Welcome to Bibleline with Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Coming to you from Calvary Community Church in Tampa, Florida. Declaring God’s love through radio and television. Providing real answers to an ever searching world. Got a question? Dial toll free at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 800-576-3771. Now here’s the host of Bibleline, Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Well, good morning and welcome to our friendly video with Dr. Lindstrom. That’s right. We are here at the Sea of Galilee and we bring this program to you and it’s exciting.
It really is. We are able to look at our… at our hotel window at the Sea of Galilee. We are below sea level because the Sea of Galilee is 690 feet below sea level. And so we’re below sea level right now bringing this podcast but we’re able to breathe and we’re able to see it’s amazing really to be below the sea level and the surface of the sea of Galilee is almost 700 feet below sea level. Anyways, beautiful, we’ve had a beautiful day.
We’ve traveled to numerous places today and seen a lot and we’ll try to share some of that with you on the program today. By the way, you can call in with your questions or comments at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771 and we invite you to call. By the way, you can order products over the phone or you can get a resource sheet sent to you if you’d like to get some of the resources we have that will really help you, I believe, in learning God’s Word.
You know, we have just finished the book of 1 Peter, 10 Hours of Teaching on 1 Peter, I think that would really be a great study aid tool. We have 20 hours on the Gospel of John. These are on CD and they’re also available on DVDs. If you want the audio and video or you want just the audio, you can order those CD series. And by the way, a lot of people use them to facilitate a Bible study. Some play about a half hour’s worth of the study, and then they have a discussion, and then they have some refreshments, and it really works well.
I know across the country, there are quite a few people doing that, and I just was talking to some that are going to start doing that shortly. So that’s one idea for you about how to have a home Bible study or a Sunday school class and use the CDs to facilitate the class. We also want you to know that you can get our radio program right now live on the internet. You can also go into archives and catch two years with the radio programs.
Just go to BibleLineMinistries.org and click on the spinning globe and you’ll be connected to the radio shows. You can also leave a question when that page comes up. It’s all set up for you to type it in and hit submit. Also, you can go there and click on the TV set, you know, TV programs. You can click on the camera and get our worship services. And if you go there 11 o’clock Sunday morning, you’ll actually catch the worship service coming up live.
And we hope you’ll do that. We are, as I said, in Israel, and we would love to have you get with us on the next trip and if you’re interested we’d like to get your name so we can keep you in the loop here as we make our plans so you can just go at 1-800- number 1-800-576-3771 and give him your contact information and we’ll try to keep you informed. We are talking about possibly of maybe Egypt or Jordan the Rock City of Petra or maybe Greece and we’d like your input and of course we’ll be going to Israel but we would add another country or two on the trip I think it would be great.
By the way we feel perfectly safe we are here and haven’t experienced anything. Not even the indication of anything that would make us think we’re in harm’s way. It’s been absolutely peaceful and we watch the news here and it makes us afraid to go back to the states. It’s scary back here in the US and we just feel like we’re perfectly safe here. I wanted to say that because a lot of people were worried about what is it like to go.
But every trip I’ve taken, this is my number 15 trip and never have really experienced any danger. So we’d love to have you go. And so if you’re thinking about danger, if we thought there was going to be some, we wouldn’t take you. Today we went by Tina of Galilee where Jesus performed the first miracle. A lot of people don’t realize that Christ did no miracles at all prior to the baptism with John the Baptist. No childhood miracles, no miracles, up until he was thirty when he was baptized.
And it was not until then that he started his earthly ministry. But anyway, the cana of Galilee that the Bible mentions is generally not shown to tourists because when people came here several hundreds of years ago travel was much more difficult. The roads weren’t as good and they didn’t have cars or air conditioned buses like we’re riding on. And so the tour guides, knowing that the tourists really didn’t know the difference, would take them to a city that was much more accessible, not the real Tana.
And so this became known as Taina also. And guess what? There is a church built there that claims to be the very spot. They have water jars that claim to be the water jars that we use and that’s all bogus and really is the true at all. And of course, if you are a serious student, you can find these things out. I happen to have a national geographic map of the Middle East. And it really points a lot of these things out right on the map.
It has little notes next to the different cities. And I think they only saw for eight or $10. If you want to get one, you can call the 800 number for National Geographic and order over the phone and they can ship it out to you. But it’s a dynamite resource and help in learning about the cities and the places in the Middle East. We also then went to Nazareth, and there we saw, of course, where Mary and Joseph raised Jesus after they had fled to Egypt and came back to Nazareth.
There Jesus worked in the carpenter shop of his father until he was 30. Not until he was 30, he started his ministry. Then when he was water baptized by John the Baptist, that marked the beginning of the ministry of Christ. We found basically the people in Nazareth lived a very simple life. We visited a sample village of what Nazareth was like 2,000 years ago. There were live people there that acted out their parts. It was very fast day. I think very enlightening to most people as to where they slept and how they ate and how they made the terraces to grow food.
the land is hilly and not flat, they would have to make flat terraces to be able to plant and cultivate the food that they would have. So we had a wonderful time seeing that, but then we also got a beautiful look at the whole countryside as we went up to the top of Mount Tabor. And Mount Tabor is possibly the Mount of Transfiguration, where Christ was transfigured been seen as he will be in the Second Coming. There are other suggestions because it simply says in the Bible that Christ took His disciples up into a high mountain.
It doesn’t tell us what high mountain and Mount Hermon in the North is really over 7,000 feet, so that would be the highest. But it doesn’t tell us in Scripture that it’s the highest mountain. It This is a high mountain and this is certainly a high mountain. Close proximity to the Sea of Galilee, where the cycles were, and the table work could really be the very mountain. Anyway, we got up as far as our bus would take us and then we were put in the taxi caps and driven to the top.
The road really winds with horse shoe curves all the way up and our drivers I think drove it as fast as their little Taxis would go and it was a thrill ride. I felt like I was at Disneyland or someplace on one of the Rides that they have but in any case we made it safely to the top and a beautiful beautiful view you, but this is the mountain. And I’m going to read from the scriptures. You know it says in Matthew 16 verse 28, Jesus says, barely, barely, I say unto you, there shall be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till we shall see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.
What is interesting about this verse is that many people have said, well, see the Bible’s wrong. Obviously that didn’t happen, they think, and they say that those people all died and Jesus Christ is still not back. So how can we trust our Bible? It seems to be that the Bible is wrong. People have been saying that Christ is going to be coming for a long time and here Jesus says there would be some standing right there that would not die until he saw it.
Well the interesting thing is that the answer is right here. You know, the chapter division probably is at the wrong place. But then you’d leap the chapter, which most people just stop at the end of the chapter and don’t read further. But if you go to chapter 17 in verse 1, it says, and after six days, Jesus take if Peter, James, and John, his brother, and bring them up into a high mountain apart. And so here Christ transfigures himself.
seen as he will be in his second coming and notice three of the disciples that were standing with Christ lived to see the second coming. They saw it six days later and it was Peter, James and John that got to see it. And here it says here that they took these three men up into a high mountain. It doesn’t say mountain it is but we were on the traditional site, table, which is really way up there as you look over the countryside you can see everywhere from that vantage point.
But then this is verse 2 here of chapter 17, and was transfigured before them, and is faced and shined as the sun, and his raiment was as wide as the light. Well, guess what? That’s exactly the description we have of Christ in Daniel, also in Revelation chapter 1, and this is Christ as He will be seen in His Second Coming. And then it says in verse 3, and behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elijah talking with Christ. So here Moses and Elijah are there with Christ at the Mount of Transfiguration.
We believe that these are the two prophets that are clearly going to be associated with Christ in the Second Coming, and the book of Revelation tells us that both Moses and Elijah will preach right after the Rapture happens for three and a half years. And we find that definitely the Old Testament tells us that Elijah will come back. Malachi, the last book of the Old Testament, verses 5 and 6, tells us that Elijah would come back before that great and dreadful day of the Lord.
refers to the first three and a half years of the tribulation and the last three and a half years of the tribulation are described as the great and gentle day of the Lord. So in the first half the two witnesses will come back I believe to crank up the witnessing process. Remember at the rapture all believers are taken off the planet and so there is nobody He left alive that knows that Christ is our Savior. So for witnessing to continue, we need somebody who knows how to tell the story.
And so the few prophets will come back and preach. And they will evangelize 144,000 Jewish men and they in turn will evangelize the world. And it says in Revelation 7, 9 that I saw a great multitude with no man can number of of all nations and kingdoms and tongues, which these evangelists, 140,000, will lead to Christ right after the rapture during the tribulation period. So we have here Moses and Elijah standing with Christ in the amount of transfiguration. Then that says here that answered Peter and said unto Jesus, Lord, it’s good for us to be here.
If you will, let us make here three tabernacles or tenths, one for the one for Moses and one for Elijah. Well, where did Peter get that idea? But all of a sudden, he was making plans apparently to stay around for a while. He was enjoying the experience. So let’s make some tents and just hang out here. And so they were going to camp out according to Peter’s plans. But what’s almost going to give him here is that while he was going along about his grandos plans, he says while he gets spake, he’ll hold a bright cloud over and set them, and behold a voice out of the clouds which said, this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased.
So here we have God speaking right over the top of Peter’s words. I think Peter couldn’t wait to start talking and was talking without really thinking and God simply said, this is my beloved son whom I am well pleased. And it says, here ye him. So Christ is the one that we’re to listen to, and here Christ is declared to be the Son of God by God the Father from heaven. Verse 6 says, and when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face and were sore afraid.
And Jesus tells them, arise and be not afraid as Christ here comforts his disciples. And when they had lifted their eyes, they saw no man say Jesus only. So we find here Moses and Elijah disappear and the disciples saw only Christ. But here you have actually the second coming being previewed for three of the apostles six days after Christ had said that there are some standing among you right now that shall not die. die or taste of death, though they have seen Christ coming in the Second Coming.
So it happened. And the Bible is not wrong. The Bible doesn’t contain contradictions. And so it’s an amazing thing. Anyway, we stood on that mountain and of course we had a great time just drinking it all in. We entered into a church there and they had two rooms, the architect designed on either side of the front of the church, one for Elijah and one for Moses. And we entered the room for Moses and there we read scripture and talked about the amount of transfiguration which is possibly Mount Paybors.
Can’t always say that it’s the exact place but it meets the description pretty well. probably is the right place as not Herman which is higher is not as accessible as much further away and this one is real close to where Peter, James and John and the other disciples lived. Then we of course left there and we went to Armageddon and Armageddon was spectacular. that is where the world will come to war at the end of the tribulation and it’ll be the mother of all wars or the worst war the world has ever seen and a third of the world’s population will die.
And we believe we’ve got to be getting close. You don’t have to worry. I don’t have to worry about it because if you’re a believer you’ll be caught out of the rapture and it will be seven years after the rapture. that this event takes place. I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom. This is Bibleline and we’re coming to you from Israel. That’s right. And we have had a wonderful time being here and we are trying to bring these radio programs to you so that you can get a feel for what we’re experiencing.
And we’d like to entertain your questions as well. You can call in. and leave them and we’ll get them an answer of here in Israel. Let me just catch some of your questions as we have them off here and I’m going to answer one here from Magna in Tampa, Magna Magna I guess in Tampa. If a person was divorced due to addiction or abuse and then they got married, can they be forgiven? First of all, all manner of sins are forgiven when you trust Christ as your Savior.
There is only one sin that is unforgivable and that is rejection of Christ. The unfardonable sin is the die not trusting Christ as your Savior. So certainly as far as salvation is concerned, you are forgiven when you trust Christ of all of your sins. So hopefully that answers that question for you. Holly in Northville, New York calls in and she leaves this off her question. Number one, she asks, I showed someone who claims to be saved by asking Jesus into his heart the verses you gave to me.
He still does not get the point. What can I do or is it not? What can I show it? Well obviously if you are going to be correct on this thing you are not saved by inviting Jesus in your heart. So there is a chance that the person you’re talking to is not saved because it’s a consequence of salvation. In other words when you trust Christ that he died and shed his blood was buried in Rosalgon from the dead God saves you.
And as a consequence Christ will come and indwell you. But He doesn’t come to indwell you because you ask Him to come to indwell you. No more than if you were to ask Christ to take you to heaven. Unless you trust Christ that He died and shed His blood, He will not take you to heaven. But if you trust Him, the consequence of trusting Him will be that you’ll end in heaven. You could tell God I don’t want to go to hell.
Please don’t let me go to hell. And you would wind up in hell unless you trusted Christ as your Savior and that is not shed blood pain for all of your sins. Then a consequence of trusting Christ would be that you would not go to hell. So basically to invite Christ in your heart is not biblical. It is a false invitation and the devil’s clever, isn’t he? He gets people to use these kinds of invitations and a lot of preachers use it and it’s popular by radio broadcasters and television preachers alike, but it will not save you.
You can invite Jesus into your heart. By the way, I did that for my younger life before I got saved probably at least 600 times and I was never saved. Church asked us to do that every Sunday. We had a moment of silence and we would sing the chorus into my heart, into my heart, come into my heart, Lord Jesus, come in today, come into stay, come into my heart, Lord Jesus. I apologize for breaking into song. I am some of you probably were ready to turn the dial, but hang in there.
I promise not to sing anymore on this particular show. So I would, every Sunday when they gave the moment of silence as Jesus into my heart. Sometimes I would say, if you came in and left, Jesus would you come back and please stay. You see my theology was all based on what the chorus of that song said, which was totally wrong. And then I’d say, if you’ve never have come in, would you please come in to my heart for the first time and would you stay and always wanted to get that part in there because basically it was implied that you could be lost after you became saved.
Because Christ would come into your heart and then he’d get restless and leave and then you’d have to invite him back in and then he may or may not leave the next time but he could leave and you have to just keep praying him back into your heart. And what a confusing background I had before I got saved because I was taught. Obviously you could lose it. Then you had to invite Jesus back in your heart. Anyway, I did that from the time I was sixth until I was 18.
I sold him ever good mischief. I had to be deathly ill to do so. And so if you multiply 12 years times 50 Sundays, that’s 600 times I invited Christ to my heart, I was never saved. I wasn’t saved until I understood. I had the trust that Christ died and paid for my sins by His death and shed blood. And when I did that, I received eternal life and I was saved. So hopefully that answers your question. You need to just show that it’s not biblical and we’re saved by trusting Christ.
I want to say goodbye to you and my Emmy. We’re so glad you’re listening and we heard about your power failure earlier in the week on Monday. But we are going to have you sign off before the other stations that were on. I just wanted to say we’re grateful and excited that you’re on the air and we’re down there every Monday through Friday at 10 o’clock in the morning. We’re gonna come back the second half hour and talk more about what we did today I think you’ll find it interesting and I hope you’re enjoying if you have a question you have a comment you could call the 800 number and leave your question off air or if you You can get a resource cheat sent and a or look on our website to see all the resources we have that might be helpful to you.
I’m Dr. Englunds from this is Bibleline and we’re going to come back after a short break into a second half hour. But if your station doesn’t carry it, which a few don’t, the second half hour that is, You can go to the internet and test the full program at BibleLineMinistries.org. That’s BibleLineMinistries.org. Click on the spinning globe for radio, click on the TV for TV television, click on the camera for our worship services. And I hope you’ll enjoy when we’re not being broadcast live, all of the programs and the many other things you can get on the internet.
We’re really excited about being here in Israel. If you want to go on the next trip, we’re talking about one right now. You can get in on the input for that by giving us your contact information. Call the 1-800-number, 1-800-576-3771 and let us know that you want to go. We’ll obviously be influenced by what time of year you can go, where you would like to go in addition to Israel and we’ll make our plans around you. We’re going to take a short break, we’ll come right back and do a second and a half hour, so don’t change that radio dial.
Keep it right where it is and we’ll come back and we’ll do a second. Don’t go away, Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. I’m Dr. Engdinsurman and it’s great to be with you and we’re really excited about being here in the state of Israel and guess what we’re broadcasting to you from below sea level. Kind of mazes me. I just can’t, I’m a fascination I guess with that but the Sea of Galilee, beautiful as it is, we’re in a hotel here right on the edge of the sea, beautiful hotel and we can look out our windows at the Sea of Galilee but we are below sea level.
This whole Jordan Valley is a fault line that runs all the way south into Africa. And the valley here that houses the Sea of Galilee is almost 700 feet of sea level at this point. And by the time you get down to the Dead Sea, it’s 1,300 feet below sea level. Isn’t that amazing? What is my mind? We’re having fun. We would love to have you with us on the next trip. You might want to call and leave us your contact information and we’ll try to include you in our plans and hopefully include you on our trip when we go again.
So get ahold of us and maybe tell us when you could best go because that might help influence us as to when. If you just let us know that you could travel between certain dates that would help us make the plans. Also, of course, tell us where you’d like to go and addition to Israel. We’re talking about possibly Greece or possibly Jordan, the Rock City of Petra or possibly Egypt and we’d like to get you to put on that.
So if you’d let us know, we’ll be glad to listen and pay attention to that and make our decision accordingly. So we’d love to have you go. And by the way, we have felt perfectly safe. We haven’t seen anything. It would give us any reason to believe that we were in harm’s way. And that’s exciting, all by itself. And so we’ve had beautiful weather. We’ve had a beautiful hotel, wonderful meals, a great air-conditioned bus to ride around in. And we have just had everything work well in the city.
Well, then our favor for this trip. So give us a call and let us know. And if you have any questions, you can call and leave them. Welcome to Bibleline’s List of Support. We don’t have any other means of support. God has raised up people just like you who listen to Bibleline and say I would like to see that that would continue and they give their gift to Bibleline to keep us on the air. You can do that by credit card or call in and ask for an envelope to be sent and we’ll be happy to have you do that.
We’re going to do part two. Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Alright, we’re back from that break and this is Bibleline. It’s great to be with you as we are here in Israel. That’s right. We’re on the Sea of Galilee right now. We’re broadcasting this program from Israel. Israel and we’re on the Sea of Galilee which is below sea level.
So that’s kind of scary, isn’t it? Here we are bringing the program to you and we’re about 700 feet below sea level. And that’s an interesting phenomenon, the Dead Sea Valley which in the Jordan Valley are all below sea level and when you get down to the Dead Sea it’s about 1,300 feet below sea level. Here we are at a depth of 700 feet below sea level. Yet we’re above the Sea of Galilee, of course, here in our hotel, bringing this program to you.
Give us a call. We’d love to hear from you. You can call us and leave your question. And we’ll be glad to answer that here in Israel. And so you can call in right now and leave that question with our operator. And we’ll get it, and we’ll try to answer it if we can. We’ve got a lot of all sorts of questions, We’ll try to answer as many as we can. We went this afternoon to Armageddon, and that is a real place.
It’s actually the hill of Megiddo. Now, Megiddo was a city that has been destroyed 20-something times, and each time it’s destroyed, they built back on top of the ruins of the previous city, you the city and so it becomes a high hill. In Hebrew, har means hill or mountain and Megiddo, the name of the town, with har in front of it, the H is not pronounced in English, and so we say instead of har Megiddo, it is armagiddo and we usually say armageddon.
By the way, the word armageddon only occurs once in your Bible and is in Revelation in chapter 16. And here it says this, and I’ll read it to you. It says in chapter 16 of the book of Revelation in verse 16, 16, 16. It’s easy to remember that way. It says, and he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue R. McGannan. And so that is where we visited today. And by the way, the Bible says that this battle that will take place here will be worldwide will take one third of all the lives of the people on all the planet earth and they’ll all be killed and it’ll all be over in just one hour.
Now a lot of people say how can a war be over in one hour that’s worldwide and the answer is it will be a nuclear exchange. You know Russia can hit the events in 30 minutes and And we can hit Russia in 30 minutes and so on. And Russia can hit Europe in 10 minutes. And so when missiles are unleashed, it doesn’t take long for them to do their damage. And the Bible teaches that apparently there will be a nuclear exchange that will take out one third of the world’s population.
I know we were all shocked when we saw what happened with the Twin Towers in New York City. there about 3,500 people died and what a tragic event that was for our country. But 3,500 is nothing compared to 2 billion people. Apparently that will be taken out in one hour as the Battle of Armageddon. Isn’t that amazing? 2 billion. Not anything like 3,500. 2 billion people will die. a third of the world’s population, the Bible says, will be destroyed.
And it’s interesting that we believe that we’re getting closer and closer to that event. It will not happen, you don’t have to panic now, hold on relax, take a deep breath because it’s not going to happen today or tomorrow. But it will happen after the Rapture at the end of the Tribulation period, which means if the Rapture happened today, it would be seven years from now. So you’ve got at least seven years before this battle to take place. But if you are thinking, you might realize this is coming up pretty fast on us, perhaps, and we need to get all of our family and loved ones saved because you wouldn’t want anybody to be left behind and have them living during these times that the Bible describes, which will culminate in the Battle of Armageddon and the third of all the people on the earth
being killed. Revelation here tells us something quite fascinating here in verse 12 of Revelation chapter 16. It says, on the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates. And the water thereof was dried up that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. You might say, what in the world does the river Euphrates have to do with all this? Well, espie will drive and that river runs down from Turkey through Syria through Iraq out in the Persian Gulf.
Almost 700 miles, 600 or something miles through Iraq. And if you run your finger from China, we will, the kings of the east will be China and other nations associated with her. In China if you march your finger from China to Jerusalem, guess what? it’ll go right through the Euphrates River. So that river, the Bible tells us here’s a clue as to when it says, when that river is dried up, then the way the kings of the east is prepared and they will bring their troops into the Middle East.
That is absolutely interesting information, especially since we know today that that river has been shut down before. In 1991, We know that Turkey had completed a dam project on the Euphrates River at its source. And when they were ready to fill up the reservoirs behind it, it’s similar to the Azoan Project. And we find that when they needed to do that, they shut off the water for about one whole month. month and it caused quite a stir throughout the world because they didn’t let the water flow.
And so that was done by a push of a button, somewhat like a great big bathtub plug, concrete plug, plug off the river and the river was set down. So we know it can be shut down by political decisions. This river has been flowing happily now for about 6,000 years. You can read about the Euphrates River in Genesis chapter 2. how far back you can go. And here we find the Bible talking about it being shut off and we know that the potential for it to be shut off is there and real because it’s already been shut off for a month back in 1991.
So here it says when it’s shut up or when it dries up it says the way it’s prepared for the kings of these to come into the Middle And by the way, it tells us in chapter 9 of the book Revelation that the Chinese army would number 200 million. If you want to do something interesting, China has a population of 1.2 billion people. And if you go to the CI Factbook on your internet, you pull up China and armies and it will say that and it will say that China concealed an army of 200 million.
The very number that the book of Revelation mentions, and it doesn’t miss it by five or ten. It doesn’t say 205 million or 195, but it says 200 million people, soldiers in the army, that will come from China. That’s telling us, I think, that we don’t have a whole lot of time, that actually the numbers are matching up now. When the book of Revelation was written, there weren’t 200 million people on the planet. If you added up every man, woman, and child, and their dog or cat, you would not have come up with 200 million.
But the population of the world has all of a sudden begin the sky rocket and we find that today He shows us that what a part of nature has in the United States is a bit over time when Russia has the army of 200 million. Apparently they’re marching into the Middle East and that tells us that we’re getting close to the Lord’s return. So here you have a very fascinating passage in Revelation chapter 16 that describes one of the signs that will let you know that we’re close.
That is the drying up of the river Euphrates and then rule and reign on this earth when he defeats the armies of the world that come together at Armageddon. So that was a fascinating place today. We sure enjoyed that and our whole group was, I think, thrilled again to see the view from the top of it, but also to know the spiritual information about this city that is a real place. I believe in this mind you that the Antichrist will strike here in Israel and the Valley of Jezreal which Megiddo is about midway there and overlooks the valley and it will be a first strike just like Pearl Harbor set off World War II.
So will this first strike in Israel at Armageddon trigger off the Battle of Armageddon? Why? Because when the Antichrist comes to power, he will come out of the West and the West will wind up controlling the Middle East. And the Antichrist will set up his palace to rule the Western world from Jerusalem. And we find that the nations of Russia and China will say we’ve got to stop him because these got control of the old and the Middle East, and he’s becoming more power hungry and will eventually control all of us if we don’t do something.
So Russia will attack Israel to knock the Antichrist out of power and destroy his weapons which are stored in the valley of Israel there at Armageddon. So once that happens, when Russia sends a missile in to Armageddon, the Western leader, the Antichrist, will push the buttons and Russia will be destroyed by nuclear fire. And of course, Russia will shoot missiles at the United States and Europe and China will be involved and apparently two billion people will die. Two billion.
That’s right two billion people will die if this battle call a battle of arm again Well, thank you Very much for tuning in the Bible. I’m today. I’m Dr. Inkland’s chairman. We’re coming to you live from Israel We’re writing out our hotel on the edge of the Sea of Galilee. We are having a wonderful time a safe time we haven’t seen anything that would make us afraid and We are Excited that we can bring this radio broadcast to you from here in Israel We’re going to be traveling south and go to Jerusalem and the Dead Sea and see many other things in the state of Israel So we hope you’ll listen all of next week as well to catch these reports from Israel while we’re here Enjoying Seeing these sites ourselves and kind of sharing them with you on the radio If you have any questions you’d like to submit to as you can call that 800 number and let
us know 1-800-576-3771. 1-800-576-3771. We’re going to try to take a couple of questions here and we have Holly in Northville, New York. And she said, you said women are not to teach. Does that include in Sunday school? How does this match up with the information in Titus 2 3? Well, the Bible says that if you look at 1 Timothy, chapter 2 and verse 11, it says, I suffer not a woman to teach or do you serve authority over the man but to be in silence.
So women are not to teach the Bible, but yet women are allowed to teach according to Titus 2.3, but they’re to teach the older women should teach the younger women. And here is what they are to teach, not Bible studies, not teaching the word of God, but to be teaching basically things that younger women ought to know. I’m going to turn her right now and in Titus chapter 2 it says here that the aged women verse 3 of chapter 2 of Titus it says the aged women likewise that they be in behaviors become a holiness and Not false accusers, not given to much one, but teachers of good things.
So we’re here with Begin the List, teachers of good things. Number four, that they may teach the young women to be sober. That they might teach the young women to love their husbands. That they might teach the young women to love their children. That they might teach the young women to be discreet. that they might teach the young women to be chased, that they might teach the young women to be keepers at home, that they might teach the young women to be good, that they might teach them to be obedient to their own husbands and so on.
So here’s the list, but you don’t find anything there in that list about teaching the Bible. So that is one area that they are not authorized to teach. Now I believe under the male leadership of the church they can be given permission maybe to teach in Sunday school or some other place but otherwise no they are not allowed to teach the word of God at all. I think ideally it would be great to have a husband, wife, team teaching and that way it would fall within the rules of the Bible.
Now I’m going to go to a car called Yvette in Flint, Michigan. And she says, are you familiar with Herbert Armstrong or his teaching? And please comment on his teaching. Well guess what? I certainly do know who this man is. And he has started a cult which of course he’s now dead called the worldwide church of God and this particular organization doesn’t believe in hell. They don’t, they’re almost like the Joe’s witnesses and almost like the Seventh-day Adventist because they stole information from both of those and also another cult called British Israelism and definitely want to stay away from this group.
Herbert W. Armstrong is not dead, he’s not dead and And obviously he knows there is no teaching like his teaching in reality. He’s now experiencing hell that he said did not exist. So that’s interesting by itself. Thank you for that call. And by the way, today also we conclude our trip by going to the Jordan River where it exits the Sea of Galilee and it flows south down to the N.C. and there we performed a baptism and we had 12 people that we immersed in the waters of the Jordan River and it was exciting.
It was cold but nobody stayed out of the water because of the coldness. They kind of shivered as they went in, but you know, they were glad and were pleased that they did it when they came out. One lady told me that she just had this warm feeling once she came out of the water and she was excited about how the cold didn’t really affect her like she thought it would. But we had a good time and the twelve of all were rejoicing.
It almost reminds me of Acts chapter 8 where Philip baptized the Ethiopian Union. And after they came out of the water, it says they went on their way rejoicing. And I think everybody today really was blessed by that baptism and several told me that it just left me with a happy feeling, a happy experience it was. They all got certificates and we signed them and so they’ll remember this Ephesum I think for a long long time if you have not been water baptized Then you ought to be as a testimony of how your cleanse of your sin by the blood of Christ certainly water Will not wash away your sin water Can’t wash away your sin only the blood of Christ can revelation one five says unto him that loved us That’s Jesus who watched this from our sins in his own blood.
So only the blood of Christ could wash away our sins. And if you’ve not been water baptized, you ought to as a testimony of the fact that you’re saved in a bit of a sense of your sin. So let us know. If you’re going to go on a trip next year, you can let us know and we’ll make sure you get on the list to be baptized and wouldn’t that be great to be baptized in the Jordan River? And if you’re in my area or coming to my area, we’ll be happy to include you in a baptism when you’re in our area.
We’ll be glad to baptize you if you aren’t going to be waiting to do that in Israel. We just had a wonderful time and I hope that you are enjoying getting a little bit in the trip with us by hearing the radio broadcasts. We’ll be doing that now for another full week, not only on Friday of this week, but Monday to Zwend Zn3Z next week. By the way, you can catch my worship service from the church by going to the internet and clicking on the home page on the camera.
You will be able to connect right to the site. We have an anonymous call from Tampa, Florida that called in just today and says, can Christians have demons in them, and the answer is no. The answer is no. I like 1 John 4, 4. It says, greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. So he in you is the Holy Spirit, and no demon would like to dwell in the same body with God the Holy Spirit.
In fact it says in this wonderful chapter you have overcome the spirits and we’ve all right. And so as a believer we have the Holy Spirit living in us and greater is the Holy Spirit than the demons that are in this world. They certainly don’t want to be in the same body. So hope that answers your question. Thank you. That’s not going to happen. We have also here this color from Tampa named Tom. Or will we be able to see Earth once raptured?
I don’t believe we’re going to see it at all and tell the second coming, seven years after the rapture. And then we’re going to come back and rule and reign with Christ. So yes, we will see the Earth when we come back at the end of the tribulation period. So, once you go to be with the Lord, you will not see anything that is happening here on this earth, but you will be able to see it during the millennium when you come back to rule and reign with Christ.
Tampa, James calls in from Tampa and leaves this offer a question. If someone is the liquid and the Lord takes them off the earth and takes them to heaven, How is that punishment? I think you’re talking to James about or we’re taking people home early if they are not going to respond to God’s discipline and Obviously God is merciful in those cases so that you don’t have to stay here longer and Give an account for those days that you’re not serving the Lord.
So James is true that God does take believers home to have an early and it is really an act of mercy on his part and it’s really God protecting them I think against years and years maybe of not living for Christ and having to give an account for that. So thank you James for calling in and our others callers that have called in today. I want to say to all of you that we hope you’ll go to church someplace this weekend.
If you don’t have a church home, you can come by and see us and worship in person or you can visit our worship service on the website. But also don’t forget we’re still in Israel and we’ll be broadcasting the radio shows from here and I hope you’ll listen every day, money through Friday of of next week while you’re listening. So I hope that that will be on your calendar to watch our worship service on Sunday on the Internet and then catch our radio problems all next week which will all be from Israel.

And we’ve had some great times together here as a group. And as we said today was a busy day.
busy day winding up with a baptism at the very end of the day in the Jordan River. We’ve baptized 12 people by a mercy this afternoon and they’re all bright item bushy tail and really excited about the experience that they’ve had. We’re going to say goodbye and then we’ll come back and be with you again tomorrow and I hope you will tell your friends about the program will be back on Monday live, but in the Tampa Bay area we’re on every day of the week Monday through Monday or Tuesday through Tuesday or Wednesday through Wednesday.

It also catches all of next week as we enter into the month of March and bring you these shows from Israel. Right now we are in Galilee. We are staying right here on the edge of the Sea of Galilee and we have had a great time touring everything from the northernmost border of Israel right up against Lebanon, up against Syria. We’ve seen the borders of Syria and Lebanon. Today we saw the border of Jordan and we see how close these countries are to Israel and we’ve explored all of the Galilee and seen some marvelous things and we wound up our day-to-day baptizing 12 people in the Jordan River.
Great experience. Everybody that got baptized was really I think blessed and were on a spiritual high which I don’t blame them and it was fun. We hope that you’ll give us your contact information if you’re interested in going to Israel because we’d love to have you go with us and as we make our plans we’ll be able to include you. I’d like to find out what time of year would you like to go. I’d like to find out where would you like to go in addition to Israel.
I’d like to know a few other things about what would influence you more. What countries maybe we might add to the trip and maybe you’d like to go to Greece or maybe you’d like to go to Petra in Jordan or maybe you’d like to go to Egypt or maybe you’d have to go to two out of three. We’ll try to see what we can do and put so let us know what you might like to do in the way of a trip to Israel.
