Lots of things in our Resource Center. We do have a book that we recommend so highly. Every prophecy of the Bible by John Walford. That’s an excellent book. Every prophecy of the Bible. Real thick about eight, nine hundred pages. And really, really a great read if you want to get a coverage of prophecy from one end of the Bible to the other. We also have wonderful books on theology. We have the basic theology by Charles Wreary. That’s a great book and a wonderful book to have on your shelf to be able to research different doctrines and things that will come up across your path.

It’s a great one to have. We also have these forms and coordinates. That’s the concordance. It gives you every word in the entire Bible, Bible every thee, every thou, every end, every butter, be shalt, and gives you by a number code system, the original Hebrew or Greek word, what it meant in the original house translated throughout your Bible. You’ll find that a very helpful thing. And we have the large print straws now, which the old straws was very difficult to read because you had to have really good eyesight, but a large print is wonderful.

That’s something new. And we have All these things you just call us for a resource you can be sent. We’ll mail it out to you and if you want you can go online and look at our resource center. Or if you’re in the area come by and drop in and actually visit our resource center and take a look at what we’ve got. We’re open every day till about 4.30 in the afternoon and by the way the third Sunday in August is coming up.

We’re having a dinner right after the morning service. Come be my guest. Come and bring your Bible, your family, your appetite. Join us for the 1030 service. for the lunch and guess what? This particular Sunday the 17th of August we’re having a baptism at three in the afternoon and if you have not been water baptized since you’ve been saved if you’re in driving distance and you’d like to be included we’d be delighted to baptize you. Call us get on the list to get the information and we’d love to have you be a part of that It’s going to be in a lake just nearby from the Bible and headquarters and we will immerse you.

That means we’ll put you under the water and come back up and it’ll be a believer’s baptism just like the Bible teaches. And as a believer, you want to give testimony in this way. It doesn’t save. The dying thief was never water baptized. If you died of more never water baptized, you would still be saved. It’s something that Christ has asked us to do an obedience to his word and there’s always a blessing When we’re obedient to the word of God, so Why not plan to be bought or baptized if you haven’t if your baptizes an infant doesn’t count?

If you were baptized before you were saved doesn’t count. There’s no such thing as infant baptism in anybody’s Bible and Obviously before you were saved doesn’t make You can’t get testimony to something you haven’t done yet. So obviously it’s a testimony of how you’re cleansed of your sin by the blood of Jesus Christ. We’re going to get into the Bible for a few minutes and then we’re going to take our callers and I hope that you will open your Bible and follow along with me as we talk about some wonderful, wonderful scriptures.

In Isaiah 48 we mention this the other day, God says that he knows that we are stubborn, verse 4, chapter 48 of Isaiah, because I knew that thou art obstinate and thy neck is an iron sinew and thou brow brass. God says I know you are stubborn, obstinate, brass-headed, iron neck, hard to be convinced, and so therefore I am going to tell you things, he says in verse 5, before they come to pass, so that you will know that God is the author of this book.

The Bible is no ordinary book. This book not only claims to be the Word of God, but it also demonstrates that it’s the Word of God by its accuracy and in almost every field. There are statements that are made that relate to science and we know they’re right on, absolutely right on. When you know today we are living in a scientific age and it seems like the Bible is catching up or rather science is catching up to the Bible.

The Bible is obviously ahead of science and for a long time science and the Bible we are out of tune. What is interesting is that back in the book of Genesis it says in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth, Genesis 1-1. Several centuries ago, men came up with the law of the conservation of matter, and they said basically that that law said that matter could not be created nor destroyed. Maybe you’ve heard of that law, if you studied chemistry you would, and guess what?

They said, based on that, that matter could not be created. where Genesis 1, 1 was wrong and for several centuries, men believed that the universe was eternal, that it had no beginning and had no ending, that the universe was eternal. That’s right. And so, Genesis 1, 1 was wrong that God created the heavens and the earth. They said, this is because matter cannot be created nor destroyed. Well guess what? Time moves on. And Einstein comes along and gives us that marvelous formula, E is equal to MC squared.

And guess what? That concept was taught in the Bible 3,000 years before Einstein never came along. In Jeremiah chapter 10 verse 12, it says that God created the universe out of His energy. That’s right. Well, what did Einstein say? Energy is equal to matter times the coefficient of light squared. That energy can be transformed into matter and the matter can be transformed into energy. And today we know that that’s true. And the Bible taught that about 3000 years. Einstein was 3000 years late in telling us what the Bible already said.

Well, also we find that James Hubble came along after which the Hubble telescope was named. And He pointed out that the universe was expanding outward. Well guess what, if you back up that expansion, it goes back to a point and obviously since matter can be created out of energy, there was a point in time when the universe exploded into being, this is oftentimes referred to as the Big Bang. Well guess what? In Genesis 1-1, the Bible says very plainly, in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

That is when the universe exploded into existence and the Bible has been expanding outward ever since and God created this planet upon which we live. The Bible really does precede modern science because today we find that as time moves along they actually discover the Bible has been right all along. DNA is another interesting thing today because they’re finding out there is no connection for evolution you know they just Examine the DNA from crow magnum man and they found that there is absolutely no connection between crow magnum and Humans that’s right the DNA does not match up I think they’re gonna find that between every species and evolution is gonna crumble and fall to the ground because there is no evidence evidence for any transition from one species to another.

Amazing! But we are being told things that are not true, that are really not scientific. And unbelievably, the Bible is right on, and as time moves along, science catches up with the Bible, and they discover, wow, the Bible has always been right. The Bible has been always right on. And we’re living in such an age today when it’s exciting to be alive and to see what is taking place in the way of discoveries that confirm the Word of God, not only in the area of science, which there are so many facts in the Bible that are amazingly accurate when they deal with different scientific topics.

And what it amazes me is the lack of scientific error. You would think if the Bible was written thousands of years ago, there were so many scientific inaccuracies that those would have been included in the Bible. Surely they would have made mistakes and included the scientific error of the time, but the Bible is clean. It doesn’t have scientific error. The Bible, whenever it speaks about a topic that covers a scientific area, it’s right on with what we know to be fact.

And if there’s a disagreement, usually it is what is said by science is not accurate and as time goes along they catch up. For example, as we said the other day, the earth is round, that was taught thousands of years ago. Well, obviously man was wrong and it finally came to light that man discovered that the The Earth was round, just like the Bible had said. And also the fact that the Earth was suspended in space upon nothing, Job 26-7.

And for a long time, men believe the Earth was held up by pillars or on the back of an elephant or on the back of Atlas. And finally the Bible was vindicated because today we know there is no visible means of support. The Earth is hung in space upon nothing exactly like the book of Job. says in Job 26, 7. You know, you don’t have to apologize for the Bible. It’s amazing how the Christians need to have some confidence and say, I know the Bible is the Word of God.

And as a believer in Jesus Christ, you ought to be able to say, I know that I have eternal life. I am certain that I’m going to heaven. And I know why. And it’s because I believe this wonderful book. Have you ever trusted Jesus as your Savior? Are you certain of where you would spend eternity? You know, according to the Bible, you can KNOW. You can know. 1 John 513 says, These things have I written? I’m to you that believe on the name of the Son of God that you may know K-N-O-W.

Not hope, not guess, not perhaps, not maybe, but you can actually know that you have eternal life. And my friend, until you know that, you probably don’t have it because this is what eternal life is all about. It is a gift received at the moment you believe and possess forever thereafter. And if you don’t know you have it, you probably haven’t received it. And it’s amazing how many people say they don’t know. You know when I talk to people, are you going to go to heaven when you die?

Many will say, well I hope so, or I think so, or I guess so, or I would like to, or I’m working at it. But the genuine believer ought to be able to say, I know. Get that verse down, 1 John 5, 13, these things have I written into you that believe on the name of the Son of John that you may… No, K-N-O-W, no that you have present tense everlasting life. I know right now that I have everlasting life.

How about you? But a lot of folks don’t know. And if you don’t know, then you have nothing to share with anybody else. No wonder Christianity is in trouble because nobody seems to know what they believe. If you don’t know whether you’re going to go to heaven or not or you believe you can lose your salvation, what have you got to share with somebody else? Would you go up to somebody and say, how would you like to be as confused and insecure as I am?

I’m so clever I’m going to go when I die. Well, you would have nothing to share with anybody so you might as well keep your mouth shut. But the effective Christian knows and is assured that they’re going to heaven because the Bible says so. A credible book that demonstrates that it is the Word of God and you can know that you’re saved, you can know the Bible is the Word of God, you can know that you’re going to heaven right now before you ever die if you trust Jesus Christ as your only hope of heaven.

I’m not going to answer this This is Bible and our phone number here. You want to call in this 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. And we’re going to go to Michael in New York. And Michael, welcome to Bibleline you are on the air. Hello. Hi, Michael. Yes, I have a question here. OK. On a certain show, Sid Roth’s show, for years, I’ve been hearing stories about miracles of healing, whether it would be paralysis or eyes restored. So I wrote them a letter.

I said, is there any proof of this? Because I don’t believe you should automatically hear everything. Believe everything you hear, although I would like to. It would be nice to trust everybody and believe everybody. But I said, is there any proof? Is there any of this caught on film in my letter, you know, and the response I got had absolutely nothing to do with my request, you know, are these stories in fact true? And other stories, it doesn’t seem, I don’t believe that you should just believe everybody.

I think you have the discern who’s telling or asking this or that. Don’t you agree? Absolutely. And the Bible, of course, also says that. And 1 John 4 1, it says, beloved, be not gullible. In a sense, it says, I don’t believe every spirit, but try the spirits who test them to see that they are of God. So you have to check out what they say against the Bible and see if it’s truth or not. I know that. There’s a lot of that in 1 John.

But how do you feel? If you heard all these stories from Sid Roth’s show, would you believe them? No. In fact, I believe that the so-called healing movement of today is a counterfeit and there is no genuine healing taking place at all. It’s a charade. I chase these meetings down. I went to one meeting where they promised they were going to raise the dead. And after they raised a lot of money, they didn’t raise any dead. And I was really disappointed.

Yeah. But do you believe God is performing some miracles? I mean, certainly God can and does perform miracles when it’s within his will to do so. But normally, God says that we’re going to get older and our bodies are going to fail and we’re going to die. We’re only appointed about 70 years to live on this planet and to expect to keep on in this body is unrealistic. done. So as we get older, we can expect that we’re going to have different body organs fail and find their heart or some other major body organs will fail and we’re going to die.

It’s just a fact. The important thing is to know that when you trust Christ, you’ve got a new body waiting for you in heaven. It’s eternal that will never die. And that’s where you want to spend obviously your eternity with the Lord and not separated from God in hell forever. But I know I’ve used to, in fact, there was a great time in the day of the day. A great article a number of years ago in the McCall’s magazine, a doctor took a year off from his practice and investigated some of the great healers of the time.

And he said after years worth of following around with their permission that he could find no evidence of healing whatsoever. And obviously there really isn’t anything any healing going on. And often times these people he found would injure themselves. If they threw away their braces, they would do damage or if they stopped their medications, they would also do damage. In fact, I had a friend when I was just fifteen who was Christian in science and they refused to let him take his insulin for his diabetes and he died as a fifteen-year-old.

And obviously, I believe the Christian science church murdered him. later thank god his parents came to know crisis savior uh… but that false teaching uh… uh… took his life as a fifteen-year-old boy that was so sad okay yet i hear that now one last question do you believe that there will be a christian revival before the end time before the rapture absolutely not uh… the bible says in second timothy chapter three uh… in verse uh… thirteen that evil men will grow worse and worse deceiving and being deceived.

There will not be a revival. And it goes on to say in chapter 4 that the time would come when they would not endure sound doctrine, but they would depart from the Word of God and give their ears over to fables and lies. And so I think we’ve seen that apostasy, that departure for the truth and the opposite of revival we see the disintegration of the church. Okay. alright thank you for my uh… for the call okay michael thank you for calling in from new york and uh…

listening up there i’m sure on the station out of you to go and albany that were on everyday all right we’re going to go down to jimmy and nashville ten a c and the jimmy welcome to buy one year on the air uh… i didn’t go to hang are you on the internet or you here’s on broadcast I’m going to the internet. Good. Okay. Bo Hanks, I got two quick questions I was going to ask you. Number one, can a unmarried man be a pastor of a church?

And number two, I was just wanting to know, like, when you first met your wife, how did you know that she was going to be the one that you was going to marry? Like my dad, he told me, like, the first time he saw my mom, she somehow, he knew that she was going to be the one that he was going to marry. they’ve been married for about forty-some years now. How does that come about? Would you say, Father, Christian and prayer should be the main part of it?

I know sometimes your emotions and feelings can get the best of you, but is there a way that a person truly knows that that person is going to be the one that you were going to marry? I believe you need to look for as many things to have in common as possible. As a believer, first of all, you need to look for another believer. So I ruled out anybody that was unsaved, not even on my radar. And then secondly, I wanted somebody who was going to serve the Lord and wanted to have the same passion I did for leading lost people to Christ.

So that was a high criteria. And so I began to look and the Bible says, who’s so fine with a wife. I think you have to look and you need to find somebody that is a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, but more than that, after that they need to be a dedicated person. If they won’t submit themselves to obey the Lord, then what kind of relationship are you going to have because they’re not going to obey the rules that God has set down.

And obviously that is a recipe for chaos. So you need to be looking for a believer, a Christian mate and somebody who loves the Lord and wants to serve the Lord. And that’s what I was looking for and that’s what you’ve got to have. Okay. And, and, and, uh, I’m married, man, can I marry a pastor of a church? I believe so. I think, uh, that, uh, there’s nothing to restrict him. You know, Paul was a great missionary. He had been married and he was widowed.

But, uh, obviously he’d ministered greatly and established churches and, uh, appointed elders and, and leaders of churches. But definitely you don’t have to be married, but it’s an advantage and I would certainly think that as a pastor of a church that somewhere along the line the pastor would become married. Well I did, brother. Thanks a lot. You’re very welcome Jimmy. Thank you for your call. All right. We have now Kerry in Bradenton, Florida and Kerry. Welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air.

Thank you very much. I just had a quick question to ask you. I had belonged to a church for about 11 years, and I passed to that very ill, and he stopped being the pastor, and we got a new one. And as a result, three forces of church left. The new one is, he seems to be preaching the words, but he’s very growing for signs, and just things that I’m not comfortable with. I can’t seem to find the church now.

What I think rounds is like listening to you on the radio, do I need to go to a building? Every church I’ve tried, either they have women in ministry, or they’re just not walking the walk. And I can’t seem to find one that’s my old house. It’s really difficult. I know. And we have an article I’ve written called Beliefs That Matter give you about 25 doctrines that a good church ought to embrace. Let me hold you over the break because we gotta go to break right now.

I’m Dr. Englund Sherman, this is Bibleline. We’re gonna take a short break, we’ll come right back and do a second half hour and we’ll reconnect here with Kerry in Bradenton, Florida. But we hope that you won’t change that dial. I’ll be right back after this short break and we’ll do a second half hour of Bibleline. Don’t go away, Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Well, I’m Dr. Inght Linstren. It’s great to be with you today.

This is Wednesday, and we look forward to being with you for all the rest of the week. And I hope you’ll join me every day. And I know we have so many that tell us that they listen every day faithfully. And we’re humbled by that. And we’re grateful that we can be a blessing in your life to bring you God’s Word and to encourage you and challenge you to open up your mouth and share the Gospel with your family, your friends and loved ones and to try to reach others in these final hours of the church age.

I believe Christ is returning quickly and it could be that we’re about out of time. Certainly the world news leads us to believe that we’re getting very close to the return of Christ. doing for heaven’s sake, right now on the earth. Well as a believer, we ought to be all engaging ourselves with the tasks that God has given us, especially to share this message with our friends, our family, our loved ones, and make sure to get saved. We need to be getting into the Bible so that we can have answers.

In 1 Peter chapter 3 it tells us that we are to be ready with an answer. When somebody comes along, we need to be able to know what to say. And here’s what I believe and why I believe it and be confident about it, and God can use you in a great and mighty way. Bible I’d want to be there for you, and by the way, we’re listeners supported the only way we can continue to bring this message to you on your station is to have the support of our listeners who allow us to be on the air.

We have no other means of financial support. We really don’t. And we count on our listeners. And if you could help us, that would be wonderful. In fact, here we’re in the summer, it’s a little bit lean, we’re a little bit short. If you could call and give a gift to Bible, that would be wonderful. And or if you’d rather write or send a gift in by mail, you could call and ask for an envelope to be sent with our address on it.

We’ll mail that right out and you can mail your gift in. You can also go to our online bookstore on BibleLineMinistries.org. Click on the online books for the place there for you to give a gift by credit card on our secure website. Thank you for tuning in and thank you for your words of encouragement. I want to thank all of you who do give and pray because you all are blessing. We’re going to rejoin the stations that have been on break and we have lots of colors and lots of questions to answer today.

Hopefully we’ll have a great time during the second half hour. Keep your radio tuned right where it is and we’re going to do a second half hour right now so don’t go away. Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Linz? If you’re a Lindstrom a question, you can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom.

Alright, we’re back from that break and this is Bibleline. It’s great to be with you. We’re coming to you live from Tampa, Florida. From our studios here at the Calvary Community Church in Tampa. We’re on the pastor. You’re welcome to come by if you’re ever in the area, from wherever you might live. If you come into Florida on business or vacation, take that extra minute and drop by and knock on our door. We’re a block west of the Tampa International Airport, easy to find.

And if you can find the Tampa International Airport, which you ought to be able to find, we’re right there on the west side, just one block west of the perimeter road that runs north and south on the west side of the Tampa Airport. And if you go over one block further, there we are at 4811 George Road. Come by and knock on our door. Say hello. Maybe come by on a worship day. And by the way, coming up the third Sunday, August 17th is coming up.

We’ll have a dinner. We do that on every third Sunday. And you’re welcome to come at 1030. Bring your Bible, your family, your appetite. Join us for the morning worship. And then stay for the lunch. And it’s a great time of food and fellowship. I’d love to be able to sit down with you. And by the way, we’re going to have a baptism this third Sunday at 3 in the afternoon at a late nearby Bible and headquarters. And if you have not been water baptized, we would encourage you to do so.

And if you don’t have a church home to have that baptism take place, you’re welcome to join our baptism and I’d be honored to baptize you. You can call and get your name on that list. We will be baptizing at 3 in the afternoon. What I recommend is you just come and spend the day with us. Come at 1030 for the worship. Stay for a wonderful lunch afterward. Then follow us to the baptism and that will be at 3.

Then you can head home wherever you might live. But I hope you will consider that and give us a call. And we will try to incorporate you into that baptism. By the way, our brochure for Israel coming up in February is on the website right now. If you’d like a hard copy mailed to you, you’ll call to give us your address. We’ll mail that out free of charge. But if you want to go to the website, go to BibleLineMinistries.org, go to the home page and just above the camera it says Bibleline News.

Click on that. Then it’ll say Israel Tour brochure. Click on that. And you’ll see the full brochure, you can print it out of your printer. But if you’d like to us the mail your copy, we’d be happy to do that. We’re talking to Kerry in Bradenton, Florida, having a great deal of difficulty in finding a church home. And that is a problem that we’re hearing so many people experiencing. And that’s one of the reasons why we put our worship service up on the internet, because we have so many that while they’re looking for a good church.

Sometimes it’s a lengthy search. They are watching our worship service. But of course, if you have a good church and you’d still like to watch our worship service, it’s available during the week. You’re convenience whenever you might want to watch. But I was talking about an article that I’ve written called Beliefs That Matter. And we have about 25 basic doctrines. When you go on a search, maybe you can sit at home and do it on the telephone and interview churches as the what do they believe number one do they believe the Bible is the inspired in errant word of God that this book In its original autographs is absolutely without error.

Do they believe in the Trinity and God exists in it sir as three separate Eternal persons God the father God the son God the Holy Spirit Do they believe in the deity of Christ that Jesus Christ is God he took on human flesh and we go right through through twenty-five basic doctrines that a good church ought to embrace. If they don’t, then you probably need to move on and try to find another one. But I’d recommend that. We can send that to you.

But also in the meantime, certainly we hope Calvary will be, in Bibleline, will be your place of worship until you can find someplace, Carrie. Thank you. I hope that helps and you can call back and ask us to send that sheet. We’ll be glad to do that. Do you have internet access? I do. I do. But I have one more question. And I don’t want this to sound bad because I believe in the gifts of the Spirit. And I know that it’s possible to be slain in the Spirit.

But what about when they do that all the time, like once a month, they have a service just so you can be slain in the Spirit? Is this what that wants us to do? I think absolutely not. There’s nothing in the Bible that talks about people being slain in the Spirit. The only references I see in the Bible where people fall backward and are knocked down is of unbelievers. I think maybe it’s a subtle tip-off that these people aren’t saved because that’s what I suspect when that happens.

If you go to John 18, you find Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane. You see Judas coming with soldiers, Roman soldiers, and they’re unsaved. And when Jesus comes out and says, whom are you seeking? And they say, Jesus of Nazareth, Jesus uses his divine name, I am. And it says they went, they fell backward. And they went down to the ground. And I believe he blew them right off their feet. And I think it only happens to unsaved people.

So I don’t know of safe people having that experience. And by the way, I have people in my church that have back injuries from going down like that. One lady, her arm was broken between her elbow and her shoulder and she still has difficulty with that. She screamed out in the meeting and she fell back against the pew and broke her arm. They told her to shut up and they dragged her out of the meeting because she was disturbing it.

injure more people than they do good to and I think this experience is not of got it all. So they scare me and some of these people are making terrible sounds that don’t sound like human sounds and then other than laughing like the rolling around the floor laughing and the whole thing scares me. I never said Jesus to that or any of the people to that. No if that’s the kind of church you’ve been going to I get out in a heartbeat I think that’s totally It’s not scriptural.

There’s nothing in the Bible that says that we should have that kind of an experience. And this is, I think, an experience that really is a subtle way to let us know these people don’t know the Lord because it’s unsafe people who go falling down in the Bible, not to believe it. Right, right. Even the rest people. That’s right. Yes, yes. Well, good. And I’m glad I was right. I don’t like to sit and judge and people and get mad at tears about them, but I also don’t want to go to church who scares me.

I don’t mind that you shouldn’t be scared because the Bible says the Holy Spirit gives us a sound mind and it’s a spirit of peace, not confusion. First Corinthians 14 says Satan is the author of confusion. When people are falling down and things are going crazy, you can know that’s not really the spirit of God. Thank you, Kerry. And God bless you. Bye bye. that was Kerry and Bradenton Florida were now going to Gregory in my Annie Florida and Good morning.

Gregory, welcome to Bibleline. You’re on here. Good morning Dr. Lindstrom. How are you? Good. Good. I have two quick questions for you. The first one is in reference to the fall as a result of items for we all inherited his sinful nature. So if you were witnessing to somebody and you were telling them that and they were responsible to you as well. do anything uh… i’m not guilty uh… uh… that’s not fair how would you how would you respond to that well obviously it doesn’t matter what they believe about what happened with Adam.

Right now everybody that you talk to is a sinner. All you have to do is ask if you ever told a single lie And if they will admit to that, which most people will, then Revelation 21, 27 says, one lie would disqualify you for heaven. No sin, not even a single lie can enter into the presence of God. That’s why we need a Savior. And when you trust Christ, he, the Bible says, justifies you or declares you righteous based upon his substitution or death of your place.

Christ took all your sin and paid for them past, present, and future. When you trust Christ, His righteousness is credited to your account. And it’s on that basis that you’re able to enter heaven. So there’s not really much debate there. Everybody has done something wrong. And nobody hasthe Bible says all have sinned and it comes over and over again. So if you meet somebody who claims that they don’t sin at all, I would say they’re a liar. What’s the basically?

It’s not so much about, it is the fact that we all have in their inheritance and hatred, but the fact that you could prove to them that they have to send themselves. That’s all you have to do. You don’t have to prove the connection. Back to Adam, although it’s true. Although it’s true. Everybody is a sinner. What’s your second question? My second question is, on Colossians chapter 2, when it talks about don’t let anyone judge you in respect to the Holy data, the new moon and the Sabbath page, is the Sabbath day in that scripture a direct reference to the Fourth Commandment or is it a reference to the biblical weekly feast?

Can we use that as a verse to combat the Seventh-day Adventist? Sabbath days and that’s good. Yeah, it’s talking about the fourth commandment. It’s talking about the Sabbath day. It says it was a shadow of things to come. These were all pictures and types of the things that would happen in the future. Just as the, it was a seven day re-creative week and on the seventh day the Lord rested. It speaks, I believe, of 7,000 years of human history and we’re almost at the end of that.

If Adam were here about 4,000 years BC, there were 4,000 years or four days of history. since Christ have been two thousand years or two more days. So we’re at the end of the six days and now there is a seventh day coming up that’s called in the Bible again and again and again and again. The day of the Lord, it’s a thousand year day where the whole earth will be at peace and the Lord will be here on the earth, ruling the earth and bringing about this peace that will be from one end of the earth to the other.

And so the Sabbath was a foreshadowing of God’s plan to bring peace on earth, good will toward Ben, and that’s the millennial kingdom that’s coming up ahead of us. Probably. Yeah, we know that, but I have debated with some 70 advantages and they say that that’s Sabbath and Colossians 2 is a reference to the sabbatical week these days, not the literal Seventh Day of Fourth Commandment. Well, you know… You know, they’re law keepers. And as long as they try to keep the law to be saved, and the Ten Commandments and the Fourth Commandment is a part of that law, the Bible says that no one, it says in Galatians 11, but that no flesh is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident.

So if they’re trying to be justified by the law, they’re going to go to hell. It’s unfortunate the seven-eyed minutes are lost, they’re working their way to heaven and they’re obviously out of sync with the Bible. They have this crazy doctrine called the investigative judgment. And they say that in one breath we’re saved by grace, in the other breath, they say Christ is investigating our works in the heavenly sanctuary and he’s deciding whether we’re worthy of grace, which is nonsense.

I mean, grace is not earned. The Bible says that grace and works are opposites and we’re saved by grace, which is in the absence of any human merit or contribution. I’m afraid these people are trying to work their way to heaven and they’re not going to be there and then they have so many end doctors soul sleep the fact that there’s no hell they read the Bible through the lenses of LNG white they need to throw all her books away.

I’ve got them all and Huh? They’re all through branches and they’re all I consider McCult All through branches? Yep 7 Edmonds are bad. You need to stay away from them and their teachings are wrong. They really say that Satan is the ultimate sin-bearer. They use the story from the Old Testament where the sins are laid on the goat’s head and sent out into the wilderness. And they ultimately believe not Christ, but Satan is the sin-bearer, not Jesus. not jesus i mean their doctors are really really convoluted and it’s all because of a woman that uh…

started that whole thing ln g line they need to get rid of her and get rid of her books This read the Bible and he’ll complain. But there was a weekly feast called the sabbatical. We were there actually. The the with the bible says right in the very first we just talked about in classes two sixteen let no man judge you in respect of a holiday so that is all encompassing of the feast days The Sabbath and everything and then it says specifically don’t let anybody judge you concerning the Sabbath the Sabbath was a prophecy of fulfillment Will be coming place in the millennium and it’s we’re not under the law All right, well, I’m glad you call it and and we need to pray for those people.

It’s a wonderful people In the movement, but they’re deceived and they’re afraid reading. Here’s the problem that people have. They read books about the Bible and they don’t read their Bible. And they read L. G. White, but they don’t really read their Bible. The Jehovah’s Witnesses read the Kingdom Hall literature, but not the Bible. And on and on it goes. We have so many that are reading things about the Bible, but not the Bible itself. The Bible is the Word of God.

That’s the book that ought to be in your hand. But right Right now I’m holding a Bible. I’m not holding a commentary. I’m holding a Bible. And I have tons of books. I love books. But I’m careful to make sure that the Bible is the main book. And every book I have, I judge in the light of Scripture, not the other way around. They judge Scripture through the light of L.G. White, not through the Word of God. Gregory, thank you for calling in for Miami.

The phone number here by the way is 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. We would love to have you give us a call. I’m going to try to take some of these off-air questions. We have so many. We have a no-name caller from campus that says, what will Christians be doing during the thousand-year reign of Christ? Well apparently Christians will be not only celebrating this wonderful deliverance of the earth from the curse and the peace that God will bring upon the earth but also the Bible says that we will be back in our glorified bodies and ruling and reigning with Christ.

So we will be assisting, we will have jobs to do and we will be serving Christ during that time and it will be very enjoyable. Thank you for that call. We have done in St. Petersburg and he calls in and says in 2 John verse 1, who is the elect lady? In verse 13, who is the elect’s sister? It’s really unknown. Some speculate, but I don’t think it’s necessary or the word of God would have included the answer there for us in that verse.

But the point is the teaching that’s in the book, not necessarily individual persons, the focus is not on them, but it’s upon us. It could be, it’s referring to a particular woman and her family, but it’s not really known for sure. Hopefully that helps a little bit, not much she’ll probably, but we’ll wait until we get there and have a look to find out. We have Rosemary in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania, and she says Hebrews 927. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment, it says Paul says we will not all die.

Those who are raptured do not die. Well you’re absolutely He writes, Rosemary, and there is an exception to that verse. Obviously, there will be a group of people who will not die. Of course, you see that in type in picture in the Old Testament where you have Enoch who never died. Hebrews 11 confirms that and says that he was just translated. He was taken up to meet the Lord and a picture of the Rapture prior to Noah’s flood. as we will be taken out before the Great Tribulation Period.

So we find Elijah who never died, caught up in a fiery chariot. And so there have been exceptions. And the big exception is those that are alive at the event of the rapture, that whole group of people will never die. Jesus spoke about this in John 11. If you go to John 11, the chapter where Jesus rose Lazarus from the dead, He told Martha, he said, I am the resurrection and the life. He the believeth in me, though he were dead yet shall he live.

But notice the next verse, verse 26. He jumps ahead to the rapture and he says, whosoever liveth and believeth in me, that is those that are living and are believers when Christ returns, whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Shall never die. So there is a group that will never die and I hope that helps. Thank you Rosemary from Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania. We’re now going to go to Pearl. She’s in Brownstown, Indiana and Pearl. Welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air.

Yes. I have a question about body piercing, your wings and just body piercings. Guess what? Leviticus 1928, write it down Pearl. Leviticus 1928, it talks about how you’re not to print any marks on your body and you’re not to make any cuttings in your body. So body Many piercings and tattoos are in violation of Scripture. That’s Leviticus 19, 28. Write it down. We shouldn’t be doing that. It’s amazing how the world is all of a sudden becoming pagan in the sense that we’ve departed from the Bible and from the rules that God has established.

I think it’s like we’re feeding. God created us and He created our bodies. you put marks all over them and you start cutting them up and making cuttings in your body, you’re defiling and defacing the body that God gave to you. I think Leviticus, 1928, ought to solve this forever. Okay, thank you much. Glad you’re listening up there in Indiana. Okay, I’ll listen to it every day. Good. Thank you, Pearl. Pearl in Brownstown, Indiana. We now have Kevin in Miami, Florida.

Kevin, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Hello. Hi, Kevin. You’re on the air. Yes. I want to ask a question about marriage. Go ahead. Yes. If someone was married before, then the husband cheated on them and they got it aboard. Do they give her the right to remarry again? Yes, you’re able to remarry, huh? Is the woman able to remarry? Well, the innocent party is the one that is free to remarry. If you read Matthew 19, it’s the one who is not guilty of adultery.

The innocent party is able after that divorce to remarry. Oh, give me the adultery during the time of separation before they gather the divorce. Well then obviously they should probably remain single the rest of their lives. But people, you know, they go on and remarry sometimes. We’ve just lost it. If you read Matthew 19, God said he never intended for divorce at all. But because of the hardness of their hearts in the wilderness, he allowed Moses to give a writing of divorce because of the evil heart of man.

And so he did a law for it, but it’s not what got intended. And I think a lot of this comes about from the fact that people in her into marriage not recognizing that this is a lifelong commitment and also the fact that they don’t work at it. They don’t both apply themselves. That’s why it’s important, I think, for a believer to find another believer. And then not only to find a believer, but somebody who is dedicated to pleasing God.

And if the two are saved and dedicated to God, then I’m sure they ought to be able to solve every problem through Christ. So hope that helps a little bit, Kevin. And there’s a great book out. We’re hoping to have it in shortly. If you want to get it, you can call and place an order for it. It’s called Divorce and Remarriage by Chuck Swindall. We should have it in our resource center next week. So call and ask for that and that’ll be a good treatment to answer all your questions about this.

We’re not going to go to Bill in Lansing, Michigan. Bill, welcome to Byline. You’re on the air. Hello, Pastor. Pastor, I ain’t caught you doing it. Yeah. now i would just want to make a comment i was going to i couldn’t put it in a form of a question so uh… in the book In the Bible it tells about New Jerusalem coming down 1200 miles by 1200 miles by 1200 miles otherwise a cube. You realize if you put a floor in that every 10 feet you have three and a half times the surface of the earth.

Yeah, it’s quite large. It’s very often fact it’s it’s actually 1500 miles by 1500 miles. miles. It’s a very, very large city. And somebody calculated that if there was just millions of millions of millions of believers, he was quite generous, that everybody would probably have about 200 cubic acres to himself. Yeah. She’s got to think about it. Say if you put a floor like every 10 feet, that’s three and a half times the surface of the earth. That’s a lot of area.

Yeah, it is. That’s amazing, huh? I went to meet that comment. Okay, well thank you Bill and you’re absolutely right. I personally believe the new heavens The New, the heavenly Jerusalem, the heavenly city will actually come down and orbit the new earth because it’s going to be a huge body. It’s actually larger than the moon. Well, we’ve got to run. Time has just run by us here today, but we’re glad to have been with you. I hope you have trusted Jesus as your Savior.

And if you haven’t just tell the Lord Lord, I trust Jesus right now as my only hope of heaven. I believe he died in shit as bud the pay for my sin.
