Yesterday we had phone problems, all of our phone lines, due to a cut in the major line down the street from Bibleline. We were out of phone service for over eight hours.

We’d love to hear from you and we can take your question off there and put it up on the air or you can come up on the air live with us if you’d like. Christmas is right around the corner and amazingly to me, most people just don’t bother to read that in their Bibles because they feel like they’re already familiar with it, I guess.
and a lot of times we get it wrong. You know, every time you get a Christmas card, or you see a Christmas pageant, or you look at an activity scene, they usually all have the wise men hitched up outside the stable, and you have the baby lying in a manger, and you have Mary and Joseph and the shepherds and so on. But guess what? Guess what? Guess what? The wise men were not there. They did not come to the stable.
The wise wind didn’t arrive until two years later. So much of what we hear about the Christmas story comes from hymns, sermons, television, different plays and… The Bible says nothing about three kings. Let me read Matthew chapter 2 verse 1. When Jesus was born in Bethlehem, O Judea, in the complainant of Herod the King, Beholder came wise men. from the east to Jerusalem. Doesn’t tell us how many. And it says nothing here about kings. That is not the truth.
It says wise men. The Greek word for wise there means an oriental scientist. These were men who were apparently studying the heavens. They saw a star. And that star, they believed, was the fulfillment of the prophecy back in the book of Numbers that talked about a star associated with the birth of Christ. So they knew that Jesus had been born. And they set out to make the journey to come and see the baby Savior Jesus. It took them apparently from the time they saw the star two years to get to Jerusalem.
And by the way, they didn’t come to the stable. If you read carefully here, it says in verse 11, and when they were come into the house, H-O-U-S-E. This is Matthew 2, 11. When they were coming to the house, they saw the young child, the Greek word, breath os, is used over in the Luke’s Gospel, which means a newborn. This young child is from a Greek word that means a growing developing child. Jesus was two years old. He was walking.
He was talking. And guess what? He probably greeted the wise men when they came to the house, not the stable, to the house in Bethon. There are so many contrasts between the story and Matthew and the one in Luke because they’re separated by two full years. We had a small miniature one that we put in the foyer of the church here where I passed her in Tampa, Florida. We had it all set up and you had the stable and you had the animals and you had Mary and Joseph and you had the baby lying in a manger and you had the wise men.
We took the wise men and moved them across the foyer and put them on a table all by themselves. As we wanted to make the point that they were not there at the stable, they did not come to the birth of Christ. They arrived two years late. It was so much fun. Our ushers told me the story. Visitors would come in and they would see the wise men on the other side of the room. In their mind, they said, something’s not right here.
Something isn’t right. They would pick up the wise men and they would move them across the foyer and place them over there at the stable with the baby lying in a manger. Our Ushers not wanting to embarrass our guests just kind of chuckled under their breath. As soon as they went in to get their seat, the Ushers took the wise men and moved them back across the foyer to the other side of the room. This happened again and again.
Another set of visitors would come in and they would see the wise men across the room and they would pick them up and move them over to the stable. pressures would quietly snicker and then they would move the wisom back across the room and this happened all morning long. It was entertaining, but it was interesting that most people believe that the wise men were there at the stable. Most Christmas cards and most presentations you’ll see if you drive some by a home more than the nativity scene outside.
Usually you see first thing is it, some camels are hitched up at the hitching post and you have the wise men standing there beside the shepherds at the stable. Not true, not true, not true. Read your Bible. It says in Matthew 2 verse 1, wise men came from the east. They were not kings. And I don’t know how many there were. There could have been three, but most likely there were a dozen or two. I think there were quite a few.
I think with all the people that attended them in the caravan, typical of that time, there probably were two or three hundred people that rode into Jerusalem with the wise men. And when the wise men said, where is he that is born king of the Jews? They made this statement, we have seen his star in the east. Please note here, most of the courses and the hymn, We through Kings is the forest tells us that they followed yonder star all the way to Beth L.
Hymn. Oh, the Jerusalem. Didn’t happen that way. Notice they said here past tense. We have seen his star in the east. The Weizmann did not fall the star to Jerusalem. Isn’t that amazing? It seems to imply in most pageage, you see some little child holding a stick with a star on the top of it and he’s running across the stage and and here comes these three guys that are supposedly the three kings and they’re following the under star over hill, over hill.
Dale up and down over the mountains and here come the wise men following the star. That didn’t happen. Didn’t happen. Isn’t that amazing? So it says here we have seen the star in east and then Herod wanting to know about this child where he’d be born and when he was born asked for the scripture. What where did it say in the Bible and the prophets told back in the Old Testament in in the Bible. He was born in Bethlehem.
Then he interrogated the wise men and said, when did you see the star? They said two years earlier, that’s why Herod killed every baby two years old and under because of what he learned from the wise men. Let me read it to you. Verse 16 of Matthew chapter 2, then Herod when he saw that he was mock of the wise men was exceeding wrath and sent forth and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem. All the coasts are out from two years old and under.
Are you ready for this? From two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently inquired of the wisemen. The wisemen seen the star two years earlier in the east, and then they made their journey, arrived there two years later and Herod in order to kill the Christ child killed every baby two years old and under in order to get rid of the Christ child. So the wise one did not follow the star. They were they were not kings.
They were scientists and there probably were dozens of them and I’m sure when a caravan of two or three hundred people came into the city it caused quite a stir. Anyway, maybe not the most important thing you’ve learned from the Bible in your life, but it goes to show that most people don’t have good direct information from the Bible. And when you talk about salvation, that could be the difference between going to heaven and hell. How many people actually pick up their Bible and read the story?
They don’t pay attention. And if you don’t Recomm about how to be saved, my friend, you might find yourself lost. That’s right, because it does matter what you believe about how to be saved. The Bible tells us you cannot be saved by any works. You have to come with nothing in your hand. I like that hymn writer what he wrote, just as I am I come without one plea, but that thy blood was shed for me. You don’t come with anything to say, Boy, Lord, this is why I deserve the good of heaven.
I have been good. I’ve gone to church. I’ve been baptized, I’ve been confirmed, I’ve been not in your list goes on and on. And the Bible says you can do nothing. You could do nothing to save yourself. That’s why Jesus came as a Savior. And when you trust Him, in Him alone, God save you. I hope you’ve done that. My friend, for God’s love the world, that’s you, that He gave His only me out in the Son, that’s Jesus.
That who’s whoever, believe it in Him. Have you trusted in Christ as your Savior. Whosoever, believe it or not, the Bible says you should not perish, but have. Have. Present ends for right now. You possess at the moment of belief eternal life, everlasting life, and if it is eternal, which it is, you will have it forever and ever and ever and ever. I’m Dr. Engleinser, Mrs. Byblind. We’re going to go now to the phone lines. You’re welcome to call us at 1-800-576-3771.
going to Albert and he is in Richmond, Virginia and Albert welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Yes, sir. I got a question. I need some information for my Sunday school class. Sure. Can you turn your radio down? Yes, sir. We’re talking about replacement theology and I wanted, is it a verse in the Bible that says anything about I am a new Jew. I know I form a pastor would have a congregation repeated on Wednesday night and I never would say because I didn’t know if I was a night.
Well you’re not. If you’re a Gentile, you’re a Gentile taking a die. And if you’re Jewish related to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, you’re a Jew till you die. But a Jew that has accepted Christ is a saved Jew and a Gentile that’s accepted Christ as Savior is a saved Gentile. But we never become Jews now. What does happen? As we become the spiritual seed of Abraham, who is the father of all that would believe. In Romans chapter 4 tells us that Abraham is the father of all that believe, whether they’re Jews or Gentiles.
And it says in Romans chapter 10, which is a passage that a lot of people really love. And let me just turn and read these couple of verses. It is really dynamic because it says here that in verse 12, there is no difference. There is no difference between the Jew and the Greek or the Gentile. For the same Lord overall is rich unto all that call upon Him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
So there is no difference. It doesn’t matter whether you are Jewish or Gentile. You need to trust Christ if you are a descendant of Adam, a member of the human race. You are lost in going to hell and you need to trust Christ. So there is no distinction and and other places of Paul makes that very clear that once you trust Christ In the body of Christ there is no distinction between whether you’re Jewish or your gentle for example in Galatians chapter 3 It says in verse 28.
There is neither Jew nor Greek. There’s neither bond nor free There is neither male nor female for you’re all one in Christ Jesus. So there is no distinction at all Well, has the church taken a place of Israel? Absolutely not. You may back it up, sir. Absolutely. God has made, for example, the land promises to Israel and the promises that he’s going to continue his plan to have an earthly kingdom here on the surface where Christ will come back as their king.
Let me refer you back to the book of Jeremiah. This is great. And for those that believe in replacement theology, this is going to destroy what they They teach right off the top of the discussion. It says in Jeremiah chapter 31, and I’m almost there in my Bible here, Jeremiah 31, look at verse 35, Jeremiah 31, 35, thus saith the Lord, which gives the sun for a light by day and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divided the sea with when the waves are ever or the Lord of Hostess is his name.
Verse 36 says in Jeremiah 31, if those ordinances depart from before me say of the Lord, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being in Asia before me forever. In other words, as long as you see the sun come up in the morning and you see the stars in the moon at night, Israel’s not done. Okay. And obviously, okay, you’re sure. Well, you know, replacement ideology began with Augustine in the 5th century and he just a couple of centuries after the Jews had been kicked out of Israel in the 80s 70s just said they’re never going to go back and they didn’t believe the Bible that said Israel would go back and so they said the church replaced Israel.
This was a man made doctrine. By the way it’s believed by the Roman Catholic Church and usually most every church that came out of the Reformation carried this bad baggage with them. The Presbyterian, the method of saluturance, all of these churches believe Israel is done. Just a couple of years ago, up there in Richmond, by the way, the Presbyterian Church USA, 2.3 million members voted to boycott all companies doing business with Israel and siding with the Palestinians. And following that, the United Church of Christ, I think almost three million members did the same thing and numerous churches have followed.
And replacement theology is believed usually by all of these. And it’s sad really because it sparks thoughts of anti-Semitism that God is not caring about the Jew, but God’s soul of the world, that includes the Jews. And by the way, Jesus was a Jew and all the first Christians were Jews. very important. Anyway, we want to say hi to those folks in Miami and thank you for joining with us today and we are glad that you’re listening down there in South Florida.
I am going to go to the phone lines here again. If you have a phone question you want to get up on the It’s been about the year, 1-800-576-3771, 1-800-576-3771, and we’re going to be able to get up on the year. And we have Tony in Richmond and Tony, welcome to Bibleline You’re On The Air. Hey, Dr. Lynchstrom, how are you? Good. My question is about bad things. Can you just describe to me what is the, what is the means of fasting?
Are there different types of fasting? Well, first of all, fasting, there’s no big mystery here. Everybody fast every day, what do you think about it or not? But when you go to sleep at night, you don’t eat until morning, and what is the first meal So they call this call break fast. So breakfast is breaking the fast. It’s just something we naturally do. And when you’re got a lot of food here stomach, your mind is dull. So people would fast to have a clear mind when discerning God’s will, reading the scriptures and trying to find out what God wouldn’t want to tell them.
But it’s nothing magic about it. And I have to get ready to go to break here. So Tony will pick up on that when I get back. But we’re going to take a break will come back into a second half hour of Bible and we invite you to call here at 1-800-576-3771. We’re listed or supported if you could help Bible and hear this month of December. Give a gift for Christmas to Bible and keep us on the air and you can do that by telephone call or operator’s know.
Take a gift over the phone by credit card or we’ll send you an envelope with our address on it that you can mail a gift back to Bible and but we’re going to take a break and come right back and do a second half hour so stay Stay tuned, we’ll be right back. Don’t go away, Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Well, I’m Dr. Englund. It’s great to be with you today.
We sure do thank you for tuning into the broadcast. I wish you early a very Merry Christmas. We hope that you will take advantage of the things we have in our research center. Christmas gifts, we have some wonderful Christmas messages that you can listen to on CD. And by the way, you can also watch our sermons this month on the internet and they’ll be about the theme, about what the Bible says about Christmas. And so check it out if you would.
That’s BibleLineMinistries.org, the BibleLineMinistries.org. And then click on camera and during the week you’ll pull up the archives and all the past year sermons but if you want to get the sermon live on Sunday you’re there at 11 o’clock in the morning and the audio and the video will come up and you’ll be able to watch it live. We’re excited about that we had a report from a group of soldiers at Fort Bidding, Georgia watching the service Sunday live in the the barracks.
We know regularly people in Sweden are watching England, Canada and all around the world. It’s amazing to us to see how the Lord is using the Internet to get the message of the Gospel out. If you’d like to go to Israel with me, I’m leaving the 25th of February. That’s a Monday coming back March 7th of Friday. It’s 2650. I think I think no 2699 I forget the leave in the price but anyway it’s 2650 I think Round trip from New York, New Jersey to Israel back including hotels flights meals and so on and if you wait till December 11th It’ll cost you a hundred dollars more.
So there’s a savings of a hundred if you sign up by December 10th So keep that in mind and it’ll be trip number 15 for me We’re going to have a wonderful time and I’d love to have you on board with me on this wonderful trip to Israel plan to go and join us for this wonderful time together again Bible and his listeners supported this would be a great time for you to help us financially We have no other means of support and we thank God for all those who give to and pray for or Bible and without your help, we really could not be on the air.
God bless all of you. We don’t pay any salaries on myself included, so we are able to do more with the money that comes in than most ministries, I’m sure, because we throw it right all back out into getting the gospel out. We’re going to go back and return to stations that have been on break and do the second half hour of Bible and so I hope you’ll keep your radio tune right where it is and here we go we’re going to do a second half hour.
Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. All right we’re back from that break. This is Bibleline. It’s exciting to be with you today and we’re coming to you live. It’s Tuesday. Yesterday we had to play best up because we had some kind of a phone line cut down the street from Bible and headquarters and took all of our phone lines out.
The Bibleline is a great day for most all of the day. It was a quiet Monday. Usually our phones were ringing all day long and we didn’t hear a sound. Not a peep at all. Of course, we’re glad to be back on the air live with you today and thank you so much for tuning in to Bibleline. Again, this is the month of Christmas, December, and we sure would like to encourage you to help Bibleline at Christmas time here.
You know when the wise men gave their gifts they gave all their gifts all their gifts exclusively to Christ Is Jesus on your shopping list? Have you thought about it? Is he anywhere on that list you want to be we’ll make a list and they go out and make it gifts for everybody but Sometimes Jesus or God gets left out Why not put him at the top of your list and maybe by my mind would be a means or place where you could give to the Lord to get His message out on Bible.
And that would be greatly appreciated. And we hope that you will consider that on the month of December to give a special gift to Bible. And to help us come out of this year with our feet on the ground and bills paid and ready to move forward. We have stretched ourselves very thin because we believe the time is urgent right now. Christ is coming. We need to let people know how to be saved and the truths of God’s word.
So pray for us and your gifts and prayers are appreciated. I want to thank and advance all of you who pray for and give to my blind. You all are a special group of people know that about it. Real real real partners with this ministry. Leaving for Israel February 25th coming back March 7th. I’d love to have you go trip number 15 for me. I learn new things every time. It’s so exciting. It really is. I’m there a lot of places I’ve visited and I don’t think I need to go back to and see again.
But Israel has a special draw. This is the land. This is the place. This is where God chose to reveal himself on the planet in the person of Jesus Christ. Can you imagine actually walking where Jesus walked and experiencing the land and all of the culture and seeing prophecy fulfilled before your eyes. We’ll be visiting from one end of the country to the other, from the north to the south, to the east to the west. We’ll be at Bethlehem.
We’ll be at Jerusalem. We’ll be at the Tomb of Christ. We’ll be at the Hill of Calvary. We’ll be baptizing in the Jordan River. We’ll take a swim or a float in the Dead Sea. see beautiful waterfalls and mountains and rivers and it’s going to be exciting. You’ll just have a whole new perspective of your Bible and of the Middle East and of Israel once you have been. And I’d love to have you on board with me. As I said this time, we’ll be to fit number 15.
We’ll study the Bible really all day long. It’s just a wonderful, intense Bible study and it’s fun and we’re going to have fun. We really will and I hope you’ll join me on this exciting trip. So call us and find out. We can send you to brochure. You can also call and get more information. We’ll guide you through the whole process. But go to the website Bible Administries.org or .com and click on Bible Eye News on the home page.
And that will give you everything unfolding there. There’s two links that will give you the full brochure, the full itinerary. Everything’s right there. You can download it printed out on your printer, but we can also get you going with the information and help you through the process. So call us. And again, thank you for tuning in. We have several book specials. We still have the Zondervin pictorial Bible Encyclopedia. That’s not dictionary. In The Cyclopedia, it’s 18 pounds of books.
It’s full of pictures. It’s wonderful. It’s a $200 set. We have it as a Christmas special for Bible on a gift of 110. We also have a little spare shafer, systematic theology. Eight volumes in the original now placed in four beautifully bound volumes. You still get every word. Nothing’s left out. But it’s $180 that we have it as a gift of $110 to buy line. And a wonderful gift for somebody at Christmas that’s wanting to get into the Bible.
Have that in your library as a resource. It’s wonderful. We’ve got so many things. We have the Spanish English Scofield Bible. On the left side, it’s English with the Scofield notes. On the right side it’s the Spanish. Bible with the Scofield Notes. That’s wonderful. Wow, two Bibles in one. And we’ve got many special things like this and you’ll find them very, very helpful. We’re going to go to those phone lines in just a minute. If you have your pencil there, write down the phone number 1-800-576-3771.
That’s 1-800-576-3771. Would you give us a call? And we’ll try to give you a call. and we’ll try to get your question up on the air. And if you have a question and you can’t wait, you can leave that with the operator, we’ll put it up as an off air question and try to get that. In any case, we’re excited about what God is doing, and we’re looking forward to maybe meeting you and seeing you sometimes if you ever are in the Tampa Bay area.
coming down for Christmas if you live out of state. Take that extra minute, knock on our door and say hello and visit us here at our headquarters while you’re in town. That’ll be fun. And again, if you’re good as well with me, I’d love to have you do that. And again, use our website. We have so much. It’ll keep you busy for a long time. Okay, and you can use it as a great study tool. We have a question here from Jonathan in Tampa, Florida.
This is an off-air question. And Jonathan says Ecclesiastes 9,5 seems to contradict 2nd Corinthians 5,8. Well 2nd Corinthians 5,8 says, absent from the body, present with the Lord. But here it talks about in Ecclesiastes 9 in verse 5, for the living know that they shall die, but the dead know not anything, neither have any more reward. And the memory of them is forgotten. This is of course not a contradiction, but it’s saying that as far as people that have died, they do not have any more knowledge of what is going on here on the earth.
In other words, your relatives, your friends that have died in heaven can’t look down and see what is happening in your life. That would bring sorrow to heaven, wouldn’t it? We wouldn’t want to be sorrowful once we leave this place, so they don’t know anything about what is going on down here. But they are fully conscious and they are fully awake. 2 Corinthians 5, 8 says we’re absent from the body present with the Lord. So it’s not a contradiction, but you have to recognize that Ecclesiastes is talking about here from Earth’s perspective.
It says the memory of them is forgotten. Who is that memory kept by? It’s of course by people here on the earth. After people die, a number of years go by and they’re just pretty much forgotten. It’s just sad, but it’s true. And it’s a struggle to keep the memory living of somebody who’s passed on. 10 or 20 years go by and there’s just a fate recollection, maybe a photograph or something might remind you, but otherwise it’s just a short-lived.
So thanks for that question, but there is no contradiction in the Bible. Is divorce a sin? Well, God never intended for the divorce, and Sandy and St. Peter asked this question. It says in Malachi that God hates divorce. But God did allow for divorce because of the hardest of men’s heart. And in Deuteronomy 23, you have Moses writing out a bill of divorcement. And if somebody was especially in the area of sexual sins committing adultery, fornication, incest, bestiality, all those things would be grounds for divorce and remarriage.
And so in the case, God intended for you till death to you part. So maybe if you’re having difficulties you might want to consider a Christian counselor. And it’s very difficult to find good counselors out there, but if you need help, if you live in this area, I can recommend help for you. Let’s go to Robert in Daytona Beach. And Robert, welcome to Bibleline. You’re on the air. Yes, good morning, Pat Hank. I know a very important question I like to ask because I’m on the job right now but I’m gonna take your time out there.
Call you. Listen, question number one. I do believe the scripture says that when Jesus come back there’s going to be some of the members of the church that’s going to be still living and will be caught up to meet him in the air. Now. Are we going to be changed before we leave? Are we going to be changed when we meet them? And secondly, once we meet them in the air, where do we go from there? And I’m going to hang up and listen to you.
All right. Thank you, Robert. Robert in Daytona Beach calling in. Well, the answer is we’re changing. changed on the way up. He will transform our bodies in Philippians. It tells us about this wonderful event that happens at the Rapture. And it says in Philippians chapter 3 in verse Verse 21, who that is Christ shall change our vile body that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body. And so when you are raptured on the way up, you’ll arrive at the top of the ladder there or the, up in the air in the atmosphere to meet the Lord in your new body.
Where do we go from there? be forever with the Lord,” the Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 4, 17, and 18, and therefore were to comfort one another with these words. So we’ll go back to heaven. We’ll be with the Lord in heaven forever, and it happens at the moment of the event of the Rapture. If you’re living, you’ll be transformed into your new body on the way up. We have a call from Miami, and Barbara in Miami, welcome to Bibleline your own ear.
Yes, I have a question about Matthew chapter 25 verse 1 through 13 Okay, the 10 virgins. Yes Okay, the answer basically is Clear from verse 12 where Jesus says of the five foolish virgins. I know you not that tells us they were never saying a believer the Lord knows who they are it tells us in in 2 Timothy 2 19 that the foundation of the Lord’s standard sure having this seal that the Lord knoweth those that are his. So he knows who those are that are his that have trusted Christ, but these are those that did not know him.
So the five wise are wise because they did trust Jesus as Savior and are saved and have oil which many Bible scholars teach is the Holy Spirit and those foolish ones did not trust the Lord obviously and do not have oil and therefore they are not saved because they don’t have the Holy Spirit. But the answer is clearly told to us in verse 12, he says to those five foolish virgins, I know you not. Hope that helps. Thank you.
All right. You’re welcome. And, but again, salvation is a gift received by faith in Christ. Those that believe on Christ, the Bible says that he knows those that are his second Timothy 2 19, but the unbelievers, he says to them, I know you not. All right, we have the phone number here, 1-800-576-3771. Again we’re going to Israel, want you to go with me, really think about it. Get the brochure and find out information at least, even if you don’t go, but you can call and get information from us, or you can go on the internet and get all the scoop right there.
But it’s BibleLineMinistries.org. Click on Bibleline News on the homepage. And there there’s a link for the full brochure, a link for the full itinerary. And most questions are answered right then. But there’s a number to call. And you can use your credit card to make your down payment, which will get you going. And if you make your down payment, get going before December 11th, you save $100. It’s all-inclusive except for lunch, a round trip from Newark, New Jersey. We’re going to leave on a Monday, the 25th of February, coming back the 7th of March, a Friday.
We’ll miss one Sunday, but we’re going to see a lot of wonderful things in Israel. I would love to have you join me. We’ll get to really have a great time of fellowship together, spending two weeks together in the Middle East, what could be better this side of heaven? Well, if you have a question, call us. We have Dave down in Bradenton, Florida, and Dave, thank you for calling in. You’re on the air.
Hi Dave. Hi, I have a question about the rapture theory and how it first came about. What came about with the Lord, He wrote the Bible and it tells us in 1 Thessalonians 4-17 that we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the ear and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Now that phrase, the two words caught up is equivalent to the word rapture. You can put the word rapture there in fact.
In fact, the Latin translation of the New Testament has the Greek, the Latin word raptural from which we get our word rapture, but I’m glad the word rapture does occur in the Bible. It is really a word that most people don’t know the meaning of it. You’d have to go to their dictionary. It says it very plainly that there will be believers caught up that are living when Jesus returns and there are numerous verses that talk about the Rapture and Jesus talked about a group that would be exempted from death that would be living when he came back and never die in John 1126.
So there are a lot of verses we could go to, but definitely the Bible teaches the Rapture. But the whole Rapture theory of being caught up at the second coming before any tribulation or any tribulation takes place where in relation to a few or a number will be left here to witness them to preach and drive on and try to hurt. Well, that’s… That’s really not true. What happens after the Rapture is that God sends two prophets back from the Old Testament.
Moses and Elijah are coming back. If you read the last two verses of Malachi, and the Old Testament says in Malachi chapter 4 verses 5 and 6, I will send to you Elijah before the great dreadful day of the Lord. And that’s Elijah coming back clearly, and Moses will be the end of the Prophet. And through their evangelism, 144,000 Jewish men will get saved, Revelation 7, and through their evangelism, millions will get saved of all nations, the children’s tongues, but every believer will be raptured out, but God will go back and finish out the Old Testament.
There are seven years left to tick off God’s clock as far as the Old Testament age of law and the setting up of the kingdom that Christ promised, where Christ would come back as the king of the Jews and rule over them as their king. And that is not to happen. I think we’re about ready to be raptured out. And then God will send back two Old Testament prophets to finish out the Old Testament age that still has seven years to take off the clock.
Thank you. You’re welcome. Actually Daniel, and that’s a snow that, it’s a pivotal passage, a wonderful passage that tells us that there was a prophecy for Israel, for Daniel’s people and the city of Jerusalem in Daniel 924. The angel Gabriel comes from God to deliver this wonderful message to Daniel. He tells him to start counting from a commandment to rebuild Jerusalem. By the way, Nebuchadnezzar, excuse me, Nehemiah went back and built the walls and the temple in trouble times.
The commandment to do that was given that was a start count. Just about three weeks ago, an emergency dig in Israel, they discovered the wall of Nehemiah. This was a Persian prince that gave this commander and be able to go back to Jerusalem and rebuild the temple. And here they’re discovering the wall that he allowed to really take place. Wouldn’t it have been a job? Really get upset to think that wow, it was a Persian prince. You know, Persia was the name of Iran before they changed it.
And so the Iranians really were responsible for the Jews going back to their land and reestablishing themselves. And obviously today they want to destroy them and blow them up if they can get that nuclear bomb. That’s what they’re going to try to do. But in any case, there would be 483 years and then Jesus would die, be cut off out of the land of the living. And then it tells us about a seven year period that’s yet to come, which will be the last seven years of the Old Testament.
That begins immediately following the Rapture. And during that seven years, the Jewish people, the blinders will come off and millions of Jews will get saved and Christ will come back and be their king and rule over them here on the earth. We now have a, uh, uh, Hebron from Fort Lauderdale, Florida and, uh, Cameron, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Hey, you’re on the air. Yeah, I just have a question. What does it mean when the prophecy in Revelation 13 11 says America would speak as a dragon?
Well, the dragon here is Satan. If you read Revelation Chapter 12 verse 9, it tells us Satan is the dragon and he will speak through the Antichrist and also through the false prophet. And they will be there. They will both be two powerful men that will be the two men that will counter the two prophets that God will send back during the Tribulation period. Moses and Elijah are coming back. And then Satan raises up two men, the Antichrist and the False Prophet.
And so the dragon speaks through the Antichrist and so the Antichrist really becomes embodied in a person. And I think we lost that call, but thank you so much for calling in from down in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I’m Dr. Engvenschram. This is Bible and the phone number is 1-800-576-3771. Okay, we have Dave in St. Petersburg, Florida. Dave, welcome to Bibleline You’re On The Air. Yes, my doctor, I like them. This is for the replacement theology. Yeah. the proof that Israel is still God she lacked.
The only thing to do is go to the book of Revelation. It’s pretty much mentioned throughout the book of Revelation, especially in chapter 7, verse 4, 2, 14, verse 4. It’s about the 144,000 that are sealed. They’re all come from the tribes of the children of Israel, of all the 12 tribes. And those don’t seem like they’re Christians to me. It seems like they’re Jews. Absolutely. And also, just to make them think a little bit more about the replacement theology, they should go to chapter 22 of Revelation 18 and 19.
That since this book is the truth, the Word of God, for I testify unto every man that hears the words of the prophecy of this book, if any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book. If any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life and out of the holy city and for the things which are written in this book.
Amen. Well you know it’s a crazy theology and it’s obviously counter to the Bible but it was obviously believed because Israel was out of the land but now these people need to rethink because they’re back in the land and the news every day is all about this and of course President Bush has had this 50 countries assemble together in Annapolis, Maryland to talk about peace in the Middle East with Israel. Obviously they’re back and that’s what the… Exactly. And like I said the whole book of Revelation and the Tribulation, I always talk to be a fleet from your Senate gods and the Christian church is not the new Israel.
No, not at all. Not at all. They should really rethink what they’re preaching on that part. Amen. God bless you David for calling in. We have Larry and Paul Marber and Larry. Welcome to Bibleline You’re On The Air. Yes. I was wondering if you’ve had any updates. I know you’ve had Gershaw’s following on the air about the pimple. Yes. Have you had any updates on him? I talked to him just a couple of months ago we got to sit down and talk for about 40 minutes and no doubt about it.
He is disappointed with the weak leadership of Israel. He believes that in God’s timing that temple will be rebuilt. He has been cutting the stones and I think everything is really ready to go. It’s just a matter of the rapture happening I think first because the temple I don’t believe will be built until we are raptured out. So anytime everything is ready to go we’re going to be raptured out and God’s plan for Israel will continue. Yes, I’ll pray for him again.
