He’s got everybody tuning in to Bibleline. We’re thinking about a trip to Israel coming up February 23rd. If you would like to go, call and get a brochure set out to you. We’ll send it out today. We hope that you’ll give it some serious thought. If you can, you really need to make a decision, put at least a deposit down by 1 October, because the airline doesn’t guarantee to hold the seats after that. But I’m sure you probably could still go, but it gets a little bit risky when you don’t have a guarantee of a seat on the plane that we’re going to be flying on.
So keep that in mind. It will be trip number 16 for me. We will be looking at Israel from top to bottom, east to west, and it is exciting. We had so many wonderful times there earlier this year, and we look forward to doing that again. We will be doing our radio shows from Israel. And we did that this past year, past two years in fact, and we will be doing that. It ought to be a lot of fun, and we hope that you will come along with us.
If you’d like to do more than just the 10-day Israel, we have a 7-day extension that leaves seven days earlier and we’re going to go to Egypt. We’ll go to Cairo and we’ll go to the Pyramids. We’ll go to the Cairo Museum. We’ll be staying on the Nile River in a beautiful hotel in the middle of the Nile on an island and we’ll take a dinner cruise on the Nile River. It’s going to be a spectacular trip. We’re going to retrace the exodus by traveling along the exodus route along the Red Sea.
We’ll go up to the. A city of a lot, which is an Israeli vacation spot where they have people coming from all over the world of scuba diving in the water just crystal cleared full of life, teeming with life. And they have a special aquarium there where you go out on a pier about a half a mile out into the Red Sea. there they have a glass enclosure and the people are enclosed in the glass and the fish are free.
I’ve done that and it’s really spectacular. We’ll drive in, you know, right there at a lot, Egypt and Israel and Jordan all touch each other. And we’ll drive into Jordan and go to the Rock City of Petra where the Jews will flee from the Antichrist during the tribulation period. When we get all done with those seven days, we’ll then drive into Israel and meet the group coming from the United States for the 10 day Israel trip and it will be a total of 17 days if you do the full trip.
You could get the brochure and make your choice. Also we want you to know that we have Gershan Solomon coming on September 11th. That’s 9 11th. September 11th. He is the man that’s the head of the Temple Mount Faithful and He has been cutting the stones of the Third Temple now ever since the Six-Day War. I think you’ll really enjoy getting an update on where we are as far as the rebuilding of the Third Temple. That’s seven o’clock on the 11th of September.
9-11 we’d love to have you come if you’re in the area. If you’re not, we will be videotaping that and making that available on a DVD for those of you that live in another area, but we hope that if you’re in driving this, you’ll come out to see Gershan Solomon in person on September 11th, that’s 9-11. Coming up real quick, so keep that in mind. Also we want you to turn your Bible now and we’re going to talk about the Bible for a few minutes and then we’ll be taking our callers and if you want to call in the numbers 1-800-576-3771.
1-800-576-3771. Turn if you will to Malachi chapter 3 verse 1. And we find here, this is an amazing verse that talks about the second coming of Jesus Christ. And it says in Malachi 3 1, Behold I will send my messenger and he shall prepare the way before me and the LORD whom ye seek shall suddenly come to his temple.” What is interesting is the Bible is very clear that when Christ returns seven years after the Rapture, at his second coming, that he will come back to a temple.
There is no temple in Israel today. So obviously the second coming could not happen today because a temple has to be built first. And obviously the Jewish people, even though they don’t accept prices, they’re saviour, know that for their Messiah to come back, who will deliver them, he’ll be the great deliverer, that he can’t come until they get that temple built. So they are really right now doing everything to get that temple ready. And we have seen the preparations I was there just a few months ago and we saw the Manora made out of 92 pounds of gold, one solid, seven-branch candlestick, and we saw the other implements for worship and for the priesthood and so on.
And things are getting ready right now as we speak. And the temple though, I don’t believe will be built till right after the rapture. Now not only that, but once the temple is built, there will be offering sacrifices again, and the Antichrist will wind up visiting that temple as the counterfeit Christ. Look at you will at 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 and it says in verse 4 about the Antichrist, 2 Thessalonians chapter 2, verse 4, this man of sin, the son of predition, the antichrist, it says here who opposes and exalted himself above all those called God, or that is worshiped so that he as God, siteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
So here we learn that the Antichrist, and this by the way will happen in the middle of the seven years of fibrillation, the Antichrist will go into the temple. He will stop the blood sacrifices from being offered. He will proclaim to the world that he is God and demand to be worshiped and leave his image. 796 The perlEPA The Antichrist will enter in. He will rule them as the counterfeit Christ from Jerusalem as Christ will one day rule the earth from Jerusalem for the last three and a half years of the tribulation period destro Then at the end of the tribulation, at the end of that seven year period that follows the rapture, Christ will come back out of the heavens, defeat the Antichrist, and Christ will enter the temple.
And He will cleanse it, and He will establish His kingdom from that temple in Jerusalem. Exciting stuff, though not about it. Let me go back to Daniel chapter 9, and you’ll find here that Daniel, one of numerous Old Testament passages talks about three temples. The first temple was built by Solomon and that was the most spectacular and that of course was destroyed in BC 606 by Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon when he came against Israel. We find that when the Jewish people were then carried away into Babylon for 70 years when they came back they built the second temple and that second temple was standing when Jesus Christ came 2000 years ago.
That second temple was oftentimes called Herod’s temple because Herod spent 49 years in beautify it and making it absolutely gorgeous. And so Christ came into that second temple and was rejected by the leadership. By the way, he came into that temple and he threw the many changers out over through the tables of the many changers. He cleansed the temple. It’s kind of a mini picture of what will happen the second coming, but he will obviously come back and cleanse that temple again at the second coming.
Well, this amazing prophecy in Daniel chapter 9 tells about how that sanctuary, the second temple, would be destroyed. Let’s take a look here. Daniel 924 says, 70 weeks of years are determined upon thy people, that’s DanielMsg people, and upon the holy city, which is Jerusalem, to do six things here, to finish the transgression, to make an innocence, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy.
So those six things will be fulfilled in 70 weeks of years or 490 years. Now what is interesting is that 483 years brings us to the first coming of Christ and he is rejected, he dies on the cross, he pays for our sins, he goes back to heaven. There’s a gap right after the 69th week or 483 years from when the temple here would be rebuilt and then there would be seven more years that would occur that is the tribulation period that we talk about so often.
So in any case here, the 70 weeks of years, or 490 years, would be counted from a commandment to restore and rebuild Jerusalem. Look at verse 25. Know therefore and understand that from the going forth of the commandment, to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until when the Messiah comes shall be three score and two weeks and 7 more weeks or 69 weeks of years, which is 483 years. That commandment was given after the Jews had been carried away captive in the Babylon after the destruction of the First Temple and while they were there for 70 years when they came out, they were allowed to return back to Israel and God told them that there would be a commandment given to allow them to rebuild Jerusalem and the Temple.
While they were to start counting, and if they counted exactly 69 weeks of years or 483 years, Jesus would have come. It says in verse 26, Then after the three score in two weeks, shall Messiah be cut off? I believe that speaks of His death, His crucifixion. But not for Himself, He didn’t die because of anything He had done wrong. He died the pay for your sins and my sins for the sins of the whole world.
It says that the people of the prince that shall come, and that’s the people out of which the Antichrist would come, would destroy the city and the sanctuary. So it tells us your Jerusalem and the temple would be destroyed, and that happened in AD 70. So you have the first temple destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar, BC 606. The Jews carried away captive into Iraq and to Babylon for 70 years. They come out of the captivity, they’re allowed to go back to Israel, and the commandment is given to rebuild Jerusalem in the temple.
They go back and they rebuild it. And then at the end of 469 years from that commandment, the second temple is destroyed by Rome as Titus, with his Roman legions, came in 8070 and destroyed it. But there’s one week still hanging out there. And in between, God has now turned to the Gentiles in this church age that began at Pentecost and will end at the rapture. And in talks in verse 27 about a third temple where the Antichrist will play a major role in that temple and he the Antichrist verse 27 shall confirm the covenant with many Jews that are back in the state of Israel for one seven year period.
And in the midst of that seven years, he will cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease. So he will stop the sacrifices, and as we read over there in 2 Thessalonians 2, 2 verse 4, he will proclaim that he is God and demand to be worship, and he will continue to rule then for the last three and a half years of the tribulation period. When Jesus comes back at the end of the Tribulation, He defeats the Antichrist, cleanses the temple, and as we began today in Malachi 3.1, the Lord whom you seek will come suddenly to His temple.
And that’s the second coming. And now you know the rest of the story. I’m not very interested. I’m going to go to the phone line so we certainly hope that you’ll give us a call if you’d like to be up on the air with us. 1-800-576-3771, that’s 1-800-576-3771. We have Chris in Boston, Massachusetts. And Chris up in Boston is listening to Bibleline and welcome to the program, Chris, you’re on the air. Oh, Dr. Hank, are you sure? Good, good.
I actually, I’ve looked at every day in the school and certainly now, and I was at the I actually put a couple of my friends on who the individual that I wanted to but listen to it. So I think they listened pretty frequently. So they had a couple of questions because they know that I listened every day. They had a couple of questions when they wrote that. I asked, do I have one of my own? So my Hindu friend asked me that I really, I think they were.
Why do Christianity consider the only way when there are other? Well, really that’s not true. They’re not prior to it because From the very beginning, God always had announced his plan of salvation even with Adam and Eve, and then Abel knew about the need of a sacrifice and brought a lamb. And if you read Hebrews 11-4, he brought a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, who really was the one who started the first religion and did it his way and brought the fruit of his hands rather than a blood sacrifice.
And it says there that Abel was righteous, not because he offered that sacrifice, but because he believed in the sacrifice that God would make in the person of Christ that was typified by the sacrifice that he brought. And you go right on through Genesis and Jesus is there all the way. And so obviously God at no time didn’t have his gospel out there for people to believe and to accept. So it is the oldest one. It goes right back to, in fact, before the creation.
The Bible tells us in the New Testament, before the foundations of the earth were laid. Jesus Christ was slain as God foreknew what would happen and purpose that Christ would die on the cross and shed His blood to pay for your sin and mine. So that’s obviously not true. And the only way is, of course, through the Messiah, through the blood sacrifice of the Lamb of God, which is Christ, and only by trusting Him can a person be saved.
Okay. Yeah, next question I have, I guess it’s my, my friend said, you know, he couldn’t believe in Christ. He said you can’t reconcile the fact that if you believe in Christ, that you can go ahead and say if you don’t believe Christian life. He said, just because I believe he doesn’t believe he’ll be saved, he said you’ve got to follow, quote-unquote, Christian life. He’s a God of an idiot to say, blindly, to believe when he said you have to put in the practice, it works with my father to be saved.
truly and believe. Well, that’s the concept of being an all-religion’s teach, and obviously it’s a salvation by human works. But you see, the Bible teaches that every one of us in the human race are sinful, and there’s nothing that we can do that isn’t affected by our sinful nature. Therefore, every good work that we do, not only our sins, are filthy rags in God’s sight. Isaiah 64, 6 says we are all as an unclean thing and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags.
So God says we have nothing to offer him. And so obviously that’s why God said he would purchase our salvation for us. And so that’s what happened at the cross. Christ paid the total sin debt for you and for me and for every man, woman and child that would ever live by giving his life and shedding his blood to pay for our sins so that he can offer salvation as a gift. So it’s not based upon our works. Usually we think we have to work our way to heaven.
Most people think that. And I thought that prior to my getting saved. But salvation has nothing to do with works. It says in Ephesians 2 and 9, it’s not of works. Let’s hit him and shit, boast or brag. In Ephesians 2 and 8, it says it’s not of yourself. You find in Romans 4 and 5, it says to him that does not work. but believe it on him to justify that godly and the neat thing about this is that you can detect all the counterfeit real easy because every world religion has the common denominator that you have to work your way to heaven and even the christian counterfeit says you have to work your way to heaven and you can know it’s false as soon as you hear that because the the true plan of salvation is where god says you can’t work your way to heaven
and that i’m going to do for you what you could not do for yourself I’ll come and become the sacrifice for you, and I will die in your place.” Isaiah 53 tells that whole story, 740 years before Christ even came the first time. It tells us that Christ was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our inequities. The chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes we were healed. 6 says in Isaiah 53, all we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned everyone to his own way, and the Lord hath laid on Christ the iniquity of us all.
So it was all foretold, and it was all there right from the right get-go, nobody has ever been saved by works, and works won’t save anybody. That’s why we need a Savior. And Christ is that Savior we have to trust in Him, therefore, to be saved. Right. I’ve been thinking that this is for all that question. Wouldn’t it make sense that you should believe first and foremost in them? I mean, follow what you’re saying. Well, you know, we choose to serve the Lord after we believe as a means of showing our gratitude and thankfulness to the Lord.
And God also says as we serve Him that He will reward us for our faithful service. So rewards in heaven, degrees of reward in heaven, and blessings here on the earth are based upon our obedience and our service to God after we become saved. But if we didn’t serve and didn’t do a thing, we’d still be saved because if we trust Christ, He gives us salvation as a gift. You know, at the judgment seat of Christ in 1 Corinthians 3 in verse 15, it says, if any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss.
loss of reward, but he himself shall still be saved, yet says my fire. So here it anticipates somebody who does nothing for God after they get saved. They have no rewards in heaven. All their works are burned up. They have nothing to show for their Christian life, and yet they’re still saved, according to 1 Corinthians 3.15. 15 Okay. And Dr. Hank Lindstrom, I have a team of Boston, Massachusetts. We have a pre-seam. My name is Father Tom Deeler. He has a holy rosary ministry.
I’m in church, but I’m near Boston, Logan Airport. And that’s a little top bet me, but he does. For certain hospitals, people bring sick people to him and he sort of does speak in tongues of his own, and he does heal people with their minor aches and pains, reading if they’re paralyzing and for feasting some people who will live in some here and there, but is that possible or is that just, yeah, that’s what he intends, but I’m sure that he said, yeah, that I can go through him, it’s all good.
Sometimes he can’t speak in tongues. Yeah, that I believe is a counter-fitly. Nobody really is speaking back. difficult tongues today. This is all a counterfeit. It’s a gibberish that nobody understands. And it’s interesting that this healing phenomena is universal among even all the world religions. And it’s not really of God. So I don’t have time to cover any more on that because we’re at the end of our program here. But I’m Dr. Inclincian. This is Bible and we’re coming to you live from Tampa, Florida.
from our students here in Tampa. And if you could help Bibleline, we could use your help. We’re finishing up August and we still are a little bit short. We could sure use a gift to help pay the bill so we are on every station and don’t have to drop anybody. So if you could call and give a gift to Bibleline today by credit card, that would be a blessing. And I want to thank all of those in advance for their gifts and prayers to Bibleline that make this program possible.
If you want to call it as for an envelope to be sent in mail a gift you can or you can also on our online bookstore. There’s a place where you can give to ByBlind as well. But we could use your help and it would be wonderful to come out of the summer. I’m not having to be behind anywhere. So pray for us. We’re going to take a short break on Dr. Inkland’s room. We’ll come right back into a second half hour.
So keep your radio tuned right where it is and I’ll be right back to do a second half hour of Bible Life. Don’t go away. Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Well, it’s so great to be with you. I’m Dr. Englund Sherman. I hope you’re enjoying the program. And thank you so much for tuning in today. We are coming to you live out of Tampa. And sometimes, like in this last caller’s case, the phone call was not a good connection.
And I think it was a cell phone or something else that caused a little grief. But we tried to do our very best. And I think it was very interesting to talk to Chris from Boston so we kept that call on the air. But keep listening. And hopefully you’ll get a chance to get up on the air with me if you’d like. And we have a lot of callers waiting now to be heard in the second half of the program.
Again, we want to remind you that we do need help by malign is listeners supported. And we’re trying to finish out August and we’re a little bit behind. We could use your help today. If you could call and give a gift by credit card, that would be so appreciated. And you can also call and ask for an ombre to be sent. And mail your gift to Bibleline if you’d like. And so give that some thought. and hopefully you’ll be able to help us.
We’re talking about an Israel trip. If you’d like to go, I’d love to have you go with me. It’ll be trip number 16 and we’ll leave on February 23, 2009. If you don’t have a brochure call today, give us your address. We’ll mail that out right today. And you can also look on the internet to our website, BibleLineMinistries.org. Again we’re Reminding you we have a resource center if you want to come by during the week if you’re in driving distance You can visit and take a look what we’ve got and we’ve got so many helpful helpful Things that will help you in your Christian life You can also go online and click on our online bookstore and you’ll be visiting our resource center We have the Scofield Bible, which is what I recommend and we recommend the old over the new we use the 1909 or 1917 editions But after that, the publishers changed the notes and changed a lot of things and added notes that are not even by Dr.
Schofield. Many of those new notes I just agree with. And so you get an inferior Bible if you get one of the older ones. So we only have the old Schofield Bible here in our bookstore and I hope you will take advantage of that. Also we have Bible dictionaries, we have commentaries, we have concordances, and so many things. Great gospel tracts that really work that lead people to Christ. Many of my CD teachings, I have about 40 series of 10 or 12 hours of teaching on different books in the Bible and different topics.

And if the Lord doesn’t wrap sure us out this fall, we’ll plan to go.
I hope you’ll be on board with us. We’re living in an exciting time and we have Gershaun Solomon coming here September 11th. That’s 9-11. It’s 7 o’clock in the evening. It’s a Thursday and Gershaun has become friends over the years and he is coming from Jerusalem. He’s in Orthodox Jew. He was there on the Temple Mount when Mosheld I.N. conquered Old Jerusalem in 1967 and they came to the Temple Mount and we find that he has had this vision of getting that Temple built and cutting the stones ever since.
So it’s wonderful and we’re excited and we pray that you’ll come and be a part of that meeting on September 11th. And if you can’t be here, we will be videoing that and making it available on a DVD that you’ll be able to see later, and I think you’ll really enjoy. So keep that in mind as well. 9-11-7 p.m. Thursday night, we’ll have Gershahn Solomon right here to tell us about where we stand about the rebuilding of the Third Temple, which I believe will happen right after the Rapture.
I think we’re close. I think everything is done. It just is a matter of the rapture happening and then a political decision. We’re going to go to the phone lines. We’ve had some very patient people here waiting. We’re going to go to Paul in Clearwater. And Paul, welcome to Bibleline. You are on the air. Yes, Dr. Lindstrom, about the law of the rest of the prophecy is somewhere in the Bible. The Bible says that’s in Malachi chapter 3 and there are talks about giving to the Lord and and see if God will not bless you for your giving.
And so that’s the answer for you. Malachi chapter 3, are you? Probably looking in the New Testament. Yes, yes, I was. Well, that also… Is that also anything in the Old Testament? It transfers over to the New Testament because it says God is the same yesterday and today and tomorrow. Well, almost the right, but I mean, the principles are always there and are true. This was really healing with giving under the law and the tithe in Malachi, which were not under the event today, but still the same is true.
true as we give the principles the same that God will bless us and reward us for our giving Christ said in New Testament, lay it for yourselves treasures in heaven. And we do that by giving of our not only our time and our talents, but our treasures which is our money. But that’s Smell like I three verse ten. Do you ever see what I’m looking for? Thank you very much and thank you for your ministry and something. Well, wonderful.
I’m going to come to you every day and thank you and God bless you Paul. God bless you. Thank you. We’re not going to go to David down in Miami Florida and David, welcome to Bibleline you are on the air. Okay, hold on. Yeah. It’s her and you’re down and you’re on the air David. Yes, I’m uh, okay Bible I was I’m glad you made that point about the school field Bible because I have one of those the new ones And I was kind of disagree with some of the stuff they have in there and I’m very good because some of the notes in the new Scofill I totally disagree with Yeah, yeah, and if you don’t you wouldn’t know because they don’t identify those notes as not being by dr.
Scofill and I think That’s almost like a deception. I’m sorry they did that they should have identified them and said hey these are new notes were adding them uh… doctors go for nothing to do with them but they didn’t do that they it’s kind of like that being dishonest they just threw them in there as though they were doctors go feels notes but uh… what i wanted to ask you was uh… you know in glacial talk about you know if if any man pictures Christ you know he’s to be a curse but uh…
we have a problem right now in our church uh… well uh… you know, some of the people are disagreeing with some of the things that the pastor is doing, but far is his preaching aspect. He’s preaching the word. He’s drawing people to Christ more than himself, but some of the people feel that he has an attitude or not really affecting the church. So, paying up and let you answer that, well, how should we as a church handle that in a godly manner?
Because, you know, like I say, he’s preaching the word. I mean, he’s not drawing anyone from Christ, and he’s not drawing anyone to himself by no me but you know he just kind of you know give your points on that and I’ll hang up and let you have that question. Well first of all every pastor is a man and every man is human and obviously they everybody has some faults with things that you may not really like but it says in as far as As a congregation is concerned, if you join the church, you should submit yourself to the leadership.
And I think if you have some elders or leaders in the church, they need to sort this thing out. And church members can be disorderly and cause trouble. And they should be disciplined. And of course if the pastor is out of order, then obviously that’s another ballgame. It needs to be dealt with by the church leaders. But it says here in 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 in verse 12, it says, we beseech you. We plead with you brethren to know them who labor among you.
you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you. In the season verse 13 you are to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. And then notice the last phrase in verse 13 of 1 Thessalonians chapter 5, and be at peace among yourselves. Wow, if that was followed then obviously you wouldn’t probably have a problem at all. So they should esteem the leadership and listen to them and to be at peace among themselves. Then if you turn to Hebrews chapter 13, it says in verse 7, remember them which have the rule over you who have spoken unto you the Word of God.
That just doesn’t mean any pastor, but those who teach the Word of God, those that are true to the Word, it says whose faith follow considering the end of their conversation or that means their manner of behavior. Number 70 says, Obey them that have the rule over you and submit yourselves for they watch for your souls as they must give an account. And it says here if you do that, then they may do it with joy and not with grief, for that is unprofitable for you.
So Christians sometimes can be like cannibals and devour each other and that shouldn’t be. there needs to be a way of dealing with problems and if you are unhappy you might have to find another church. But otherwise the problems need to be dealt with within the church and there should be some leaders who would be able to mediate and solve the problems. Sometimes it could be the church members that are the problems that some are causing gossip and are unruly and then disorder caused in the church by them.
But sometimes it can also be a pastor who’s out of line. So it’s going to have to be dealt with by whatever leadership you have in your church. And I hope that helps. Thank you so much for your call. OK, we’re now going to go to Peter and Peter is in Miami. Peter, welcome to Bibleline You’re On The Air. OK. Hello? Yeah, Peter. Yeah. I was just calling. I have a couple quick questions that are related to one another.
I know we talk about how Jewish people don’t believe Jesus came yet. I know there are certain categories of Jewish people though the messianic Jews that do believe that he came or they do believe that God came and died for them. My question is you saying that God will give the Jewish people that don’t believe in him a second chance? That’s why I’m getting impression that you’re saying that even though they don’t believe that God came and died from already he’ll give them a second chance.
I didn’t say that once you die it’s forever too late for anybody Jewish or Gentile, but in a sense that once the Rapture happens Everybody on the planet hits another chance for seven years to trust the Lord If you don’t trust the Lord by the end of the seven years and when Christ comes back into second coming It tells us he will destroy all unbelievers on the earth. He will judge the earth and every unbeliever will be slain and they will obviously be cast into hell.
But right now everybody has an opportunity, but if the rapture happens and you’re an unbeliever you’d be left behind, but you’d have seven more years to trust the Lord. But at the end of that, your time is up. There’s no more opportunity, but if a person dies, it’s too late. There’s no chance for somebody who dies without Christ there for ever laws. laws but if you are a believer when you die then you’re going to be forever with the Lord also rapture and get to a so God’s not going to take out those people that don’t believe in him he’s gonna let those people stay behind but he’ll give them seven more years so the people that make it to rapture are actually kind of lucky to get two chances there you go we’re out of here okay thank you all right thank you Peter and my
Emmy and we’re now going to go to Brad in Clearwater Florida and Brad welcome to Bibleline you’re on the I have a question for you. I think I know your viewpoint on mixed saving at the home of a Christian. In all my years of almost 49, I’ve never heard any creatures come in on what they think about mixed saving at a public swimming facility. facility. So I wanted to get your response on that so I’ll end up and listen to you by radio.
Okay. Well, you know… I think you make swimming. I don’t think we’re talking about bathing here. Basically, the Bible teaches modesty. And obviously, by a bathing suit, I ought to be modest as well. But I don’t see any problem with having both sexes present. But there are some churches that will not allow any females to be at the beach or the pool at the same time. or males there and vice versa. And generally, you have a whole list of rules that go even beyond that.
But as long as people are dressed in a modest agency, there’s no, I don’t see a problem at all. And it’s an unusual world when you impose all kinds of rules that are not really in the Bible. You won’t find anything in the Bible. But when you use the term mixed bathing, that’s another thing. sounds like you’re taking a bath together and that sounds like nudity and that sounds like another ballgame and I would say that would not be the thing to do between opposite sexes.
Hope that helps and thank you for your call. We’re now going to go to Sue in Miami and a lot of Miami colors here. Sue, welcome to By Blind You’re On The Air. Good morning. Good morning. Can you tell? I’ll hang up and listen to your answer but can Can you tell me if we will know each other and have them and give me some verses on that? Alright, we’ll certainly do that. Thank you so much Sue for calling in.
You know, in 1 Thessalonians chapter 4, which is the chapter about the rapture. There the people in Thessalonica were concerned about believers who had died and Paul is saying to them, I would not have you to be ignorant, rather than concerning those which have died. And he goes on and talks about it at the event of the Rapture, we’re all going to get our resurrection bodies, and we’ll all be together from that point on forever. So it tells us in verse 18, wherefore comfort one another with these words.
So the wonderful reunion is coming up for believers, and yes indeed we’ll know each other. What is interesting in Matthew 17 you have the Mount of Transfiguration and there you have Jesus and you have Moses and Elijah there but Jesus had taken Peter, James and John up under that mountain with him and Peter immediately recognizes Moses and Elijah and knows who they are. And I don’t think they were wearing a big sign around their neck saying, I’m Moses and I’m Elijah.
I just think there’s something about our resurrection bodies that will allow us to know each other and no people even that we hadn’t ever known before. It’s going to be exciting and I think you’ll definitely know your loved ones and your family members and yes indeed you’ll get to see them again. You know David said in the 2nd Samuel 1223 he had a baby that was ill for seven days. He prayed and fastened for that baby to be spared.
The Lord took the baby, the child died, and David said the baby will not return to me, but I am going to be with that baby. So obviously David knew he would see that baby again, and obviously he would recognize that baby. And although that baby wouldn’t be as a baby in heaven because we believe that everybody will have a mature adult body, that baby will be seen in an adult form. David would know his child and be able to be with that baby in heaven.
That’s very comforting. I hope that helps a little bit. Those are just a few examples. We now have Frank in Miami. It’s like Miami’s taking over the program today. Frank, welcome to my line. You’re on the air. Hi. Good morning, Dr. Hank. Good morning. Yeah. I’m just a day I’ve been talking about, like, what is his name? the fundamental by the believing he just like you found in doctrine and i think the caller misunderstood what he was talking about completely through security he believed in uh…
retry he is sound in doctrine the other thing he was talking about is that the easily deleted in that people are go along with and uh… the go away from that that that they say that they did not really not now we can be not we’re not uh… judging them where we are we are full figures uh… you mentioned yesterday when the court of accident question also uh… when john told me uh… the jewish people May Vigga really serious about died here.
Can we jump the coffee with you? Well I understand. You know a person can just say, hey I believe but you have to trust Christ that he died and shed his blood to pay for your sins was buried and rose again from the dead. And you know I was 18 before I had that difference pointed out to me. When I was a child I was raised in church and went through all the processes and I never doubted that Christ lived in the and died, and I never doubted that he died to pay for sins, and that he died to pay for the sins of the world, and that he was buried, and that he rose again from the dead.
But I never had anybody explain to me that I had to trust that he did it for me in order to be saved. And I definitely agree on that, that you have to trust Christ personally as the one who died to pay for your sins in order to be saved. And when you do that, saved eternally in this forever. So Frank, good point. I hope that helps out. Yes, thanks. All right. Frank in Miami. And definitely, you just can’t say, I believe in your save.
You have to trust. I like to say it this way. Christ died. That’s a history fact. But Christ died for me. That’s salvation. When you personally trust that the death of Christ on that cross was for your sins and that he shed his blood to pay for your sins and he was buried that he rose again from that God saved you. We now have Edgar in Spring Lake, North Carolina and Edgar welcome the Bible on. What’s going on this morning, Don Hain?
Oh, we’re having fun here on Bible on. I’m just sitting here just musing away on something. I know all about the judgment of the believers at the judgment seat of Christ. But I’ve been sitting here meditating on where with the great white throne judgment take place because I know revelation in 21, 27. No one to save person can enter heaven. I’m just wondering, do you think that God would maybe host the great white throne judgment outs maybe outside of the gates of heaven so that the unbelievers could just get at least get a taste of what they could have endured for the remote wealth or wealth from that point on until eternity?
You know, it doesn’t really tell us, it says in verse 11 of Revelation 20 that the earth is destroyed. at the end of the millennium. And I saw Heaven are fled, flee away, you know, they’re destroyed. And then it says, I saw a great white throne. So doesn’t tell us exactly where that white throne is. But then we find all the unsaved dead are brought up and a judge, according to their works, and assigned a degree of punishment in hell.
Now the Bible says in 1st in Chapter 6 that we’re going to be there as believers and judge the world. We will have an opportunity to maybe say something about those who have mistreated us and the injustices that we’ve had. And that will be a part of the judgment that will assign a degree of punishment to these that are lost. We also will judge the fallen angels according to 1 in chapter 6. So, yes, we’ll be there and I’m sure that these unbelievers will certainly recognize that they made a big mistake in dying, not trusting Christ as their Savior.
But we don’t know exactly the location because the earth will be gone. Then we find after that’s over in chapter 21, verse 1, I saw John says, a new heavens in a new earth. For the former heavens and the former earth were passed away. So we find that the new heavens do not appear until apparently after that judgment is over. So hopefully that helps. I hear good to hear your voice. Thank you for calling. We’re now going to go to Mike in Hollywood, Florida and Mike.
Welcome to Bibleline you’re on Mike, you’re on the air. Hello Mike, you’re there. You’re on the air. You have to turn your radio down because your radio is just coming over everything. Turn that radio down. Yeah. And you turn your radio down because it’s just so loud that we can’t hear you. Okay, I’m calling my thought. The other day I heard him saying that a person…
Well, that’s true. And you know, in the Bible Moses committed murder. Do you remember when he killed that Egyptian and buried his body in the sand and thought nobody would know about it? David committed murder. He killed Uriah, the husband of Bathsheba. We find that Saul, who became tall, stood there, consending to the death of Stephen, the first Christian martyr and yes, murders can be saved. And there’s no one who’s too sinful, who cannot trust Jesus’ Savior as their Savior in becoming a child of God and have eternal life.

And I think that in itself tells us we’ve got to be close to the Lord’s return because this hasn’t happened for 2,000 years. All of a sudden we have the Jewish people back in the land and we have the desire of Jewish people in Israel to get this temple built. Gershan is a Jew.
