So make sure that you call in if you have a question and we’ll try to get that answered here this morning. So you know that number 1-800-576-3771. 1-800-576-3771, and we’re going to talk about the Bible. We mentioned on Monday that the birth date of of Christ is not December 25th. We’re not going to attempt to change that. I’m going to celebrate December 25th myself. But the real date, and we talked about calculating that date, was probably today. Today is Christ’s birthday, October 31st.

And if you really want to get some more detail, go to my website and click on the camera and catch this past Sunday’s message where I go into great detail pointing out why Christ was probably born on October 31st. And you say, Halloween? Well, remember, Satan wants to rob the glory from Christ, and he’s tried to take that day away from Christ and make it his own. And he’s been pretty successful. And even December 25th, he’s been successful in substituting Santa for Jesus.

Have you noticed that? Take the letter N in Santa, slide it to the N, then you’ve got what? Satan, that’s right. You don’t need another letter, delete a letter. You just take one letter and slide it to the N. And it’s interesting that the color red is associated with Satan. He’s the dragon in Revelation 12 and his color is red. Also, you’ll notice about Santa that he takes a lot of the attributes of Christ for himself. He’s omniscient. He knows whether every child has been good or bad.

He’s able to answer prayer request and he is to be prayed to or appealed to as children. He is a pastor and an an anast center for what they want. And also we know he’s omnipresent. He’s able to be Christ’s Eve everywhere in the world at one time, delivering gifts to every child on the earth and so on and so on. He has really stolen the major place at Christ’s time when it’s really Christ’s birthday, but Santa gets all the glory.

It’s interesting and we’re not going to be covering it today, but you can go back and catch that message on the Internet, or you can get a CD of the Sunday message for a gift of $5 plus shipping and we’ll send it up to you and you can review that. I think it’s great to be able to know these things so you can talk to your friends and it’s a conversation opener about when was Christ really born and then you can tell them the true story of Christ and hopefully lead them to a saving knowledge of Christ.

Wouldn’t it be great? Well, we have lots of resources here. We have the Gospel of John. We just finished 20 hours of teaching. A class I just finished teaching 20 hours. Verse by verse explaining John’s Gospel. We’ve got the book of Revelation. We’ve got the book of Daniel. We’ve got a course on parables. A lot of people don’t realize that parables were written to concealed truth, not to revealed truth. Christ said in Mark 4, 12 that He spoke in parables to those that were unsaved so that seeing they would not see and that hearing they would not hear and less than any time they should understand and their sins should be forgiven them.

And it’s interesting that most people have the opposite view on parables. They are definitely written to conceal truth from those who don’t want to know truth. And so you have to be careful when a preacher spends a lot of time on the parables. Oftentimes, it’s because he can make them present or present them as saying whatever he wants them to say. And I have lots of commentaries in my library and you can take any parable you want and go to the commentaries.

You might get as many as six inventories, six different ideas about what they’re about. You have to know how to interpret them. That course I taught on parables teaches you how to interpret them and we take some of the most difficult ones and interpret them for you. Call and you can order these on the, over the telephone, you can order them from the online bookstore. You can also ask for a resource sheet to be sent to you and we’ll be happy to send it out to you.

You know, there’s a lot of teaching today that is not correct. You’ll hear invitations sometime that say something to the effect that you need to forsake Christ, rather forsake all and follow Christ and take up his cross daily and all these kind of things. And that’s not the gospel. That has to do with the Christian life. In order to interpret the Bible correctly, you have to rightly divide and separate between salvation and the Christian life. I’ll give you an example.

If you turn to John 8, I love this passage because Christ in this passage is talking to unsaved people. Because he tells them that he is the Savior, that he is God and flesh, it says in verse 30 of John 8, and as he spake these things, many believed on him. Stop, many got saved right there. They believed on him. That word believed means to trust. So they trusted him as Savior. But then I want you to notice the very next verse in John 8, 31.

It says, then said Jesus to those which believe on him. Now he addresses those that had just gotten saved. And now notice what he says. He says, if you continue in my word, then are you my disciples indeed. So in other words, after you become saved, if you continue in my word, he doesn’t say you’ll be saved. He says, if you continue in my word, then you are my disciples. The disciple is somebody who continues and is serving and is following and forsakes all and is willing to do whatever the Lord wants him to do.

Salvation is received at the instant you believe and is possessed forever and has nothing to do with our Christian life. our Christian life has to do with rewards in order to be… In effective Christian, we need to continue. That was one of the marks of the early church. If you look at Acts 2, 3000 people got saved on Pentecost, and then it says about these many that became saved, and they continued steadfastly. And the number one thing they continued in, at least about five things here, is the Apostles’ Doctrine.

That’s the Word of God. That’s exactly what Jesus said in John 831. If you continue in my Word, then are you my disciples indeed. So here we find the early church was strong and dynamic because they continued in the Word. And so as a believer, the moment you believe, you become saved. But then you need to make a second decision where you choose to be a disciple or follow Christ and that’s where rewards and blessings come in. Let me give you a quote here.

This is from Dr. M. Ar-Dahan. He was a real mentor of mine, founder of the Radio Bible class. He was a medical doctor that really got into the word and had an international radio program and was a powerful influence on me. Here is a quote from his book on the book of Hebrews and he says, and I quote, there is a vast difference between coming to Jesus for salvation and coming after Jesus for service. Coming to Christ makes one a believer, coming after Christ makes one a disciple.

All believers are not disciples. To become a believer one accepts the invitation of the gospel. To be a disciple one obeys the challenge to a life of dedicated service and separation. Salvation comes through the sacrifice of Christ. Discipleship comes only by sacrifice of self and surrender to his call for devoted service. Salvation is free, but discipleship involves paying the price of a separated walk. Salvation cannot be lost because it depends upon God’s faithfulness, but discipleship can be lost because it depends upon our faithfulness.

So there’s a tremendous difference here. That was Dr. M. Arghahan, his book on Hebrews published by Zandervin, page 159, rather page 117, and the great book. And Dr.ahan really had a handle on things. But there’s this difference. For myself, I got saved the night, I believed it was 18, but it wasn’t until I was 19, a year later, that I became a disciple. I trusted Christ, but I was a secret believer for an entire year before I chose to serve the Lord.

And that’s when I became a disciple and followed after Christ. Whereas I came to Christ for salvation and received that as a gift at the moment I believed, but I became a disciple when I chose to serve the Lord. So there’s a difference and it’s important to make that distinction known. You can be a believer and not be a disciple. Many are believers and not disciples. You can be a disciple and not be a believer. And Judas was an example of that.

Judas never trusted Christ. And that’s why Judas went to hell. He didn’t go to hell because he betrayed Christ. He didn’t go to hell because he committed suicide. He went to hell because he never, ever believed on the Lord Jesus Christ. 664 among many other verses talk about Judas never, never being a believer. Isn’t it incredible? That is mind-boggling to me. We’re going to go to the phone lines. The phone number is 1-800-576-3771-1-800-576-3771. We have Loretta in Richmond, Virginia and Loretta.

Welcome to Bible Island. Turn your radio down Loretta and this is Loretta in Richmond, Virginia. And that radio is still up. We’ll just hold on to Loretta for a minute. We’re going to go to Anonymous in Texas, Florida. Anonymous, welcome to Bible Life. Hi, sir. How are you? Good. What’s happening? I’m not that much. I have a question about suicide. There’s a lot of people in this area that basically believes that you can’t lose your salvation, but you commit suicide.

Then you do lose your salvation. And I know that you’re not explaining from the point of view that Samson lost. Well, Samson committed suicide, but to bring it to the grace dispensation, he’s also in the new… Well, you know, Jesus said in John 637, him that come up to me, I will in no wise cast So. He doesn’t put in there except for suicide. He says, I will not know why or in no case, under no circumstance would Christ ever cast you out.

It has nothing to do with anything that you would do. This is really from the Roman Catholic Church. The Roman Catholic Church doesn’t connect to not very well. And they assumed because Judas committed suicide and then he went to hell, that he went to hell because he committed suicide. That’s not the correct answer. He went to hell because he never was a believer. So you have to point out John 664 and the reason why Judas was not saved. He was not saved because he never trusted Christ.

And it’s really that simple. There is no verse that says you, if you commit suicide, you’ll go to hell. In fact, every manner of sin or all manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven, the Bible says. And once you trust Christ, you’re forgiven forever and he’ll let no wise cast you out, he will not lose you. He says, I’ll never leave you, I’ll never forsake you. So just go back to the basics and remind them that, hey, Christ will never leave you once you become saved.

You just never got saved. Because actually, you never believe. Now I’ll ask this question, is it possible for a person to believe and to unbelieve? Well, as a believer, there are things about the Christian life and other things that we may not believe. really pictured to us in Hebrews where we had the children of Israel redeemed out of Egypt by the blood of the Passoverlamic picture of salvation. But then they failed to believe that he could feed them and take care of them and they murmured into the wilderness and so on.

And so God never let them enter the Promised Land and they died physically but they still were saved. So again, you have to distinguish between salvation and the Christian life. And they believed the Lord and sacrificed the Lamb, applied His blood, and were delivered by the blood of the Lamb out of Egypt. But that was a picture of salvation. But then when they got into willingness, they didn’t seem to be able to believe that God could take care of their needs and so on.

And so that whole generation died out because of their unbelief as a Christian. What happens if a person and then they feel like believing in one? Yeah, of course. They lose out of rewards and they obviously are going to be disciplined for telling people a wrong message if they spread that wrong message to somebody else. But they’re still saved. When did you save your stuck? I tell people you can’t get out of it. Once you get saved, you have to go to heaven when you like it or not.

Oh, okay. And also I wanted to see were there any other person that also have a call in show that teaches the same thing that you do that you know of? No, I don’t. Right. I agree. Maybe you’ll be the next one and I hope you are. Alright, that was anonymous in Texas and thank you for the call. We now have Loretta in Richmond, Virginia and welcome to Bible Life. Good morning. Hank Lindstrom. Yes, uh-huh. Hi. This is Loretta from Virginia.

Hi Loretta. Hi. I listen to you show all the time and right now I’m listening and I’m thinking about Harold. I hear him all the time. I know he’s a great believer in what you say. And he goes against a lot of other doctrines. And yet, I’m concerned about his salvation and others like him. I just want, my question was, what would happen if he took Jesus as his Lord and Savior if he doesn’t truly believe just so that he is saved because we never know when Jesus is coming.

So that was my concern and my question being that I’m listening to all this now and I’m really, really concerned about him and others like him. Well, God bless you. He worked concerned about him too and there’s been a real switch since he first began listening. He is not as much in atheist as I think he used to be. In fact, I think he slipped a couple of times and said, thank God or something like that during his conversation with me.

So I think he’s getting closer if he hasn’t already trusted the Lord. I think he’s close to trusting Christ and we pray that he will. And we find that my mind has reached a lot of folks like Harold and we’ve had a lot of people that have told me that they were Jewish or whatever they were and they heard this program and learned what the Bible had to say and they trusted the Lord. So let’s keep praying for Harold and others like him and let’s see what happens.

Well, I do. I pray for him and all those like him because like you say and I listen to you every day, I believe that Jesus is coming in. It’s going to be very soon, but we don’t know when. You know, and I just, I know I’m ready and my family’s ready and a lot of people I know are ready, but people like him who is still questioning everything I say, you know, he seems like a very smart man.

He seems to know a lot about what he’s saying. You know, and I always say search the scripture. if you’re not sure, you know. But, you know, my other question to you also was, if you believe that you can lose your salvation, is that a sin and does that mean you’re not saved? So, I will hang up and listen to your question on the radio. Thank you. This thing about losing your salvation is quite a subtlety because if you say you can lose your salvation, I usually ask people, and if I have a piece of paper, I like to draw it out.

I draw a little stick figure and I say, here you are right now and here’s a point way over here to your right where you’re going to die. Now let’s see if I understand what you’re telling me about what you believe about salvation. You’re telling me that from this point here where you are right now and over here to when you die, if you live faithfully for God and then you die you’re going to heaven. Is that right? Yeah, right, right, right.

And then I start again and I say, well, what if you are right here and then you start off great and maybe after a few years you backslide and you don’t read your Bible anymore, you don’t go to church anymore and you’re not living for Christ and you die, what happens then? And they usually say, oh, well, I’d go to hell. And I say, well, obviously you’re trusting in your works and they’ll say, no, I’m not. I’ll say yes you are and they’ll say no I’m not.

And I said look at this little diagram we’ve drawn here. If we were to draw the line here between the point where we are right now and when we die and say that what you do between those two points determines your salvation, that’s works. So you’re telling me that how you live your life between now and death determines your salvation. And that’s works and you can’t be saved by works. So if you’re trusting that you have to work to be saved and stay saved, then you’re really trusting in works to save you in the Bible, so you can’t be saved by works.

If he just do nine and says salvation is not of works, lest any man should boast. So I hope that answers it for you. Basically, people that believe they can lose it will say things that sound real good. They talk about grace and they talk about salvation by faith, but in reality they are trusting in their works to get them there. And once you see this, I think you really are set free because you can never lose your salvation because you’re not keeping it.

Christ is the one that saves you, but He’s also the one that keeps you safe. So once you get saved, you are saved forever and ever and ever. And those that believe, I believe that say you can lose it really don’t many times understand what they’re saying, but they’re really probably not saved at all. We have Adam in Tampa, Florida and Adam will come to the Bible and you are on the air. I have an alto and Adam is not there.

So Adam you’ll have to call back. We have Elba in Tampa, Florida calls in. She says, I have a son that has become gay. I would like to know if he has lost his salvation that he has professed before this new lifestyle. Well, Elba, again, if you are saved, you’re saved forever, even if you were to announce that you’re now gay. Now the problem is that when you are disobedient to God’s word as somebody who might, if they made that statement and they’re now going to live a gay lifestyle, they’re living in a sin that is an abomination.

So the Lord might take them home. You know a lot of people that are gay can track these different sexual sins including AIDS and they die early. A lot of gay folks have died early and it’s the Lord, I think in some cases, taking them home as a delinquent believer, but they’re still saved. So if he really was saved, really knew the Lord is a Savior Elba, he’s still saved. but I’ll tell you, the Lord… He is not happy about somebody who is living at Lifestyle, so he may not live out a full life.

He might have numerous problems as a result of the gay lifestyle. It’s certainly in the Bible, in abomination, and the Bible says that it is in the Old Testament was punishable by death. Today, of course, we have so much of it. The reason why is a sign, first of all, of the end times. Jesus said it would be again as it was in the days of Lot when Christ would return. What do we see today? The lifestyle in Sodom is now out on the street today in American, Europe, and so on.

I think we’re living in the very last times that Christ accurately predicted what it would be like. It’s amazing to me that this has been a prophecy that Christ gave two thousand years ago. And when I was young, I never even heard about somebody who was gay. And now you can’t get away from it. It’s in our face every day. Thank you, Elbun. We’ll be praying for you. I know it’s difficult for you. We now have Adam back. And Adam, welcome to Bibleline your own ear.

in the Christians five that no the answer is no the fruit in the Matthew seven is the fruit of the believer or the food fruit of a false prophet it’s their convert it’s the person that they have influenced so if you were an apple tree you’d have apples as fruit if you’re a Christian your fruit is another believer or in the case of the tahos witness and other Jones’ Witness and that new one is just as prepped as the whole organization.

We’re going to go to break here. It’s amazing how quickly the time goes. What will come back and do a second half hour. So keep your radio tuned right where it is and we’ll come back in just a minute and do a second half hour by blind. And I hope you’ll stay tuned for the whole time. Don’t go away. line will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771.

Alright, I’m Dr. Inchlinztrupp and I hope you’re enjoying Bibleline today. It’s Wednesday and we’ll be here two more days this week and then back on Monday again next week. I hope you are helping us by telling your friends about the program, giving them to listen as well. And again, pray for those that are lost. We have so many that are deceived, thinking that they are Christian and will one day get to heaven because they are living the Christian life.

The Christian life didn’t die for you and shed its blood. Only Christ did. And you can only be saved by trusting Christ and what He finished for us at the cross of Calvary. So I hope you have trusted Christ and I hope your friends and family have trusted Christ. Sometimes you have to ask that question to be assured and that is to ask them, can you lose your salvation? Because that is a key question that needs to be answered by those that you talk to.

If they believe they can lose it, chances are they’ve never understood it. They’re still thinking that works have something to do with it and that means they’re not I hope you’ll really take note of that and try it. You’ll find out real quickly whether somebody’s saved or not. If you ask them if they’re a Christian, they’re all going to say yes, even if they’re a cult member, they’ll say that. But you need to ask the good question, can you lose your salvation?

We are ending up October today and we could share your prayers prayers and we can use your help. So if you could help Bibleline today, we would appreciate it very much. You can call and leave a gift by credit card over the phone. You can also call and get an envelope to be sent to you with our address on it and mail a gift to Bibleline. We really could use your help. I’m telling you the truth. We need your help and you could help us greatly by sending a gift of any size by mail or calling in and giving it by credit card over the phone.

We are excited about what we’re able to be doing right now and in order to continue that it requires your help and your gifts. He’s a Bibleline. So consider being a partner with us. And again, you can just call that 800-100-150-5767-71. Operators are standing by and they’ll be glad to help you. By the way, all of our staff, including myself, we’re all volunteers for this program. We try to take everything and throw it right back in there and get out as far as we can with the Gospel of Christ.

We’re going to go back and now return to the stations that have been on break and do a second. Half hour, so I hope you’ll keep your radio dial tuned right where it is. Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Alright, we’re back from that break. It’s Bibleline. We’re coming to you live from Tampa, Florida, from our studios here at the Calvary Community Church and we invite you to drop by and visit our resource center during the week.

We have people coming by all day long and we just love to get to meet those who come by. We hope that you’ll do that and if you can’t, if you’re in another city, go to the internet and you can visit our resource center by clicking on our online bookstore. Could you do that? Also, you can come by and worship with us sometime. We’d We’d love to have you do that. But again, if you live in another part of the country and you can get the Tampa, you can visit us on the internet.

You can catch our worship service live on Sunday morning at 11, and also you can go back and watch it as often as you will during the week. We have 51 sermons sitting there. That’s almost a year. This is coming Sunday. We’ll put a full year’s worth of sermons up there for you to watch and listen to at any time you want to. And if you want to catch it live on Sunday morning, you can. That’s exciting. And we have so many people that are watching.

In fact, a family now for the past two or three weeks has been viewing every week from Sweden in Europe. And so our radio partners, we know, are heard all over the world. But people are beginning to find out that the worship services and that’s audio and video on the internet. Exciting, exciting stuff. We’re now going to go to Ann and she is in Winterhaven and Ann, welcome to Bibleline you are on the air. Hi Ann. Hi. Good morning.

Good morning. You’re on the air. Hi. Thank you. I have the most wonderful news to tell you. I don’t know if you remember, but I spoke to you last week. I think it was off the air that time and then I spoke to you on the air another time. But I was very confused about my salvation and I was having a lot of doubts and really going through a lot of turmoil. And I just want to say to you that I finally understood.

Praise the Lord. Finally came on. And what it was is when you said the words to me, yes, but do you believe that he died for you, for you? And the Lord just kept ringing that and ringing that and ringing that in my head. And I just want to say to anybody that’s out there that might be like me, that maybe they had a trust issue in their life. All it is, it’s so simple, it is so simple, is just believing he died on the cross for your sins, for your sins, not just the world, but yours personally, and put your trust in that.

And there’s no reason for doubt. Why would you doubt? You don’t doubt God’s Word. So you just go back every time if a doubt comes, you just think that’s crazy. This is God we’re talking about. God Almighty, he died on the cross for me and I put my trust in him. I believe that. I know it’s true that he died for me. And there just should be no reason for a doubt. And I’m just, I’m thankful that the Lord, I don’t know why, he used this means or you or the radio station.

I don’t understand it all. I’m not even going to try to, but the light is on. And I thank you so much. And I just can’t say enough. My prayers are for you. I’m so happy. That’s great. I want to say. Thanks for sharing that with all of us because I know that you were really troubled when you first called. Oh my God. You have no idea. And then we’re not talking about months and years of being troubled. But it was just so intense.

These last few months, it’s just been horrible, horrible. I believe Satan just tormented me, but I think God has allowed that for a purpose, and obviously now we see what the reason is. And so I say, a, for torment. Only because it brought me to the light. It helped me to see. It brought me, because I was just at the end of myself, I said, I’ve got to know I’ve got to know I can’t live like this. I can’t go on.

I actually went off the phone with you Friday. I said to the Lord, please help me reveal it to me. And I want so bad to know you and everybody has said to me, well, if you want to know, you’ll know. And I kept thinking, well, why don’t I know yet? What is this nagging feeling? You know, what’s going on? And anyway, I don’t want to keep saying the same thing, but that was it. It’s just that I wasn’t trusting that he did it for me, for me.

Look at that. Well, that’s wonderful, Ann, and I’m glad that you are assured of your salvation now. And you can’t lose it. It’s kept by God. And so you’re saved eternally. Absolutely. Thank you very much. Thank you for sharing that with Ann. Thank you very much. That was in Winterhaven, Florida. And we’re now going to go to Matt in Spring Hill and Matt, welcome to Bibleline. Good morning, Dr. Hank. I’ve been listening. First part of the question is, the Bible says about being unequally yoked with non-believers and based on that, how does that apply to different doctrines within the realm of Christianity?

Well, obviously you’re to come out and be separate from churches and congregations where they don’t believe the Bible right because you’re unequally yoked. obviously you’re going to be stifled. I know when I went back and attempted to try to serve in the church I was raised in, it caused a great deal of controversy. And basically our family was forced to leave because we weren’t in harmony. And you know, there was such a liberty when we found a church that believed correctly, we were able to serve individually and as a family, and we just were as happy as could be, whereas we were having a difficult time because we were suppressed by wrong doctrine in the former church.

But Paul says it well in Romans chapter 1, and it’s a decision, I believe, every believer who’s going to be effective has to make. He says in verse 1 of Romans, Paul, a servant, a bond slave of Jesus Christ, called an apostle, And then he says, separated under the Gospel of God. Then this book clearly defines what the Gospel is and is not in the 16 chapters there in the Book of Romans. So we need to separate ourselves. It says here, separated unto the Gospel.

So when you are in a church where the Gospel is wrong, you really need to separate yourself and get out. And that’s what it is talking about there. So if you’re where the teaching is wrong, you don’t belong there and you need to get out where you can be free. And an interesting verse by the way is 2 Corinthians 3, let me quote this one for you. When you get in a church where the environment is good doctrine, it says where the spirit of the Lord is, this is 2 Corinthians 3 verse 17, where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

All of a sudden there’s a freedom to talk about Christ, to teach the doctrines in Sunday school and other programs within the church. You’re encouraged to share this good news with friends and relatives and the lost in your neighborhood and your community. And it’s just a wonderful feeling when everybody is on the same page. But if you’re going to a church that doesn’t believe, then you almost have to do it undercover and you have to keep your mouth shut in some cases.

That’s not what the Lord intended. So I hope that helps and we thank you for that call from I guess it was Matt in spring help we now have Ken in Decatur, Illinois and Ken welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air hello Ken hello Ken We’re having trouble today. I don’t know what’s going on here, but we’re now going to go to Stephanie in Richmond, Virginia Virginia, Stephanie, welcome to Bibleline. Yes, good morning. How are you? Good. Listen, I had just turned around when you were talking about the gays.

People, I wanted to know if the gay people, you know, that go to church and believe in Christ, you know, they’re saviour and stuff, will they go to Heaven, you know, when they pass? Absolutely they will. So, God so loved the world and that included people in the human race and all of us are sinners. All of us have sinned and have gone short of the glory of God. This is a particular sin that God says is an abomination.

And obviously… If you’re a believer, he’ll discipline you for that sin, but he will not cast you out, he’ll not lose you, and once you’re saved, you’re safe forever. But I was just reading Galatians chapter 5, was it 16, you know, 20, you know, and it’s saying, you know, witchcraft, hatred, all the stuff that God hates. So how can they really go? Well any of those things would keep you out of heaven without Christ and that’s what it’s saying there.

In verse 24 it says there you were crucified with Christ. So those sins are paid for and now you become the Lord’s and he says that as a believer you don’t want to continue in those sins because you’ll have the fruit of those sins in your life as opposed to the fruit of the Holy Spirit which comes by being obedient to the Lord. So if you’re a believer and you sin, you’re still going to be saved, but you will pay a consequence for doing that.

He’s not talking about loss of salvation. He’s talking about what kind of heartache you’ll have in your life if you don’t live for the Lord after you’re saved, but you’ll never be lost once you become saved. First Corinthians 6, 9 through 11 covers that same list, and it says in such were some of you, but you’re washed. You’re justified, you’re sanctified in the name of the Lord Jesus. So when you trust Christ, you were condemned because of those sins, but now you’re washed, you’re justified, you’re sanctified and the Bible tells us that now that you’re saved, it’s not expedient or it’s not a smart thing to continue in those sins.

First Corinthians says the same thing. It’s not a smart thing to do. God will deal with you but not as a lost person but as a saved person who is a childing God’s family that needs discipline and as a father disciplines his son so he disciplines the delinquent believer and so he’ll thank you and so I hope that helps answer that for you. Yeah but they keep on doing it you know I’m saying you know they are saying. Well they won’t keep on doing it too long God will take him to heaven early I mean I have seen this happen where I have I’ve buried a number of people that were gay but they died in their twenties you know they may not live a very long life it’s unfortunate for them and I’ve buried people in their 20s as a result of their drugs and alcohol.

One young man, a strong, good looking young man, quite intelligent, but he died at 31 and I buried him and he was a believer and he went to heaven but he went to heaven early. He died, he was drinking a fifth of alcohol a day and it just absolutely destroyed his kidneys and he died. So you don’t get away with it, you don’t live a long life by breaking the rules, but you’ll still be safe. Okay. Okay. Thank you so much.

You’re so welcome. Thank you for calling, and we’re now going to go back to Ken. We lost him before, but Ken, welcome to ByWine You’re On The Air. Okay, Dr. Hank, I just wanted to say, I heard earlier a fellow called in and I worked on this and worked on this myself trying to get it straight in my head and I finally heard you say it today that even if a person, you know, like we’re talking about people that are, you know, involved with like the church of God and all these places that teach that they go for a hundred years and never said and do all this stuff.

I have actually known people that were absolutely, and I know they were saved. I mean, they had the Holy Spirit in just the love of Christ was just all over, but they did believe that they could lose their salvation. But I honestly believe that they were saved, you know what I mean, that they absolutely trusted Christ. So I heard you say today, and I just wanted to make sure I got this right, that even though after they were saved if they got hooked in which is what a lot of that stuff is you know people are in an area they go to a church that’s what they teach and they get drawn into that work business but if they have truly accepted christ you know i mean absolutely trusted in his death barrow in resurrection and then fall into this works business they’re still safe they’ve just lost

rewards that correct That’s correct. I’m telling you, you don’t know what a blessing that is to hear it because these people I know they love the Lord Jesus Christ and I know they were saved but boy they really got some blacked out ideas and I got pulled into there but yet I knew I was saved. I finally ran from it you know when they unlocked the door and I’d finally get out of that I’m not sure I’ll be enough to go up.

Good for you. Thank you. But there was one other thing I wanted to say, and you know I talked to, you know, you got all your phone work and stuff, and that and that called in, if anybody ever wanted to support a ministry, if what that lady said today didn’t move people to want, in fact, you know, I’ve canceled a couple of places that I used to give to after I started listening to you here a year or so ago and I learned so much, realizing that I was given money to people who were not accomplishing anything for anybody.

This lady here, what you accomplished with this lady here today and is probably one of the greatest blessings of a person ever listened to someone that had been led to the Lord Jesus Christ in such a way and given assurance of their salvation and how precious that is. And I was sitting here yesterday and I said, well, I canceled out this other place I was giving money to and I’m starting to wear now all my money is starting to flow over toward you.

And that’s the Lord doing it and people that hear that kind of stuff, if they want to support a ministry that’s sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, that’s what they need to do, do support you and because you need to be on all over the world. You’re the only God never heard anybody like you anywhere and I’ve been listening to preachers for many many years and I just thank God for your ministry. God bless you. Well thank you Ken and God bless you and it takes everybody helping us to be able to spread it out further and further.

I look at some of the big ministries out there and I said if I had the amount of money that they have coming in, I would be everywhere in the world because… Well, if people are interested in actually sharing the gospel and helping people, what you did with that and is worth, I couldn’t work enough in my life to ever give enough money to pay for such a work as what was accomplished there through the Word of God and your teaching and your patience and just good, godly sense.

And I thank you. God bless you, John. Thank you so much. Yes, sir. Bye bye. Ken in Decatur, Illinois, listening up there. And we hope that you are listening as well. We do need your help. This is the last day in October. And we really stretch ourselves out so tight that we really just trust God every day for just enough to come in and take care of. I think it’s kind of like the children are eating the manna in the wilderness.

They waited every day for that manna to come and they couldn’t collect two days worth in one day. They had to get just enough for that day and then trust the Lord again the next day for the next days and that’s basically the way we operate here. We’re on a day by day basis trusting God to supply through our listeners like you. We’re now going to go to Chris in Seminole Florida and Chris, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air.

Hey, God bless you, Pastor Hank. Real quick question for you. I was just wondering if you could direct me to any references in the Bible where people are in heaven, but they have regrets or shame or any such. And I’m not hanging out with take notes. All right. Well, certainly 1 Corinthians 3, 15, the Joseph’s seat of Christ. It talks about there that if any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss. We don’t know exactly what that word suffer their means, but obviously they’ll suffer loss, loss of reward.

But then he goes on to say, but he himself shall be saved, yet so as by fire. So certainly they will be saved. Then it talks about in 2 Timothy 2, 15 that we’re just studying to show ourselves approved. It talks about the judgment of Christ, that when Christ examines us, that we would be approved and not disapproved. Let’s talk about rewards and he wants us to stand before him approved. I like the one over in 1 John and this is 1 John chapter 2 and it says here, I’m almost there, I’m turning down my Bible.

It says in verse 7. On the 9th of 28, these children abide in him, that when he shall appear, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before him at his coming. So here it talks about people being ashamed when they stand before the Lord as a believer, as he examines our works and determines whether we are worthy of reward or not. And with some he’ll say, well done, no good and faithful servant. And others he’ll say, I’m not too happy with you.

You’ve been a sloth for lazy servant and haven’t lived for me. Another one is in 1 Peter chapter 4. Here it talks about in verse 18, if the righteous, that’s the believer, scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear.” Now in the verses before that it talks about God here judging the believers at the judgment seat of Christ a thousand years before he judges the unsaved and how that some will suffer loss and be ashamed because they haven’t lived for Christ.

That’s a few. I’ll have to think about it and try to come up with some more for But thank you for that call. And that was Chris in Seminole, Florida, I guess. We’re now going to go to Ryan in St. Petersburg, and Ryan, welcome to Bibleline You’re On The Air. Hi, how are you doing Hank? I have a question in Isaiah chapter 3 verse 9 and verse 12 about homosexuality. Is this talking to me? This is what I know in chapter 2 it says, the promise for the last days.

And it talks about they declare their sin as thought on and they do not hide it. It’s like they’re proud of their sin and they’re just openly exposing it. Another question about verse 12, it says, For my people, children are their oppressors and women rule over them. Just the other day, Argentina had the first lady, which her husband was the president, and then she won. And now right now we have Hillary Clinton, her husband was president, and now she’s up for election.

I just want you to comment on those, and then I’ll hang up the line and listen. Thank you. Thank you. All right, thank you. Well, definitely, this is talking about the last days. Isaiah begins immediately in chapter two and leaps us to the future. And we’re reading the things that are happening that I see you spoke about in our news, in our headlines today. And here talks about in the last days that people that are homosexual will be out and open in your face that wouldn’t hide their sin.

And it says, well, we’re judgment unto them because God will definitely judge them. In the past, you see where God has judged these sins, Sodom and Gomorrah were totally destroyed by God. Also, I visited Italy there when the people in Pompeii were killed. That city was full of homosexuality. I never had an idea until I actually visited there and saw the paintings throughout the city. I wish I really hadn’t seen them because it was all pornographic. But no wonder Mount Massuvius went to Bloot’s stack.

Those poison gases came in and killed those people and they were actually killed while they were going about their daily business. But it was a similar incident, I think, to that Asatamikumora. And the Bible says that it would be like that when Christ returns and God will judge the whole world and every unsafe person will be destroyed. Thank you so much. We now have Steve in St. Petersburg. Steve, welcome to Bibleline your own ear. Yes, Barry Christmas. Well, thank you.

Merry Christmas to you. And Samson committed suicide in the heathen heaven. He mentioned in the New Testament I was searching for the past. I know it’s in there. And also to Harold. Harold. If you remember, Har Carroll, the angel sing Glory to the Newborn King. All right. Very good. Thank you Steve. And yeah, there are suicides in the Bible and it’s not the unpardonable sin. Again, that was a wrong connecting of the dots by the Roman Catholic Church, which teaches that if you committed suicide that you would go directly to help.

We now have Tony in Richmond, Virginia. Tony, welcome to Bibleline your own there. Hey Dr. Lindstrom. I just miss crazy every time I get on the phone with you. I got 10 things I want to say, but I want to narrow down to just one. And I called in and I will be the second. I just wanted to call. I was so prompted that there’s two souls right there that you led to Christ, mine and hers. I want to say that God kept me alive and kept me through just to be able to hear and get that true gospel.

The gospel, Fire and Brimstone Church didn’t have true gospel, excuse me, a full gospel, Tapping Aqual Church, didn’t understand it. And you did it through the Word and prompted me to listen because of my wife saying to me, Man, I don’t know if I’m going to be ready when Jesus comes back. And next time I was like, wow, you don’t know if you’re ready. Like, you know, be saved. So the more I listen and the more I check you out and ask you questions, you just pointed it through the word.

I thank the Lord for you and your ministry. Hey, the other thing I want to know is about tithing, right? Like, was that established outside of the law before the law even began to stay with Abraham encountering Melchizedek, who they believe is the translated Jesus. It was always a principle of giving. Jacob gave a tithe, Abraham gave a tithe, and so on. That was before the law was ever given. So it’s a principle to give a portion of what God has blessed you with and seems like 10 percent is that.

I’ve got a run. Thank you so much, Tony, for sharing that with us today. We’ve got to go. If you want to help my blind, you can call and give a gift by credit card or You can mail it in by asking for an envelope with our address on it. One of the blessings is to hear people share how they’ve gotten saved by hearing the Bible line program.

We see that all the time and we have people that write in and many write in from different jails where they’re listening to Bible lines. Some of the gun Bible studies that are sharing the gospel in the jails. Isn’t that exciting? Wherever this program is heard, if we get people telling us of the impact that it has and that’s exciting. If you want to help us, it would be greatly appreciated. This is a time when we really need your help and your gift would be a blessing.

You can do it by phone, call in, and tell our operators you’d like to give a gift by credit card and they can do that. Or if you want an envelope to be sent to you with our address on it, they’ll do that and you can mail your gift in. Also, you can do it on our online bookstore. There’s a place to give there as you go to Bible and Ministries.org. And again, we thank God for you, our listeners, because it’s your calling in and your questions that really kind of direct the program, and we’re really talking to you and the needs that you have as you bring the questions to the table. Pray for us, and tomorrow, another month, it’s hard to believe, we’ll be in November. help us close out October if you would by giving a gift to the Bible.
