When I was in Israel two years ago, we invited a wonderful group of Nigerians to attend my Bible state the hotel in the evening at the Sea of Galilee, and about 40 of them came. One of them stood up and said, I listen to Bible and every day in Nigeria.

I just couldn’t believe it. I said, wow, here I travel all the way from the United States to Israel. He travels from Nigeria to Israel. And here he is a listener to my blind. I thought that was incredible. Well, if that wasn’t enough, later in the week, we met a whole nother group of Nigerians from northern Nigeria. The former fellow was from southern Nigeria. And they also recognized me. They watched the Bibleline television and services and listened to Bibleline radio and Receport pictures with them.

We had a great time of fellowship and I thought, wow, this is quite an interesting event here to go, halfway around the world, to meet people that are listening to Bibleline radio. So pray for us as we reach out with the Gospel and we’re reaching to where you’re listening right now to your radio. I hope it’s been a real joy and a pleasure. I’m going to turn to Ephesians chapter 2 in verse 8 and 9. It says here, 4 by grace are you saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast or brag. This is a great verse. What a grand verse. I have been to Ephesus Turkey and I have stood there in the Great Big Empathy Theater where the Bible tells us in the book of Acts that the people of Ephesus cried out there for two hours solid.

Great is Diana, the goddess of the Ephesians. Great is Diana, the goddess of the Ephesians. Great is, well, Paul had a great impact there at that city. He stayed there for eighteen months and he led many to Christ and he writes the wonderful letter to the believers at Ephesus, the book of Ephesians. I just thought of that as I stood there in Ephesus in that great big arena. Here I thought of those words as Paul wrote back to them and said, For by grace, mercy on Meredith Taver, you have been saved through faith in Christ Jesus.

Wow! Diana couldn’t save them. The great goddess of the Ephesians of the city of Ephesus, but Jesus could. He reminds them of their salvation experience when he was there and led them to Christ. He says, for by grace, by mercy, by unmerited favor, are you saved or you have been saved through faith in Christ Jesus? Here he tells them about the salvation that they had experienced when they trusted Christ as Savior and notice it is a past event. Because for the believer at the moment you believe, that’s when you become saved, it’s the moment you believe that that’s the moment when you receive everlasting life.

And it’s from that moment on that you are saved that is delivered from hell and the penalty of sin and death. And that occurs at the moment you trust Christ as your Savior. Wow, that’s got to be the best news you’ll ever hear. And here the Ephesians were reminded of that in this beautiful letter, 4 by grace you have been saved through faith in Christ Jesus. And this salvation is not of yourself. It is the gift of God and in verse 9 of Ephesians 2, it says, not of works, unless any man should boast.

I was raised in church, but I never knew Ephesians 2, 8, and 9 existed in my Bible, and then the night I got saved. Going to a Bible study for teens that my sister had invited me to, I didn’t want to go, but I was there to just get my sister off my back and I sat and listened and I heard Ephesians 289 for the first time in my life. osponsors 1, it says 4 by grace. I’m so glad they didn’t think that I knew anything about the Bible when I came that night because that confused me.

My mother’s name was Grace and so I thought in my mind, who is she? 4 by Grace. That’s how ignorant of the Bible. I was right after graduating out of high school and I was raised in Turkey, you see, but I didn’t know any of these terms. And so was explained that Grace was mercy and merit in favor, favor and mercy that I did not deserve or merit that it was not based upon my needs. And the next phrase that really caught my attention was, it was the gift of God.

And I said, wow, if it’s a gift, then I could receive it. I’d never heard that before. I never knew that eternal life was the gift of God. I love Romans 623 where it says the gift of God is eternal life. The gift of God is eternal life. The gift of God is eternal life. The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Well, wow. So the Bible throughout tells us that salvation is the gift of God.

It’s the gift of God. And then it says, and that none of yourselves is the gift of God. And in verse 9 says, it says in verse 9, not of works lest any man should boast or brag. And that one really got my attention because my church had taught works were necessary to good heaven that I had to have more good works than bad works one day. You know I had this picture that came from my church of a scale and one day after you died God would bring out all these books and everybody would be lined up.

Your name would be called out. They’d read out of the books whatever good works you had done, whatever bad works you had done and then they would apply works on this great big scale. Angels would be busy as bees loading weights up and you’d want a weight being weighed or put on the scale for your good works and then more weights being placed there for your bad works and you’d watch the scale and fear and trembling and hope, hope that you had more good works than bad works and that you’d make it into heaven.

Well obviously the Bible doesn’t teach anything like that. The Bible does not teach salvation by works and you know when I saw that phrase in Ephesians for the first time after graduating high school, it said, not of works. I said to myself, somebody’s wrong. Somebody’s wrong. Somebody’s wrong. Either my church is right and the Bible is wrong or the Bible is right and my church is wrong. It was so clear to me that somebody was wrong because the Bible said salvation was not of works.

My church taught But it was of works and I chose the Bible. I think you could figure that one out. The Bible has to be right. So God obviously tells us that eternal life, salvation to be delivered from hell, to go to heaven, is a gift that is none of yourself. It is not of works, lest any man should boast it by mercy, not deserved, not merit, not based upon any effort that we put forth. based upon the finished work of Jesus Christ.

And when we trust Him, God saves us. Wow, that was the best news I’ve ever heard. I trusted Christ that very night. And you know that it has changed my life forever. I knew from the moment I walked out of that room that I was going to heaven. And if I wasn’t going to heaven, then the Bible was a lie, God was a liar. And I might as well lie a match to my Bible and just forget the whole thing.

but I knew that God could not lie. I knew that if he said it, and I believed it, that settled it. And I knew I had eternal life when I left that room. And you know, I knew that week after week, a month after month, I knew that God could not lie to me. And that if I would trust Christ, according to the Bible, whosoever believed it in him, or would trust in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life?

Great news, isn’t it? And that was the best news I ever heard. I hope you’ve trusted Christ as your Savior. Many people though, pollute or change or pervert the message and add a little bit of work to it. It’s not Christ plus baptism. It’s not Christ plus confession. It’s not Christ plus walking the aisle. It’s not Christ plus joining the church. It’s not Christ plus keeping the commandments and I could go on and on and on and on. Christ plus nothing is Jesus alone that is the Savior.

And when you trust Him as the one who made the full payment for your sin, that’s when God saved you. And you can know you’re saved, and know you’re saved eternally. And obviously Paul tells these people at Ephesus how they had been saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. And then he says over in verse 20, Now then you are no longer strangers or foreigners, but you are citizens of heaven. Did you know that if you are a believer in Jesus alone?

The Bible says you’re not a stranger to heaven, you’re not a foreigner, you’re not somebody who’s intruding, somebody who’s out of place, you’re somebody who belongs there, and you are right now a citizen of heaven. Wow! I have a dual citizenship, I’m a citizen of the United States of America. But better than that, I’m a citizen of heaven, and that occurred when I trusted Christ as Savior. And my passport is the Bible. I trusted Christ. And because theYPALyondEase, salvation unbeliev, I’ll be able to interheaven one day because according to the Bible, I’m already a citizen.

Hi, yesterday someone had asked you about Todd Bentley and his meetings in Lakeland, And you had alluded to an internet item on him stating that he was an ex-con. And we were wondering where we could find that.

I mean, there’s so much on the internet. You don’t know. Well, I don’t know the exact site now. But I went and I put under Google. I put his name. And I got tons. And I began to read through. and we can dig it up again maybe. Call us after the radio and we’ll try to Google it. Well, I’ve tried to make sure before we put something out over the air. I don’t know that I support this, young man.

I haven’t been over there on what’s going on there. But if I’m saying- Well, it’s not going to be really wrong. But if you read the Googling on him in his past, he’s- But they can put anything on the internet. I just wondered if you’d gotten it from a source that’s been this Google. I think it was. And I wouldn’t have said it if I didn’t think so. but I’ll check it out again for you. Yeah, please do, and if it might not be 100% proven facts, well, we need to retract that.

Amen. But I don’t know that it’s not true. I don’t know anything about the guy. Thank you. Bye. And thank you for calling in. Obviously, the signs of one removant in Lakeland is far from scriptural, far from biblical. And obviously, people are flocking in from all over. This is a part of the end time signs of false teachers and false signs and wonder gifts. You know, if the people today had the gift of healing, why don’t they just go right down to the local hospital and go floor by floor, room by room and just heal and just empty the hospital out?

Wouldn’t that be incredible? Wouldn’t that be incredible? Wouldn’t that be incredible? You know, if they really had the gift, why don’t they do that? Have you ever thought about that? There’s lots of sick folks in the hospital. They’re easily full up to the brim and if they just walk the halls four by four emptied out every room healed them all send them all on send them all home Do you know the publicity and the news that would come from that?

Why don’t they do that? I don’t believe they can do that because it’s not a genuine gift today, and I thank you so much We’re now going to go to Kerry and Kerry is in Camp, Florida. He wants to have us explain the differences between Armenianism and the Bible position. Armenianism is basically all based upon man’s free will. Basically, those who are Armenian and persuasion believe you can lose your salvation because you can reject it, turn it back in, and so on. But that’s not possible, biblically, because the Bible says that once you trust Christ, there are things that happen that are irreversible. I wrote an article, 39 Things That Happen at the Moment of Belief, and they’re all irreversible.

Every one of them. For example, once you trust Christ, let me just go over one of them. In Ephesians chapter 4, it says, we are now members of his body and of his bones. The baptism of the Holy Spirit places you into Christ’s body. A lot of people think when they hear about the body of Christ, they think about the church or a body of believers, but they don’t realize that actually it’s Christ’s body that we’re talking about and that you as a believer at the moment of belief were actually placed into the very body of Christ such that when God saw Jesus dying on the cross of Calvary, he saw you in Christ’s body dying to pay for sins.

That’s why Paul can say in Galatians 2.20, I am crucified together with Christ, nevertheless I live. So he died at the cross in the body of Christ. And when Christ was buried, he was buried and you and I are buried. And when he rose, we rose with him as we are seen by God in Christ’s body. And right now, according to the Bible, we’ve been ascended with Christ and we’re seated with Christ. We’re already in heaven. But what is amazing?

says not only are we members of the body of Christ but it says members of his body of his flesh and of his bones. So salvation is therefore irreversible for somebody to be lost. Someone more powerful than God or Jesus would have to actually cut off, sever off, saw off a part of the body of Jesus Christ. In other words, you are members of his body as flesh as bones. So part of Christ’s flesh, part of his bones, would actually have to be sought off or severed from the body of Christ for you to be lost.

That’s why you can never be lost once you become saved. This is irreversible. You are members of his body, of his flesh and of his bones, read it in Ephesians 4 and 5, 30, and you’ll notice that’s why he can’t be lost. A member of the story of a lady who went to a church where the pastor said you could lose your salvation. And she said, that’s not possible because Jesus Christ is holding me in his hand. And it says that in John 1028, it says, I give them eternal life, they shall never perish, and neither shall any pluck them out of my hand.

And he said, of course, I clever response at the the Lord of the Church. He said, but, lady, be careful, you don’t slip out between his fingers. Well, that was a clever little response, wasn’t it? And, you know, she had a great response. She said, I can’t pass her because I am the fingers. Wow! Can you imagine? You see, we’re members of his body, of his flesh, of his bones. And so, we are the fingers that are actually holding us.

We are actually a part of his body, of his flesh, of his bones, and for us to be lost, for salvation to become undone would require part of the very body of Christ, his flesh is bones to be severed from his body, never going to happen. Never going to happen, never going to happen. Once you’re saved, I tell people you’re stuck. You can lose rewards. You can lose your joy. You can lose your effectiveness. You can lose your testimony, you can even lose your life, but you can’t lose your salvation.

That’s eternal. Or God told it by the wrong name. It’s eternal life that He gives and He becomes saved at the moment you believe. Miami, we thank you for being on the air. I went to the Bible books during last night and I looked up several different Scoville Bible, study Bible system for one, the new King James, or King James version. Then they all have the Roman numeral three after them. One is the English Standard Version Study Bible, New International Version. I’m learning so much from you and from studying the Bible, but I want to get the best interpretation and Bible to study from.

What is augmented and not revised means? First of all, you don’t want any of those that they’re selling in the Christian bookstore, bookstore because it says that has a number three on there that is a hybrid and it is a watered down scofield and then notice they’re using other translations now other than the King James and the revised standard version the RSV I oftentimes refer to it as the reverse satanic version. It denies the virgin birth that attacks the gospel of Jesus Christ.

It’s been bad from the get-go. It came down from the National Council of Confucian, I mean churches and it is a terrible denial of basic doctrines in the Bible. All these different translations, that’s not even half of it, but the notes in the Scofia Bible have been changed, altered, new ones added to the not even back to so far. We only stock here at Bible and headquarters the 1909 or 1917 editions, and those are the ones that haven’t been corrupted later.

In the 1917 edition copyright ran out, you can have a copyright for 27 years and you can renew it twice. So that’s 54 years. They came up with a new one. We have to go to break. We also have tracks that actually work that really lead people to Christ and we want you to obviously get those tracks and use them because they’re so good that even by themselves, if a person reads it through can get saved and they are printed on a high quality, high glossy paper where people are reluctant to throw them away. So they keep them hang on to them and they might not read it immediately but they might read it later and we have found so many have gotten saved as a result.

I remember I attended a fellow that was in an accident and he was going into shock and I couldn’t really speak to him very much but I took one of those tracks and I put it in his shirt pocket and I said read this. Anyway, the ambulance took him away and three weeks later I get a knock on my door and he said I want to thank you for putting that track in my pocket. He read it and got saved.

Isn’t that amazing? You know, it is amazing. And what an encouragement to me. I didn’t know whether anything would come of that piece of paper. I slipped in his pocket as they took him away in the ambulance. But he read it later. He was never thankful enough to come back and knock on my door and thank me for leading him to Christ by giving him that track. Why don’t you call and order some of these things. And we have this Go-Field Bible that we’re discussing right now and we have the older additions which are the ones that are not tampered with. And the later ones came out as a result of the fact that they wanted to carry the market and had the exclusive copyright. So they came out with the news go feel and then they came out with these other ones. They now have this hybrid which is number three on it. And you really don’t want those because the old notes that were so, so clear.

So potent, so powerful, have been watered down whether just like a wet dish rag, they just don’t do much. And let me encourage you to get the right one. And I have this pappin’ all the time. People race out to the bookstore, and they don’t even stock the old ones anymore. So you won’t be able to get the one you need to get. So if you go to your Christian bookstore, you can forget it. You’re gonna get the wrong skillful.

I guarantee you every time. In any case, we’re glad to be with you today. Thanks again. We’re talking with Linda in the need in Florida and she’s discussing with us the old Schofield Bible versus the one that she sees in the bookstore. You really don’t want to get the new ones. They have just watered it down. And they have to. To get a new copyright, you have to change whatever you had by 10%.

So that’s why they mess up the notes. And that’s why they mess with everything in the Bible. And that’s why these new translations are not reliable, because they are required to get a copyright to change everything by 10%. That’s a lot of change. And no one of those such differences in the translations And in order to have their exclusive copyright, they have to do that. So that’s a shame that the system is causing us to lose a very good, accurate Bible in the Scofield with the notes, which were so powerful in the first and second editions are watered down now where they’re just very limp and hardly saying anything.

So Linda, I hope that helps a little bit in that explanation of what’s going on. It does very well. Can you just explain to me in the Davidic Covenant that I was reading in the study notes in one of the Bibles there at the bookstore? It said perpa to a take. Can you explain that word? I don’t know what they mean, but I think it means it’s about its continuance, and it’s what do they say in the note? We’ve talked about the House of David and of God, the Davidic Covenant in the promise of a Kingly line in perpetuity through the Davidic Covenant, 2 Samuel 7 16.

In other words, it’s going to continue on to be fulfilled literally in Christ when He comes back. The Schilthon note is very good in telling us that these promises to David, which by the way, most of you are denominational churches are prenourished and denial of this, they believe that the church has been replaced by, or rather Israel has been replaced by the church and these promises to David and to Israel will not be fulfilled. But we believe that Jesus will come and he will sit on the throne of David ruling over the house of Israel just like Gabriel told Mary about him and how the Old Testament prophets were told that these things are going to take place, that they will be literally fulfilled in the future.

I think that’s what it’s talking about. In the back of the Bible, the Spassio Number 3, it had the map. I’m referring to map 6 where it said Central Palestine in Old Testament times. And according to where the map is in the grid, it was 3 and 4 XY, there was Israel and then grid 5 XY is Judah. Are we Judah? No, we’re not. Judah is the southern two tribes which were called Judah and Israel were the northern two tribes that were called Israel.

So the document, the nation of Israel really got divided into the southern tribes which were Judah and Benjamin and then the northern tribes which were ten more of the twelve tribes that settled north of Judea. And so that’s all that is. You mentioned the other day the link that is being connected today for the Jews is that the eyes of their understanding would be open. I understand that the Executive Director of Jews for Jesus is in Israel now on a four-week campaign and they are coming in droves and their eyes are being opened.

They’re claiming that they never understood that Yeshua Messiah were one in the same. Can you explain vineyard versus Jews for Jesus? I don’t know what vineyard is, no. But I know that there are many Jews right now coming to Christ, but I think it’s an anticipation of this change-up where God is going to use Israel again as his witnessing nation and that after the rapture there will be millions of Jews that will come to know Christ the Savior, may be by seed sown now through Jewish people who are becoming believers and also by us that are preaching right now on Bible and radio and through our personal witnesses and so on.

But the Jews that are saved now are going to leave with us at the Rapture and they will not be here during the Tribulation period. So the Jews that can become saved in the Tribulation period are saved after the Rapture and will become the ones that if they survive till the end will be the subject of a kingdom that christ will establish thank you so much for the and we are to move our next goal we have and in sereso to for the and the welcome to buy one you are on the air and you’re welcome at my point go for your own ear okay i i uh…

i just wanted to uh… thank you for the uh… you can even one of my own I meet people and I minister to people. I get real confused about salvation. I just think that if people would understand that it’s through your failing and your weakness that God’s strength is perfect and that’s what that’s for and I just want to thank you for that. My question was, we immediately go up the head. Absolutely. 2 Corinthians 5.8 says it is clear you’ll get it.

Absent from the body, present with the Lord in heaven right now and if you die as a believer, You’ll be absent this body, you’ll be present with Lord in heaven, you’ll get your new body when Christ returns at the event of the Rapture, but you’ll be present soul and spirit with the Lord immediately upon death. And where do I look for that? Is that Luke? Second CorinthiansSeveral. Okay. Second Corinthians 58. And there are othersedience. Paul talked about Philippians how he had a desire to depart and be with Christ.

So he was talking about death. And as soon as he would depart he’d be immediately present with Christ. That’s Philippians 1, 23 and other verses. So the believer this side of Calvary upon death are immediately present with the Lord. After the body. of the Lord, 2 Corinthians 5-8. Okay, and this person I was talking to, she brought up the Left Behind series and I understand I had read the first book way back and I understand that the left behind series isn’t totally accurate.

I was wondering why I’m not sure about the pre-tribulation and post-tribulation. Are those theories or that? No, they didn’t mean pretty much that in stone because I know you guys haven’t mentioned it before. Yeah, we’re forgetting. We’re not going to go through the tribulation period at all. Obviously the next event on God’s program is the Rapture. It says in 1st uslones 110, we’re to wait for his son from heaven. If the tribulation period were 1st, you would have to say, and wait for tribulation, then Christ will come.

says, wait for his son who’s going to deliver us from the wrath of the tribulation period that will follow. So it’s pretty clear in the Bible that we’re going to be delivered from and be caught out before the tribulation period comes on the earth. So they’re pretty tripped. Yeah. Okay. Well, thank you very much. All right. Pre-trib meaning prior to the tribulation period, the church, the body of Christ is caught out to be with the Lord. So that’s where we stand as well.

We’re going to go now to Loretta in the land Florida. Loretta, welcome to Bibleline. Good morning. I was just calling. I had called you once before about my aunt, the Catholic. She sent me something, a liturgy, the order of the Mass. When I read this, it is about Florida. But it says, the mission of I guess the church is that just as she accompanied the apostle in the early stages of the church, May the blessed Virgin Mary star of our eventfulization and queen of a positive power guide missionary throughout the world with maternal affection.

It’s amazing, but that is totally made up and vetted. It’s a fantasy because Mary doesn’t guide anybody anywhere. Mary was a wonderful woman, then she was the mother of the flesh that God took upon himself. The Lord Jesus Christ, but she has no special powers, and she is not answering prayers, and she is not guiding anybody anywhere. She’s in the same category as everyone who is who dies and is a believer and goes to be with the Lord. But the Catholic Church has made her out to be bigger than life, and almost a member of the Godhead as she can hear and answer petitions and do all these other things.

And I don’t know why they don’t think about Jesus guiding them, but they always take Mary to give her that position. I know that, but see what happened too is I tried to point after her that, you know, I do did that, she was blessed amongst women, you know, and that she was chosen to, you know, give birth to the Lord, but she also after she had Jesus had other children. The way that was, I knew that it was in the scriptures, but I can remember that she’s And he said it was in Matthew 1355.

And then it tells you who the children are that he had, that there were four sons and then it names the daughters, but you know that she wasn’t ever virgin and all that the church tried to portray. And I can’t. And I can’t see how these people are so blinded except that all I can think of is that they’re just not in the Bible. Well, that’s exactly right. They do not read the Bible at all. And so they believe whatever the church teaches them and they take it as being truth.

And obviously, if they read the Bible, they would find there’s a problem here because it doesn’t match up. Right. I wasn’t raised Catholic, but as I said earlier today’s show that when I saw not of works, I said somebody’s wrong either my church is wrong or the Bible is wrong and I chose the Bible, but They just aren’t exposed to the Bible at all so they don’t realize that what they’re hearing is not right I just feel so sorry for people that are being led down the path to hell and just don’t even know it.

Exactly. We need to pray for her. Mary can’t help her into heaven But there are those who pray to her for forgiveness and everything else and she is not able to do that Well, thank you. You’re very welcome and thank you. My husband just wrote a rewamping letter with all the scriptures. You know how to say it. So I’m thankful for that, because I wasn’t able to do it, but he did it. Amen. That’s going to be in the mail today.

I love to point out what Peter had to say. And Peter said next, 412, neither speaking about Christ, neither is their salvation in any other, for there’s none of the name under heaven given among men were by we must be saved. So Jesus is the only one in whom their salvation in the world. And if you try to get to heaven any other way, you’re not going to make it. And isn’t it in 2 Timothy 2, 5, where it says there’s one mediator between God and man, the man, Christ Jesus?

Exactly. So I mean, it’s just baffling to me. Of course, when you know the Scriptures, which I don’t know all the Scriptures, I know enough, you know, that I know who Jesus is and that he’s my mediator. So I came out of Catholicism. I came out of Catholicism and I’m so thankful that I have trusted Christ. Amen. That’s wonderful. Thank you Loretta. Okay, good talking to you. Bye bye now. We have now, let’s see here, Adam in Tampa, Florida.

Adam, welcome to Bibleline you are on the air. My question comes from chapter 2 of Acts where up here stands up and he says that it was uttered through the proper jewel. That’s not a fulfilled prophecy. Is that like a touchdown prophecy? Yes. It is the same Holy Spirit that Joel spoke about as the Holy Spirit given at Pentecost, but it wasn’t the fulfillment of that passage. passage. Peter says in Acts 2, this is not which is spoken, but he doesn’t say this is fulfilled which Joel spoke.

And many times the passage is fulfilled and then it tells you that in the just food, but this is not that. If you read Joel, it tells us that it would be afterward, and if you read the afterward that you see Russia destroyed the Battle of Armageddon, you see Christ already back ruling over the earth in Jerusalem over Israel. That none of that has happened. And it says after that, then he’ll pour out his spirit upon all flesh. And that has never happened because everybody doesn’t have the Holy Spirit right now.

I wish everybody did, but they’re not saved. They’re only the same to have the Holy Spirit. And one day when Christ returns, he’ll slay every unbeliever. And everybody left will be believers. And he’ll pour out his spirit then upon all flesh. Everybody on the earth will have the Holy Spirit as the Millennium begins because there will only be believers who will survive. So you just made a way. You’re identifying that the promise that was made to Israel, of the Holy Spirit, is now the same Holy Spirit now given to the Gentiles in this church age that began at Pentecost.

So this was a little bit of information here for the Jewish audience there, that what was happening there was God blessing the Gentile now with the same Holy Spirit that was promised to Israel that will still take place at the Second Coming. thirty six and then it says what shall we do and then he tells them that obviously the message was powerful the word of God I think all by itself obviously the Holy Spirit is the author of the scripture but it tells us it’s in Hebrews 4 12 that it’s living in sharper than any two-edged sword piercing a sundae between the soul and the spirit and dividing between the joints of the morrow and as a discernment of the thoughts and the intense of the heart.

Peter, if you notice a quote scripture throughout and the Word of God is powerful and it cut them right to the heart and obviously they were convicted and the Holy Spirit I’m sure was involved in all that and as a result he told him what to do, change your mind repent and be cleansed or washed in the name of the Lord Jesus and you’re going to have your sins forgiven and you’ll receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. So with that back to the light there isn’t water that is not water at all.

Okay, so then if we go over to Acts chapter 10 in chapter 10 and verse 44 He says he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus what he said Right in other words they had already received the Holy Spirit first Before being water baptized so there were cleanse of their sin washed the word baptize means the cleanser to wash They were washed when they believed verse 43 verse 44. They received the Holy Spirit verse 47 Peter says now Now we can baptize them and they were baptized verse 48 in water after they had already been baptized with Holy Spirit and received the Holy Spirit into their life at the moment of belief.

Okay I just want to make this clear. So when they were water baptized, you’re telling me that they were water baptized? No, I’m saying that they were baptized after they had received the Holy Spirit with water. And that is clearly verse 40, it’s 7 to 48 are water. And they had already received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the cleansing the washing in his name by believing verse 43 they believed and while they were still preaching and they believed that they received the Holy Spirit instantly.

So that happens that cleansing occurs automatically when you believe. When you believe you’re washed of your sin, you’re cleansed of your sin. It’s in the authority that Christ gave that through His said blood, your sins would be washed away if you only trust them as your Savior. But then water follows. We just have guys of a bunch of people this past Sunday and it’s always a joy to see believers give testimony to the fact that they were cleansed of their sin by the blood of Christ, but the water is merely symbolic in showing the cleansing that they had already received.

Thank you very much. You’re very welcome. And you read on in chapter 11 and it really does a great job of giving clarity to what you’re reading about there in chapter 10 of Acts. So I would recommend you carefully read the following chapter which is like almost a rehearsal and a commentary on the events that took place in the previous chapter. So check that out, especially verse 15 to the end or 15 through 18 of chapter 11. We’re now going to Olivia.

And I’m like the saying, if I had wings, I’d fly over the sample. Well, it’s not great. I do drive but I’m 84 years old. Oh man. Oh yes, and I would then try to drive over there. I would love to come. But what I want to ask you is this.

I heard a task to say that we are not to have a problem in prayer. Say that prayer was given to these apostles. And if we say that prayer, we are not Christians. He said, the question is because Christ had not been closer back when he told him to say that. Well, that’s misleading. The prayer is really a prayer about the future kingdom that God is offering to Israel. And so, therefore, it’s really not for now. It says, our Father would start in heaven and hell would be by name, thy kingdom come.

Now, the kingdom is what will occur seven years after we leave at the Rapture. And it says, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. hasn’t happened yet but will happen during the millennium when actually the believers you and I will come back with Christ seven years after the rapture and rule and reign with him and the heavens will be ruling over the earth and the earth will be at peace and things will be done on earth as they are in heaven that hasn’t happened yet but that prayer is a wonderful prayer but it’s not really to be prayed for now but it’s not because of the reasons that pastor gave you.

That’s what he said. He said that we are not Christians because Christ had been crucified and we are not before the Sabbath prayer. Well, that’s misleading. Everybody who is a believer is a Christian and the prayer is addressed to our Father. Now you can’t pray to God as your Father unless you have been born again. And when you are born again, you are born into God’s family and God becomes your Father and you become his son or daughter at the moment of belief.

But if you’re an unbeliever, God is your creator and you’re his creation. But God is not your father to tell you’re born again. So it’s talking to people who are born again and only they can legitimately address God as their father. Okay. Well, I’m recent with John the Church. But I haven’t been fellowshiped in church. Yeah. But for some reason, when I go there, I don’t have a picture of preaching about God. You know about how you can be saved.

I never hear any of that. And they always seem to be engaging other things. And I don’t know for sure whether I should be so a ship in there. I think you’re in the wrong church. If you’re not preaching about Jesus and about the word and about… Yeah, right. You don’t say anything about the word. I mean, I don’t know. It seems to me that most of the churches here are doing things that are out there in the world.

Instead of doing things that God tells them that, you know, they have to do. And that’s a shame. And that’s what we were talking about yesterday about how that in the last days they would not want to hear the word of God. They would want to have their ears tickled and they’d talk about everything but. That’s right. And then the people who want to be happy, they don’t want to hear about the other things that we really should know, you know.

Exactly. I don’t know so that now I’ve been going but I don’t go that off and get to everyone for a while Well find somebody young who has a nice car and get him to drive you over here to us And I’m clean I don’t know I don’t think he said but I can’t get him to do anything that dad He doesn’t believe it’s faster. He doesn’t believe that I think what you got to believe can you know? You know, yeah, I don’t know.

Anyway, you can bring nobody because he got a van out of car. Oh boy, well… Oh yes, he’s a retired teacher. Well, you could bring a whole load then. Well, I wish that could come over to the police. He has a computer, but I don’t know anything about computer. And at my age, I think we’re two old. Well, I don’t know about that. Anyway, I’ve got to run. But Olivia, God bless you.
