there’s a day coming when God will wipe away those tears.

We’re now going to go to Malcolm. Malcolm is in Pace, Florida and Malcolm, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Yes Pastor, was Langstrom? Lind Estrum, L-I-N-D-S-T-R-L. Thank you, excuse me. Song of Solomon, chapter 2, verses 10 through 13, if my understanding is correct, I’m calling you could maybe well you you probably got a doctor divinity but on the song and chapter two verses ten eleven twelve and thirteen would you read that please all right uh… My beloved spake in Sennarmy, rise up my love, my fair one, and come away from low the winter is past, the rain is over and gone, the flowers appear on the earth.

The singing of the birds is coming and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land, and the fig tree put forth her green figs and the vines with a tender grape give a good smell, arise my love, my fair one and come away. I’m wondering could this be a foretelling of the rapture and if it is looks to me like it’s gonna take place in the spring time of the year Go on by the description now. What do you think of that?

I? I don’t know that I don’t really I don’t believe this moment of rapture because I don’t think the rapture is there in the Old Testament, but I think it is talking about in type the bride of Christ and and that we will be being called away to be with him certainly and Maybe the rapture might be there in type. I don’t know. That’s a good question. I have to ponder that some more, but good good analogy or a good connection there.

Okay, that was my only question. Thank you, sir. All right. Well, Excuse me, you know Sometimes we need to be very careful that there is always a literal interpretation of a passage and then there can be an application and there can be also a picture of a type of something that’s going to happen in the future. So I’ll take a look at that again. Maybe I’ll get back to you on the air if you keep listening up there and pays for it.

Malcolm, we’re now going to go to Jane in Houston, Florida. Jane, welcome to my morning. Yes. Hi, Dr. Hank. I have a question for you. Okay, go for it. Yes, what do you know about the Eastern Orthodox states? They say that they’re not a denomination, but they’re actually the foundation of state. And they trace their history back all the way to Peter. Can you address that? Well, sure, I mean, they do have a long tradition, but sometimes they have also encrusted themselves with things that are unbiblical.

Usually they have icons and that’s idolatry and is forbidden. Obviously, many of them adore and pray to Mary just like the Western Church, the Roman Church. And so they oftentimes are not real clear on the gospel either. So obviously I think they’re relying upon their traditions and their history and their long And you know, line of tradition and history all the way back to the earliest days as the authority to continue the things that they’re doing that really are not biblical.

So the Bible is the authority and certainly the Bible warns us about tradition that tradition can make void the Word of God. So if our traditions are not correct, then we need to discard them. But oftentimes they believe that salvation involves more than just Christ. I had a lady that got saved under me and the pastor of her church of that background that you’re talking about said that you need more than Christ to save you. You need the counsel of the church and you need tradition and you need even Mary.

So obviously she said I’m out of here, she heard that and she simply trusted Christ realizing that that couldn’t be true. So maybe that will help, I don’t know. Okay. I have another quick question. I know you said previously that you had left the church just wondering what that was and what your church is now. Is it a particular denomination? Have you ever done a church plan? My church right now is an independent church and I’ve been in the pastor here for 42 years.

So I’ve been here a long time. But the church I came out of was the Swedish Covenant Church. Just kind of like a break off from the Lutheran Church. I’m Swedish in descent. All my grandparents were born in Sweden and the state church of Sweden is the Lutheran Church. And this was kind of like a branch off of that here in the States. They have about 600 churches in that denomination. But it was basically a lot of salvation works for salvation.

And they’re still around. And unfortunately, are teaching incorrectly. So, do you have your church that you have now? Do you do church plans or are you the only location? We are the only one, but we’re thinking about that because we have so many requests that we’d like to see some sort of a church. Dupacation of what we do here and we do the traditional music and we do the teaching right out of God’s word and we’re evangelistic and when people are guys, we hardly have a worship service come by when somebody doesn’t get saved here at our church.

And I think that’s really what the healthy New Testament church is. If you read the book of Acts, it says the Lord added to the church daily, those that were being saved. So they were having people getting saved all the time and we see that too and it’s wonderful because that’s what we ought to be doing We ought to be Witnessed in this world to Christ and winning lost people most churches today. I think they’re just trading members I think people are just moving for the only new ground is not being plowed and and and they’re not very much Winning the loss that need to be won.

I think we’re losing the battle and we see that as the Bible and prayer and everything else of this spring from our society because in some scholars are saying this is a post-Christian era that we’ve already gone beyond the Christian time in our history here in the United States and we’re now post-Christian. And that’s probably true. That’s right. Thank you so much. You’re so welcome. Thank you, Jane, for listening out there in Houston, Texas. But we are getting people.

In fact, for those of you in Richmond, there’s a number of people in Richmond. that are watching our worship service live on Sundays that would like to contact others that are doing the same and maybe be able to fellowship together because they’re telling me they’re having a difficult time finding a sound church to attend. So if you would like to be connected with others in your area that are watching our worship service and would like to fellowship with other believers of like faith, then call us and we’ll put you on a list and try to get you people together.

And that might be true in other cities too. I know a lot of people tell me they really are having trouble finding a good sound Bible church and it’s becoming more rare all the time. We’re now going to go to Patrick in Riverview, Florida. Patrick, welcome to Bibleline you are on the air. Yes, my name is Patrick and I’m about to be re-floored up. I had a question in the rest of the collaboration. It is that the, I’m sure he says that it’s probably just for not only Western civilization, but throughout the world.

And I just want to know what the Bible says exactly. If Okay. We could do that or not. Absolutely. The Jones witnesses don’t believe in doing that. And the Jones witnesses don’t get much right at all. It’s just they deny almost every doctrine in the Bible. If you read Job chapter 1, apparently they were having a birthday party there for Job’s children and celebrating. So certainly it’s in the Bible. Also the Bible tells us in the Psalms that we’re to number our days.

So if you’re to number your days, obviously you’re going to have benchmarks which generally that is every year I have a granddaughter and we kind of tease and have fun and celebrate every month and she’s 22 right now and people say 22, yeah 22 months. But in any case we count time and the Bible says that we can apply our minds into wisdom and think about well if we’re going to live 70 or 80, how many years do we have left and are we using the time that we have left that God has given to us wisely.

And so I don’t see any problem with that. In fact, I think if we are scriptural, we’ll be counting those days and really saying, what have I accomplished thus far with the life and time that God has given to me? And what will I do with the time I have left? And how am I investing my time? This is going to let it count for eternity. What am I doing for God? With the time He is allotted to me.

So I think that celery and birthday is just wonderful. And then that’s on Job? First chapter of Job, yeah. That’s where all the whole thing comes about where the Lord tells Satan, if He knows my servant Job, they were actually observing that birthday party. Okay. One other quick question in reference to the cross about that. Okay, that’s definitely Job’s witness. And it doesn’t really make any difference so it’s not a big deal but let me tell you. I’ve got quite a collection of Joe’s Witness paraphernalia and I’ve got books that are about 1940 copyright and they have pictures with Christ being crucified on a cross.

So they’re just absolute liars and deceivers because it’s been since 1940 they’ve changed their mind and make a big deal about Christ being crucified on the state. But I have within about five feet of me here, Joe’s with witness publications with the Watchtower approval that have pictures of Jesus crucified on the cross. So they are just really, they lie to you. They just deceive you and they don’t, even the people in the movement don’t even know what’s going on.

So stay away, stay away from the witnesses. You don’t want to be in awe with them at all. Alright, thank you so much for calling in. We are about out of time here and we’re going to be back, of course, tomorrow. I hope you’ll join me then. And of course, you’re always welcome to come by and visit with us. if you’re living in another city, you can join us on the internet. Check that out, BibleLineMinistries.org.com. I’m Dr. Engleinsterman. We certainly enjoy coming to you every day. And I want to thank you that make that possible because it’s you, the listener that gives so that we can be on the air with you.

That’s really the way it works. We really don’t have another source of income. And this is a miracle work really. Bibleline is a miracle from the get-go. When we started, we didn’t have a dime. And we really didn’t know how we could ever be on the air at all. And as I prayed, as we were actually offered a 15 minute spot at 10 o’clock in the morning and we didn’t know how we could possibly afford it. We just didn’t have the money.

And as we prayed and as we just asked the Lord, I was sitting, looking at the window as I prayed as it was the final day I had to make a decision. I saw a car pull up in the church parking lot and the fellow came in. I hadn’t seen him for years and he handed me a check. He sat down and chatted and finally he said, aren’t you going to look at that check? And I said, well, if you want me to, I was kind of embarrassed to look at the check.

You know, I didn’t want to have him think I was just talking to him or having time with him because he gave a gift to us. But he said, I felt like you had a need and I want you to have this because God has laid this upon my heart. Well, I did look at the check at that moment and it was for $30,000. I said, well, let me just tell you how you’ve answered my prayer. I was sitting here saying, God, how can we go on the air?

And you know, that program developed from a 15 minute to a 30 minute to an hour and then left Tampa and went up in the sunlight and then we’re scattering out all over the place. But it began really just like that a miracle because we never have had the money to be able to do Bible on it. But it’s you guys that do it. Can you help us give a gift by credit card over the phone or mail a gift in the Bible on?

It sure would be appreciated. And thank you in advance. People get up, Jesus is coming and we’re trusting that God will do great miracles as we serve Him.
