Now, open your Bible to the book of Revelation chapter 6 and join us for Dr. Lynchcombe’s teaching for today. And I beheld a little of Black Horse. Again, the same antichrist as the writer. But I say a Black Horse, and he didn’t set on him.

He had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creature say, a measure of wheat for a penny. The word penny there is the Greek word denariai, which means a full day’s wages. In other words, what we have here is a scale and there’s going to be food shortages. There will be famines and food will be rationed out and it will take a full day’s wage just to get enough wheat to feed your family and apparently you get more barley than you would wheat.

It says here, notice three measures of barley for a penny or a denarii and it says, see that you hurt not the oil and the wine. Apparently the rich will still survive with oil and wine, but the poor will take a full day’s wages just to get enough grain to be able to feed their family. And the balances will be there as they weigh out the food and distribute it. We’ve had that in this country in the past. If If you’re old enough to remember it, they used to have food rationing and you’d go to the food store and you’d have coupons or stamps so that you could get only a certain amount of food for your family.

That’s all they would sell you. And after World War II, that is what happened. And again, in the tribulation period, food will be rationed around the world as there will be famines. Let’s go back to verse 7 now, Matthew 24. What is the next thing that matches up now with the third seal? It says here there shall be what? Famine’s. And that is coming up. I just read on the internet this morning that they’re saying that a plague is about to break out in the Middle East of biblical proportions.

That they’re going to try to prevent this from going to be as it could, but they said it may be that the plague will be blocked out because of the millions and millions of locusts that will come. And we know that, that was one of the plagues back in the Exodus, wasn’t it? Now, if you read the story of the Exodus, the Pharaoh was a type of the Antichrist. Egypt was a picture of the world. The judgments were a picture of the tribulation period.

And one of those judgments that came, which I believe will be repeated certainly in the tribulation period, will be locusts. And food shortage, famine, and food will have to be rationed again. That was an awful time back in ancient history, but it will happen again. So they’re saying that this could be very bad sweeping the entire Middle East. And we’re living… You know, if you were to live in any time in history, wouldn’t you maybe want to live at this time?

Because we’re watching the Bible prophecies unfold before our eyes, and we’re going to escape. The worst is we’re gonna… we’re going to be caught out of the rapture and not be left behind for the terrible time of wrath and trouble and tribulation that will follow. But there will be famines and we’re already seeing how that can happen in the very near future. Let’s look now at the fourth seal, verse 7. And when he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast.

Notice each one of the four living creatures are announcing the four seals as they’re opened and he says, come. In verse 8 I looked and behold a pale horse and his name that sat on him was death and it should read Hades, followed with him. Here again is the Antichrist and as a result of war there will be what? Disease and pestilence that oftentimes follows. As any time you have dead bodies laying out you have the terrible thing of disease that follows and notice here many will be killed with the sword with hunger with death and with the beasts of the earth.

Let’s look back in Matthew 24 and I believe we find a matchup with the fourth seal as well. It says here next there is what pestilence, pestilence, incurable diseases perhaps and already we’ve seen a host of those already come on the world scene. The leading one being AIDS which they say has already killed more than all were killed in the plagues that swept Europe in the dark ages. And apparently, a number of deaths by AIDS will double in the very near future as so many people have the HIV.

Africa has already suffered a great loss. They say that there are 14 million orphans in Africa that have no moms and dads because they’ve died of AIDS. And so the breadwinners, the people in the middle age group are dying left and right from AIDS in Africa. It’s spreading into parts of southern Asia and into Asia and around the world and it certainly has it stopped here. And it takes almost 10 years sometimes forward to incubate in the body to tell the person breaks out with full-blown AIDS.

So perhaps when the tribulation is here that millions will die from that one alone. But we also have Ebola, the West Nile virus. And we have the flesh eating bacteria and all these other kinds of things. And then smart germs so that staff could actually wipe us out if we don’t keep ahead of them with an antibiotic that will take care of some of the common things that we know about. So we’re living in a time that can be frightening and the Bible talks about disease.

It’s so interesting to me because when I was going through high school, we saw them conchirpolio. Smallpox was virtually eliminated from the earth and we were told that science would cure all of our problems and we need not to worry about our future that we could be disease free. Wow, was that a dream that was broken? Because we know today that worse than ever there are dangerous diseases sitting out there, many of which are incurable and what a day we’re living in.

Then it says here, lastly, earthquakes in diverse places. And aren’t we already seeing those things take place? In fact, an earthquake just a couple of weeks ago damaged the dome of the rock, the muslin mosque on top of the temple mount, pretty good damage to the dome. And Kirchon Solomon, he’s so excited, he sent in his email to me, hallelujah, the dome is cracked. He’s salivating at rebuilding the third temple. But there have been stones that have fallen out of the Western wall, right, where the women worship in that area of the wailing wall because of the earthquake.

And some stones out of the Southern wall are cracked developing in the Eastern wall, which are the retaining walls of the Temple Mount platform. And they say that another good shake could bring down the Muslim mosques and prepare the way for the Third Temple to be built on the Temple Mount. Isn’t it interesting that that is the focal point in just last week, right after the worship on Friday. The Arab worshipers on the Temple Mount ran over to the top of the Whalewall and through stones dawn upon Jewish worshipers.

And then the Israeli police went up on top and stun grenades were shot off in tear gas and people were killed and it’s the focal point I’ll tell you. And we’re watching it all take place and Jesus of course will come back in ruling rain over the earth from Jerusalem and from a third temple that will be rebuilt. Now notice in verse 8, Jesus gives us a title for these first three and a half years, and I believe that what we have here is the first four seals running out across the first three and a half years of the tribulation period and that Jesus calls it the beginning of sorrows.

Now, dead center in the middle, we have an event that takes place. But I want you to first look at the word then in verse 9. The word then in verse 10. The word then in verse 16. The word then in verse 21. When does that occur? When is the key word? Verse 15 tells us. 15 says when. Mark that. It’s a time word that tells us when these four thens will take place. So when you therefore shall see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place.

There is a holy place now. But when the third temple is rebuilt, the antichrist will go back into it or go into it and desecrate it with his image. Daniel 9, 27 says, it happens in the midst of the seven years, dead center in the middle. So that marks the beginning of the second half of the tribulation period. And also we’re going to find that the fifth seal identifies with what we read here as what happens after the middle.

When the Antichrist desecrates the temple with his image, then what will happen verse 9, then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted and shall kill you and you shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. Well, it’s interesting that Jewish people have been very worried as the Passion has has been released, then it might cause a greater hatred toward them. And it’s interesting that antisemitism has already been rising. And they might be right. It could. I don’t know.

It doesn’t seem that Christians would do that because most Christians say, you know, that doesn’t change my view because we know that Jesus is God and He’s the Savior and He came and He gave His life. But there are many who perhaps will use that as they have in the past, as an excuse to hate the Jew and to kill the Jew. Thank you for joining us. My question, I heard you speak in a while back about during the thousand year millennium that people were going to still need to be getting saved.

That’s because the ones who enter are all saved, but they’re still in their mortal bodies and they’re going to have children and their children will be related back to Adam and have a sin nature and need salvation. And so, yes indeed, there will be those who need to get saved. And apparently at the end of the thousand year reign of Christ, Satan will be loosed and he’ll round up a huge crowd of people that are unsaved by the time of thousands of years has expired.

That he’ll round them up and come up with one final battle against God and of course he loses and then he’s cast into hell. But apparently he ended the most ideal conditions with Christ visibly ruling on the earth. and bound up and as angels bound up and the bottom was pit in the heart of the earth even at that there will be those who will reject Christ. Well see my question is this, I mean at me being a believer we’re going to be raptured out, tribulation and then we’re going to come back at the thousand year reign of Christ.

That’s correct. Now we will be ruling in reigning with Christ but I suspect and I can’t prove and it’s just a guess, but I think we’ll be invisible to the ones that are actually in their mortal bodies that actually get saved in the tribulation period and are the real subjects who enter into the Millennial Kingdom when Christ comes back and he says to those that are saved, the sheep nations come inherit the kingdom, prepared for you from the foundation of the earth, and we’re going to come back and rule and reign.

Angels right now are ministering all the time and carrying out tasks for God, and yet they’re invisible to us. That’s what I was confused about. I thought we were going to be there with him with all those people. We will, but I think we’ll be like angels right now or ministering to us and carrying out tasks for God, but they’re not visible to us. I think I really feel like we’re going to be invisible during that time and that we will be there really in reigning, but we’re not going to be interfering in the sense that we’ll be seen or cause a problem for those that are still in their mortal bodies that are carrying out their lives.

so we won’t be there having families and and and and did so i don’t see that’s my next question is that what point in time is not going to make it so that because we are right now the believer the hardest thing is it’s like the rest of my life fighting the set off and try not to send the rest of my life and at one point time he’s supposed to make it so that we don’t have to fight with that anymore well you’re right in Matthew 22 30 the bible says for we as believers once we die that we will not marry nor will we be given marriage so there’s not going to be any procreation for us and we won’t be married we’re gonna be all brothers and sisters and one big family the family of god so is that the point in time when he takes our signature away then at the moment of

death that you’re you’re ended with the your sin nature yet or let’s say that he came back right now and raptured us same thing you get a new body and the old nature’s gone and you won’t send anymore you’ll not be capable of sending anymore boy that said the really good shiver right down my spine every time I hear you say something like that okay Mike we got a run you were running out of time my question I appreciate that thank you very much thank you and that was Mike we’re gonna go to Russ down in Sarasota Florida and Russ welcome to Bibleline great to hear from you today sir I’d like to know if there is any verses in the Bible to be for the unborn, unborn child, what happens to them when they go to heaven or whatever.

What happens to believers when they go to heaven? Unborn child. My wife and I have experienced five, but I’m just going to say this. Well, let me tell you that they are in heaven and they will be given brand new bodies and they will be adult in appearance. everybody in heaven will get a body that will be a body like Christ’s body which was in the prime of life about 33 years of age. But the verse I’d like to give to you is 2 Samuel 1223.

David had a son and it became ill as an infant and at seven days old the child died. And David had passed and wept to all the child was yet alive praying that God might spare the child’s life. But after the child died, David said, and this is 2 Samuel 1223, this child of mine shall not return to me, but I shall go to be with him. Now we know David went to heaven. You know, in the 23rd Psalm, David trusted in Christ the good shepherd that gave his life for the sheep.

He said, the Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want. Verse 6 says, surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. So obviously David said that he knew that whenever he died he would be reunited with his child that had gone ahead of him. So we know that all children under the age of accountability whenever they die will go straight to heaven to be with the Lord.

And we’ll see him again. And it doesn’t matter whether they’re born or unborn. That’s right. And unborn in the womb or after they have come out of the womb and as long as they’re under the age of accountability they go straight to heaven. Samuel 1223. So if you have a miscarriage or an abortion, that’s the wonderful blessing about abortions, even though abortion is such a tragedy, is that God is divine plan. Every one of those children will be in heaven.

Well Russ, I hope that helps you. Yes, it does. Thank you very much. You’re very welcome. I know that’s going to be comforting to hear because we can really rest assured second Samuel 1223. Marked up. Thank you Russ and that was Russ in Sarasota, Florida and certainly when you lose a child that’s a heavy experience and it’s a blessing to know that they’ll be in heaven. Now we’re going to go to Jose in St. Petersburg and Jose welcome to Bibleline.

Good morning. Hey, how are you doing? Good. That’s great. Hey, The reason for my call is I heard you talking about the Sabbath and you know I used to be in the world wide chairs for God as you know. And they kept the Sabbath and it was a mandatory teaching at the time. But since I have gotten saved since I’ve received Christ, I’ve entered into His rest, which is being relieved from the works of the law, having to keep the work of the law.

That’s the true rest that you receive in Christ. I love I love Matthew with the eleven twenty eight which basically says that crisis coming to me all you that are heavy laden and i will give you rest exactly it’s rest it comes as a result of the work that christ did and that that’s twenty four seven you know three hundred sixty five days of the year for eternity not just not just on one day once you receive christ you are in the Sabbath or rest absolutely great point i’m so glad you shared that with us today many of people lower trying to keep the commandments or keep the Sabbath to be eligible to enter heaven and unfortunately that’s a lot that’s not the case at all and you you’ll notice that all most of these organizations that tell you to keep the Sabbath whether they

be seven day or or will carry pick the old testament law so that only the things that favor their particular organization they tell you to keep and the other ordinance is that they will now you don’t really have to keep those uh… because that’s more Jewish but if you give you uh… break one part of the law that’s it absolutely you know jesus said in uh… john seven nineteen did not moses give you the law and yet none of you none of you have kept it nobody’s ever kept the, so if you’re trying to say by the law you’re not going to make it.

And I don’t know if anybody’s really truly kept the Sabbath. I mean, it’s so strict that, you know, so all these seven dead men has been parked real close before sundown close to the their church because they’re not allowed to drive and they’re not allowed. You know, I attended last year some just for my personal benefit in Orthodox synagogue and these people got there before sundown and then if they arrived later they were walking from their home or from wherever they were staying, they walked and then they were allowed to walk too far either.

That’s all part of the observance of the Sabbath. It was interesting to watch Orthodox Jews attempting the best they could to observe the Sabbath and then i know there was some lights left on after the seven begun that they wanted to turn off and the rabbi asked me as a gentle if i turn off because if he turned off he’d be violating the scripture but i was a gentle i could do it you know god is love he does not impose on us unnecessarily and you know and and you know that shows how distant these organizations in the uh…

you know are from god that they have not received that rest in christ and that’s the that’s the big problem they haven’t received him exactly well the law gives us the standard refter is righteous is god-in or heaven and none of us are but the righteousness of god is credited to the account of the one who believes on christ who kept the law christ was sinless and he’s the only one who’s ever walked the surface of the earth that never committed a single act of sin When we trust him, his righteousness is imputed to our account.

The Bible says, and that is the basis of our being able to enter heaven. We are made eligible because we are seen by God as righteous as Christ. Exactly. Amen. Thanks Jose. Okay. You know the Bible tells us about the earth being created and we believe created perfectly and inhabited. And the Bible then tells about a judgment that occurred that destroyed all life on the planet earth. And that judgment is recorded for us in Genesis 1-2 where the earth became without form and void. And darkness was upon the face of the deep. And that, we believe, was the result of a judgment that the original earth was perfect, inhabited, plants, animals, dinosaurs, and all of God’s angels lived on this earth.

And Lucifer ruled over them. Now we know that apparently that went on for millions and millions and millions and millions of years. And then Satan, who is called Lucifer at that point, decided that he wanted to become God and overthrow God. Look at so interesting, in Isaiah 14, if you have your Bible, turn there and you’ll find that all the angels lived on the earth, Lucifer lived on the earth. Lucifer was given the title of the God of this world and noticed God knew his thoughts, so this rebellion didn’t get too far.

It says in verse 13 about Lucifer, For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven. Well, obviously, Lucifer was not in heaven if he was going to ascend there. Secondly, he says, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God. Apparently he’s on the earth here below the stars, the visible universe that we can see with our naked eye. And then thirdly it says here in Isaiah 14 and verse 13, I will also sit upon the Mount of the congregation in the sides of the North.

There’s an interesting revelation to us, isn’t it? Because it really hints here that heaven is in the North in our universe. Did you know that the book of Job written 3500 years ago tells us about a void in the North in our universe where there are no stars? Is this the place where heaven is? Let me quote that verse for you. Job chapter 26 verse 7 says that God stretches out the north over the empty place, the empty place.

Now nobody knew anything about this until rather recently. In fact it was the 200-inch telescope at Mount Palomar, California where they first discovered this void in the north and the universe where there are no stars. And they say that it is so large that it could contain 2,000 Milky Way’s. No Hershey bars. It’s easy. But you know, the Milky Way galaxy is 100,000 light years across. That means light traveling at the speed of 186,000 miles per second would take 100,000 years to get from one end of the Milky Way galaxy to the other.

And therefore, this is a pretty big expanse, isn’t it? It’s quite large. And this void in the north is large enough to hold 2,000 Milky Way galaxies. Pretty incredible. The Milky Way contains so many stars. I climbed Mount Sinai over there in the Middle East, and it’s 8,000 feet high. We began our ascent about two in the morning and we got on camels about the 5,000 foot level. There we rode up to the top, not to the entire top, but to about the 7,000 foot level.

There was a parking lot for camels and I called it Camelot. We left our camel there and hoped that we’d find that camel when we came back down. The last thousand feet you have to walk or climb on your own. Wow with the rarefied air that was quite an ordeal and got up there and it was pitch black and I had the most amazing experience I’ve ever had. I saw as I looked up above at the Milky Way. It looked like somebody had taken a great big container of milky just through it straight up at the sky.

I mean, we’re talking about white, white, white, just so many stars, and it looked like milk. And I had never experienced that before in my life. Wow, no wonder they called it the Milky Way. But then, because we’re at 8,000 feet high, the highest mountain peak around, I could look around and see stars in every direction, just as many, in every direction I looked. Anyway, we are going to go back to the stations that have been on break and did the second half hour of Bible.

Now let’s return to our question and answer segment and then we’ll hear more Bible teaching from Dr. Hank Lindstrom. We’re going to go to Adam in Tampa, Florida. Adam is on the line. Welcome to Bibleline. Yes, sir. Hey, I have a question about witnessing eventually coming to Jewish people. Sure. And the way in which I want you to frame your answer is Scripture and the Old Testament outside of Isaiah that points to Christ. All right, there’s a lot of them.

We’ve got a laminated foldout that has a hundred prophecies fulfilled by Jesus Christ in the Old Testament. That’s a wonderful outline of a lot of the passages. But you know, I like a couple of the simple verses where it says in Psalm 2 that if you trust in the Son, which is the Son of God. He is described in chapter 2. There you have Jesus and if you trust in Him, then God is going to let you into heaven.

Proverbs chapter 30 verses 4 and 5 says that the one who puts their trust in God’s Son. Amazingly there you have Christ again mentioned. It says that He becomes a shield or a protector to you that Obviously you become saved and are secure once you trust in Christ as your Savior. And then of course there are so many passages that clearly tell about Christ’s death for us. And the 22nd Psalm, you see the whole story of what happened on the cross depicted even including the fact that his hands and feet were pierced.

Psalm 22 16 a thousand years before Christ dies on the cross of Calvary. And then in chapter 23, David puts his trust in Christ and says, the Lord is my shepherd, therefore I shall not want. And says in verse 6 that he would one day dwell in the house of the Lord forever. So there’s lots and lots of passages that you can utilize. And of course in the New Testament, Peter summarizes it in one grand verse, Acts 10, 43 where he says to Yeshua or in the English, Jesus, give all the prophets witness, that’s all the Old Testament writers, that whosoever anyone that would believe in his name, Yeshua or Jesus should receive the remission of their sins.

And Yeshua occurs in the Old Testament over 130 times. You can use a concordance and find that out for yourself, but it’s amazing. So he’s all the way through the Old Testament and no doubt the Bible teaches clearly in Old Testament that as it says in Joel 2 32, whose whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Peter next to says that that Lord that you would call upon is Jesus the one who came and died on the cross of Calvary was buried in rose again from the dead that when you call upon him he saved you.

Hope that helps a little bit. It’s a little simple answer. Yes sir, and just to further that, could you just from your experience alone, I know that you witnessed two Jewish people and they brought them to Christ. Could you just give me some maybe just a quick need to where they, how exactly would they go around this? Because you say that it’s showing that it’s a blunt, you know, right straight forward, but how did they go around it? Well they did not have the scripture.

Jewish people don’t know their scriptures at all and they’re unfamiliar with it. But you know, I like Leviticus 1711. It says, the life of the flesh is in the blood and I’ve given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls for it is the blood that makes an atonement for your soul. So I like to ask the Jewish person to ponder on this, how can you possibly have an atonement for your soul if you don’t have a blood sacrifice?

Ask them when was the last time they offered one? they haven’t offered one at all. No Jewish person today is offering a blood sacrifice. That’s because Jesus came and offered His blood. And so in order to be saved, they have to have a blood sacrifice and they better start looking around because unless they trust the Messiah who shed His blood for their sins, they’re not going to make heaven. So that’s a powerful, powerful statement. And then Daniel 926 tells us the Messiah would come and die Not for himself but for the sins of the world.

And then Jerusalem and the temple in Jerusalem would be destroyed. Well everybody knows that happened in 8070. So I usually ask a Jewish person who could possibly have been the Messiah who was here and died to pay for sin prior to the destruction of Jerusalem in 8070. And I do a little drum roll and give them a few seconds to try to answer. But there’s only one answer. You know, Jesus is that answer. There’s nobody else out there that could have been the one that would have fulfilled that that died as a payment for sin Prior to 80 70 Jesus is the Messiah So those are some powerful ones and there are many more that you can add to your little list It gets bigger and bigger and that little laminate thing we have here that has a hundred prophecies fulfilled and is very powerful

Barry, Florida. Where’s that at? About in between Daytona and Orlando gotcha. Okay. Well, welcome to the program well thanks i want to tell you uh… god bless you you’ve got a great show and i think you’re very discerning you point out a lot of aspect of the bible i can refer to you the modern-day jay burn and the ghee had a very soft touch to your explanation what’s a wonderful compliment i he’s one of my heroes uh… big fat big fan of mine uh…

i want to say that some of these scholars that they they seem to not understand something when you become a christian it’s a hard walk and you know it’s a time process and it take your you know we’re in the flesh and we’re gonna send the only difference is you know when you’re a true christian you fight that battle every day and uh… it’s not just a you know when you become a christian become a super glorified person and you’re gonna do right all the time it just doesn’t happen that way you’re exactly right and and they get mistaken about that they think you know all these other things make make a difference but it’s not it’s our fight it’s our cross we have to pick up that cross and carry it daily we’re gonna send.

We’re in the flesh. That was my first point, but actually I got another question for you. I’m disabled and I spend a lot of time reading and watching the Christian shows and the Christian radio programs, but I have a kind of a problem. I see a lot of probably 90% of the shows that are on television that they have some very good programming you know from time to time and they actually carry some some good preachers but i see them offering like all’s and waters and uh…

cloths for miraculous uh… thing that i do believe that you know the lord he’ll send it to his his choice to be healed and we don’t but uh… i i i just have a hard time with some of these some of these things that they offer uh… for sale or for gift or whatever but uh… i don’t want to know your comment by agree with you i think we’re getting into where is almost like magic or witchcraft and and uh…

sound doctrine is going out the wind of people not paying attention to the bible obviously those are ways that are gimmicks to make money but i believe in they just don’t know that it’s not there it seems to me that the people are uh… maybe it’s just me but it seems to me that the people are spending more time looking for these quick fixes and uh… miracles in the are actually studying the word of god and getting into you know his power and their focus comes on those things that they’re getting rather than christ himself it said i remember uh…

early on as a young believer there was one of the great healers that would do ten meetings all across america and when he bought a new tent he cut the tent into small little squares and he offered them off for a lot of money per square And he said that tent fabric was saturated with the Holy Spirit because he called the Holy Spirit down through that tent so many times that that fabric was saturated. So if you took that and put it in your pantry, you’d have no food problems.

If you put it where you did your accounting, you’d have no financial problems. And if you laid it on a part of your body where you had a healing that needed to be done, and the Holy Spirit in that piece of fabric would do it, and it’s just a lot of nonsense. And I think they’re deceiving people with those kind of things. I think we need to go back to the Bible. I agree with you, but kind of my dilemma is I like to hear some of the preachers that I see come on and Not all of them, I don’t buy into all them because there’s a lot of prosperity, preachers, and I believe the Lord blessed me, but it’s because of his choice and not my efforts.

But I don’t know. I’m kind of in between on supporting some of these programs or some of these program carriers because of that. Exactly. I think you have to be very discerning. God is going to hold you accountable as to how you do invest your gifts, and you want to invest them where God’s Word is honored and is proclaimed truly and results are taking place. So we should just keep a better eye on our money and where we’re sending it.

Well, you know, in 2nd John 11, this one woke me up a long time ago. It says, if we support or bid them God’s speed that don’t have correct doctrine, then God’s going to hold us accountable as partaker of their evil deeds. So that’s a negative. So I said, man, I’m going to be very careful where I give my money because I don’t want God to say, you know, you lame brain, you are helping support somebody who’s got a bad message.

And I’m going to have to do a negative on your investment there for that. I think we need to be wise investors. I’m just afraid maybe some of the people nowadays are falling away from the real church and are going into this mystical avenue out there that, you know, if you do all these things and you get this and that’s not what it’s all about. We get our rewards later. That’s right. You’re absolutely right and I agree with you.

And it’s going to get worse. The Lord says the last days would be marked by departing from sound doctrine and people just turning away from the Bible and being turned on to fiction. And you can see it happening because I guess people are lazy. They don’t want to go to the Bible and read what it says for themselves. And so they’re listening to whatever voice tickles their ear and that’s what the The Bible said would happen in the last days.

I agree with you. I believe it’s coming at us. Well, God bless you and thank you so very much for taking the call. Thank you, Gene. But in any case, they’re going to be delivered up and many will be martyred during the tribulation period right after the middle when the Antichrist desecrates the temple. And if you look over now to Revelation 6, notice if you will with me verse 9, it says, when he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were what? claim. So we find it matches up doesn’t it the fifth seal matches up this terrible slaughter that will happen after the middle of the tribulation.

Those who were slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held, they cried with a lot of voice saying how long, oh Lord, holy and true, dust on a judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth. And white robes were given unto every one of them and it was said unto them that they should rest yet for a what? A little season. The little season is this remaining time of the second half of the tribulation.

That remaining time is called a little season. And so here they are martyred. They’ll have to wait till the end of the tribulation period when Christ returns and then He’ll destroy all the unbelievers and take vengeance on those that did not know the Lord as their Savior. So we have here a matchup again and these are then going to rest a little season, verse 11, until their fellow servants also and their brethren that they should be killed as they were should be fulfilled.

So we know that many will be killed. A second Holocaust will happen in the tribulation period and that I believe is the the fifth seal. The sixth seal, I believe, is the battle of Armageddon. And that happens just before Jesus comes back at the end. If you read a lot of books on Revelation, most people get the chronology all mixed up. And what they often do is they say there are seven seals and then following that are seven trumpets and then following that are seven bold judgments.

And yes, they are laid out in the Bible to describe them in that way. But actually, I believe all the sixes match up. The sixth seal and the sixth trumpet and the sixth bold judgment are all the same event. event. They’re all Armageddon. And so we can connect it up and say that we do have a way now figuring things out because we know that the sixes all line up and they’re the same event. Then as we go back, let me kind of help you now with what I believe to be true and then we’ll try to prove it as we go through the book of Revelation.

But the trumpets, I believe span the second half of the tribulation period. And then the bold judgment span just the last months or the last year of the tribulation. And what we have is a sweeping across the tribulation filling in more details. You’ve seen overlays where maybe you have a map and then you have an overlay that will put down the rivers and then the mountains and then the cities. So in a way, the book of Revelation kind of like sweeps across, then we have another overlay that lays down and gives us more detail than another one.

And so we wind up with the sixth seal and the sixth trumpet and the sixth bold judgment, all being Armageddon. And of course, therefore the sevens will all line up. That is the second coming, which is so tight on the Battle of Armageddon because Christ comes back and interrupts Armageddon and comes back and defeats the armies and rules on this earth as king for a thousand years. So the sevens are also lining right up as the second coming. So let’s take a look then at the sixth seal, which we believe is the end of the tribulation period.

And it says, I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal and lo, there was a great earthquake. We know there will be a tremendous earthquake in Israel. The Bible says that in other places that Christ will come back and shake the earth. So perhaps the whole earth will shake. Simultaneous with the earthquake that’s mentioned here, it seems to imply that in other places. The sun became as black as sackcloth of hair and the moon became as blood. Verse 13, the stars of heaven fell under the earth.

Obviously, we have what we call shooting stars, which are small objects that come to the atmosphere and burn up and we say that they’re like a shooting star, I believe this might refer to missiles coming in from outer space. If you know anything about intercontinental ballistic missiles, they launch and they actually leave the Earth’s atmosphere and then they re-enter and hit their targets. And so it will appear, I believe in Armageddon, when all the nuclear missiles are released like shooting stars, they come back into our atmosphere and destroy the cities around the earth.

We have more detail later in the book of Revelation which will hold off on that. But I believe that this is probably what it’s referring to. Even as a fig tree, cast through untimely figs when it is shaken of a mighty wind. In verse 14 it says, the heaven departed as a scroll, it is rolled together. What is interesting is that when an atomic bomb goes off, and you’ve seen the movies of the testing out there in our country as they tested the atomic bomb years ago, there’s a shockwave that goes out, but also the wind is so pushed out so fast that it’s compressed upon itself and it rolls up upon itself like a scroll, and it creates that great big mushroom cloud that you’ve seen so many times.

And so it gives a description here, I believe, of missiles coming in and how that the air is compressed upon itself and is rolled up like a scroll upon itself. And then it says every mountain and island were moved out of their places. We’ve never had the capability of being able to do that until now. But today we know that a mountain can be blown apart and just disappear. An island can disappear and be blown up. And so exactly this is what will happen when the missiles strike and it will be worldwide.

And then the leaders, the rich and the powerful, the kings of the earth are 15 and the great men. And the rich men of the earth here. And chief captains in the mighty men and every bondmen and every free men, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains. You know our leadership. Have a place to go in the mountains of Virginia, haven’t they? All carved out where they can survive supposedly nuclear war. The president and our Congress will be swept away into this underground stronghold.

We have our military dug into the mountains out there in Colorado. And they can run the war from underground even when everybody else is being wiped out. And the president can fly around on his airplane and avoid it, hopefully, and still maintain the war command from his Air Force One. It’s an interesting world, but so is true in Russia. Russia has an amazing system of underground tunnels that rush away their leadership 25 miles outside of Moscow, where they are going to be apparently safe underground.

And other leaders around the world have their holes dug. Saddam didn’t get to one of his good ones. He got that little spider hole that he crawled into. But they’re going to crawl on the holes and they’ll be trying to save their lives from what will take place on the surface of the earth. And then it says they’ll save the mountains into the rocks, fall on us and hide us from the face of Him that siteth on the throne and from the wrath of the lamb.

Wow, they’re not going to be able to hide from Jesus. And when He comes back, He’ll find them and He’ll destroy every unbeliever on the face of the earth. Can you imagine? People will try to hide from God. So once the Armageddon battle begins, people will run to their shelters, but then all of a sudden they find that Jesus comes back and they’ll try to hide from Him and they won’t be able to escape. Verse 17 says, for the great day of His wrath is come.

And that’s when Jesus comes back and all of His wrath and He comes back to destroy the unbelievers on the earth. And it says in verse 17, Who shall be able to stand when that happens? And the answer is only the believers. Only the believers will survive. Only the believers will be able to stand. Every unbeliever will not be able to stand. They’ll be cut down by Christ. And they’ll be destroyed and killed. And no unbelievers will live to enter into the thousand-year reign of Christ.

But then, because we’re at 8,000 feet high, the highest mountain peak around, I could look around and see stars in every direction, just as many in every direction I looked. But what was so interesting, normally when you look up at the sky, you’re looking over houses or over the tree line or over other obstacles, but for the first time in my life, I could actually look down below the horizon and see stars below the horizon.

The horizon just as many as I was seeing up above my head. I Had chill bumps all over dumb arms and legs. I just couldn’t get over it I said I feel like I’m in outer space. I feel like I’m in a space capsule. I feel like I’m observing the universe from outer space because I could see stars in every direction and even down below My feet down below the level of the horizon That was a phenomenal thing, and I’d never seen so many stars in my life.

Well, we waited for the sun to come up, and what a beautiful thing it was to see the sun come up over the mountains there of the wilderness, and this desert wilderness where Moses was with the children of Israel, and we, of course, did find our camels and get back down. But you know, there is one place, according to the Bible, where there are no stars, Job 26, 7, it says, He stretches out the north over the empty place and hangeth the earth upon nothing.

It appears that heaven is in the north, and here this verse Satan says that He wanted to go to the north in our universe to actually sit upon the mountain of the congregation in the sides of the north, implying this corridor with sides where there are no stars in the north of the universe. Look at verse 14 now, Isaiah chapter 14 and verse 14, it says, I will ascend above the heights of the clouds. Apparently Lucifer was on the surface of the earth beneath the clouds.

As he tells us, he’s going to ascend above the height of the clouds. So he’s below the clouds, below the planetary heavens that we can be with our eyes. He’s got his sights on heaven itself, and he is looking to sit in the north in this place where God himself rules the universe. And we find lastly, he says, in verse 14, I’ll be like the most high. He wanted to be God. And of course, God knew these things, and he cast Satan and the angels that followed him back down to the earth.

And he also judged the earth, and the earth became without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep. I believe the fossil remains that we have in the earth today are the results of that judgment upon the earth. And we have petroleum oil that is the fossilized remains of animal life. And coal, they fossilized remains of plant life. All of these are evidences of a judgment that came upon this earth. And these things are trapped beneath the earth and are used today as our fossil fuels to fuel our world, our modern world today.

When you drive your car, you’re using fossilized animal remains from, I believe, the original creation. Isn’t that amazing? Well, the Bible is quite clear that Satan is still the God of this world, and it tells us a lot of different things that we wouldn’t otherwise know. Why was Satan here? Why was he motivated to get Adam and Eve to fall? The reason why is he was replaced now by Adam and Eve, and so he wanted to cause Adam and Eve to fall.

He’s in the garden and he immediately tries to become Adam and Eve to get them to sin and come under God’s curse. Fascinating stuff, but we’re going to go to the phone lines. I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom.
