We’re going to get into the Bible and then we’ll be taking our callers so you can call them and get up on the air with us. If you want to call them right now, I’m going to turn to our Bibles. Do you have your Bible there? Turn if you will. The Psalm 83. It says here, keep not by thou silence. Oh God. Hold not thy peace and be not still, O God, for lo, thy enemies make a tumult, and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.

They have taken crafty counsel against thy people. That’s Israel, and have consulted against thy hidden ones. They have said, come and let us cut them off from being a nation that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. You know it’s amazing how we’re watching that happen right now in our world. A vintage job in Iran says he would like to cut off the Jewish people from being a nation. Destroy them to Nukem that the name of Israel be no more in remembrance.

It’s amazing but I know throughout the Middle East Israel is not recognized. I was flying on an Egyptian Airlines and I pulled the magazine out of the seat back and I was looking at the maps where they show the airline routes where the Egyptian airline flies. And as I looked over the Middle East, I saw all the countries that you are familiar with. But when I look for Israel, Israel wasn’t there. Yes, the land was there, but the name Israel is nowhere on the map.

They don’t recognize Israel. And most all of the Muslim countries do not recognize the state of Israel. It doesn’t exist. they would like to get it removed. If they could just destroy the Jewish people, that’s exactly what is in the heart of these nations. The Bible says that that would happen thousands of years ago. It says here in verse 4, they have said, come and let us cut them off from being a nation that the name of Israel be no more in remembrance, for they have consulted together with one consent.

They are Confederate against me. They all have joined hands. And of course that common denominator is I think the Muslim faith which says that those that are not Muslim are infidels and are worthy of being killed. And so they obviously are in league together with this. Let me have you turn with me to the prophet Micah. Micah This says in chapter 4 verse 11, now also many nations are gathered against the, that say, let Israel be defiled and let our eyes be upon Zion.

Isn’t that interesting that you see 22 Muslim countries, all of them hate Israel. They would like to see Israel defiled and destroyed. This is written thousands of years ago. This was written about 27-2800 years ago where here the prophet Micah foresees the future and how that the country surrounding Israel would hate her and how they would like to see her destroyed, defiled. And it says here, now many nations are gathered against thee that say, let her be defiled and let our eye be upon Zion.

Well, obviously that’s pretty obvious what’s going on today. Muslim countries want Jerusalem as the capital of the Palestinian state. And so they are very incensed. In fact, just a little sweet. Israel is building Jewish settlements in East Jerusalem and Connolly Sarai scolded the U.S. for, rather scolded Israel for building those settlements there in East Jerusalem. They are trying to prevent Israel from having a united Jerusalem and want to divide the land and divide the city of Jerusalem. And the Bible says in verse 12, but they know not the thoughts of the Lord.

They know not the thoughts of the Lord. Well, of course not. They don’t read the Bible. Those that are Muslim don’t read the Bible at all, so they don’t know the thoughts of the Lord. It says neither do they understand his counsel, and here it tells us what’s going to happen. It says, for he shall gather them all of those countries as the chiefs of the floor, and it says that Israel will be the winner in verse 13, and he says that they shall beat them in pieces.

And it says that I will consecrate their gain unto the Lord and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth. When Jesus comes back, seven years after the Rapture, the seven years after the Rapture are an opportunity for people all around the world to come to know Jesus as their Savior. And if you don’t trust Christ after the Rapture during that seven years, then you’re done for. When Christ comes back, He will destroy every unbeliever on the face of the earth.

And here the Bible describes in Micah that all of those countries, the all of those countries that are against Israel that want Israel to file, that want to take over Israel, are going to find themselves overcome and destroyed and all that land will become Israel. That’s right. The promise made to Abraham will finally be fulfilled, that Israel will own all the land from the Euphrates River in Iraq. All the way down to the Nile River in Egypt. There will all be Israel’s and all of that oil, all that wealth, will become Israel’s.

That all that land will be vacated because all of the lost, all of the world will be slain when Jesus comes back at his second coming. And by the way, this is about the time in which we’re living today. Look, if you will, at Micah chapter 4 verse 1, where it says, in the last days, it shall come to pass. were in the last days. These are the days that the Bible has described as the last days. And you know that Jesus is the one who is coming back and will affect all this as you go to chapter 5.

And by the way, the chapter divisions and verse numbers are not inspired. They were not placed in the Bible till around 1200 years after Christ was already here. But it says in chapter 5 and verse 2, but thou, Bethlehem, Africa. Though there will be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of these shall come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel, whose goings forth have been from of old from everlasting. Here it talks about the one who is the eternal God who has been from everlasting, would actually come and take on human flesh in the city of Bethlehem.

And then it talks about as it jumps over the first coming of Christ, to the second coming of Christ and how it tells in verse 4 that He shall stand and feed in the strength of the Lord. That is Jesus. In the majesty of the name of the Lord His God and they, the nation of Israel, shall abide. For now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth. The whole earth will come under Christ’s control and Israel will be raised up as the head nation and this is the counsel of the Lord.

Most people don’t know the Council of the Lord. They don’t know His thoughts because they don’t read the Bible. But clearly we’re coming up close and hard on these events. And it’s interesting that every time we seem to nudge Israel in a wrong direction, we pay a price it seems here in the United States of America. The Bible says, back in Genesis chapter 12, blessed are those that bless Israel and cursed of those that curse Israel and every time we try to divide their land and to divide Jerusalem, it seems like things happen back here in the U.S.

that are really consequences of our cursing Israel. I think we need to take a look at the current news as related to the political events that are happening that really, I think, are God saying, hands off of Israel. This people is my people and they are the apple of my eye. And there are so many verses we could turn to, but I think we’re living close to when Christ is going to come back. Things are really happening rapidly now.

The world is coming together exactly as the Bible described it would. And I think the rapture is right around the corner. And if the Lord were to come this year, it most likely would happen at the end of September on the Feast of Trumpets. There are seven feast days that God gave, all are mentioned in Leviticus chapter 23. The first four were literally fulfilled in the first coming of Christ on the day. The first being the feast of Passover Christ died exactly when the Passover was being offered up in Israel and he died as our Passover lamb.

1 Corinthians 5-7 tells us that it says, For even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us. The next feast of unleavened bread spoke of his body, spoke of his burial, and he was buried during the feast of unleavened bread. The feast of first fruits, the third feast, always occurred on a Sunday, and it was a picture of the resurrection, and Christ rose exactly on that day. The first fruit’s feast day, and in 1 Corinthians 15 verses 20 through 22, it says that Jesus is the first fruits of the resurrection.

The next feast, the fourth feast, was the feast that began this present age on the feast of Pentecost. What happened? The Holy Spirit came fifty days after the resurrection to dwell the believers of this age and this age began. The next feast, I believe, will conclude this age, just as Pentecost began the age and that’s the Feast of Trumpets. And according to the calendar, it will happen this year, September 30. Are you ready to be raptured out? I’m not saying that he’s coming this year.

Please don’t misquote me, but I’m saying he could. And if he did, you’ve only got a little bit of time left. Why? This month is almost gone. And then we have all of July, all of August and all of September, three months in a couple of weeks and we could be out of here. Again, I want to be careful to let you know I’m not setting a date. I’m just saying we’re living in the last days. He could come this year.

But I’m not saying he’s coming this year. If he doesn’t come this year, what are you going to do? Well, I’m going to be watching next year. He’s coming. I just don’t know the date, but I know that he’s coming soon. And what if it were this year? Would you do anything differently if you knew that Christ was going to be here in just three and a half months? Is there anybody you’d want to witness to? Is there anybody that you would like to talk to about the Lord and make sure that they’re saved?

Is there anything in your life that you’d like to do? change, you know, we’re going to stand before the Lord accountable when He comes and catches us up at the rapture. That’s when the judgment seat of Christ will occur where believers will be examined for their works to determine the degree of reward or loss of reward in heaven. So no doubt about it. We only ought to live that way because that’s an exciting way to live. And the fact is, what if you did come this year?

Would you look back and and say, oh my goodness, oh Lord, I wish I had paid attention. Lord, I just didn’t think you were coming this quickly. I’m sorry. Will you have regrets that you didn’t really anticipate that he could? He could. He could come this year. Please don’t misquote me. I didn’t say he’s coming this year. But I said he could. Wouldn’t that be something? Anyway, I’m Dr. Anclins from, and I hope that you’re a believer that you’ve trusted Jesus alone as your only hope of salvation or you will not be able to enter heaven.

There’s only one way to be saved and that’s Jesus and by faith alone in Christ alone God saves all those that put their trust in Him. I’m Dr. Ankerine Klimsar and we’re going to go to the phone lines. The phone number is 1-800-576-3771, 1-800-576-3771. We’re going to be able to Lakeland Florida we have Ann and welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air yes I have a question on do you think that the Todd Bentley is a move of God that’s happening in Lakeland absolutely not I don’t know if you’ve seen the videos in red the statements that are going on but he was a past Satanist and if you watch how he throws people down and they can pulse and while they are out of control I think I think that’s all demonic.

I firstly think this is not a God of all, but is a demonic movement and people are really being fooled. I was just watching some video this morning on the YouTube and he throws people to the ground and they convulse and they go wild and I don’t think that’s a God of all. You know the Bible talks about the Holy Spirit and they’re trying to say that so much of the Holy Spirit is coming on these people that their bodies can’t contain them, that’s That’s why they convulse and that’s why they are flailing all over the floor and the video shows them throwing blankets over the women because it becomes indecent.

But if you read the Scriptures, it tells us in 2 Timothy, for example, chapter 1, that God has not given us the Spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. So when you have the Holy Spirit involved, it talks about its spirit of a sound mind. It’s the spirit of love. It’s not the spirit of fear. So whatever’s happening doesn’t exhibit those qualities about the Holy Spirit. This is not a Holy Spirit movement.

I hope that helps a little bit, but I don’t believe that there’s anything about God about it. He doesn’t preach from the Bible, does it carry the Bible, does it use the Bible. He’s all about signs and wonders. I see. And you said he was a past maintenance? Oh yeah, in fact he also was arrested in Canada and spent time in jail for molesting a a boy, even boy. So he was also a pedophile convicted and also spent a number of times in jail for breaking and entering another crime.

You can see it all on the internet. Do you have the internet at web point? All you have to do is type his name in and hit go on Google and you’ll get pages and pages of video and literature about him and definitely it’s not nice okay alright i’ve been told from a different story that i’m confused i don’t get that even before i knew the man about the man i didn’t get the inclination of going to see him so and but people are like all you know i didn’t get healing but i got spiritual and i’ve been told so many different things and people got healing their eyes came out on got a new eye or whatever the case might be an unlike i don’t know about I wouldn’t believe it.

The Lord is coming and there’s going to be lots of deception in the last days. And it says in Matthew 24, 24 that there will be false preachers who would show signs and wonders. He says, it would be so effective that many of the genuine believers would be deceived by it. And Christ says in Matthew 24, 25, I’m telling you before it happens, He gives us 2,000 years warning to be alert to the signs and wonders movement. I don’t believe this is of God.

It says clearly Christ says it would be false preachers doing the signs and wonders in the last days. Oh, waitie. Okay, you live right where it’s at. So stay away. Okay. Okay, thank you so much. Alright, and from Lakeland, Florida, we now have Brad in Clearwater, Florida. Brad, welcome to Bibleline Year on the Year. Good morning, Pastor Lenz Trump. I have a question for you. I know that a new day starts at 12 a.m. because of what Jesus Christ had on the cross for us.

And I was reading Genesis 1 through 5. And my question on Genesis 1 through 5 is what would have been the start of a new on the evening hour. I’ll hang up and listen to your response by radio. Well, obviously the day as the Jewish people still count the day is from sundown to sundown. So that starts the day. We count our days from midnight to midnight, but biblically the days are from sundown to sundown. The Jewish people still count their day that way.

On Friday at sundown, the Sabbath begins and you’ll find the synagogue, the synagogue, parking lots are filled up as people go to synagogue, and then Saturday at sundown the Sabbath ends, and Jewish people go back to normal life. And that’s ever been since the book of Genesis. It hasn’t changed at all. I used to live in Miami, Florida as a little boy. I had a paper route, and when I would try to collect my route every week on Friday, if I got to a Jewish home after sundown, they wouldn’t pay me.

And I really was very irritated about that, that bothered me. But then I learned that that was the Sabbath, that they couldn’t do any monetary transactions on the Sabbath. And so I had to either get their early Friday before sundown, or I’d have to get their Saturday after sundown when the Sabbath was over. And so I learned very early on about 12 or 13 years of age about the Sabbath. And I didn’t want to ruin my Saturday night plans as a little boy.

So I tried to get my routes collected on Friday afternoon early. I knew which homes were Jewish because I learned pretty quickly about that. And I got there before sundown. Then I went and collected the rest of my route. That was my little job that helped me through, I think, seventh grade. Anyway. That’s the way it’s always been. The Jewish people count their day from sundown to sundown. Thank you Brad. That was Brad in Clearwater, Florida. You’re welcome to call in.

The phone number is 1-800-576-3771. By the way, next Monday is when we actually go the full hour in Miami. And I think I said it was going to be this week and I was mistaken. But we’re looking forward to that and I hope everybody in Miami is excited about the fact that the door has opened now for us to be on for the full hour. And I hope that you will pray for that opportunity that we have. By the way, on the Internet, we’ve reached so far 156 countries that we’re getting emails from around the world of people that are listening and watching on the Internet.

We’re talking about doing another class here during the month of July, and so we’ll announce this time. We just finished first and second Peter and those are available on CD and DVD. That’s right. 10 hours of teaching on first Peter and 10 hours of teaching on second Peter and we’re getting lots of positive remarks from those that are getting these series. These are in time books. These are books that are right there at the end of your New Testament just before the book book of Revelation and they fill that gap between when Christ came the first time and what would happen just before he comes back at the second coming as described in the book of Revelation.

These will really alert you to end time things and I think we’re seeing them happen just as hand from Lakeland called in. This is a book that warns about false teachings and the exceptions that would happen just before Christ would return. Miami, keep praying for us. Next Monday we’ll be on for the full hour. And we thank God that we’re able to be on the air there as we sign off a little bit before everybody else in the Miami station.

So Miami, we’ll see you again tomorrow. And unless, of course, they have internet, they can catch the full program today on the internet and go back and review it anytime that they please. If you have a Bible question, you can call in and you can also leave it off air and not go up on the air with us and you certainly If you’ve never trusted Christ as your Savior, let me just say that the key word is trust. You can acknowledge all of the facts about Christ and still.

You must trust that He died for you, was buried, and rose again from the dead. When you trust Christ, God saves you and He saves you eternally. You can do that right now. You can just say, Lord, I’m a sinner. I don’t understand much about the Bible, but I believe Jesus Christ died for me, paid for my sin debt and full was buried and rose again from the dead. The moment you trust Him, God will save you and He saves you eternally.

I hope you’ll do that. By the way, Bibleline is listed or supported. If you want to help us today, that would be appreciated. Really thank God for all of you who pray for and give the Bible. You are really the ones that are the heroes of Bible. Because you keep us on the air. We don’t have any other means of support. We don’t pay any salaries. I don’t get a salary, nor does any of our staff here. We do Bible and as a gift to the Lord.

We want this message to get out. So call and give a gift by credit card over the phone or call and ask for a non-look recent with our address and you can mail your gift in or go to our website by the line ministries.org and give a gift on the online bookstore. I know that you’ll be greatly benefited. Well, we’re going to go and take a break. We’ll come back and do a second half hour by blind and I hope you’ll stick right with me and be here for the second half hour.

I’m Dr. Engleinser. We’ll be right back after this short break. Keep your radio tuned right where it is. I’ll be right back in just a moment. Don’t go. I’m aligned. We’ll be back in aDiff call at one eight hundred five seven six three seven seven. That’s oneRecommended five seven six thirty seven seventy one. Dr. England’s great to be with you. It’s Tuesday. We’re excited. We’re looking forward to a wonderful day and a Cunningll week. We are excited about having a youth camp beginning next Monday and if you have a team that you’d like to send, we can squeeze them in, we got a couple of openings left, and I tell you, most every one of them gets saved when they go to camp.

We have a great success rate that way, and if they’re not living for Christ, many of them dedicate their life to serve Him. So if you really would like to impact a teenager, you can get the information by just calling our 800 member. We’re excited about the fact that Bibleline is available on the Internet 24-7. Have you looked at our website? Go to our website and encourage your friends to go to the website. If you have family or friends anywhere in the U.S.

or outside of the U.S., people in the military, champla, missionaries in other countries or family in other countries, let them know about Bibleline and our website BibleLineMinistries.org. It’s a powerful, powerful tool to bring people into the Bible and we’re hearing about people getting saved all the time. We have a CD called How PError is Your Salvation and it seems like almost every day we hear of somebody getting saved by hearing that CD. Is there someone you’re concerned about? Is there someone you’d like to see get saved?

You might order some of these as an evangelistic tool. called How Permanent is Your Solvation, call and you can order them or you can do it online. And that particular CD, God has really blessed in bringing people to Christ. In fact, we heard of a fellow that played that CD and really got assurance and was out on the road someplace listening to it. And he called and shared that news with his friends, excited as he was just elated to know that he was saved and saved forever and had to call a long distance to share that with people back here in this area.

You can also take advantage of those evangelistic tools that we have. When you call, you can just say, hey, I’m looking for that CD that is great in leading people to Christ. We’ll know what you’re talking about and we’ll be able to fill that order. We have the Scofield Bibles, which is the one that has the notes that are so powerful. Most Bibles, and I have them all. I’ve got every kind of Bible imaginable. But you know… The Scofield Bible has the notes geared to doctrine which you want to know about heaven, hell, and demons and angels and Christ and the Godhead and so on and so on.

Call and get that Scofield Bible. We’re going to rejoin the stations that have been on break. We’re going to do the second half hour Bibleline. So would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-570-8 Call and get that. Just go feel Bible. We’re going to rejoin the stations that have been on break. We’re going to do the second half hour Bibleline. So…

Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-876. 63771 now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom Alright, we’re back for that break and it’s great to be with you. It’s Tuesday. We’re excited I bought you, you know the Bible is an incredible book and when I read the Bible I It’s ahead of the news. I just get so thrilled when I watch the news every day I read the paper or watch the news channels and I say wow the Bible has said that these things would happen and thousands of years ago.

And here I’m watching him happen now. And I’m living in this time that God has spoken about. What a thrill to be living in the days now when we believe Christ will come soon and snatch out all the believers. It’s a wonderful event. Some people don’t believe in the Rapture, but let me tell you, the Bible teaches it. The Bible says those who are living in a lie will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air. The word Rapture means caught up.

That’s what it says in the King James and 1 Thessalonians. I have a 12-hour teaching that’s on CD about the Rapture and all the positions. There’s a lot of different views. The mid-rapture, the partial rapture, the pre-rapture, the post-trivational rapture, the mid-trivational rapture, and the pre-trivulation will go through all of that with you and show you where people make their mistakes. And basically it’s based around the fact that people don’t take the Bible literally and they don’t read the Bible very carefully.

And if you read it carefully and you take it literally it’s not going to come out a dozen different ways. You’re going to love that series on the Rapture 12 hours of teaching that will just absolutely rivet you as you listen. I think you’re going to enjoy that call and ask for the Rapture series on CD. But we’re living in a time that definitely the Bible has spoken about and these are exciting times for evangelism, I think the things that are happening right now in the news are unsettling to people and they’re curious, they want to know the truth, and you and I as a witness for Christ can be ready to share with them and you know many are open to listen because of what they’re seeing in the news that is unsettling about the future.

The believer in Jesus Christ is the only one that has a certain future because our future is settled and we’re going to go to heaven way either by death or by the rapture. We’re going to live with the Lord and the New Jerusalem and live with him forever. What a wonderful feature is ahead for every believer. I hope you’ve trusted Jesus as your Savior. If you have a question on the Bible, Bibleline is really for you because you could call in and ask your question and we’ll try to give you an answer right from the Bible.

That number is 1-800-576-3771, 1-800-576-3771. And we of course would love to hear from you and you can leave that question off here as well. Plus, let me just say one more word about Bible and new part of the website Bible and music for children. This is an exciting thing for me. We have six CDs there that you can sample on our website. You can actually type in the name of your child, Grandchild, nephew, and niece and sample the CDs with their names actually inserted in the songs.

When you order it, your grandchild or child or nephew or niece will actually hear their names repeated about 40 to 45 times on whatever CD you get. It’s powerful. It has really impacted my granddaughter in an incredible way. Just opens the door for you to talk about Jesus all the time. Let me encourage you to take a look at our website. When you go to the online bookstore, every page on the right side is a vertical banner that you click on and allows you to sample the CDs.

We’re going to go to Steve in Margot, Florida. Steve, welcome to Bibleline You Are On The Air. Good morning, pastor. I have pretty much a two-part question. One of you has to deal with the age of accountability. But before that, I believe that when we are born, we come out of the womb, spiritually dead, and that we must be born again. And so I have read a book by Dr. Alajayna Kling, who believes that in the fact that we have been born again.

In Romans 7 when Paul said that when the law came that he died that at that moment he died spiritually and had to be born again. But I don’t believe that we are ever spiritually alive until God saved us and we are born again. I wonder your thoughts on that. Are we born spiritually dead? And if so, what do you believe about the age of accountability? Okay, actually I believe we’re born spiritually dead. I think it’s very clear, Ephesians 2-1, that says that you have the quickened or made alive or resurrected who were dead in trespasses and sins.

Every unsafe person is born spiritually dead and will not have spiritual life until they become born again. We do believe children under the age of accountability will be saved if they die prior to that point in their life. And I searched for a long time and I heard lots of different opinions about the age of accountability. But I finally found I believe the answer in the book of Jonah of all places. In the very last verse of the book of Jonah in chapter 4, it talks there about Jonah, you know, having a little pity party there.

He was kind of disappointed that God didn’t judge Nineveh, but God says there that he had 120,000 children there in Nineveh that didn’t know their right hand from their left hand. I believe that is the age when a person becomes accountable. By the way, I know some adults that can’t tell their left hand from their right hand, so I don’t know if they’re ever been accountable. I’m teasing for it. You know, that’s a great way to determine it because it allows for the different development of different children, some develop more quickly than others and some are slower.

And so at whatever age they can discern their left hand from their right hand, they become accountable and can trust Jesus as their Savior. But prior to that, they would go to heaven after that, they become accountable to trust Christ. But you’re right. In John 524, a wonderful verse and one that I love, it says, Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that heareth my word and believe it on him that sent me, has everlasting life, shall not come into condemnation, and here it is, Steve, is passed from death under life.

So you are spiritually dead until you hear the words of Christ, the gospel message, and believe on Christ. And when you do, you receive eternal life, you have the promise that you will never come and the condemnation and that you are passed from death unto life. And that’s John 524, it’s a great one, but I believe the book you’re reading is wrong and that Paul is not saying that in Romans 7 and that we’re all spiritually dead when we come into this world and need to have the new birth, which is what Christ talked to in the kingdoms about and when you trust Christ you have that new birth.

You’re very welcome and thank you for calling in. Steve in Largo, Florida. You’re welcome to call in at 1-800-576-3771 and please give us a call. Anonymous caller from Riverview, Florida calls in and she says is there a circumstance where a Christian wife can divorce a non-Christian husband who is against her practicing her faith, especially when it affects the children. Well, the Bible does talk about this kind of situation and it’s in 1st Corinthians 7 and it doesn’t talk about divorce but it talks about separation and that might have to take place if you can’t get along on that issue.

It talks there about children being saved and it talks about if possible if the partner is willing to stay, to stay with the marriage in order that you might win that partner to Christ and also the children which is very powerful thing, but it doesn’t talk about the right to divorce. But we’ll be praying for you. I know it’s a tough situation and certainly you want the kids to know the Lord as Savior and you want to be able to bring them up in the nurture and admonish of the Lord as it says in Ephesians chapter 6.

We have Matthew in Spring Hill, Florida. Matthew, welcome to Bibleline your own ear. Hey Hank, do you believe that when the rapture happens that the children that are under that age of accountability will be raptured out? And what about children in the womb? You know, you asked the tough questions there. That’s not fair. I know nobody likes the answer I give, but I don’t think children under the age of accountability will be raptured. But I do believe if they were to perish that they would go to heaven.

What’s happening in the Rapture is life will continue on. And if he did Rapture the children and all of the children would go of unsaved and saved alike, he certainly would not be a respecter of persons and just take the children of saved people. But life will go on just as it did in other times of judgment on the earth. But this is just simply an evacuation of believers. So unbelievers will be left behind and I believe children will be left behind.

And that’s scary I know because if you’re a parent or a grandparent and your small children involved, boy you can just really just get flooring up thinking about the fact they could be left behind. But my answer is this, in Genesis 18 verse 25 it says, show him up the God of all the earth do right. He’s going to do the right thing. And there in the context is talking about the judgment upon Sodom. And you know Sodom was destroyed and Gomorrah and the other cities of the plain and And only the believers were evacuated out and all the children there were all killed.

And the beautiful thing is that those children were saved. Because they’re the only ones in that whole area that were saved other than Lot and his wife and his two daughters. They were evacuated. But the inhabitants of the plane were all destroyed. all destroyed everyone men women and children but yet this children died and perished in the destruction of saturday bar underneath the calendar of only went to heaven so uh… you might want to think about that and uh…

hopefully that’s uh… helpful mathio help that helps okay at all thought if i could complicate it just a little bit further in uh… with no one in the flood uh… you know only eight being saved. Does that mean that only eight continue to live on and you think that the children have perished in the flood under the age of accountability, the same rule applies there? Absolutely. And they went to heaven as well. And the wonderful thing is today with all these abortions, which is such a tragic thing that’s happening, all those aborted children will be in heaven.

Isn’t that great? So at least we have something that we can smile about with the abortions that are taking place that these children will all be in heaven. Amen. Could I ask another question? Sure. Can you talk a little bit about the gift of discerning spirits? Well, yeah. If you look over in 1 John chapter 4, it talks about that. It says, dearly beloved. It says, don’t be gullible. Don’t believe everything that you hear for many false teachers are gone out into the world.

One of the first things you want to do is find out as it says in verses 2 and 3 is do the people that you’re talking to that you’re discerning whether their spirit is of the Lord or of Satan do they believe that Jesus Christ is God and took on flesh. And so immediately the cults, you know, they go off your radar real quick. The Joe’s Witnesses do not believe that Jesus Christ is God and took on the flesh.

The Bible says this is of the spirit of anachrist. This is not of God because obviously the Holy Spirit plainly declares in it says it in Corinthians that Jesus Christ is God, He took on flesh. And if you deny that doctrine then you’re not receiving obviously or espousing what the Holy Spirit, the author of scripture is teaching about Christ and that’s a false spirit. And so it warns us there about testing the spirits and the way we test them is against the Bible.

So the more Bible you know, the more familiar you are with sound Bible teaching, the more easily you’ll recognize those that are false and recognize that they don’t come in line with the Scripture and that’s when you reject them. Hebrews chapter 4 verse 12 is a great verse where it says the Word of God is living in powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword. And it talks about how that it is one that divides and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

So the word I’ve got allows you to discern and to recognize false teachings. I believe that you have to get into the word to do that. I like Isaiah 820, a favorite of mine that says, If they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. That’s pretty plain, isn’t it? If they speak not according to this word, that is the word of God. It is because there is no light in them. Matthew, hope that helps.

Yes sir, thank you. You’re welcome and thank you for calling in that with us. that was Matthew in Spring Hill, Florida. And we hope that you’re enjoying today’s Bibleline program. And if you’d like to call in, you’re welcome to call us at 1-800-5763-771. If you’ve not been water baptized since you have been saved, we’re going to be doing one the third Sunday in August. So you might want to circle that on your calendar. If you’d like, some people don’t have a church or a church where they practice baptism.

But we do baptize by immersion, and if you would like to be included, I would certainly be honored to baptize you if you’re in the area where you could get over to where we are. Or if you would like to go to Israel with me next year, I will baptize you in the Jordan River. I talked to her later last night and said that while she would like to be baptized in Israel in the Jordan. We baptized 12 just a couple of months ago when we were there.

And it is a very special, obviously, experience unique to just a few that get the privilege of going actually to the Jordan River and be baptized there in Israel. You can get your name on our list and we’ll be happy to include you in August when we do the next baptism. But water baptism doesn’t save. dying thief remember was never water baptized and yet he was saved by faith alone. That’s the only way you can be saved. And Jesus said to him, today thou shall be with me in paradise.

But water baptism is a testimony and it believers ought to be water baptized by immersion, but it doesn’t save. A lot of people say, well, I was already baptized and they talk about their infant baptism. That doesn’t count. such thing as infant baptism in anybody’s Bible. I don’t care what Bible you have, what denomination you go to, you will not find support for infant baptism in the Bible. It’s just absolutely not there. It’s amazing today how many things are practiced by different churches that are not biblical.

And again, that goes back to Matthew’s question here about how to discern the Spirit. You have to check out what you are being taught against the Bible. If it doesn’t agree, it’s wrong. There’s just a way to look at it. Isaiah 820, if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. We have Lynn and Paul and Harbor. She calls in with us all fair questions. She says, are Adam and Eve in heaven?

The answer is Lynn, yes indeed they are. Adam and Eve were both saved. And they were saved the same way we are saved today, as everybody who has ever been saved, the same way we are saved today, let’s buy faith in Jesus Christ. You say, well how did they know about Christ? Well, if you read carefully, Genesis 3.15 is the first promise of Jesus and it says they are the seed of the woman, which is a veiled reference to the virgin birth of Christ, would ultimately defeat Satan and he would defeat Satan by having his heel bruise, which is another veiled reference to the crucifixion.

The only death we know of where the heel of the victim is bruised is crucifixion where the person being crucified has to push up on their heel for every breath. And ultimately the person being crucified dies of suffocation because they can become exhausted and they can’t push up anymore and they can’t catch their breath. And so they believe that promise. You read just a couple of verses later. Genesis 3.15 promises this Savior, the seed of the woman, that would defeat Satan.

And then you have in verse 20 that Adam named Eve gave her her name. Now that’s an unusual situation where as parents we can name our children, but what husband gets to name his wife? Eve was named by Adam and he called her Eve because the word Eve means mother of all living. And what is interesting is at that point Eve had not had a child. She had not yet become pregnant and he named her the mother of all living.

That means that Adam believed. The Bibleline is the Messiah. Jesus was the Messiah. They both believed that, as Eve evidences that in chapter 4, where when she had her first children, they were twins, Cain and Abel. She thought Cain was the Messiah. She says, I have begotten a man, even the Lord. She thought Cain was the Messiah. She was wrong. But they believed the coming Messiah was coming. As a result, God in verse 21 of Genesis 3 clothed both of them with the coats of skins of animals.

That’s a picture of Christ. An innocent animal had to be slain. Its blood had to be shed. And the coat of the animal became the covering that satisfied God. And in the same way, Jesus, who was without sin, was slain. His blood had to be shed. And his righteousness becomes the covering for the believer so that we can interheaven. We get his righteousness imputed to our account as a believer. So definitely, Adam and Eve were saved in this picture to us in Genesis 3.21.

And I believe that I’m going to be able to walk over and shake hands with Adam and Eve. Won’t that be spectacular? We’re going to go to David St. Petersburg, David. Welcome to Bibleline. You’re on there. The people out there that don’t think that we’re near the end times is a couple of news stories that’s all this morning on Fox News. Gordon Brown, the Prime Minister, just come out and said that he wanted to have a National The National D card, DNA, specimens, that’s Mark of the Beast type stuff.

It’s imperative that they have that. Another story is that over in Iran right now, they’re rounding up all the secular women that refuse to wear the headscarves and everything. And the third story is in Saudi Arabia, they are in the process of building a milder. mile high. Well, I’d tell you, every day the paper is full of things. That’s just amazing. Well, thank you, Dave, for sharing all that. And look at what’s happening with food now. Iowa is really the state that is known for growing all the corn and so on.

It looks like these floods have just wiped that out. I believe that the Bible talks about in the tribulation, famine. We’ve already given away all of our food reserves. We used to have so much grain and corn in storage and butter and milk products. And we’ve given it all away. We don’t have any reserves. And obviously, here we have problems coming. And one real concern of many is that, at least for a temporary time, our truckers may strike and because they just can’t afford to run their rigs with the price of diesel fuel.

And if that happens, I think our grocery stores will go empty, at least for a short period of time. And we’re going to get a real wake up here as to how these things that are happening in our economy are going to affect every one of us in a very real way when we go to the grocery store and find there’s nothing there because they didn’t get delivered there by the truckers who are the ones who really move all these products.

Thank you Dave for that call. We’re really living in the end times. I think we’re just beginning to catch the edge here of what’s going to happen which doesn’t look real encouraging. Although as a believer, we can smile because we know that we’re in the hands of the Lord and we’re going to be with the Lord shortly. We have Rod in Charles City, Virginia. He calls him, leaves this question off air. He says, is the rise of oil prices and the kind of American dollar part of Bible prophecy and will it end?

I absolutely think it is. And it’s going to cause obviously people to readdress this whole thing. And everybody is going to want to get that oil in the Middle East, which is what we’ll bring about Armageddon. The Bible says in Ezekiel that God would put hooks in the jaws of the nations to draw them in to the Middle East. And that’s exactly what we’re seeing now is that our focus is there and it’s going to happen. We’re going to go to now Ed in Spring Hill, Florida and Ed, welcome to Bibleline your Bible on your own ear.

Thank you, Pastor. I had a question about Matthew 633, seeking first The Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added onto you. How does that relate to? I think it’s a principle that’s always been true, that if you put the Lord first in your life, that God is going to take care of all of your needs. There it talks about our clothing and our housing and all those kind of things. I definitely believe it to this very hour.

If you put God first, God is going to take care of the other things that we worry about all the time. He tells us to take no thought for what you shall wear, what you shall eat, in the sense that we should not be filled with anxiety and worry over those things, but God will supply for us. So I think that’s a key verse for the Christian that we ought to put Jesus first and live for him and serve him and he’ll take care of our problems as they can.

come our way. Okay. And then the second question is about the Lord’s prayer. How does that relate to? Okay, I really don’t believe it’s for the church age because it’s a prayer for the kingdom. But I do believe that it’s a beautiful prayer and an example of how we should pray a teaching tool, but not to be repetitiously repeated. We’re out of time. Thank you for that call. We’re going to have to end it for today. But thank you for tuning in.

Again, pray for Bible and if you could help us, we are only supported through our listeners and so you could call and give a gift today and that would really help us and we would say thank you in advance to you.
