It will be in the heart of the state of Florida, and we will have a lot of Bible. Chances are, if your teen is unsaved, they will get saved. And if they are saved, they will get a new direction. Hopefully they will choose the Live Their Life for Christ, no matter what God has for them as a vocation.

and they would live for Jesus Christ as they’ll be taught that. Well, I hope that you’ll give us a call. If you have a teen, you want to get them in the camp. There’s a couple more openings left. We’d love to have you call us and we’ll get them on board with us. We’ll have a great time. All right, if you have any questions, you can call in and leave your question off here, or you can call and go live on the air with us.

The number is 1-800-576-3771. 1-800-576-3771. Let me have you open your Bible with me. We’re going to turn to the prophet Hosea in the Old Testament. This is written about 800 years BC, 2800 years ago. And what an amazing passage this is in Hosea chapter 3. I’m going to begin with verse 4, rather, where it says, for the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king. It’s interesting that Israel, when her king came, Jesus Christ, the wise men said, where is he that is born king of the Jews?

They knew more than the Jews did about what was going on because they were studying the Bible and they saw this star that they believed really fulfilled the prophecy back in the book of numbers about a star related to the Messiah. And they made the long journey and they came and they said, where is he that is born king of the Jews? And of course Jesus grew up, became a man and went to the cross, he was rejected by Israel.

And so the Bible says that the king would return back to heaven and Israel would abide many days without a king. I believe Hosea 3, 4 is a prophecy about the fact that the many days would be about a a two thousand year interval between the first coming and the second coming and that Israel would not have a king. Do you know they do not have a king at this very hour? They have a prime minister, they have a president, but they don’t have a king and the Bible predicted they would abide many days, two thousand years in fact, without a king.

And then it says here, without a prince, they don’t have an heir to the Jewish throne. In order to be heir to the Jewish throne, you’d have to be able to prove your lineage back to King David. And guess what? All the genealogical records were destroyed in 8070 by the Romans when they came and destroyed Jerusalem and the temple. And so there’s no record except for Jesus. Guess what? His genealogical record is preserved in the Bible. You see it in Matthew chapter 1.

You see it in Luke chapter 3. And so there is a prince, but he is Jesus. You know, in Isaiah 9-6 it said, his name would be called Wonderful Counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince, the Prince of Peace. Jesus Christ is the Prince and He’s coming and He will be King of Israel during a thousand year reign when He comes and sets up His Kingdom. The King came with rejected and now Israel has been two thousand years without a King, Just like Hosea predicted, isn’t it amazing?

This is no coincidence. This is God telling the future before it ever happens. Next it says here, and I’m in Hosea chapter 3, verse 4. It says they would be without a sacrifice. Are you aware of the fact that the Jewish people have not offered a blood sacrifice for 2,000 years? That’s right. In 8070, when the temple was destroyed by the Romans under general Titus, they stopped offering sacrifices because that’s the only legitimate place where they could offer their sacrifice.

And so they haven’t offered a sacrifice for 2,000 years and that is amazing. If you read your Old Testament, you start off writing the book of Genesis and you have Cain and Abel and they both bring a sacrifice. And throughout the Old Testament, sacrifice, sacrifice, sacrifice, sacrifice, sacrifice, that’s all you read about. And guess what? Here the prophet Ozea, 800 years plus before the sacrifices stopped, predicted that Israel would be many days without a king, without a prince, and without a sacrifice.

Incredible. Are you getting goosebumps on your arms? I get excited because I know the Bible is the word of God and the reason why I know it’s the word of God is it tells the future before it happens and it never misses. Where is it wrong here? They haven’t had a king for 2,000 years. They haven’t had a prince for 2,000 years. They haven’t had a sacrifice for 2,000 years. It goes on to say here that they would not have images and Israel was a a nation full of images and idols What happened when they came out of Egypt Moses goes up in Mount Sinai and boy they got antsy They couldn’t stand still and they said Aaron Aaron Oh Aaron the brother of Moses make us a God and they gave him gold and all their jewels And he melted that and made a golden calf remember that they worshiped that golden

idle. Well, down through history, Israel has been guilty of making idols and worshiping these idols. Read your Old Testament, it’s everywhere, everywhere you look. And yet the Bible said they would be without images. For the past 2000 years, they have been clean. I have attended many synagogues, Orthodox and conservative and reform. And you know, without images. You will walk in and you will look around and you will not find an image of anybody in the synagogue. They just do not do it.

And the Bible predicted that, and yet this was not characteristic of Israel. They were full of images. And here the Bible said they would not have any more images. Here’s another one in this is Hosea chapter 3 verse For it says they would be without an ephod. The ephod was the garment of the priesthood Guess what it’s saying they wouldn’t have any priests Israel does not have any priests They have rabbis the word Ramon means teacher, but they don’t have any priests There is you can’t go to the semicolon say let me I’d like to talk to the priest and they will look at you kind of strange Because they don’t have any priests The Bible predicted they would be without a king, they would be without a prince, they would be without a sacrifice, they would be without images, and they would guess what?

Not have their priesthood. The priesthood is not around today. I don’t know about you, but this is obviously pretty convincing. And then it says in verse 5, afterward shall the children of Israel return. They have returned to the land and just last month they celebrated 60 years of being a nation in the land. Wow! We’re living at the end of this prophecy where it says afterward, the children of Israel shall return and seek the Lord their God and David their King and they shall fear the Lord and his goodness and it says here in the latter days.

This verse tells us we are in the latter days right now. It defines the latter days as those days when the Jewish people are back after having returned after being scattered around the world for the past 2000 years. The Bible is never wrong, my friend. If you don’t trust Christ as your Savior and you don’t go to hell as a result or a consequence, it will be the first time the Bible is ever wrong. You don’t want to gamble with a book that’s just never wrong.

There’s only one way to go to heaven and that is to trust Jesus Christ as your Savior. There is only one way to heaven Christ is that way. Christ said, I am the way, the truth in the life, and no man comeeth unto the Father, but by me. And unless you trust Christ, you will not see heaven’s streets. That’s right. I’m so glad I’ve trusted Christ to save you. John 3 16 says it all, for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son.

God loved all of mankind, the world. That’s all of mankind. that he gave his son Jesus Christ, God and flesh, that he would die for you and me and shed his blood to pay for our sins, be buried in rhymes again from the dead, that whosoever would believe in him, that word believe means to trust. To rely upon put your confidence in when you trust Jesus Christ as your Savior, the Bible People said you would not perish, but you would have everlasting life.

That’s right, everlasting life. I have everlasting life. I received it when I was 18 when I trusted Jesus Christ as my Savior. You could receive eternal life right now by trusting Christ as your Savior. I just read two emails this morning of people telling me they trusted Jesus Christ by hearing Bible and hearing this explained. Boy, that’s exciting. It certainly motivates me to hear from you guys that are listening, that are getting saved by trusting Jesus as Savior and hearing that message here.

And we’re excited. One guy wrote me and said he was a fan of one of the national broadcasters and listened every day and invited Jesus into his heart every day but was never saved. You see, you don’t get saved by inviting Jesus into your heart. You get saved by trusting in the death and the barrel and the resurrection of Christ. He got saved through Bibleline, but was listening and following the directions of an national broadcaster. So look at how many of them are saying that too.

Inviting Jesus into your heart bypasses the cross, bypasses the blood, bypasses the death barrel direction, and it is something that you must do, and it’s not something that God has done, salvation is something that God has done at the cross. And all we do is receive it. There is no asking, there is no asking Jesus in volunte, and thereaution, there’s not a verse in the Bible that implies that you have to invite Jesus into your heart or into your life.

Thebytes Bible says”],”, or Believe, or Trust, Trust on the Lord Jesus Christ, and also be safe. We’re going to go to the phone lines. It’s 1-800-576-3771. And we have Tina waiting patiently in Newport, Richie. And Tina, we welcome you to the Bible and program. Tina, you’re on the air. Okay. Go ahead. Don’t listen to the radio. You’ll be 20 minutes, Okay. Good morning Pastor. And Hebrew 6. 4-3. Oh, you hear me now. In Hebrew 6, it says the back and the forth verse and to the 6.

It says it’s impossible for those who were once enlightened if they fall away to receive them again to repentance. Could you please explain that? Absolutely. What is saying there, Tina, is that once you’re saved, you’re saved forever. You’re stuck. You have to go to heaven when you like it or not. If you get away from serving the Lord, it says it’s impossible to go back and be saved again. It says it’s impossible for you to be renewed under that repentance change of mind that occurred when you got saved.

If you attempt to become saved again, it says in verse 6, you crucify Christ to yourself, yourself again and put into an open chain. Christ will never be crucified again, but people who try to become saved again once they get away from the Lord are actually doing something that is very blasphemous against Christ. And that is saying that His sacrifice of Calvary two thousand years ago wasn’t sufficient to save them forever. If you read Hebrews chapter 10 and becomes very clear, it says in verse 10, by the will of God we are sanctified, made pure and holy through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Verse 14 says, By one offering He hath perfected forever those that are sanctified. So the Bible is very clear that it was the one time sacrifice of Christ that really saves you forever. If you ever get away from the Lord you need to go back and start serving again but if you attempt to become saved again you’re crucifying Christ to yourself, not going to happen, not going to happen. And that puts Christ to an open shame. It is a blessing against Christ that puts Christ to an open shame to try to say Christ has to be crucified again when He only died once and that one time sacrifice was sufficient to save you forever.

If you notice verse 9 in that passage, it says we’re talking about things that accompany salvation. Verse 10 says, God has done unrighteous to forget your labor of love, talking about rewards, talking about service and the things that accompany salvation. Once you become saved, you don’t go back and become saved again. That’s impossible. That’s impossible. That’s what it’s talking about. But you can get serving again and start earning rewards as God is not going to forget verse 10. Any good work you’ve done, he’s going to reward you in heaven.

Praise the Lord. Thank you. Alright, Tina, thank you so much. was Tina in Newport, Ritchie. We have Jonah. My goodness. I didn’t know he was still around. Jonah, not the one in the whale, I’m sure. All right, Jonah from Tampa. Welcome to Bible on. Hi. You’re on the air. Okay. Yeah, I’m sure you’ve dealt with the quat or you got going on this morning. I was reading along with you. It was very interesting. Thesthenian, Hosea. I just love that passage.

I said, look at this Bible. Wow, it tells the future as though As though it has already happened. Yeah, yeah, I mean I was pretty shocked at it when I was reading it myself. The way you broke it down, I mean it makes it even more. My quest, I don’t really have a question per se. I’m sure you’ve dealt with the good turn me on to any reference they tell me. I don’t really like to argue scriptures with people.

I don’t think that gets anybody anywhere. I’m trying to seek answers for myself and I walk with the Lord and I just need some help basically. Absolutely. Well, first of all, the major point is that they deny the deity of Christ. They do not believe that Jesus is God who took on human flesh. And the Bible says in 1 John 2, 23 whose so ever denyeth the Sun the same half not the Father So I tell Jehovah’s Witnesses you’re Jehovahless Because they deny the Sun.

They don’t have the Father the Father is Jehovah So they don’t their Jehovah’s Witnesses without Jehovah and I oftentimes said would you like to meet a true Jehovah’s Witness and They say yes kind of like what’s going on here, and I extend my hand say shake my hand I’m a true Jehovah’s Witness. I believe in the God of the Bible who said in the Old Testament that he would come and take it on human flesh Isaiah 9 6 said he would be born and take it on flesh and yet his name would be called wonderful Counselor the mighty God catch it the mighty God the everlasting father the prince of peace Isaiah 9 6 So Jesus is God it says in second John verse 9 If you don’t abide in the doctrine of Christ, which they don’t, they reject.

It says you don’t even have God. So they’re godless, they’re Jehovahless, and they’re lost, and they need to know the Lord as their Savior. I like to point out John 824, which they don’t have a good answer for, and John 824, Jesus said, You shall die in your sins, for if you believe not that I am, you shall die in your sins. That is the name that God used when he appeared to Moses at the burning bush in Exodus chapter 3 God said to Moses my name is I am tell the children visual that I am has sent thee unto them and Jesus picks up on that name And he’s saying that if you don’t believe that I’m the same God that appeared to Moses who told Moses that he was the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob Then you’re gonna die in your sins and you’ll wind up in hell

And so those are a couple of good ones and of course the second issue with the witnesses is they’re working their way to heaven and the Bible says salvation is not of works Ephesians 2 8 2 9 and dozens of other verses are really good. I have some things on my website If you have internet access go to dr. Lynch from Zoracles in the right hand bottom corner of the home page and you can click on not only the issues we’ve just talked about, but you can click on how to witness to a Jehovah’s Witness and find that helpful.

What is the website? It’s BibleLineMinistries.org BibleLineMinistries.org. When you get to the home page, you’ll be able to see in the bottom right corner Dr. Lynch from articles. and you can do a search to find it or just type in Joe’s witnesses and you’ll get a lot of stuff on that for my articles I’ve written. Awesome, awesome. Well John I’ve got you found us and thank you for calling in today. I hope that helps a little bit. Yeah that’s very helpful.

Thank you very much. Alright you’re most welcome. We are going to say to Miami, we are so glad to be able to announce to you that we are going to be on the full hour in Miami beginning this coming Monday. Again, I am stepping out on faith, trusting that God will supply. We really could use your help down to Miami to pay for that second half hour. I don’t really have the money, but I am trusting that God will supply because I know that you all down there would appreciate the full hour and I think that in summing to God wants me to do.

So pray for us if you can call and give a gift by credit card over the phone. Boy that would set my mind at ease as we know that we’re going to be responsible to pay for that and we hope that we can continue to give you the full hour down there in Miami. God bless you all and we love you. We’ll be back again for you tomorrow. Miami signs off early and we’re coming back here to Tampa. We We have a fellow named Eric and he’s in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Let’s think about our Pittsburgh station, Eric, welcome to Bibleline. How are you doing, sir? I’m having a real problem and I’m looking in my Bible, but I do find in scripture that in first Timothy, I’m having a problem really dealing with, I feel fake at it, to tell you the truth. They’re dealing with women holding the position of ministering. Well, the Bible is quite clear that they are really not to have those positions. And it really throws things upside down.

If you read 1st Corinthians chapter 11, it tells us 1st Corinthians chapter 11. The 1st three verses talk about an order, a chain of command. And it talks about God, then Christ, and then man, and then woman, and then the children. And when you put the woman above the man, it throws things out of balance, and that really messes up the children because they’re looking to the man as being the spiritual leader, as God had said it up that way.

And when the woman takes the position above the man, then obviously that really throws it all on a whack. When you read 1 Timothy chapter 2 verses 10 through 15, you’ll find that it says there that The reason why women should not usurp authority over the man, that they should not be the teachers, the instructors, the religious leaders, is because the fact that Adam was created first, and then Eve, and also because women are more easily deceived in spiritual matters.

Eric, we’re going to have to go to break if you want to continue with me. You can’t hold over the break, but we’re going to go to break and come back and do a second half hour Bibleline. So keep your radio tuned right where it is, and you can also hear this program right now on the internet as well. But here we go to break. We’ll come right back in just a moment and do a second half hour. Don’t go away.

Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. 1-800-576-3771. All right, I’m Dr. Angelina Linserman. It’s exciting to be with you every day of the week. I’ll tell you what a wonderful way to be able to communicate. And a lot of folks tell me that they listen every day. I get emails from people saying, I listen every day. And I watch your programs on the internet. That’s exciting. And we’re excited about that. And one lady was telling me that she got away, was on a trip, and it couldn’t hear it for a few days.

She said she really missed her fix, if I ask, that every day she needs Bible, to keep her going. And she was missing that desperately. Well, we’re excited about how God is blessing Bible, and using it as a tool to win people to Christ, which we hear about all the time, which is exciting. but also people actually get encouraged to go in and read their Bible for themselves and have confidence that God will unveil to them what the Bible means and that’s what it’s all about.

Tragically, a lot of people have been discouraged about even opening up their Bible at all and we’re encouraging people to go back to the Bible. That’s why I quote so much scripture because I want you to see the answers that are coming from the Bible and not from me. Well, super duper, we’re excited about all of the response we’re getting. And obviously we are extended out as far as we can go and we are listeners supportive. We need your help.

If you are not giving the Bible on, could you help us out? You can call and give a gift right now by credit card or call and ask for an envelope to be sent with our address and we’ll mail that to you and you can mail the gift in the Bible and or you can go to our secure website, Bibleline Ministries and click on the online book store is a place to give there as well. We are so excited about being with you every day and God bless you and thank you for tuning in today and we hope that you’ll take advantage of our website.

We do have so many things there that will be helpful to you and if you would like to visit us you’re welcome to do that. If you’re out of town and we’ll never get to Tampa you can visit us online. Visit Bibleidemindustries.org, click Click on the spinning globe for radio, click on the TV set for television, click on the camera for… The worship services and if you go there at 11 o’clock Sunday morning, you can get our worship service live as We webcast that all over the world at 11 a.m.

Sunday morning if you’ve been this after 11 be patient You’ll see the audio and the video come up on your screen and you’ll be able to watch the program if you go to the archives You’ll get the full years with the sermons for the past year in any case So we’re gonna go back and rejoin stations of it on break into the second half hour Bibleline So keep your radio tuned right where it is and we’ll do that second half hour and we’ll do that right now Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr.

Lindstrom a question you can just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771 Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom Alright, we’re back for a night break and this is Bible and we’re coming to you live from Tampa, Florida from our studios right here at the Calvary Community Church where I’m the pastor and guess what? This Sunday, if you want to choose a Sunday to come by and visit if you’re in the area, this would be a good one. We’re going to have a dinner.

We have a wonderful dinner. Everybody cooks their best home cooked food and we get the samples of the best cooking in all the world. You’re welcome to come. Be my guest. 30, bring your Bible, your appetite, your family, your deputies, invite your neighbors to bring them all. Come here at 1030, join the worship service and stay for lunch, dinner, and be my guest. It’s just, we want you to come. It’ll be fun. It’ll be this Sunday as the third Sunday of the month and we hope that you will.

Also, we have a summer camp for teens starting the 23rd and if you have a teen and would like to see them get under the sound of good Bible teaching. Let me have you just cause and we’ll give you the information and if they’re lost they’ll probably become saved. I guarantee you we have a great success rate and if they are not living for Christ they’re going to be challenged to do so and we have many children that dedicate their lives to serving Christ at these camps.

It’s exciting to see how God uses them. In fact, somebody just told me this morning about a funeral that was held yesterday and the lady had gotten saved one of my camps years ago and was witnessing for Christ right up until the Lord took her. That’s exciting. Not that she has passed on, but that she’s with the Lord and was saved and knew it and had no fear of death because she knew the Lord’s their Savior. So in any case, keep that in mind.

Also we have our resource center. You can call and order anything that we have directly by phone or you can do it on the internet by going to BibleInindustries.org and picking on the online resource center and order directly there. But that Schofield Bible that I talk about is really a valuable tool. I believe that is the best reference Bible out there and the chain in that Bible in the Scofield is accurate. I have other Bibles and one of those is the Thompson chain, but I don’t recommend the Thompson chain because the chain is messed up.

You follow their chain, it will take you, it’s not doctrinally sound. So you will be studying a doctrine in the ticuversus that are not really connected to that doctrine and mislead you and confuses you. The Schofield is very accurate on doctrine and the notes are all geared to doctrine. They’re very helpful and we have it in a soft cover, hard cover, large print, regular print, leather and all those kind of things that you might want to call and check in about that.

Well, it’s Wednesday and you’re welcome to come by and visit our resource center open every day till about 4.30. Or again, you can find everything on the website if you don’t live near the Tampa Bay area. But this Sunday is the third Sunday. That’s a great Sunday to come by and eat. We do that every third Sunday so people know if they make plans to come a distance. We have people coming from the east coast of Florida, from the Daytona Beach area, from to land Florida from south Florida from West Palm Beach all the way down to Miami and we have people coming from all over the West Coast of Florida and up even in the Caligee and little area coming down to visit with us and we’d love to have you come and kind of make it a day because then you can come and stay and eat and just…

We’re going to go to the phone lines again and we have that phone number, by the way, is 1-800-576-3771. Write that down, 1-800-576-3771. Write it down because that number you can call all day long. and inquire about things or inquire about the youth camp or inquire about directions or inquire about our resource center. You can inquire just about anything you want to ask about. And so you’ll need that number for later. 1-800-576-3771 and also to call in. We have now a caller from Spring Hill, Florida.

His name is Ed and Ed. Thank you for being patient. Ed, you’re on the air. Mr. I’m good morning. I have a question for comment first. I know that all ministries are suffering a little bit because of the economy and we’re going to be receiving these checks in the mail, these stimulant checks, and possibly could share our stimulant checks with ministries such as yours. Well, would that be nice? Yes. My question is, what is the relationship to the New Testament believer, the Testament covenants and how that relates to us as far as the blessings, etcetera, etcetera.

Well, I’ll hang up and listen. Certainly. Of course, one thing is that God is a promise keeping God and when he makes it covenant, he will keep his covenant. But most of those covenants related to the nation of Israel, the Abrahamic covenant and the Palestinian covenant and the Mosaic covenant and all those covenants, basically deal with Israel and the Bible promised a new covenant which is all inclusive of everybody and that is the one that we are under today.

And of course the New Testament really means New Covenant and it is the 27 books that give us the fine print of this wonderful, wonderful plan of salvation that God promised all the way back to Abraham but was fulfilled in the New Covenant being established by Christ When Jesus was instituting the Lord’s Supper, he spoke about the cup representing his blood. And he said, this cup represents the blood of the new covenant or the New Testament, which is shed for you.

So Jesus shed his blood and by doing so, ratified this new covenant, which obviously supersedes everything else. If you want to read a very exciting chapter, it’s Hebrews 10, which just excites me a lot, because it tells us that Christ did it across was the fulfillment and the means by which this new covenant became effective, and the 27 books of the New Testament are the fine print. But it tells us here in 10 of Hebrews in verse 10, by God’s will we are sanctified, or made appeared holy through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

And then it tells us here in verse 14, by one offering, he hath perfected forever them that are sanctified. Now here’s the exciting part, Ed. It says in verse 15, where of, where of, the Holy Spirit also is a witness to us. For after that he hath said before, this, verse 16, this is the covenant that I will make with him after those days, sayeth the Lord, that I will put my laws in their hearts, that in their minds will I write them, and their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

That is the covenant that we are now under, and really is the covenant that established forever the fact that all those that would believe on Christ are saved forever. It was a promise made to Abraham, and if you read the book of the Relations, Abraham believed the promise and was saved, but it hadn’t become a reality. It had not become a covenant until Christ died and ratified this wonderful covenant. So the last covenant is the one that you need to really focus on, and the 27 books of the New Testament of the fine print that give us the details, but I’m saved and I’m saved forever because of the blood of the new new covenant that was shed at the cross and Ed I hope that helps a little bit and Ed thank you for calling I think we have Ed hung up and we now have

John in Brandon Florida John welcome to Bible on your on the air. Good morning. Good morning. Two quick questions I know you’re not making any possessions, but if you were to … Yes, of the Bible and the information that it gives us. What year would you think that the rapture will happen? Second question, where is the scope field Bible? Are they in the back or are they at the bottom of the page? And then my third question is where has Harold been?

I haven’t heard from him. I’ll hang up and I’ll let you. Okay, Harold, I think you’re talking about the one down in South Florida, the Jewish atheist. I really feel like Harold is a believer now, and so I think he’s not ready to tell us that he is a believer yet, but I think he has gotten saved. Well, I think, needs some help here. The Schofield notes, by the way, are throughout the Bible, and there’s a wonderful index. And the index gives you a listing of all the notes and on the topics that are on and they are going to be scattered throughout the Bible but you can find them real quickly.

And oftentimes they are connected to a major passage that explains that particular doctrine. So that’s where you need to go as far as the date of the return of Christ. I don’t have a date but I do believe we are very close. I wouldn’t be surprised if Christ came this year, but if he doesn’t, I’ll be looking again next year. I’ve been looking for a long time, but I’ve never seen the number of events that are in your face every day like they are today.

I remember the brand new believer. I would see one event every six months or something and I got excited. But now I can pick up the newspaper every day and start circling all the articles that relate to some prophecy about the return of Christ. Look at the weather changes, look at the ventures into the heavens and the heavenly things that we’re seeing. In Luke 21, 25 Christ said that if we signs in the sun, the moon and the stars, we have a space station orbiting the planet right now.

or live humans are out there orbiting the planet in the space station. We have trips going back and forth regularly from Earth here with our space shuttle. These are amazing things. Then it says, meanwhile on the Earth it would be this perplexity of nations, nations without a solution to their problems, and look at the problems today. And there doesn’t seem to be a solution to any of them. And then it talks about the storms and the seas and the waves roaring.

Look at the tornadoes we’ve had over 1200 and many deadly tornadoes taking lives and destroying great property. Plus floods and parts of our country in Wisconsin and Indiana and places are flooding. We just have so many things happening. I think these are all end time signs. the potential for famine, the pestilences and curable diseases we’re seeing today. The earthquake frequency, they’re all happening all over the place. The Bible said it would be earthquakes in diverse places. And on and on and on we could go.

I don’t have an answer except that I believe that we’re right on the edge. Christ could come at any moment. We’re now going to go to Dave and he is in St. Petersburg and Dave, welcome to my mind you’re on the air. Yes, hello pastor. Yeah, this is basically for the gentleman that calls his hands a couple of years. I suggest that he read the 2nd John 9 through 11 and 2nd Corinthians 6, 14 through 18. I just suggest hopefully he’s told us and that he read those and maybe he can comment on them and I’ll hang up.

Right. Well, thank you Dave and that’s true. Second John 9-11 talks about whosoever transgresses that abideth not in the doctrine of Christ hath not God. But he did abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. So, obviously, they are not saved, they are totally lost, and they deny the basic tenets of Christianity. They need another source in order to be able to read the Bible. It’s the Kingdom Hall literature and watch out for any group that slides in something in front of the Bible.

The Bible is the authority and we need to go there and ask ourselves. As we read the Bible and then read the other literature, is that other literature in line with the Bible and you’ll find the Kingdom Hall literature is not in line with the Bible. Therefore it deserves to be burnt. Just get rid of it. You don’t want that stuff. And all the cults have something else that they go to first before the Bible and interpret the Bible in the light of that bad literature.

And that’s a typical sign of a cult. They deny the Trinity. They deny the deity of Christ. They deny salvation by faith. They deny the fact that Jesus completely paid for your sin dead at the cross and believe that salvation is by works and so on. So obviously you need to have help. But you be careful and I think the verse in Corinthians that Dave was mentioning there is one about don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers. So you can be, you need to be careful.

You don’t attend their Bible studies and get yourself at a position where they have the upper hand. So what I have found is that when a young witness comes to your door, they really don’t want to reveal much information about themselves. I usually say, would you please give me your name and address and phone number because Because we have a team of people that would like to come and visit you at your house. I’ve never had one yet give me any information at all.

They don’t tell you their name, they don’t tell you their address, they don’t tell you their phone number, try that. If you can get a Joe’s witness to do that I’d be surprised. But they don’t want you to come over to their house, they want to come to your house. And I’ll be glad to come to your house and they don’t want me to do that. In fact, they don’t want to come to my house either. I think they got a big circle around mine that stay away from that guy.

But obviously they don’t want you to visit them and it’s not a they want to have the upper hand and they come and visit you on your territory. Be very careful. The second verse that Dave gave second Corinthians 6, 14 through 17 says be separate from them and don’t be unequally yoked with them and be careful because it will get you in trouble. Alright, we have the phone number here is 1-800-576-3771 and it’s 1-800-576-3771. We invite you to call and again don’t forget this Sunday is the third Sunday and we have our dinner.

You’ll have a great time coming at 1030, join the worship service. If you want to come at 915 you can get in my adult class and put the kids in Sunday school or other classes for adults and children. And we also invite you then to stay for the worship, not only for the worship service, but for the dinner that will follow and be my guest. And we hope you will do that. Again, we have a couple openings left in our youth camp.

If you want to send your teen, I believe you’ll be very pleased at what happens because if you get somebody into the sound for a whole week of God’s Word, get them under the teaching God’s Word, it has a great impact. And we have seen many wonderful things happen in these camps. And that’s why we do them, because we know the power of getting them away from their friends, away from their environment, away from their music, and to get them under the sound of God’s Word for a week.

It’s extremely powerful. So, call and ask, and we’ll pay the information, and maybe you might want your team to go to camp. They’ll have a great time. It’s on a beautiful lake. There’s going to be a lot of sports and fun and swimming. But in addition, they’re going to be getting into the Bible in a way perhaps they’ve never experienced before, which is powerful. We’re now going to go to the phone lines again, and we have Barbara, and she is calling in from Seminole, Florida, and Barbara, you’re on the air.

Go ahead. Hi Pastor Winson, thank you for everything that you do. I wondered if you would elaborate on the seven sacraments of the Catholic religion and the catechism and so forth because I don’t understand all of those. Well okay, you know the seven sacraments we have a book here called in our Resource Center called Understanding Roman Catholicism. It takes the catechism of the Roman Catholic Church, which is exciting as reading the Yellow Pages in your phonebook. It’s just usually difficult for most people.

But it takes 37 crucial doctrines and quotes the catechism and then shows scripture about what the Bible says about those doctrines. You’ll just be shocked at the great divide. Between what the Catholic Church teaches in the Catechism and what you find in the Bible. So that’s really really powerful and There are no seven sacraments in the Bible as far as I’m concerned. There are two ordinances That’s the word we use that is a good New Testament word. It’s in 1 Corinthians 11 One where it talks about keep the ordinances plural and the only two mentioned in 1 Corinthians are water baptism and Lord’s Supper That’s it.

Now, one of the sacraments of the Catholic Church is, and they teach it all seven are necessary for salvation and is the sacrifice or rather the sacrament of the Mass. The Mass is not biblical. The Mass, according to the Roman Catholic Cataclysm, and I’ll quote it says in the Cataclysm, what is the sacrifice of the Mass? And the answer given in the catechism is the sacrifice of the Mass is the unbloodied sacrifice of Jesus Christ again to pay for sin.

I read the catechism and I memorized some of the questions and answers in here and it’s just saying something totally wrong. It says the sacrifice again of Christ. Christ will never be sacrificed again. Hebrews chapter 10 is very clear that it will never happen. And it says in verse 11 of Hebrews chapter 10, every priest standing and ministereth oftentimes the same sacrifices which can never take away sins. So whatever a priest does can’t take away your sin according to Hebrews 10, 11.

And so you need to check out what’s going on against the Bible. But then it says in the catechism, is the sacrifice of the Mass the same sacrifice as that of Calvary? And this is the clicker. It says in the catechism, the sacrifice of the Mass is the same sacrifice as that of Calvary. So there you have it. And earlier today we had a lady call about Hebrews 6 and it says there to try to crucify Christ again to yourself, puts him to an open chain.

And that’s exactly what the Catholics do every time the Mass is offered. They offer up Christ again to pay for sin, which will never happen, and puts him to an open shame, and it really is a blasphemy against Christ to say that he has to be crucified again and again and again and again and again. Another sacrament, of course, is water baptism. Water baptism doesn’t save, but the Catholic Church says when your water baptized, that makes you a member of the body of Christ.

you become then eligible, I guess, to continue to earn your way to heaven through keeping the other sacraments. So basically the sacraments are all based on works and on things you must do and they say in order that you might earn grace, which is can’t be. The grace is unmerited. Grace is the absence of works. Romans 11, 6 says, if by grace, that it’s no more of work, otherwise grace isn’t grace. But if a bee of works, then it’s no more grace.

Otherwise, work isn’t work. So by definition, grace is the absence of any works and yet the Catholic Church plays this little shell game where they say that you are saved by grace, but you have to earn grace by doing the sacraments. Barbara, I’ll pray for you, but you might want to order this book. It’s not expensive and it’ll really open your eyes when you read the catechism quotes and then read your Bible and say, whoa, there’s no connect here at all.

This is not the same thing at all. We’re going to go down to Floyd and he’s in Dade City, Florida and Floyd, welcome to Bibleline. Hello, Floyd. How you doing? I’ve got to. I’m doing fine. I was listening to you a while back and I want you to correct me if I’m wrong. It seemed like when you was quoting one with ten nine, it was saying that it was reading. You know about the, you confess your mouth and believe in your heart that you just press me up after Lord Jesus.

and you say it should be Jesus the Lord. If you have a scofield, it will point out in the margin, that’s the way it literally should read. And most of Bible teachers and scholars recognize that, but really what it’s saying here, that he is God. The Lord there is God. In the context it demands that. It says later, whose servers can call upon the name of the Lord? for his name. He tells us he’s God and the contraction of his name with the word in the Hebrew for salvation.

Yasha, and the Bible says his rivers will call in the name of Yeshua shall be saved. So when you call him and Yeshua in English is Jesus, when you call upon Yeshua as the Savior, as the one who died for you, God saves you. And the same thought is over in Philippians chapter 2 and verse 11. It says, one day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Jehovah or Yahweh or Yeshua and that will be too late for those that are lost.

It will be in hell forever. Thank you, Floyd, for calling in today. I hope that answers your question. We are at the end of our program. We’ll be back again tomorrow. In the meantime, could you help us? And as that one caller suggested, maybe you could use some of that stimulus money to stimulate by one here we could use your help. We are experiencing the same things that are happening out there in the economy and we need people to just step up and give a little bit extra if they can for those who are not able to give as much.

But we definitely have stepped out to take on Miami next week, next Monday and we need help to make sure that we are able to continue that one hour show for them down in South Florida, which is a large at listing audience down there.
