Now here’s the host of Bibleline, Dr. Hank Lindstrom. We look forward to being with you each and every day, Monday to Friday, and we’re coming to you from Jerusalem, from Israel. And we’ve been here now. This is our second week, and we are letting you in on the trip by sharing with you our experiences. And I hope you’ll follow along all of these programs throughout this week. This weekend this Sunday I’ll be back and I invite you to come by if you are in the area in driving distance but if not you can get our website by volaidministries.org.

Click on the camera at 11 o’clock in the morning and you’ll catch our worship service live and you’ll get somewhat of a recap of some of the things that we did on the trip and you’re invited to join our worship service by way of internet. If you don’t catch it Sunday morning live, it will go into archive and you can watch it and listen to it as often as you want probably for the next year because we have a year’s worth of radio programs sitting there waiting and television programs and our worship service is sitting there waiting for you to watch so you can go back and in the archives and catch all of this.

We are in Jerusalem. We’ve had a great time. The weather today was spectacular and really a great time to visit Israel is in the spring. Things are turning green and the temperatures are just right in the summer. It can be very, very hot in the fall. It can be kind of brown and things have died and we have the seasons here in Israel and in the winter it rains most of the time and it’s cold. So I think the spring is really the best time to go.

It’s up to you to go on the next trip. You can call. It’s your name on the list. We’ll talk to you as we work our way through the plans for the next trip we’ll go on. Hopefully you’ll tell us what time of year would be best for you to go. Where you might like to go in addition to Israel as we might go to Egypt or Petra in southern Jordan or Greece. We want to hear your input and that will certainly be considered as we make our plans.

In any case, we’re coming to you from Jerusalem. This is Bibleline, and we are excited about being with you today. We’ve had one more country added to our list of people or countries that have found our website, and that is Bahrain, and that is a Muslim country, and that brings our count up to 155 countries that are logged on to Bibleline. We had last month, we have that seven minute video at the beginning of our website. When you go there, you can skip it and go beyond it if you’ve seen it before.

But we had 14,500 people look at that seven minute video just last month. We have an average of about 50 people a day that take the MI going to Heaven quiz at the beginning. And so we’re just really tickled to death with that. They fail it. They come back and they take it again and pass it. And so you can see those numbers reflected on the count when you go to our website. There’s a lot on our website that maybe you’ve never even experienced or looked at.

Please give it a try. That’s BibleLineMinistries.org and we hope that you’ll check that out. Catch our radio programs live in an archive. Catch our television programs live in an archive. And also our worship services live in an archive and we have a year’s worth of sermon sitting there for you. These programs this week through Friday will be from Israel and I hope you’ll listen every day and tell your friends to tune in to catch kind of an update with us.

Although I don’t know what you’re reading in the States, we feel perfectly safe and we don’t have any indication that anything is going on. Except as we watch the news we hear some of the things about what’s happening in God’s but otherwise it seems to be just a very peaceful place to be over here in Anything. We are going to take a few minutes now to talk about some of the things we did today. We went to the whaling wall and a lot of people ask what is the whaling wall.

Well, the Wailing Wall is the western retention wall around the Temple Mount area, the place where the ancient Jewish temple once stood. And on the west, you have just a portion of the wall exposed, and that is what is the present-day Wailing Wall. Actually, the wall goes down another 80 feet below the street level of today, and today we went down And we walked along the base of that wall all the way to the north in of the temple mount platform It was an exciting day And of course the winning wall is the only remnants left of the second temple and of the first temple Because when the Romans destroyed the temple in 80 70 they destroyed the City Jerusalem and the temple and pushed all the stones off the temple mount platform into the valley below and that valley level therefore is raised up quite a

number of feet. It’s pretty much filled in and some of those stones you can see them as they lie today just as they fell 2,000 years ago. In any case many of the stones that you look at have a kind of an edge or a framing around the stone that goes all the way around and that’s the mark of Herod’s architects. So you can tell those were the time of Herod. Then when we went down below, we actually saw the stones from the time of King Solomon.

So this is a very special place where the Israelis feel connected to God because their temple is gone, it’s destroyed, but they still have the retaining wall on the West that they They can trace the age of the stones back to Solomon and Herod. If you look at the wedding wall rather closely, you can see many of the stones at the visible level today have this frame around each stone that makes it clear that it’s from Solomon’s time. There is a website and you can go there and look at the wedding wall day and night.

There’s a clock there and there are people that come to that wall 24 7 Many times I’ve just clicked on it to check it out and you can see people there at three or four in the morning Over here in Israel, which of course is still daylight in America But it’s well lighted day and night people coming old hours of the day and night. I remember I had it on one day and I heard a child crying and I looked all around and the child was crying in the little stroller that the mom was strolling her child in right here from the Whalewall in Israel.

So I mean you get the sound effects as well as the actual pictures of the wall and it’s kind of interesting to just tune that in. If you want to get that website, you can call our 800 number and ask for that web address. It’s kind of interesting. They also have a feature on it, of course, that will be for a charge, but you can actually type up a message and ask them to post it in the whaling wall, and it will be printed out through the computer on a piece of paper in Israel.

and you can actually watch a runner run up to the wall and fold it up and stuff it in the wall. So if you wanted to put a note in the wall, which the Jewish people do, to leave a prayer or message to God, it can be done from the states by way of the website. Kind of interesting. There used to be a camera on the eastern wall as well, and I always thought that was kind of interesting to watch too, too, because there you could see the Golden Gate, the Eastern Gate, into the Temple Mount area, which is walled up.

And I think we mentioned that the other day that the prophecy is in Ezekiel chapter 44, but that wall would be sealed up because the Lord God of Israel had entered in by it. That’s Jesus. He went in and out of that gate many times, but that it wouldn’t be opened up again until his second coming when Jesus will open the gate. And so this particular website said that you might want to be watching in case Jesus comes and goes through the gate.

The theology would be wrong because if you’re a believer today, you’d be taken out of the rapture and you’d have to be left behind for the tribulation period to be there to see him come back to the gate which would happen seven years after the rapture. But anyway, it was fun to be able to look at the western wall, which is where the whaling and the Eastern Wall, which is where the The Bibleline is sealed up where Christ will come back and go through that gate.

Of course, there’s no temple up above, but it’s interesting that they believe they know exactly where the temple used to stand. And from above, I think it’s easy to discover that we were up on top and we could line up our eyes with the Eastern Gate in the temple. It was directly in line to the west of that. And so we probably walked today or yesterday on the Temple Mount site where the Holy of Holies was and where the temple stood and where the new temple, the third temple, will be built.

But down below in the tunnel along the wall they have a place where they feel like it’s directly on the other side of that wall, directly straight ahead and of course above where the the Holy of Always would be. So that’s a special place where Jewish people also come to pray if they come into the tunnel area. In any case, the Whaling Wall is called the Whaling Wall for a number of reasons. The wall sometimes do condenses on the wall and drips down the wall and they’ve said that it is sweeping for the Jewish people who have been scattered and have not been able to have access to their Temple Mount.

So it is a place where the wall seems to weep and it seems to cry for the Jewish people as they have been scattered around the world ever since 8070 and now they are coming back with a dream and a vision to rebuild a temple and see the Messiah come, we believe for the second time, but the Jewish people are saying for the first time. But we believe that Jesus Christ has been here once and is coming again, that He is the Messiah of Israel and that He is the one that will open that Eastern Gate and come into the temple area.

You know when Andrew let his brother Peter to Christ, what did he say in John’s gospel Chapter 1 well, he says to Peter he says you first find that his own brother Simon and Sayeth unto him we have found the Messiah Which being interpreted as the Christ and he brought him to Jesus That’s John chapter 1 verse 41. We find that clearly they recognize that Jesus was the Messiah and Andrew Simon Peter’s brother first thing on his agenda once he got saved was to find his brother and lead him to Christ and you know that’s the way it ought to be.

Every believer really ought to be concerned about their brothers and sisters their moms and dads and grandfathers and grandmothers and nephews and nieces and cousins and in all the family to make sure that they know how to have eternal life through trusting Jesus Christ as Savior. In any case, the Jewish people will come to the wedding wall, which they couldn’t do for 2,000 years. In 1967, in the Six Day War that began on June 5th of the year 1967, the Jews defeated their enemies that had come against them in just six days.

It was called the Six-Day War. And for the first time in 2000 years, the Jewish people finally had access to that Western retaining wall. And of course, they immediately, without much hesitation, plowed that whole area with bulldozers and made it a big plaza where Jewish people from all over the world could come to this place and pray to God. Of course we know that the wall is simply the retaining wall. The place where God would meet with man was on the top of the Temple Mount platform and that’s where the temple was and that’s where the glory of God would fill the temple.

Just as God appeared in the tapernacle in the wilderness, God later then would show His presence at the temple in Jerusalem. Obviously, there is no temple today, but there is that dream that the temple will be built soon. One of the things we saw today was the Temple Mount Institute, where they have a collection of different instruments that will be used in the Third Temple. They are getting them ready because they are talking seriously about building a Third Temple, and they’re just waiting for the opportunity to do that.

But we saw many, many different instruments for the washing of the hands and the catching of the blood and the slaying of the animals and sacrifice, and so on and so on, including the menorah. He’s about two meters high. That’s pretty big. It’s about six feet tall, a menorah that will go inside that third temple. So everything is being readied, the garments of the priesthood, and all the other elements that are necessary for worship. And so we’re living in a most exciting time.

We believe that tells us we’re close because the Jewish interest in rebuilding that third temple, And they’re looking for a Messiah to come, tells us He’s coming soon. They’re back in the land in anticipation of that. This is Bible item, Dr. Inchon. We’re coming to you from Jerusalem, from our hotel. And we have a very beautiful hotel, very close to the old city, very close to Calvary, and very close to the Temple Mount and the Whaling Wall and all the things that are happening or not too far away within walking distance really.

And so we had a lot of fun at the wedding wall today. The men have to go to the wall or worship separately from the women and there’s a dividing curtain or wall. It’s just a partition really, but the women go down on the right side, the men go down on the left side. And we saw on the men’s side little boys with their dads and grandads and families. And there are people that go there day and night, plus we who come that are Gentiles, could approach the wall.

And you can see it just crammed full of little pieces of paper where people have left a prayer. And the teeniest little cracks, I couldn’t believe that they could squeeze a piece of paper in them, but we saw just thousands and thousands. They tell us that at least once a year or whenever it really gets filled, that they take them and remove them and they put them in a special container and they bury them with reverence because they believe that these are not just scraps of paper, but they are really the heartfelt prayers of people and I know some in our group were given pieces of paper with prayers to be placed in the wall because they couldn’t go to Jerusalem but knew that we could carry their message here to the wedding wall.

Now of course as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ we know we can go directly to God and we don’t have to go to a wall. We don’t have to write our prayer out on a piece of paper but we can call directly upon the Bible says it in Jeremiah, call unto me, and I will answer you to say, if the Lord knows who you are great and mighty things which thou knowest not. And of course we know that there is only one mediator in prayer, and that is Jesus.

In 1 Timothy 2, 5 it says there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. By the way, Mary is not a mediator. There is only one and that is Jesus and it’s not a priest, it’s not Mary, it’s not anybody else, but you can go directly to God the Father through Jesus Christ who is the Mediator and every believer has direct access to the very throne of God. That’s exciting. By the way, if you pray to…

It’s not Mary appros not anybody else, but you canVERTISEMENT directly to Goddinand to God. prayed as a death. And Mary would fall in that category along with everybody else who died. She was a wonderful, godly woman, no doubt about it. And certainly we don’t want to take away from Mary’s role to bring about the Messiah, to be the mother of the flesh that God would take upon himself, but she cannot hear your prayers nor can she answer them. She’s in the category of all those that have lived that have died and we have only one One mediator between God and men, and that’s Jesus.

That verse, by the way, is 1 Timothy 2 5. I hope you’ll look it up and make a note of it. What is interesting, though, if you wanted to get a message to Mary, I think you could do that, but you have to go through Jesus. So if you wanted to say, Jesus, I would like to have you deliver a message to Mary. how much I really respect her dedication and her love for you and her willingness to accept your will to be the mother of the Messiah and so on and so on and so on and I believe Jesus will deliver that message to her but if you try to pray to Mary to get a message of Jesus it’s not going to go through so I would say you are wasting your time if you do that and according to scripture It’s forbidden to try to contact the dead

Isaiah chapter 8 makes that very clear and there are other verses as well That you don’t want to try to violate scripture again This is Bible and we’re in Jerusalem We’re having a great time. I’d love to have you go in the next trip If you’ll only call you can get your name on the list then you could have some input you can tell us When you would like to go, maybe you could tell us what other countries you might want to visit in addition to Israel as we were thinking about adding another country or two.

And if you just get us your input, we’ll kind of touch base with you as we make our plans and you can actually influence what we do when we go on the next trip. If you’ve been worried about safety, you can ask everyone in our group. They feel very safe here. Everybody gets a good night’s rest and not worried about being blown up or bombed or anything else. I think you’ll find the same thing will be true for you.

This is trip number 15 for me and I’ve never experienced on any of my trips any fear of being shot or blown up or anything else. We’d love to have you go and I hope you will call 1-800-576-3771. By the way, I’ll be home this weekend, the second Sunday in March. And I’d love to have you come as we’ll be talking about the trip and you’re welcome to attend. If you are in another city, you can’t come. You can go to the internet.

If you click on the camera at 11 a.m., you’ll catch the video and the audio and you’ll actually be right there with us in our worship service. But if you have your own church and that’s not convenient you can go into the archives After that Sunday morning is over and usually a few hours after we finish the webcast Goes the dark I’ve and then you could watch it as much as you want for the next year and If you want to go back and hear the radio programs you can kind of follow the trip with us and kind of get this summary of what we’re doing every day by hearing all of the programs while we’ve been on this trip.

So check that out at BibleLineMinistries.org. Click on the spinning globe for radio, click on the TV set for television programs, click on the camera for the worship services, and there’s much much more on the website. Take advantage, if you will. In any case, we went down below low the present street level to the very base of the whaling wall which really most of it I guess probably 80 to 90 percent of the wall is not seen it is covered and so we were able to go to the base and it comes out all the way to the north of the Temple Mount platform.

That platform is 35 acres. So we’re going along the West now toward the North and guess where it empties out. It comes out at the fortress of Antonio and that is of course where Pilate hung out and this is of course the path that Jesus took on his way to be pronounced guilty and to be crucified and he came from Tiafus’ house and he walked along this very route that we took because 2000 years ago all that valley was not buried as it was after the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem in 7 AD and so we were walking on some of those very stones that Jesus probably walked to in those final hours that he was here on this earth while he was alive.

Again, I want to say hi to Miami. Miami signs off the four other areas, and so glad to have you all listening in South Florida, mostly from West Palm down the marathon and the keys. And I hope that you’ll pray for us and pray that we can get on a full hour down in Miami. We do need your financial support, not only to stay on the air for this half hour, but also to get that second half hour that requires help.

and give a gift by credit card over the phone and help Bible and help the Bible and if you would. We’re now back to our other stations that are still listening right now as we will be coming up on our break in just a moment. But we’re having fun in Israel. We’re in our hotel right now in Jerusalem and bringing this program to you. It’s amazing how we can speak here and you can hear us there on the station that you that you listen to the Bible and on.

And we’re very excited about that. We hope that you’ll tell your friends about these programs. Tell them how they can go to the internet and catch really all the programs that cover and discuss our trip and also that they can go Sunday morning and catch the worship service when I’m back in the pulpit and we’ll be sharing will tell your friends about these programs. By the way, if you do come the second 70, if you are in driving distance, we will have the Lord’s Supper at 945 over 1015.

And then the worship service begins at 10.30. The next Sunday or the third Sunday of the month will have that third Sunday dinner we have every year, every month rather. And you can come for the 10.30 service, bring your family, bring your Bible, bring your appetite, and stay for the 10.30 service and then stay also for the lunch dinner, some great cooking and fellowship afterward. We’re going to have to go to break. And so I hope you will stay tuned for the second half hour.

If your station doesn’t carry it, you can go to the internet and hear it streamed to the internet 24-7 and you can catch it live. Again, Bibleline is listed as supported and we don’t have any other means of support than you are listeners. And if you want to help us, this would be a great time to do that. Call and give a gift, would you, on your credit card or call and ask for an envelope to be sent with our address and mail your gift in.

And pray for Bibleline, and I hope you’ll be a partner to help us stay on here and expand these programs across the world. We’re now going to go to Great State, too. Don’t go away, Bibleline. We’ll be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. All right, I’m not going to go to the classroom, and it’s great to be with you, and we want want to thank you for tuning in to Bible and we have been in Jerusalem and up and before that up in the Galilee area and we have had a wonderful trip and we’re glad that we’re able to be able to share this trip with you by way of our radio and I hope you’ll tune in for the rest of this week as these programs through Friday will be coming to you from Israel.

So if you can, try to catch every program. If you missed any, go to the internet and go to our website, BibleInindustries.org. Click on the spinning globe. You’ll be able to catch all the programs and listen to them as often as you like. Also, this Sunday, I’ll be back home and in the pulpit, we’ll webcast our worship service and you can catch that if you click on the camera on the homepage at 11 o’clock. you’ll catch the video and audio as we will be talking about the trip.

We welcome you to come by way of internet. And if you live in driving distance, of course you’re welcome to come and actually join our service. We have a lot of things in our resource center. We haven’t been talking about much, but we do have the teaching on first Peter that we just finished, 10 hours of teaching that’s available on CD and DVD. I think you’ll find that a wonderful, wonderful study. When we get back, we’ll be teaching and we’ll announce the start date, Second Peter, which is really quite an amazing book.

And we’ll be giving ten hours of attention to that book of Second Peter that’ll finish up the series on first and second Peter. Just before this series, we did John. We did twenty hours of teaching on John. a wonderful series and a lot of people have enjoyed it and are enjoying it and we invite you to also call and order that CD set of John or the DVD set of John which is the video as well and we can chip that right out to you.

Plus we have that old school filled Bible and I tell you I can’t recommend it highly enough. It is incredible and will really help you to be doctrinally sound if you use the notes in the old Scofield Bible. Make sure you get the old, which is the 1909 and 1917 edition. Most every Christian bookstore is selling the wrong one. So if you can, call us. We have the old Scofield, and that’s the only one that we make available at Bible on it.

We’re excited about the trip that we’re on. We hope you’ll go on the next trip. Call us and get your name on the list. I think know that you want to go and don’t forget to tune in all the programs this week where we’ll be talking about our Israel trip. Right now we’re going to rejoin the stations that have been on break through the second half hour of Bibleline. So keep your radio dial tuned right where it is. When you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr.

Lynch from a question, you can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Now here Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Alright, we’re back from that break and this is Bible and it’s exciting to be with you as we are. Now broadcasting to you from Jerusalem from our hotel, we’re right downtown Jerusalem, just a couple of blocks away from the old city where so many of the biblical events took place. The pools of Asaza that you read about in John chapter 5 were Christ healed the man that was is impotent from birth for 38 years.

We find in John 9 the pool of Psalm where Jesus healed the man that was blind from birth. And so many other New Testament stories that took place right there within the old city. And of course today we were at the Wellington Wall, the Western retention wall around the ancient temple mount. And we believe the third temple is ready to go. From every indication, we saw today at the Temple Institute many items that were to be used or will be used for the Third Temple once it’s built.

And I don’t think it will take long. Gershahn Solomon, who has been cutting the stones since 1967, said that it could be erected in 48 hours. It’s a very simple structure and all they have to do is lay the stones one upon another and all they have to do is get them up to the temple mount, get a crane and just set them down in place and they’ll be underway. And so we’re excited about all of these things which indicate to us that we’re close.

Plus, look at the world today, turning against Israel. My goodness, does anybody like Israel anymore? Well, the Bible says in Matthew 24, Jesus said that Israel would be hated above all nations for my name’s sake. And very clearly, the Bible predicts exactly what’s happening today with Israel, the land being parted and divided and, wow, we were in Bethlehem, which is no longer in Israeli city. It is under the Palestinian Authority. And we got in and we got out and then the Gaza thing erupted and now Bethlehem is shut down tight as a I guess a safety deposit box in the bank and nobody is going in and out.

It’s shut down because of the things that are happening down in the Gaza. So we were very fortunate there that we got in and out when we did. we got a chance to see the traditional birth site of Jesus in Bethlehem and we are glad that we got to because we’ve talked to groups since then that were scheduled to go and are not able to go now because they were closed out because it’s no longer a city under Israeli control.

But in case we’ve had a safe trip, we’ve had a wonderful trip and we’ve had good weather and good meals, good hotels, and a great bus, and a great guide, and great driver. And we have just seen an awful lot, and we have a long way to go, a little bit of time we have left before we fly back to the States. Pray for us, and pray that we would have a safe return. And this Sunday I’ll be back in my pulpit.

We’ll be covering a summary of some of the things that we’ve seen. invite you to come if you’re driving distance or you can go to the internet and see it on the webcast. If you do it at 11 o’clock on Sunday morning, click on the camera. You’ll get the live webcast of our service and you’ll be able to be as though you were there sitting there in the sanctuary with us in Tampa, Florida. If you ever get a chance to drop in from a honest from wherever you might live, That would be wonderful.

We’d love to have you do that. Also, definitely want you to know that we have a lot of resources that would really be helpful to you in our Resource Center. Some of the books that we have now, one of them is a favorite of mine called Things to Come by Dwight Pentecost. Great author, and that is a classic. If you really want to get your head straight on prophetic issues, that’s one of the best books I believe has been written on the topic.

And we have about eight other books now that we’ve added to our resource center by Dwight Pentecost. They’re all very, very good. We’ve also got some other books that are exciting as well. Books by Clarence Larkin, he wrote about a hundred years ago. And his book on dispensational truth really will open your eyes to everything in the scriptures chronologically and dispensationally and be able to let you get a visual with the charts and the chapters that explain them. 160 charts.

In this book that really just give you a picture, Outline’s Revelation by Chart, Daniel by Chart, a whole chart just on the seven years of tribulation. And in the book of Ezekiel, Outline, Genesis, Outline, and so on, many, many books that have just a chart that really lays it out and makes it very simple. and one of my favorite books, I remember when I first got it shortly after I was saved, I couldn’t put it down, I read all night, I found myself in sleep with my head on my arms folded about six in the morning, I think I just read to like, crashed and I crashed on top of the book and it’s still my favorite.

It’s a wonderful, wonderful book, that’s in our Resource Center along with a book, a revelation book of Daniel, book on rightly divided in order to truth, the book on the spirit world, the book on the second coming, all by Clarence Larkin, plus tons more. Call and get our resource sheet to be sent to you or go online and go to our online bookstore and you’ll find everything there that you can order directly off the internet. Well we’re in Jerusalem and we’re having fun and today we got to do a lot of walking in the old city.

And we saw a lot the shops that were open today that were closed in protest, protest of solidarity with the people in Gaza and the Arab section. And so we walked through the streets with no traffic because the shops were all closed. But today they were open and we saw the shopkeepers and all their wares and the excitement of walking through the narrow streets and having all the people coming out trying to cook you into their shop and say you’re there were and it was fun.

But of course we got to see the spiritual things as well. Today when we exited this tunnel that goes from the whaling wall all the way north to the place where Pilate stayed and lived, we came out exactly where the pavement was, Jesus was sentenced that you read about in John chapter 19. Wow, we were right there probably walking on the very stones where Jesus was when Pilate said you can take him in crucified as the mob wanted to see Christ crucified.

And there we were. We We also know that this is where he was scurged. And that was obviously a very painful experience where they would tie a man’s hands above his head, take the whip and bring it across their back. And the whip would have little pieces of rock or glass on the ends and it would just kind of push his back to the river. Many times people never lived beyond that experience. And then he was beaten, he was spit upon, he was despised as the scripture said he would be, and then of course he was taken out to the cross of Calvary, he was given the cross beam of the cross to carry, and obviously he fell several times and another man was compelled to carry that cross beam the rest of the way because Christ was already nearly dead from what he had gone through before the man named

Simon, but that Cyrene was compelled to take the cross the rest of the way. And so we were actually standing, we know from scripture, right, you know, very close to that on the very stones. And you could tell that it was the street of that time because the stones were cut with with the strips to make them rough so the horses wouldn’t slip on the slippery pavement. And this is of course the pavement there where Christ was brought before Pilate and of course the mob cried out crucified and crucified and Pilate finally conceded and allowed them to take him away and crucified.

We believe that that happened on Wednesday of the Crucifixion Week. But they brought him after having been interrogated all night long by so many different people. He went to Kephas, then to Anas, then back to Kephas, then he went to Herod, and then he came back again. And finally, in the morning, the religious leaders brought him before Pilate at 6 a.m. The Bible tells us that Pilate… He said, behold the man and allowed them to take him away to be crucified.

Three hours later, at 9 a.m. in the morning, Christ was nailed to the cross. And at three o’clock in the afternoon, Jesus gave up His Spirit and died as a payment for all of mankind for their sins. And we know that Jesus said on the cross, it is finished, which means the complete and total payment for sin had been made right on the cross. Jesus did not pay for one sin after he came then off the cross. But he was buried for three days and three nights, came back again from the dead, and that is what separates Christ from all other would-be messiahs or true religions, and the founders of all the other world religions are dead then.

is still dead, Muhammad is still dead, Confucius is still dead, and so on and so on. And they cannot help you. But Christ has arrived to make good on all the promises that He made, and because He lives forever, so will we that trust Him as Savior, we will also live forever as He is alive forever more. And He came back on the first day of the week, And the worship now by Christians on the first day of the week was established by Christ himself right from the get-go.

He came back on the first day of the week and showed himself alive. The next major appearance was on the 8th day. That was the first day of the week, the following week. Pentecost, which is when this age began, the church age began, was on a Sunday, exactly 50 days after the resurrection. The resurrection was always on a Sunday. So if you go fifty days from that resurrection you will put you on Sunday again. As you read through the book of Acts when the Christians came together to worship it was always on the first day.

Let me read a passage to you in Acts chapter 20 where here it says that Paul here sailed away from Philippi after the days of Unleavened Bread and came unto them to Troas in five days where we abode seven days. This is Acts 20. Now I’m going to read verse 7. And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them. First day of the week is Sunday. So that’s when the believers came together to worship.

So many people that want to try to get you to come under the Sabbath day as the day of worship. Try to say that the Roman Catholic Church changed the worship day 500 years after Christ was here. That’s not true. The worship day was established right from the beginning and here you have it in Acts 20 in verse 7 upon the first day of the week when the disciples came together to break bread Paul preached unto them ready to depart on the morrow.

And so we find that it’s clear in the scripture that the Christians met on the first day of the week and there are many more references that would support that. But Jesus Christ not only crucified for our sins and shed his blood to make the payment for our sins was buried and 72 hours later comes back from the dead and is alive forever more. Well, if you want to send us a question, you can. You can call the 1-800 number and leave a question and they will send it to us by way of internet and we’ll get it and try to answer it on the air.

Also you can go to the website BibleInindustries.org, click on the Spinning Globe and there’s a page all set up for you to leave your question there and type it in, hit submit and we’ll get it and we’ll answer your question. Well we have a couple of questions here off there. I think I’ll take a couple of them. We have Ken in Decatur, Illinois, and he says, A.W. Pink, what is the biblical positions on salvation by Mr. Pink? Well, I like the writings of Arthur Pink.

In fact, his book on Genesis and Exodus and the Prophet Elijah and Joshua, he’s got a lot of books out are all very, very excellent. You do have to remember or at least be aware that he is a full five point Calvinist and believes you don’t have any choice in accepting Christ, which I don’t believe. But otherwise, he does a marvelous job. His book on the book of Genesis is one of my favorite books and I’ve read it through several times and I’m really on a new journey to read it through again.

So it’s a great book. AWP. But if you read his book called The Sovereignty of God, it’ll really just lay out his five-point Calvinism and he doesn’t believe that you have the choice to accept to reject Christ, which I believe is not true. The Bible tells us that God chose the same people from the beginning before the foundation of the earth based upon belief in the truth. So we have the choice to accept the truth and then we’re chosen as we believe on Christ.

God in other words chose to save all that would believe on Christ and did not choose to save those that would reject Christ. As the old Moody said it, the whosoever wills are the elect and the whosoever wants are the non-elect. We have Richard in Indiana calling in and he says in Galatians 4, 6, God sent forth the spirit of the sun into your hearts. In Matthew 22.37 it talks about our heart, soul and mind. How does this fit into your teaching?

Well, we know that I’m sure this is dealing with the heart issue and obviously Christ comes and dwells in the believer’s body. But to try to say that he dwells in the pumping organ, the heart, I believe that’s trying to stretch it. Actually the word heart from the Greek means the center of your thought processes and obviously in this sense here of Galatians 4-6 is talking about your body. Christ does come into all in the believer and He dwells in our bodies but not in a particular organ and so I think that’s really off.

And so I’m certainly aligned with all these passages harmonized. When you trust Christ, it says that in Colossians 1, 27, Christ in you is the hope of glory. That is the wonderful truth of this age that we do have Christ in Wallis. Of course, there are three members of the Godhead, and it speaks of all free dwelling in us. It says our bodies are the temple of God and also that the God of the Holy Spirit comes and indwells in our temple and also Christ dwells in us.

In Richard I hope that helps. I’m really glad you’re listening up there in Indiana and I hope you’ll continue to listen if you have further questions about this or something else. Fire me another question on the internet or give us a call during the live broadcast. I’m Dr. Inchlinston. This is by a brand, we’re coming to you from Jerusalem. And almost sounds strange that we are not in our regular studio in Tampa, Florida at the Calvary Community Church where I passed her.

But I will be back this Sunday and we invite you to come and I’ll be covering some of the things about our trip. We’ll also be having the word supper. We normally have that on the first Sunday, but we’ll have it this Sunday because I’ll be back and we’ll do it at 9.45. It’ll be over at 10.15. We’ll have our worship service at 10.30. And the following Sunday will be our dinner Sunday, so if you want to come by, it’d be a great Sunday for you to come and join us for the third Sunday dinner.

So that’s 10.30 in the morning worship, and then the dinner will follow. the service concludes and you’ll get in on a lot of good fellowship and good eating and I think you’ll have a great day so we invite you to come and join us. Again, if you live in another city you can visit our worship service as we webcast it all around the world. We have now 155 countries that have logged on and you can watch our worship service from anywhere in the world.

I, this past Sunday checked out our worship service from here in Israel by going on the web myself and there it was. Look at that and I’ve checked out several of the radio programs here in Israel and they’re in archive and they’re broadcast every day just like they should be broadcast and we’re excited about that. So you can not only catch today’s program again on the Internet but you go back and catch the once you missed and hopefully you catch the next couple of programs for Ms.

Rolle as we will broadcast all throughout this week through Friday and this Sunday I’ll be back in the pulpit and Monday and next week you’ll hear some live broadcast from our studios in Tampa, Florida to Calvary Community Church. So pray for us as we return and keep listening and telling your friends about the programs that are really kind of a tour of Israel while we take you on our journey. We have seen on the east side of the city of Jerusalem the Valley Kidron.

We’ve seen on the west side of the city of Jerusalem the valley Hinnam. Now Hinnam is the valley from which we get the name for hell. In the valley Hinnam in the time of Christ there was where they would burn the garbage. They also at different times had offered live human sacrifices in Hinnam. The word gay henna, which is used in the Bible for hell, speaks of this valley of Hinnam. Christ said the only difference between the garbage fires of Hinnam in His day and the final hell is that the fire will never be quenched in hell and the souls that are cast in hell will never die.

powerful. He says it three times in Mark’s Gospel chapter 9 verse 42, 44, 46 says, the soul will never die and the fire will never be quenched. My friend, you do not want to experience hell fire. It is forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and Jesus spoke more about hell than he did about heaven because he didn’t want anyone to go there and he didn’t want you to go there. And you don’t have to go to hell.

Every person on this planet is eligible to go to heaven. All you have to be is a sinner, which we all are. And if you trust Christ as the one who died and paid for your sins by his death and shed blood at the cross, then you’ll be exempted from going to hell, you’ll go to heaven. And the Bible says that you, as a believer, will never, ever, ever go to hell. That’s good news. But the Valley Hinnam certainly gave us a visual picture and he said the real hell, the eternal hell, will be like the garbage fires burning in the Valley Hinnam except the soul will never die and the fires will never be quenched.

So don’t wind up in hell. You don’t have to, no one has to. If you’re listening today and you’ve never trusted Christ, you need to do so and you can do it right now. You can just tell the Lord Lord I am a sinner. I don’t understand much about the Bible, but I do believe Jesus Christ died for me. As he shed his blood and paid for my sins at the cross of the very gross again from the dead and I trust him right now to forgive my sin and give me the gift of eternal life, the moment you trust him, God of an heaven saves you.

That will be the smartest decision you would ever make. Well those two valleys come together and join at the southern end of Jerusalem and we find that Jerusalem is surrounded by valleys except in the north. And later this week we’re going to visit Calvary and there we believe Solomon isolated the hill of Calvary where Christ was crucified from the city of Jerusalem by cutting what what we call a dry moat. There was actually like a man-made valley or boat on the north end.

We’ll talk more about that when we get there and see it and talk to you about it. Basically, Jerusalem had a wall that surrounded the Old City on all sides, but the north was the most vulnerable. Basically, all the enemies that ever came against Jerusalem music came down from the north. the weak side where they can be conquered most easily. But we will be sharing those things with you as we get closer and closer to that event. Right now we’re coming to the conclusion of this program and I hope that if you would take the time to call our operators you could order from our resource center.

They’re obviously able to tell you what best would suit your needs if you could tell them what you’re looking for and they can ship that right out to you. You’ve been listening to Bibleline. And that CD was, she said, that’s all it does, play your CD and it did all the job, all the work for her.
