By the way, we talked yesterday about the account in Matthew’s Gospel and the account in Luke’s Gospel. We note that there is a lot of differences because the accounts are two years apart. The wise men did not come to the birth of Christ. They did not come to the stable. They came to a house.

If you read Matthew chapter 2 and verse 11, it says, when they were come into the house, they sought a young developing child two years old. Jesus was two years old and probably was walking and talking and maybe even greeted the wise men. Isn’t it amazing? We really oftentimes aren’t getting our information about the Christmas story from the Bible, but from Christmas cards, Christmas pageants, plays, nativity scenes and so on and so on. In that loose account you have shepherds and no wise men.

But in Matthew’s account you have wise men and no shepherds. In loose account we have the angel of the Lord announcing the birth of Christ. In Matthew’s account there is no angel of the Lord. We find in loose account there is an announcement made of the birth. In Matthew’s account there is no announcement about the birth of Christ. In Luke’s account Christ is announced as being a savior. In Matthew’s account Christ is presented as a king. In Luke’s account we have Jesus as a newborn, a baby lying in a manger and we find in Matthew’s account we have a young child two years old, no baby lying in a manger.

In Luke’s account we have the baby wrapped in swaddling clothes. In Matthew’s account, there is no swaddling clothes. Jesus is now two years old. In Luke’s account, we have a multitude of the heavenly hosts. In Matthew’s account there IS no multitude of the heavenly hosts. In Luke’s account we have the announcement of Peace on Earth good will toward Men. In Matthew’s account there is NO announcement about Peace on Earth good will toward Men. In a Luke’s account we have a stable.

In Matthew’s account we have no stable at all. We have a house, Matthew 211. In Luke’s account we have a baby lying in a manger, a newborn. And in Matthew’s account there’s no manger at all. We have a two year old child walking and talking. In Luke’s account we have no gifts given. But yet in Matthew’s account we have gifts that were all given to the Lord Jesus Christ. In the Luke’s account there is no mention of the star.

In the Luke’s account there are no wise men, no shepherds. I have a list here of 20. I stopped at 20 but there are so many differences between the two accounts. If you would like to get a copy of this, I will give it to you free call and we will mail out a copy of my notes on Christmas. I think you’ll find it very, very interesting because most people are not paying attention to the Bible here. Christmas is one of the most special joyous times of the year and yet a lot of what we’ve learned about Christmas is not biblical.

Most of us have learned what we know about the Bible and about Christmas from corrupted sources outside the Bible. Sources like sermons, Christmas plays, pageants, television and radio programs, nativity scenes, dramas, Christmas cards, and so on. The Bible records two distinct, separate events as related to the birth of Christ. Luke records the events surrounding the birth, while Matthew records events two years later when Wiseman came looking for a king that had been born. A person’s salvation is based upon a correct understanding of the gospel message.

We know that a lot of times if you haven’t gotten things like the Christmas story down correctly, it could be that your information about the Bible is flawed and maybe. Your information about the gospel is flawed, and that might mean that you will not be saved. You need to take a fresh look at the Bible. You know, in Romans 1 and 16 it says, I’m not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it the gospel is the power of God and the salvation to everyone that believe it.

So you must know what the gospel is, and you must trust in that message as being true in order to be saved. So the Bible warns us, examine yourselves whether you be in the faith. Prove it. And the way we prove it is by checking out what we believe against the Scriptures. Have you done that? Do you know what the Bible says for sure? Well, I find that most people believe that the wise men were there at the birth.

And usually most Christmas cards, when they show a nativity scene, will have the wise men been hitched up outside the stable. The wise men never came to the stable. They came to a house two years later after the birth. The Bible is very, very clear about that. And you know, the bottom line is this, the payment for sin is death. The Bible says the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The gift of God as eternal life it says. If you haven’t received the gift of God, then you’ve missed the meaning of Christmas. I remember as a little boy, going through eighteen Christmases, eighteen years old I was, when I finally understood what the gift of Christmas was, and I received the gift of God. The gift of God as eternal life, and I didn’t receive it till I was eighteen, can you imagine every Christmas? All about gifts, all about supposedly Christ, and yet I never knew what the gospel was all about.

I never received the gift of Christmas until I was eighteen. There are people that are twenty, thirty, forty, fifty years old, sixty years old, seventy years old, and still haven’t received the gift of Christmas. It’s a sad, sad commentary, isn’t it, that people will exchange gifts and talk about giving and celebrate supposedly Christmas and yet never ever understand that the real gift is not a gift under the tree, but the real gift is the gift nailed to the tree, the Lord Jesus Christ.

And when you trust in Christ as your Savior, you receive the gift of everlasting life. Wow, what a wonderful, wonderful thing that is. And I’m so glad that I received that gift and I’m now sure of eternal life through Jesus Christ as my Savior. You know, that’s what it’s all about. And I pray that everybody listening today to Bible Life would take a fresh look. Please call in at the 800 number here. I will get your address and mail you free.

This article that I’ve written about Christmas and the differences between the two accounts, the one in Luke, the one in Matthew, how they’re two years apart and the wise men never came to the stable and the two never ever got to meet each other. This was totally two different events and Christ was two years old when the wise men came two years after the birth of Christ. Check it out. And you can use it as a wonderful opportunity to tell your friends about Christ by just checking their knowledge of the story of Christmas.

You’re probably going to see a Christmas card. You’re probably going to see a nativity scene that hasn’t wrong. If you see the wise man hitched up outside the stable, they’ve got it wrong. And I was sharing yesterday, we had fun here at our church a few years ago, we had a nativity seen, a little smile and a tibity scene, we set it on one side of the foyer of our churches people came in. And on purpose we took the wise men and put them across the foyer on the other side.

Because they came two years later, we wanted to separate them and put them over on the other side away from the shippers, away from the baby lying in a manger and put them on the other side of the foyer. Well, our ushers told me and they enjoyed this so much visitors would come in. They would see the wise men on the other side of the foyer. And being helpful, they said, well, let’s help, I guess, the church out. They’d pick up the wise men and they’d move them over to the stable and leave them and our ushers would kind of smile but didn’t want to embarrass our guests.

So as soon as they had gotten a seat, our ushers would move the wise men back across the foyer And then guess what? Another sort of visitor would come in and they would see the wise men on the other side of the room. They would think in their minds this must be a mistake and they would help us out. And they’d move the wise men back across the foyer to the stable and the manger scene. And then our ushers again would not correct them, but just smile knowing they’d hear in the message.

And then they would move the wise men back across the hall because they didn’t arrive. until two years after the birth. We’re going to copy of this at yours just for the call. Call us at 1-800-576-3771. I’m Dr. Hank Lynch, and this is my blend. Again, we’re coming to you live from Tampa, Florida, from our studios here at the Calvary Community Church. Welcome to the program, and welcome to those that are listening in Miami. We’re glad to be on the air down there every day now.

And thanks for tuning in. we have uh… larry indeltona florida and larry welcome to bible and you’re on the air and uh… Someone sent me an email last night of prophetic significance that happened in Jerusalem. The Temple Institute, they just created the Golden Crown for the High Priest. uh… they said it took a year to make and i thought what was significant is that it weighed adjustable settings so the number of six was prominent because they they don’t realize that they’re high priest already come isn’t something i’d i missed that i’ll have to uh…

take a look at the specifics of google that find it yet it was a one-minute fifty second uh… put from the temple institute and they had just finished it and uh… and but i thought that the significant the it you know the number of man because yes uh… looking for has already come and he’s in heaven he’s you know uh… lord he’s a lord jesus christ amen well thank you for sure that larry okay larry over in deltona for the near the uh…

landing cushion we have michael now in national ten to see michael welcome to buy one you are on the air uh… hello there you michael you’re on the air oh doctor lastro yes a first-time caller wonderful uh… i think it’s just such a blessing that i was able to find your teaching ministry uh… i have a question that i’d like you to give me some clarification on In Ephesians chapter 4 it says one lore, one faith, and one baptism.

Right. What is that? I have my ideas. Of course one lord I believe is Jesus Christ. But when we say one faith, you know, I’ve gotten everything from faith and the death, the burial resurrection in Jesus Christ, faith that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior. And then for people who are the church of Christ have told me that one faith is the member of the church of Christ. And then the one baptism I’ve heard that there’s about 17 different baptism.

Is that one baptism? The baptism of the Holy Spirit? Is it the baptism of water immersion in the specific name of Jesus? Is it water immersion in the name of the Lord, the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit? So if you could just give me clarification. I’ll do that. One Lord, one faith, and what baptism? All right. Thank you so much. The one Lord is the Lord Jesus Christ, God himself revealed in human flesh. who Christ says that I am the way, I am the truth, I am the life, he is the one Lord go down.

One faith I think is broader than what you said. It is the faith which is the body of truth is contained in the Bible, especially the New Testament. The phrase the faith is used 43 times in the New Testament and is referring to that body of truth. We’re told in Jude chapter 1 to contend for, THE FAITH, which was once delivered unto the saints. The Bible tells us in the latter days that the churches would depart from the faith.

There would be this apostasy. So I think that’s what it’s talking about. So everything that we need to know is in the New Testament record and there we find the faith that we are to defend and to cling to and to believe. The one baptism I do believe is the baptism of the Holy Spirit, which is the placing of the believer into the body of Christ. Because it talks about in verse 4, there is one body and one spirit.

And the spirit places us into that body. So the baptism here must be the baptism of the Holy Spirit. First Corinthians 12, 13 is a great verse that tells us by one spirit are we ALL all baptized into one body. So the baptism of the Holy Spirit is I think a one baptism. Sure. Thank you for that call. Michael in Nashville, Tennessee. We now have David in Miami, Florida and David, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Yes, my question is Paul called Ben, a believer’s called himself, still sentenced today.

Good question because every believer is a saint. The Greek word that is translated, sanctified, the verb form is sanctified, the noun form is saint. So everyone that is sanctified is a saint. The word that is translated that way means to make pure and holy. Every believer according to the Bible is made pure and holy when they trust Jesus Christ as Savior. So at the moment you trust Christ, you are sanctified by the offering that Christ made at the cross.

Hebrews 10, 14, I love it. It says by one offering, he has perfected forever them that he’s sanctified. You are not only made in pure and holy at the instant of belief, but perfected forever and every believer is a saint So I’m Saint Hank and you’re Saint David So the contradicts in the Scriptures to call believe a steel sin and I wish we believe we would stop being sinners Well, you’re right absolutely right, you know, we should declare ourselves saints and We are declared before God is righteous, but we still sin we have a sin nature So I understand sometimes where they’re coming from but technically in the Bible the phrase Centers is usually referred to those that are lost that have not received the forgiveness of their sin We’re declared saints or righteous.

So you’re right And that’s true and to me it’s not by your words. You’re justified when you say call yourself sinners You still looking what the sinners do but sin so Did you gonna steal and not a victor and you’re gonna still look capitalize on your weakness instead of your strength. Good point. And I have to agree with you. Okay. Thank you, sir. Thank you, David. David down in Miami, Florida. And we’re excited to be on the air down there in Miami on 1080.

And I hope you’ll tell your friends down there to listen in on the Bible and program. But we are sinners saved by grace. And so now we’re saved sinners. that might be a little bit better to say. But we are saints, we’re declared righteous. We are the born again. We are kind of sons and daughters by a new birth. We now have Joyce in St. Petersburg. And Joyce, welcome to Bibleline You’re On The Air. Yes, good morning. Happy, yeah, Merry Christmas.

All right. And I have a question on Revelation 20. There’s so many religions that have the rapture different times. And I thought maybe this was very good. Revelation 20, chapter 5 and 6. You could read that kind of. Okay. Revelation 20 verse 5 and 6 talk about the two resurrections, the resurrection of the saved, which occurs at the second coming seven years after the Rapture and then the resurrection of the unsaved end. Let me just say goodbye to our Miami listeners as we’re about ready to go off the air down in Miami but we’ll be back again tomorrow and I hope you’ll join me then.

Thank you all you Miami listeners as we continue the program now and so Joyce is talking about the resurrection of the saved At the end of the Tribulation Period, seven years after the Rapture and is talking about the resurrection of the unsaved dead at the end of the millennium. The Sesemers five, the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. And so that means after the thousand years are over, the unsaved dead will be resurrected and given their resurrection bodies and be assigned a degree of punishment and hell and cast them to hell.

cast into hell. But verse 6 says, Blessed means happy and holy or righteous is he that hath part in the first resurrection. That’s the believers. And it says on such the second death hath no power. The second death is to be cast into the lake of fire, chapter 20, verse 14. And those are the ones that are lost and go to hell. Hope that helps. Thank you. Alright, thank you Joyce for calling in from St. Petersburg, Florida. Time guys, so quickly.

Christmas would be a good time for you to give a special gift to Bible and would you consider doing that. You know when the wise men gave they gave all their gifts. The Bible is the word of God going out through the Bibleline programs. Thank you in advance. God bless you. Call and you can give it by giving it to Jesus.

Thank you in advance. God bless you. Call and you can give it by credit card or you can call and ask for envelopes to be sent with our address on it and that will work out great. We have Georgian Tampa. So here we go to the phone lines, 1-800-576-3771 and Georgian Tampa. Welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Thank you for taking my poll. You’re welcome. Yes, I’m good. You speak about rewards in heaven. Yes. I’m like repeated or I’m going to buy what I can find information on that.

Absolutely. There are many verses. First Corinthians of a 3, 11 through 15, talk about the judgment seat of Christ. First Corinthians 3, 11 through 15. And there it says our works will be examined when Christ returns. And if the fire when it tries your works, if there are any things that remain that are worthy of reward, that you will receive a reward in heaven. But if all of your works were burned up, you would still be saved but you would suffer the loss of rewards.

We find that Jesus says in the Sermon on the Mount, Luke chapter, rather Matthew chapter 6 verse 19 and 20, says lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven. So as we live for the Lord, as we serve Him, we can be laying up treasures in heaven that will be around forever. There Jesus says, thieves don’t steal, so there’s no there’s no crooks in heaven. Nobody is going to steal your treasure and it will be safe and the rest doesn’t corrupt it and moths don’t eat it up.

So it’s a treasure that will last forever based upon what you did here. There are other verses. 2 Corinthians 5, 10 says we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ that everyone may receive the things done in his body according to that which you have done whether it be good or bad. So all the things you’ve done in your life will be brought up as far as reward is concerned and you’ll be rewarded according to your needs.

So I hope that helps a little bit. Those are some of the verses and there are many that talk about the rewards of the believer George and I hope that helps get you going. Well thank you George and I think George has kind of went off to listen to the radio. we now have Jerry and he’s out in Denver, Florida, wherever Denver, Florida is. I thought, oh, maybe it’s Denver, Colorado. Jerry, welcome to Bible End. Yes, sir. Are you in Florida or Colorado?

I’m in Florida. Okay. Denver, where’s Denver, Florida? Sir? Where’s the So what’s the name of your town? Over there plant setting. Oh, Dover. Okay. Thank you. Welcome. My question is, I’ve been looking on the way to move website and it’s been telling that either raw guys or trees are getting together, all the instruments for the new temple. And last night on it, it talked about that they had made a building crown and that they that they were waiting on them, sorry to return the place to crown on his head.

And then, they also talked about recent earthquakes and then having over there in Jerusalem and there. Israel in that region. But I was just wondering if you could expound on either one of them. If there was any significance as far as the earthquakes, about them getting everything together for the new temple especially the pram. Listen to the answer. Okay Jay, thank you so very much. You know, it’s exciting because we were just there in March and we went to the Temple Institute and we saw many of the implements for the sacrifices and for the worship and so on.

And obviously we’re getting closer and I had never seen as much talk among the Jewish people about the coming of the Messiah as I heard. And of course, tragically, they’re going to receive first the false Messiah, the Antichrist. But the real Jesus will come out of the sky and light up the heavens at His coming and He’ll come back to the ruling reign over the earth. But no doubt about it. Many things have been done. The stones for the temple have been built or rather cut and are ready.

for worship, the garments of the priesthood and so on. And I think the crown here, that is another interesting thing that’s happening. And of course, earthquakes, you know, Jesus had Matthew 24 that Prior to his return to the Second Coming, there would be earthquakes in diverse places. And not only do we have earthquakes and Earth activity increasing all the time, all around the world, but even over there in Israel as well. I think that these are truly in time times.

And we have in March, we saw the Menorah. huge seven-branched candlestick made out of one piece of gold. It must have cost millions because it was about as tall as anybody in our group and it was beautiful. We got to walk up within a few feet of its enclosed glass so you can’t get to it but it’s very beautiful and ready for the temple worship that will follow the rapture. So once the rapture happens all those things will take place but the fact that they’re ready right now tells us I think the rapture is right around the corner.

Thank you Jerry. We now have Eileen in Largo fora and Eileen welcome to my mind you’re on the air. Eileen? Yes. You’re on the air. Yes. Good morning Dr. Lindstrom. Good morning. Yes. It’s difficult for me to hear you but Dr. Lindstrom I want I want to take you all the way back to Genesis 22. Okay, go ahead. With Abraham and Isaac, and 22, where Abraham gets specific orders on where to take Isaac upon one of the mountains, which I will tell you of.

And then, of course, in verse eight, Abraham, because his son, God, will provide himself a lamb. And so they both are meant to get it to this place. Now, in John 1917, they take Jesus to the Gaza, the place of the skull. This is a question out of just saying curiosity, because when I see something that God has sent able to have to a specific place. And I just wonder if that place is where Jesus was crucified. Well, absolutely.

He was sent there in Genesis 22 to Mount Moriah. You see that in verse 2, to the land of Moriah, to offer up him. And there on Mount Moriah was Abraham offered up. Jesus was offered up at the very northern most highest most part of the Moriah Ridge which is what is called Calvary today. Calvary is part of the same mountain and is in a sense cut off at the northern end of the city on the south-eastern west there are valleys that made Jerusalem very defensible because the enemy would have to go down the valley and then back up the other side become cockroach-rism so they could be seen and they could be detected and they could be fought off.

But in the north there wasn’t. So they cut like a dry moat or cut a section out of the mountain to make another valley on the north and left the highest, most northern, most part isolated. And that’s Mount Moriah, the north of this part, it’s Calvary. And that’s where Jesus was crucified. I really believe Isaac was offered on the southern part of the Mount where the temple is, because the temple was built, I believe, probably where he was offered up, but Christ was offered on the same mountain, but at the northernmost part of it, which is Calvert.

Okay, I thank you very much. You’re very welcome. One more question. All right, go ahead. about Abraham now. The Lord chose Abraham because he had faith. But he didn’t do the nation, did he? He chose Abraham and Abraham and made a nation out of Abraham. That’s exactly right. You’re exactly right, I mean. So Abraham was a man and he chose and he promised to make a nation out of his descendants. that became the Jewish nation. One just one little one.

Oh, okay. Oh, and the Spirit, the same thing. No, the soul and the Spirit are separate, but they’re divisible, but yet they’re never separated from each other. In Hebrews 4-12, it says the Word of God is living in powerful and sharper than any true age of sword, dividing between the soul and the Spirit. So we do know that they are divisible, they are separate, but yet they’re always together so when a person dies The non-material part of them, they’re make up the soul and the spirit, leave the body and go to be with the Lord in heaven.

The body is the third part of our make up and so we are all triune beings and we’re body, soul and spirit. But our soul spirit are distinct, but yet they’re always together. That’s the non-material part of us. So that’s Hebrews 4, 12, did you say? That’s great. Thank you so very much. God bless you and your ministry. well thank you aileen and that was great to talk to you today from uh… uh… largo uh… florida we now have armando in st peterburg in armando welcome your own ear good morning dr lynston good morning uh…

i want to ask you i was listening to a teaching the other day uh… the privately dividing the world the work through and the teacher was saying that if you apply the teachings of Jesus to So then this… this sensation of good on the bill and many things that we apply The church today, you know, under the grace, the period of the grace, but in other words, many of the… Many of the things that Jesus said, I would like to hear how you have to say about that.

OK. First of all, salvation has always been the same in every dispensation. So when Christ spoke about how to be saved, it was consistent with every time salvation is presented from Genesis to Revelation. So there’s never been two plans of salvation, or three or four. Everybody’s ever been saved. been saved by faith alone, apart from works, as everybody saved. The way Abraham was saved, the way Abraham was saved by believing on the coming Savior, Genesis 15, 6 Abraham believed God, and it was counting him for righteousness.

But yes, Christ was preaching in the economy of the law. And so many things referred there to things under the law and would apply to Israel in the tribulation period which is to come which is I believe the last seven years of the tribulation period that still have to tick off the clock and things that would apply during the millennial kingdom, but you’re absolutely right. So you do have to be a careful student and recognize that there are different ages or sensations and separate things out.

But in Matthew, for example, it’s about chapter 12 that we see Christ really rejected by the Jewish nation. In chapter 16 in particular, Christ announces that He’s going to build His church, which is the body of Christ comprised of Jews and Gentiles for this past 2,000 years. So early on you see the gears switching. and you see things making way for this 2000 year age which we’ve been experiencing now that’s just about over. And once the rapture happens though we’ll go back to Jewish territory and the law again, the temple will be rebuilt, blood sacrifices will be offered again, and the Jewish people will become the head nation during the millennium and during the tribulation period they will be God’s witnesses.

So you’re absolutely right and you do have to be able to separate that out. That’s why I like the Schofield Bible. It does such a wonderful job of helping you with that. So you definitely want to get one if you don’t have one. And we do have the old Schofield Bible. That’s the only one that we carry. The one that really has those excellent notes that will help you be able to separate between thing in another and rightly divide the word of truth.

We have Sean and Sean. Welcome to Bibleline you are on the air.

How you doing? Good. I was calling to ask a couple of questions just well, maybe just one. I’m almost. I had an email question for the second coming of Christ. This particular person believes that Christ is coming back in the form of a child. I have some responses, but I would like to hear what you would have to say about it. Well, obviously not true. You’ll notice in Acts 1, 9 through 11, Acts 1, 9 through 11, two angels stood by when Christ left the planet.

He ascended bodily and says there that the angel said, why stand you gazing up at the heaven? This same Jesus which is taken up from you into heaven shall so return in like manner as you have seen him go. So he is going to return just like he was when he left. So he was an adult, he was in a mature adult body, he was in his resurrection body and he was physically seen departing, he will be physically seen returning and he was won’t come back as a baby.

In fact, he’ll be recognized according to the Bible by the nail-scarred hands and feet. So how can that be if he comes back as a baby? He’ll come back in the very same body he left in which we’ll have the nail-scarred hands and feet and we’ll recognize him by those features. Hope that helps a little bit. Thank you. The house tremendously. I mean, I had the same, but thanks a lot. All right, you did good. That was Sean in Lansing, Michigan.

We have some off-air questions here. I think we’ll go ahead and grab a few of those because we’re trying to get them done. Stanley in Albany, New York calls in and says, Moses and Enoch, why not Enoch during the the tree relation period. How can Moses die twice? Well, the answer is we believe Moses is going to be the exception to the ruler. One of the powerful verses is Jude verse 9 where Michael the Archangel got into a scrap there with Satan.

Satan was apparently calling foul about the body of Moses. He disputed about the body of Moses. Apparently God has preserve that body, nobody knows where it’s buried, and God has preserved it to come back during the tribulation period. In all the main passages imply it’s a Moses that comes back. And plus, Moses and Elijah both were in the dispensation of law, and the last seven years of tribulation are the last seven years of the dispensation of law. So Enoch is really from a totally different dispensation and I don’t believe belongs in the tribulation period.

In Revelation 11 also the two prophets once mites the earth with plagues and turns the water to blood. I think Moses has to be the guy. Thank you. We have Tony and Richmond, Virginia and Tony welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Hey Dr. Lynch come. I have a question about Genesis, God, and told Adam not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil for the day you eat of it, you shall eat of it. He told him that.

And then he had created E to command that Adam that. And then my Bible says that the tree of life was in the midst of the garden and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. then you have the serpent tempting evil a little later and said, no, sure. God knows that the day that you have that tree, you all not die, that you will know good and evil. Does that mean that the trees were literally so close together that they couldn’t differentiate or that Adam know which tree it was and didn’t communicate that to Eve?

And did the devil actually know which tree that he was tempting Eve with? Could you please just explain that because it explains to me that the tree of life was in the midst of the garden. Well, both trees were in the midst of the garden and it’s clear Eve knew because Eve has this discussion about not eating of that tree. and she adds a He was the first Timothy chapter 2 that Adam was not deceived, but Eve was deceived by the devil.

She partook of that tree and then Adam did and he knew what he was doing when he did that and it brought death to the devil. Adam did, and he knew what he was doing when he did that, and it brought death upon the whole human race as a result. So yes, indeed Eve knew what she was doing. I read chapter 3 of the first four verses, and you’ll find that in the discussion it’s clear that she knew she was not to take of that tree.

And then Satan causes doubt and says, did he really say that you would die and he says you wouldn’t. So there you have it. Boy, the time is going by so quickly and we can’t hardly get all the questions in and we’d like to but that’s the way it goes when you’re having fun.
