A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him. thousand thousands ministered unto him. A thousand times a thousand is a million and here it says millions, really thousands, which is millions ministered unto the God upon his throne and ten thousand times ten thousand, that’s a hundred million, stood before him and the judgment was set and the books were opened.

I believe this is talking about the great white throne judgment at the end of the millennium when God sits upon his throne and you have millions and millions all about his throne as the books are opened and what happens if you read Revelation 20 verses 11 through 15 the unsaved dead are brought up they’re judged out of the books according to their works they’re assigned a degree of punishment and hell and then they’re cast into the lake of fire after Satan and his angels are cast into hell.

11. I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horns bake. I beheld even till the beast was slain. The beast is the antichrist. In his body destroyed and given to the burning flame. That’s when the antichrist will be cast into hell. You see that in Revelation 19 verse 20 and he’ll be cast into the everlasting lake of fire given to the burning flame. Verse 12 has concerning the rest of the beast. They had their dominion take it away.

So each of the world powers we’ve read here about in chapter 7 of Daniel, the Nebuchadnezzar’s empire, the Babylonian power has been taken away, the Mido-Persian empire, their powers have been taken away, the Grecian empire, their powers have been taken away, Rome lost their power, and we come all the way down to the end times. Yet their lives were prolonged for a season and a time. So there was a period of time that they ruled and reigned and enjoyed their power.

Verse 13, I saw in the night visions and behold one like the Son of Man, this a reference to Christ. He came with the clouds of heaven, and he came to the ancient of days, that’s God the Father. And they brought him near before him, and there was given him dominion and glory, and a kingdom that all people and nations and languages should serve him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion. Which shall not pass away and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

That’s talking about now Christ receiving authority to take over the planet Earth and establish his thousand year rule. And he takes the kingdom from the Father. Now I want you to look over to Luke chapter 19 and we’re going to see an interesting passage here that kind of lets us in on what’s taking place. Jesus Christ defeated Satan. This is going to happen. be on page 1102. Jesus Christ defeated Satan at the cross by redeeming the human race by his death and shed blood.

He now, because he was rejected by the Jewish race, went back to heaven. But when he comes back the second time, he’ll take over the planet Earth away from Satan and establish his kingdom here on the Earth. But in order to be able to take over the earth as His Kingdom, He has to receive the deed, the title deed, to the planet earth from God the Father. And so Jesus, just before He returns, will take the title deed to the planet earth and He will then return and rule over the earth and take it away from Satan.

Let’s look, verse 11. We have Jesus here in verses 1 through 10 in Jericho. And there, Of course, he saw a wee little man named Zacchaeus. Zacchaeus was a short man. He couldn’t see Christ for the crowds. So he climbed up in the top of a sycamore tree. By the way, in Jericho, to this very day, there is a sycamore tree. They try to tell us, was around when Jesus was there. I don’t know that I could believe that.

But at least it’s a sycamore tree right in the heart of ancient Jericho. Yeah, I don’t know. But anyway, it’s interesting to just stop there, and I have a picture of that tree down the hall. I’ll point it out to you if you wanna see it. But in any case, it’s probably not the same tree. But definitely, Zacchaeus was a man not loved. He was a tax collector, and he was seeking the Lord, and Jesus said, Zacchaeus, verse nine, today is salvation come to your house.

In as much as he is also a son of Abraham. for the Son of Man has come to seek in to save that which was lost. He knew that Zacchaeus was wanting to know the truth. And he knew before it ever happened, I’m sure that Zacchaeus would climb up in the tree to even just get a look at Jesus. And Jesus stopped and looked at Zacchaeus up in the tree. And so Zacchaeus come down. Today, salvation has come to your house.

And Jesus, of course, brought salvation to Zacchaeus as Zacchaeus trusted Christ as his Savior. Now they leave Jericho and they’re heading back up to Jerusalem, which is up geographically, as Jericho is below sea level. About 1200 feet below sea level, it’s really dry, it’s very hot. The temperature is there and the shade can be 135 in the summer. And so there’s an expression in Israel, if they don’t like you, they say, go to Jericho as opposed to saying go to H.E.L.L.L.L.?

It’s a hot place. So basically, if they don’t like you, it is or they’ll say, go to Jericho. Everybody knows what it means. It’s a hot place. But anyway, Jericho is an oasis in the desert there, and it’s the only green spot where everything is just brown and desert there. So as they heard these things, he added and specced of parable because he was now on the way up to Jerusalem and was near to Jerusalem. and look at what they were thinking, based upon the Old Testament prophecies, because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear.

They said, wow, this is the king, no doubt. He’s headed to Jerusalem, what’s he gonna do when he gets to Jerusalem? The prophets all said he would establish his kingdom. He would establish his throne in the tops of the mountains, in the house of the Lord, the temple. So hey, we’re about ready to see it happen. They were excited and they were watching this happen and they said, they thought here, this would happen. So he tells a parable to let him know that it wasn’t going to happen then.

He says a certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for his self a kingdom and return. Now there you have it. He’s basically telling them that they’re going, he’s going to leave and Christ is the nobleman. The far country is heaven. Christ is going to go back to heaven And what will he do while he’s in heaven before he returns? He’ll receive a kingdom. And the kingdom is in the form of the title deed to the planet Earth.

And because he conquered Satan, he can now take the deed of the Earth. You know, God gave this world to Satan way back before Adam and Eve when he originally created the earth, the appointed Satan nor Lucifer as the God of this world. And Lucifer lived with all of God’s angels on the earth for millions and millions and millions of years. Until all of a sudden Satan said, you know, I can overthrow God, I can become God, I can overtake God.

And so he let every body and lay left earth with an invasion force of a third of God’s angels, really intending to overthrow God and take over heaven and Lucifer would be the new God. Well obviously God never let that get very far. And as they were headed toward heaven, God judged Satan and his angels and cast them back down to the earth. At the same time we believe he judged the earth and we find that judged and void and Genesis 1 and 2 is a result of that judgment and the earth lay in darkness and void and under water and flooded and became iced over.

The ice ages I think occurred and then maybe just 6,000 years ago the Spirit of God warmed up the earth moved upon the face of the waters which means he brooded upon them and incubated the earth and warmed it up and in seven days He makes the earth inhabitable again for life. And so now let’s go back now in verse 13 and 14 of Daniel and see if it doesn’t make more sense. I saw in the night visions and behold one like unto the Son of Man Christ.

This will happen after the Rapture in heaven in the tribulation period just before Christ returns to the earth. And notice here he comes to the ancient of days as the Father and they brought him near before him, and it was given him dominion and glory. Mark it and what? A kingdom! Thank you for joining us. We now have Matthew in the Spring Hill, Florida, and Matthew, welcome to Bibleline you’re on here. Good morning, pastor. Can you explain to me in Luke 735 when Jesus said wisdom is justified of all our children, what He meant by that? All right, I’m turning there now in Luke 735. 735, it’s, let’s see here.

Okay, wisdom, there is I think a reference to Christ himself. It’s back in the Old Testament, you’ll find it talks about in Proverbs, I think it’s about chapter 8, that wisdom is a personification of the Messiah or Christ. And we find that it’s saying here, all her children, obviously, that those who come to know Christ and are His will obviously forever enjoy the benefits of that. It will be absolutely a complete vindication of any of those who a sale who Christ is or what He can do for you.

Those who are in heaven one day, all the children that come to know Christ as their Savior will obviously be a witness and a testimony to the fact that Christ is who He is and how that He is truly wisdom and those who trust Him are saved forever. a number of verses you could use in a search that would tie it all together for you. Alright, thank you sir. Thank you. And that was Matthew. We now have Felix in Tampa, Florida and Felix, welcome to Bibleline Your On The Earth.

Hi, how are you doing? Good. Yes, I got a question. We were explaining to me John 514, where he said that seeing the more. Yeah, are you talking about the woman that was caught in adultery? No, no, this one is a man who got and Jesus tell him not to sing okay John for five fourteen After what after we’re done Jesus finally him in the temple and say I am behold our made hold Sin no more or less the worst thing come upon thee I’m like my question is a Jesus Christ telling us here that we are capable of not to sing no But I think it’s talking about whatever since he was committing which were over sends and he needed to stop A drunkard can stop drinking and other people who have addictions and the problems can get beyond those and stop.

But we can’t live totally sin-free, which is obvious. It says in James 4 17, for example, to him that knoweth to do good and doeth not to him and to sin. So whenever we fail in any area of responsibility where we know where to do something for the Lord and we don’t, we are sinning when we don’t. read our Bible and we don’t pray and so on. So you can’t live without sin, but there are certain sins you can stop.

Felix, thank you for that call. We’re gonna go to Levita in Lake Worth, Florida and Levita, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the earth. Thank you very much, Dr. Hank. Yeah, I had a question. The term heart is used over 800 times in the King James version of the Bible. And we know that the heart is a pumping organ. So my question is from what term or terms in the original language was the word heart translated? And was there just one word in the original language or many?

Could there have been a better translation? Well the answer is yes. It really means the center of your thought processes and back in 1611 they thought wrong that you did your thinking with your heart because obviously it would skip a beat or it would race or slow down depending on what was going on around you. And today we know you think with your brain. So really when you believe with your heart you really believe you are the center of your thought processes.

Today we know it is our brain. And we have those expressions from that 16-11 time like we say for example, I love you with all my heart. Well, that’s technically not true, but it’s not very romantic to say, I love you with all my brain. So if you want to tell your family, I love you with all my brain, it would probably cause them to be turned off. But we have that expression we’re going to get used to it, but it really means the center of your thought processes.

And that’s based on the wrong understanding of our anatomy back in 1611, and that we did our thinking with our heart, but we don’t. In other cultures, I understand they translated their bowels or their stomach or other intestines which are affected by our thoughts. You can be frightened or afraid and it affects different parts of your body. The actual word means the center of your thought processes and we’re just kind of stuck with it. It has to be explained sometimes because it isn’t really your pumping organ.

Okay, so actually the words were translated correctly. It’s just that we have a different understanding of the anatomy today versus then. Yeah, exactly. Is that correct? Yes, they thought that we did think with our heart in those days and that’s why they translated heart. But the word would today would maybe be brain but it’s going to be hard to sell that to people to get it to write our Bibles and say, believe with all your brain. What is the original language word do you know?

I forget right now, I used to know that on the top of my tongue but I’d have to look it up. If you get our website you can do it on our website. We have a Bible there with a concordance and you can look up the original word and it’s pretty easy. Okay. I really appreciate your time Dr. Hank. Thank you so much and God bless you. Thank you, Levita, in Lake Worth, Florida. And we’re now going to go to Skip in Clearwater, Florida.

And Skip, welcome to Bible In Your Own The Year. I just want to ask you a question about the parabola sun. I know you say that the parabola by non-bola. Well, they might confuse the believers as well. The parables obviously can be made to say a lot of things. But you have to interpret them in the light of clear doctrinal passages elsewhere, or you’ll go astray. If you look at the ones in Matthew 13, a couple of them Christ interprets for us.

And when that gives us a real basis of defining the terms, and if you didn’t have that, you could really go all over the place. I have a lot of commentaries and you can probably read six different commentaries on a particular parable and get six different ideas about what it might say. So the parables are not written to make things clear, but to conceal truth, as Christ said, I spoke in parables that seeing they would not see and hearing they would not hear and they would not understand unless at any time they should be converted.

So from the people that are wise in their own eyes and are not really seeking, they’ll be misled by the parables. But a person who is seeking the truth can find the answers, but you have to interpret them in a lot of clear passages. So whenever you approach a parable, you make sure. That whatever interpretation you come up with is in harmony with the rest of the Bible. And so the… No, that one I don’t think is so mysterious, but you’d be surprised at how many different ideas come up out of that.

I believe that it’s talking about a believer who departs away from the Father and then sees how foolish that was. It obviously is not a better life to live after the world. And so he comes back to his father and his father receives him back. So God receives us back and we can be restored. And God never casts us out. He never loses us. We’re saved eternally once we trust him as our Savior. And so the Lord rejoices when we come back to serve him and live for him, even if we’ve gotten away or if we’ve fallen away, we can come back and get going again.

So you believe that that son was saying? Yeah, he was dead as far as the intimacy with his father. He just disappeared off the scene and now he comes back and he’s alive to his father again in the sense that they are together and they’re fellowshipping. But he was very much his son the whole time. He never was not a son, had to be re-adopted into the family. He was a son all along. So that’s what the patient is that he was saved because I was my father’s son, whether I obeyed or disobeyed, whether I lived at home or whether I moved away.

In fact, my father’s passed on to heaven, but I’m still his son. There’s nothing that can ever undo that. And so here was a son who decided to take his inheritance and run off and do his thing, but he was still the father’s son at all times. He was out of fellowship and obviously found out that it wasn’t greener on the other side and obviously he missed out. We have here Gary and Largo and he says, please explain to Colossians 123 if you continue in the faith.

those phrases where it has condition, if, for example, is talking about the Christian life. And if you continue to faith, then when you stand before the Lord and give an account for how you’ve lived your life, which will have to do with the degree of reward you’ll receive when you get into heaven or loss of reward that some will experience, it says if you continue in the faith, then you’re going to be rewarded and you’ll stand before the Lord blameless, and as the Lord would have you in a condition where he can reward you for your faithful service.

Those words continue are used of the Christian life everywhere. If you read Acts chapter 2, the three thousand that got saved is as they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine. In John 8 when Christ talked about the believers that had gotten saved, he says, if you continue in my word, then are you my disciples indeed. Here it says, if you continue and that continuing has to do with the Christian life, you’re going to be rewarded. That’s where the stock is at.

To pledge your support for Bibleline, give us a call at 1-800-576-3771.

That’s 1-800-576-3771. Give your Bible, get it out, and we’ll take a look at the Scriptures. You’ll find that the Word of God is an incredible book, not only does it claim to be the Word of God, but indeed it is the Word of God from cover to cover. We believe all of the Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction, in righteousness. That the man of God might be completely furnished, throughly furnished into all good works.

And so if you are a believer, you need to get into your Bible and you need to see what it has to say. There’s one unpardonable sin and most people have committed that sin that is the sin of unbelief. In John 3 18 it says, he that believeth on Christ is not condemned. He that believeth not is condemned already and then it says because because he hath not believed on the name of the only begotten son of God. What is so amazing is that the unpardonable sin is unbelief, it’s rejection of Christ.

Jesus paid for every imaginable sin that you would ever commit in your lifetime. He paid for all your past sins, your present sins and your future sins. They’re all paid for and when you trust Christ as your Savior the Bible says at the moment you trust him You are not condemned nor will you be condemned any time in the future? You’ll never come into condemnation if you are a believer John 3 18 take a look But if you’re not a believer then you are condemned already So the unbeliever is already living in a condemned state You don’t have to wait till you die to find out you’re condemned the Bible says the one who does not believe on Christ is condemned already because he hath not believed on the name of the only begotten son of God.

There are only two groups in this world and there are only believers and unbelievers. The whole world splits into these two groups. I tell people there are two kinds of Catholics. They are those who have trusted Christ as their only hope of heaven and are saved in going to heaven and there are those who have not trusted Christ as their Savior and as the only means of their salvation and they’re going to help. There are two kinds of Methodists.

Those that have simply trusted Christ is their only hope of heaven and are saved going to heaven. And there are those who are Methodists who have not trusted Christ as the only means of their salvation and are lost and are going to help. And we can go down through every denomination. It’s not what denomination you belong to. It’s not what church you attend. It is whether or not you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior or not. all those that believe on Christ, that is trust on Him as Savior, they are not condemned, but the ones who are unbelievers are condemned already.

So which group are you in? Are you a believer? Have you trusted in Jesus Christ? The word believe comes from the Greek word pustuo. It means to trust or rely upon to put your confidence in the rest of your way to pawn. Once you trustforestation, according to the Bible, you possess everlasting life. Not only does it say that you’re not condemned in John 3 18, which is in a Greek tense that says you’re not condemned at the moment you believe, but also you’re forever thereafter not condemned.

But in John 3 16 it says, whosoever Cosponsors believeth or trusteth in Christ should not perish but have, have as a present tense verb that you would have at the moment you believe, you would possess presently everlasting life from the moment you believe. Let me give you a quiz. If you have everlasting life, and according to the Bible, once you trust Christ as the only means of your salvation, you possess it presently from that moment on, what kind of life would you have tomorrow?

Well, the answer would be everlasting life. Very good. If you have everlasting life today, what kind of life would you have next week? Well, it would still be everlasting life, wouldn’t it? If you have everlasting life today, what kind of life would you have one year from now? Well, it would still be everlasting life. If you have everlasting life today, what kind of life would you have a hundred years of now? Well, it would still be everlasting life. And if you have everlasting life right now, what kind of life would you have a million years from now?

Well, obviously, it’s forever and ever and ever and ever. And according to the Bible, it is a present possession received that the moment of belief so many people think that they have to wait until after they die to find out whether they’re going to heaven. Why? Because they have a false plan of salvation, which is based upon works. And as long as you’re thinking in terms of works, you have to wait until after you die until all the works are added up or wait in the scale.

And then it is determined whether you make heaven or not. We’re going to rejoin stations that have been on break into the second half hour by one. So don’t go away. If you’d like to help Bibleline continue in your area, you can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. And now back to Bibleline. Welcome back from the break. This is Tom Perry for Bibleline Ministries. We hope that you’re learning with us as we listen to real-life questions and scriptural answers from Dr.

Hank Lindstrom. You’ve been able to join us for Dr. Lynch from Teaching Series on the book of Daniel. This series covers a variety of topics from the book of Daniel, such as Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, the fiery furnace, the handwriting on the wall, the lion’s-+-+, Daniel’s many visions and their interpretations in addition to many exciting prophecies. We hope that you will plan to join us and open your Bible for our verse by verse study of the book of Daniel. If you have missed any of the teachings in this series, please call our Resource Center at 1-800-576-3771.

Now, please join us as we return to our question and answer segment, and then we’ll return to more Bible-like teaching from Dr. Hank Linschner. We don’t have Carol in Punta Gorda, Florida, and Carol, welcome to Bible-in-Your-On-The-Air. Hank. Yes. How are you? Good. Good. I want to say first, thank you. I went for many years really not knowing as a Christian if I was saved or not. There are so many churches that teach different doctrines and I did call in last month and I got your packet.

I wrote all of the savings, salvation, scriptures, everywhere I could find thanks to everything that you sent me. Now I feel absolutely secure after I became a Christian in 75, but I am absolutely saved. So thank you. Oh, welcome. That’s wonderful news, Carol. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Oh, that’s exciting. Well, I am happy for you and been passed that word along to others. I will. And I do have a question. You were talking about incurrentience about the things that we do for the kingdom of God.

The only thing that’s going to count as far as what we receive when we get to heaven. Now isn’t, I mean, I know that we are not saved by what we do, but what we do for the Kingdom of God does that mean just being nice or being kind or witnessing. Does it only mean witnessing? I’ve heard it said that, you know, what we are supposed to do is to go ye therefore, which I understand. But I happen to be a very nice person as a Christian.

I’m very kind and good But does that not count and when you say all of those things which we done into Christ will count Can you kind of give me a little can you break that down a little bit for me? Happy to do that and obviously whatever you do For the Lord, you know the Bible talks about for example in Ephesians if you’re just a good employee for Christ If you are a good witness that you do a good job and you don’t steal from your employer, that that is a witness for Christ and you’ll be rewarded for that.

It’s quite an interesting passage, but just let me read this to you. It says servants, or that would be employees. This is Ephesians 6 verse 5. servants or employees be obedient to them that are your masters, that is your employer, according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, as in singleness of your heart as unto Christ, not with eye service as men pleasers, but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart. It says, with good will, doing service as to the Lord, and not to men, knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.

Basically it’s saying God is going to reward you for that. And here it talks about some of the things you mentioned there, Carol, that talks about knowing that what’s so ever good any man doeth the same shall he receive the Lord whether he be a slave or a free man. So just about almost anything you do during the day. If you do it as unto the Lord and you’re seeking to please him as you live your life and live it honestly and your good testimony, God is going to reward you.

You may not like your boss, you may not like your work environment, and maybe you’d like to get out of there, but if you are a good employee and you do a good job and you just realize that you’re really serving Christ, that He’s your real employer, He will reward you and compensate you for any losses that you’ve had here and you’ll be rewarded greatly in heaven. And so I think to just get up every day and say, Lord, I’m living this day for you.

And I’m going to do my very best to live it according to the Bible and to be a witness as best as I can to the principles taught in the Bible and to share with others as I have opportunity. The Gospel of Christ is obviously the icing on the cake. But God is going to reward you for anything you do. giving a cup of water to somebody who’s thirsty in the name of Christ as a powerful, powerful witness. Thank you.

We’re now going to go to Angel in St. Petersburg, and Angel, welcome to Bible On Your On The Air. What my question is for you is regarding the doctrine of Calvinism. I’m just wondering if you can just give me why you don’t believe it. I reject that teaching, but if you can give me your explanation on that, why you don’t believe it, just simply, I’m just going to hang up and listen to you. Alright, well very good. Calvinism really, as it is taught, doesn’t match up with scripture.

five points of Calvinism that are generally expressed are usually remembered by the acronym TOOLE. The first one is total depravity, which I believe that we’re all depraved, that we’re all sinners, that when Adam sinned, the sin passed upon the whole human race. But in Calvinism they say that you are spiritually dead, which is true, and that you as a spiritually dead person depraved and sinful that you cannot even believe. And so according to the Bible we can believe, but Calvinism says you can’t even believe a dead man can’t do anything.

But guess what? The Bible says, for example, in John’s Gospel chapter 5 that dead men can believe. It says in verse 25, Jesus says these are His words, not mine, rarely, verily I say unto you, the hour is coming and now is when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God, and they that here shall live.” In other words, a person can hear who is spiritually dead the words of Christ, the words of the Scriptures, and believe the gospel and become saved.

So Calvinism says, you can’t believe that you are dead and you cannot even believe so God has to give you faith. The second point of Calvinism, the you and tulip means unconditional election. And that means that God does not choose you to be saved on the basis of your works. But Calvinism teaches not even on the basis of faith, that we’re not saved by faith, we’re saved by God choosing to save who he wants to save, and those that he wants to send to hell, he sends to hell with disregard to belief.

But that Bible doesn’t teach that. The Bible teaches that God chooses to save people based upon belief. If you look at 1 Thessalonians 1 Thessalonians 1 and says in verse 2, In verse 13, and what a great verse to this one is, this is the second Thessalon is by the way in chapter 2 and verse 13, we are bound to give thanks always to God for you brethren, be loved of the Lord because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation.

Well the Calvinist usually stops reading right there, but it says from the beginning God has chosen you to salvation through and then it says sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth. So God chooses to save people based upon their belief of the truth. But if you’re a Calvinist, the Calvinist says that God chooses you, saves you, and then you believe as a consequence, and not as a result of anything else. And then thirdly is limited atonement. The Calvinist teaches that Christ only died for the elect or for the believer, and that’s simply just not true.

If you look at 1 John 2 2, it says that Jesus is the propitiation. It means the satisfying sacrifice for our sins. And it says, and not for our sins also, but for the sins of the whole world. So the Bible is very clear that Christ died for everybody, but the Calvinist is wrong in saying that he only died for the elect, the ones that God chose to save. And then of course they say, the eye in tulip stands for irresistible grace that when God has chosen somebody, with disregard to everything that He Comes on him with his grace and his grace is not Resistable and therefore he’s overcome and he becomes saved against his will and of course that is not true either If you read the book of Acts when Stephen was preaching Stephen said to his crowd that he preached to hear that killed him a little bit later

He says in verse 51 you stiff-necked and uncircumcised and heart-nears you do always resist the Holy Spirit So here the Holy Spirit was resisted. They, Calvinist says the Holy Spirit cannot be resisted. The last point of course of Calvinism is the P or the perseverance of the saints. And it’s the eternal security point, but they twisted around because I’m internally secure, not because I persevere, but because Christ perseveres because he lives forever to make good on the promises made.

But a Calvinist will bring works in through the back door by saying, if you’re truly saved. You will find your life. He is improving and changing in an upward way throughout your whole life. The Bible doesn’t teach that either. You have Christians, for example, like a lot whose life went negatively, down, down, down, down, down, lived in the city of Sodom and, obviously, had no testimony. His life winds up in ruin in a cave in a little town named Zor, his two daughters getting drunk and have sex with him and have children by him, his life was a total mess.

And he’s an example of a believer because Peter says in his epistle that Lot was a righteous man not because of his deeds but because of his faith in Christ he was declared righteous and obviously we’ll see Lot in Heaven but he wasn’t the example that a Christian ought to be as far as the Christian life. So basically that’s the answer is the why I reject all five points of Calvinism. I believe that they’re all inconsistent with scripture. So it’s a man-made doctrine.

By the way I have a five CD series just on election and predestination. I go over the hard verses that they will try to bring up to you and that’s available for gift of twenty five dollars and we’ll really help you out there. So I hope that helps you Angel a little bit. Now please join us as we continue the Book of Daniel teaching series from Dr. Hank Lindstrom. So now let’s go back now in verse 13 and 14 of Daniel and see if it doesn’t make more sense. I saw in the night visions and behold one like unto the Son of Man Christ. This will happen after the Rapture in heaven in the tribulation period just before Christ returns to the earth.

And notice here, he comes to the ancient of days as the Father and they brought him near before him and it was given him dominion and glory, market and what? A kingdom. So Christ what? came the first time he died, he paid for our sins, he was rejected, he goes back to heaven, and there he’s going to receive a kingdom, and then he’s going to return. They thought the kingdom would be established at the first coming, he wants to clarify that it’s not going to happen.

He’s going to go back to heaven, and then he’ll receive a kingdom, then he’ll come back, and the kingdom is in the form of the title deed to the earth. So there he receives from the hand of the Father a kingdom that all people, nations and languages should serve him, that’s Jesus. His dominion is an everlasting dominion which shall not pass away in his kingdom, that which shall not be destroyed. So it will never be overthrown by anyone and the kingdom that Christ establishes at the Second Coming will not only last a thousand years on this earth with one challenge at the end by Satan, but then will continue on into eternity and be forever and ever and ever and ever and ever.

And that’s of course what the Bible says in the book Revelation, hand will put it to music, and he shall reign forever and ever and ever. My voice is weak, so I really can’t try to do that musical thing. But no doubt I would like to break into the song because what a wonderful thing that’s going to be when Christ finally establishes this kingdom where the nations will learn war no more. Now verse 15 of Daniel. We have this little interlude where we leap into the future and we see the wrap up and the great white-thrown judgment and then we see Christ at the beginning of the millennium, receiving the kingdom from the Father of the ancient of days, and a kingdom that will never be overthrown.

Verse 15, I, Daniel, was grieved in my spirit in the midst of my body. The visions of my head troubled me. I came near under one of them that stood by and asked him the truth of all this. So he made me know the interpretation of these things. So what he had seen in the vision. The fourth of the four beasts, the four world-ruling powers, then the fifth, the 10 horns, and then the 11th horn coming out of the 10 and becoming dominant and taking over the other 10 by clucking up three by the roots.

He wondered, what does it all mean? Well, here we have it. These great beasts for 17 which are four, are four kings or kingdoms which shall arise out of the earth. And sure enough, these were powers that would arise in the future, as Daniel was shown how the future would unfold. Verse 18, but the saints of the Most High shall take the kingdom and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever. So although he was troubled by all these beasts, which really were under Satan’s control to some degree, as Satan is the God of this world, ultimately the saints, the believers are going to take over the world and they’re going to rule during the millennium.

So the saints of the Most High shall take the kingdom and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever. So the believers will be a part of that and live on into eternity with the Lord forever and ever. Verse 19, he was particularly curious about the fourth beast. Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceedingly dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, whose nails were of brass, which devoured and break in pieces and stamped the residue of his feet.

This, of course, was Rome. Then he wanted to know about the ten horns that were associated with this beast, equivalent to the ten toes of the image that Nebuchadnezzar had dreamed in chapter 2. of the ten horns that were in his head and of the other, which came up the other being the eleventh nation. It says here, he was wondering about that, before whom three fell, even of that horn that had eyes and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout or fat than his fellows.

In other words, he became powerful. This little horn became a big guy on the block. And when the leader of the 11 nations spoke, other nations feared, they trembled. We already see that right now. When the United States speaks, the world is beginning to listen our thing. They’re paying attention. You know, this is the first time this is happening. We are now the undisputed superpower in the world, and we’re watching prophecy unfold. I think we’re getting close to the Lord’s return.

And this is what it’s saying here, this guy is going to have a big mouth. And when he speaks, people are going to listen. He’s going to be the big guy on the block. It says he’ll have a look that is bigger than his fellows. He’s going to be obviously very, very imposing when the head president of the United States speaks the nations begin to listen. That’s happening right Now, verse 21, I beheld, and the same horn made war against the saints and prevailed against them.

In the tribulation period, believers are going to come under attack. And obviously, we already begin to see a turning. Watching the news, the Ten Commandments. I mean, they’re making such a big deal out of it. Tomorrow, the Supreme Court is going to look at this thing, and it really is more and more of turning against Christians and against those who believe in the principles of the Bible. And we have to all just kind of sit back and watch what our Supreme Court will do.

But I can guarantee you, according to the Bible, it’s going to get worse for Christians better for the lost. That’s the way we’re headed. The world is not going to get better. There’s not going to be revival. The Bible says in 2 Timothy 3, 13, evil men will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. And so we find evil in the world will just continue to grow in power. And that’s what’s going to happen. And we as Christians are going to be taken out of the rapture, but then those that become saved after the rapture are going to come under the attack of government.

They’re going to come under the attack of the world, and many will be martyred, and you’ll have to conform if you want to be in favor with the government. You’ll have to take the mark. You’ll have to agree. All right. We find here they make war the same horn, the Antichrist will make war with the saints and prevail against them until when? Verse 22, the ancient of days came and judgment was given to the saints for the most high and the time came that the saints should possess the kingdom.

That’s the second coming and then what happens? Christ will come back and he’ll win the battle against the nations of this world. He’ll establish his kingdom and finally there’ll be peace on earth. It says in verse 23, then or thus he said, the fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon the earth. That’s Rome, which will by be diverse from all kingdoms and shall devour the whole earth and shall tread it down and break it in pieces. Verse 24, the end times the ten horns and the ten horns out of this ancient Roman Empire.

Our ten kings shall arise, I believe they’ve arisen today in this modern world and And another shall arise after them, and we have that little 200-year history, where we’ve come up after them, we’re more powerful than them, and we are going to control them, and we’re living there now. Amazing how we’ve watched here a closer connection between us and Europe all the time, haven’t we? You can get on a plane right here, a block from this church, and fly directly nonstop to Europe.

You can fly to London, you can fly to Germany, you can fly all over to Europe. And notice how Delta flies to most of these European countries. And all of a sudden they can step on an American airline right out of our airport, fly to Europe. The connection is getting closer all the time as we seem to be interacting all the time. whereas our president been talking in Europe as he’s trying to tell him what they need to do.

Alright, so we have here the ten horns out of the kingdom are ten kings that shall arise, another shall arise after them, he shall be diverse from the first, he shall subdue three kings. And I believe that three countries in Europe that will be taken over by the Antichrist and that could happen in a heartbeat. How long do you think it would take for our military to take over the three countries where strongest in Europe. I mean overnight. And then Europe is under our control.

No doubt about it. And we can see how that rapidly back it happened. Thanks for listening to Bibleline, Dr. Hank Lindstrom. That wraps up another edition for today. Be sure to tune in to another edition of Bibleline from Calvary Community Church in Tampa, Florida. As long as you’re thinking in terms of works, you have to wait until after you die, till all the works are added up or wait in the scale, and then it is determined whether you make out or not.

But according to the Bible, it’s not by works. It’s God’s gift that Jesus purchased it by His death at the cross and by His shed blood. And so at the moment you believe you receive everlasting life and it’s a present possession. And so I have eternal life right now. I received it when I was 18. And I trusted Jesus Christ as my only means of reaching heaven. I still possess it and will next week, next year, 10 years from now, 100 years from now, a million years from now, a billion years from now, I’ll still have everlasting life because it’s eternal life.

I don’t know why some people don’t really say what they’re really believing, but a lot of people believe that Christ gives temporary life. some churches they offer a trial period. If you go to some churches they offer probation, not salvation. You see, according to the Bible, it’s eternal life or God chose the wrong words to describe it. Throughout the Bible it’s called eternal life or everlasting life and it’s forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and begins at the moment of belief when you receive everlasting life as a present possession.

And if you believe on Christ is your Savior the word from the Greek means to trust that Christ died and shed his blood and paid your sin debt and full was buried in rose again from the dead. When you trust him you receive it and then you’ll possess it from that moment on forever. How about you? If you believe you can lose it then you’re teaching that Christ only gives temporary life. If you’re teaching that you can lose it then you’re saying that Christ gives you probation, not salvation.

You’re on trial. You are waiting for the results to come in. And that’s not what the Bible teaches at all. The results are already in. Jesus 2000 years ago said it is finished. And that means paid in full. Full satisfaction received for the sin debt. I love that old hymn. Jesus paid it all all to Him. I owe sin had left a crimson but he washed it as wide as snow. Many churches would have to change the words of that hymn and sing, Jesus paid only part.

I’ll pay part myself. Well, I’d hate to be in that boat, because if you paid for part, let me just tell you what that would mean. The Bible says in Romans 6, 23, 623, the wages of sin singular is death. If you paid for just one sin, just one, you’d go to hell. The wages of sin singular is death. You don’t want to pay for one sin. Jesus paid for every sin that you would ever commit in your whole lifetime and there’s one sin only that’s unpardonable.

That’s to reject the provision that God has made for your sin in Christ, that He paid the full and complete payment for your sin. And if you reject Him, and there’s no hope because you’ll stand before God without a Savior, without a provision for your sin. You’ll stand before God in your own good works which are filthy rags in God’s sight and you’ll never be admitted to heaven. Jesus said it very clearly in John 14, 6, I am the way He said, the truth and the life and no man cometh unto the Father but by me.

How are you going to get to heaven? Unless it’s through Christ alone, and His death at the cross of Calvary, and His shed blood, and the fact that He was buried, and that He rose again from the dead, you will not make heaven. It’s that simple. Why not take out of His word and trust Him as your Savior right now? Just tell the Lord in a silent prayer, Lord, I am a sinner. We all are. But I trust Jesus Christ right now as the one who died for me.

He paid for my sin debt and full by his death, and shed blood was buried and rose again from the dead. I trust him to save me to forgive me right now. The moment you do that, you’ve got to have a nose and you say, I’m Dr. Hank Linser. You’ve got to run. Keep looking up. Jesus is coming and we believe He’s coming soon.
