And they’ll have a super time. That’s tonight. Wednesday night at 6 to 8 and the kids will have a super time.

You’re welcome to bring your children no charge and they’ll I’m guaranteed you will learn a lot of Bible and We’ll probably get saved if they’re not Because we make sure everybody here’s the gospel and is led to Christ when they get on our property, which is great Alright, we’re gonna get into our Bibles if you have it there get it out if you don’t have a Bible Just listen, but you can turn to the passages with us and and take a look at what the Bible says We’re going to go to Hebrews 10.

What an exciting chapter it tells us that Jesus Christ died on the cross of Calvary and paid for all of your sins past, present and future. Hebrews 10, are you there? Hebrews 10, verse 10 and it says, by the which will, that is the will of God, we are sanctified. The word sanctified means from the Greek to make pure and holy. The New Testament was written in the Greek language. So it says here by the which will we are sanctified.

Now a lot of people define sanctified as to set apart. And that is really not the meaning. I’m amazed at how many people say that that is the meaning of the The Greek word really means to make pure and holy, but anything pure and holy is set apart from everything that’s not pure and holy. And so it’s an application to say that it’s to be set apart, but actually the meaning is to make pure and holy. To go to heaven, to enter into the compressions of God, you have to be as righteous as God.

None of us are. None of us are. And when you put your trust in Christ, it says, by the will of God we are sanctified, made pure and holy, through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Jesus Christ died, and the offering of His body on the cross was one time for all people, and all that put their trust in Him are saved eternally. They are made perfect, they are sanctified in the presence of God and God sees them as though they were absolutely righteous.

Verse 11 interests me. It says, in every priest, every priest, standeth daily, ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices which it says in my Bible here can never take away sins, can never take away sins. You know, the priest cannot take away your sin, the rabbi cannot take away your sin, the minister cannot take away your sin. And here it talks about the futility of religion. Every priest, stand with daily, ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices which can the Bible says never, never, never means never, can never take away your sins.

Then verse 12 tells us, but this man, referring to Christ, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, set down on the right hand of God. Jesus in contrast offered one sacrifice one time two thousand years ago. Calvary will never be repeated. It will never half it again, the one-time death of Christ satisfied God’s justice and our sins are forgiven. Verse 13, it says, from henceforth tell his enemies be made his footstool and then look at verse 14, for by one offering, he hath perfected forever them that are sanctified.

you find that he has perfected forever all those that put their trust in Christ’s Savior. Let me ask you a question. If you were perfect in God’s sight forever, could you be certain of going to heaven? And the answer is of course you could. That’s the position that we have in Christ. When God looks down upon a believer, he sees you sanctified, made pure and holy in the sight of God based upon the one-time offering of the body of Jesus Christ.

By one offering, verse 14 says, He has perfected forever them that are sanctified. My goodness, once you trust Christ, you’re saved forever and ever and ever. And a little bit later here in Hebrews in chapter 13 in verse 5, it says, I will never leave you and I will never forsake you. That is got to be good news. Jesus promises that he will never leave you. Not only does that mean you’re never alone, as a believer, Jesus is right there with you.

24-7. But if you think you could lose your salvation, Jesus made a promise and he’s not going to break it that he would never leave you. If you went to hell, Jesus Christ would have to go to hell with you. It’s just not going to happen. Christ is never going to go to hell. So once you trust Christ, you can be assured that you’ll never be lost. I will never leave you and I’ll never forsake you. I’m Dr. Anker, and we’re going to go to the phone lines here, and the number is 1-800-576-3771.

1-800-576-3771. We have Nathaniel in Beldlaids, Florida, and Nathaniel, welcome to Bibleline, and you are on the air. Yes, sir. You’re on the Hey? Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Oh, I was reading the little vehicles and I was seeing you. Can you explain me? I’m not too sure what you’re talking about a covenant? No, the vile a vile religious out of uncoverness Nickiness, you know what verse you’re talking about. I’m not too sure what you’re talking about Yes, sir, it’s in Alright Leviticus 18 I’m turning there right now Leviticus 18 two Right and three two 20 to do it through doing it, three, okay?

It says here. Let me go to the verse 20 three Where it says neither shall tell I with any beast to defile myself They’re with neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down there too. It is confusion Is this what we’re talking about? Yes, sir. All right. All of this is talking about the sex that is forbidden, sex outside of marriage, and here even in verse 23, bestiality. If you look at verse 22, it’s talking about homosexuality.

So it will not lie with mankind. And as with woman men, as with woman kind, it is abomination. So obviously all these things are forbidden and a person that commits them can be forgiven, they can be saved but obviously they’re in violation of God’s word and God is not going to bless you if you do those things. Yes sir, but that was on the hands. Ham the grandson of Abraham or the son of Abraham? Yes sir, he’s the cannon man on that tribe.

Yeah well what he did was committed a homosexual act on his father. Noah drunk and he went in and uncovered Noah’s nakedness which many had a homosexual act committed on his father Noah. That’s why God or Noah cursed him. So that was exactly this chapter for bids. They were not the practice homosexuality. Alright, thank you. You’re welcome. Thank you, Nathaniel and Bell of AIDS Florida. have mark in ashland kentucky mark where are you there you are i think i’ve found you well i’m welcome to my one well thanks for speaking me again i’ll call you past couple days in a row about the that the ancient earth and i still need to get to you things straight you said that ancient earth was destroyed you know i told you yesterday that i i didn’t realize that before but could you give me the reasoning behind it because that’s before

man isn’t it so why would they be shaking and destroying those days because looser He lived on this earth. He became Satan, but he ruled over all of God’s angels, all the angels of God lived here on the original earth. And apparently they had cities and they had different levels of leadership and they still do. Lucifer was, of course, their head or God. And to this very day, Lucifer has that title, or Satan does, the God of this world.

He was in charge of the planet Earth. When he decided to overthrow heaven, and if you turn to Isaiah 14, you’ll see what his plan was. He was apparently right here on the earth, which is contrary to what most people think. And he said in verse 13 of Isaiah 14, he says, and this is God now knowing his thoughts before he actually pulled this off, now has said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven. So he was not in heaven.

He was going to ascend in heaven from where? From the earth where he was the God of this world. Secondly, he says, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God. Apparently, a hinting that he’s below the visible heavens that you can see with your eyes and with telescopes. So he was below that. He was going to ascend above the stars. Thirdly, he said I will also sit in the Mount of the Congregation in the sides of the North.

We know that heaven apparently is in the north in our universe. And he was going to go to the north in our universe beyond all the visible heavens and actually sit upon God’s throne in the empty place that the Bible describes in the north where heaven is. Then it says in verse 14, I will ascend above the heights of the clouds. So apparently Lucifer was right here on the surface of the earth beneath the clouds. So he was going to go above the clouds, above the stars, and actually ascend into heaven and overthrow God.

And so when he did, he led a third of the angels that were God’s angels that he was having charge over in that rebellion and they followed him. God judged them and he judged the other angels that went with him and he judged the earth and it became without form and void. The earth was, I think, an adornment state for millions of years and all life on the planet was killed. More recently there was a re-creative week where God now establishes it so that there can be life on the earth again.

This time he puts man in charge of the planet. That’s why Satan was there in the garden so determined to get Adam and Eve to fall, because he was jealous. Here Adam was taking his place. He was the God of this world. He was not a happy camper. And so he was there ready to cause Adam and Eve to fall. And it explains why Satan was there and when he fell, it was obviously prior to the seven days in the creation of man.

Hope that helps a little bit. Oh yeah, that helps some, but he destroyed the things that were on the planet. The Satan and his angel were still just here. Well there’s spirit beings and they were still here and confined to the earth and they’re still confined. Ultimately you go to hell, but they’re alive and well on the planet and they’re definitely out there influencing this world. Yeah, and also if you got one more second here between you know in the The fifth day when it says that got big create the animals and everything on the planet You know and it also goes on down layer.

That’s when man was with great on the sixth day. Well, is that me into years period there? Is it what now and is that means of years between the fifth day and six day there? No, no, no those are 24 our days at six literal days and it all having boom boom boom boom boom boom He’s one of the great all the animals on the fifth day. That’s great Well, I’m still confused about the question I’d asked you earlier about the dinosaur’s finger I thought that there wasn’t any death in the world Before that time that’s not true.

There was that how good animals been destroyed Because and then go ahead. I’ll lift you God God judge the earth and he destroyed all life life on the planet. That’s what I’ve been seeing all along. And so all of the animals were killed and there was destruction of life here on the planet. Yes. And then in seven days, he makes it inhabitable again, and this time puts man in charge. But there was never death upon humans because there were no humans.

The verse that keeps coming up, and I think you brought it up, is Romans 5, 12, which says death passed upon all men when Adam sinned. And so it was, and doesn’t say it wasn’t any death before Adam. I don’t know how people read things into a verse that’s not even there, there, but it never says that there wasn’t any death. It simply says there wasn’t death upon humans until Adam sinned. Well, that must be my mistake again. I just was thinking there must be so many years to come between the creation of the animal and the man, even though it’s just the chapter of part in the Bible.

Not at all. It was right one after the other. And those days are each defined in time as the time it takes the Earth to turn once on its axes, it says the evening in the morning where the first day. That’s the turning of the Earth on its axes one time. That’s a 24-hour period. The evening in the morning where the second day, that’s again a 24-hour period. In the evening in the morning where the third day and so on, each of these days are clearly defined in Genesis as one rotation of the Earth on the Saxes.

Well then how could animals, they claim that dinosaurs and stuff are in the ground, they’re 100 to millions of years old and that’s what made our fossil fuels and if it’s just 24 hour period? Because they were created in the beginning. In the beginning God created the heavens earth. That was millions and millions and millions and millions of years ago. So the original Earth was inhabited with plants, animals, dinosaurs, all of God’s angels lived here, and when Satan rebelled he killed all of the plants and animals, and the earth became void and without form.

And so that occurred probably if we believe what NASA says, it probably occurred 65 million years ago when they say this giant piece of rock hit in the Yucatan Peninsula area of the Gulf of Mexico and they say it threw up so much debris from the earth that shut out the sun’s light for millions of years. Scientists tell us if the sun’s light were cut off for 72 hours, the earth would be quick frozen. This would explain the ice ages and how all life had been extinguished and then in seven days God made it inhabitable again.

So there was an original creation and then we have a re-creative week there with Adam and Eve and he tells Adam at the end of it, the fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth. Notice he tells Adam to replenish. He didn’t say He said, replenish. That implies there had been life destroyed, and now he was the Plenishate again. I wouldn’t make a big deal out of that except that’s the same praise in the Hebrew used when God spoke to Noah.

And right after the flood he told Noah, be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth. And in Noah’s case we know there was life destroyed, and now he was the Plenish the earth again end with life after that destruction the same thing was told to Adam in Genesis chapter one. I’m just being confused between ancient earth and man earth, right? Right. So all the fossil remains we have today are dated back to that original earth and the destruction that probably occurred 65 million years ago.

That’s where my confusion is coming from. I’m sorry to be so simple minded. Sorry and and I’m sorry. All right. It took a long time to make coal and make the petroleum we have today and those bones have had a chance to sit in the ground for millions of years and they have under the pressures of the earth and and all that time have been now formed into fossil fuels that we’re using today in our earth. Thank you Mark in Ashland, Kentucky Listening on the station we’re on out of West Virginia.

We now have Brad in Clearwater, Florida and Brad welcome to By Blind You Are On The Air. Brad? Yes, you’re on the air. Good morning, Pastor Lunschop. Good morning. I have a question concerning the Rapture. What happens to babies when they in the arms of a believer. I’ll hang up and listen to your response by radio. When they’re in the arms of a believer, I’m not too sure what I heard there. If somebody’s carrying a baby in their arms and the rapture happens, obviously…

They’re not going to be able to take anything with them, whether it be an animal or a dog or a cat or a baby. If you are being raptured, they’ll be left behind. So if you’re carrying a chair or a book, you know, a lunch, a sandwich, it’s going to be left behind. So I hope that answers that. I’m not too sure I understood that question. We now have Joyce, and she is in Charlottesville, New York. and the joys welcome that to buy blind you are on the years well you know is all of the other hand how you do it that i have a question uh…

the other night on tv a pastor was talking about fear and i couldn’t believe my ears would be said he pretty much said that he doesn’t care how much a person professes to be a christian if they have any kind of phobias or rational fear or anxiety attack they don’t belong to christ they belong to uh… the devil if i could i couldn’t believe that and then you start talking about david and his fears and i think that my self-evident state and peter i mean peter was afraid a lot of the afraid and uh…

then i thought of a revelation twenty one eight also and i wonder who the fearful are who won’t get into heaven to keep Tell me what you think about both those things. Alright, I’m going to have to do it right after the break Charlie. Keep listening. I’m Dr. Eng Lindstrom. This is Bibleline. We’re going to have to take a break. It’s at the end of the first half hour but we’ll come back and do a second half hour and I hope that everybody will stay tuned and I’m going to be right back and do a second half hour.

So I’m Dr. Eng Lindstrom. Hold your radio right where it is and we’re going to come right back and take a break. Go away Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. portionascusarrisonWriten. We’ll wait and see, we’re praying that it’ll all work out well and I trust that you’ll be keeping me in your prayers. By the line, we’ve had calls from all of the country and actually outside the country for saying that they would be praying for us and for me.

So we are just pleased that people are concerned and are putting me on the prayer list. We still need help to get finished up with September. If you could help us, that would be great. Keep us on your prayer list. And hopefully, I’ll come out of this and be back on live radio soon. In any case, today is the most potential day for the rap show. It’s the first of October. And it could be given by me about a few hours.

So we’ll just have to wait and see what the Lord has in mind. Anyway, I’d bless you. We have a wonderful audience and I’d like to let you be a praise on what’s going on. And so I have a good day enjoying Bible and as we’ll repeat a past program today, but enjoy and please go ahead and call it. Thank you. That right out to you. Bible and as this was reported, we could you We could use your help if you want to give a gift to Bibleline.

You could call and offer to give it by credit card or you could call Nasper and Humblup to be sent with our address on it and mail that gift in to Bibleline and or you can give on our online bookstore where there’s a secure place to give to Bible and I hope you’ll will consider doing that. We need your help to finish up this month of September for sure and I hope you will consider Bible and pray for us.

And if you can give to us and if you can give a gift this month it would really, really be helpful. We are thanking God for all of our audience and for the wonderful reports we get words of comfort and encouragement and blessing from our listeners and I hope that we’re blessing you as well. We’re going to rejoin the stations that have been on break and do the second half hour of Bible line and we want you to join us also.

So I hope you will stay right by your radio and Don’t change that down and maybe get somebody else in the household to come listen with you But we’re right now going to rejoin the station So hold on as we start the second half hour of Bibleline and we’ll do that right now Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom.

Alright, we’re back from that break and this is Bible and it’s wonderful to be able to be with you. It’s Wednesday and we have services tonight. If you have any youth, we have a wonderful Awana youth program between six and eight and you’re welcome to bring your children free of charge. In any case, we’re going to go back to the phone lines here. We got lots of callers and we had Joyce holding over from the break from Charlottesville, New York and Joyce we’re coming right back at you here and maybe we can figure out your question here and get it answered.

Okay, so okay. The other night on TV I was listening to a pastor and he was talking about fear and he pretty much said that he doesn’t care how much a person professors to know a chris, sorry professors to be a Christian but if they have any kind of phobia or irrational fear and anxiety attacks or any pretty much any fear they don’t belong to christ but they belong to the devil because god didn’t give us a spirit of fear and then he started talking about david and how fearful david was and i’m saying myself hello you know hello david the state that’s right now and you know and there were i mean cheetah was afraid a lot of what the phrase then um…

um… i thought of revelation twenty one eight where it says um… describe the traits of people that won’t be in the in the kingdom and it talked about the fearful so i wondered on both those things i mean you think that’s ridiculous what you said right oh yeah absolutely uh… christians to have fears and it’s natural it’s a part of our makeup you know right uh… fear is uh… uh… what causes us to act many times you know if you uh…

get your car going too fast and you might lose control uh… it’s fear because you put to break it and and then bring it into control and right well i guess he was talking about the back might be a healthy type of fear but like you know if you have a panic attack or you know something which could be a chemical imbalance in your brain sure it’s just natural and many christians have those just like anybody else so so who are the fearful in revelation twenty one eight i i’m not too sure who they are i i i i i mean it’s obviously unbelievers so we have to interpret it in that context and Obviously they are maybe fearful of God or of the Bible or of the consequences of sin and they don’t ever approach the Lord to find out the answer.

But we’ll have to wait and see. It has to be an unbeliever because all the people listed, there are people that are standing before God in their sin without Christ. So it’s just unbelievers. Okay, and one more thing, say that you have experienced some persecution while witnessing for Christ or doing something for Christ and it made you very afraid. And you never leave or deny Christ in your heart or even in your actions but you become more cautious and less bold and you still do things for Christ but more unlike an anonymous level like say before you would go right up to somebody and give them the gospel message Now you kind of write it down on a piece of paper and you’ll mail it to them even anonymously.

Because of that fear, that doesn’t mean that you were probably never saved, right? Of course not. Nothing to do with it. Once you’re saved, you can experience all those things, and obviously God can give you courage, but a lot of Christians are timid and fearful. Go ahead. I’m sorry. Sorry, I’m finished. Okay, and if there’s just one more quick thing I could ask. The second example of the person in the power of the sower, where it says he had, it’s run up quickly but he had no root.

I know, I believe and you believe and I’ve heard others do believe that that person was saved but I’ve heard some people say, well since he had no root, he wasn’t. Yeah, I I I I’m not I’d disagree with that. It’s clearly if you compare all three gospels and The context the only group that’s unsaved is the seed sown by the wayside the next to the stony ground and the Rocky ground are those that just don’t bear any fruit.

They just don’t seem to develop they’re apparently they don’t have enough root to to to get into the word and to to find the nurse, but they need to survive as a Christian and go forward. But the last group is good ground and they suck up the nurse, went through the roots and into their soul and maintain not only their Christian life, but they grow and apparently produce fruit. Okay, great. Dr. Hank, thank you so much. You made me feel a whole lot better.

Good, Joyce. Thank you for calling. You have a great day. God bless you. Charlotte and, uh, rather Joyce in Charlotte, New York. Charlotte, Bill, New York. We have Jerry in Plant City. Jerry, welcome to Bibleline. You’re on the air. Good morning, brother. Good morning. I got some folks here that made you to explain a couple of verses found here in Matthew chapter. All right. and it would be verses 33 and 39. Now in 33 where he says of a surety, but he is near at the very doors.

They’re wanting to know how can a Christian know. Know that he’s that close and then in 39 where it says that they did not know or understand the blood came and swept them all the way. So we’ll be the coming up on a man. I’d like to get. Here explain them to verses. Here. What clarity what it means to the Christian. Well you can know when it’s near, that is the coming of Christ, when the Jewish people are reestablished back in their land.

You’ll notice here it talks about the fig tree. And when Christ was rejected, we find that he came back to Jerusalem the next morning and he saw a fig tree and it had leaves on it but no fruit and he was looking for fruit he was hungry and so he cursed the fig tree and said let no fruit grow on the fornades. Just talking about Israel being basically off God’s radar for a whole age while God turned us Gentiles.

But God is going to obviously go back and finish His plan with Israel, and we are living in those days right now. So the Bible talks then in chapter 24 about the fig tree beginning to bud and blossom again, put forth leaves, and obviously it’s talking about now. So in 1948 Israel became a nation again, and it says when you see those things happen, you could know that his coming is near even the door. So, price is very close to returning and we can know that it’s been true ever since Israel became a nation again.

For two thousand years the Jewish people were dispersed throughout all the world and they did not have their ancient homeland and nor were they a nation, but they became a nation again. It’s a miracle really. After two thousand years of history, the Jewish people became an ancient again in 1948. So we’re living in that generation that’s going to see Christ return. Then over there a little bit later you have two groups, one in the field the one, is taken, the other is left behind.

This is talking about the second coming also, it’s not the rapture. And just like in the flood, they were eating and drinking and so on. They knew not until the day of the flood came, which came and took them all away. It took the unbelievers away and drowned them. The sabe were left behind to repopulate the earth as they were in the ark and they repopulated the planet after the flood was over. The same will be true at the second coming.

At the end of the tribulation period, all unbelievers will be killed, they will be slain, believers will be left behind to populate the Millennium to the thousand year Kingdom of Christ. So the believers will be left and the unbelievers will be taken in judgment and killed and I hope that helps explain that. Okay, thank you Jerry. I guess Jerry is hung up. We’re now going to go to Bob in Sarasota and Bob, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the Hi Hank, how are you doing?

This is Bob in Sarasota. Sir Bob. Listen, I have a question for you. My sister has been involved with Full Gospel. First would be about tongues if you’d touched briefly on it and you know, Zeus is street was how you explain it well. And the other thing is I told her that there were probably no prophets left in prophecy and she referred to Acts 2, 17. Could you touch on that where it says you know the young women all dream dreams and crop size and all that sure it’s talking there about I’m gonna hang up and listen Hank.

Okay. Okay. Feel a little concise with her. Okay, because she’s like I said been involved in a full gospel Yeah, right. Well, thank you a lot of the Pentecostals believe that that quote in acts has been fulfilled and it has it It’s a quote from the book of Joel And if you’ll notice, it tells us in that quote that Christ would pour out His Spirit upon all flesh. Well, that hadn’t happened. You can go in the neighborhood around my church here, and there’s a lot of people that don’t have the Holy Spirit.

And I’m sure the same is true in your neighborhood. But at the Second Coming, as we just mentioned, all the unsaid will be destroyed, and only the believers will be left behind, and God will pour out His Holy Spirit upon every person. Every believer that’s then that they will young men will prophesy and so on and so on None of this has happened yet. So if you read Joel 2 28, it says it that it would Come to pass afterward afterward that is after Christ has returned at his second coming Then he would pour out his spirit upon all flesh because only the believers will be left, the unbelievers will be destroyed.

Now, in 1 Corinthians 13, it tells us about three gifts that would be temporary nature and would end. That’s the gift of prophecy, the gift of knowledge, and the gift of tongues. And it would happen when that which is perfect is come, which is the New Testament record. And sure enough, by the end of the first century, when the New Testament record was completed, the gift of prophecy ceased, the gift of tongues ceased, and the gift of knowledge ceased, and all free of those are gone.

There are no prophets today, and there are no people experiencing the gift of knowledge, and there are no people speaking in tongues. The biblical gift was a known language, a specific dialect, and what we have today is people that are doing a gibberish that is a counterfeit. It’s not the real gift. The real gift was to communicate the gospel to the laws. I always like to tell people, look at 1 Corinthians 1422 where it says, tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not.

I don’t see anybody that has this gibberish today using it with those who believe not. You ought to be used with the unsaved. So I challenge people all the time. I say, get in my card. Let’s go. We’ll go to the mall. I’ll get a crowd and I’ll introduce you. And if you have the real gift, we’re going to have a revival. People will get saved all over the mall. And then I’ll buy you a steak dinner. I’ve had no one go and I’ve been doing this for 20, 30 years.

Nobody wants to go. They know what they’re doing today will turn the unsaved person off. They’ll think you’re crazy and And absolutely it’s not the gift that the Bible talks about so tongues were to be used for evangelism They were to be winning the lost and nobody is doing that today because what they have today is not the gift It’s a counterfeit. Hope that helps a little bit. Thank you Bob. We’re now going to go to Mick in Holmes Beach, Florida up in the pen handle and Mick.

Welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air God bless you, Dr. Hank. Dr. Hank, I want to broach the subject of tickling ears preaching. I go out to the homeless quite often. I’ve been very fortunate that God has used me to lead many of these men to Christ. I find my biggest obstacle as I’m out there is preaching along the lines of, and I’m going to use Mark chapter 7, Matthew 15, where nothing that goes into a man shall make him unclean.

My question and I wish you would just take a full day or even a week concerning tickling ears preaching. I find so many churches and so many people confused with the gospel message and that their arguments me is, well I never smoked a cigarette, I never drank, I’m not a drunkard. I try to explain these people, you know, we’ve all been, you know, I didn’t get saved till I was 40. We’ve all been in the 50 people. And there’s always five people in that group that are going to be so drunk that they couldn’t get into a car, that they’ve just let alcohol or drugs take over their lives.

Yet there’s some people that can have a glass of wine and stop right there. And as you look at Man 2 15, Mark 7, or Romans 14, we see that nothing that goes into a man shall make him unclean. I think when I’m speaking with these men, this is one of the subjects that seems to be so confusing in the church and the message that’s preached that because I don’t do these things, I’m therefore clean and don’t have a need for salvation.

I’m not like that person over there. And I would especially go to Acts 10. Well, in fact, let me read this. 15, 8, have which knoweth hearts, fair than witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us, and put no difference between us and them, purifying the hearts by faith. Now, therefore, watch him, she got, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers know we were able to bear, but we believe that through the grace of the Lord, and then as you go in, three times in the book of Acts, they write the letter and say we put no further yoke upon them than to abstain from the pollution of idols, from foreign occasion, and from things strangled and from blood.

Isn’t that the simplicity of Christ, Dr. Hank, and isn’t that the message that we should be delivering, that he gave us the law to show us we cannot live up to the law? The Ten Commandments, if God had said, thou shalt not drink, thou shalt not smoke, I think God has made it very clear to us, through the just the 10 commandments that that’s all he had ever given us. That our real sin is the separation that we have from God and the only way, and that is through unbelief and the only way, recompense with God then is to receive Jesus Christ as our Savior, knowing that we are all sinners.

But then even after we get saved, no Paul explains in Romans 7 that we’re still going to fight that same fight that we had in the flesh. fight is always going to be present in us. And I’m going to hang up, Dr. Hank, but I would just like for you to just elaborate a little bit on that. Let us, you know, and maybe spend a day or two concerning tickling years preaching. I’m not advocating any of these things, these men.

I tell them, look, my problem was an alcohol, my problem wasn’t drugs, but I certainly had a separation from God and I had to come to Him and tell Him I need a Savior. I need Jesus. I need that Holy Spirit to indwelling me so that I know my stomach, not my lungs, would like for you to elaborate on that and maybe consider spending an eternity on tickling ears, preaching and Bradenton as I walk into these churches. I love to visit new churches and it seems to me that that message, they’re walking out they’re saying well and isn’t necessarily a drunkard yet they’re going to their doctors and they’re filling their oxycontin and x-o-lop and their prescription saying well oh well I’m okay with this because the doctor prescribed that to me and I see those medications being abused 75% of the drug bust in

Florida last year was that maybe come into that a little more clear tickling ears with that type of him okay well thank you very much According to the Bible, there is nothing you and I have to offer God. Our best righteous deeds are filthy rags. So when we approach God with our works and our deeds, they are filthy rags. In order to enter heaven we have to have his righteousness and God imputes that or credits that to the account of the one who believes on Christ as his Savior.

So much of Christianity is trying to get you to change or to stop or to, you know, obviously it makes him kind of a change in your life which doesn’t save. That will not save you. Even if you changed, you’d still be a sinner condemned before God and you could turn over a new leaf and still go to hell because the other side of the leaf is rotten just like the one that was visible. So basically God says you need to be born again, you need to have the new birth, you need to trust Christ.

And when you trust Christ, as we read earlier in Hebrews today, by one offering, he perfects you forever. So, positionally, we’re perfected in God’s sight based upon the one-time death of Christ on the cross. And our lives will never completely be devoid of sin in this life here, because as long as we have a sin nature, as you said, Paul struggled with it, and after you’re saved you still have a sin nature. And the Bible says in 1 John 1 8, if we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not as we still…

We’re going to find that we have a sin nature and that’s going to continue with us until we die. A lot of preaching is just not difficult. Unfortunately, the devil has gotten an advantage there and we’re preaching man’s philosophy and man’s righteousness rather than the righteousness of God which is required for salvation. And that’s the only righteousness that will get you to heaven. And when you trust Christ God sees you as righteous. Pure and holy. The word sanctified means to make pure and holy.

Holy and that’s based on the one time offering of Jesus Christ body upon the cross. Okay we have Antoine and he’s in Tampa Florida and Antoine welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Good morning. Good morning Dr. Hank. I want to thank the very good thoughts, and the very good thoughts after 18, and you answered that question that came clearly on the homosexual act on his father. I find that strange, but I went to that same chapter. Can you read the verse eight in that same chapter?

That would give you a definition of seeing the nakedness of your father. In chapter 18 of Leviticus, okay, I’m almost there again Leviticus and I’m in numbers Almost there Leviticus 18 verse 8 Yes, says the nakedness of thy father’s wife Shelt thou not uncover nor it is thy father’s nakedness So that’s where it will be with the life of Noah, not Noah himself. So if he went in for ministry and covered his nakedness. Well, you’re only reading that. You haven’t read Genesis.

And if you go away from the prime passage, then you’re really going to get mixed up. And if you read what it says in Genesis, you find that Noah said that when he came out of his drunken super, realize what his son, him, had done unto him. And that was, he committed a homosexual act on his own dad. And that was the sin there. And so obviously, you can’t leave that primary passage and then try to read something else into it.

He committed a homosexual act. And apparently that was some of the reasons why God destroyed the people in the flood. And those sins carried on and then of course you had all those people saw a bigger more later that came and they still were carrying on the sins that were occurred prior to the flood thank you for calling and we now have carl in Tampa florida Welcome to Bibleline. You’re on the air. Yeah, that’s the Hank real quick. Just a few questions.

I can just get off the bone. You can dance for me if you would and mark two seventeen. I’ll do the other day when it talks about When it talks about those of the whole and those of the sick and those of the righteous, this is before Christ and already died for us. Who are the… one of the whole need christ could you explain that for me please look at the time well the uh… sicker though obviously those are sicker maladies and illnesses, the whole are those that are physically well and don’t need any type of healing.

They don’t need to go to the doctor. And the righteous are the self-righteous who think they’re okay but don’t realize that they don’t have the righteousness of God and need to trust Christ as Savior. So the Bible deals with a lot of times people that are religious that claim that they are righteous and they’re not. And of course Isaiah exposes that by saying even our best righteous deeds are filthy rags. So even as a person who is trying to do right, we are far from having the righteousness of God.

The only way we can have that is to trust Christ and have God imputed or credited to our account. Thank you, Carl. And we’re now going to go to Angel in St. Petersburg. Angel, welcome to my one. on the air He said, I’ll pull out my spirit upon all men. And I’m just going to tell you what I thought it was at first and then kind of been thought it was talking about that. You know, because it was Dave Hennep cost of blue.

He said, you’ll pour Peter stood up. I said, I’ll pull out my flesh upon all men. This is what the that the spirit of God would come to anyone Jews and gentile. But obviously you don’t think that’s what it means. Now not at all, in fact, what Peter is saying is that the Holy Spirit that Joel predicted would come one day was the Holy Spirit that came on the day of Pentecost, but the scripture that Joel is quoting is really not fulfilled until the second coming when he’s poured out upon all flesh.
