So give us a call and we can explain and get you on the list and we can include you.
We have finished now our teaching on 2 Peter. We want you to know that that set is available now on CD or DVD and we hope you’ll call in and order that set. Ten hours of teaching on 2 Peter, a book that Satan doesn’t want you to read. is a book that liberal scholars don’t want in the Bible. And it’s a book that really prepares us for the end times and what we would be facing and answers that we might give and to be alert that in the last days we would find Christian bashing would be popular.
That’s what exactly what Peter says and we need to be in the Word of God more than ever in these last days. It’s a great study. I think you’ll enjoy Second Peter and it’s now available. Plus First Peter’s available. I am the gospel of John and about 40 different presentations on CD and DVD that you can use. You have your Bible, get it open and we’ll take a look at some scriptures and then we’ll take our callers and if lots of all fair questions we’ll try to get to those.
Be patient with us. We try to give the on-air callers first priority, but then we’ll go to the Offairs and try to catch those. In Matthew 24, this is so often misunderstood where people read in verse 40 and 41, there will be two in the field, the one will be taken, and the other left, two women should be grinding at the middle, the one will be taken, and the other left, most people believe This is the Rapture. It is not.
Most people believe this is the rapture. It is not. It is the Second Coming, and actually what happens here is the opposite of what happens at the rapture. At the rapture, the believers are taken up and meet the Lord in the air, and the ones that are left behind are the unbelievers that will be left behind to live into the tribulation period of seven years in length. At the Second Coming, seven years later, the unbelievers are taken in judgment in the brain and the believers are left to live into the thousand-year kingdom of Christ.
That’s what’s taking place here. And again, a lot of people get mixed up because it says in verse 29, immediately after the tribulation of those days. So it’s clearly talking about after the tribulation period is ended. If you say that verse 1441 are the rapture, then you become a post-tribulation rapture then you say the rapture happens after the tribulation. You can certainly understand how that mistake is made and those who believe in a rapture at the end of the tribulation that the church has to go through the tribulation make this error as they read verse 29, the tribulation period is over immediately after the tribulation of those days.
Then they read there will be two in the field, the one will be taken, the other left, two women will be grinding in the middle, the one will be taken and the other left. And they said that happens at the end of the tribulation period. What is this pre-tribulation rapture? Well obviously they’re not good Bible students because they’re not paying attention. This is not talking about the rapture. It says in verse 37, As the days of Noah were socially coming of the Son of Man be, for as in the days that were before the flood, they were eating and drinking and marrying and giving in marriage until the day that Noah entered into the ark.
Verse 39, catch this and do not until the flood came and took them. If you have your pen, mark the words, took them all away. What happened? The flood took what group? It took the unbelievers and the flood destroyed all the unbelievers. Everybody on the earth that was not a believer was destroyed. There were eight believers inside the ark that were saved. But the unbelievers were taken away and the ones that were left to repopulate the earth were known as family.
Notice this says, and knew not until the flood came and took them all away, so shall also the coming of the Son of Van B. Now I have taken in my Bible and I have circled the word Took in verse 39, I have circled the word Taken in verse 40 and in 41, tied them all together with a line, and the ones taken in verse 40 are taken in the same way the flood took the lost back in the days of Noah.
They were taken in judgment and slain and the one that is left is left to repopulate the earth. Those who will be the ones who will live into the thousand year earthly reign of Christ. So in verse 40, two will be in the field. One will be taken in judgment and slain. Jesus will have his angels round up all the unsaved on the whole earth and the Bible tells us. They’ll be placed in the Valley of Jehoshaphat, and their Christ will come and stomp on them and crush the blood out of the unbelievers, such that a river of blood will flow 200 miles long is deep as the horse’s bridle.
Apparently billions, billions will now, not millions, billions, will be slain in Christ. We’ve seen that song, The Battle of Him and the Republic, and most people think what a wonderful song, Glory, Glory, Hallelujah, His Truth is marching on, and they don’t even realize this song is about the Second Coming. It’s about Christ coming back and crushing the unbelievers. It says the fate of His, the lightning of His terrible sword is loose then, and He is trampling out the grapes of wrath, whether grapes of wrath are stored.
It’s talking about a passage, several passages in the Bible to describe this. In Isaiah chapter 63, for example, it talks about Christ prophetically coming into second coming and crushing the unbelievers. Let me just read it at verse 2 for Isaiah chapter 63. If you have your Bible there, you You can look at it for yourself. But it says here, and this is Christ. Wherefore, the question is asked of Christ. Art thou read in nine apparel. And your garments like him that treadeth in the wine fat.
Talk about a wine press. You know in the olden days they’d get in there with their feet and stomp on the grapes and they’d crush the juice out of the grapes and then it would be collected. Well, it says in verse 3 and this is Christ speaking here prophetically Isaiah 63 verse 3 I have trodden the wine press alone and of the people there was none with me For I will tread them in mine anger and trample them in my fury and their blood, their blood.
So be sprinkled upon my garments and I will stain all my rain, all my rainmen. So Jesus when he comes back will actually crush the unbelievers in the winepress of the wrath of God. and the blood will be spilled out and create a river 200 miles long as deep as the horse is bridle. We believe that billions would be killed. I did some calculations once. I’ve lost my calculations up to Sorrowlumber, but there’s about six quarts of blood in the average human.
And I figured out the volume of six quarts of blood and how many people it would take the former river like this. We know two dimensions. We know the length of the river 200 miles. We know the death of the river by as deep as a horse’s bridle, we don’t know the width of the river. So I figured out how many people would have to be slain to form a river one foot wide, two foot wide, three foot wide, four foot wide and so on.
And apparently billions will be slain to form this river of blood two hundred miles long as deep as a horse’s bridle. When Christ comes back, He comes back in fury, in vengeance the Bible says, and the unbelievers will be taken, Isaiah tells about this very event here in Matthew 2440, where two will be in the field, the one will be taken, and he will be slain, and the blood will be crushed out of his body to form this river.
The other will be left to live into the Millennial Kingdom. Let me turn back to Zachariah, and you will find that many, many verses, the Old Testament talk about people being left at the return of Christ to live into the moniel kingdom. Let me just give you an example of that. In Zechariah chapter 14 it says in verse 16, it shall come to pass. This is after Christ’s return, verse 4, talks about his feet touching on the Mount of Olives, it’s splitting, and then Christ setting up his kingdom here on the earth.
Verse 16 of chapter 14 of Zechariah says it shall come to pass that everyone that is is left. That is left. L E F T. There it is. Two will be in the field. The one will be taken. The other left. It shall come to pass. Zachariah 14 verse 16. It shall come to pass that everyone that is left of all the nations, which came against Jerusalem, shall go up from year to year to worship the king, the Lord of Host and to keep the feast of taper As clearly the Millennium, Christ will be king, he will be ruling over the earth, and those that are left of all the nations that came against Jerusalem, those that are saved, that are left behind at the Second Coming will go up every year to worship the king in Jerusalem.
Isn’t that something? Now at the Rapture, the ones that are left are unbelievers who will be around for the seven years of tribulation, the ones that are taken are taken up to meet the Lord of the But at the Second Coming, the ones that are taken are taken and just been killed, and the unbelievers are going to be slain, but the believers will be left to live in the Millennium. And here talks about them in Zechariah 14-16. It shall come to pass that everyone that is left of all the nations, which came against Jerusalem, shall go up even from year to year to worship the king, the Lord of Hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.
Well right in this wonderful passage about the Second Coming, it gives the parable here of the fig tree. And we have lots of speculation about the timing here as to when Christ would return as the Bible gives us some hints here. But it talks about the parable of the fig tree, and the fig tree we believe is talking about Israel. Israel is right now celebrating its 60th anniversary as a country in this very month. It says here, learn a parable of the fig tree when its branches yet tender and put it forth leaves you know that summer is nine.
When you therefore shall see all these things know that it is near, that is my coming is near even at the doors. I say unto you, this generation shall not pass till all these things be fulfilled. Well, you know, if you go back to 1948, as when Israel declared her independence as a state, and if you take a generation will not pass, and you go back to Psalm 90 where it says that the years of a man’s life is about 70 years, and you take 48 and you add 70, you come up with a date for the second coming around the year 2018.
If you subtract the seven years of the tribulation period, that would put the rapture in the year 2011. Well, I’m not a date-setter, but this is one of many speculations, and that would tell us here we are in the year 2008, and maybe somewhere between now and the year 2011, Christ will be back. Who knows? He could be back today or this year. But in any case, I believe we’re getting very close, and it’s interesting that the generation living when Israel became a nation in 1948, and some people born in that year of Christ, and that year, I believe, is a great place.
in 2018 will be 7 years old and that perhaps will be the length of time between when Israel becomes a nation and Christ returns to the Second Coming and it is the fact that 7 years from the Tribulation the Rapture would be in 2011. Now I’m not saying a date and I certainly hope that you will replay the tape or replay this program and let me assure everybody I’m not saying a date but I’m just saying this This is a possible speculation and there are many different ones that are related to this particular passage but definitely Christ is coming back and we believe very soon.
I hope everybody listening today has trusted Jesus Christ as the only hope of heaven because you are only saved when you trust in the finished work of Jesus Christ. His death and shed blood is the full payment for all of your sins past, present and future. When you trust Him you become saved and saved forever. We’re going to go to the phone lines of Dr. Inklynston. This is Bibleline. We’re coming to you live from Tampa, Florida. The phone number is 1-800-576-3771.
1-800-576-3771. We invite you to give us a call right now. Talk to a gentleman this morning down in Miami, Florida, the Opalaca, Florida. He said that Bibleline is the greatest thing that’s happened to him in all of his Christian life. That’s a nice compliment. We thank God for all those who say it’s nice things and encourage us to keep this program coming at you. Bibleline is coming to you five days a week live and of course you can catch it 24-7 on the internet from wherever you might be on the planet Earth.
Just go to BibleLineMinistries.org, click on the spinning globe and you will be able to be able to catch our radio program from anywhere on the planet at any time of day that you would like and we certainly hope that you will do that. So by the line is available to all of you. We have an anonymous call and we’re going to go to Fort Lauderdale and talk to Mr. Anonymous. Welcome to by the line you’re on the air. Hello.
Hello, you’re on the air. I’m going to go. Okay, I have my radio off, so I’m driving down. I’m just going to ask a quick question if I can, then I’m going to hang off so I can listen. I’m just curious about the… you always talk about what they were going to be on it and the rest of the rapture did you explain that more? I’ve never talked about a UFO so I don’t know what you’re talking about. What?
What UFO? I’ve never spoken about a UFO. Hey, Dr. Lynch, I’m always talking about. I don’t know who you’re talking about. Anyway, there is no UFO. Jesus himself, 1st Thessalonians 4 16, says the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout. It says with the voice of the Archangel with the Trump of God, and those that have already gone to be with the Lord will be given the resurrection bodies at that moment. And then we which are alive, verse 17 of 1 Thessalonians 4, says we will be caught up to meet the Lord in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
So there is no UFO. Jesus comes and shouts and all the believers on the earth will be caught up and meet the more than the air and we’ll be with a word from that point on forever and ever and ever and ever. Good news and I’m looking forward to it and I believe we’re close enough that we can all expect to be in that if you just stay healthy just a little bit longer. Thank you for calling in and we now have Mickey in Tampa, Florida.
Mickey, welcome to Bible and you’re on the air. Yes. Am I on the air? You are on the air. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. I do have a few questions. I don’t really have questions. I just have one thing for all the non-believers that if they’re searching for God, they need to start in Acts 2.38. And that will lead in two Christ. Alright, well thank you very much. X238 is not my favorite verse to use with the loss because I think it needs explanation.
The word repent. In Acts 2.38 the Greek word is metanoi, and it means change your mind. People have the wrong definition of repentance, and they say you have to turn from your sin to be saved, which Mickey would be works at a dissolvation. Then nowhere is the Bible ever tell us that we have to turn from our sin to be saved. The Bible says that we are saved as we are. That Christ Romans 5a, commended His love for us in that while we were yet sinning Christ tied for us.
So Christ died for sinful men, of which all of us are. And when we simply come to Christ, and I love that hymn writer who wrote, Just as I Am I Come, Without One Play, but that Thy blood was shed for me. So we find that we come just as we are, and we become the Saviour, when we trust Christ is our Savior, then God the Holy Spirit indwells us and gives us the power to have victory over sin after we become the same.
Then the second part of Acts 2, 38 talks about being baptized and it’s not talking about water. If you’ll notice, and by the way there are 10 different baptisms taught in the New Testament, most of them don’t involve any liquid whatsoever, and there it says be baptized in the name, in the name, in the name of the Lord Jesus. Well when you are baptized in the name it means your cleanse, your washed in the name or in the authority of Jesus Christ who died for us.
And it’s when you trust in His authority as God who took on flesh, you died and paid for your sin and shed his blood to wash your sins away. God saves you. And so I believe that 230 is a great verse but I think it takes some explanation for the people who have been given wrong definitions all their life. It’s not talking about water baptism in that verse. It’s not talking about turning from sin. It really should be change your mind and trust Christ and be cleansed of all of your sin in the name or in the authority of Jesus Christ.
And you receive the gift of the Holy Spirit and you’ll be receiving the forgiveness of your sin. We have Bill in the land, Florida and Bill, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the earth. Good morning, Doctor. Good morning. I’ve got a question for you regarding 1 Corinthians 7, I think it’s verses 10 and 11. And the King James, I think it’s in verse 11 that talks about, my wife and I are both believers. She left after 2006, you know, she brought up her divorce in December and it’s still pending.
I gave her a radio Bible class booklet under the worst remarriage and the author of that booklet I came up with, the bandyloger who the author was. In there he was saying it’s okay for the leavers to divorce under grounds other than communication. The thing was one occasion. Jesus says, I think it’s verse 11 of verse Corinthians 7 and says, you know, the husband, you know, not to divorce. Paul’s talking about believers, I believe there. And it says in the, in the white show remain On married.
Guess from that booklet from Radio Bible class on divorce and remarriage. It says otherwise and I’ve talked to other Baptist pastors up here and they all interpret it as remained unmarried. It just means that he lives separate in a part. Still married and the only option is separation or reconciliation and it remains if unmarried. Am I correct? Yeah, I believe you’re absolutely right. Here of course the situation there in Corinth where you had people getting saved and so all of a sudden one of the Top part partners.
Yeah, I get saved and the others an unbeliever and it caused a strain on the marriage and here It’s saying if the unbelieving depart then Let them depart But let the saved one, of course, remain unmarried. And it talks about the possibility of reconciliation here. And it says if the unbelieving verse 15 depart, let him depart. But if you can keep it together, it’s the possibility of you getting the other part that they’re saved. It says in verse 16, for what Noah’s thou, O wife, whether thou shall save thy husband, or how Noah’s thou, O man, whether thou shall save thy wife.
Keeping it together, you could possibly leave the other person to Christ. Here you had a couple that was married. One of them gets saved, the other is an unbeliever. As a result, the unbeliever sometimes wanted to get out of the marriage and would leave the believer. The Bible is separated and unmarried. And some people do separate a personal period of time. It shouldn’t be lengthy. But then come back together. I don’t know that it can be. But obviously the Bible talks about remaining unmarried though not to remarry.
If the partner dies, then in verse 39 of this chapter it talks about that they can remarry but only in the Lord they need to marry another believer. Right. I’m equally open. Yeah. But some… Well it makes it difficult especially when children come along and decisions come along. as to be made as to what you tell your children about God and as the unbeliever of an as an object. Well, we do thank you and I’m out of time. We’re going to have to go to break here.
We’ll come back and do a second half hour of Bible ends. So keep your radio tuned right where it is and I’ll be right back and do a second half hour in just a moment. So don’t go away. Keep your radio tuned right where it is. Don’t go away Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Alright, I’m Dr. Anglins from it’s great to be with you and I thank you so much for tuning in to the Bibleline program and you’re welcome to tune us in each and every day.
Monday through Friday, live as when we broadcast. But if you go to my website, BibleLineMinistries.org, you can catch us at any time of day or night because the program’s set there in archive, there’s nearly two years of program sitting there for you to listen to and enjoy at your pleasure. Many people tell me they come home in the evening, they shower and they have their evening meal and then they relax and get their Bible out and go to the website BibleLineMinistries.org and they click on the spinning globe, get the radio program and they’re able to…
the nice thing is that you can back me up, you can fast forward, you can pause, and you can take your time and work your way through the Bible and be able to look up the verses and really enjoy the program to the max. And maybe you only got bits and pieces while you were at work during the day, and you can go back and hear the full program and glean the most of our maximum from it in the evening.
By the way, our worship services are there. This is Friday and we hope that you’ll attend church someplace. But if you don’t have a good Bible-believing teaching church to attend, you can certainly catch our worship service live on Sunday morning by going to our website and clicking on the camera at 11 o’clock on Sunday morning. And as soon as the message begins, the audio and the video will come up. You’ll be able to hear and see our worship service wherever you might be.
If you’re attending a good church, then you can go back during the week and anytime and catch the Sunday sermon and a lot of people tell me that they do that and really enjoy getting to get that Bible message that we deliver every week here from our Bible and headquarters. We invite you to take advantage of all the things on our website, including the online bookstore. We have so many resources there that I think will be helpful to you.
So you can give the Bibleline on our online bookstore. There’s a secure place there for you to give by credit card. Also, you can call and give a gift to Bibleline. And many prefer to do that. It makes it so simple nowadays to be able to make that decision. You give a gift and then call and just give it over the phone. We are listeners supported. Without your help, we could not be on the air. So please take advantage of the website and use it as a place to be able to give or to shop and to learn and to become a partner with us here by the line.
And also don’t forget you can use that telephone and we’re… Here, every day Monday through Friday for sure, and sometimes he’ll catch us on other times on the weekend and so on. We’re going to go back to the stations that have been on break into the second half hour Bibleline, so I keep you ready to write where it is, and I’m going to do part two. When you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question, you can.
Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. 7-1. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Alright, we’re back for that break and this is 5-Lennum Dr. Hank Lindstrom and we’re coming to you on from Tampa, Florida from our studios right here at the Calvary Community Church. We’re on the pastor and we’re excited about being able to be with you every day, Monday through Friday and also on the internet throughout all of the weekend and throughout all of the week and I hope you’ll take advantage.
You’re living in the Tampa Bay area. You can hear 70s a week as we’re on here in the local area, seven days a week at 10 o’clock in the morning, Saturdays and Sundays. We play the best of, it’s not live, but it is the best of that we choose and put that on the air. Other stations play us numerous times and we’re excited about that. In North Adams, Massachusetts, we’re on twice a day, nine in the morning and nine at night, knowing the land of Florida.
on at 10 o’clock live in the morning but also getting 9 o’clock at night and numerous other stations play us many many times. I know in Chattanooga, Tennessee they play us four times a day, 10 o’clock in the morning, four o’clock in the afternoon, 10 o’clock at 9 and 4 a.m. in the morning and so you might check with your local station and ask if there are other bonus times during the day and also over the weekend and catch Bible online more than once and tell your friends about the Bible and program and help us grow our audience.
We are totally listening to support it and without you we could not be on the air. This is a wonderful adventure that God has given to us to get this gospel out and it’s something that requires us to partner together because it is expensive to be on the air and we certainly do not have the funds to be able to do that. Our listeners have been the means by which we have been able to do that, and so they are true partners with us here at Bible and if you would like to assure that this program stays on the air in your area and that we can continue to reach out with the gospel and get people safe, then would you help us?
Please consider praying for us on a regular basis. And also if you could call in today and give a gift by a credit card that would be so appreciated. God bless you and thank you in advance. We do appreciate every one of our listeners and we thank you for your prayers and for your gifts to Bible on. We’re going to go to Carol in Sarasota, Florida and Carol, welcome to Bibleline You’re on the air. Yes, Dr. Lance from I’d like to ask you what year did Christ die on the cross?
Well my personal opinion is around 80-30. Some say 80-29. Some say 80-30. Christ died at 33 years of age, but we know there’s a calendar error of about anywhere from three to six years, and many believe it is about a three-year error. So instead of Christ being born at what we would consider zero, he was born in BC-3 or BC-4, and so that would make the crucifixion either in 80, 29 or 80, 30, and we just don’t know for sure.
Okay and then I wanted to know could you explain the prophecy of the the last week as related to Israel? Well sure and Daniel chapter 183 years up until Christ death and then yeah and Daniel chapter 9 what a wonderful prophecy the prophecy of 70 weeks and there are 70 weeks of years the Hebrew word for week there just means seven. It could be seven rocks seven loaves of bread seven Hill, 7, anything, but in the context it’s talking about years.
And it tells when to start counting and it said it would be from the command to restore and rebuild Jerusalem that had been destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar and were coming to the end of the Babylonian captivity. And a commandment would be given, Daniel tells us, that would allow the city of Jerusalem to rebuild and the temple be rebuilt. And you are to count then 69 weeks of years or 483 years and then it would take you right to the death of Christ.
What an incredible prophecy that turns out to the very day. He was always fascinated me and one of the reasons why I believe the Bible would be the word of God. It is not a prophecy to the birth of Christ, but it’s a prophecy to the most significant event in all of history. The death of Christ when he died to pay for our sins and he was cut off out of the land of the living. But as it says in Daniel 926, not for himself, it was for you and for me.
There is still one week of years of sin. one week of years that hasn’t happened. So the clock stopped ticking for Israel when Christ died on the cross. The clock will restart ticking at the event of the Rapture and seven more years need to tick off the clock. Those are the last seven years of the Old Testament which still have not been fulfilled. And once the Rapture happens we’ll be back on Jewish territory. Jews are already back in the state of Israel in anticipation of this and celebrating their 60th anniversary this month.
But also we know that a temple will be rebuilt, two Old Testament prophets are going to come back. The witnesses during the tribulation period will be 144,000 Jewish men and we’re just on Jewish territory once the rapture happens in that seven year period then we’ll conclude with Christ returning and establishing His Kingdom here on the surf which will be for a thousand years literally. And then after those seven years, then the eighth day is that the start of the eternity?
Well at the end of the seven years there’s a thousand year day which is the seventh day If you’re going by the recreated week of Genesis being a picture of all the history that there would be six days of human history from Adam till the second coming and then the seventh thousand year day would be the millennium but then we’re on into eternity after that thousand years is concluded. Oh, I see. Thank you. Well, thank you very much. You’re very welcome and thank you for calling in Carol down in Sarasota, Florida.
We’re now going to go to Carl in Tampa for the Carl. Welcome to Bibleline. Yeah, Leviticus 19 8. Yes. And I had mentioned that to mention where it talks about not to cut the sides of your face, the hair band and the beard and how to point the eight. And as I was reading it for the dead and then it talks about not putting any prints in your body. So the printing your body is that the planning to do with the 19 27.
Okay, good question. Obviously, we’re not to put graffiti on our bodies, and if you already have tattoos, you’re going to have to stuck with them, you have to live with them. But God didn’t want you to cut your body or to print on it or put graffiti on it. And he created us. And I think that when we deface it, it would just be like somebody killing by and putting graffiti on your house. You would not appreciate that. God’s body becomes his house or his temple and God doesn’t want us to defile that as well.
Sometimes when I think about for the dead, oftentimes a lot of tattoos will have on their mom or dad or something and sometimes they’re already deceased and it seems like a way of honoring them or recognizing them but it’s even if it’s done for a good purpose. Tattoos are wrong, I think according to the Bible. This is of course some great instruction for us today because it seems like there’s a tremendous upsurge in kids and young people getting tattoos of body piercings and it’s just exploding right now and certainly I think that the Bible is Thank you Carl for calling in and we’re now going to go to Fred in Fort Lauderdale.
Fred, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Hi, Dr. Hank. This is Fred and I just want to thank you for your program. I’ve recently been listening about say about two months and I’ve been tremendous helping. Very clear. Go ahead. I’ll give you a quick tip. I think another verse that some of the hows that in college.
Well, I think you’re mixing up several passages there, one from Hebrews, one from Luke and then lots of wife way back in Genesis. But basically, I think the one you’re referring to is in Luke where he talks about a person who has put his hand in the plow and turns back, is not fit for the kingdom of God. It’s not talking about salvation, but it’s talking about discipleship. And if you’re going to hire somebody who’s going to plow your field and they’ve got their hand on the plow and they’re plowing the row and they look back, they’re going to have their hand on the plow.
When they look back, they’re going to probably go all over the place and not to plow a straight line. So you wouldn’t want to hire them and you’d probably fire them. And so if you’re going to be a disciple of Christ and you start out and then you’re looking all around and not focusing on Christ and doing the job that you’re appointed to do, then Christ is going to fire you as a disciple. But he won’t lose you in John 637.
Christ said, him that come with me, I will know why he’s cast out. He would not catch you out as far as anything you might do But you may not be fit to be a servant of his and that’s what it’s talking about Just like if you’re a farmer you wouldn’t want to hire a guy that didn’t keep his eye on that Point at the end of the field where he’s headed to make a straight line So that you can get the maximum amount of crops out of your acre or many acres of land or whatever you have So I think that’s what it’s talking about.
It’s not talking about loss of salvation talking about being an infant as a servant and as a Christian who is going to be a servant of Christ or disciple of Christ, you are going to have to keep your life in order and keep yourself focused on the goal and the purpose that God has for you. So I hope that helps answer that for you, Fred. Absolutely. Can I ask one more question? Yes, sure. What about the one that says Workout?
That’s in Philippians 2.12 and it really is not saying Work 4. It says work out. And the point is that we have salvation when we trust Christ and Savior, but we’re to display it. So we’re to work it out or let it be seen or let it be displayed. If you look just a couple of verses further down and talks about us holding forth the word of life that by doing so we become lights in this world to those that are in darkness.
And so we are giving out the gospel, we’re letting people see and learn about the salvation that we have within us. Thank you very much. A lot of people take that and they somehow read into that work for salvation and it doesn’t say work for salvation in Philippians 2, 12. It says work out the salvation that you have within us. In other words, display it. We are again talking about the Christian life and not about how to be saved.
We’re now going to go to Jackson, go for it and we have anonymous there on the line. Anonymous welcome to Bible word good morning, dr. Armstrong wanted to share something and then I’ll hang up Let you just cut it again. It’s about the job with it says I had yesterday to Do a very good job at it, but I’m not that much grounded in all the scripture like I should but I was just totally blown away By some of the stuff that they said and I think one thing I wanted to touch on is that she told me that they believe that Jesus I think she said with Michael the archangel which I was totally shocked here I’m saying that how could they believe that and then the other thing is they think that God is finished with Jerusalem with Israel.
They turn their backs on them. There’s no more. They don’t believe in all this new stuff. What’s the new coming, the prophecy, the end times and stuff the same way we do. I mean, it’s just what they believe is that so far out there I was just totally shocked that he knew what the Savior after she told me that Jesus himself was not God, that he was Michael the angel and that he is a God but he’s not God himself Jehovah and that he was Michael.
Did you please tell me where to get that from and I’ll hang up and listen to your answer. Okay. Well it probably got it from the devil himself because obviously it says in the first John that the two denied Christ being God in the flesh is of the spirit of Antichrist which is the spirit of Antichrist. This is the devil himself who is the spirit and dwells in powers the Antichrist. So obviously, this is where it’s all coming from.
The Jehovah’s Witnesses are Jehovahless. You need to point out 1 John 2, 23, whosoever deny the son the same hath not the Father. So because they deny the Son and say he’s Michael the archangel, they don’t have Jehovah. They don’t have the Father. So they’re Jehovahless. Always like to share that with them. Did you know that you Jehovah’s Witnesses are Jehovahless? And then if you show them 2nd John verse 9, it says if you deny the sun. And don’t recognize that Jesus has got in the flesh.
You don’t have God. So they’re godless and Jehovahless. And they don’t even realize it. We need to pray for these people. I’ve led many of them to Christ, but they are tough because they are sacrificially brainwashed. And they believe obviously things which are not biblical. It’s easier to tell you all the things that they don’t believe rather than what they do believe. The witnesses are very confused and they are lost. Thank you Anonymous, and we appreciate that call. We’re now going to go to Adam and Denver, Colorado.
And Adam, Adam, the Rockies. Hello, Pastor. Yes. Oh, hi. I have a question regarding the book of the Temple. Which temple is that? Is that the one that was built when Jesus was born? That temple there is talking about the second temple, often known as Herod’s temple. Herod didn’t build a bitty refurbished it, made it beautiful. It was a tachin or a time of Christ, and that’s the one that Christ entered into and was rejected. But the temple we’re talking about is the third temple that will be built during the tribulation period after the rapture.
So the stones have already been cut, and also we were just there a couple weeks ago, and we saw many of the implements for worship and the menorah is a solid piece of gold, just like the Bible talks about. It’s about, I guess, to my shoulder height, it’s a pretty big piece of gold. I think it must be worth many, many millions of dollars. But all these things are ready to go. And I think as soon as the rapture happens, a political decision will be made so the third temple can be erected.
It’d probably go up in a couple of days. Anyway, I think we’re getting very close. That third temple is still ahead, and I believe the preparations have been already made to erect it. I think it’ll happen rather quickly once we’re out of here. Okay. So that is the second temple that was built. That is talking about in there. Yeah, that’s the same one we were talking about in the lady about the Daniels 70th week prophecy. The commandment to restore rebuilt the Jerusalem fulfilled in the prophet in Ezra talking about that rebuilding of that temple from the commander repilled it until Jesus died was four hundred and eighty-three years exactly.
Okay, great. One more thing. Last week I got on YouTube and for my own curiosity because I was speaking in tongues and after what I saw on there I was very scared after it and actually had a hard time going to sleep I’ve heard you talk about that. Could you please maybe explain it to me a little more in depth? Well speaking tongues is not a God and it’s a gibberish that’s happening today. The biblical gift was a real foreign language gift.
Without any training you could speak not only in a specific foreign language but in a specific dialect of that language. So that’s not being done today. Nobody today is doing that. In fact, the gibberish people don’t know what the world they’re saying, and nor does anybody that’s hearing them know what they’re saying. And that’s obviously a counterfeit. It’s done by all the world religions. And it’s the end time Satan’s counterfeit of the truth. If you have the real gift, it says in 1 Corinthians 14 verse 9, 1 Corinthians 14, it says, except you speak by the tongue, where it’s easy to be understood.
Now shall it be known what is spoken, you just speak into the air. So it tells us that the gift of tongues was for communication. Unless you speak words easily understood, you are really wasting your breath. You’re just speaking into the air. It says in 1 Corinthians 14, 9. Then it says in verse 22 of 1 Corinthians 14, tongues were evangelized. As it says, we’re assigned not to those that believe, not to those that believe, but to those that believe not.
The modern day movement does not use this around unbelievers. If they had the real gift, they should be evangelizing the lost with this gift of language that they have. They don’t because they know the lost don’t see it as from God. They’ll think you’re crazy. I have invited people for years and years and years. To get in my car and go with me and I’ll get them to a crowd, whether it’s in the mall or in the ballpark or someplace.
And if after freak out I’ll get a crowd together and I’ll introduce you, I tell them. We’ll have you speak in your gibberish and if you’ve got the real gift of tongues, we’ll have revival. People get saved everywhere. It’ll be assigned to these unbelievers. Nobody wants to go with me. I’ve never had, I even promise to stake dinner at the end of the event because I’d like to see this thing work. No one, no one, no one has ever wanted to go with me into public and use their gibberish in a public form.
They don’t want to do it. And that’s because they know. They know that they don’t have a gift that would attract the unbeliever, but yet the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 14 22 signs, turns their first sign, not to those that believe, but to those that don’t believe not. They don’t want to use it with unbelievers. It tells you right up front that they don’t have the real thing. And so I hope that helps a little bit. I was just kind of scared.
It is scared. Well, thank you for your clarification. I appreciate it. Okay, thank you so very much and the modern-day gift is there’s nobody today that has the biblical gift of tongues. And what is amazing to me is that the denominations that claim that they have it send their missionaries to language school, to learn a foreign language, to go to the jungle to teach the people in the jungle to do the gibberish to do back in the States. Just doesn’t make any sense at all.
Why good all that effort? If you had the real gift, just say, hey, you head out here and you head out there and you go over here and if they had the real gift, they wouldn’t need to go to language school. What kind of a deal is this? Well, obviously, it’s a deception, it’s a counterfeit, it’s not the real thing. We have Nick in Tampa for that. Nick, welcome to Bible Eye. You’re on the air. Hello? Hi. Hey, Dr.
Lensko. Yeah, you’re on the air. Yeah, you’re on the air. Yes, sir. I wanted to ask if you could explain the difference between the first abomination of desolation and the one that speaks of in the prophecy because I have a little confusion on that and maybe where the amylinolist, which is anything about the holocaust. Okay, very, very good. You know the abomination of desolation is an image of the Antichrist that will be placed in the third temple in the middle of the tribulation period.
Jesus refers to it in Matthew 24.15. Daniel talks about it in several chapters in Daniel and the Antichrist when he comes along will go to the temple in Jerusalem and proclaim that he is God. Thessalonians 2.4 tells us that and then he will leave his image there and apparently he will be lifelike. And according to Revelation 13 it will speak and look lifelike and give the appearance that the Antichrist is on duty 24-7. And apparently he will be seen around the world on television which today we have the capacity for even that to take place where everybody all around the world will be able to see his image 24-7.
always teased that it will be on the Antichrist channel. But certainly that’s for the Amalenist, the Amalenist are absolutely denial. The Bible talks about in Revelation 20 verse, well, chapter 20 of Revelation 6 times, it mentions the length of the kingdom that Christ will establish on the earth as being a thousand years, a thousand years, a thousand years, thousand years. And so obviously they just ignore that and they say it’s metaphorical, it doesn’t mean a thousand years. And so to them whatever you read doesn’t mean what it says.
And so you just have to say that they just don’t believe the Bible. If you take the Bible literally then obviously there is a thousand year Kingdom ahead where Christ will rule and reign on this earth for a thousand years and bring peace on earth, will toward men. So there is obviously a lot of confusion by people who don’t believe the Bible to be literal and they present their ideas. What was the third one? I was asking if the Bible had mentioned the Holocaust anywhere, sir.
Well, yeah, I think it does. It hints at it. It talks about how the Jewish people would go back to the land of Israel in weeping in tears and crying. I think that’s told in a number of places where, for example, in Ezekiel 37, the vision of dry bones, it talks about how there would be this cry, this noise that would cause the Jewish people to go back to their homeland, bone to their bone and become a nation again.
And I think we see that the Prophet Hosea also talks about the Jewish people who go back under And when Israel became a nation sixty years ago, they went back because of what had happened. In Europe with Hitler and the Holocaust, and says, in verse 1 of chapter 6 of Rosea Cass beer. Combat. Kom. And he will heal. He has been Chloe and he will behind us the. lo. And I believe that it’s talking about the persecution of Jews had experienced their.
experience there in Europe and how they would say let’s go back home, let’s go back back to the state of Israel, which is exactly what has happened. So I hope that helps.
