We’re living in a time when we’re experiencing a lack of Bible. It seems like churches have turned the spigot off where the Bible is not really being taught anymore. And I know that that’s kind of a scary thing as we find that the Word of God is becoming more and more scarce. Let’s take a look at the Bible and we find in the Prophet Amos in the Old Testament. It says in verse 11, Behold the days come, sayeth the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land.

Not a famine of bread, nor a famine for thirst of water, but of hearing the words of the Lord. I think we’re entering into that famine, and I think it’s only going to get worse, and in the tribulation period it’ll be very difficult to hear the word of God. Let me quote that again. Amos 811, and the speaking of the last days here on the planet, and it says, behold the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord.”

Wow! So we find here that it will be more difficult. And I think it’s happening, and it’s amazing to me that preachers have failed to follow the charge that God has given to them. Let me just review that charge with you if you might, and you might want to look at it with me in 2 Timothy chapter 4. We find here is the charge given to every pastor, every preacher. It says in verse 1 of 2 Timothy chapter 4, I charge thee therefore, before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead, at his appearing and his kingdom.

Well, Christ is the judge and he will come back and judge when he comes back and it says here he will judge the quick and the dead. What’s that talking about? Well quick is an old English word. It means those that are living. So he is talking about he will judge the living and those that have died at his appearing. This is talking about the rapture. This is talking about the judgment of Christ. This is talking about Christ evaluating believers.

We’re going to have to give an account. This is written in the charges here to believers. I charge you, therefore, before God in the Lord Jesus Christ, who is going to judge the living that is those that are caught up at the rapture to meet the Lord in the air, and those that have already died who are believers that will be given their resurrection bodies at that point in time when Christ returns. And it says, notice it’s at his appearing.

So we find here that Jesus is the judge and he’s going to have us accountable. Verse 2, what are we going to be judge concerning? Well number 1 here, preach the word. Preach the word. Preach the word. Amazingly, the word of God is like a scarce thing to find anymore. The famine is here. And it says, preach the word. This is the charge to every believer. Be instant into season, out of season. In other words, there is no special season for the preaching of the word of God.

It should be in season, out of season, even when people don’t want to hear it. God says it needs to be preached. Reprove. Rebuke. Exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. And it says why? There’s three, and here we have it, and this is what we’re living now, seeing, for the time will come. I believe it has come. This is 2 Timothy 4.3. For the time will come, I believe it has come, when they will not endure sound doctrine.

They will not endure it. What it means is they will not want to hear sound doctrine. They won’t endure it. They won’t put up with it. But after their own lusts, they’ll heap to themselves, teachers having itching ears. They want to have their ears tickled. They want to hear what they want to hear and not what the Bible has to say. In verse 4, they’ll turn away their ears from the truth and shall be turned unto fables. That’s right.

Amazing, isn’t it? It says the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine. We’re living now in that particular time in history. And we find more than ever people are wanting to be entertained. They really aren’t concerned about what kind of message is being given, they just want to be entertained. And look at how entertainment is taken over in the worship services today. You don’t read anything in the book of Acts in the early Church of Praise and Worship.

Nothing! It doesn’t say that they came together for praise and worship. It says they came together together in Acts chapter 2 after the preaching of Peter at Pentecost, it says for the Apostles doctrine. They came to learn the Word of God. What has happened today? What has happened today? Because obviously this is not what is happening today. We are living in a time when they are not enduring the teaching of sound doctrine, but They are actually heaping to themselves teachers when their ears to be tickled and they’re turning away their ears from the truth and are being turned unto fables.

Well this is something that’s not new. The Word of God has warned about this time and how that we are experiencing it right now. I was raised in church. I was confirmed. I was baptized. I was homogenized, pasteurized, capsized, and went through every process my church had to offer, but yet I was never, never saved. And that’s sad, and when I finally got saved at age 18, I wondered, how could this happen? How could I go through 18 years of church and never hear the truth about how…

Well, obviously that is typical of this time in which we’re living in. And we are more and more seeing that today as we find the Word of God is not being preached. The Old Testament foretold also this time of spiritual famine, and we just read about it from Amos 8 verse 11. A famine would come and it would not be for bread nor for a thirst for water but for the hearing of the Word of God. That’s the kind of time we’re living in now.

And you know, maybe you’re hearing today the Word of God and if you have been searching, my friend God will make sure that you hear the gospel message before you die. And maybe you’re hearing it today for the first time. the message of the death, the burial, the resurrection of Christ, and when you trust that Jesus died for your sins and paid for them in full by his death and shed blood was buried and then rose again from the dead, God says that he saved you.

It’s a wonderful gift and there’s nothing that we can do. He did it all. He paid it all and obviously The moment you trust Christ according to the Bible, you receive this wonderful gift of eternal life. Most people think that you have to wait until after you die to find out whether you have eternal life or not. And that of course is because they have heard a false message all their life and they’re coming on their works and because their works haven’t all been completed and done and they have to wait until those works are waiting in some great big scale one day.

They have to wait until after they die till all the works are in and they can weigh them all and Calculate whether you deserve to make heaven or not. That’s not what the Bible teaches The Bible teaches our sins were paid for 2,000 years ago at the cross in full and because they’re fully paid for You can receive at the moment you believe ever lasting life Because it’s already paid for your salvation has been purchased God is offering it to you as a gift.

And if you simply receive it by faith, by trusting that Jesus Christ died for you, God saved you. Some of you said that faith is the hand that reaches out and takes the gift from God’s hand. God is offering eternal life for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. Now you could have everlasting life if you would only place your trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior.

Would you do that right now? Just whisper the prayer, Lord, I’m a sinner, I don’t understand much. But right now I trust Jesus Christ as the one who died and paid for my sins at the cross of Calvary and I receive right now that wonderful gift by trusting that Jesus Christ died to pay for my sins and wishes to offer me eternal life by simply trusting him. I hope you’ve done it. It’s the most important decision you’ll ever make in your life.

I’m Dr. Hincklister Mann. This is Bible Life and we’re excited about being with you today and I hope you will tell your friends about this program. I want to take just a minute to announce something new on our website if you go to BibleLineMinistries.org click on Bible Eye News on that home page. You’ll find a link there that’ll take you to our music division as we’ve just added this and we announced it yesterday for the first time and that is we have some CDs of children’s music and you can write there on the internet listen to and sample this music you can put your child’s name grandchild’s name nephew niece that name in there and and listen to samples of each of the songs on each of these six different CDs.

And if you purchase one of these, your child or grandchild or nephew nieces name will be repeated about 40 to 45 times, and I’m telling you it is a powerful, powerful impact. If you want to impact your children, grandchildren, nephews, and nieces for Christ, this is extremely powerful. I’ve watched this with my 30-month-old granddaughter, and she just stops in her tracks when on the CV she hears her name called out. The CD tells her that she is special because God made her special and that God loves her and that Jesus died for her.

This is powerful. I hope you’ll check it out. Go to my website, Bibleline Ministries. Go to the homepage. Click on Bibleline News and you’ll find the link there to our Bibleline music. or you can go directly to the website for that. It’s Bible-ign-music-for-children.org. Bible-ign-music-for-children.org and it is really a powerful tool. You’ll be able to put your child’s name on the CD and you’ll be able to give them some sort of a message like I love you or Happy Birthday or Merry Christmas or whatever the occasion is and then you can sign off with your name or just that your grandma or grandpa or mom and dad or uncle or aunt or whoever it’s from and I think you’re gonna find this is wonderful and I’m excited and we’re gonna add some more as we approach Christmas with Christmas songs that will tell your children about

Jesus and hopefully will be a wonderful aid to you in leading these boys and to Christ. Give it out a shot and I hope you will. The phone number here at Bible N, if you want to call in, is 1-800-576-3771, 1-800-576-3771. And we want you to call in 1-800-576-3771. Alright, we have some off-air questions. I want to take a few of those right up front here and we have Magda from Tampa and Magda calls in and leads this offer a question.

What does the Bible say about displaying religious symbols such as crosses or pictures of Christ? Think you have to be very careful because the pen commandments teach that you’re not to make any graven image or any likeness of anything in heaven above or on the earth or in the things beneath the earth. So these became become objects of worship. And personally, the pictures of Christ are generally all wrong because they have a long-haired Jesus. I believe Jesus had short hair.

If you will take a look, Magna, at 1st Corinthians 1114, it says, does not even nature itself teach you that it is a shame for a man to have long hair. And so the Bible teaches that women should have longer hair than men and men should have short hair. Now, in the time of Christ, we have sculptures of that time and of the hairstyles. We don’t have any photographs. Cameras weren’t around. But we do have the sculptures and guess what?

The Romans all had short hair. That was the world empire, the time of Christ. And you’ll notice the statues of the Romans. Here was off the ears, off the neck short. The Caesar cut was come straight forward short bangs and that was the hairstyle of the time. I believe had Christ had the same kind of hair. That’s the reason why. Judas, I had to betray him. Why did they have to pay Judas 30 pieces of silver to betray Christ?

If all they had to do was to say go get the guy with a long hair and cuff him and bring him in because obviously if he was the only one with long hair, he’s easily able to get him. But Judas had to walk right on over and he had to go right up to him and embrace him and kiss him to betray him. I believe Christ did not violate his scripture. Now some say, well, he had taken a Nazareth bow.

That’s not true. He was called a Nazarene because he was raised in Nazareth, but he never took a Nazareth bow. right now, he couldn’t drink wine, which he did. If he took an Az right bow, he couldn’t touch his head body, which he did. And so there are many things that prove to us that Jesus had not taken an Az right bow, which would mean that he wouldn’t cut his hair. But Jesus had short hair, and I believe all of these paintings and pictures you have are wrong.

We don’t need any of those things. And if you are a believer, you don’t need any pictures or Any crosses or symbols whatsoever, but if you want to wear a cross around your neck That’s fine, but just remember what it is. It’s not a piece of jewelry It’s a symbol of how Christ was crucified and should remind us of what Christ did at the cross If Christ were killed today Let’s say in an electric chair and guess what people would be wearing little electric chairs around their neck Would you wear an electric chair around your neck on a chain?

Well, that’s really what it’s all about and if you know that you use this opportunity with us, I think that’s great. This is Bible and I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom. The phone number is 1-800-576-3771 and we’re going to go to Robert in Petersburg, Virginia and Robert, welcome to Bibleline. You are on the air. Oh, hi Robert. How you doing? Good morning. My question is, John chapter 1 verse 6, talking about when the angels, I mean the sons of God went before the Lord and Satan went with them, showed up in them with them.

Who are those sons that they are talking about? Well those are probably Job’s children and other believers, they are not angels. The scene takes place on the earth and there was always in the Old Testament times a specific place where God would meet with man. We know that during the wilderness experience God met with them at the tabernacle. And there his presence resided in the holy and holies in the tabernacle. At night you would see a pillar of fire where God’s presence was.

And in the day you’d see a cloud. And when that cloud or that pillar of fire moved, then they were to pack up their tents and follow them. And they followed the Lord throughout the wilderness and his presence was made known to them. where they would come to worship and meet the Lord. Later it was the temple in Jerusalem, and they would come up to the temple every year to worship the Lord. While we find that prior to all of that in the time of Job, which is one of the earliest written books of the Bible, they also had a specific place where they’d come to meet the Lord.

These were believers even today in the New Testament it is very clear that the sons of God are believers. Never did God ever call an angel his son, Hebrews 1-5. But we as believers, according to Hebrews chapter 2, are made higher than the angels positionally when we trust Christ and we are called the sons of God. So I hope that helps. These were believers coming before the war to worship him and Satan also came among them. They just take place on Earth or in heaven.

It took place right here on the Earth. And you’re on Earth? Because then I was reading your book, the book that he said, the scene was taking place in the Earth. Yes, it was. So if you could have that in the margin, that’s one of the few times I disagree. Okay. Yeah, could you comment on it, please? I was listening to a preacher and he was talking about Joe and he said that all the reason Joe got sick was because he was afraid not because God allowed Satan to treat him bad but he was gotten that way because he was afraid and didn’t have the faith that he should have had at that particular time.

So that’s what caused Satan to be able to put all these burdens upon him. Well that’s certainly not true and that preacher is not reading his Bible. I’m going to go back and read the passage. very clearly stated there that god that little conversation with satan said satan while you were roaming around the earth did you notice my servant job that there’s none like him he hates evil he loves me and satan says yeah that’s because you put a hedge about him and protect him and if you only take that head away he’ll curse you and so god allowed satan to take away all the satan had and it demonstrated that god knew joe better than satan did and Job was faithful and did not sin even though he lost all his possessions and all of his children were killed.

It says there that Jacob, rather that Job said, they could take my out of my mother’s womb. They could shall return thither. The Lord is given. The Lord is taken away. Blessed be the name of the Lord. Wow. What a great man Job was. But that’s absolutely not true. He’s making up things and that’s the danger today. You have to have your Bible open when you’re listening to anybody. That includes me. Get your Bible open. Make sure that we’re not adding something or changing something or manufacturing something or inventing something.

The Bible is very clear that that’s not true at all. Can I ask you one last question? Go ahead. When they were talking about the ocean. I got to say goodbye to Miami. Miami, we’re so glad they’re heavy on the air every day. I know you’re signing off right now. continue to listen all week and go to my internet site and catch our programs again and again at Bible on ministries dot org rather than back to you go ahead This about one will be taken and one left.

Exactly what does that mean? In 1924 it’s talking about the second coming, not the rapture, is the event seven years later when the ones that are taken are taken in judgment and killed and the ones that are left are left to live in the millennium. And it’s very clear in verse 39 of Matthew 24 that the ones that are taken are taken in the way that the flood took me lost in the days of Noah. It says it It would begin as it was in the days of Noah and it says they were eating and drinking and giving in marriage until the day that the flood came and took them all away.

Social will also be in the day of the coming of the son of Anne. So the flood took the unbelievers away but no one is family the same. We’re left to repopulate the earth. It’ll be the same. As the next verse says, there will be two in the field. The one will be taken in judgment and killed. The other will be left to live in the millennium. Two women will be grinding at the middle. The one will be taken in judgment and killed.

killed, the other will be left to live into the millennium. And so it’s not that the rapture is the second coming. OK, thank you very much. You’re very welcome. And keep listening up there in Richmond, Virginia, or Petersburg, Virginia. And we appreciate your call. We’re going to have to come up and take a break here in just a minute. So let me just say again that we are excited about being with you. And we hope that you’re enjoying. And again, Bibleline is listed, supported.

And we thank God the fact that he’s raised up people just I would like you to enjoy this program and give this program a make it possible. You can give a gift today by calling our 800 number and giving a gift by credit card over the phone or you can call and ask for an envelope to be sent and mail your gift into Bible and I want to thank you to advance all of you give and make this program possible.

God bless you and thank you from the bottom of our hearts as we trust that our partnership will continue and we will be able to reach many people before the award comes back. We’re gonna take that break right now and we’ll come right back and we’ll do part two. So don’t go away. I’m Dr. Engleinsen, we’ll be right back in just a moment. Don’t go away. Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771.

I’m Dr. Engleinsen, it’s great to be with you. Thanks again for tuning in to the Bibleline broadcast. We’re excited about the new part of Bibleline. by blind music for children. We’ve got six wonderful CDs that have some wonderful Christian courses and your children will love them and what is marvelous is you can put your child’s name on this CD and it will be repeated throughout all the songs about 45 times average on each of the six different CDs. And you can also address the CD to your child with their name on the outside and their greeting and from whom it is coming to them.

And you can order it right on Bible lines website. And it will be shipped right out. You can order it and pay for it right by there or right there on the website with your credit card. And it will be shipped right out. And it’s powerful. My granddaughter has been tremendously impacted. And she just stops getting her tracks as soon as she hears that CD come on because it cries out with her name and so she’s learned almost all these courses when I go out with my granddaughter 30 months old she says papa let’s sing one of those songs and we sing and then she’ll see let’s do another and then we’ll sing and she’ll see let’s do another one and she doesn’t seem to ever run out of energy And I finally am tired to sing, but she wants to keep on singing.

It is so powerful, so impacted her. And I’ll ask her, are you special? She said, yes. How do you know? God said I’m special. That’s what these songs will do. And it’s a powerful aid in trying to reach your nephew’s, nieces, children, grandchildren for the war. And I would recommend you go and sample it for free. Just listen, on the website you’ll be able to plug in the name of your child or grandchild or nephew or niece, and you’ll be able to listen to parts of each song and hear what it sounds like and you can place your order right on the internet.

And I hope you’ll do that. Go to BibleLineMinistries.org. On the home page, click on Bibleline News, and there you’ll have the link, click on that and you’ll be able to sample the music and put your child or grandchild’s name in there and order it. I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom and we’re having fun here at Bibleline every day and we thank God for all of you who pray for and give the Bibleline because you’re the ones who keep this program on the year.

If you could give us a gift this month and help us or today call the 800 number and say I’d like to give a gift to Bibleline and God bless you and thank you in advance for doing that. We’re going to be doing the stations that have been on break and do Bibleline Part 2 so I don’t want you to turn that down. Stay right where you are and we’re gonna return in just a minute. Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr.

Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Alright, we’re back from the break and it’s exciting to be with you. We’re coming to you live from Tampa, Florida. This is Bible and I’m Dr. Angel instrument. We are coming to you from our studios here at the Calvary Community Church in Tampa, Florida where I’m the pastor and you’re invited to come by and visit us during the week, visit our resource center.

We had a lot of visitors come by yesterday. What a joy it was to see and meet people who listen to Bible and coming by and they wanted to get some of the resources that we had here and it was just a great time getting to meet people and shake their hands and welcome them and hear their stories about how Bibleline is impacting their lives. Well you’re welcome. We come by too and we’d love to have you come by.

We’ll give you the red carpet treatment. When you come by you can visit our Resource Center. You can come by on a worship day. We’d love to have you and just call if you have any questions about how to get here but we’re right on the west side of the Tampa airport. A block just west of the main North South Runway. Easy to find. So if you get more than a block away from Tampa’s airport, you’re going in the wrong direction.

We’re very close to the airport, easy to find, want you to come by and I hope you will. We’re going to go to the phone lines again and we have John and John is in Houston, Florida. John, welcome to Bibleline you are on the air. Thank you Pastor Hank. Pastor Hank, I know you get a lot of questions concerning speaking in tongues, but actually all that means is speaking in a language that is understandable. If I was to speak to you in a tie-in and you don’t understand a tie-in, you wouldn’t understand what I’m saying.

So actually all it really means is speaking in a known language. Absolutely. You’re right on target. That’s exactly it. And nobody’s doing that today. that’s claiming they’re doing tongues today is speaking of gibberish that’s not understood by anybody not even the one that’s speaking it I spoke to one little lady and she said that she had to give the tongues I said do you understand what you’re saying when you speak in your gift of tongues she says I have no idea she says my little tongue gets going so fast and it feels so good but I have no idea what I’m saying and that’s the counterfeit yeah it’s Satan working But also, you know, in Genesis chapter 11 speaks about what happened at the Tower of Dabble there.

When God came down and confused their language. And you know, it’s come full circle. You know, everything that happened at Babel has now been reversed. Then there was one world government, there was one world religion, there was one universal language and then God scattered them to hinder the decay of the human race as we have seen it to take more time because of separate nations have kept that from happening. But today with the internet, with satellites and television and movies and Hollywood, we have the world connected in such a way that we are going back to the dream of a one-world government, one-world religion, and one universal language, and apparently English is that universal language.

It’s the universal language of the worldwide web, and it’s the universal language for airline pilots. If you fly any type of foreign airline or American airline, you have to speak English or you won’t be able to land. That is required. And it seems like in almost every country now, English is at least studied as a second language. So we’re coming back to the time of the Tower of Babel. And guess what? Babel was in Iraq! And we’re back to Iraq and the nations have their eyes focused there in Iraq and on the Middle East and where the oil is.

And so the Bible says when we go back to Iraq, that’s when Jesus is coming in and I think we’re close. You know, I believe we’re living in the last days. Absolutely. Yes. If I send you a note along with our offering, would you be able to get the note? Absolutely. Thank you very much because I do have a program. There’s nothing better than my questions and answers. Amen. God bless you. And keep looking up. Jesus is coming. Amen.

Thanks. I needed that. Thank you, John. Well, you know, it’s true. And there is a lack of the answer of questions. I had one lady tell me that she had a Bible question and she asked her pastor, he said, submitted in writing and give me eight weeks. She said, I didn’t have eight weeks. She called Bible and got an answer that very morning and wasn’t that exciting. Well, that’s what we attempt to do. We try to give you an answer from God’s Word right now if we can and if we can’t we tell you we can’t we try to do the research and find the answer for you.

We’re going to go now to Jerry and Jerry is in Plant City and Jerry welcome to my room. Yes sir Dr. Hain. I just want to get your thoughts, wind’s being that, services and cons of that going that that way and not. Well I don’t know that I have a real problem except that many times these become splinter groups and divide the congregation rather than bring it together. But as we approach the days of higher gas prices and more difficulty about coming out of the church for all the services, it might be advantageous.

I know the thing that we have is we have now the webcasting of our service and whenever However any of our people cannot come, they can go right to the internet and catch our worship service and we’re also of course able to bring that to the whole 349 world to anybody who would go to BibleLineMinistries.org or would click on that camera on the home page. They’ll be able to get our worship services for a whole year and watch them as often as they like.

But there’s nothing in the Bible that would say pro or con, but it’s much more difficult to know that each of those groups are doctrinally sound and are teaching the same thing, it’s hard to hold them accountable. So that’s the only problem, but otherwise there’s nothing pro-recon in the Bible about that. And the early churches met in homes, they didn’t have any buildings dedicated to their worship services until time went along. Okay, we’re going to try to take another off air question now, if I can.

We’re going to go to Nancy in Utica, New York, and she says, what happens to the souls of babies that die because their mother aborted them? What about aborted babies? Guess what, Nancy? Good news. They all go to heaven. That’s right. They all go to heaven. You know, it tells us in 2 Samuel 12, 23 that David had a child and it was ill for seven days. He prayed for that child’s life and the child died. David said the child will not return to me but all go to be with that child.

And we know David was saved. David said in the 23rd Psalm that the Lord was his shepherd and he said that he would dwell in the house of the Lord forever. And so he’s saying that the child will not return back to the search to David but David said I’m going to go be with that baby one day. So all children that died before the age of accountability whether it be by natural abortion or by unnatural abortion or the actual slaughter of the fetuses.

Those babies will be in heaven and we’ll get to see them one day. I think that’s great news. We now have Joe and Pembert Pines and he leads this off air question. I was reading a Bible comparison pamphlet. It said that the received text came around 1100 AD in Alexandria text instrument 325 AD. this fallin where do these years come from well you know the manuscripts of the New Testament can be traced right on back to the first century and that’s the one if we have a wonderful tradition of Bible manuscripts and you know in the fourth century right it was actually three hundred and I think 16 that Constantine declared the world to be Christian and he asked for manuscripts and dozens and dozens of manuscripts were produced.

And that’s just a little bit after Christianity had begun and there are those manuscript families that take us right back into the life of the early church fathers. In fact, the early church fathers quoted the New Testament so prolifically that if you didn’t have any manuscripts at all, think about this, if you didn’t have any manuscripts at all. Just from the quotations of the Bible of the New Testament by the early church fathers, you can reconstruct the entire New Testament except for just 11 verses.

What do you think about that? So obviously we’ve got a very, very strong textual background and it takes us all the way back to the writings of the actual apostles which are the original manuscripts. So this doesn’t really matter and what we have as a very good Bible has been translated very faithfully and you have to watch out for some of the modern translations today. One of the problems with those is to get a copyright for their publisher, they have to have 10% change or they won’t get a copyright.

So guess what? They get in there and the hack and slice and snip and change and they get their 10% change and then they can get their own copyright. So they’re more interested in getting a copyright, being able to sell the Bible exclusively as theirs than they are about whether they’re giving you a real true rendering of what God actually said in the original manuscripts. That’s why you have to be alert to that, or you’re going to be tricked.

Thank you, Joe. We now have Diane and Palm Harbor, Foreman. She says, in Revelation 12, 7-9, it says there was war in heaven and Satan was cast out of the earth. He didn’t ascend to heaven, as you said, on the radio yesterday. I’m confused. Well, no wonder, Diane, you haven’t read very carefully. This war hasn’t happened yet. In Revelation 12 it happens three and a half years into the tribulation period or three and a half years after the rapture.

So once I leave at the rapture and if you’re a believer and you leave at the rapture, three and a half years later this war will take place. In the word heaven there, there are three different words in the Greek for heaven. And this is the atmospheric heaven around the earth. Right now Satan is called according to Ephesians 2-2, the prince of the power of the air. He controls not only the earth but also the atmosphere around the earth.

In the middle of the tribulation period, Satan loses control of the atmosphere around the earth. He is cast down out of the atmosphere around the earth to the earth and now he is limited in his activities. I believe that is why Jesus at the rapture comes down into the atmosphere and then calls us up to meet him in the air and that’s because we’re going through Satan’s territory and Jesus is going to give all of us as believers safe escort through Satan’s territory when we’re caught up at the event of the rapture.

But you know if you are in modern day warfare and you’re aware of what they do the first thing you want to do is control the airspace. We know that Israel in the six day war just in the first few hours took out the air forces of all the enemies and so they control the airspace and that was really why they could win the war in just six days and of course uh… any war that happens nowadays that’s the first thing we want to do that first go for we came right in and took uh…

to them his sins that uh… airplanes and just took them and destroyed around the runway every got a plane in the air and so uh… that’s the first thing you want to do that you just come in and you can blasting from the air and taking from the ground. Well guess what? Jesus is going to come back and roll the earth. And the seven years of tribulation are really the way how that will be prepared for him to come back.

And the first thing he does, he kicks out the airspace. Michael and his angels fight against Satan and his angels and they lose control of the atmosphere around the earth. And then Satan knows he only has three and a half years left. He turns against Israel. Read the context. This hasn’t happened yet. Israel then will be fleeing for the Antichrist or go to or prepare a place where God has already prepared for them to survive. It’s the Rock City of Petra in Southern Jordan and their God that says will feed them in this place where he will nourish them for the last three and a half years and then Christ comes back and rules and reigns.

No. You are confused because you’re mixing up the passage in Revelation 12 with the judgment of Satan that took place back there in Genesis 1-2. Satan lived on the original earth, was actually judged here on the planet and it remains judged and will ultimately go to hell, but he controls the earth and he’s still called the God of this world from that ancient time. But he’s the prince of the power of the earth and he’ll lose control of the earth.

the air, the atmosphere on the earth and the middle of the tribulation. I hope that helps. Go back and read the context of Revelation 12. It hasn’t happened yet. This is something future. We have done, in New York calls in with this offer a question, please explain turning away from God. Recrucifying Christ. I think you’re probably referring to Hebrews chapter 6 where it talks about those who fall away from God that if they go back and try to become saved again, that they are re-crucifying Him and putting Him to an open shame.

Once you become saved, the one time sacrifice that Christ made was sufficient to save you eternally and so you don’t have to go back and try to become saved again, which would mean you would be crucified in Christ again, which means you’d put Him to an open shame because it’s very clear in Hebrews 10-10 that that one sacrifice of Christ at Calvary was sufficient to take care of all sins for all people for all time and you don’t need another sacrifice.

In fact, in Hebrews 10-14, this is by one sacrifice. Christ has perfected forever those that are sanctified. We have Allen in Troy, New York, and he calls in, leads the software question. He says, please explain the parable of the fig tree in Matthew 24. Well the fig tree is of course talking about the nation Israel. In Matthew 21 it talks about Christ cursing the fig tree on the morning after he had come down the slopes of the Mount of Oz on Palm Sunday.

And it was because Israel had no fruit spiritually they were dead. They rejected the Messiah that had come. So he cursed the fig tree and says, let no fruit grow on thee for an age. And so there will be a whole period of time during which Israel would be spiritually out of God’s favor. And that’s exactly what’s happened. Israel has been scattered among the nations and for 2,000 years have not been in their homeland. And now, according to Matthew 24, the fig tree is beginning to blossom and but again, back in their land and the Bible says that generation would not pass away until Jesus would return.

Here is an interesting thought. Israel is right now, this month, celebrating 60 years since they became an nation again after 2000 years and of course they became an nation in 1948. Now they have already celebrated this year, this month, 60 years of being a nation. Now if you take the length of a generation according to Matthew, sorry excuse me, Psalm chapter 90 verse 10, it’s 70 years. So if you had 70 years to 1948 we’ve got 10 more years it would take us to the second coming.

If you subtract 7 years for the tribulation period it might mean that we’ve got only 3 years left. 3 years left. And maybe less. I mean, we really don’t know, but it’s pretty close, I think, to the time when Christ is going to return. I’m not a date setter. I didn’t say He’s coming back in three years. So for your information though, we’ve got to be close. Israel’s back in the land and that generation that would go back and become a nation again would not pass away, so Christ would return.

We have PJ in done even for it and she writes in with this question, what does the New Testament say about tithing and how much should I give? Well, the New Testament doesn’t say any of it tithing because it is the Old Testament law. Now you’ll find some references in the gospels, but once Pentecost came, we are now in the age of grace and the Old Testament giving unto the law is now done away with. So what do we give?

Well, let me give you a great reference. It says in 2 Corinthians chapter 9 in verse 7, every man according as he purposed up in his heart, so let him give, not grudgingly nor of necessity for God loveth a cheerful giver. So basically you need to purpose in your heart. The more you give, the more you’re investing and the more returning you’re going to have one day in heaven. And you can choose to give 10% if you want to.

That is the tithe. You can choose to give 9%. You can choose to get 11% or as I mentioned yesterday on the year, Mr. Armour or Armour Meat gave 90% he kept only 10% for himself. Of course he did quite well on that 10%. He was a wealthy man but we’re not restricted to a certain amount and we can give from the heart as an expression of our love to the Lord. Read 2 Corinthians 9 and verse 7 is the verse I just gave you.

Okay, we have Joe in New York and Joe calls in and leaves us off our question. What do you think about the Lakeland, Florida revival? I think it’s a counterfeit Christianity. I think it’s going to take you far from the Bible. The signs and wonders of the last days are being done by false preachers. And I believe that’s exactly what I’m saying. exactly what we have there. Read carefully through the lines there but if you investigate Todd Bentley according to what I’ve been reading on the internet he is a convicted child molester in Canada spent 18 months in prison for molesting a seven year old boy.

He has covered his body with tattoos that apparently since his revivals began in 2004. He’s put more tattoos all over him. He has body piercings and things that really the Bible says are wrong. And obviously, his message is not in line with the Bible. And certainly, the healings are, I believe, the false healings of the last days. Signs and wonders, the Bible says according to Jesus in 1924-24, would be done by false preachers in the last days, and many would be deceived.

And I think that’s what we are seeing. We’re now going to go to Rose and Lakeland, Florida, and Rose. Welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Hi. You’re on the arrows. Yes, I know. Hello, Pastor. Hi. Yes, I have a question. I was just reading in Samuel 1st, 20, chapter verses. About slowly working. About, about the year two had Samuel resurrected. Now, I thought that a Christian. And how did the spirit come up? What spirit is this? It came up.

came out this this is a minute all the believers the old testament including samuel went into the heart of the earth into what is called paradise and there they are waited christa down the cross of calvary when he emptied out paradise and took it all up to heaven and so here in the which of indoor uh… uh… calls up samuel and he comes right out of the heart of the earth and the which of indoor had never seen that happened before this was a rare exception and she freaks out she starts screaming buddy murder and uh…

of course all recognizes samuel and samuel uh… talks to soles and look tomorrow you’re gonna die and you’re gonna join me that tells us that soles saved because he would die in battle the next day against the first things and the sol would join samuel who’s clearly saved the profit of god in uh… paradise in the heart of the earth and so That’s where Saul went the next day along with his two sons as all three of them were killed in the battle against the First Kings next day.

So the soul does not sleep. The soul is awake. Now the body is spoken of his sleeping till the resurrection. But upon death, if you read Luke 16 beginning in verse 19 to the end, there are two men that die and they’re very conscious after death. The one is in Flaming torment. in the heart of the earth. The others in a place of comfort in paradise in the heart of the earth, and they have conscious memory. They’re able to converse.

They know exactly what’s going on around them. And that’s what happened here with Samuel as well. And he was caught back up to talk to Saul and tell him how he’s going to join Samuel in the next day in paradise. Well, I’ve always heard that when a Christian died, he’s peace. That’s true now, this side of the cross. In the Old Testament, that was not true. If you were in the Old Testament age, because sin had not yet been paid for, you were absent from the body and present in paradise as a believer.

Just like the dying people on the cross, Jesus said, today, that I’ll show you with me in paradise. And he also had said he would be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. But on the third day, Christ took paradise out of the heart of the earth, removed it to heaven. Now this side of the cross, when we die, we are absolutely the body present with the Lord. Thank you so much for clearing it out for me.

Have a good day. You too now Rose. Thank you so much for calling in. We are out of time again. The time just flies here at Bibleline and we’re having fun. I hope you’re having fun listening. Click on Bibleline news and you’ll click on that link and you’ll be able to sample six different CDs with lots of children.

children’s music, 10 to 12 different songs. And you’ll be able to put your child or grandchild in F.U. and Lisa’s name in there, sample it, and order, and your child’s name will be repeated about 45 times average on one of those CDs. And I know it’s working with my grandchild. She just stops in her tracks and has memorized almost all these songs at just 30 months of age. It’s a great tool to win your grandchildren, your children, your nephews and nieces, the Christ.

I would recommend you go and take a look and sample it for yourself. BibleLineMinistries.org, you click on the link that you get when you go to Bible Mindnows on the homepage.
