We’ll have some great food and great fellowship and we’d love to have you be a part of that. So that’ll be the Sunday and also this Sunday will be baptizing. We have quite a few people that are going to be baptized.

If you have not been baptized and you’re in driving distance, we’d welcome you to come and I’d love to be able to be the one to baptize you. Please call and get your name on the list and you could call our 800 number after the program and get the details on the baptism that will occur at three o’clock in the afternoon on the third Sunday of the month, the 17th of August and we hope that you’ll take advantage of that.

Every believer ought to be water baptized, to be saved. It’s a testimony of how you’re cleansed of your sin by the blood of Christ. Only the blood of Christ could wash away your sin and the water is symbolic. It’s a picture of what happens when you get saved. You’re cleansed of your sin by the blood of Jesus Christ. We hope that you’ll take advantage of this. If you were baptized as a child, if you were baptized before your salvation, then obviously you need to be water baptized because that doesn’t count.

It can’t be a testimony of your faith in Christ if you’ve done it before you had faith in Christ. Doesn’t make any sense does it? So call us we’ll be glad to include you. Also don’t forget you can check on our Israel trip before next February. If the word hasn’t taken us out before then we plan to leave on the 23rd of February and come back March the 4th. We’ll have a great time. It’ll be trip number 16 for me.

I’ll be there with you and we’ll study the Bible from morning till night and actually right at the locations where everything is taking place. We’ll open the scriptures, take a look at what the Bible says and I’ll tell you, it makes the Bible come alive. You can’t explain it to somebody, but when you come back, you visualize Jerusalem. You visualize Mount Calvary. You visualize the Tomb of Christ. And you can just get a grip on the geography and just visualize the whole land of Israel from one end to the other.

We’re going to have a good time. I hope you’ll consider going and I hope that the Lord allows us that opportunity if he hasn’t come back this year to snatch us out. will be going February the 23rd. If you go to my website, BibleLineMinistries.org and if you click on the Bible-ign news just above the camera, just above the camera it says Bible-ign news, click on that then it says Israel, tour brochure, click on that and you’ll be able to print it out, read it and study it.

But if you would like us to mail you one, if you’ll call, give us your address, We’ll mail that out to you for your charge and you can make your decision about the trip to Israel I’d love to have you go our phone number here by blind is 1-800-576-3771 That’s 1-800-576-3771 and we hope that you’ll Give us a call and if you have a question we’ll try to Answer it on the air and if not you can just sit back and listen or you can leave a question off air and And as we can get to them, we have a lot of them here.

We’ve been following behind on trying to get the offer your questions answered We’ve had so many live collars, but we’ll try to get some of them done each day We’re gonna talk about the Bible if you have your Bible get it open and you can take a look at what we’re gonna be talking about Can a person Who has been saved? lose his salvation Well, this question seems to come up again and again And maybe you have had this question as well.

We know that the phrase eternal security doesn’t occur in the Bible, but phrases that are equivalent to eternal security do. Phrases like everlasting life, eternal life, eternal salvation, eternal inheritance, eternal redemption, etc., etc. occur dozens and dozens of times throughout the Bible. Eternal security is not a separate doctrine from that of eternal life or eternal salvation. It is one and the same. In fact, the only salvation that God offers to mankind is eternal. You see it in John 3 16, for God still loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.

God doesn’t offer probation, he offers salvation. God does not offer a trial period but rather offers to completely save and gives eternal life to any and everyone who responds to his invitation to trust Jesus Christ as his or her only hope of reaching heaven. Consider the alternative that you could lose your salvation. By virtue of the fact that you could lose it would mean that keeping it would depend upon your efforts and your actions and your obedience and your behavior to keep it.

In other words, a person who says he can lose his salvation for whatever reason is in reality saying that he’s trusting in human works to save him. Look at Ephesians 2, 8, 9. It says, 4 by grace, mercy, unmerited favor. Are you saved through faith in Jesus Christ? And that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast. Salvation is not of works, and therefore a person who is trusting in his works is not and will not be saved.

What are we saying? Well plainly stated a person who says he can lose his salvation is probably not saved or he is thoroughly confused and lacks assurance of his salvation. If you’re not saved forever then you’re not saved. Let me say that again. If you’re not saved forever, then you’re not saved. If you’re not saved forever, then you’re not saved. In other words, salvation by definition is to be delivered, to be rescued. It is not a process. It’s something that happens at the moment you believe and is possessed forever thereafter.

And if you’re not saved forever, then you’re not saved because then it is something of self of works and you cannot be saved by works. Salvation as taught in the Bible is a present possession. He received at the time of the new birth or acceptance of Christ as one’s personal Savior. And that person, according to the Bible, is kept secure or eternal by the very power of God. Consider verses like John 1028 where Christ says, no one is able to pluck you out of his hand.

in John 1028 Christ says, you would never perish, never perish. What about John 637? Where Jesus says, he would never cast out anyone who has trusted him as his Savior for any reason. Let me quote the verse, all that the Father giveth me shall come to me and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. Well Jesus meant exactly that. There is no circumstance or instance that would ever cause you to be cast out if you once trust Christ as your Savior and become saved.

Well some people have said to me, ok Christ won’t cast me out, but I can cast myself out. Well guess what? That’s impossible. with me, John 637, Jesus said, this is the Father’s will. This is verse 39, John 639, this is the Father’s will which has sent me. The level which had given me I should lose none which should raise them up again at the last day. Jesus promises that he would never lose anyone who has come to him for his salvation and that this is the Father’s will.

So if If anyone were ever lost after they became saved, then Jesus Christ would be a liar because he said in John 639 that he would not lose one, not one. If just one person in all of history were ever lost after they became saved, Christ would be a liar. And the word of God, of course, could not be trusted. I am so glad that the Bible makes it very clear that at the moment you believe you receive and possess everlasting life.

You know, my favorite verse, it’s hard for me to say that because every verse of the Bible is my favorite. But first John 5, 13, I particularly love on this topic because it says there that you could know that you have eternal life. It’s in writing. I call it the written guarantee. things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God that you may know KNOW that you have H-A-V-E Present tense you possess right now eternal life You can know you have you can know you have you can know you have it doesn’t say hope or guess or perhaps or maybe or think so So you can actually know that you have eternal life.

And if you have eternal life today, what kind of life will it be tomorrow? It’ll still be eternal. What about next week? It’ll still be eternal. How about a year from now? It’ll still be eternal. How about a hundred years from now? It’s still good to be eternal. How about a million years from now? It’ll still be eternal. In other words, if you have eternal life at the moment you believe, you’ll have it tomorrow next week next year, ten years from now, a hundred years from now, a million years from now, A billion years from now, if it’s eternal, it’s forever, and you possess it at the moment you believe in forever thereafter.

This is good news, and this is what the Bible proclaims. And you know, I’m so glad that I discovered this in 18. I finally found out the true message of the Bible that you’re saved eternally. And you know, it’s so important for you to understand this, because if you believe you can lose it, I’m in doubt of your salvation. because you’re generally saying that you are having to do something to maintain your salvation, which is works. If you think that there’s something that you can do or not do between now and death that will determine whether you’re saved or not, then you’re probably not saved because you’re trusting in your works and it makes you the Savior not Christ and you won’t be saved at all.

That’s scary. plead for your soul that you would understand the difference here because you really need to know that eternal life is something that was purchased by God at a great price. It cost the life and the death and the shed blood of Christ to purchase your salvation. And he gives you eternal life as a gift that he has purchased. And it’s nothing to do with what you will do except you simply receive it. But if you had to do something to keep it, then it would no longer be a gift.

It would be something that you’ve earned or deserved because of your works. And obviously, according to the Bible, you would not be saved at all. So if you believe you could lose it, you probably aren’t saved. This is a major major major doctrine. If you don’t get this right, you don’t go to heaven. And that’s obviously something you don’t want to mess up on. The Bible says you can’t save yourself. It’s not what you do for God. That saves you.

It’s what God did for you in Christ that saves you. And Jesus paid it all. I love that hymn. Jesus paid it all. All to Him I owe. Sin had left a crimson stain. But He washed it. as widest know. He’s the one that saved you. He’s the one that died for you. He’s the one that shed his blood. He’s the one that was buried and rose again from the dead. When you trust him, God saves you. You can do it right now, wherever you might be.

You can say, Lord, I don’t understand a whole lot, but I trust Jesus right now as my Savior and the moment you trust Christ and His death and shed blood, the fact that He was buried and came back again from the dead. As the only means of your salvation God saves you eternally. I’m Dr. Englundsster. We’re going to go to the phone lines. We have callers calling in from all over and we’d love to hear from you. You’re certainly welcome to call us at 1-800-576-3771 and we’ll try to take your call in the order they received.

We’re going to go first to Larry and Larry is in St. Petersburg and Larry, welcome the Bible and you’re on the air doctor and ask you in the book of revelations when the devil was thrown into the bottom of the pit why is he why is he allowed to be released again after the thousand years what’s what’s the purpose of that i believe it’s to demonstrate the wickedness of the human heart you know the thousand year reign of christ begins with only believers.

All unbelievers are slain by Christ at his Second Coming and only believers in are in, but they will still be in their mortal bodies. These will be people who get saved after the rapture during the tribulation period and they survive all the judgments and wars and Armageddon and they live into that thousand year period in their mortal bodies and they will have children and their children will grow up and marry and have children. And each of these children will have a nature inherited from Adam by birth and they will need to know Christ as their Savior.

And what is amazing to me is apparently that with the earth filled with the knowledge of the Lord, with Christ visibly ruling on the planet earth from Jerusalem, that there will be apparently by the end of that thousand year period, be millions of people that will never have trusted Christ as their Savior. And you would never know it because it’s kind of hidden under the radar, but when Satan is listed at the very end, he is able to round these people up and form an army, and he comes against Jerusalem in his last battle.

And Christ, of course, very easily destroys him with the power that comes right out of his mouth. And at that point, Satan is then finally cast in the hell, as it says in Revelation 20 verse 10, and the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and where he will be tormented day and night forever and ever. So I believe it is to expose the fact that even with ideal conditions, I used to love that comedian, Flip Wilson, and he would always say the devil made me do it.

Well during that thousand year period, nobody is going to be able to say the devil made me do it because he won’t be present. be bound in the bottom of the pit and not able to deceive people, but we find that in spite of that the wickedness of the human heart is such, and I loved Jeremiah 17 9, the heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked. And so the human heart is such that men will still reject Christ when He is visibly ruling right on the earth.

Okay, thanks a lot, Dr. A. You’re very welcome, Larry. for that call and we’re now going to go to uh… kurtis and tampa and kurtis welcome to buy my new year are you good I have kind of an old testament, a new testament, converging question, Aesthetistic pre-trib, post-trib, called Last Week. He gave me Ephesians 3. What Ephesians 3 then was the mystery of the church age. Is that what’s the mystery? Yeah, that was the mystery. The fact that God…

god would uh… turn to the gentiles and he would include the jew and the gentile in one body called the body of christ okay and that we would be his witnessing tool during this two thousand year period okay so the church age then there was really no profit of blank period it’s not revealed. Yes. So in other words, if you were reading the Old Testament, the prophets saw the first coming, they saw the second coming. But they didn’t see what happened in the interval with me.

And in the middle, right? Because that was that church that concealed. And then the revelations 10-7. It says then the mystery is revealed and it’s completed. It’s basically kind of looking back now and say, see, that’s what was going on. You can go back and take a look and say, wow, you know, if you could only have known what we know today, you can see it. Exactly. All right. Now down to the real question, the pre-tread, post-read, what it is, I think I told you last week, anyway, I have kind of a messianic Jew that I’ve been working with and he sees it as a post, I see it as a pre, so in the 1st Thessalonians 416 when it mentions four specific things, the Lord himself descends from heaven, that was of course the prophecy of his coming.

With the voice of an archangel, that was the birth announcement, with the Trump of God, possibly the Feast of Trumpets, that dead in Christ shall rise first. This is where he and I separate ourselves. dead in Christ shall rise first. He sees that at the end of the seven-year period. I see it as absent from the body, present with the Lord, and it was also when Jesus descended into the heart of the earth when he set the captives free.

From that point on it’s absent from the body, present with the Lord. So therefore the dead did rise first, that’s them, and then the first Thephalonians 4, 17, then we which were alive remain and shall be caught up together with them and the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. There’s your rapture. Is that at least my understanding, am I correct? Well, pretty good. I would differ a little bit with you. But basically, the rapture there and what’s going to take place at the return of Christ, there is the resurrection of the church-age saints.

you The Old Testament saints are resurrected at the Second Coming, that’s described in Revelation 20 verses one through six, and we’re a special group. When we, the bride of Christ, the church is caught up, will be, his bride will become married to Christ during that seven year tribulation period to come back with him at the Second Coming, and that’s when he raises the Old Testament saints and the tribulation saints will get their resurrection bodies, those that have died. So basically when Christ comes back, everybody who’s lived during this age from Pentecost until the Rapture, those that have already died will get their resurrection bodies first.

And then in a twinkling of an eye, we will be caught up and be transformed into our bodies on the way up and we’ll meet them in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord. And then we’re going to, of course, come back with him seven years later at the second coming when he will resurrect the Old Testament Saints and the Tribulation Saints. And the tides will make people even die in faint because they won’t know what to do about it.

And I thought that was kind of a neat rep. Absolutely. Amen. Well, thank you very much always. Oh, you’re welcome. Thank you Curtis. And we’re living close. these events happening now with Russia going into Georgia and the Georgians pleading for us to go in and help them. I’m telling you we are, can you imagine if we go in and help we’ll be firing real bullets at Russian soldiers? Wow, so we’re coming to the time when the world conflict will occur and I’m just glad we’re leaving before that happens and the ones that are left behind will deal with it says wars and rumors of wars look at how many wars and rumors of wars we got going on right now it seems like we’re just seeing something new in the headlines every day we now have Matthew in spring hill Florida and Matthew welcome to

Bibleline you’re on the end of the day. Hey Hank what does the Bible have to say about sharing the gospel with someone who’s intoxicated? Well I don’t know that it says anything about doing that but of Of course they need to hear the gospel, but when they’re intoxicated they probably aren’t going to comprehend what you have to say. So I think I would recommend you wait until they sober up unless you don’t have any other opportunity, but they’re just not going to comprehend much.

I’ve tried to talk to a bunch of drunks and they don’t get much out of what you’re saying. Yeah, sure. Well, do you think when Jesus was, you know, I mean, he was always accused of doing what you think you actually spend time with people while they were drunk or just you know what I’m saying? I think he was obviously wanting to reach the loss that he was accused of being around prostitutes and of course around people who drank and so on but I don’t think that they were intoxicated necessarily while they were talking.

I think they would drink with their meal and they may have gotten intoxicated but Christ never would have violated that so I don’t believe Christ never got drunk. The Bibleline is in the summer and we’re falling a little bit short here. We could sure use your help if you want to help Bibleline call and give a gift by credit card over the phone or call it as for an envelope to be sent and we’ll mail you an envelope with our address on it.

You can mail your gift into Bibleline and help us get through the month of August and get through the summer. If you have not been water baptized, I would be delighted to be here.

baptized you. Maybe you don’t have a church home. Maybe you don’t have a church that does immerse believers. That means to put you fully out of the water as the New Testament teaches. And so we’d be happy to do that. You can call and get your name on the list and get the information from our operators and we’ll be baptizing and make it a day. Come to the 1030 service, come then for the dinner and then stay and hang out with us for a little bit as we then will go toward the baptismal site around 2 and at 3 we’ll have the baptism bring your family friends bring your cameras and we’ll have a great time at a beautiful site.

Grassi lawn under nice shade trees looking out at the lake a nice sandy bottom will go right out it’s a gradual slope and and we’ve never lost anybody so we’ll have a great time and it’s a great way of giving testimony to how you’ve been saved and cleansed of your sin by the blood of Jesus Christ. We’re going to go to Walter in Miami and Walter welcome to Bible Land. Yes, Dr. Hayne. Yes, you’re on here. Okay. Yes. I thank you for taking my call and also I have a comment with just to add to your answer that you gave the gentleman they call about three calls ago about Satan being released after the thousand years.

Yes, Sir, I agree with what you said because it does show that simple nature of humanity, but I believe also that God would be an unjust God to let Satan tempt us and not those people that were born during the Millennium reign. So I believe also that he’s released to tempt them. Okay. Well, I think you’re saying fair is fair then they need to get their chance to have to have Satan get involved. But what’s interesting there is that they’re already lost.

They’re already, because of the wickedness of the human heart, rejected or turned down Christ when he’s living visibly before them on the face of the earth here. And Satan’s simply able to round him up into an army to come against Jesus. But definitely, Satan will get one last final opportunity. final opportunity and you pose an interesting point there uh… walter thank you so much okay and thank you and keep up the good work you have an alright about that was altered on the miami and we’re now going to go to carol in tampa florida carol welcome to bible and you’re on the earth i was wondering last night i was reading uh…

something i usually find The first book of Matthew talks about the generations and the lineage and whatnot. I noticed something I hadn’t noticed before, but it talks about Jacob, he got Joseph, the husband of Mary. I was wondering how, because the Bible says that she was conceived from the Holy Ghost. of Jesus lineage tie in to Joseph or like he talks about it talks about the son of David when we know that it was the Holy Ghost that was one of the conceived Mary and Mary was just basically you know what he called it surrogate mother I guess you could say but there was no connection I just want to get you that for me what we What you really have here is you have two genealogies, one in Matthew that traces Joseph all the way back to King David and back to Abraham and that

Jesus would be of the Kingly line and Joseph being of the Kingly line could pass on the airship to the throne as the Messiah would sit as King over Israel one day. So in order to be King he had to be of that lineage and of course when the wise men came in chapter 2 of Banthea says, whereas he that is born king of the Jews. So they knew that he would come as a king. And so therefore he had to be of the kingly line of the lineage of David who was of course the king.

God promised that of his seed the Messiah would one day come and sit and rule on the earth. But as far as the flesh is concerned, Mary also is related back to King David. And if you read Luke 3 and the genealogy there, you’ll find that David had two sons Solomon and another son Nathan. If you’ll notice the genealogy carefully, the one in Luke takes it from David through Nathan down on Mary’s side, and Mary was also related to King David and of the lineage of David.

As pertained to the flesh, his body was related back to King David, but not through Joseph. Joseph could pass on the airship to the throne. So the two people the only two people on the planet that could have been the parents of Jesus were Mary and Joseph And God put them both together Hmm let me Appreciate that let me ask you one question that I’m gonna hang up I listen to Adrian Rogers in the morning. Did you give me some background here?

I’m gonna I might hear I think this sounds good But I’m just wondering if you know any maybe about him that I should know about and I’m not like Adrian very very much He’s been a great Bible teacher and a great mentor to many. Unfortunately, the guy that follows him every day seems to mess up the gospel and have you invite Jesus into your heart and do other things to be saved. But Adrian, a wonderful, wonderful man of God, and we surely miss him.

He’s in heaven today as he recently passed away. And some of the greats have left us here recently. Thank you so much for that call. we’re now going to go to Bobby in Bradenton, Florida. And Bobby, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Oh, thank you. I enjoy you so much. My daughter and I have drawn a blank on a verse here that we do like and about all we can think of this morning is of a sound mine and I cannot think of where that is in the Bible.

Well you’re probably talking about Timothy and about the Holy Spirit is the spirit of gives us spirit of peace out of a sound mind. A lot of us craziness today that people are attributing the craziness to the Holy Spirit. They can’t be the Holy Spirit because these people go crazy in the Bible. You’re gonna have a sound mind in the spirit of peace. I’ll give you the exact reference but it’s in Second Timothy, I believe in Second Timothy chapter 1 verse 7.

For God had not giving us the spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Yes, yes, yes. First, was that second? Second Timothy, on one seven. One seven. Thank you so very much. Welcome Bobby and continue to listen. Oh, I’ll do that every day. Beautiful. Thank you now. Thank you. All right. Second Timothy. All right, we’re now going to go to Bernard in Tampa, Florida and Bernard, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air.

Hi, I’m Pastor, my question is simply this, I hear a lot of people talk about being covered, being under a covering and things of that nature and I can’t find it in the Bible where you have to be under a covering. I thought Christ Jesus was your covering. So could you elaborate on that, why, listen? You know, a lot of teaching is man-made, but basically it talks about being under God’s protection. And if you go outside of the umbrella of his protection, then you’re going to get yourself in trouble.

It says over in the book of Jude, keep yourself in the love of God. Now, how are you going to do that? That means do the things that God wants you to do, hang with the people that are doing would God wants them to do and keep your life pure. And you’re going to be right there where you need to be where God is going to be. You’re going to be in His love and His protection. But if you step outside that and you’re hanging with people that are evil and people that are ungodly and you’re going to get yourself in trouble probably.

And the Bible says in Psalms one, blessed is the man that does not walk with the ungodly and he doesn’t stand with the sinners in the scornful and doesn’t sit down with these people and become part of them. So you have to obviously draw a line in the sand and say, I need to hang with the right kind of people and I need to be doing the right kind of things in my life and when you do that you are in a sense you get your bases covered it’s not what i thought it was that no i think that i think well whatever hearing they sometimes is misleading convoluted but that’s what the bible teaches right there really mislead people because of uh…

please and i’ll know that the government by the blood of price was all covered by the blood of christ yes salvation absolutely it’s only by the blood and the blood alone but i again people uh… are not they’re using non-biblical terms and and concepts that are kind of slippery they’re not defined very well and uh… you can really get yourself confused when you kind of follow all that kind of stuff you just need to be in your bible you’ll be fine yes thank you you have a great day you to know thank you for calling in And we’re now going to go to Herbie.

And Herbie is in Miami and Herbie, welcome to Bibleline. Yes, Asa. Yes. Thank you. I want to ask you a question because it’s been a very powerful book to me. And I’ve heard people explained it in different ways, to believe her. And I want for you to make the Reppet artist repeat it one time and go on a couple. Well, you know, Jesus warned about Reppet Jesus’ prayer. And I think the whole point was that the heathen would have these prayers.

The Roman Catholics do it with the rosary. They just say the same prayer over and over and over again. And so in order to keep track, they have the rosary, which I think is the equivalent of the Chinese Abakas. They just kind of keep track of the numbers by sliding the beads. But God said, don’t do that. It’s really conversation. But yet in Luke 18, you can continue to bring a topic back up to the Lord until it’s answered, because it tells the story there that we need to keep on keeping on in prayer and asking until we get the right answer.

Of course, we need to be careful we don’t pray for something that’s not in God’s will. We might get it, and we don’t want that. But definitely, you can ask the Lord, like if you have a loved one that’s lost, you want to get them saved. They pray for them every day. Right. But to say a repetitious prayer, and I think children, we teach them to do that, and they have a little prayer, they say at the meal time, and you do the same one every day until they learn it.

But we need to grow beyond childhood and be able to just talk to the Lord and say, well, thank you Lord for your goodness and how you provided again today a fresh for my needs and give him thanks. And the same thing, if you are sick and you need to be healed, keep on praying. But, and again, we’ve brought this up many times. It’s not always God’s will for you to be well. Right. And so sometimes you might, you might have to say, thank you Lord for this illness.

I know you have a reason for it. And, and, and Paul was made ill to keep you humble. But there’s about 10 or 12 different reasons for illness. You know, the blind man in John chapter 9, the disciples wanted to point their fingers. They said, why is this man blind? Did his parents sin or did he sin and they wanted to put the finger on somebody? And Jesus said neither. None of that. He says, this man was born blind for the glory of God.

The Christ might heal him and get the glory. And this man is obviously a special man that we’ll read about and talk about forever that God had allowed him to be blind from birth so Christ could heal him. They can see that Jesus was God and flesh who could bring sight to the blind nobody else could do that right? Okay, thank you that answer my question beautiful. Thank you for your call and we’re now gonna go to Annie in Miami, Florida and Annie welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air Go ahead any year on the air Hi there don’t listen to the radio because it’s so delayed Yeah, I would.

Hi, good morning. How are you? Good. Turn your radio down. Okay, I’m going in another part of the house. Okay. I’m going to ask a question. Something is troubling me. At my church, when we pick up the offering, there’s a prayer parade that we believe in God for houses, for land, for signing, money, for paying off bills and so on and so forth. And I would seem to pray that prayer. And I want to know, is that script you will pay in that process, something that I already have.

Well there’s nothing in the Bible that gives a prayer like that at all and that’s purely a man-made prayer that they have you pray in your church apparently but not at all. We’re to give from the heart as a expression of our love to the Lord for what He has given to us. He gave His life for us at the cross and we’ve become so rich in Christ. We’ve been given a home in heaven, the forgiveness of sins. We’ve become born again and we have him as our Heavenly Father.

We can go to the Lord day and night and so on. But there’s nothing new prayer of that nature in the Bible that you can find. That’s just purely accustomed that your church has developed and is having you pray. But I might be in this soul because I refuse to pray and I might be in this obedient, not to pray. I’d say if you do not feel comfortable with it, I wouldn’t pray it either. No, I feel selfish to pray for.

I got two or three cars. I got a house. I feel selfish plan and asking God for that. Very good. I think you’re probably very correct about that. Okay, and thanks Ryan. Do I listen to you very much? Thank you, Annie. Annie in Miami and we’re now going to go to David in Palm River Florida and David. Welcome to by blind. David you’re on here. Dr. Hacks. Yeah, can you hear me? I hope you can hear me. Okay, I was watching Bible prophecy in the news last night with Joe Bank Grover and he had to get some of the Bible prophecy.

and he had to get speaker on last name mrs. Are you familiar with him? I’m not too familiar with him, but I heard that name. He was saying last night he had pictures that the UN has is in front of the completing a project in Babylon 105 acre project 22 buildings and they were going to move from New York to there and I have never seen anything like that, read anything like that one or two. I think about that.

No, I’ve never heard that and I don’t think that’s true. It may be, but ancient Babylon was destroyed. If you read Isaiah 13, God said it would be destroyed and never rebuilt again. And I believe that’s exactly where it lays. Nebuchadnezzar, of course, was king of Babylon. And that was quite a remarkable city in his time. But the The Bible said it would be destroyed and never rebuilt. And I think Isaiah 13 is still applying today that it’ll never be ever rebuilt.

Now, we know that King Hussein, when he was in power there in Iraq, wanted to become another Nebuchadnezzar. And he put pictures or statues, pictures of statues of Nebuchadnezzar next to his picture. And he was attempting to rebuild Babylon as a tourist attraction. But it was never, never intended to be a large commercial city, again, as it once was in the past. And that’s what I think that these people are dreaming about is they look at prophecy. They try to see the word Babylon.

They don’t realize that the word Babylon did refer to an ancient city. But now it’s a broader thing in prophecy where it includes the concepts, the political and religious system of ancient Babylon and also the one-world uh… language of ancient babble or babble on uh… will be repeated in the endays we see all that today right yet pictures and i never heard anything about it that was a supposedly hundred five-acre plot with twenty two buildings that almost completed with cranes and everything and i didn’t know the union was based in new york to begin with but uh…

he claims that that they’re in a process of moving there and it’s all about being the middle of what he called the oil patch and again you’ll never see anything like that. I don’t give that any credibility at all. I would forget that. Okay. Thank you so much. A lot of these people have done that. I had a person that had been over there waving when saying he was rebuilding into the tourist attraction and he said it was pitiful really.

It still lies in ruins and nobody has really inhabited. It’s never become a viable city again and won’t. I don’t believe it will at all. So now we’re going to go to Matthew in Spring Hill and Matthew, welcome to the Bible and you’re on there. Hey, just a quick note. The previous caller, the building he was talking about is actually a U.S. embassy that’s being built on the Tigris, right on the edge of the Tigris and that’s in Iraq.

It is an hypothesis. You can see it from space, but it’s an embassy. It’s not meant to be for the UN. My question is, how would you live with John 3 16 when the Psalmist says that that God hates all workers of iniquities? Well, obviously it’s talking about their iniquity and obviously God hates sin. He loves sinners and would love to have somebody become saved, but those who work iniquity, And the greatest iniquity really is that of rejecting Christ.

If you tie that with Matthew 7, verse 22 and 23, we find those that we’re trying to be saved by works and not by faith in Christ. Christ said, depart from me, ye that work iniquity. So the greatest sin, the impartable sin, is that of rejection of Christ. And I believe that’s probably where it’s going. going, that God so loved the world. But if you reject Christ, then you’ve committed that in part of sin, and you’ll be cast into the eternal lake of fire, and you’ll never be forgiven.

That’s the one sin that cannot be forgiven. If you die without Christ, if you reject the only provision God has made for sin, then you’ll never be saved at all. I hope that helps a little bit. Sure, so you would say that the workers of an equity are people who are referring to the price rejecters. Yeah, they’re price rejecters. Sure, sure, ain’t that a name, Hank? Okay, thank you for calling in and thanks for the tip off on the embassy being built.

It has nothing to do with the UN and getting that straight. Now we have Dave now in Palm Harbor and Dave welcome to Bibleline. You’re on the air. Hi, I just want to let you know I’m kind of naive to the Bible. My grandma just sent me a Bible a little bit ago, and she sent me some passages that she wanted me to read. And I’ve been reading them, and I got to Romans 5-7, and it says, very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, go for a good man.

my costly dirt eye and I was… Well, you have to read on though because what is talking about is that Jesus Christ died for us who are ungodly and the verse 8 says, God committed His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. So somebody might be willing to give their life to save somebody who is a good person but to die for somebody who’s a rotten criminal bum, and the Bible really describes all of us in that condition that we’re all sinners, all deserving of going to hell.

The fact that Christ would die for us tells us how rich and wonderful his love is, that he would be willing to leave heaven, come to the earth and die to pay for our sins. So I think she’s trying to get you to trust Christ. Have you ever trusted Christ as your Savior Dave? Well, I have like in a kind of informal way to myself. That’s the only way to do it really is because it’s between you and God.

When you trust that Jesus died for you and when you see yourself as a sinner as we all are, we’ve all come short of God’s glory and we’ve all done things wrong and you trust that He made the full payment for your sin. chapter five verse one of Romans says that he justifies us, we’re justified by faith, and we therefore have peace with God as a result of trusting Him. And according to Romans 5 we receive the free gift in of eternal life.

Yes sir, that’s one of my favorite passages because I read that before. I got to 5’7 and I actually have read all of Romans and I’m still trying to inform myself and get closer to Christ and I want to do that. Well if you were to die, would you go to heaven? They are, you don’t know. Well, I have faith in Christ. Well, according… died for me on the cross. If you’ve done that, then according to the Bible, who’s whoever believed within him possesses or has everlasting life?

So according to the Bible, you have everlasting life as a result of trusting Christ. And if you have everlasting life, it’s everlasting and you’ll have it forever. So therefore you ought to conclude that you’re going to go to heaven. Well, I’m watching I’m going forward and my God myself I’m so fine at hard sure it is and you’re talking now about the Christian life Once you trust Christ you have Christ and I would recommend you read that passage in first John that we talked about earlier In especially chapter 5 verse 10 11 12 and 13 where it says you can actually know that you have eternal life and that if you have believed on Christ you have Christ and therefore you have life and if you have entrusted Christ you don’t have Christ and you don’t have life.
