We’re going to get to the Bible in a few minutes and then we’ll be answering questions from you on the air and off air. So make sure that you call in if you have a question and we’ll try to get that answered here this morning. You know that number 1-800-576-3771. 1-800-576-3771 and we’re going to talk about the Bible. We have mentioned on Monday that the birth date of Christ is not the 7th or 25th. We’re not going to attempt to change that.

I’m going to celebrate the 7th or 25th myself. that the real date, and we talked about calculating that date, was probably today. Today is Christ’s birthday, October 31st. And if you really want to get some more detail, go to my website and click on the camera and catch this past Sunday’s message where I go into great detail pointing out why Christ was probably born on October 31st. you say, Halloween? Well, remember, Satan wants to rob the glory from Christ, and he’s tried to take that day away from Christ and make it his own.

And he’s been pretty successful. And even December 25th, he’s been successful in substituting Santa for Jesus. Have you noticed that? Take the letter N in Santa, slide it to the N, then you’ve got what? Satan, that’s That’s right, you don’t need another letter, delete a letter, you just take one letter and slide it to the end. And it’s interesting that the color red is associated with Satan. He’s the dragon in Revelation 12 and his color is red. Also you’ll notice about Santa that he takes a lot of the attributes of Christ for himself.

He’s omniscient. He knows whether every child has been good or bad. He’s able to answer prayer requests and he is to be prayed to or appeal to as children He’s able to be Christ’s Eve everywhere in the world at one time delivering gifts to every child on the earth and so on and so on. He has really stolen the major place at Christ’s time when it’s really Christ birthday but the same thing gets all the glory. It’s interesting and we’re not going to be covering it today but you can go back to the end.

you can go back and catch that message on the Internet, or you can get a CD of the Sunday message for a gift of $5 plus shipping, and we’ll send it up to you and you can review that. I think it’s great to be able to know these things so you can talk to your friends and it’s a conversation opener about when was Christ really born, and then you can tell them the true story of Christ and hopefully lead them to a saving knowledge of Christ.

Christ. Wouldn’t it be great? Well, we have lots of resources here. We have the gospel. John, we just finished 20 hours of teaching. A class I just finished teaching 20 hours verse by verse explaining John’s gospel. We’ve got the book of Revelation. We’ve got the book of Daniel. We’ve got a course on parables. A lot of people don’t realize that parables were written to concealed truth, not to revealed truth. Christ said in Mark 4, 12, that He spoke in parables to those that were unsaved so that seeing they would not see and that hearing they would not hear and less than any time they should understand and their sins should be forgiven them.

And it’s interesting that most people have the opposite view on parables. They are definitely written to conceal truth from those who don’t want to know truth. And so you have to be careful when a preacher spends a lot of time on the parables. Often times it’s because he can make them present or present them as saying whatever he wants them to say. And I have lots of commentaries in my library and you can take any parable you want and go to the commentaries.

You might get as many as six with six inventories. Six different ideas about what they’re about. You have to know how to interpret them. And that course I taught on parables teaches you how to interpret them. And we take some of the most difficult ones and interpret them for you. Call and you can order these on the, over the telephone, you can order them from the online bookstore. You can also ask for a resource sheet to be sent to you and we’ll be happy to send it out to you.

You know, there’s a lot of teaching today that is not correct. You’ll hear invitations sometime that say something to the effect that you need to forsake Christ, rather forsake all and follow Christ and take up this cross daily and all these kind of things. And that’s not the gospel. That has to do with the Christian life. In order to interpret the Bible correctly, you have to rightly divide and separate between salvation and the Christian life. I’ll give you an example.

If you turn to John 8, I love this passage because Christ in this passage is talking to unsaved people. As he tells them that he’s the Savior, that he is God in flesh. It says in verse 30 of John 8, and as he spaked these things, many believed on him. Stop. Many got saved right there. They believed on him. That word believed means to trust. So they trusted him as Savior. But then I want you to notice the very next verse in John 8, 31.

It says, then it said, Jesus to those which believed on him. Now he addresses those that had just gotten saved. And now notice what he says. He says, if you continue in my word, then are you my disciples indeed? So in other words, after you become saved, if you continue in my word, he doesn’t say you’ll be saved. He says, if you continue in my word, then you are my disciples. A disciple is somebody who continues and is serving and is following and forsakes all is willing to do whatever the Lord wants him to do.

Salvation is received at the instant you believe and is possessed forever and has nothing to do with our Christian life. But our Christian life has to do with rewards in order to be In effective Christian we need to continue. That was one of the marks of the early church. If you look at Acts 2, 3,000 people got saved on Pentecost. And then it says about these many that became saved and they continued steadfastly. And the number one thing they continue to list about five things here is the Apostles doctrine.

That’s the Word of God. That’s exactly what Jesus, 831. If you continue in my Word, you might disciples indeed. So here we find the early church was strong and dynamic because they continued in the Word. And so as a believer, the moment you believe you become saved. But then you need to make a second decision where you choose to be a disciple or follow Christ and that’s where rewards and blessings come in. Let me give you a quote here.

This is from Dr. M.R. Dahan. He was a a real mentor of mine, founder of the Radio Bible class, who is a medical doctor that really got into the word and had an international radio program and was a powerful influence on me. Here is a quote from his book on the book of Hebrews and he says, and I quote, there is a vast difference between coming to Jesus for salvation and coming after Jesus for service. Coming to Christ makes one a believer, coming after Christ makes one a disciple.

All believers are not disciples. To become a believer one accepts the invitation of the gospel. To be a disciple one obeys the challenge to a life of dedicated service and separation. Salvation comes through the sacrifice of Christ. Discipleship comes only by sacrifice of self and surrender to his call for devoted service. Salvation is free, but discipleship involves paying the price of a separated walk. Salvation cannot be lost because it depends upon God’s faithfulness, but discipleship can be lost because it depends upon our faithfulness.

So there’s a tremendous difference here. That was Dr. M. Arduhan, his book on Hebrews published by Zandervin, page 159, rather page 117, and a great book. And Dr. Han really had a handle on things. But there’s this difference. For myself, I got saved the night, I believe, at 18. But it wasn’t until I was 19, a year later, that I became a disciple. I trusted Christ, but I was a secret believer for an entire year before I chose to serve the Lord.

And that’s when I became a disciple and followed after Christ. Whereas I came to Christ for salvation and received that as a gift at the moment I believed, but I became a disciple when I chose to serve the Lord. So there’s a difference and it’s important to make that distinction known. You can be a believer and not be a disciple. Many are believers and not disciples. You can be a disciple and not be a believer. Judas was an example of that.

Judas never trusted Christ. And that’s why Judas went to hell. He didn’t go to hell because he betrayed Christ. He didn’t go to hell because he committed suicide. He went to hell because he never, ever believed on the Lord Jesus Christ. 664 among many other verses talk about Judas never, never being a believer. Isn’t it incredible? That is mind-boggling to me. We’re going to go to the phone lines. The phone number is 1-800-576-3771, 1-800-576-3771. We have Loretta in Richmond, Virginia, and Loretta, welcome to Bible Island.

Turn your radio down, Loretta, and this is Loretta in Richmond, Virginia. And that radio is still up. We’ll just hold on to Loretta for a minute. We’re going to go to Anonymous in Texas, Florida. Anonymous, welcome to Bible Life. Hi, Sir. How are you? Good. What’s happening? Hi. I got a question about suicide. There’s a lot of people in this area basically that believes that, yeah, you can’t lose your salvation, but you commit suicide. Then you do lose your salvation.

And I know that you’re not explaining from the point of view that Samson lost where Samson committed suicide, but to bring it to the great dispensation, he’s also in the New Testament. How do I explain about suicide though? Well, you know… Well, you know, uh, Jesus said in John 637, him that come up to me, I will and know why is cast out. He doesn’t put in there except for suicide. He says, I will not know why or in no case, under no circumstance would Christ ever cast you out.

It has nothing to do with anything that you would do. This is really from the Roman Catholic Church. The Roman Catholic Church doesn’t connect the knots very well. And they assumed because Judas committed suicide and then he went to hell, that he went to hell because he committed suicide. That’s not the the correct answer. He went to hell because he never was a believer. So you have to point out John 664 and the reason why Judas was not saved.

He was not saved because he never trusted Christ. And it’s really that simple. There is no verse that says you, if you commit suicide, you’ll go to hell. In fact, every manner of sin or all manner of sin and blasphemies shall be forgiven, the Bible says. And once you trust Christ, you’re forgiven forever and he’ll let no wise cast you out, he will not lose you. He says I’ll never leave you, I’ll never forsake you. So just go back to the basics and remind him that Christ will never leave you once you become saved.

Judas never got saved. Exactly, he never believed. Now I’ll say that this quick, believe it and not. Well as a believer there are things about the Christian life and other things that we may not believe. That’s really pictured to us in Hebrews where we had the children of Israel redeemed out of Egypt by the blood of the Passoverlama picture of salvation. But then they failed to believe that he could feed them and take care of them and they murmured in the wilderness and so on.

And so God never let them enter the Promised Land. And they died physically, but they still were saved. And so again, you have to distinguish between salvation and the Christian life. they believed the Lord and sacrificed the Lamb, applied His blood, and were delivered by the blood of the Lamb out of Egypt. But that was a picture of salvation. But then when they got into willingness, they didn’t seem to be able to believe that God could take care of their needs and so on.

So that whole generation died out because of their unbelief as a Christian. At the end, they feel like they aren’t believing in work. Is there any penalty for that? Yeah, of course they lose out on rewards and they obviously are gonna be disciplined for telling people a wrong message If they spread that wrong message to somebody else But they’re still safe. What did you save? You’re stuck. I tell people you can’t get out of it Once you get saved you you have to go to heaven when you like it or not Okay.

And also, I wanted to see, was there any other person that also has a call-in show that teaches the same thing that you do that you know of? No I don’t. Maybe it’ll be the next one and I hope you are all right That was anonymous in Texas and thank you for the call. We now have Loretta in Richmond, Virginia and welcome to Bible Life. Good morning. Can I have a question? Yes, I have. Hi. This is Loretta from Virginia.

Hi Loretta. Hi. I listen to your show all the time and right now I’m listening and I’m thinking about Harold. I hear him all the time. I know he’s a great believer in what you say and he goes against a lot of other doctrines And yet, you know, I’m concerned about his salvation and others like him. I just want, my question was, what would happen if he took Jesus as his warden savior, if he doesn’t truly believe, just so that he is saved because we never know when Jesus is coming.

You know, so that was my concern and my question being that I’m listening to all this now and I’m really, really concerned about him and others like him. I want to bless you. He worked in terms of him too and there has been a real switch since he first began listening. He is not as much an atheist as I think he used to be. In fact, I think he slipped a couple of times and said thank God or something like that during his conversation with me.

So I think he is getting closer if he has not already trusted the Lord. I think he’s close to trusting Christ and we pray that he will and we find that my Bible has reached a lot of folks like Harold and we’ve had a lot of people that have told me that they were Jewish or whatever they were and they heard this program and learned what the Bible had to say and they trusted the Lord. So let’s keep praying for Harold and others like him and let’s see what happens.

Well, I do. I pray for him and all those like him because like you say and I listen to you every day, I believe that Jesus is coming in. It’s going to be very soon, but we don’t know when. You know, and I just, I know I’m ready and my family’s ready and a lot of people I know are ready, but people like him who is still questioning everything I say, you know, he seems like a very smart man.

He seems to know a lot about what he’s saying. You know, and I always say search the scripture. if you’re not sure, you know. But, you know, my other question to you also was, if you believe that you can lose your salvation, is that a sin? And does that mean you’re not saved? So, I will hang up and listen to your question on the radio. Thank you. This thing about losing your salvation is quite a subtlety because if you say you can lose your salvation, I usually ask people, and if I have a piece of paper, I’d like to draw it out.

I draw a little stick figure and I say, here you are right now. And here’s a point way over here to your right where you’re going to die. Now, let’s see if I understand what you’re telling me about what you believe about salvation. You’re telling me that from this point here where you are right now and over here to when you die, if you live faithfully for God and then you die, you’ll go to heaven, is that right? And I say, oh yeah, right, right, right.

And then I start again and I say, well, what if you are right here and then you start off great and maybe after a few years you backside and you don’t read your Bible anymore and you don’t go to church anymore and you’re not living for Christ and you die what happens then. And they usually say, oh, well, I’d go to hell. And I say, well, obviously you’re trusting in your works and they’ll say, no, I’m not. I’ll say yes you are and they’ll say no I’m not.

And I said look at this little diagram we’ve drawn here. If we were to draw the line here between the point where we are right now and when we die and say that what you do between those two points determines your salvation, that’s works. So you’re telling me that how you live your life between now and death determines your salvation. And that’s works and you can’t be saved by work. So if you’re trusting that you have to work to be saved and stay saved, then you’re really trusting in works to save you in the Bible, so you can’t be saved by works.

If he just do nine, it says salvation is not of works. Let’s say any man should boast. So I hope that answers it for you. Basically, people that believe they can lose it will say things that sound real good. They talk about grace and they talk about salvation by faith, but in reality, they are trusting in their works to get them there. And once you see this, I think you really are set free because you can never lose your salvation because you’re not keeping it.

Christ is the one that saves you, but He’s also the one that keeps you saved. So once you get saved, you are saved forever and ever and ever. And those that believe, I believe that say you can lose it really don’t many times understand what they’re saying, but they’re really probably not saved at all. We have Adam in Tampa, Florida and Adam will come to the Bible and you are on the air. Oop, I have an altoan and Adam is not there.

So Adam, you’ll have to call back. We have Elba in Tampa, Florida calls in. She says, I have a son that has become gay. I would like to know if he has lost his salvation, that he has professed before this new lifestyle. Elba, again, if you are saved, you’re saved forever, even if you were to announce that you’re now gay. Now the problem is that when you are disobedient to God’s word as somebody who might, if they made that statement and they’re now going to live a gay lifestyle, they’re living in a sin that is an abomination.

So the Lord might take them home. You know a lot of people that are gay can track these different sexual sins, including AIDS and they die early. A lot of gay folks have died early and it’s the Lord, I think in some cases, taking them home as a delinquent believer, but they’re still saved. So if he really was saved, really knew the Lord is his Savior, Elba, he’s still saved. But I’ll tell you, the Lord… He is not happy about somebody who is living at lifestyle, and so he may not live out a full life.

He might have numerous problems as a result of the gay lifestyle. It’s certainly in the Bible in abomination, and the Bible says that it is in the Old Testament was punishable by death. Today, of course, we have so much of it. The reason why is a sign, first of all, of the End Times. Jesus said it would be again as it was in the days of a lot when Christ would return. What do we see today? The lifestyle in Sodom is now out on the street today in America, Europe, and so on.

I think we’re living in the very last times that Christ accurately predicted what it would be like. It’s amazing to me that this has been a prophecy that Christ gave two thousand years ago. And when I was young, I never even heard about somebody who was gay. And now you can’t get away from it. It’s in our face every day. Thank you, Elbun. We’ll be praying for you. I know it’s difficult for you. We now have Adam back. And Adam, welcome to Bibleline your own ear.

In this instance, the fruit of flesh and the fruit of spirit, is that the same fruit that’s good and bad fruit that Jesus talks about? And I’ll hang up and listen. The answer is not. answer is no. The fruit in Matthew 7 is the fruit of the believer or the fruit of a false prophet. It’s their convert. It’s the person that they have influenced. So if you were an apple tree, you’d have apples as fruit. If you’re a Christian, your fruit is another believer.

Or in the case of the Jehovah’s Witness and another Jones’ Witness and that New one is just as prepped as the whole organization. We’re going to go to break here. It’s amazing how quickly the time goes, but we’ll come back and do a second half hour. So keep your radio tuned right where it is, and we’ll come back in just a minute and do a second half hour Bibleline. And I hope you’ll stay tuned for the whole time. Don’t go away.

Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. All right, I’m Dr. Inchlinz from and I hope you’re enjoying Bibleline today. It’s Wednesday and we’ll be here two more days this week and then back on Monday again next week. I hope you are helping us by telling your friends about the program, getting them to listen as well. And again, pray for those that are lost. We have so many that are deceived, thinking that they are Christian and will one day get to heaven because they are living the Christian life.

The Christian life didn’t die for you and shed its blood. Only Christ did. And you can only be saved by trusting Christ and what He finished for us at the cross of Calvary. So I hope you have trusted Christ and I hope your friends and family have trusted Christ. you have to ask that question to be assured and that is to ask them, can you lose your salvation? Because that is a key question that needs to be answered by those that you talk to.

If they believe they can lose it, chances are they’ve never understood it. They’re still thinking that works have something to do with it and that means they’re not saved. So I hope you’ll really take note of that and try it. You’ll find out real quickly whether somebody is saved or not. If you ask them if they are a Christian they are all going to say yes even if they are a cult member they will say that. But you need to ask the good question can you lose your salvation.

We are ending up October today and we could sure use your prayers and we could use your help. So if you could help Bible on today. We would appreciate it very much. You can call and leave a gift by credit card over the phone. You can also call and get an envelope to be sent to you with our address on it and mail a gift to Bibleline. And we really could use your help. I’m telling you the truth. We need your help and you could help us greatly by sending a gift of any size by mail or calling in and giving it by credit card over the phone.

We are excited about what we’re able to be. Doing right now and in order to continue that it requires your help and your gifts to Bibleline. So consider being a part of that, being a partner with us. And again, you can just call that 800-100-576-3771. Operators are standing by and they’ll be glad to help you. By the way, all of our staff, including myself, we’re all volunteers for this program. We try to take everything and throw it right back in there and get out as far as we can.

with the Gospel of Christ. We’re going to go back and now return to the stations that have been on break and do a second half hour. So I hope you’ll keep your radio dial tuned right where it is. Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom.

It’s by Milan. We’re coming to you live from Tampa, Florida from our studios here at the Calvary Community Church and we invite you to drop by and visit our resource center during the week. We have people coming by all day long and we just love to get to meet those who come by. We hope that you’ll do that. And if you can’t, if you’re in another city, go to the internet and you can visit our resource center by clicking on our online bookstore.

Could you do that? Also, you can come by and worship with us sometime. We’d love to have you do that. But again, if you live in another part of the country and you can’t get the Tampa, you can visit us on the Internet. You can catch our worship service live on Sunday morning at 11. And also you can go back and watch it as often as you will during the week. We have 51 sermons sitting there. That’s almost a year.

This is coming Sunday. We’ll put a full year’s worth of sermons up there for you to watch and listen to at any time you want to. But if you want to catch it live on Sunday morning, you can. That’s exciting. And we have so many people that are watching. In fact, a family now for the past two or three weeks has been viewing every week from Sweden in Europe. And so our radio partners we know are heard all over the world.

But people are beginning to find out that the worship services and that’s audio and video on the Internet. Exciting, exciting stuff. We’re now going to go to Ann and she is in Winterhaven and Ann, welcome to Bibleline you are on the air. Hi Ann. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. You’re on the air. Thank you. I have the most wonderful news to tell you. I don’t know if you remember that. I spoke to you last week. I think it was off the air that time, and then I spoke to you on the air another time.

But I was very confused about my salvation, and I was having a lot of doubts and really going through a lot of turmoil. And I just want to say to you that I finally understood. Praisely. I finally came on. And what it was is when you said the words to me, yes, but do you believe that he died for you, for you. And the Lord just kept ringing that and ringing that and ringing that in my head. And I just want to say to anybody that’s out there that might be like me, that maybe they had a trust issue in their life.

All it is, it’s so simple. It is so simple. It’s just believing he died on the cross for your sins, for your sins, not just the world, but yours personally, and put your trust in that. And there’s no reason for doubt. Why would you doubt. You don’t doubt God’s word. So you just go back every time if a doubt comes, you just think, that’s crazy. This is God we’re talking about. God Almighty, He died on the cross for me and I put my trust in Him.

I believe that. I know it’s true that He died for me. And there just should be no reason for a doubt. And I’m just, I’m thankful that the Lord, I don’t know why, to use this means or you or the radio station. I don’t understand it all. I’m not even gonna try to, but the light is on and I thank you so much. And I just can’t say enough. My prayers are for you.

I just, I’m so happy. So that’s great, thank you. And thanks for sharing that with all of us because I know that you were really troubled when you first called. Oh my God, you have no idea. And then we’re not talking about months and years of being troubled, but it was just so intense. These last few… I think that’s a good thing to do. I believe Satan just tormented me. But I think God has allowed that for a purpose.

Now we see what the reason is. And so I say, aye, for torment. Only because it brought me to the light. It brought me to see. I was just at the end of myself. I said, I’ve got to know. I’ve got to know. I can’t live like this. off the phone with you Friday, I said to the Lord, please help me reveal it to me. And I want so bad to know you and everybody has said to me, well if you want to know, you’ll know and I kept thinking, well why don’t I know yet?

What is this nagging feeling? You know, what’s going on? And anyway, I don’t want to keep saying the same thing but that was it. It’s just that I wasn’t trusting that he did it for me, for me. Look at that. Well, that’s wonderful and I’m glad that you are assured of your salvation now and You can’t lose it. It’s kept by God and and so you’re saved eternally Absolutely. Thank you very much. Thank you for sharing that was and thank you very much That was in winter Haven, Florida and we’re now going to go to Matt in spring Hill and Matt Welcome to Bibleline Good morning, Dr.

Hank. I have a question Then I’m just going to hang up and listen. First part of the question is, Bible says about being unequally yoked with either non-believers and based on that, how does that apply to different doctrines within the realm of Christianity? Well, obviously, you’re to come out and be separate from churches and congregations where they don’t believe the Bible right because you’re unequally yoked. Obviously you’re going to be stifled. I know when I went back and attempted to try to serve in the church I was raised in, it caused a great deal of controversy.

And basically our family was forced to leave because we weren’t in harmony. And you know, there was such a liberty when we found a church that believed correctly. We were able to serve individually and as a family and we just were as happy as could be whereas we were having a difficult time because we were suppressed by wrong doctrine in the former church. But Paul says it well in Romans chapter 1 and it’s a decision I believe every believer who’s going to be effective has to make.

He says in verse 1 of Romans Paul, a servant, a bond slave of Jesus Christ, called an apostle, and then he says separated under the gospel of God. Then this book clearly defines what the gospel is and is not in the 16 chapters there in the book of Romans. So we need to separate ourselves. It says here separated unto the gospel. So when you are in a church where the gospel is wrong, you really need to separate yourself and get out.

And that’s what it is talking about there. So if you’re where the teaching is wrong, you don’t belong there and you need to get out where you can be free. And an interesting verse by the way, a second Corinthians 3, let me quote this one for you. When you get in a church where the environment is good doctrine, it says, where the spirit of the Lord is this is 2 Corinthians 3 verse 17 where the spirit of the Lord is there is liberty.

All of a sudden there is a freedom to talk about Christ to teach the doctrines in Sunday school and other programs within the church. You are encouraged to share this good news with friends and relatives and the lost in your neighborhood and your community and it is just a wonderful feeling when everybody is on the same page. But if you are going the church that doesn’t believe, then you almost have to do it undercover and you have to keep your mouth shut in some cases and that’s not what the Lord intended.

So I hope that helps and we thank you for that call from, I guess it was Matt in Spring Hill. We now have Ken in Decatur, Illinois and Ken, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the Hello Ken. Hello Ken. We’re having trouble today. I don’t know what’s going on here, but we’re now going to go to Stephanie in Richmond, Virginia. Stephanie, welcome to Bibleline. Yes. Good morning. How are you? Good. Listen, I had just turned to her on when you were talking about the gays.

people. I wanted to know if the gay people that go to church and believe in Christ, you know, if they’re saviour and stuff, will they go to heaven? You know, when they pass and… Absolutely they will. God so loved the world and that included people in the human race and all of us are sinners. All of us have sinned and gone, come short of the glory of God. This is a particular sin that God says isn’t a abomination. And obviously if you’re a believer, he’ll discipline you for that sin, but he will not cast you.

out, he will not lose you and once you are saved you are saved forever. But I was just reading the verses chapter 5, 20 which prepped hatred, all the stuff that God hates. So how can they really go? Well any of those things would keep you out of heaven without Christ and that’s what it’s saying there. 24 it says there you were crucified with Christ so those sins are paid for and now you become the Lord’s and he Says that as a believer you don’t want to continue in those sins Because you’ll have the fruit of those sins in your life as opposed to the fruit of the Holy Spirit Which comes by being obedient to the Lord so if you’re a believer and you sin you’re still going to be saved but you will pay a consequence for doing that.

He’s not talking about loss of salvation. He’s talking about what kind of heartache you’ll have in your life if you don’t live for the Lord after you’re saved. But you’ll never be lost once you become saved. 1 Corinthians 6, 9 through 11 covers that same list and it says in such were some of you, but you’re washed. You’re justified, you’re sanctified in the name of the Lord Jesus. So when you trust Christ, you were condemned because of those sins, but now you’re washed, you’re justified, you’re sanctified, and the Bible tells us that now that you’re saved, it’s not expedient or it’s not a smart thing to continue in those sins.

First Corinthians says the same thing. It’s not a smart thing to do, God will deal with you but not as a lost person but as a saved person who is a child in God’s family that needs discipline and as a father disciplines his son so he disciplines the delinquent believer. And so he’ll spank you. And so I hope that helps answer that for you. Yeah, well they keep on doing it, you know what I’m saying? You know they are saved.

Well they won’t keep on doing it too long. God will take him to heaven early. I mean, I have seen this happen where I have buried a number of people that were gay, but they died in their twenties. They may not live a very long life. It’s unfortunate for them. I’ve buried people in their twenties as a result of their drugs and alcohol. young man, a strong, good looking young man, quite intelligent, but he died at 31 and I buried him.

He was a believer and he went to heaven, but he went to heaven early. He died. He was drinking a fifth of alcohol a day and it just absolutely destroyed his kidneys and he died. So you don’t get away with it. You don’t live a long life by breaking the rules, but you’ll still be safe. Okay, okay. Thank you so much. You’re so welcome. Thank you for calling. And we’re now going to go back to Ken. We lost him before, but Ken, welcome to buy while you’re on the air.

Okay, Dr. Hank, I just wanted to… That’s correct. And that Ann that called in, if anybody ever wanted to support a ministry, if what that lady said today didn’t move people to want, in fact, you know, I’ve canceled a couple of places that I used to give to after I started listening to you here a year or so ago, and I learned so much, realizing that I was giving money to people who were not accomplishing anything for anybody. This lady here, what you accomplish with this lady here today and is probably one of the greatest blessings of a person ever listened to someone that had been led to the Lord Jesus Christ in such a way and given assurance of their salvation and how precious that is.

I was sitting here yesterday and I said, well, I canceled out this other place I was given money to and I’m starting to wear now all my money is starting to flow over toward you and that’s the Lord doing that and people that hear that kind of stuff if they want to support a ministry that’s sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ that’s what they need to do do it support you and because you need to be on all over the world you’re the only God never heard anybody like you anywhere and I’ve been listening to preachers for many many years and I just thank God for your ministry.

God bless you. Well thank you Ken and God bless you and it takes everybody helping us to be able to spread it out further and further. I look at some of the big ministries out there and I said if I had the amount of money that they have coming in I would be everywhere in the world because. Well if people are interested in actually sharing the gospel with helping people what you did with that and his work i couldn’t i couldn’t work enough in my life to ever give enough money to pay for such a work is what was accomplished there through the word of god your teaching and your patience and just good godly sense and i think you well god bless you Bless you, John.

Thank you so much. Yes, sir. Bye-bye. Ken in Decatur, Illinois, listening up there. And we hope that you are listening as well. We do need your help. This is the last day in October. And we really stretch ourselves out so tight that we really just trust God every day for just enough to come in and take care of it. I think it’s kind of like the children of Israel eating the man in the wilderness. They waited every day for that man to come and they couldn’t collect two days worth in one day.

They had to get just enough of that day and then trust the Lord again the next day for the next days and that’s basically the way we operate here. We’re on a day by day basis trusting God to supply through our listeners like you. We’re now going to go to Chris in Seminole Florida and Chris, welcome to Bibleline You’re on the air. Hey, God bless you, Pastor Hank. Real quick question for you. I was just wondering if you could direct me to any references in the Bible where people are in heaven, but they have regrets or shame or any such.

And I’m going to hang up and take notes. All right. Well, certainly 1 Corinthians 3, 15, the Joseph C. of Christ. It talks about there that if any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss. We don’t know exactly what that word suffer there means. Obviously, they’ll suffer loss, loss of reward, but then he goes on to say that he himself shall be saved, yet so as by fire. So certainly they will be saved. Then it talks about in 2 Timothy 2, 15 that we’re to study to show ourselves approved.

It talks about the judgment of Christ, that when Christ examines us, that we would be approved and not disapproved. Let’s talk about rewards and he wants us to stand before him approved. I like the one over in 1 John and this is 1 John chapter 2 and it says here, I’m almost There I’m turning down my Bible. It says in verse 28 and now little children abide in him that when he shall appear we may have confidence and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

So here it talks about people being ashamed when they stand before the Lord as a believer as he examines our works and determines whether we are worthy of reward or not. And with some he’ll say, well done, no good and faithful servant. And others he’ll say, I’m not too happy with you. You’ve been a soft-for lazy servant and haven’t lived for me. Another one is in 1 Peter chapter 4. Here it talks about in verse 18, if the righteous, that’s the believer, scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear.”

Now in the verses before that it talks about God here judging the believers at the judgment seat of Christ a thousand years before he judges the unsafe and how that some will suffer loss and be ashamed because they haven’t lived for Christ. That’s a few. I’ll have to think about it and try to come up with some more for you but thank you for that call and that was Chris in Seminole, Florida I guess. We’re now going to go to Ryan in St.

Petersburg and Ryan welcome to Bibleline You’re On The Air. Hi, how are you doing Hank? Good. I have a question in Isaiah chapter 3 verse 9 and verse 12 about homosexuality. Is this talking about in the last days? Because I know in chapter 2 it says the promise for the last days and it talks about they declare their sin as thought on and they do not. hide it. It’s like they’re proud of their sin and they’re just openly exposed in it.

Another question about verse 12, it says, as for my people, children, are there oppressors and women rule over them? Just the other day, Argentina had the first lady, which her husband was the president, and then she and now right now we have Hillary Clinton, her husband was president and now she’s up for election. I just want you to comment on those and then I’ll hang up the line and listen. Thank you. Alright, thank you. Well definitely this is talking about the about the last days.

Isaiah begins immediately in chapter two and leaps us to the future And we’re reading the things that are happening that I see us spoke about in our news, in our headlines today. And here talks about in the last days that people that are homosexual will be out and open in your face that wouldn’t hide their sin. And it says, well, we’re judgment unto them because God will definitely judge them. In the past you see where God has judged these sins, Sodom and Gomorrah were totally destroyed by God.

Also, I visited Italy there when the people in Pompeii were killed. That city was full of homosexuality. I never had an idea until I actually visited there and saw the paintings throughout the I wish I really hadn’t seen them because it was all pornographic. But no wonder Mount Massuvius would have blued stack. Those poison gases came in and killed those people and they were actually killed while they were going about their daily business. But it was a similar incident, I think, to that of Sodom and Gomorrah.

And the Bible says that it would be like that when Christ returns and God will judge the whole world and every unsafe person will be destroyed. Thank you so much. We now have Steve in St. Petersburg. Steve, welcome to Bibleline your own here. Yes, three quick things and then I’ll hang up Barry Christmas. Well, thank you. Merry Christmas to you. And Samson committed suicide and he’s in heaven. He’s mentioned in the New Testament, I’ve been searching for the past, I know it didn’t there.

Also to Harold, remember, Har Carroll, the angels sing, glory to the newborn king. All right. Very good. Thank you, Steve. And yeah, there are suicides in the Bible and it’s not the unpardonable sin. Again, that was a wrong connecting of the dots by the Roman Catholic Church, which teaches that if you committed suicide that you would go directly to help. We now have Tony in Richmond, Virginia. Tony, welcome to Bibleline your own there. Hey Dr. Lindstrom This is crazy every time I get on the phone with you.

I got 10 things I want to say, but I want to narrow down to just one. And I called in and I will be the second. I just wanted to call. I was so prompted that there’s two souls right behind in hers. I want to say that God kept me alive and kept me through just to be able to hear and get that true gospel. I grew up in a Pentecostal fire in Brimstone Church, didn’t have full gospel tabernacle church, didn’t understand it, and you did it through the Word and prompted me to listen because of my wife saying to me, man, I don’t know if I’m going to be ready when Jesus comes back.

And next time I was like, wow, you don’t know if you’re ready, like, you know, be saved. So the more I listen and the more I check you out and ask you questions, you just pointed it through the word. I thank the Lord for you and your ministry. Hey, the other thing I want to know is about tithing, right? Like, what is that established outside of the law before the law even began to stay with Abraham encountering Melchizedek, who they believe is the same part of Jesus?

It was always a principle of giving you know, Jacob gave a tithe Abraham gave a tithe and so on that was before the law was ever given so It’s a principle to give a portion of what God has blessed you with and seems like 10% is that I’ve got a run Thank you so much Tony for sharing that with us today And we’ve got to go if you want to help my blind You can call and give a gift by credit card or you can mail it in by asking for an envelope with our dress on it And I hope you have a great day and join us again tomorrow.

We’ll be back Lord willing and join us then. You’ve been listening to Bibleline, a presentation of Bibleline Ministries of Tampa, Florida. Some of the gun Bible studies that are sharing the gospel in the jails. Isn’t that exciting? However, this program is heard.
