We are excited about all the things we have in our resource center.
We have some marvelous books. We have got one called Every Prophecy of the Bible by John Walbert. It’s a big, thick thing in dynamite information covering the prophecies throughout the whole Bible from Genesis right through the end of the book. And you’ll find that as a treasure of a book. We also have a book called Things to Come by Dwight Pentecost, which is probably the classic book about prophecy and the different positions that people hold and what is right and what is wrong and that’s a dynamite book as well.
We’ve got of course the Scofield Bible in English, we’ve had it in Spanish, we’ve got the old Scofield which is the only one we’d like to start because it is the one that’s the most accurate. If you go to your Christian bookstore you’ll probably buy the wrong one because they don’t stock the old Scofield Bible any longer. In any case we’re glad that you’re tuned in today. If you have your Bible there you’re going to want to take a look with us at the Scriptures and we’re going to turn back to the book of Isaiah where we have looked at some interesting passages here in the Old Testament where God tells us that we’re obstinate, brass-headed, iron-necked, hard to be convinced and so God would tell us the future before it would come to pass so that we could know that the Bible is the word of
God. I want you to look with me in Isaiah chapter 41, where God gives a challenge to all the world religions. He says in verse 21, produce your cause, say of the Lord, bring forth your strong reasons, say of the king of Jacob. In other words, why should we believe in a particular belief system? oftentimes don’t even check out what they believe and they wind up believing a fairytale and nonsense. And God says, produce your cause, saith the Lord, bring forth your strong reason, saith the king of Jacob, this is Isaiah 41-21.
Let them bring forth and show us what shall happen. Let them show the former things, what they be, and let we may consider them, and know the latter end of them or deliver us things for to come. Well, the Bible is amazing because, you know, when you really challenge the world religions, they fall flat. The Bible not only tells us about the past accurately, but also tells us about the future accurately. It just doesn’t make any mistakes. And that is the mark of the Bible being written by God because only God can do that.
You know, the writings of the world religions failed in the area of science. For example, in the writings of the Vedas, the Hindu writings, they say the earth is triangular in shape. The Bible doesn’t make that mistake. The Bible says about 27 hundred years ago that the earth is round in in Isaiah chapter 40 verse 22 and Yet the writings of the Hindus say the earth is triangular It is made up of seven layers one layer of sugar one layer of honey one layer of fire one layer of water and so on obviously not true at all and And obviously when you have a rural religion produce their facts, their best evidence, they fall flat.
Even those writings say that the sun and the moon are two torches in the heavens. Well, you might consider the sun a torch in the heavens, but not the moon. And the Bible doesn’t make that mistake. The Bible is very clear to tell us that the moon does not shine, that it’s a reflective body and it reflects the amount of light that comes from the sun. If the sun is dark and the moon doesn’t shine at all, and you see that relationship even when it talks about the return of Christ, that the sun will be darkened and the moon shall not give her light.
Well, the Bible talks about the sun being a source of light, but the moon being a reflective body, Job 25.5 says the moon does not shine, it is not a source of light. The Bible just doesn’t miss, and yet the world religions have error left and right. In fact, the core end can’t even get simple facts straight. The core end says in one place that God created the earth in six days, in another place the the core and teaches that God created the earth in eight days and they can’t get it right.
And so many other things that are just glaring errors and contradictions within the book. But the Bible is a book without contradiction. We believe that all of the Scriptures from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22 are inspired of God, infallible in Aaron, and God given God breathed that he’s the author. What we have here is a book that can be trusted. Well, it says in verse 23 here in Isaiah chapter 41, show the things in this challenge to the religions of the world, show the things that are to come here after.
They can’t do that. They can’t tell the future. The Bible is the only book that genuinely tells the future without error. It’s absolutely incredible. None of the world religions do that. There are merely collections of proverbs and axioms, and none of them even really are rooted in history or fact that you can verify and check. But the Bible is, and it says here show the things that come here after, that we may know that you are the truth. Yay, do good or do evil that we may be dismayed and be hold it together.
Let me point out something here. In Isaiah 41, God tells us His verdict about all the world religions. It says in verse 24, Behold, you are of nothing and your work is of not an abomination is he that chooses you. God is not a respecter of religion. God says, you It says here are of nothing and your work is of not and abomination is he that chooses you. So God here tells us the answer in advance as you actually challenge the world religions.
They can’t produce. They don’t get it right. They are inaccurate and false and it’s easily shown. With the Bible when you take that same challenge to the Bible, it’s amazingly accurate. The fact that the earth is round, the fact that God created the earth out of His energy, the formula that Einstein came up with, told about 3,000 years before Einstein ever comes along. In Jeremiah 10, where it tells us that God created the universe out of His energy. We find that hundreds and hundreds of facts which today we know to be scientifically true are in the Bible thousands of years ago, way before man ever knew them or ever discovered them.
That’s why I believe the Bible is the word of God. And the Bible is accurate no matter what it talks about, whether it be history, geography, astronomy, medicine, you tell me the topic and the Bible is accurate concerning that topic. And that’s what God is saying here in Isaiah 41. He says, I know you’re difficult to be convinced. I’m going to tell you things before they come to pass so that you can know that I am the author of this book and that this is indeed my word.
In the same wonderful book of Isaiah, in chapter 53, it gives us the Gospel. It gives us the story of the death and the barrel and resurrection of Christ. It talks about his substitute-share payment. Let me just quote for you verse 5 of Isaiah 53. It says, He was wounded for our transgressions. Speaking of Christ at the cross. He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes we are healed. What a concept!
There is no word religion that offers a Savior. The Bible is the only one that tells us that God would come to the earth, take on human flesh, and that he would be wounded for our transgressions. He would brew me bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement of our peace would be upon him, and with his stripes we would be healed. Verse 6, as all we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned everyone to his own way, and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
There you have the substitution of your payment. We are sinners, we have gone astray, we have done our own thing. But God took our iniquities and laid them on Christ, and he paid for them. When you see his death, you see his burial, you see his resurrection all there in Isaiah 53, 740 years before Jesus came the first time. We’re looking forward to him coming the second time, and it could be at any time that he would first come at the Rapture, and then seven years later to come back to rule and reign and finally bring peace on earth.
Good will toward men. What the angels announced that the first coming of Christ was postponed because Christ was rejected but will take place when he comes the second time. I’m Dr. Englunds from This is Bibleline. I hope you’ve trusted Christ as your Savior. If you haven’t, you need to do so and you can do it right now. You could say, Lord, I’m a sinner. I don’t understand much about the Bible, but what I’m hearing makes sense, and I put my trust right now in Jesus Christ as the one who died for me was buried and rose again from the dead, and I trust Jesus Christ right now as my Savior, as the one who died and by his shed blood and his death purchased my salvation, and I trust him right now to be my only hope of heaven to be my very own Savior.
The moment you do that, my friend, God saves you. We’re going to go to the phone lines at phone numbers 1-800-576-3771. Guess what? We have on 9-11, September 11, Gershaun Solomon coming from Jerusalem to Calvary Community Church and he is the one who’s been cutting the stones for the Third Temple. My friend, if we’re close, the temple has to be rebuilt. I believe it will be built right after the Rapture and we are going to have the very person who has been cutting the stones here to tell us about it and how close we might be to that event taking place.
Now he doesn’t believe that Jesus is the Messiah who has already been here and is coming back. He believes that Christ on the Messiah is coming for the first time but according to the Old Testament prophecies just like you and I would believe Christ has to come back to a temple. And if there’s no temple in Jerusalem, Christ can’t come back. And so they know they got to get that temple built because Christ will come back suddenly to his temple, now the guy 3-1, one of many many verses.
And so we believe… We’ve got to be getting close that the preparations for putting that temple up have been made. This is the man that will tell you about how they kept the stones and how they’re ready. And as soon as the rapture happens, I believe the temple will be built and Jesus will come back seven years later and in dwell that temple and establish his rule here on the earth. I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Here we go to the phone lines.
We’re going to go to Bell, Glades, Florida. That number’s 1-800-576-3771. And Nathaniel, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Nathaniel, are you there? Good morning. Good morning. I have a leaf man here. Go ahead. One of the questions that I would tell them about is that they were in the Bible. They are in heaven. I can’t show up in the Bible. Another question is about committing suicide. suicide and I told that far, I committed suicide and also you know, I found myself from committing suicide, but she told me that he didn’t, he didn’t commit suicide.
Well, she’s in dying fact. The first question of course is that all the Old Testament saints died and went to Hades to paradise in the heart of the earth. The Hebrew word is Shiel, S-H-E-O-L, the Greek word is Hades, and there was a a place for the lost and a place of flame and torment, a place of fire, but there was also, across an impassable gulf, a place called Paradise, where all the Old Testament saints were. When Jesus died, He went into Paradise, and on the third day, when Christ rose, He emptied out Paradise and took it up to heaven.
You can read about that in Ephesians 4, 8-10, through ten where it says, wherefore he that ascended up on high, what is it but that he first descended first into the lower parts of the earth, and when he ascended he led a group captive up to heaven. So the Old Testament saints had to wait for their sins to be paid for before they could actually enter heaven. And so when Christ died he went into paradise, proclaimed liberty, and let the prisoners, The captives out of paradise and took them up to heaven.
You could read about it in numerous Old Testament passages, how it would happen in the future. Isaiah 61-1 tells us about the Messiah and how that he would set these people free and he would proclaim liberty to them and that they would be taken up to heaven. Today all the Old Testament saints are in heaven and when we died, this side of the cross were absent from the body and were present with the Lord. are numerous examples of suicide in the Bible, but again it goes back to you believe the gospel or not.
God gives eternal life to those who believe on Christ, and Jesus says in John 6 37, him that come with to me, I will in no wise cast out. That’s right. So there is no exception clause. You’re not cast out for suicide or for telling a lie or stealing something, that doesn’t mean we have a license to sin or that we should commit suicide. But even if we did, we would still be saved eternally because Christ will never cast you out for any reason.
And in verse 39 of John 6, Christ promised that he would not lose one person that comes to him. It’s God’s will that not one person would be lost. If one person were ever lost after they became saved, then obviously the Bible would be wrong. Christ would be a liar. We’re now going to go to Vince in Ruskin, Florida and Vince, welcome to Bibleline, you’re on the air. If the patch of ancient things would it mean when the Bible reads that God will give us the desires of our heart?
Well it means, if you read Psalm 37 it says the light that is also in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. Two things, I believe it means that God gives desires that are godly, that He will give to us. Then also then He will meet those desires and give you those desires. It doesn’t mean that just anything that you presently know desires are going to happen. You say, I want a million dollars. Well obviously He may not give you a million dollars.
But God, when you become saved, when you become born again, gives you a brand new birth, a new nature and plants within you new desires and your new birth, your new nature desires to please God. And as you serve Him, God will then give you the desires that your heart desires, which really is from God. I hope that helps explain it, but I believe it’s twofold. Plants desire in you. And then he also satisfies those desires as a believer as you live for him.
Well, say I wanted to move to Seattle and circle. That’s my desire. Now that you shouldn’t be doing that, you should work where God’s got you at. Where God has you at. But my desire is to move out there to the northwest, serve him out there. Sure, good for you. Maybe God has planted that desire in you. And that’s what I’m saying. And then he will fulfill it for you. So I would follow that lead and go. And because that’s the way God works.
I’m Dr. Englundstrom and we’re coming up on the end of the first half hour of the program and again we want to thank God for all of you our listeners and how God is blessing Bibleline and again we’re closing out August and we really do need some more help to finish out this week and close out August on our feet. I hope everyone has trusted the Lord and is saved and is going to heaven and who knows. But we’re getting close. I believe if you look out of our world today, the signs are everywhere of the Lord’s return.
And I wouldn’t doubt that he would come for us, maybe even this year. I’m not a date-setter, but wow, it sure looks like he’s coming quick. We’re going to take a break. We’re going to come right back. I’m Dr. Inchlinstrem and don’t go away, but we’re going to take a break. Come back and do a second half hour of Bibleline. Stay with me. I’ll be right back. We’re going to rejoin the stations that have been on break and do the second half hour of Bibleline so I hope you’ll keep your radio right where it is and here we go. Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. All right, we’re back from that break and this is my wife and it’s wonderful to be able to be with you We just heard a Few days ago from the manager of our flagship station here in Tampa that the arbitron ratings came out and that Bibleline is the number one show on WTBN in Tampa that means that more people are listening to Bibleline than any other their program on AM 570 and 910.
So if you want to raise your hands in the plot that’s sure welcome and God bless you the audience that are enjoying this program and making that happen. Thanks again. We’re excited about what God has for us and you know if the Lord were to come this year he would probably come on the Feast of Trumpets which is September 30th in October 1st. It’s a two-day celebration and according to the Bible there will be a number of the blowing of the shofar over that two-day period and on the final day as it approaches sundown and the conclusion of those two days of celebration of the Feast of Trumpets they will blow one long blast on the shofar and it’s called guess what the last Trump is right it’s called the last Trump you’re reading the Bible.
It says at the last trump that’s when we go up. Wow! So if it’s this year, it’ll probably happen on October 1st and that’s exciting to the amount we’ve got maybe a month left until Jesus comes. Now I’m not saying he’s coming this year. You can roll the tape back and know that I didn’t say that. But we should be watching and looking and what if he did come this year? Are you watching and looking? Certainly the events in our world today leave us to believe that Christ is coming soon.
And guess what? We know that Israel is back in the land for the first time in 2000 years. We know that they desire to build their ancient temple again. And guess what? We have coming to our Bible and headquarters at Calvary Community Church, Gershan Solomon from Jerusalem. He’s coming here to share with us what’s going on. He has been cutting the stones ever since the Six-Day War, and things are ready for the temple to be erected. I was just there in February.
Our whole group got to see the menorah made out of 92 pounds of gold made into one solid seven-branch candlestick that will go into the temple. We saw the implements for sacrifice and the garments of the priesthood. Everything is ready. All we have to do is have that temple be rebuilt. I believe it will happen right after the rapture. If you want to meet this gentleman and hear him and shake hands with him, come on 9-11 at September the 11th.
Can you imagine 9-11? You’ll be here on a Thursday night at 7 o’clock and you’ll be able to actually hear these things. Now if you live in another city and you can’t be here, we’re going to videotape it. It will be made available to you and we might webcast it at a later time, maybe the following week. But we want you to know that you can come and that will be at 7 o’clock on September 11th, 9-11. Gershaun Solomon coming here from Jerusalem and will tell us and he is a friend.
I have had him here before. I think you will enjoy this exciting update on the return of Christ and the rebuilding of the Third Temple. Happening right here in just a couple of weeks he will be here. In fact it will be two weeks from tomorrow night Gershaun Solomon will be here with us. We’re not going to go to Bill in Clearwater Florida and by the way the phone number is 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771 and Bill, welcome to ByBlinear on the air.
Thank you. You have a question? Yes, and that before people are saved, they think that they can work all these good works and everything to get into heaven. We know that’s not true. Yet when we become saved, the verse in there that says, just because every time that I would try to do everything through faith and everything, but on God’s part of working through my faith, it didn’t work. So it wasn’t dead. Yet the more I continue in my faith, what works are we talking about that are dead?
Okay, well, what it’s talking about there is that we ought to be working or living for Christ. It says we are co-labors together with Christ in 1 Corinthians chapter 3, and obviously He wants us to read our rivals. He wants us to fellowship with other Christians. He wants us to pray. He wants us to share the gospel with the lost. He wants us to give of our time and our talents and our treasures for his eternal purpose. And so there are many things that we can do here on this planet.
And that means to be a good employee if you’re an employer, if you’re an employer, to be a good parent, a good husband, a good citizen, that were to follow the rules and to be a witness while we’re here in this world going through. James is talking about how that if we don’t have any works that we’re going to suffer the loss of reward. If you notice verse 14 of chapter 2 of James it says, What does it profit my brethren?
He’s talking to believers and he’s saying, What profit will you have? That’s rewards at the Judge and Seed of Christ if you have faith that you have not done any So, basically, your works, my works, are a way of having treasures in heaven. And as we invest in our time and our talents and treasures for the Lord, God will reward us when we stand before Him one day. And James is saying that if you do not have works and only faith, it will not save you from the consequences of that judgment that believers will stand on.
You will suffer loss of reward. You will be ashamed. You’ll experience regret. You’ll experience sorrow. You’ll experience tears. And Christians will obviously regret the fact that they didn’t live for Christ if they didn’t after they become saved. So as a believer, we need to get going for God. I remember, as a brand new believer, having this taught to me so that I knew I was responsible not to live for Christ. And so I realized, whoa, I need to get going right now because I said, I don’t want to enter heaven and have no rewards and to be ashamed and not have God be pleased with me.
The Bible tells us with some believers, he’s going to say, well done, thou good and faithful servant and patch on the back and be proud of you. But with other believers, he’s going to say, you’ve been a lazy servant and a ashamed of you. You haven’t done anything for me, and I don’t want to be found in that category and I don’t think you would either. So as a believer, as you read the New Testament, you’ll find that it talks about the things that we can do.
And obviously, we are to share the gospel. That’s the great commission. Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to every creature. So every believer has an opportunity to earn rewards in heaven by whatever you do. If you read the Bible five minutes a day, you’re going to be rewarded for those five minutes in heaven. If you pray five minutes a day, you’ll be rewarded for that. But I believe your whole life and your whole day should be focused on the Lord.
And you can be used at your worksite. You can be used in your home. You can be used of the Lord throughout the day to bring glory to Him as you share the gospel and are a good testimony before others of Christ and as a result I draw many others to become saved. I hope that helps but that’s what it’s talking about there in James and I think Bill is listening to the radio and it’s kind of hard. We’re now going to go to Lawrence in Hollywood Florida down in South Florida and Lawrence welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air.
Hello, Lauren. So are you there? Yes, good morning, Pastor Hank. Good morning. What is the, what’s considered a definition of heresy? Well, heresy is to deny the wonderful truths of God’s Word. To teach, for example, salvation by works would be a heresy. To teach that Jesus Christ is not God who took on human flesh and appeared here on the earth is heresy. To deny the blood of Christ. as the means by which our sins are washed away, is heresy and so on.
So it’s a denial of the basic essential teachings of the scriptures. Yeah, I have a question. Okay. So you had a major doctrine for 1800 years and then it was changed completely. Well, that would be considered a heresy. If the doctrine was changed to become correct, that wouldn’t be. Well, that’s all questions. But what I’m getting at is this pre-tribb rapture teaching. I see. Well, the Bible has been clear since the get-go. If you read the Bible, it tells us that we’re going to go out first, and then the tribulation period will follow.
If you read 1st Thessalonians, chapter 1, verse 10, it says, we’re to wait for his son from heaven, which has delivered us from the wrath to come. So if the tribulation period were first, it would say we have to wait for the wrath to come. And then Christ will deliver us. But we are to wait for Christ who has delivered us. So He comes first. And that’s clear throughout the Scriptures. So obviously the position that we go out at the end of the tribulation period or there’s no rapture is the false doctrine.
And so the heresy is to say that we have to wait for tribulation, not wait for Christ to come back. So Christ is next on the plan. If you read your Bible all the way through it’s telling us to wait, to watch, to look for Christ to come back and that He is the blessed hope. And it says in Titus chapter 2 and verse 14, looking for Jesus Christ to return. We’re to watch for Him. Hebrews 12 verse 2 says, looking into Jesus, the author and the finisher of our faith.
He is the one who is coming and we are watching for that event to take place. I have a comment. Go ahead. The wrath is punishment. Punishment is for unbelievers. Tribulation is for the saints and he said you will have tribulation. Well, I think you are mixing things up here. Now the wrath is for the unbelievers and you are right. the rapture, the tribulation period will be God bringing judgments upon the sun-saved world. And we’re going to be brought or taken out of that and not experience it.
But in this world even now we still have tribulation and we’ve always had that. There’s certainly going to be struggles in our life and the devil is going to give us a hard time. And it says in 2 Timothy 3 that if you will lived godly in Christ Jesus, you’re going to experience a tribulation and trial in your life. And James talks to his readers back there in chapter 1 2000 years ago when you experience tribulation or trials to rejoice.
Counted all joy because this is the way we grow and this is the way we develop and this is the way that we become matured and able to be effective witnesses for Christ. But nowhere does it ever tell us that we’ll go through the tribulation period. That’s not even for the Church. It’s for the Jews. And you’ll find this called in Jeremiah 30, the time of Jacob’s trouble. So the Church, the body of Christ, will be raptured out at the Feast of Trumpets whatever year it takes place.
And then God will revert back to dealing with Israel and they will go through a time of great trouble and we don’t belong in that period at all. It’s the last seven years of the Old Testament and the church age will complete itself before that happens. Thank you Lawrence. It’s a great point you’re bringing up. We’re now going to Ken in Miami. Ken, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Hey, Hank. Good morning. Good morning. Listen. was uh… you know i’ve been listening to john macarthur on in the morning saying yes sir and uh…
you know i i think i’ve been born again since i was nineteen on forty five now not that that means anything I listen to John MacArthur for years and I hear you when it comes to salvation and discipleship and whatever. I just wanted to, it seems like, and I’ve heard you say it as well, and not maybe in this form, but there’s really three avenues that are preached. You hear people, one, they try to come to Christ through the law, which we know that doesn’t work, and then you have grace, which is the way of salvation, God’s grace.
And then you have those preachers that preach what I call a hybrid of the both. You have grace and law together where we get Galatianism. And you know, the Apostle Paul, he made it clear in Colossians that we’re completing him. I think every sermon, at the beginning of every sermon, we should tell God’s people, I have nothing that you need. What I see in the John MacArthur preaching, if I may, is that he, like all advertising, their goal is to find a hook or something that is needed that brings appeal and obviously macarthur seems to be very controversial but i i really believe it’s known as a pyramid preaching because what they do is they they preach over people a superiority trying to make them seem as if there’s something that they need more than christ that there’s something else that they must have instead of preaching the person of christ himself and his
grace Well, I think I would agree with you there. And obviously, when we trust Jesus as Savior, we’re saved forever. We’re complete in Christ. There’s nothing missing, nothing that has to be added, nothing that has to be done. Jesus on the cross said it’s finished, it’s done, it’s paid for. And now, of course, we are free, under grace, to live for Christ, and serving out of the goodness of our heart as we’re grateful for what He’s done for us.
and with not any worry about whether we’re going to be saved or not, whether we serve him or not. I’m saved and I serve the Lord not because I worry about maybe I won’t go to heaven if I don’t serve him, but because I’m grateful that he gave me eternal life and that I am complete in Christ as you say. And now under grace I can just spend my life serving him because I’m thankful and grateful and I want others to know about Christ.
It’s a shame because I really believe that he divides the body and personally I really feel it’s a way of, he’s always got a book to sell, it’s always about how you can lose your salvation or what you’re not doing instead of focusing on the person of Christ and what he’s done instead of what we think that we have to do. Well I agree and I’m concerned I believe that that is false teaching that we’re saved by grace and kept by grace and that we don’t need anything else once we become saved.
We are complete in Christ and that we now have just the privilege of being able to shine for Him, to be alight for Him, and to witness about Him in this world as believers who can tell people with assurance. I know I’m saved, I know I’m a child of God, I know I’m forgiven, I know I’m on my way to heaven because Jesus Christ completed the payment from my sin. He delivered me from the power of sin and has translated me in the kingdom of his dear son and I am his and I am his forever.
Amen. Thank you Ken. Appreciate that call from Miami and we are now going to go to Terry in St. Petersburg. Terry, welcome to Bibleline you are on the air. Hello, Dr. Heinke, how are you doing this morning? Good. I was wondering, as I’m seeing Russ flexing her muscles, when do you think the chapters in Ezekiel 38 and 39 take place? Because commentators have differing opinions of the 50 and or mid-trip or pre-trip. What’s your take on that? All right.
Well, we know Russia will come down against Israel. And I’ve read lots of different things, But it’s clear that Russia will come down and it’s at the Battle of Armageddon. It’s at the end of the tribulation period. It’s at actually the second coming of Christ. If you read verse 1, 2, 3, 4, 4, 5, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 19 and 20 of Ezekiel 38 it says, For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel.
That’s when Russia comes down against Israel. Verse 20 says, so that the fishes of the sea and the fowls of the heaven and the beasts of the field and all creeping things that creep upon the earth and all the men that are upon the face of the earth. And here’s the phrase you want to get, Terry. It says, shall shake at my presence. That’s clearly when Jesus comes back that this event takes place. they’ll shake at his presence. And of course then he comes back to restore Israel and to dwell on the earth and bring peace on earth.
Good will toward men. So it’s clear that the end of the tribulation period and I could go through a long discussion as to how people make a mistake here and say the middle of the tribulation or some other time. But it’s clear from the context without going any further. It’s at the very presence of Christ when he gives back. Yeah, I guess they argue about that Russia is just coming from the north or some allies. We’re at Armageddon and it’s all the enemies of the world at Jerusalem.
You know what I’m saying? Exactly. And when Russia comes down, Russia triggers it off. And so that’s why Russia is such an important player. And the fact that Russia now has come into Georgia and is basically telling the world that we’re going to do what we want to do, period. And the Dopodorus is a first step as Russia moves south to Israel and then obviously will happen I think in the near future. If the rapture were to happen this year, seven years from this year would Russia move into Israel and then Christ would come back and at his presence he would shake the earth in a great shaking where he will defeat the armies of this world and establish his kingdom here on the earth of peace on earth.
Yeah, it sure seems like it mirrors what happens at Armageddon Very loud at all no doubt about it. Thank you Jerry. Okay. Thank you Terry in Saint Petersburg We’re now going to go to Linda in Spring Hill, Florida Linda. Welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air Good morning, Dr. Hane. Good morning. I Have a comment and a question I’ll give a comment first. I think you know you were talking about about the Feast of Trumpets and how exciting it might be if the Lord returned this year.
And I was just going to put it out there for the audience that they can go to. It’s just prophecy in the news. And if they click on the mark built, it’s a part one and part two, and it gives a wonderful explanation about the, it’s an asianic pastor. And it gives a wonderful explanation about the feast, all the different feasts. And he gives a great explanation about the feast of trumpet, the last trump, what it really means, the feast in the night.
And when Jesus says, no man knows the hour, or the day or the hour, but my father. and what tradition, how that reflects to the bride, groom going to the father. And it’s really exciting. And it gives that overview of the moon turning to blood red in the lunar. And he did a search with Nassau and decided to go back and look and see if he could find anything. And here it was all the way back to when Joshua and the men went and spied the land and how they rejected God’s for vision, it’s really great.
And I think they’d really being with so close to the next piece of trumpet, they get a very beneficial thing out of it. And then my second was a question. And I was listening to another tape by Jimmy DeHaan, and so this made me question. In Revelation, when we’re talking to like the Laodicean Church, especially, And it’s a church. In 17 and 18, when it begins to talk about their breaking about everything they’ve got, but then he says they’re wretched and they’re poor and they’re blind and they’re naked.
And then 18, he tells them to go by. They’re gold tribe with fire, which I’m assuming is their salvation. No, it’s rewards. These people are saved. They’re saved, but they are not living for Christ. They’re all caught up in the materialism of this age. And that’s the way it is today. Churches are caught up into it and it’s all about money. It’s about materialism. And he says you’re naked and wretched and blind. And he says in verse 19, as many as I love I rebuke and chasten.
The Bible’s clear. in Hebrews 12 that got only Chasin’s believers. And so he’s going to Chasin this Latter-day Church. Hopefully that they might turn back to him and serve him right up until the Lord comes. But then he snatches us out. But you’re right. The Old Testament tells us in the different feast days exactly what will happen here with the return of Christ and it’s exciting to be living right now. We’re out of time. I hope everybody has trusted Jesus as their Savior.
Again, I am hating to talk about money, but we definitely want to come out of this month on our feet, not having any bills. And so, would you be willing to consider giving a gift to Bibleline?
