And a third Sunday is always a good day to come by because we always have a dinner. And this third Sunday in December will be our Christmas celebration dinner. So you can come and celebrate Christmas with us as a church family and then stay and enjoy a wonderful Christmas dinner.

and that’ll be on the third Sunday in December. Make sure you make plans to come and join us if you can. Don’t forget we’re on the internet right now. You could go there. 146 countries have logged on from around the world and we have thousands of listeners to the Bible on program on the internet. And so you can go to it anytime day or night. And I hope that you’ll take advantage and do that. And also we want you to know that we’ll have classes again offered in January.

But in the meantime, you can get the previous classes. The past two are on CD and on DVD, so you can watch and hear the classes as though you were in the classroom. And you might want to call and ask about the 10 vital doctrines, that turned out to be a wonderful class. And also the class called meeting the challenge, ten hours of wonderful teaching on the Christian life and what God is looking for and how to meet that challenge and how to be successful at it.

And so why not call and get our resource sheet or go to our online book store and take a look and or call and ask. But we also have about forty different teachings on CD. Only recently now are we making them available on DVD. We have some great gospel tracks and we have some great tools to lead people to Christ. Over the holidays, this is a great time to be able to bring the gospel to people as people will be thinking about Christ, about Christmas.

This is the time to get yourself prepared to be able to share the gospel of Christ with a lost person. family members or friends that are coming over, people that you’re sending gifts to, you can include some of our tracks. Or some are including for special ones that they want to try to lead to Christ. Our CD on how permanent is your salvation, a very powerful witnessing tool and you’ll find it very, very effective. I want to read to you a imagined conversation in a Bible bookstore and it is about the different translations that are out there.

Are you ready? Here we go. Hello. May I help you? Yes, I’m looking for a Bible that I can use in my court and my church. Can you help me? Well, the sales person says I’d be happy to. I would like to recommend the NIV. It’s our most popular seller. Well, the customer says, do you know the story of the Ethiopian eunuch? And the salesman person says, yes, of course. He says, well, the only verse that tells us what we need to do before baptism is Acts 8.37.

It’s really important that my Bible states this clearly. Would you read it to me? Certainly the employee says he looks and looks and he says, uh, it’s not there. The customer says, what’s not there? The salesperson says, I’m sorry, but there is no verse 37. Well, the customer says we don’t want a Bible dispensing, something that is not important. Let’s try another Bible. The salesman says, we have another popular one, the revised standard version. Well, my Bible, the customer says, has to be clear about the virgin birth of Christ.

Would you please check Isaiah 714? The customer says, rather than salesperson says, hmm, it says a young woman shall conceive. The customer says, well, then forget the revised standard version. What other Bibles do you have? Well, we’re very proud of the new American standard version. It’s called the most literal version. Well, then the customer says, all right, look up, John 647. It’s the one place where Jesus tells us to believe in Him to have eternal life. The salesperson says, wait.

It only says, He who believes has eternal life. It doesn’t say who to believe in. My old occultist friends would love that. They believe, but not in Jesus Christ, so much for the new American Standard Version. The customer says, let’s try again. When I witness to Jehovah’s Witnesses, I like to use Revelation 111, where Jesus says, I am Alpha and Omega the first and the last. What do you have left? Well, the salesperson says, here’s our new living translation.

Let me see. It says, write down what you see. No Alpha and Omega here. Oh my goodness. All I have left, the customer says, or rather all I see left is an American standard. Would you look up 1 John 5 7? It tells us the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit are one God. The customer, the salesperson says to the customer, I’m very sorry when he looks it up. It says the spirit, the birth, the witness because the spirit is truth.

There is no Trinity there in the American standard. Well, the customer says that I guess just I’ll stay with my Bible. It has everything I mentioned to you, and I’m just going to stick with my King James. Anyway, you might find that interesting. I’ll send you a copy of that if you want to request it. But many of the new translations are terrible, like the New American Standard in John 647, one of my favorite witnessing verses where it says in the King James, Verily, Verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me has everlasting life.

It says that the New American Standard, He Who Believes, has everlasting life, it doesn’t tell you in whom you need to believe. That’s a terrible, terrible omission. And there are thousands of omissions in many of the modern translations. We have a book here in our Resource Center called New Age Bible Versions that covers about 20 of the newer translations and shows you examples of what they have done and is about almost 800 pages long and for a gift of $20 we can send that out to you.

It is extremely important to have a good Bible and today many of the newer translations are really very, very flawed and very weak. You might want to take a look at what the Bible has to say. I’m Dr. Englundstrom. This is Bible on our phone number. If you’d like to call in is 1-800-576-3771. 800-576-3771 and we invite you to give us a call and we’ll take your question or if you don’t want to be on the air you can leave it as an off-air question and we hope that you will do that.

And I hope that you will trust Christ as your Savior if you’re not a believer and that you would receive this wonderful gift of everlasting life. Well, in any case, we’re gonna go to Matthew chapter 19. We have a question here that has come in off here. We’ll go ahead and answer that from Clearwater. As Cynthia calls in and she says, explain Luke 10, 25 through 29, I’m going to go to the parallel passage in Matthew 19. And there you have the story of the rich young ruler who comes to Christ.

And he says in verse 16, good master what good things should I do that I may have eternal life. And first up, Jesus stops him in his tracks and says, why did you call me good? There is none good but one and that is God. This is the first thing that needs to be established when you’re talking to a lost person. And that is that everyone has sinned and everyone has come short of the glory of God. And that only God is good.

And in order to enter heaven, you have to be as good or as righteous as God himself. Well, he says unto them, why callest thou be good? There is none good but one that is God. But if thou will enter into life, keep the commandments. Now the Ten Commandments were given to point out the futility of trying to work our way to heaven because no one has ever been able to keep the Ten Commandments. Therefore, it says in Galatians that the Ten Commandments are a schoolmaster to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith in Christ.

And once we have placed our faith in Christ, then we are no longer under the schoolmaster, which is the law. Well, Jesus, of course, names of few of the commandments. Thou shalt not do no murder, thou shalt not commit adultery, thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not bear false witness, honor thy father and thy mother, and thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. What is interesting here is As the young man says, all these things have I kept from my youth up what lack I yet.

Well, he’s either lying or he’s truly self-deceived. He’s trying to tell us here that he has kept all of the commandments. Be honest now. It says here, honor thy father and thy mother. Can you tell me one child that without fail, under every circumstance, honor thy father and thy mother? I can’t think of one. is no one who’s done that. It also says here, love thy neighbor is thyself. When you go shopping and you say, boy, that is a nice coat.

I’m going to buy that for myself. And oh, my neighbor needs a coat like that. I love my neighbor as much as myself. I’m going to buy him a coat just like that as well. Doesn’t happen. The Bible tells us here the standard of the law is far beyond us and nobody has ever kept the law. So in a case, he is pointing out to this man He’s a sinner in need of Christ’s righteousness to inner heaven. Then He says in verse 21, if you will be perfect or mature, go and sell it while that which we have, and give to the poor, and that shall have treasure in heaven.

Come and follow Me. Christ is bringing up two things here. He is obviously assuming that the man, if he was to keep all the commandments would go to heaven, go to heaven, of course he didn’t and Christ knew that. But he’s then talking about the Christian life that if you want to go on after you’re saved, if you were able to keep all the things in the moment you would enter heaven. But then if you wanted to be perfect and have treasure in heaven, you should sell what you have and give it to the poor.

But the key is in the end of verse 21 where Christ says, and there are two things going on here. Come, and that’s all you have to do to be saved. Christ says in Matthew 11, 28, coming to me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I’ll give you rest. So salvation is a gift. All you do is come to Christ and He’ll save you. Christ says in John 6, 37, Him that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out.

So when you simply come to Christ, He gives you everlasting life, you’ll never be cast out under any circumstance. But then Christ also says in Matthew 19, 21, follow me. That has to do with the Christian life, and following Christ will result in treasures in heaven. And when you go down further in the text here, you’ll find that Christ tells us in verse 28 that those which have been born again, those that have followed me in the regeneration shall inherit eternal life.

So that’s a gift. We simply come to Christ and receive everlasting life as a gift. But then it says, if you have forsaken things, it goes on to say every one of you that forsaken houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands. For my name’s sake, shall receive a hundred fold. That’s rewards. You’ll get 100 times back what you invested when you serve the Lord. That is a 10,000% return on your investment.

I don’t think you can beat that anywhere. I don’t know anywhere you can get that kind of return. But Christ says if you will give and serve and forsake that you will get a 100 fold return in heaven. But if you’re born again, then you’ll enter Heaven. Then of course the young man, when he heard these things, he went away sorrowful because he had great possessions. And Jesus said to the disciples, “‘Verily I say unto you that a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.”

And again I say unto you, it’s easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God. And what he’s saying here is that because rich men trust in their riches, They have difficulty trusting in God and when the disciples heard it they got confused They were exceedingly amazed in verse 25 and they said who then can be saved? Who can be saved and here? This is the wonderful answer in verse 26 when Jesus beheld them and Said unto them he said with men.

This is what? Impossible with men. This is impossible. It’s not possible But with God, all things are possible. Christ is saying nobody can be saved by keeping the Ten Commandments. It is not possible with men to be saved in this manner. And then he goes on to explain in verse 27 and 28 that if you are born again, you have been regenerated, you will, in the last phrase of verse 29, inherit. It’s a gift, eternal life. But if you forsake things and give up things and give to the Lord, then you’ll have treasure in heaven and you’ll receive a hundredfold return.

So hopefully Cynthia, that answers the question. Christ is simply saying, come to me and you’ll be saved. And then he says, follow me and you’ll have treasures in heaven. So there he splits up and divides the difference between salvation which is God’s gift and is received by simply coming to Christ and trusting what he did for you on the cross. And then the Christian life which is living for Christ, serving Christ which will bring about treasures in heaven. We’re going to go to John now in Orange City, Florida and John, welcome to my one year on the earth.

Well thank you. Listen, I wanted to just bring up something here. One day Jesus was having a conversation with the Pharisees and the Sadducees. And the Sadducees who believe there is no resurrection, remember they asked him a question and they give him a little hypothetical case there about the seven brothers. And this first brother married this woman and then the brother died. So the second brother married her and then he died and the third brother and so on right through the seventh brother.

And they all died and then they asked him a question. And they said, now whose wife? Whose wife is she going to be up in heaven? And Jesus said, of course, you greatly air because you don’t really understand this thing. That He said, in heaven, they’re going to marry or be given in marriage, but they will be as the angels in heaven. Now the point I wanted to bring up, maybe you can elaborate and maybe you know something hear more about it, is there going to be females and males up in heaven?

We know why females and males were created down here on Earth according to Genesis chapter one and chapter two to replenish the Earth. So many people think that there’s going to be, a lot of people think there isn’t going to be males and females. But does the Bible say what’s your opinion on that? Alright, I think it’s simply a thing here that we’re not going to get married or we’re not going to have children, not going to procreate in heaven.

Like angels don’t have children either. That’s why those who try to say in Genesis 6 that the sons of God are angels which they are not, married the daughters of men and they had children that is not true. Angels don’t marry. Secondly, God said in Hebrews 1-5 that he never called an angel his son. So that’s the end of that story. But we’ll simply be a celibate in heaven. And I don’t think that if you were a female here, I think you’ll be a female in heaven and I’ll be a male in heaven, but it will be no distinction as far as our access to the Lord or our position before the Lord.

It says there’s neither male to female, bond or free Jew or Gentile when we’re in heaven, we’re all going to be equal in that sense. But I think that there will be the sexes, but I don’t think there’s going to be any type of marriage or giving in marriage or having of children at all. So we’re all going to be brothers and sisters in one big, happy family. And I think that’s really what it’s saying here in this passage.

Well it seems like, of course you don’t, a lot of people say, well, I was married, my husband died and my wife died and I got married again and everything. So we get up there and gee, it’s going to be kind of rough, you know? Well, obviously, you know, a lot of things will be erased from our memories so that we will remember each other in relationships, but we will not have the same relationship in heaven. And so if you’re married here in heaven, you’ll not be married to that woman, but I think you’ll remember that you were, but will not have any sex or children or marriage in heaven.

The man’s name is Michael. We don’t hear of any women angels. There’s just a lot of theory, a lot of thoughts. But that’s appreciate your information. Again, all angels are male. There are no female angels. There are no baby angels. And angels don’t have wings. We have so many misconceptions about angels. And as we enter this month of December and Christmas coming up, we will obviously be inundated with angelic beings, which are not angels because they’re always female. I haven’t seen yet.

I know one husband when he heard me teach about this on the radio said he while his wife was shopping in the mall he went on a little investigative tour and looked in all the shops and asked all the store managers if they had any male angels for sale. He said he could not find one in the entire mall and he came back with that interesting bit of research. You don’t find any male angels yet in the Bible every one of them are male there are no female angels.

We’re going to Edgar in Petersburg, Virginia and Edgar, welcome to Bibleline Year on the Year. Great and Freedom. Matthew 23 speaks about not calling men fathers, masters and rabbis. And my question today is I’ve heard you, erstwhile, say that we’re not supposed to call pastors, reveres and stuff. and i looked into my concordance and tried to you know find that the arm coinciders of uh… that word uh… west as master or father with the word on reverend and i couldn’t find it so can you will lose the day don’t lose the day don’t that explain to me why we sit and call men reverends and stuff like that all right well thank you address good question and the answer is because god is the only one who is absolutely holy only the only one who is to be reverent or to be worshipped.

So men are not to be worshipped, and so therefore we are not to be reverent because we’re all sinners. You read through the book of Acts, you’ll find that when Peter came to the house of Cornelius, Cornelius fell down and wanted to worship him. And Peter said, stand up, I’m a man just like you. And so he refused worship. And unfortunately, that is a term only applied to God. There There is never a reference in the Bible where the Bible references a man as being reverent or to be reverent.

So it is something exclusively deserving of God. And I think we trade into a territory where we don’t belong when we try to take titles upon ourselves that only belong to God. And he is the only one who is to be reverent. He’s the only one who is reverent. Thank you Edgar, calling in from Petersburg, Virginia. Joseph in Safety Harbor, Florida calls in and says, do you believe this current spread of Islamic extremism is leading us into World War III or not?

And I say, yes it is. We are in the end times and we’re seeing now the players coming up on the world playing field that we’ll bring about in the Middle East, this battle that will be worldwide, that will destroy a third of the world’s population and it will be the worst war that will have ever taken place. And according to the Bible it will be nuclear and it will be over in one hour and one third of the world’s population will be wiped out.

That’s a considerable number. If the world’s population is 6 billion that means a minimum of 2 billion people will die. You know we were shaken when 3,000 people were killed in the Twin Towers. can you imagine if two billion are killed at one time? And the book of Revelation tells us that people wept and they cried as they looked at the destruction of Armageddon when it occurs on this earth. It’ll be awful. It’ll be horrific. And Netanyahu last week in an interview said that we’re three to five years from Armageddon.

The nuclear bomb is getting out of hand. The Arabic extremists want to get that bomb once they do look out the world is going to be a different place and I believe we’re getting close to the return of Jesus Christ. We have lots of callers still calling in but we’re coming up on our break time so you might have to wait over the break I’ll try to get Tony in for a real quick question he’s calling from Richmond, Virginia.

Tony welcome to Bibleline. How are you Dr. Hayley? Good. You feeling a little bit better than last week? Every little bit every day. Very well. I have a comment to make any questions. My comment would be, I’ve been listening to the radio show for a while now and it seems to be geared mostly towards the choice of salvation versus the choice of following Jesus. And I’ve been in conversation this past weekend over Thanksgiving with a Russian Baptist and I was trying to give her a scripture in verse about how we’re not saved by our works.

It was just very hard for her to accept that. And it seems to be that there’s a lot of people just listening to the show and people that are not anywhere on that when we talk about the Lord that it seems so hard for them to grasp that there’s nothing that they do to keep salvation is free. Well, you know, Satan puts a works curtain over the eyes of the lost and they believe they have to work or earn their way to heaven.

I’ll have to continue this with you after the break because we’re coming up on our break, but you’re absolutely right and Satan wants to blind you and keep you from faith alone in Christ. Don’t go away. Bibleline will be back in a moment. To pledge your support for Bibleline, give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Alright, I’m Dr. Englinser. It’s great to be with you today and it’s wonderful to be able to have a conversation with you. You can call in and ask your questions and we can answer them and have a great time learning the Word of God together.

And Bible Anne does focus on salvation because I believe a lot of people who attend church are not saved. They’re trusting in their church or they’re trusting in their works, their baptism, their confirmation, penance or mass, or other things to save them rather than faith in Jesus Christ as Savior. And that’s scary. I was raised in church for 18 years and never heard how to have eternal life. And that is scary because, wow, what if I had never heard?

What if I had never heard about the gift of salvation? I never heard it in my church. And I’m afraid that many Many people can be in church and feel comfortable. And like somebody once said, Satan provides a heavenly way for people to go to hell. And so we’re praying that we could reach many people and we have. We’ve reached pastors who’ve gotten saved through hearing this program, isn’t that wonderful? And many lay people and people that are now sharing the gospel with their family, friends and church members.

And that is obviously great news. Let me encourage you, if you would, to pray for Bibleline and then as you enter into the month of December, would you consider giving a Christmas gift to Bibleline. We would like to clear up all of our outstanding bills and enter the year 2007 with everything paid off. And you could help if you would only send a gift to Bibleline. By the way, you could do that by mail or you can send it by credit card over the phone if If you’ll only call our 800 number, our operators can make sure that you know how to be able to give a gift.

We can send you an envelope with the address printed on it and or you can give it by credit card over the phone and you can also on our online bookstore find a place there where you can give to Bibleline. We’re leaving for Israel in March if you want to go on March 12th of Monday we’ll leave. We need to get you to start getting serious and send in your $100 deposit. And we’ll come back on March 23rd of Friday.

12 days in Israel, we’re going to go and baptize people in the Jordan River. We’ll observe the Lord’s Supper right by the hill of Calvary next to the tomb of Christ. We’re going to have an exciting time teaching the Bible. It’ll be trip number 14 for me. Love to have you go with me. And if you want information, call. We’ll be glad to talk to you about the Israel trip. Again, we’re going to return to the stations that have been on break and join those stations and do Bibleline Part 2, so keep your radio dial tuned right where it is.

Would you like to help Bibleline continue in your area? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. All right, we’re back from that break. This is Bob Lin, I’m Dr. Anglinscherman. Thanks for joining us today, and we want to thank all of you who listen and those of you who pray for and give to the Bible and without your help we could not be on the air. Would you consider giving a Christmas gift?

To Bibleline in this month of December, as we would like to make sure everything is paid off for the year 2006 as we enter 2007. And you could be a great help if you would consider giving a special gift to Bibleline during the month of December. In any case, we are totally dependent upon our listeners. We don’t have any other source of money. and we count on our listeners to be able to pay all the bills. And this is where your partnership is very real with Bible and we don’t have a reserve account.

We don’t have a piggy bank. We don’t have subscribers. We don’t have pleasures. We just simply have God. And we trust Him to raise up people like you who enjoy the program and would like to see it continue in your area and to expand and reach out to the world that needs to hear about the gospel gospel of Jesus Christ. So we’re living in exciting times Christ’s return has got to be soon. This is not a time to kind of ride the fence.

It’s a time to make a decision. Are you going to stand up and serve the Lord or not? You know Joshua said, as for me in my house, we will serve the Lord. He made a statement that was a powerful statement that still rings out today loud and clear. As far as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Have you made a decision like that? And are you deciding to stand up for Jesus and make your life count?

And I believe by helping Bible on you definitely will be reaching out in a mighty way to a world that needs to hear about Christ. And our program is rather unique focusing on Bible answers and also on reaching the lost with the gospel. And we’ve seen so many come to know Christ. Even pastors have gotten saved. I had one thank me about a month ago. And so it’s exciting to see pastors getting saved. That’s right. Preachers not always are saved.

And it’s wonderful to see them get saved. They should get saved. And so pray for us as we try to reach out. We We still have Tony here holding faithfully from Richmond, Virginia and Tony we’re getting back to you and let’s continue our conversation. Very well. We are speaking about salvation. She brought up the word repentance. Alex claims her about what repentance meant in the Greek, the change of mind, not the change of action. Of course, the Bible does speak of repentance in formal change of action, but I believe that that’s where you are the natural why you are here to make your situation better.

You need to change from that action. It’s a personal, once you accept Christ that He died for you, for me, that’s what changed my life into wanting to follow after Christ because I have been only not walking in line with the Word. And now I see that walking in line with Christ is way better than not. And I think that I heard a lady, you were telling us a little bit about a lady that was smoking in your church and she was feeling bad about it.

And once you sat down and talked to her, I think she used to come up to your week or so later and she equipped smoking. Once these people grasped the love of Christ that he did that for them in their sin, that is what’s changing them. And I think that a lot of times people get hung up on somebody else’s life because they can’t feel. They’re doing these people are doing this. That’s on God Lake. Nothing?

just to that. And they get hung up on that and it talks to them and they realize that wow Christ God put them too just like he died for all. We were the same way before we were saved. You know when people get hung up on somebody else’s race, you know and the Bible says not to do that and you focus on your own race. And I just think it’s very important in the world that we live in nowadays to study the word, to read the word, to speak the word and to hear the word you know we show ourselves approved because of a lot of uh…

spiritual activity negatively going on in the world that was my comment and they have been leo ron Well you’re right on Tony and you know the devil wants to blind people and he does that by getting them to think that they can somehow in their own good deeds earn salvation or become righteous enough to enter heaven. But they don’t realize that we’ve all come short of the righteousness of God and only God’s righteousness would make us eligible for heaven.

And that is given as a gift to those who believe Romans 4 and 5 says to him that does not work, believeth on Christ who justifies the ungodly, his faith in Christ is counted for righteousness. Yes. And I wanted to just say in part of that personal choice salvation wasn’t lying for me to walk as well. I figured that God should keep it all up for me. What could not try to live for him here? Amen. And that’s the foundation.

Generally that’s what generally happens if you genuinely get saved and you just think about it a little bit. You realize, wow, I owe everything to God because He died for me. And that’s why I chose to serve Him as well because I realized, wow, if He would give his life for me the least I could do is tell people about him. That’s right on ain’t there brother. The question I have is this, it may be very simple I may be reading it wrong but I believe it’s Matthew 24 chapter 24 I think it’s around 29 or 31 the verse for Jesus said immediately after tribulation of those days the sun will be dark and then he goes on to explain back to the second coming yeah My question was why is it that there’s this thought that the us being caught up, the believers who are dead in

Christ, and those who are remain caught up in the East Lord and the air, why do they believe that’s going to happen before tribulation when Jesus said after tribulation? I’m just going to hang up and listen. Sure, good question. If you read the context there, what’s happening here is not the rapture at all. People read that verse and it speaks about after the tribulation. and then they read verse 40, where it says, two will be in the field, the one will be taken and the other left, two women will be grinding at the mill, the one will be taken and the other left.

But this is not the rapture. The ones taken here are taken in judgment by Christ and killed, and the ones that are left are left to live into the thousand year reign of Christ. If you read the context, notice Jesus says in verse 37, as the days of Noah were, social to coming in the Son of man be. And it says here, as it was in the days of Noah before the flood, they were eating and drinking and marrying and so on.

And verse 39 says, new not until the flood came and then took them all away. Now the flood took what group away? It took the unbelievers away. They drowned. They all died. And the ones that were in the ark were left to repopulate the earth. So I’ve taken the word took in verse 39 and circled it. And then I’ve taken the word taken in verse 40 and in 41 and circled those and I’ve drawn a line between them. In other words, the ones that are in the field, the one is taken, that’s taken in the same way the flood took the lost in the days of Noah.

And the one that’s left is left to live into the millennium. And the two women grinding at the mill, the one that’s taken, is taken in judgment as the flood took the unbelievers in the days of Noah. the one that’s left behind is left to live into the thousand year end of Christ. This is not the Rapture and this is again what we call rightly divided into word of truth. The event is after the Tribulation but the event is not the Rapture.

The event is the opposite of that of the Rapture. At the Rapture the believers are taken and caught up to be with the Lord and the unsaved are left behind. But at the Second Coming the unbelievers are taken in judgment and killed and the ones left behind are the believers who live into the millennial reign of Christ. And Tony from Richmond, Virginia, thank you for calling. We have John in North Port, Florida and John welcome to Bibleline Year on the Year.

Good morning, Dr. Hank. I’ve been watching your TV program for quite a long time and I’ve been listening to your radio program recently and I want you to know I appreciate your work. Thank you. i have a request first of all i have a son who’s about going to be twenty years old and he’s gotten into them the muslim religions become a muslim of course the first thing they taught him is to despise the jews into the despises christians and and you were right when you hit on your show earlier today that about all the different translations and of course that’s what they showed him first off is uh…

our bible is you know it doesn’t correlate with In other words, we don’t all believe in the same thing and of course the Trinity, they don’t believe in. It’s really a hurtful thing for me to see my son go down this road and it’s causing even problems in our family. I’d like to request prayer for my son Ron and also to let you know that I know you’re right because I’m living in it right now, seeing how when we don’t stick to God’s Word stick to the truth, God’s word, how things come into your family and pull it completely apart.

Amen, sure can. We have a little six dollar booklet on Islam that really gives you some insightful ways to find the cracks in the armor of Islam and the witness of those people. And you might want to get that it’s an inexpensive tool, but it’s really good. It’s about 60, 70 pages long. can be used effectively but obviously Allah is no God at all. Allah is the moon God. And these people are praying to the moon. And you see the prayer of minarets.

You see the little crescent moon at the top. That’s because they’re praying upward through the prayer of minarets to the moon God. And that’s what they worship and I tried to point that out to him. But it seems like, you know, he just keeps saying, well, you worship free gods and we worship a religion that was started by Constantine, which we both know is not true. But it’s hard to get anything across. No, I know. They’re very, very hateful toward Christianity and very blinded.

And so just keep chipping away. There’s obviously they, you know, the Quran teaches that they should believe the Bible, but they, the excuses, they say the Bible’s been corrupted. That’s what they’re doing to him now showing it that these new translations obviously are in the favor of Islam to show that we are, our Bible’s getting all messed up today. Exactly. And so they say the Quran is pure, but it isn’t. And this booklet we have will show how there’s contradictions all throughout the Corps and when you can expose some of those contradictions to him I think he’ll realize that the Corps is messed up too.

Okay, well thank you very much sir. All right, that was John in Northport and yeah I’ll tell you we are being assaulted today head on with Islam. And if you look up Daniel 911 you know the number 911 that’s when the twin towers were taken. Well, there’s a verse there that talks about a curse coming because of our departure from God’s Word. And if you look up the word curse in your concordance in Daniel 9-11, it is the Hebrew word Allah.

And truly, hasn’t that have been a prophecy fulfilled? That Allah is the curse on this world today. And God said He would bring this curse upon the world and we are seeing the curse of Allah right now and it’s because we’ve departed away from his We have Ryan in St. Petersburg and Ryan welcome to Bibleline your own ear. Hey Hank, I have a question. I was talking to my friend the other day and he said to me that Jesus said that John the Baptist is Elijah.

I’m sorry that actually that and he took me to Matthew 11. 7 to 15 and and it’s what it’s saying saying there is if they had received the kingdom, if they’d received Christ as Savior and as King at that time, then he would have been the fulfillment of the prophecies about Elijah and he would have been Elijah, but because they rejected it, obviously Elijah is still yet to come. And when John the Baptist was asked, are you Elijah? He said no.

Very plainly inValid in chapter 1 and other places, he said no, I’m not Elijah. But Christ is really saying had the Jewish people accepted Christ as their king and the kingdom been established at that time, he would have been the fulfillment because Elijah had to come back before the kingdom would have been established. And so he is saying that he was the forerunner, just like Elijah will before be the forerunner of Christ before the second coming, preaching during the tribulation period.

He’ll come back as one of the two prophets in Revelation 11 and preach for three and a half years preparing the way for Christ’s second coming, that John the Baptist was the one who prepared the way for Christ in his first coming. Had he been received, He would have been the fulfillment of the prophecies and he would have been Elijah. Alright, you’re so welcome Ryan. That was Ryan in St. Petersburg, but John the Baptist was clearly not Elijah. Elijah is still coming.

The last two verses of Malachi tell us that Elijah will come before the great and gentle day of the Lord, so he’s still on his way. We have now Ken in Decatur, Illinois, calling in and Ken, welcome to the Bible. Yes, sir. on the radio broadcast did you intend to uh… no sir feel by all right well i’m on here let me just tell you sir all right I watch you on TV and it’s a wonderful program. I’ve been blessed.

I’ve learned and I’m growing and I love that I love your television program. I don’t get your radio program up here in Illinois that I know I love. I’m okay. But anyway, God bless you. Keep up the good work and I’m trying to I’m trying to get through to your store and get and get all right we’ll put you back to my operator and we’ll get you transferred but uh… do you have internet access Do you have the internet?

Yes, I do. I just got it hooked up to high speed internet yesterday. They’re excellent And then you’re gonna be able to get to my radio program. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. I finally got the high speed Well, you couldn’t hardly do it for you now. All right. Thank you. Can okay. God bless you God bless you that was Ken up in Illinois Calling in now getting his high speed so he can catch my blind and I’ll be the first thing he said he would look up on on the internet.

That’s exciting. All right. And hopefully our operators will talk to Ken now and get him all squared away. All right. We’re now going to go to Charles and Charles is in Cherokee, Texas. Charles, welcome to Bible Ed. Can you hear me okay? I do. I want to ask you a question just about that old school skill for a school for a reference by all and your donation how this works uh… the for a dollar gift is that does that paper the bible that was ordered it pays for the bible and and we make a couple dollars on that toward bible and so helps by the line a little bit but our major objectives to get uh…

that bible in your hands because you will have the tools and for good solid bible teaching the rest of your life Anyway, I just wanted to call and let you know, since I got to the end of the talk, we do appreciate your faithfulness to teach the scriptures away, it’s supposed to be taught. Well, thank you so very much. Where is Cherokee, Texas?

If you draw a circle around the whole state of Texas and put a knot in it, it’s just about to be just about the middle, if you look at the shape of the state of Texas, where it’s shaped, just stick a knot. And so if I were, they don’t want to I can after I get through this Christmas, just want to know if I’m $50, does that paper the Bible say ever do I have to send more above that to cover the day?

Well, you ought to talk to our operators, but if you get the $50 Bible, it’s going to cost you about $5 of shipping to get the Bible sent to you. Yes, sir. So you need to send a little bit extra for shipping. So about fifty-five dollars. Yeah, that’s exactly right. That’s the leather Bible I do have one question ask you right quick while I let you go this Go ahead lonians for the rapture comes of this structure theory deal.

Yeah, I’ve had one act like they don’t believe mad or something I can’t you know do away with and I’m Accronted first thing poor Paul was talking there fast loans. It says to be caught up to meet the Lord in there That’s pretty clear isn’t it? But I mean is that but the word rapture doesn’t actually really occur occur and I’m glad it doesn’t because Most people don’t know what the word rapture means it means caught up. So if you go to your dictionary and have to look it up It’s easier just to read you’ll be caught up to meet the Lord in the air.

That’s the rapture So it’s clear that we’ll be raptured out and I’m glad the English word isn’t there because And you know, there’s a lot of doctrines. We believe where the For example the Trinity we believe in the Trinity, but the word Trinity doesn’t occur in your Bible at all No. Yep, because you have Father, Son, Holy Spirit, and that’s in the Great Commission in Matthew 3. Absolutely. And so, you know, Father, Son, Holy Spirit, you know, baptism. So don’t anybody use that argument on you.

It’s clearly we’re going to be caught up to meet the Lord in the air. But one place back in the didn’t agree to use the word rapture or whatever. But I just won’t accept it, but just why the script is raised. if i don’t understand that we’re going to you know custom what it says and not try to and then to take away from it or change the meaning of it and well you know i guess what god would want me to do it is just accept what he says any more exactly you know now in the latin translation uh…

they use the uh… latin word rapturo which is the word we get theworthy rapture from uh… but that’s in the latin translation so uh… i mean these people just don’t know what they’re talking about when they say you could very easily put the English word rapture in place of caught up, but I prefer that it says caught up. That’s pretty easy to understand. So that really doesn’t occur, don’t let it bother you. What are you talking about, Dan? That’s right.

Put in the equivalent of you on just right rapture in the margin. That’s what it means. The word rapture, looking up in your dictionary, means to be caught up. Yes sir. Anyway, I just want to thank you for, you know, teaching food. I believe in the Baptist religion or anything like that. I just want to accept the scripture and the way God wants to play and talk. Amen. You know, we talked about Jesus. It was talked about false prophets, teachers, and like the Charismatic Movement.

I think 1 Corinthians 13a it says tongues it’s just sees amen and I think times means language you know if I talk to a German I can all I speak is English there you go so I couldn’t come I couldn’t what you call it you couldn’t speak to you know that’s right they may not say my mind he or she or whatever it is you know I know you got other call I just wanted to thank you for teaching the truth you welcome the Bible and I saw you one day where you’re sitting in a chair with some kind of microphone.

Yes sir. One of your just all the one I’ve seen do you have to see your son some more. Do you have to actually be there at that time? No, you can go back up on the you can go back in archives and catch all those worship services as well. At a different time for any time you want 24 hours a day on the internet you can. Yes sir. I appreciate you there and I am Considering you know about one kind of you’ll get that old school feel Reverend’s Bible.

All right. Well, I think you’ll really enjoy it Is that the hard dive tab or that’s a leather one the $15 one is a leather one And I’m the hardback is $20 Okay, is that Lord Prince? No, there is a large print it costs a little bit more But you can call in our 800 number and I’ll be glad to tell you about it. Okay, sir. Well, thanks a lot for talking Thank you Charles Charles out in Cherokee, Texas and said it’s somewhere right about in the middle of Texas.

By the way we do webcast our morning worship service on Sunday and some have said they just cannot find a place to worship where the Word of God has taught and until you find such a place you can join our Sunday morning messages right there on the internet and you can go go back and review them and watch them at later times. I hope you’ll take advantage of that. You’re welcome to join us on Sundays and I hope you’ll enjoy the Sunday morning messages as they come forth from here at Calvary Community Church when I bring the message.

We have a pastor from Richmond, Virginia. Howard is on the line and welcome to Bibleline pastor Howard I’m calling from Richmond, Virginia. Yes sir. And I just wanted to again reiterate with some of the other things to say your ministry God has truly blessed you over the years with your ministry and I listen as a young man prior to being ordained in the position that I’m ordained in as a pastor. I wanted to make a statement and then behind the statement.

But the statement I wanted to make is that the Bible does say that he’s coming for one church. He’s coming for one body. He’s not coming for the different denominations and the different sets or the different divisions that the enemy has put before us. He’s coming for one church, whether that be Black, White, Asian or Hispanic. He’s coming for one body of Christ. That’s right. And I needed everyone to be mindful of that. And then the thing that the question that I want to inquire of you is that how do you proceed to trick the believers out and to get God is to gain materialism and to gain wealth in the earth because I even listen to scriptures that he’s put a thousand cow rope on a heel for your sake and the Bible doesn’t say that and it says we’re the hand and not to tail for the purpose of leaving the congregation

into materialism and i know that it is a trip of the enemy dividing conquer to keep us on understanding that the purpose for us being is not the material game because anything you spoke on in the first half of your your broadcast with that the young man received that he had to give up the riches that he had in order to get the kingdom of heaven that christ was speaking about and he walked away from that’s right It’s really all about wrongly dividing the word of God.

It’s taking the promises for Israel, which were earthly. God has promised Israel a rich land and wealth. And that they would be the head nation, not the tail nation. All of those are quotes of promises to Israel, which at the second coming of Christ will be fulfilled. But the church, its promises are in heaven and our treasures are heavenly treasures and Christ says, late for yourselves, treasures in heaven. So here on the earth, the Christian is not to expect earthly treasures.

God might bless you with material riches here, but really our riches are in heaven. It says in Ephesians. is one three that we’ve been blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. And I’m having to run Pastor Howard, but we’ll pray for you and God bless you. And we are going to have to end the Bible and program today. Time is running out. I do hope you’ll plan to go to Israel with me March 12th. We’ll leave on a Monday to make on a Friday the 23rd 12 days.
