If you haven’t done it, you ought to go. It will absolutely change your life and I hope you will be with me when we see that happen.

We’re going to take a look at the Bible for a little bit and then we’ll get into our callers and we already have people calling in already a call from from Miami waiting and we’ll be taking those calls shortly. You know the Bible is an incredible book and we need to be able to read carefully and separate out between doctrines and most people don’t and that’s why we have confusion. If you go to with me to John chapter 6, Jesus said in John 6, 37, him that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out.

My phrase, cometh to me, is equivalent in the New Testament to salvation. In Matthew 1128 Jesus said, Come unto me, and I will give you rest. So to be saved, all we have to do is come. Everything has been done. Everything has been finished by Jesus. Our part is simply to come to Him and trust Him as our Savior. When you come to Christ, He then saves you. And when we come and we trust that He died for us, shed His blood, paid our sin dead and full with buried and rose again from the dead.

He saves us. at that very moment. And at that very moment, according to the Bible, you possess eternal life and he promises that he would have no wise cast you out. That’s the verse we began with, John 637. He says, him that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out. We had a fellow come in here just a few minutes ago from Wisconsin, done. And he has a prison ministry up there and he says he loves to use the Bible and materials and he says it reaches the men there in prison.

And he says the prisoners love to hear him say that God doesn’t give probation but salvation. He says they go wild. Being in prison you might imagine. Well, it’s not wonderful to know that he doesn’t give probation. He gives salvation and you can be absolutely assured of going to heaven. God bless you, Don. Thank you for coming by this morning. We have people come by from all over the United States and people come by and visit. We always enjoy getting to meet you.

We hope that we’ll get to meet you someday if you ever come to Florida. Come by and knock on our door. Well, John 637 says it. Him that come to me, I will in no wise cast out. And verse, I have to verse, we’ll have the phrase, come to me. the way you become saved. Then when you read the phrase, come after me or follow me, it’s talking about the Christian life. Jesus said over in Matthew 4 19, follow me and I will make you fishers of men.

Notice Jesus did not say follow me and you’ll be saved. He says follow me and I will make you fishers of men. I wrote a wonderful track called am I going to heaven?” And in that track with the brown cover that we have here available for you at our Resource Center, it lists lots of things that relate to the Christian life. And the first one there is follow Christ. Do you have to follow Christ to be saved? Well, I was with a friend and we were at a restaurant and I gave that track to the waitress.

And she stood there and carefully studied it. And it seemed like she was going to take forever saw I was kind of trying to jump started and I said what do you think you have to do to go to heaven? I said all of those things on there are wrong. Not one of them will save you because the only way to be saved is to trust Christ. And she really just got it up in my face and said what?

What? She said you mean to say it’s wrong to follow Christ because she apparently thought that was one of the things you had to do to be saved. It’s wrong to follow Christ. I said, no, it’s not wrong to follow Christ, but following Christ will not save you. Trusting Christ is how you become saved. And it’s amazing how people just don’t pay attention to terms. We trust Christ and His death and His finished work at the cross. We simply come to Him.

His work of salvation has been finished, completed at the cross, we simply receive it by faith. And when you come to Christ, you become saved. But then following Christ has to do with the Christian life and it’s not wrong to follow Christ, but you’re not saved by following Christ, you’re saved by trusting Christ. But when Christ said to follow me in Matthew 4, 19, he said, follow me and I’ll make you fishers of men. So in other words, following Christ means you become a disciple, you become a soul You become a fisher of men.

That is the result of following Christ. Many people, I think, sing hymns and songs and choruses and don’t have any idea about what they’re singing. I’ve heard people sing the song, I’m following Jesus. One step at a time, yet they never lead a soul to Christ. They never come to evangelize. And I have to say, they’re not following Christ. I said, follow me and I will make you a fisher of men. And so be careful what you’re seeing if it’s not really your words and you don’t mean that.

When we follow Christ, according to the Bible, we become fishers of men. And I heard an evangelist on the radio the other day, he said, I am in fellowship with everybody that’s a follower of Christ. And I said, you know, he doesn’t get it because… Followers of Christ aren’t always saved. You can so-called be a follower of Christ. However, that’s defined and not be saved. You have to trust Christ to be saved. Just like this young girl in the restaurant, the waitress that we had at our table said, what is it wrong to follow Christ?

No, it’s not wrong to follow Christ. But you’re not saved by following Christ. You’re saved by trusting Christ. And you know, she got it. She trusted Christ right there, standing at our table as she waited on us. Isn’t that wonderful? She understood the difference between following Christ and trusting Christ. You trust Christ to be saved. You follow Christ to be a disciple and become a fisher of men. And then we have people that talk about following Christ and they’re not really following Christ because they never fish for men.

They’re not concerned about souls. They never lead anyone to Christ. They’re not following Jesus either. So you really have to go back to the Bible and define the terms and get them right. I guess all of this is a result of my engineering training. I graduated in electrical engineering from the University of Florida and A plus B always had an equal C for me. And I found out that a lot of things in Christianity had up, A plus B didn’t equal C.

And people said things that weren’t connected to fact. But the Bible isn’t at fault. It’s the ones who read the Bible sloppily and aren’t careful students of the Bible and they miss it. When you read the verse Matthew 419, follow me, Christ says, and I will make you fishers of men. That’s what the result of following is. Not heaven, not any salvation, not being saved, but following Christ leads to becoming a fisher of men. If you’re not a fisherman, then you’re not following Christ.

But following Christ doesn’t save you. Coming to Christ, trusting in His finished work at the cross is what brings about salvation. When you trust Him as your Savior, God saves you, and He saves you forever. If you don’t know these fundamental differences when you read your Bible, you will get all mixed up. Because you will mix up what you have to do to be a disciple with what you have to do to be saved. And what we have to do to be saved is really simply come to Christ.

Simply trust Him as our only hope of heaven, recognizing that Jesus finished the work of salvation at the cross. And there’s nothing for us to do but simply come. After we’re saved, water baptism is a part of the Christian life. Confirmation if you go through classes to learn about your faith, that’s the Christian life. following Christ, part of the Christian life, living for Christ, the Christian life. Again, in most everything after you simply come to Christ and receive the free gift of eternal life is Christian life.

And you can’t mix them up because living the Christian life does not save you. You can live the Christian life and go to hell. That’s right. You can live the Christian life and go to hell. I was raised as a Christian in the church I was raised in and we were taught good works would get us to heaven and if we lived the Christian life we’d make heaven at the end. I was lost. I was not saved. I had always thought that works determine my salvation and I was hoping that I would make it.

I never knew until I was eighteen that Jesus paid it all and only, only, only by trusting In his finished work I could be saved. And that night at eighteen I trusted Christ. I said, Lord, I’ll receive your free gift of salvation. I’ll trust you as my only hope of reaching heaven. I’ll trust you as my Savior and receive that gift of everlasting life you’re offering. And what great news that was for me to hear? I’m telling you, after being raised in church for eighteen years, being confirmed and baptized the Maginides, Pastorized, Capsize, Simonized, you name it, went through it all, I was never saved.

And this is a message of joy. It really is. I had a funeral on Monday and the daughter of the deceased came up to me afterward and she said, you brought joy to my tears. And you know, understanding the Gospel, and this is what we discussed after that, that understanding the big picture that a person who goes to heaven is in a better place and when we trust Christ we can also join them there and while although death is sorrowful there’s joy.

that we’ll see each other again and live forever together. You know, if you’re a believer, you can be assured of reaching or seeing all of your believing relatives who die in heaven again and live with them forever. It’s got to be the best news you’re ever going to hear. I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom and this is Bible and we’re going to the phone lines that you can call us at 1-800-576-3771. And we’re going to talk to Ada down in Miami, Florida.

Ada, welcome. welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Hello. Hi. Peace be unto you. Amen. Okay. One of my questions is about how the new churches, a lot of the mega churches are teaching on prosperity instead of righteousness. Where in the Bible, I understand all the promises that God had made to those who are faithful to things about prosperity and things like that. But how do you feel about the new churches and how they’re not getting to the how to be righteous?

Well, you’re absolutely right. I mean, first of all, to be saved, you have to be as righteous as God. And that righteousness is imputed or credited to the account of the believer based upon the substitutionary death of Christ at Calvary. So when you trust Christ, you become righteous in God’s sight, but it is an imputed righteousness. In our actual state, we still have sin nature. We still will have sin in our life, but we can have victory over sin through the Holy Spirit who indwells us.

But these people do not rightly divide the word of truth. They’re stealing the promises to Israel. And again, this is a confused way of interpreting the Bible. They don’t take the curses for Israel to themselves, but they take all the blessings and steal them away from Israel. These are not for the Church. These are not for us, and they are really going to be fulfilled in the Second Coming in the Nation of Israel as they will be prosperous and rich, and they will be the richest nation on the earth.

And it’s not talking to us in the Church. Let me just have you look over in 2 Timothy chapter 3. Here talks about the last days for the church and look at what it says here. Yay and all, this is in 2 Timothy chapter 3 in verse 12, it says, Yay and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. Evil men, shells and seducers shall grow worse and worse deceiving and being deceived. It talks here about very difficult times for the believers in the very last days and how that there will be persecutions, afflictions, and so on and so on here in 2 Timothy chapter 3.

So if you’re going to live godly in Christ Jesus, you’re going to have trouble. Things aren’t really going to go smooth necessarily in your life. And obviously this is a false hope that they’re giving people and I’m afraid it’s bad doctrine and it’s wrong. You need to get out of those kind of churches for sure. You need to get into good Bible believing, teaching church. I got one more question and then I’m going to hang up. Where can I find come as you are?

I’ve searched and I don’t seem to find it but that quote has been referred to and used on several sermons and occasions but I can’t seem to find come as you are and I feel that people are taking that out of context and using it to abuse the church, abuse it in some way. Well, you know, we hear that in the hymn, just as I am I come without one plea, but that thy blood we shed for me, that’s accurate, that’s true, that’s the way we become saved.

We come as we are and we don’t offer anything to God to save ourselves. We simply trust Jesus himself as our Savior. And Romans 5, it basically says it there. It says in verse 6 of Romans 5, when we were yet without strength and due time Christ died for the ungodly. Then godly are all of us in the human race. We have all sinned and we are all ungodly. And then it says here in verse 8 of Romans 5, but God commended his love toward us in that while we were yet sinners.

Christ died for us. And that phrase yet sinners means while we were yet in the state or act of committing sins, Christ died for you and for me. Christ died for sinful men. I love that hymn as well. And that’s the only kind of men there are. Everybody in the human race has sinned and has come short of the glory of God. And if you were listening yesterday in Matthew chapter 19, Christ said there is none good but one and that is God.

There’s only one righteous. He is the one who substituted himself in our place and paid our total sendeth by his death for us at the Cross of Calvary. I hope that helps a little bit. Thank you for calling it. Keep listing that in Miami, Florida. And we’re now going to go to Benjamin in Clearwater. Benjamin, welcome to Bibleline.

Good morning. I just want to note the Bible says in John 637 that Jesus do not cast no body. Now, if the person, you won’t be in half free wheel. If the person has to be saved, decide. Okay. Hi, okay. I don’t want to say, I don’t want Jesus. I don’t want to accept my salvation. That person lost the salvation or it still be saved. Thank you. Okay, the answer is he still saved. Too bad, tough luck. Once you trust Christ, you can’t get out of it.

It’s impossible to reverse what happens at the new birth. And he says, I will in no wise cast out anyone that comes to me. And there’s a misunderstanding about free will. you and I do not have free will about everything. We do have the choice to accept or reject Christ. But once you’ve accepted him, you can’t undo that. You don’t have a choice to undo that. So we don’t really have free will. For example, you can’t choose what race you’re going to be.

You can’t choose what color of skin you’re going to have. You find that yourself to be born, whatever race you are, and that had nothing to do with you, and there’s nothing you can do about it. You’re stuck. So you can’t say, well, I don’t like being black. I want to be white, or I don’t like being white. I want to be black, or I don’t like being red. I want to be green. Whatever it is you don’t like and you want to change you, you can’t change those things you’re just stuck.

And there’s many things that obviously that we don’t have free bill about. We can’t change at all. And once you trust Christ, that is the choice you do have. You cannot undo that choice. And it says over in Timothy, let me read this wonderful verse to you, which I think will perhaps bring clarification here, but in Timothy in chapter 2 of 2 Timothy it says, and I’m almost there. Here it says verse 13, the 2 Timothy chapter 2. If we believe not, yet God abides faithful, he cannot deny himself.

So even if you stopped believing, too bad, so sad, it won’t change anything because God is faithful to the promise he made. He said he would save you at the moment of belief eternally, that he would remain faithful to that promise. He cannot deny himself. So when you trust Christ, you enter into everlasting life at that moment. And God says even if you stop believing too bad, you can’t get out of this thing. You are stuck. You have to go to heaven, or they’ll like it or not.

That doesn’t mean we have a license to sin, because the sinning believer will be disciplined, but not cast out. He can spank you. He can get your attention. He can take you home to heaven early. but you’re still saved. Benjamin is no longer there on the line. But thank you for that call Benjamin, and that’s Benjamin from Clearwater, Florida. We have Andy in Tampa, Florida calls in with his author question. He says, if I get married by justice of the peace at a courthouse, is this recognized by God?

Absolutely. When you get married, you are married, whether you do it in church or whether you do it outside of church. So don’t think that you’re not obligated. Once you come together, leaving your parents and others to form one new family, you are married and that is recognized by God. Absolutely. Well, Andy, I hope that helps. Definitely if you do that, you’re just as marriage as if you were married in the church. One isn’t an advantage over the other in that way, but it is wonderful to have your marriage in church because you’re testifying.

The fact that you believe in God and that you want God to be a part of your marriage. In any case, we’re coming up on the end of the program here and we’re going to do a second half hour. I hope you’ll plan to go with us. We’re going to go to the phone lines. We have Charles in Tampa, Florida. Charles, welcome to Bibleline, and you are on the air. and I think this is Charles I’m not getting the right number here but Charles welcome to Bible it this day even plant city okay I thought it might be because I don’t see Charles who had Dave welcome cold out there plant city this morning it’s time to take care of them strawberry well say me some of those What’s your question?

I’m not sure what’s wrong with you. All right. I’m happy to hear. And actually my question. Yes, sir. I think, well, earlier in the week you were talking about the Old Testament and how it speaks of the birth of Jesus and the crucifixion in all Psalms 22, Isaiah 53, Isaiah 9, 6, those verses. I was just wondering the Jewish people that don’t believe, how do they explain this when they read these things in the old testament and all hang up and listen to your answer.

Well they don’t explain it because they don’t… Because they don’t read it. Most Jewish people are totally unfamiliar with their Bible and have ever read those passages and that’s why. If you can get them to see it, if you get them to look at it, if they’ll pay attention, they can’t explain it. And I’ve led many, many Jewish people to Christ because once they see it, it’s pretty plain. And I find that they can be led to Christ. So they just don’t know about them.

Nobody ever points them out. They don’t teach the Bible. And they don’t go over these passages. And so they just don’t explain them because they don’t know what they are. know what they are. Thank you, Dave, from Plant City. We need to explain some of these passages to Jewish people and obviously they have no answer. It’s pretty plain. I think they have to be confronted and then if they’re confronted and they still reject it, it’s just because they’re being stubborn because the Bible is clear that Jesus Christ is the Messiah and that He’s come.

We now have Robert in Bradenton, Florida, and Robert, welcome the Bible on you are on there. The Bible gambling. I don’t know. I got… Well, there’s a problem with any type of addiction. And gambling is one of those things. The Bible tells you, if you read Proverb, you get a lot of advice and the principle is there that if you think you’re going to get rich quick, you’re probably not. And when your lust and greed for money causes you to go that direction, you might find it will just eat your assets up.

Some people lose everything they have because they gamble away what they have. There’s no verse in the Bible that says, Thou shalt not gamble. But the principle of getting rich quick, getting rich without laboring, without working, God intended for us all to work. And work is not a curse. Adam and Eve were given a job in the garden of Eden before they fell. And what happened with the curse when they fell was that God said you’re going to have to really sweat now when you work to make the same amount you would make before the curse.

And so work is not a curse and we ought to earn our living. And gambling is obviously a thing of greed where you want to get rich quick without any effort and that can become an addiction and just like alcoholism and other addictions, it can drain your finances down and nothing ruin your financial life and your families and cause great harm. So just read Proverbs and you’ll find good advice about financial matters and that’s certainly the good advice that Proverbs give is don’t think you’re going to get rich without any effort at all.

That’s a real rarity. Alright, we’re going to invite you to call us here at Bible 9. It’s 1-800-576-3771. 1-800-576-3771. Alright, Thomas and Sarah Suddis says, as he leaves this offer a question, I heard this morning a preacher say that Jesus was transfigured on Mount Hermon because of the elevation in feet. I’ve heard you say Mount Tabor, if there is a scripture, please give one which is correct. And nobody really knows for sure. Mount Hermon is actually the highest mountain.

It’s snow-capped all year long and it could be the mountain. But the traditional site and geographically close to where they had been and were is Mount Tabor. And Mount Tabor is not quite as high, but it’s also been called for so many years the Mount Transfiguration. We’ll have to wait until we get to having to find out the correct answer because the Bible doesn’t give the mountains name. So it could be either one of those two that’s generally debated which one of the two, but Mount Hermon is to the north, it’s no capital year long.

This other mountain is right there, adjacent to the Sea of Galilee, it is a very tall mountain. We’ll have to wait and see. Thomas, I don’t know the answer. We’ll have to see there’s no verse in the Bible that tells us exactly which mountain it was. We now have Charles in Tampa, Florida. Charles, welcome to Vaguellen. You are on the air.

I don’t understand why you would think that. Christ died and then his soul descended into paradise in the heart of the earth. He told the 19th today and also it would be in paradise. He went down there where all the, in the heart of the earth, were all of the believers of the of the Old Testament age were waiting until their sins were paid for. And Christ announced liberty and proclaimed victory over sin when he went down into the heart of the earth and on the end of the third day he emptied the place out and now paradise is in heaven itself.

So all those that were waiting, the heart of the earth for their sin to be paid for, then were able to enter directly into heaven. And so there is no contradiction or lie. Christ died and on the third day when he came back from the dead, he re-intered into that same body that was still lying in the tomb. Ed resurrected that body, but Christ went down into the heart of the earth where he emptied out paradise. Ephesians 4 is a great passage in verses 8 through 10.

It says that Christ ascended into the lower parts of the earth. He led a group captive up to heaven and gave gifts unto men. He’s talking about delivering the believers of the Old Testament from the heart of the earth from Paradise, which has now been removed and taken to heaven. I hope that answers a little bit, but go ahead and let’s see if I’m getting the question right. Now perhaps you missed a question. He said three days and three nights.

And if you count from your good Friday evening to Sunday morning, there will only be two nights on a date. Well, you’re absolutely right. And of course, that’s wrong. The good Friday myth is wrong. I was just playing Friday. Christ was crucified on Wednesday. And Wednesday, at sundown, he was placed in the grave. If you go 72 hours Christ rose Saturday at sundown and that was the end of the Sabbath. If you follow the way Jewish people count time, it’s from sundown to sundown and the Jewish people worship at the synagogue on Friday night which is the Sabbath that begins Friday at sundown and ends Saturday at sundown.

Christ rose right 72 hours after he was placed in the grave at sundown on Saturday which which is the beginning of Sunday. Sunday night came first and then Sunday morning when the people came they discovered an empty tomb. Nobody saw the resurrection on Sunday morning because he didn’t rise on Sunday morning. Christ rose at the end of the Sabbath which was Saturday night at sundown. Remember if he goes into grave at sundown he has to come out at sundown.

If you keep Christ in the grave till Sunday morning he’d be in the grave three days and four nights. He said he’d be in the grave three days and three nights at 72 hours and that’s exactly what happened. Okay, why is this not being felt and we teach them one of those directions? Well, they are everybody’s wrong. I keep… I keep teaching on it all the time but nobody seems to want to move tradition and they wanted to stay with the same wrong teaching they’ve had all their life.

But Christ was… Yeah, okay, without that in turn will be a false mess fire than wouldn’t it? No, it’s false teaching in churches. Preachers don’t… Preachers don’t even want to touch us. I have a sundown service every year because Christ rose its sundown. We don’t have a sunrise service. Actually the origin of the sunrise service was pagan and that’s when Astroth, the mother of Bail, celebrated getting her son back from the dead and he was the Su-N God, the the sun god and they would stand in the dark facing the east watching for the sun to rise as a picture of bail rising from the dead and that’s really all about bail worship.

That’s why I don’t really like to do a sunrise service because it all has to do with bail worship and you can read it in the Old Testament where they would stand. I always wondered as a little boy why does everybody get up before dark get all dressed go outside, stand and face the east and watch for the sun to come up. That has to do with bail worship. And it’s a celebration of ask the short form of ash, asdrava’s ashtar, the English form is Easter.

So Easter is the mother of Dale and when you celebrate Easter, you’re celebrating the resurrection of Dale, not Christ, and it’s all convoluted with Christianity. That’s why you have to get into your Bible and see what’s really going on in Christ really rose at sundown Saturday. And that was the end of the Sabbath in the beginning of Sunday, Sunday night began first then Sunday morning followed and they discovered the tomb was empty when they got there and The angels even rebuked the ladies.

They said why do you seek the living among the dead? He’s not here He’s risen just like he told you says why do you come to the grave? You shouldn’t be here. He’s he’s already risen and that was in the morning when they came the angels told them What are you doing here? They shouldn’t have been there Okay, well, I just know that that’s that’s not true because I haven’t thought that for 40 years. So I’ve always thought… Well, I guess you seem to be on the right track.

I just wonder why it’s not being taught today. Well, Sunday is the day of the resurrection, but in the morning they discovered the empty tomb, but he actually had been risen 12 hours by the time they discovered the tomb empty. Christ rose at the end of the Sabbath and the beginning of the first day the week which was Saturday at sundown. 72 hours after he was placed in the grave. Thank you Charles and a good question and I have a number of articles written about that which explain how it all works out scripturally and how that it has to be a Saturday night resurrection and a Wednesday crucifixion.

We have Mark in Seminole Florida, Mark Wauchman of Imogon, Hey Dr. Lynch and I have a one quick question and I’ll hang up and listen. In the old Testament, whether Jews commanded to proselytize or win converts to their religion, or that just meant for the Gospel and we can’t make any sustenance. Well, they were told to evangelize. And I love Proverbs 1130, which is Old Testament, which is one of the verses that influenced me as a brand new believer.

It says there, he that winth souls is wise. I couldn’t get it out of my head as a new believer, just kind of specter and rang. He that winth souls is wise. He that winth souls is wise. And I was in college at the University of Florida and I thought I was pretty smart stuff and that verse convicted me and I said to myself You know in God’s eyes Hank you’re dumb Because you’re not winning any souls and if God says the one who wins souls is wise Then you need to get smart and that’s when I dedicated my life to win souls to Christ and I did that when I was 18 627.

And that’s a great Old Testament verse. He did what it’s all just wise. There are many verses about Solon in the Old Testament. Okay, the term Jew is more of a religion than a Jew or he was born as. Is that right? Well, the Jews get more or race. They are. They are descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And the word Jew is a byword or slang word that was attached to the Jewish people when they were in captivity in Babylon around BC 606 when Nebuchadnezzar conquered them and carried away.

Iraq and Judea was the largest of the 12 tribes and the whole nation was called Judah and the Babylonians were lazy and didn’t pronounce possible so they just said Jew instead of Judah and that’s when that name Jew got hung on everybody. So everybody in the whole nation is called a Jew but technically only the descendants of Judah are Jews. So that’s what I’m… You sure welcome. And by the way, it’s a negative term. And Jewish people react negatively to it.

When you talk to a Jewish person and you say you’re a Jew, they take offense to that. It’s not the word you want to use. But it’s done. And Moses predicted that in Deuteronomy chapter 28 that this is exactly what would happen. That in the latter days the Jewish people would be called by a slang word, a by word, a proverb and that’s exactly what has happened. Prophecy has been accurately fulfilled. We now have Michael. In St. Petersburg and Michael, welcome to Bibleline.

You’re on the air. Yes, good morning, Dr. I was curious on the thing that Jesus. That’s terribly bad teaching. You know, Jesus said on the cross in John chapter 19, it is finished. Those three words in the English are one word in the Greek in which the New Testament was written and it’s an accounting term to tell us by. It means paid in full or full satisfaction received on the for the debt, and Christ fully paid our sin debt, and full satisfaction was received while He was still on the cross.

Christ did not pay for one sin after He died. He paid for it on the cross fully and completely, and this is nonsense. And Christ never went to hell. Christ descended into Hades and into Paradise, but He never went to hell for sure, and Christ never battled the demons or anything else in hell as some of these stories are taught by the so-called Faith Movement. Those people are way out. Okay, well thank you doctor. Okay, that’s just not scriptural at all and Christ paid for all of our sin on the cross and then he announced Liberty in Paradise.

Remember he told the dying thief today that so be with me where? In Paradise, the dying thief and he weren’t battling demons. They were proclaiming liberty to all the Old Testament saints that they had what I call a layaway salvation. They couldn’t enter directly into heaven because their sins were not yet paid for. They were promised salvation, but that promise became a reality when Christ fully paid their sin debt. And on the third day, Christ emptied Paradise out and took it up to heaven.

And now Paradise is where the Lord is in heaven itself. We now have an anonymous call from Colleen, Texas. And so Mr. Anonymous, welcome to my Thank you sir. I was talking to someone with regards to Joshua chapter 7 about Aiken and how he stole something, and how difficult it is for us not to steal, and also I was talking to them about provers, and this was a preacher he kept saying that we are not under their law anymore.

How should we look at that it still properly? Am I correct then looking at it that way? Of course. But we’re still obligated to… not break the commandments, but we don’t do it from the commandments then, but rather from the heart. As a believer, we certainly should murder, steal, commit adultery or do any other sin condemned by the Ten Commandments. Let me share you with your great verse, Mr. Anonymous, from Ephesians, if you look in Ephesians chapter 4, look at what it says to the believers who are not under the law.

Ephesians makes it very clear that we are not under the law. But in Ephesians chapter 4, it says in verse 28, let him that stole, steal no more, but rather let him labor. And it says you’re working with his hands, the thing which is good that he may have to give to him that needed. Verse 29, let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth and so on and so on. So the Bible teaches, certainly we should live Godly lives, but we’re not under the law.

We don’t do it because thou shalt not, but we do it because we want to please the Lord that we love. Right. Say there’s someone who commits adultery. In Proverbs chapter 6 the last two verses it speaks about that jealousy is the rage of a man and he was not sparing the day of vengeance and he was not accepting rewards. That is a prophecy. Does that have to come to pass though? No, certainly not. Okay. Okay. All right. Okay, thank you sir.

All right, you’re very welcome. And so the fact that we’re not under the law doesn’t mean that we’re to be law breakers. But Jesus said that we should love. And if we love the Lord with all our heart and if we love our neighbor as ourselves, then we’re not going to be breaking the 10 commandments. obviously not want to steal from our neighbor or lie to our neighbor or We’re at the end of the program here. Time has really rolled fessly here.
