It is no doubt exciting. Did you know that Jesus made appearances in the Old Testament?

These appearances which were pre-incarnate appearances of Christ occurred before he ever took on flesh at Bethlehem and he was seen. I want you to look at John 8 and verse 56 where here he is speaking to a Jewish audience and he says here in verse 56, Your Father Abraham rejoiced to see my day and he saw it and was glad. Now what did he mean by that? Well the people listening certainly understood. They looked at him and they said in verse 57, the Jews said to him, You’re not even 50 He was a 50 years old and have you seen Abraham?

They fully understood that he was saying that he had actually appeared to Abraham, was seen by Abraham and he saw Abraham and he’s saying here in verse 56 your father. Your Father Abraham rejoiced to see my day and he saw it and was glad. Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old and hast thou seen Abraham. Jesus makes this remarkable statement in verse 58 where he says unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, before Abraham was…

I am. Now that phrase, I am, is God’s personal name. This is the very name that God gave at the burning bush to Moses when Moses said, what is your name? We find that God said my name is I am. And that means he is the eternal God, the Creator, the one who is not bound by time but who lives in eternity, who whenever he intercepts time, he lives in the world. intercepts time in the present tense. And so he never says I was.

I’m not the God who was. I’m not the God that shall be. He says I am the God that presently exists. I am. Earlier in this wonderful chapter 8 of John, Jesus says in verse 24, I said therefore unto you that you shall die in your sins. For if you believe not that I I AM YOU SHALL NIE IN YOUR SINDS.” What an incredible verse. He’s saying here, if you believe not that I AM, there again is that name.

And basically he’s saying that if you do not recognize the deity of Christ, that Jesus Christ is the same God that appeared to Moses at the burning bush. The God that declared to Moses, that he was the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The God of creation. If you reject the deed of Christ, you’re lost and you will die accountable for your sins because you reject the one and only provision for your sin and that is Jesus Christ. Isn’t that incredible?

He says, you shall die in your sins, for if you believe not that I am, you shall die in your sins. Jesus apparently loved this title. He took it and amplified it for us by using it again and again and he said, I am the bread of life. I AM the light of the world. I AM the door. By me, if any man enter in, he shall be saved. I AM the resurrection and the life. I AM the way, the truth, and the life.

I AM the Alpha and the Omega. I AM the beginning and the end. And it goes on and on. Jesus apparently love this title. He is God, and he tells us new things about his person as he uses these different phrases, for example, I am the bread of life. In John 647, one of my favorite verses, it says, Verily, Verily, I say unto you, he, the believer, on me, has everlasting life. What an incredible verse. So simply put that if you believe or trust on Christ that you presently possess everlasting life.

It says he has it, you receive it with the moment you believe and possess it forever thereafter. And then the very next verse in John 648, Jesus says, I am that bread of life. In other words, he’s the one that provides for us eternal life to live with the Lord for ever and ever and ever is a result of trusting Christ as your Savior, to believe that He is God who took on human flesh, who went to the cross and shed His blood, and paid our sin debt and full, was buried and rose again from the dead.

When you trust that He is indeed that Savior, God saves you. Isn’t that great? Here we are in John’s Gospel chapter 8 and he says here, before Abraham was, I am. In other words, before Abraham was ever born, before Abraham was ever conceived, Jesus had existed from eternity past and has always been present and will always be present as he is the eternal God who has always existed and always will, who is the one who brought about time and space and what about the creation of the universe, of angels, and of all of us in the human race?

Wow, it is exciting! And he tells us that he is the only one in whom there is salvation. When you believe on him, you become saved. We find here in verse 30 of this wonderful chapter 8, as he spake these words, it says many believed on him. What does that mean? They trusted on him. They trusted him as their Savior. It says here many of them believe on him. That’s the way you become saved. I’m amazed today. And how many phrases are used that are not typical, where pastors tell you to invite Christ into your heart to be saved.

You can’t find that anywhere in the Bible. It doesn’t make any sense anyway. By the way, why did they choose your heart? Why didn’t they say invite Jesus into your kidney or into your thyroid or into some other organ? It doesn’t make any sense. Jesus Christ, nowhere does he say that we are to invite him into our heart. The Bible says we’re to trust or believe is the English word, but the Greek word best means trust Jesus Christ as the Savior that he claims that he is.

By his death and shed blood, paid our sin debt. And when we trust him as Savior, God saves us. And the invitations that we have today are oftentimes unscriptural, misleading, and perhaps unfortunately will not save anyone because in all of the confusion they never really just trust Christ as Savior. Here is an interesting lesson for us in verse 30. As you state these words, many believe on him. That means they got saved. They trusted him as their Savior. Then notice, there’s a switch here, and this is what is called rightly dividing the word of truth.

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him. Notice he’s addressing those that just had gotten saved. That just had at that moment believed on him, trusted him as their Savior. He then addresses these believers and says, if you continue in my word, then are you my disciples indeed? He doesn’t say, if you continue in my word, you’re saved. It doesn’t make salvation a process. Salvation is not a process. Salvation is received by an act of faith at a point in time and is irreversible.

The moment you trust Christ, my friend, you become saved eternally. He says here, if you continue in my word, then you are my disciples. There’s a difference between being saved and being a disciple. You can be saved and not be a disciple, which I think is true of most Christians. They become saved but never serve the Lord, never become followers of Christ and serving Him. And by the way, Christ said when he asked his disciples to follow him, he said, follow me and I’ll make you a fisher of men.

He claimed to be followers of Christ, and yet they never attempt to lead anyone to Christ. They truly are not followers of Christ. If you follow Christ, you will follow Him in order that you might become a Fisher-Ben, or you’re not following Christ. I used to sing that song years ago, and some churches and some still singing, I’m following Jesus. Each step of the way and so on. I didn’t mean to break you into the song, I probably got a lot of people turning their radio off at this moment.

But you know, they sing the song, but they have no idea about what it means to follow Christ. After you become saved, we ought to become fishers of men, who ought to become soul owners. Every believer is commissioned with a great commission to go into all the world and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ every creature. But we’re not saved by doing that. We are saved by trusting Christ. But then we ought to become disciples. And Christ is telling us here that that requires you to continue.

If you continue in the Word of God, then you are my disciples indeed. So as we continue not only reading and studying the Word but applying it in our lives, we become disciples and the Word of God will direct our paths so that we’re doing exactly what he wants us to do. You could be a disciple though and not be a believer. And that’s the case with Judas. Did you know that Judas never trusted Christ and Savior? Judas went to hell not because he betrayed Christ, not because he committed suicide.

Judas went to hell because he never ever was a believer. John 664, Jesus said he knew from the beginning who they were that believed not and who should betray him. He identifies Judas as being an unbeliever among the twelve. So you can be a disciple and go to hell. You can be a disciple and not be a believer. And Judas was a disciple and went to hell because he never trusted Christ. So you can be a believer and not be a disciple and you can be a disciple and not be a believer.

Does that make sense? I think you have to sit down and just think a little bit. Here we have Jesus speaking to an unsafe audience. Many of them, as they heard him, believed on him and became saved. Then he addresses those that just had believed and became saved and says, if you continue in my word, then you are my disciples indeed. So discipleship, being a follower of Christ, being a servant of Christ, requires continuance in the Word of God and applying it in your lives.

I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom. I’m Dr. Englund Strem, this is Bibleline. We’re coming to you live out of Tampa, Florida, from our studios here at the Calvary Community Church in Tampa. We’re on the pastor. We’re excited about being with you. This is Friday, so we won’t be live again until Monday on the air, but we will in the Tampa Bay area be playing our programs throughout the weekend, 10 o’clock every day, seven days a week at 10 to 11 Eastern Standard Time.

Where our phone lines are all lighted up, we’ve got tons of all fair questions. We’re going to try to start tackling it right now. Again, the phone number is 1-800-576-3771. We have Kathy in Seminole, Florida. Kathy, welcome to Bibleline you are on the air. Thank you, sir. Wonderful message today. Thank you. And I’ve heard so much about losing your salvation. And I wonder if you could explain to me 2nd Peter, 2nd chapter verses 20 and 21. And I believe there is a scripture in Corinthians 1st or 2nd that says something about losing rewards but not your salvation.

Can you refresh my memory on that? Sure. That’s in 1 Corinthians chapter 3 verse 15 where it’s describing there the judgment of Christ where one day our works will be examined for degree of reward in heaven and it says in verse 15 if any man’s works shall be burned that is at that judgment when our works are examined by fire it says he shall suffer loss that’s loss of reward but then it says but he himself shall be saved that’s what I was looking for that’s incredible so even if you did nothing you’d still be saved and that wonderful hallelujah for that amen but anything that we do anything that we do for the Lord every day is going to be rewarded one day at that judgment.

But if you’ve done nothing which that verse implies, you could absolutely do nothing and still be saved because if our work for all burned up, we’d suffer loss of reward but we would still be saved. Anyway, this passage in Peter is all about false teachers. It’s not talking about saved people. If you begin in chapter 2 and verse 1, it says there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you who privately or in a secret way bring in damnable heresies.

It says even denying the Lord that bought them and bring upon themselves with instructions. But these are people that deny the Lord as being the only means of their salvation and are lost. And many, verse 2, tells us many follow their ways, their pernicious ways, by reason of whom the way of truth which is Christ shall be evil spoken of and through covetousness and with fame or false words make merchandise of you. How many ministers today are making merchandise of people?

It’s all about money and they’re just fleecing the flock. Here the Bible is talking about these false prophets. I’m going to jump all the way to verse 17 Where it says here? These are wells without water Which you’re carried about with a tempest and to whom the mist of darkness is reserved forever clearly they’re going to hell and They’ll be in the mist of darkness forever Which is hell and then if you notice all the pronouns here it says when they speak great swelling words of vanity They and you’ll notice they they they they verse 19 while they promise them liberty they themselves are the servants of corruption.

Verse 20, for if after they, again we are still talking about the same people all the way from chapter 2 verse 1 on, the false teachers and false prophets, if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are entangled again, they are in and overcome. A letter in his works with them at the beginning. Talking about those who live in a so-called Christian environment, but are false teachers.

Many times escape many of the moral collisions of this world. You think of the cults. The Mormons come nice and neat, white shirts and ties and well-groomed and clean and perfumed up and yet they’re lost but they escape a lot of the immorality and the immoral things that are happening in this world. But yet they’re in deep trouble because they’ve never trusted the Lord. Here’s the key verse, verse 21 says, for it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness that’s Jesus than after they had known it.

He said, I have a great cross-reference here. It says, this is his commandment that we believe on Jesus his son. So when you believe on Christ, you become saved. But these that are in cults and different false teachings actually never trust the Lord. They turn from the commandment to trust Christ and they attempt to be saved by their works and they deny the Lord as a says in chapter 2 verse 1. and they bring upon themselves swift destruction. So they’re ultimately going to be cast into hell where it says in verse 17, they’re already reserved to whom the midst of darkness is reserved forever.

It’s reserved for all and saved people. And these are unsafe people. So they never say to begin with, these are people that are lost and deny Christ, but yet they do escape a lot of the moral pollutions of the world. I know I was raised in church, But the message of my church was works for salvation and everybody was trying to live right, keep the commandments and work our way to heaven gaining new heights every day. But we were lost as could be because we never knew that by simply trusting in the finished worker Christ we’d be saved.

What a difference that made in my life. So these are people that are working their way to heaven, living perhaps a life that’s free from any of the pollution of the moral corruption of this world but there’s still loss because they’ve turned from the commandment to trust Christ. Okay well I thank you so much for your time and I will continue listening for every I love your program. Thank you Kathy in Seminole. What do we have now? Debbie in Chesterfield Virginia.

Debbie welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Good morning as I understand it during the Millennium Planet birth will have perfect environment. Does the Bible say what happens after that? Is it destroyed or does the earth continue? Can we enjoy it? The Bible says the earth will be destroyed. Verse 11 of chapter 20, Revelation describes it, fleeing away from the presence of the Lord. Chapter 21, John says, and I John saw a new heavens and a new earth for the former heavens and the former earth were passed away.

So the earth will be destroyed as we know it. Some believe it’s a renovation by fire. 2 Peter chapter 3 verse 10 talks about this earth being destroyed by fire. And then it says in verse 13 of 2 Peter 3 the same thing that he saw in new heavens and a new earth. And that’s where we’re going to be forever. We’re going to live in the New Jerusalem, the heavenly city, which will come down. And I believe it will be opening the planet Earth and will enjoy the Earth and the New Jerusalem and will live with the Lord forever and ever.

Okay. Well, thank you so much and thank you for staying true to the Word and the matter who it may have fanned and your faithfulness and your teaching. Thank you so much, Debbie. And God bless us, Debbie in Chesterfield, Virginia. And we’re now going to go to Adam in Tampa. Adam, welcome to Bibleline. You’re on the air. Yes, I have a few quick questions when I was going on a break. But first question is where is the verse where we will much greater works than these where Jesus says that.

Yes. It’s in John’s Gospel Chapter 12 and I believe the greater works that we do are non-physical works. In other words, we as carriers of the gospel can bring people that are spiritually dead to life where they’ll live forever and ever. You know, if I healed somebody here and the actual verse number is Chapter 14, I said chapter 14 of John verse 12 where Jesus says, very, very I say unto you, he the belief upon me, the works that I do, shall he also, he shall do also, and greater works than these shall he do because I go to my father.

And that is what if he did heal somebody and they lived a few more years and died without Christ and went to hell, you wouldn’t have done them much of a favor. The greater work is to bring the new birth and bring them into God’s family by having them trust Christ as their Savior. And the spiritual miracles are much greater than the ones in the physical realm, which are only temporary, but the spiritual miracles of leading people to Christ and getting believers set free from false teachings and getting them on the road to leading people to Christ and serving the Lord into their Bibles and affecting other lives is much more powerful.

Okay, one more quick question, 13 versus 12. Sure, 1 Corinthians 13, 12, and I’m turning there right now. in verse 12. A first Corinthians 13, it says, now we see through a glass darkly. I hope this is the correct verse you want. But then face to face. Now I know in part, but then shall I know even as I have known. It’s talking here about the gifts and how that when the Word of God comes, that then we will have God’s completed revelation and will no longer know in part.

So it says here I know in part. Remember up earlier it talks about the gift of knowledge and it says in verse 9 we know in part. And so that was just a partial revelation of God’s word through the different ones that had bits and pieces of truth from God’s word. But when he finally got the scriptures written down the New Testament record was completed, then we have the full revelation and I’m holding a copy of it in my hand right now.

So now we can really see what God has to say about us and about our future. Thank you for calling and we are now going to have to go to break. It’s amazing how quickly the program goes and we’re going to do a second half hour. I hope everybody listening is trusted Christ of Savior. There’s only one way to be saved. By the way, pray for us. And if you could help us this month with a gift that would be so appreciated.

You could call and give a gift by credit card over the phone. You can also ask for an envelope to be sent and mail a gift to Bibleline. But consider, would you? Being a partner with Bible Land. We gotta take a break, we’ll be right back, don’t go away. And we’ll do a second half hour of Bible Land, don’t miss it. Don’t go away, Bible Land will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771.

Hi, I’m Dr. Englund, Striman. It’s great to be with you every day. We sure enjoy being with you. And you know, it’s a miracle that we’re on the air because… We really don’t know how we’re able to be on the air because it, well we do know, it’s God because he’s faithful. To raise up people just like you who listen and enjoy the program, to partner with us and keep this program on the air. We never have had enough money to do the program when we first started.

We were offered the opportunity to do a 15-minute program and the price was out of our range. We didn’t have the money to do that just on one station here in Tampa, Florida. And as I prayed about it for a couple of weeks, I came to the final day when I said, Lord, what should we do? We don’t have the money to pay for that program. A friend I hadn’t seen for years pulled up in the parking lot as I looked out the windows I was praying.

He came in and shook my hand and handed me a check and we chatted and he said, Aren’t you look at that check? And I said, Okay, if you’d like me too, I didn’t want to look at the check in his presence. He said, I just don’t got directly me to give this to you for whatever need is present right now, whatever you need to have done, just take this money to use it. And so I opened it up in his presence and it was for $30,000.

And I said, wow, you don’t know what a prayer has been answered here because I’ve been praying. I told him the story. And that’s how our program began. And that got us going. And then as the Lord raised up people who listened, who enjoyed the program, we were able to pay those bills. And then the program had an opportunity to go to a half hour and then to an hour and then beyond Tampa. And all along the Lord has continued to supply by raising up people just like you who hear the program and are blessed by it and want to be a part of seeing it continue and to grow.

God bless all of you. God for every one of you. And without you, we could not be on the air. That’s just a fact. And it’s ever been since the beginning. Well, in any case, if you’d like to help us, we would sure appreciate it. It would be a great time for you to come through for us. If you would call our operators, they can take a gift by credit card over the phone. You can also, if you like, ask for an envelope to be mailed to you with our address on it.

And just mail a gift back to Bible. You can also order on our online bookstore, on the internet, and you can also purchase some of the things from our resource center that will also help us some financially. In any case, God bless you and thank you for prayers and thank you for giving. And we’re going to rejoin the stations who have been on break and do a second half hour of Bibleline. And I hope that you will join us for the second half hour.

Here we go, so keep your radio held tight. Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. All right, we’re back for now breaking. This is Bibleline. Great to be with you. Thank you so much for tuning in today. We appreciate all of our listeners. We appreciate you. We thank you for tuning in today. and we hope that you’ll have a wonderful weekend and come back and join us again on Monday live.

If you’re in the Tampa Bay area, you’ll be able to hear us Saturday and Sunday. In case you didn’t know that, we played the best of on Saturday and Sunday, and you’ll be able to hear us throughout the weekend. Also, all of you that have internet access will be able to hear us not only throughout the weekend, but any day of the week, any time of day, from anywhere in the world. The world. 150 countries have logged in from all of the world, from Asia, from Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, the Pacific Islands, Africa, Europe, Middle East, South America, Central America, all over the world.

People have found Bibleline, and we’re excited about that. We get calls in here all the time, from all over the country, of people that are finding Bibleline. And that’s a tribute to all of you who pray for us and give the Bible and make it possible for us to be on the air. We are not underwritten by any group. We are supported by God through people just like you who listen and enjoy the program and say, I’d like to be a part of that.

I’d like to assure that Bibleline continues. And really, without your continuance in giving in prayer, we would not be on the air. Because we can’t, we don’t have any other source. We don’t have any major overhead because we don’t pay any salaries. Everybody working with my blindness of volunteer isn’t that amazing. God has allowed us to really stretch ourselves way out there because we don’t have those other expenses to bog us down. But it’s still costly as we have to pay for satellite time, equipment time, phone pills and other expenses.

Of course, the radio time is not cheap to be on the air. It costs a lot of money. We have to trust God to supply that through people just like you. Anyway, we’re hoping you’re enjoying Bibleline, and we thank you for listening. If you’ll pass that word along to your friends, we’d appreciate that. Again, get in contact with us. Call and ask for a resource sheet to be sent to you. at our Bibleline Ministries website, bybalignministries.org. And join our worship services or watch them in archive throughout the week, as well as catch our radio programs and you can download those for your iPod and carry those around with you wherever you go.

We’re now gonna go to the phone lines and we have Bob in Scranton, Pennsylvania and Bob, welcome to Bibleize, great to be on the air. I appreciate it. I want to ask you if you could explain Genesis chapter 1 verse 26 and 27 and also explain Genesis chapter 2 verse 7. In verse 26 and 27 it says, God created a man in his own image but in Genesis chapter 2 verse 7 it said, the Lord God formed man out of the dust of the ground.

So I want to ask, I’m going to hang up and now you can you explain those verses please. I’ll be glad to do that. Thank you Bob and okay. Scranton Pennsylvania and Genesis 120, this is God bless them and over 27. So God created man in his own image in the image of God created he him, male and female created he them. The word for God there is little him and it is plural in the Hebrew and it means three or more.

So I believe that part of the meaning, and I think the meaning is much deeper than we think on the surface. It’s not necessarily talking about a physical appearance like you would see in the, in the, in the, in the, in the mirror, but it’s really talking about the fact that God is a triune being. He also creates us as a triune being that we are body, soul and spirit. We are a trinity as well. We also know that we are like God in many other ways.

God is a volitional God. We are created as volitional people. We are rational. God is rational. God is emotional. We are emotional. And so in so many ways we’re created like God. And so not necessarily a physical image, but I think it’s much deeper than that. eternally, and he created us according to 1 Corinthians 15 as an ever living soul, one that would never ever die. And so eternal life is forever. And once you trust Christ, you’ll live forever with the Lord.

But even if you died without Christ, you’d live forever, but you’d live forever in hell, which obviously is not an acceptable option. Then of course as far as the physical makeup of our human trinity, we’re made or fashioned from the dust of the ground. And so God took the dust of the ground and fashioned man’s body. And what is interesting that is very scientifically accurate. Scientists have discovered that our human bodies are made up of 16 basic elements, of course many more trace elements, but 16 basic elements.

But they’ve also discovered that the dust of the ground is created, it has 16 basic elements to it, of course many other trace elements, but they’re the same identical 16 elements. Can you believe that? That’s more than a coincidence that we really truly are made of the dust of the ground. And we are reading a book that’s very scientifically accurate. And what is being pointed out there in chapter 2 verse 7 also is that we are separated completely from the animal kingdom and the plant kingdom.

We are not the product of evolution, but God took special effort to create man separately from all the animals and took dust and fashioned man and breathed his nostrils the breath of life. God did not have some kind of an apryphine or a conveyor belt and put apes on it one in and pop off human beings at the other end of the conveyor belt. We were not a part of any evolutionary chain. And by the way, there is no evolutionary chain.

There is no evolution. Evolution cannot be demonstrated and is not provable. It’s not even a theory. I graduated in electrical engineering. And if you know what the scientific method is, you have to hypothesize as to a solution to a question you have, and then you have to design an experiment to confirm or disaffirm your hypothesis, which is the word for a guess, and then largeDownload you have to make observations and collect data and finally draw your conclusion. A theory really has only arrived after a hypothesis has been tested.

There is no test to prove the guess of evolution, and that’s all it really is when you look at the facts, itORKS the guess of evolution and of course itís a bad guess, itís a wrong guess, there is no evolution whatsoever. Bob, I hope that helps a little bit. I have a whole series, verse by verse, on the book of Genesis, that is a great study that people have really enjoyed over the years and we go verse by verse through all these things.

You might decide to get something like that and we also have some separate standalone individual tapes on the creation and on those early chapters of Genesis I think you’ll like them. Bob in Scranton Pennsylvania thank you for calling. We’re now going to Alice and Alice is in Punta Gorda, Florida. I think it’s Punta Gorda, Florida but Alice welcome to Bible End. Hello. Hi Alice you’re on the air. Yes, good morning. I have an educated opinion I need from you.

If I mayzhen, please say that I am still here, but then I pass away. Okay, I’m absent in the body and present with the Lord. What do you think would be the best to do with my physical part? Should I be buried or should I be cremated? Well, today nobody’s making any statement, but there were times in history when those that were cremated, we’re saying they didn’t believe in life after death. I don’t think that’s what’s being said anymore.

I think it’s a matter of economics. It costs so much to do a funeral service. And many times those left behind have to pay for that for many years to come. And so I’m finding myself doing more and more. He’s a general service for those that are being cremated. I don’t really have much say so. I’m invited after the person is deceased and the plans are already made and they do that. But it doesn’t really affect your eternity. If you’re a believer, you’re absent from the body, present with the Lord, this body’s going to return back to dust either over a long process of time or in the cremation process rather quickly.

And so it doesn’t really make any difference. I believe if you were a believer in the that are being cremated. I don’t really have much say so. I’m invited after the person is deceased and the plans are already made and they do that. But it doesn’t really affect your eternity. If you’re a believer, you’re absent from the body, present with the Lord, this body is going to return back to dust either over a long process of time or in the cremation process rather quickly.

And so it doesn’t really make any difference. I believe if you were. making a statement that would mislead people then you certainly would never want to be cremated. But I think if you have a Christian ceremony and people are informed that you’re a believer and that you’re with the Lord and that you’re not going to need the body you had here anymore but you’re getting a new body in heaven that it’s no problem at all. Am I heavenly body?

It wouldn’t matter if I were cremated or prayed here on earth. not at all. If God needs the exact molecules, I think you can find them. I don’t think that’s a problem for God. So, you can do anything. He can do it all and I wouldn’t worry about it. And some people are cremated without even wanting to. I mean, if you got in a horrific fire in a burning building and you would be cremated without your consent and yet you’d still be as a believer saved and you’d get anybody in heaven, it’s not a problem for God at all.

Okay. Thank you very much. Alright, I was thank you for calling from Pundegorda in Florida, here south of Tampa. You’re welcome to call in if you’d like we’d love to have you we’ve got so many offer questions I think I just have to grab a few of these Lorena in Yorkville, North New York calls and leaves this offer question. Please explain don’t catch your pearls before swine I think that’s talking about taking the wonderful message of the Bible and casting it to people who who don’t want it who don’t appreciate it, don’t want to know it at all.

And so sometimes you have to just say, if somebody doesn’t want to hear the Bible, you have to say, well, then I’ll be praying for you, but it’s unfortunate you’re turning down this wonderful message. But obviously we are simply responsible to present it or to invite people to trust the the Lord, but our success is based upon our faithfulness in giving it. Moses, not Moses, but Noah preached for 120 years and no one, no one, no one trusted the Lord.

And the whole 20 years, yet the Bible said he was a faithful preacher of righteousness in 2 Peter tells us that. And so isn’t it wonderful that he was not successful with people getting saved, but in God’s sight, he was successful because he had a concern, and for 120 years he faithfully proclaimed the message. Wow! Who of us today would be continuing on proclaiming the message if we had no results, no one getting saved. Can you imagine doing that for just a year and having no results?

Wouldn’t you be discouraged? How about 10 years? Wouldn’t you be discouraged? No one trusts the Lord. How about 20 years? Wouldn’t that discourage you terribly? But here Noah kept going 30, 40 years, 50 years, 60 years, 70 years, 80 years. He’s still preaching 90 years, 100 years. No wonder he’s one of the heroes of the Bible for 120 years. He proclaimed the message even though nobody responded. So God said, you’re a faithful preacher, Noah. He got an A on his report card.

Just read the Hall of Fame chapter in Hebrews 11 and see what you see. Noah is in there. He’s a great hero for doing that. Thank you, Marina in New York. Share the Gospel. The Bible says in Titus, if a person is a heretic after the first and second admonition, move on to somebody else. There are people seeking. people searching, are people that want to hear, and so don’t spend all your time on people that just absolutely don’t want to hear it.

We have Joe in Pimbroke, Pines, Florida. He says Oprah Winfrey had a show on transgender people. Are these people sick or is this perversion in their hearts? I know no matter what they can be saved by trusting in Christ alone. Well, this is true. These people need to be saved. But I think a lot of this is a psychological problem and they definitely need Need help sometimes this is caused by the environment that they’re raised in and sometimes A parent’s one little boy and they get a little girl and sometimes they want a little girl and they get a little boy and they still try to dress them like the six that they wanted and so on.

And I think they miss with their minds and I think this is part of the problem. I’m not a psychiatrist or psychologist, but I know that a lot of things I’ve read, tell us that the environment definitely shapes a lot of these things. So. We need to pray for anybody that’s in that dilemma. Obviously, a heartache and a nightmare for them and for those who are related to them. We have Mike in St. Peter’s brief. Off the air leaves this question.

Do you think believers who have died and are now in heaven can see what’s happening on the earth? And Mike, the answer is no. They cannot see what’s happening here. That would bring sorrow to heaven. But there is one thing that the Bible says that they are informed about things that are happening here on the earth. When somebody gets saved, they are then informed when somebody gets saved. It tells us in Luke chapter 15 when one person on earth gets saved that there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels over that one soul that gets saved.

Well, you know, that tells me that they learn about people down here getting saved. And when a person gets saved, apparently that person’s name is announced in heaven, and the believers in heaven do the rejoicing in the presence of angels which are spectating and are observing that. So that’s about all that they get to know. And thank God, right, that we wouldn’t be observing the sinful earth and all of its problems while we’re in heaven, but we are informed of the things that really count when souls get saved.

We rejoice in heaven that they’ll never spend the eternity in hell. We have Orlando now in Orange City, Florida and Orlando. Welcome to Bibleline You’re On The Earth. I bless you. I have two questions. First one, the 144,000, I was hearing a comment on it and They were saying that the teacher was saying that there was a penny, but there was a certain thing about that. The tribe of them, because it wasn’t mentioned in the 144,000, that maybe it could be the church and not Israelites.

And I don’t know if you have an insight on that. And also, Revelation talks about the churches and your crown shall be taken away. different things you know you’re crowning candlestick a few you out i think that talking non-believers in the church but uh… like to hear your spin on that and i’ll just hang up and hear your comments on the radio thank you all right or lander thank you very much for for asking as far as a those in revelation chapter two in chapter three i was talking to believers primarily, but it’s talking about loss of service, loss of testimony, loss of opportunity.

Each church is pictured as a lampstand, which is a light. The fact that we as believers have this wonderful privilege of being able to shed light or to bring the light of the gospel to lost people is a wonderful privilege. These churches departed away from scripture and from the Lord. said that he might take away their opportunity to be a light or a lamp in this world. So all of us as believers need to cherish that wonderful privilege we have and try to proclaim them to as many as we can, the wonderful gospel story.

And so that’s the wonderful truth. As far as the 144,000 and the tribe of Dan might being mentioned back in Genesis it implies that the Antichrist will come out of the tribe of Dan. And that’s why God will not use Dan in the tribulation period as a witnessing tribe. We find that he takes Joseph who received a double blessing and that Joseph there makes up the difference with his two sons Ephraim and Manassas. And then of course in the millennium, when Christ is back, Dan is back in the list of tribes that will have the land assigned to them in the Middle East that has been promised back all the way back to Abraham.

And so Dan will have a stand or place again the future in the millennium. But in the tribulation period, apparently the Antichrist is called the one where the serpent, the adder comes from that strikes Christ in the heel. And that’s in Genesis 49, an incredible prophecy where Isaac He gives a prophecy about what would happen to his twelve sons. I think that’s the reason why Dan is not there in that listing in Revelation 7 with the twelve tribes and the hundred four to four thousand.

Thank you for that call. We now have Jim in St. Petersburg and Jim. Welcome to Bibleline. Thank you very much and God bless you. I have a question about a lady that has started uh… very widespread bible study called bible study and fellowship miss a weather rail johnson have you ever heard of her and could you give me some insight that i can pass on to my ex-wife because she’s been going to these bible studies for about five years now and i did a little google search on it and it is demonic in my opinion well that’s usually the case with most bible women teachers they usually don’t get it right all have to uh…

looked at what i was often to the google but i i really haven’t heard of her i don’t know how extensive her bible studies are but all i’ll go ahead and take a look myself and uh… maybe i’ll become more informed as a result of this call but i would be able to explain it to my ex-wife in a way that will open her eyes because she got rather upset with me last night because like i said she’s been involved with them for five years now and and uh…

is basically uh… very intrusive they ask a lot of personal questions that you answer and front of the groups and they use the and i the uh… and yeah she invited me to go to work they have separate meetings one from them one for women and she uh… told me where the men’s meeting was i went and when they said that they use the n i d i ask them if they were aware of the problems with it he says yeah but they they don’t bother us we we don’t have a problem with uh…

you know some of the things that’s been said about and i walked out uh… that is a Jehovah’s Witness Bible as far as I’m concerned it’s almost work for work for the new world translation and new internet version they’re the same as far as I’m concerned and if they can you if they use that Bible to do their Bible studies in their in error i agree i’ll take a look at it maybe we can get back on this next week and uh…

I’ll try to do my homework and maybe Monday or so we’ll make a comment. Thank you very much. Thank you Jim in St. Petersburg. A lot of false teaching today. Jesus warned about what it would be like in the last days. In Matthew 24 verse 4 he says, do not be deceived. Many false teachers and preachers will come in my name. And I think that we’re seeing an avalanche. You know, there was very few cults until about the middle of the 1800s, and then all of a sudden, there are thousands of different isms and asms and spasms that have come along.

And I’ve taught the cults before, and it really is a constant moving study because they change and they always stay the same with what they believe and they get worse They just, what you might say that they believe at one point, they change your mind about or they get980 worse than that area as time goes on as a mess. The one thing that doesn’t change is the Bible. If you have a good Bible, God promises he’ll never change his word.

The word of God liveeth and abide forever. Peter says in 1 Peter 1, 25, so we can have confidence that God said it and we believe it. That settles it. We have Rod in Charles County, Virginia, calling in and Rod says, how, off air, how does the function of the soul and spirit differ? The soul is the real you and the spirit is the part of your non-physical makeup that allows you to have contact with the spirit world. So in other words, the spirit allows a flow of information in the spirit world to your soul just as your body allows a flow of information from the physical realm to your soul through your body.

My body and your body has five senses and those senses allow us to get information from the physical world around us. Touch, spell, sight, hearing and so on. Allow us to feed information to our soul about the environment right around us. Our spirit allows us to do that with the spirit world. It is a believer. Our spirits become no longer separated from God and can really become enlightened in God’s Word and God can enlighten us as we read it once we become saved.

unsafe man. Really doesn’t get much out of the Bible at all. He’s spiritually dead. We have Armando now in St. Petersburg. Armando, welcome to Bibleline. Good morning, Dr. Lindstrom. Good morning. Do you know that the Jehovah Witnesses, they’re making calls to the houses? I know they’re going out two by two and they also go and have Bible studies and they’re really a fast-growing movement and they’re clearly calls. And nobody should be studying with the witnesses if they don’t want to be really misled and become a part of the cult.

This lady called me over to my house and invited me to the Bible. I shared with the gospel. I actually believed that Jesus said God wasn’t Christ reconciling the Word to himself. She didn’t believe that. I’m telling you something that isn’t a Bible. You don’t believe it. But I have the opportunity to share the Gospel with her. Good for you. That’s the way it is. Thank you Armando. We’ve got to run. Our time has run out. I hope you’ll trust Jesus as your only hope for heaven if you haven’t.

Once you do, you’re saved forever. You’re stuck. You might want to take some of the resources we have that will help you in leading your friends and family to Christ. If you could pray for Bibleline, we’d appreciate it. and also if you could give a gift to Bible and call and give one over the phone. Would you buy credit card? God bless. Keep looking up. Have a great weekend and we’ll see you again live on Monday. In the meantime, keep looking up.
