In this teaching series, all these topics, plus many exciting prophecies and more, will be explored.
We hope that you will make plans to join us and follow along in your Bible during this verse by verse study of the book of Daniel. And please tell your friends and family about Bibleline. Now if you can, please open your Bible to the book of Daniel, chapter 7, and join us for Dr. Lindstrom’s teaching for today. We’re going to go over to the little book of Micah. Are you ready? Micah. And it’s over to your right, somewhere between Matthew and Daniel. So let’s see if we can find it here. It’s going to be Jonah and then Micah. And it’ll be on page 948 where we’re going to Re-looking, page 948, are you ready for watching things happen?
You might have heard that Putin, the head of Russia, has said that he will supply Iran with whatever they need to make apparently the bomb. It’s incredible. This really is in line with Bible prophecy, because Russia becomes a major player in the and the Bible tells us what countries would be aligned with Russia. We’re not going to cover that tonight, but I ran as one of them. And look at that, how there’s going to be this connection. Well, let’s go to Micah chapter 4 verse 1.
In the last days, if you’re marking your Bible, page 948, in the last days it shall come to pass that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains. It shall be exalted above the hills and people shall flow unto it.” This is talking now about the beginning of the millennium at the end of the tribulation period. And the mountain of the house of the Lord is Jerusalem, in case you didn’t know.
And the house of the Lord is the temple in Jerusalem, which is not there right now, but there will be a third temple rebuilt, and we believe immediately following the rapture. and already the stones have been cut, the plans have been laid, and it just is waiting for the political climate to allow the rebuilding of the Third Temple, and then sacrifices will be offered again and will be underway in the tribulation period. Christ will come back and cleanse that temple that will have been defiled by the antichrist in the tribulation period, and then he’ll establish his throne in the temple in Jerusalem.
Those two, as many nations shall come and shall say, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, that’s Jerusalem, to the house of the God of Jacob, that’s the temple, and he will teach us of his ways. And we’ll walk in his paths for the law shall go forth out of Zion. That’s Jerusalem and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. So Christ will establish his rule over the earth from Jerusalem. It’ll be the world’s capital and Christ will rule the world from Jerusalem.
And when he speaks his word will go forth from Jerusalem to the world. Verse three, he’s going to judge among many people, rebuke strong nations are far off. They’ll beat their swords into plow shares and their spears into pruning hooks. nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.” So that’s what will happen during the thousand year end of Christ. Peace on earth, good will toward men, and no more will men learn to do war.
Right now we have military schools around the world, don’t we? Al Qaeda has their training camps and others have their war schools. And in this country we have Annapolis, the Naval Academy. We have West Point, the Army School. We have the Air Force Academy out in Colorado Springs, Colorado. And we have the Coast Guard Academy. And all these are schools that teach men how to go to war. Those schools won’t exist in the millennium because they won’t be learning war anymore.
There will be no schools to teach men how to go to war. What a wonderful day that That will be. Every man will be at peace. Every man, verse 4, will sit under his vine, under his fig tree, and none shall make them afraid. No threat of war, no war on the earth. What a wonderful day. He’ll just sit under your vine and pluck grapes and sit back and enjoy. I’ll reach up and have a few figs off the tree and just have a real peaceful life.
And it says here, all people shall walk everyone in the name of his God, and we will walk in the name of the Lord our God forever and ever. Then it says in verse 6 that God is going to bring Israel back into their land and will allow them to be the head nation on the earth. In that day, and whenever you see that phrase that day, it’s referring to the day of the Lord which is a thousand year day, the thousand year millennial kingdom.
And so you’ll see the phrase that day, that day, that day, that day, that day. And whenever you see that day, it’s the day of the Lord so you make that connection. So it says in that day say, the Lord will I assemble her that halted that’s Israel. I will gather her that is driven out that’s Israel and her that I have afflicted that is Israel. So God is going to gather them and restore them in their land. I will make her that halted a remnant and her that was cast far off a strong nation.
So Israel will become a strong nation during the millennium. The Lord shall reign over them in Jerusalem, in Mount Zion, from henceforth even forever. So the Lord will rule over Jerusalem and over Israel in Jerusalem. And then it says here, O thou, O tower of the flock, the stronghold of the daughter of Zion, under thee shall it come even the first dominion. The kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem. And what it’s saying here is that the descendants of Israel will be in Jerusalem in the last days.
It will be the ones where this kingdom will be established. And the first area of Christ’s control and the dominion of His kingdom will be in Mount Zion or Jerusalem. I want to jump down to verse 11 because it says here, now also many nations are gathered against the. speaks about the neighbors of Israel and I believe in particular 22 Islamic countries that hate Israel and would love to see Israel destroyed. Look at what it says about them. It says now also many nations are gathered against the that say here’s what they say and it’s what they’re saying right now.
Let her be defiled. Let Israel be destroyed. Let our eye be upon Zion. We want Jerusalem as are capital, isn’t that what we’re seeing? That’s what the desire of the Muslim people is. They want to see Israel destroyed, they want to see Jerusalem as their capital. Here the Bible is saying these things well, 2700 years ago. So is the Bible to Mars headlines today? Absolutely. We’re reading what Micah said 27 years ago, but it’s the headlines today. This is exactly what has happened in the air fat, what is happening under the Islamic countries.
But look at verse 12. They don’t know the Bible. Look at what it says. They know not the thoughts of the Lord. Neither understand they, His, They’re not paying attention to the Bible. They don’t have a clue what God thinks about this whole thing because they don’t read the Bible. They read the Quran. And so it says here, neither understand they God’s counsel. And then it says, for he will gather them as the sheaves into the floor. talks about harvest time and judgment time.
And God is gonna judge the neighbors of Israel. Verse 13, God tells Israel, a rise and thresh, O daughter of Zion, for I’ll make your horn iron, and I’ll make thy hooves brass, and thou shalt beat in pieces what? Many people, and I will consecrate their wealth, their gain unto the Lord, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth. So guess what? All the oil. In all of the Middle East will belong to who? Israel. Israel will own all their wealth as God will judge all these nations that reject the Lord.
So we find that he will destroy them all because they’re unbelievers. Christ will destroy not just them, but every unbeliever on the earth at the Second Coming. And so all of these will be destroyed. And therefore all of their wealth and all of their land will become Israel’s. Thank you for joining us. We hope that you’re enjoying today’s teaching on the book of Daniel. Let’s go down to Puta Gorda, Florida, and we’re going to talk to Dee. And Dee, welcome to my one. You’re on the air. Thank you for taking my call. My question is on suicide. There’s a lot of children out there who are committing suicide and I believe some of them are saved.
They still go to happen, don’t they? I mean, I realize that’s an awful sin, but could you explain that so that I can help other children understand? Absolutely. John 637, it says, him that come with me, and that is when you come and trust Christ as your Savior, you become saved. When would come unto me I will in no wise cast out and it doesn’t say except for suicide. The Roman Catholic Church taught and still teaches that suicide is unpardonable sin.
They got that because Judas committed suicide after he betrayed Christ and went to hell. And so they wrongly assumed that he went to hell because he committed suicide. Well Judas didn’t go to hell because he committed suicide. Judas went to hell because he never was a believer. trusted Christ. John 664 says that Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not and who should betray him. And so Jesus knew that Judas, and he was talking about Judas there, was an unbeliever, had not trusted him.
And John 13, it again tells us that Judas was not a believer. And so Judas wanted to help because of that. Now, certainly no one is told or should take their life. God wouldn’t want you to do that. But if you did, once you’re saved, he will not lose you, John 639, and he’ll not cast you out for any reason, even suicide. So if a person commits suicide and they’re saved, they would still be saved and still go to heaven.
That’s wonderful. And that’s what I believe too. It’s just something I wanted to verify with someone that was very studied. Well, thank you so much. And you know, we have a CD here that is so helpful to folks that It just gives them such assurance that their salvation is a CD called How Permanent is Your Salvation. And we have thousands of those who go out of here and we hear such great reports of people who listen to that CD and they get their salvation really straight and solid.
They are able to listen to it as many times as they want and look up the scriptures and mark them in their Bible and see for themselves that this is what God says, not what I say, but this is what the Bible teaches. That would be wonderful. That would be a wonderful tool for all who are talking to others about salvation. If you just call back right after the program, I’ll send you one free of charge. Just tell them that I said you get one free of charge.
How permanent is your salvation? We’ll send it right out to you. Okay, D. God bless. Bye-bye. That was D down in Punta Gorda, Florida. We have Tony in Richmond and Tony. Welcome to Bibleline. You’re on the air. Dr. Lisham, I just wanted to say I got a school filled Bible and you’re so right. At one point I had a new living translation and a Thompson chain reference Bible that announced it on the shelf of the school filled scholarship period.
My question is when Jesus said no one could come to me unless it’s been granted to me by my father. Can you just elaborate on that for me and the people who so cleverly say when you come to Jesus it has to be like a continual coming and continual seeking, not just a one time thing. Can you just elaborate on those things? I’ll hang up and listen. Okay, Tony, we’ll do that. It’s true. No man can come to the Father except the Father.
Draw Him. And if you read John 1232, it says He draws all men. So everybody is equally drawn. God does not respect our persons. He wants all people to be saved. In fact, there’s a wonderful verse over in 2 Peter. We’ll be covering it tonight. In 2 Peter chapter 3, if you have your Bible there, you’ll want to make a note of this verse. It’s so good. It says here, and good to quote it for you, says, the Lord is not slack concerning his promise.
This is 2 Peter 3 verse 9, as some men count slackness, but as long as suffering to us word not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance or change of mind. So God doesn’t say he’s not willing that many should perish, he’s not willing that any should perish. God does not want anyone to go to hell, not one, not one, not one. But he wants everybody to come to that change of mind, which we talked about today as repentance and when you trust Christ you become safe.
And you only come once. He doesn’t say come again and again and again and again and again and again and again. Nor does he say you have to be born again and again and again and again and again and again and again. You’re only born again once. You only come once and trust him and become saved at that moment and receive eternal life and from that moment on you’re passed from death and to life. From that moment on you’re sealed with the Holy Spirit and he seals you until you’re in heaven.
So it’s something that happens at the moment you believe Ephesians 1.13 says when you believe the gospel. It says you are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchase possession. So in other words, from the moment you believe you become sealed by the Holy Spirit, that implies ownership. He seals you as his child, as his son. He is never going to let that seal be broken. You You are sealed until you are actually standing on heaven, heaven’s shores or earth or sand or whatever.
You will be there in heaven when the Lord completes what he begins at the moment you believe. So you are saved forever and it is all of Christ. It is all by what he did for us and you only come once. Otherwise it works and that is what these churches are teaching to see. You have to continually come and continually do this and that and the other. all works and uh… you won’t be saved if you trust in your work thank you tony and we now have uh…
uh… lennard in richford virginia calling in lennard welcome to bible and you’re on the air uh… have been trying to get on a program for a couple of days now so i’m going to try to be brief but i got a couple questions for you uh… the first question i have uh… my heard you speak early about our file and and how he was trying to you know i’m fine-appenetting all the things you had i also remember reading the file and i had over like eight hundred wives of something i would have said that i would have been three hundred concubums so that that’s my question i want to know uh…
now that the stuff going on in the political second uh… texas i want to know where did god act to feel cared now with our book man to be married to one wife instead of having more than one wife that’s my first question well genesis chapter two and it began at the very beginning so on obviously was this a bit into the word to do what he did and uh… we’re told way back early on in the Bible that you are not to have more than one wife.
In fact, in Deuteronomy, that was written by Moses long before Solomon ever comes along. Let me turn to that passage and I’ll give you a quote from Deuteronomy. This is a In verse 17, and that’s easy to remember, is that Deuteronomy 17-17, neither shall he multiply wives to himself. And it says here that his heart not turn away. Neither shall he multiply to himself silver and gold and so on. So it’s very clear that we’re not to have more than one wife period from the very get-go, and that was written long before Solomon came along.
And really God got angry. not really so much because he had so many wives, but because they turned his heart away. That’s what the warning was here. They began to bring their false gods into Israel and Solomon allowed that to happen under his watch because his wives turned his heart away. Amen. Thank you. My second question is found in the Gospel Court in the Matthew chapter 25 when Jesus was speaking about separating the sheep from the goat. The last thing he said, he said, when you’ve done this to the least of the brethren, done it to me also.
I was having a discussion. I wanted to know what you just talking about to the believers. When you feed the believers and clothe the believers, you’ve done it to me or are you talking about the entire world? He’s actually talking about the tribulation period after the rapture and there are three groups there. There are the goats which are the unsaved and the sheep which are the saved and the third group are the Jews that are his brethren according to the flesh.
Christ was a Jew and the 144,000 witnesses will be persecuted and imprisoned and what group will come and visit them and bring them food and clothing and so on. It’s those that got saved through the 144,000, they’re grateful and they ministered to the 144,000 and the unsaved who could care less and probably are glad that they’re in jail don’t minister to them. So this is how God is going to judge the world one day as to how they treated the Jewish people.
Thank you, Dr. Hank. You’re very welcome. Thank you for calling in Leonard. That was Leonard from Richmond, Virginia with some very good questions there. A guy named Lex calls in from Tampa. He leaves this off her question. What are your thoughts on DS Warner and his writings and of those churches that adhere to his teachings? Well, obviously Warner thought he could live sinlessly. You can’t. I think he founded the Assemblies of Gone, but in any case he was into holiness.
And by the way, a person has to be holy to go to heaven, but the holiness, the righteousness, is not based upon what we have done, but upon what Christ has done. In other words, the Bible says by one offering Christ has perfected forever them that are sanctified. The word sanctified means to make pure and holy and it says in Hebrews 10 verse 10, by the which will or by the will of God we are sanctified, made pure and holy by the one time offering of Jesus Christ at the cross of Calvary.
When Christ died, He fully paid your sin debt so that you can be made pure and holy in God’s sight. And so the believer is seen as holy, righteous, positionally at the moment of belief and forever thereafter. And by the way, the word sanctify is the verb form. The noun form is saint. And so every believer is a saint right now, right now. And so if you’re a believer, you’re a saint. It says that in the Bible. All the epistles in the New Testament written to believers addresses them as saints.
Because they were saints right then while they were living, even though they had problems. And by the way, you can’t live sinlessly. First John 1-8, John the Apostle, 60-something years plus after he got saved, says if we, first John 1-8, say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not it. Bibleline will be back in a moment. To pledge your support for Bible line, give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. You know the Bible tells us about the earth being created and we believe created perfectly and inhabited. And the Bible then tells about a judgment that occurred that destroyed all life on the planet earth.
And that judgment is recorded for us in Genesis 1-2 where the earth became without form and void. And darkness was upon the face of the deep. And that, we believe, was the result of a judgment that the original earth was perfect, inhabited, plants, animals, dinosaurs, and all of God’s angels lived on this earth, and Lucifer ruled over them. Now, we know that apparently that went on for millions and millions and millions of years. And then Satan, who is called Lucifer at that point, decided that he wanted to become God and overthrow God.
And look at so interesting, in Isaiah 14, if you have your Bible, turn there and you’ll find that all the angels lived on the earth, Lucifer lived on the earth, Lucifer was given the title of the God of this world. And notice God knew his thoughts, so this rebellion didn’t get too far. It says in verse 13 about Lucifer, for thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven.” Well, obviously, Lucifer was not in heaven if he was going to ascend there.
Secondly, he says, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God. Apparently, he’s on the earth here, below the stars, the visible universe that we can see with our naked eye. And then thirdly it says here in Isaiah 14 and verse 13, I will also sit upon the Mount of the congregation in the sides of the North. There’s an interesting revelation to us, isn’t it? Because it really hints here that heaven is in the North in our universe.
Did you know that the book of Job written 3500 years ago tells us about a void in the north in our universe where there are no stars? Is this the place where heaven is? Let me quote that verse for you. Job chapter 26 verse 7 says that God stretches out the north over the empty place, the empty place. Now, nobody knew anything about this until, rather recently, in fact it was the 200-inch telescope in Mount Palomar, California, where they first discovered this void in the north and the universe where there are no stars.
And they say that it is so large that it could contain 2,000 Milky Way’s, no Hershey bars. It’s easy. But you know, the Milky Way galaxy is 100,000 light years across. That means, like traveling at the speed of 186,000 miles per second, would take 100,000 years to get from one end of the Milky Way galaxy to the other. And therefore, this is a pretty big expanse, isn’t it? It’s quite large. And this void in the north is large enough to hold 2,000 Milky Way galaxies.
Pretty incredible. The Milky Way contains so many stars. I climbed Mount Sinai over there in the Middle East, and it’s 8,000 feet high. We began our ascent about two in the morning, and we got on camels about the 5,000 foot level. And there we rode up to the top, not to the entire top, but to about the 7,000 foot level. And there was a parking lot for camels, and I called it Camelot. And we left our camel there, and hopefully we’d find that Camelot and we came back down.
But the last thousand feet you have to walk or climb on your own. Wow, with a rarefied air, that was quite an ordeal. And it got up there, and it was pitch black. And I had the most amazing experience I’ve ever had. I saw as I looked up above at the Milky Way. It looked like somebody had taken a great big container of milk and just threw it straight up at the sky. I mean, we’re talking about white, white, white, just so many stars and it looked like milk.
And I had never experienced that before in my life. Wow, no wonder they called it the Milky Way. But then, because we’re at 8,000 feet high, the highest mountain peak around, I could look around and see stars in every direction, just as many in every direction I looked. Anyway, we are going to go back to the stations that have been on break and do the second half hour Bible. So I hope you’ll keep your radio right where it is and here we go.
We’re going to do Bible and the second half hour right now. Would you like to help Bibleline continue in your area? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. And now back to Bibleline. Welcome back from the break. This is Tom Perry for Bibleline Ministries. We hope that you are learning with us as we listen to questions from Bibleline callers and answers from Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Have you been able to join us for Dr. Lindstrom’s teaching series on the Book of Daniel?
This series covers a variety of topics from the Book of Daniel, such as Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, the fiery furnace, the handwriting on the wall, and the lion’s den, in addition to many exciting prophecies, and we will be exploring all of these and more in this teaching series. We hope that you plan to join us and open your Bible for a verse by verse study of the Book of Daniel. If you have missed any of the teaching in this series, please call our Resource Center at 1-800-576-3771.
Now please join us as we return to our question and answer segment and then we’ll return for more Bible teaching from Dr. Lindstrom. We have Dorothea in Chester, Virginia. This is beginning to be all of a sudden Virginia Day. or see a welcome to my blind you are on the air yes i think yes i’ll listen to you that every day and i have three years after a linde or the problem and i hope that you’ll continue it i have a question a day you yesterday you were talking about a Jehovah uh…
witness bible and in our day and you said something about both bibles read the same but a word in some chapter. I don’t remember the chapter. Could you please tell me what chapter that is? Well, both Bibles delete the same 44 verses. There are 44 verses deleted in their entirety in the NIV. For example, one of them is Acts 837, the most important verse probably in that chapter. And it’s the only place that tells us what is the requirement for someone to be water baptized, and that is that they have believed on the Lord Jesus Christ and have trusted him as their Savior and are saved.
And then they’re eligible to be water baptized, which is a testimony of that faith. But if you have an NIV Bible, you’ll read verse 36, then you’ll read verse 38, and there is no Acts 837. The mystery what happened to Acts 837? They just dropped it, and they’ve dropped 44 verses, and guess what? The Jehovah’s Witness Bible drops the same 44 verses. Well does that mean that maybe we shouldn’t read the Bible or in our Bible? I wouldn’t I think so.
I’ve never had one. I always stick with the King James version. Well good for you. Yeah the NID is a lousy translation. You will definitely be misled. It accommodates whatever people want to hear. You know there’s not a verse in the Bible that says angels sing. That’s not a big point but yet it shows how we don’t study our Bibles but there’s not one verse but yet the niv accommodates the readers and just puts into the angels sink so i mean you’ll you’ll get whatever you want to get out of your bible if you read the niv because they will accommodate the popular misconceptions and wrong ideas of people and uh…
and twist the bible to make it say that but uh… obviously uh… i would want a bible like that and i hope uh… if you have one you would put it away someplace well i was thinking about getting one but now i’m not getting one but let me ask you another question Okay. The trick I belong to, the pastor does read, uh, uh, in of the Bible verses from time to time. Now, what did you think about that? Well, obviously I think he’s probably not doing his homework about what is a good Bible translation because it’s, uh, very clear the NIV is not a good translation.
And, uh, we have a quiz here that we will mail you free that is the NIV quiz. your pastor to take this quiz using his N of E Bible. Guess what? He’ll get a zero because all the verses on the quiz are not in his Bible. So obviously he can’t get an answer and it’s a wake up call. A lot of people have gotten rid of their Bible as soon as they’ve realized, whoops, this quiz wakes me up that these verses are all missing and I can’t even pass the quiz unless I get another kind of Bible.
Right. Well, see, I moved from a town to another and I just joined this church. I went a few months and then I noticed a few things which I didn’t, you know, agree. And then when I heard this about the Jehovah Witness Bible, NIV, I have a question, you know, now about about that, him reading some books. So I will, you’ll send me this quiz, the test. If you hold on, I’ll give you over to my operators and they’ll take your address.
Northia and Mo’emalot right up to you. All right. Thank you so much and God bless you. All right. We of course want you to also know that we have the book New Age Bible Versions which also is so powerful. It’s about 800 pages and goes through about 20 of the modern translations and shows what’s been happening today with all those. We now have Curtis and Curtis is in Jacksonville, Florida and Curtis. Welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Good morning, Pastor.
Good morning. I want to congratulate you. I think that’s one of the greatest revelations that teachers you had this morning and made a big impact on my life. But my question is, I also heard another statement and I want to know if it’s on the same line as what you say. I’m a sinner cover. Well, that is correct. We have a sin nature. We’re born into this world related back to Adam and have that sinful nature of Adam. And so we sin because we have a sin nature.
A dog, for example, barks because he’s a dog. A dog doesn’t become a dog when he barks. You know, you have that puppy and you say, boy, I can’t wait to see if he’s a dog or not. Let’s see if he barks. And eventually the little puppy goes, then you say, well, that must be a dog. The dog is a dog before he barks and you know he’ll bark one day because that’s his nature. Same thing is true about us.
I didn’t mean to bark on the radio here. Excuse me. I thought that was one of the greatest revelations that I ever heard and it made things a lot more plainer to me. Absolutely. And I just hope that other people become more aware of it. Well, I tell you, we really have to keep hammering away and presenting the truth. I went to church for 18 years before I ever found out how to be saved. And I’ve led people to Christ in their 70s and 80s that have been in church all their life and never knew how to be saved.
And that’s sad. That should not happen. How can somebody spend 80 years in a church and not find out how to go to heaven? Well, it shouldn’t be happening. Everybody should know how to go to heaven, even if they don’t learn anything else. That’s the basics. That’s the bottom of the of the of the, you know, essential is the how to become saved in that child of God. And so that needs to be presented and presented clearly to people so they can understand it.
Thank you. Thank you. And that was Curtis and Jacksonville, Florida. And we’re now going to go to Peter in Palm Harbor. Peter in Palm Harbor. Welcome to Bibleline you’re on the earth. Good morning, Pastor. I was wondering if you could explain and kind of comment in light of your opening sermon on Luke 1615. I’ll hang up and listen. All right. We’ll go ahead and do that. Luke 1615. I’m on my way. Luke 1615. 15. And here it says, you are they which justify yourselves before men, but God knoweth your hearts.
For that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God. That’s a great verse isn’t it? A lot of things that people are doing that they think are really going to bring them credit with God and help them on their way to heaven are really not going to get them anywhere. And it warns about that here in this particular verse, you are they would justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. You’re not justified by doing things that get you approval with men.
You’re saved by when you trust in the finished work of Jesus Christ as Savior in Luke 1615, this is the verse. And while we have Christina in Newport, Richie, Florida, and Christina, welcome to Bibleline You’re On The Earth. Yes, I have a 17-year-old niece that was really involved in her church. She was the youth leader of the top of her band and everything at the church and everything. And she’s kind of going astray a little bit. She says that as long as she believes in the Lord and believes as a savior and everything, and that as long as she knows that and believe that that why can’t you go out and have fun now and do something that may be the wrong thing if the Lord is going to forgive her in the end anyway what’s wrong with doing a little bit of that well the answer is is just like if you’re
living in home with mom and dad and you do things wrong you’re punished your parents will uh… hopefully discipline you and god is going to discipline the delinquent believers so she’s going to go Well, And so her wild oats, the result is a crop will come in much later. And unfortunately, the crop can be a really rotten crop. You know, if you do the sins of this world, unfortunately, today, I was just reading something about 25% of girls in junior hive already have sexually transmitted diseases.
What a sad thing. And sometimes these are incurable. They should carry those to the grave. And so they need to be careful what they do because they might be saying, well, I have some fun now, but the pain and theJM suffering and the consequences can be deadly and can be for the rest of their life. And these are, I think, consequences to our sins. And so we just really have to be careful. We need to pray for the young lady that she’ll realize that you don’t want to do that because you can really pay a big price for that.
But even though you’re saved, you can pay a price in being disciplined here and the pain suffering that comes as a result you don’t want to experience. Right. That’s what I was thinking and trying to explain to her that there is going to be consequences on the earth and as long as you follow with the Lord, he’ll help you through everything. But there are consequences here and she’s just, if I’m going to be saved and I’m going to go to Heaven in the Hand anyways, but there is consequences on earth.
Absolutely. Also in heaven the result will be lost of reward forever. And obviously it’s just like Jacob and Esau. Esau didn’t see the importance of living for Christ or being aware of the spiritual things and he sold his birthright for just a pot of soup to his brother. And later he regretted that and he wept. He tried to get Isaac his father to change his mind about giving the birthright and the blessing and he says the change of his dad’s mind with tears but it couldn’t be changed and he suffered the loss forever.
Well thank you so much I appreciate it. Okay thank you so much and by the way that’s another example of the word repentance. Isaac, it says, or rather Esau sought this birthright back, the blessing back with tears and repentance. And of course, if you don’t read it carefully, it was not him repenting. It was he wanted his dad to repent or change his mind. And for the dad to Isaac to bless him after he had already given the blessing to his brother after he sold his birthright.

Price will destroy not just them, but every unbeliever on the earth at the Second Coming, and so all of these will be destroyed, and therefore all of their wealth and all of their land will become Israel’s.
Now what did God promise to Abraham way back in Genesis? That they would own all the land from the Nile River to the river Euphrates which is in Iraq. And guess what? If you look in between there, everything there is in Islamic country. And all these countries are the ones that say, let’s say Israel be destroyed, let’s let Jerusalem be our capital. God says they don’t know the Bible. They are not paying attention to what God thinks about this whole thing and therefore God is going to have Israel defeat them and all that territory will become Israel’s and all their gain and all their substance all their wealth will become Israel’s and according to the Bible Israel will become the richest nation on the earth.
During the millennial kingdom is not incredible. Now verse one of chapter five. Now gathered myself in troops. Oh daughter of troops. He have laid siege against us. They shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek and I was talking about the first coming of Christ when Jesus would be smitten and slain and die on Calvary’s cross for you and for me and look at what it tells us about that first coming of Christ, but thou Bethlehem, efforta.
be little among the thousands of Judah. Yet out of these shall come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel, that’s the Messiah, the one who will become king over them, whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. Who has been from everlasting? Only God. But God would come and take on human flesh that would be born where? In Bethlehem. And it tells you which Bethlehem? Bethlehem, Ephrata, which is the one next to Jerusalem, there’s another Bethlehem in northern Israel in Zebulon and this tells you exactly where Jesus would be born.
And no doubt that’s what happened in the New Testament. Christ came. He came forth out of Bethlehem. That’s where Christ was born when Mary and Joseph went down for the taxing and the senses. There Mary was great with child and she bore the Lord Jesus Christ, the Messiah. Then there’s an interval because the Messiah is smitten in verse 1. He’s rejected when he comes. And so it says in verse 3, therefore will God give them up until the time that she the travaileth have brought forth, then the remnant of his brethren shall return under the children of Israel.
That refers about the advance of the Second Coming when the Jewish people would go back after a 2000 year interval when God has set the Jews aside in a sense on the bench. And for the past 2000 years, the Jewish people have lost their homeland and have been dispersed and have been out of favor, but now they’re going to return. Then it says in verse 4, He shall stand. The He in verse 4 is the Messiah of verse 2, Jesus.
He shall stand up or stand and feed in the strength of the Lord in the majesty of the name of the Lord His God. And they, the Jewish people shall what? Abide. For now shall he, Christ, be great unto the ends of the earth. What do the angel tell Mary? That your child that you will bear will be great. And his kingdom, of his kingdom there shall be no end. He will sit upon the throne of David to rule forever and ever.
And look at verse 5, now, this man shall be the peace when the Assyrian shall come into our land. The Assyrian will be the president of the United States who takes over Europe by plucking up three countries by the roots in the Europe and America together take over all of what was ancient Assyria and the Antichrist becomes the Assyrian. And when the Assyrian comes into the Middle East he’ll also militarily take over Israel. We’ll see that in the book of Daniel.
And notice this is when Christ will come back. Verse 6 says, They, speaking of the nations under the Antichrist, the Assyrian, shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword. Look at what’s already been happening. All the bombs, all the war, all the destruction of what has been happening over there. And the land of Nimrod. Have we read Nimrod’s name before? Back in Genesis chapter 10, it all started back in Iraq, it’s going to wind up again in Iraq, and the land of Nimrod is the land of Iraq.
And we have here the land of Nimrod in the entrances thereof, thus shall Jesus deliver us from what? The Assyrian when he cometh into our land, when he treadeth within our borders. So when the Antichrist comes into Israel, Christ then will come back at the Second Coming and defeat the Antichrist in the nations of the West and will establish his kingdom on the earth and the remnant of Jacob, the remnant of Jacob is this last day group of Jews that are living in the world that will be noticed in the midst of many people as a do from the Lord.
God is going to bless them and all the nations that are around Israel will be blessed by God blessing them and notice as the showers upon the grass, what happens, the grass turns green and grows, and that Terryeth not for man nor waited for the sons of men. We find here that God is going to bless Israel, and this remnant of Jacob will be raised up, and God will destroy the nations that surround Israel that are obviously unsaved and are deceived by Satan and reject the God of the Bible and the Lord Jesus Christ.
If you read the Quran, it is the only religion in the world that directly attacks Christ in the Bible, and it says that Jesus Christ is not the Son of God, that Jesus Christ is not the Savior, that Jesus Christ did not die upon the cross of Calvary, that Jesus Christ did not rise again from the dead. the Quran directly attacks the gospel message, which is the heartbeat of the Bible. And this is the conflict in our world right now, in our day.
So anyway, going back now to Daniel 7, we have here an insight as to what will happen in the last days. The Assyrian really will become the President of the United States. He will tread within the borders of Israel when he takes over. And look at what’s happening. Wow! Look at what’s happening with Syria and Lebanon already. But only by actually taking it all over will he be able to establish a false peace in the world. In the Antichrist will take over, I believe, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, and Egypt.
We’ll see that later in Daniel the 11th chapter. Verse 9 are you ready? Daniel 7, verse 9, I beheld Daniel saw down into the future until thrones were cast down and the ancient of days did sit whose garment was wide as snow and the hair of his head like the pure wool. His throne was like the fiery flame, his wheels as burning fire. A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him. A thousand thousands ministered unto him. A thousand times a thousand is a million and here it says millions, really, thousands, which is millions ministered unto the God upon his throne and ten thousand times ten thousand, that’s a hundred million stood before him and the judgment was set and the books were open.
I believe this is talking about the great white throne judgment at the end of the millennium when God sits upon his throne and you have millions and millions all about his throne as the books are opened and what happens if you read Revelation 20 verses 11 through 15 the unsaved dead are brought up they’re judged out of the books according to their works they’re assigned a degree of punishment and hell and then they’re cast into the lake of fire after Satan and his angels are cast into hell.

But then, because we’re at 8,000 feet high, the highest mountain peak around, I could look around and see stars in every direction, just as many in every direction I looked. But what was so interesting, normally when you look up at the sky, you’re looking over houses or over the tree line or over other obstacles, but for the first time in my life, I could actually look down below the horizon and see stars below the horizon. Just as many as I was seeing up above my head.
I had chill bumps all over the dumb arms and legs. I just couldn’t get over it. I said, I feel like I’m in outer space. I feel like I’m in a space capsule. I feel like I’m observing the universe from outer space because I can see stars in every direction and even down below my feet, down below the level of the horizon. That was a phenomenal thing and I’ve never seen so many stars in my life. Well, we waited for the sun to come up and what a beautiful thing it was to see the sun come up over the mountains there of the wilderness and this desert wilderness where Moses was with the children of Israel And we of course did find our camels and get back down.
But you know, there is one place according to the Bible where there are no stars. Job 26, 7, it says, he stretches out the north over the empty place and hang at the earth upon nothing. It appears that heaven is in the north. And here this verse, Satan says that he wanted to go to the north in our universe to actually sit upon the mountain of the congregation in the sides of the north, implying this corridor with sides where there are no stars in the North and on the universe.
Look at verse 14 now by Isaiah chapter 14 and verse 14 it says, I will ascend above the heights of the clouds. Apparently Lucifer was on the surface of the earth beneath the clouds as he tells us he’s going to ascend above the height of the clouds. So he’s below the clouds, below the planetary heavens that we can be with our eyes. He’s got He has got his sights on heaven itself, and he is looking to sit in the north in this place where God himself rules the universe.
And we find lastly he says in verse 14, I’ll be like the most high. He wanted to be God. And of course God knew these things and he cast Satan and the angels that followed him back down to the earth. And he also judged the earth, and the earth became without form and void. And darkness was upon the face of the deep. I believe the fossil remains that we have in the earth today are the results of that judgment upon the earth.
And we have petroleum oil that is the fossilized remains of animal life. And coal, they fossilized remains of plant life. All of these are evidences of a judgment that came upon this earth. These things are trapped beneath the earth and are used today as our fossil fuels to fuel our world, our modern world today. When you drive your car, you’re using fossilized animal remains from, I believe, the original creation. Isn’t that amazing? Well, the Bible is quite clear that Satan is still the God of this world, and it tells us a lot of different things that we wouldn’t otherwise know.
Why was Satan here? Why was he motivated to get Adam and Eve to fall? The reason why is he was replaced now by Adam and Eve, and so he wanted to cause Adam and Eve to fall. So he’s in the garden and he immediately tries to become Adam and Eve to get them to sin and come under God’s curse. Fascinating stuff, but we’re going to go to the phone lines. I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom. This is my blood. If you’re interested in that kind of topic, I have a number of CDs.
