And we hope that you will give us a call and let us know what is going on as you can give us a question off here or you can give us a question on here but we certainly are looking forward to being with you each and every day here on Bible. And thanks for tuning in. All right, we are live here from Tampa, Florida, and we’re gonna get into the Bible for a few minutes, and then we’re gonna go ahead and take those calls.

So let me know that you are listening by calling in and giving your question over the air, and we’ll try to get that answered. Back in the Old Testament, the prophet Zachariah, foretells the in-time prophecies and says that in verse 2, behold I make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about when they shall be in siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. This is exactly what we see today. All the countries that surround Israel are basically enemies of Israel, and the phrase cup of trembling from the Hebrew means a cup of intoxication.

That the countries around Israel would be intoxicated with Jerusalem, and obviously that’s what we see today. All the Arab countries want to make Jerusalem their capital, and they want to see the Jewish people, of course, destroyed, and we’re excited but that we’re living in these times. Israel obviously has some bad days ahead and we are not happy for what they’re going to be going through. Yet through that millions of Jews are going to get saved. We know after the Rapture going to tribulation period.

But Jerusalem and what happens there is going to be a problem for the entire world. says in verse 3, and in that day, will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people, all the people that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, the Bible says, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. That’s exactly what’s going to happen in Armageddon. The whole world will come to war in the Middle East, and all those that are engaged in that war will be cut in pieces, and they’ll be destroyed.

In fact, one-third of the world’s population will be destroyed as a result. Incredible, isn’t it? It’s a scary, scary time ahead, but we’re leaving. If you’re a believer at the rapture and will not be here for that awful tribulation period, and what happens at the end of it, seven years after the rapture, when the Lord will come back and we find that the Armageddon occurs and a third of the world’s population is destroyed. We’re going to go to the firm lines and we’re going to go also to answering the all fair questions here in a minute.

I’m Dr. Englund from Mrs. Bibleline and we are going to go to Tony in Richmond, Virginia and he says, the book of Romans is confusing. Can you explain it as an outline? What is it all about? Well, obviously this is one of the most incredible books in the New Testament 16 chapters, Long Tony, and it talks about the gospel that is the power of God into salvation. Romans 1 16 is a key initial verse. It says I’m not ashamed of the gospel of Christ.

For it the gospel, the good news of the death, the burial, resurrection of Christ is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believe it. When you believe the gospel you become saved and that’s what this book is all about. In the first eight chapters it details what the gospel is and what it is not. And we are excited about that wonderful gospel as it is detailed in all those chapters and how it’s not of works. It’s the gift of God.

Chapters 9, 10, 11 are parenthetical and talk about God’s plan for the Jewish people. It talks about three different groups, the Jews, the Gentiles, and the Church. And the Jews are somewhat on the sideline waiting for this age to end. And when the fullness of the Gentiles has come in, which is when this age is concluded, then of course God will go back to dealing with the Gentiles. Chapters 12 through 16 go on with the Christian life and how we are to live so that we might be effective in spreading that wonderful gospel.

And that’s, of course, basically a brief outline of the book of Romans. Off the air, Francis in Richmond, Virginia calls in and says a couple is married, then they separate, and then they remarriate each other again. Is this a sin? I don’t believe so at all. If a couple has come apart and they want to get back together and remarried, that’s fine. There’s nothing against that in the scripture. Thank you for calling in Francis from Richmond, Virginia. So that is one of the all-fear questions.

If you’d like to call in with a question, offer or be live on the air with us, call in at 1-800-576-3771. 1-800-576-3771. So let me just say that we’re living in a great time, and this year could be the year that Jesus would return and catch us out at the Rapture. The Rapture is an event which if you are living when Christ returns, you’ll be part of a group that will never, ever die. That’s exciting, isn’t it? So in other words, those who are living when the Rapture happens will be caught up, meet the Lord in the air, be transformed into their new body on the way up and be forever with the Lord.

And that’s something I’m looking forward to. I don’t believe you have to be too healthy to live to when the Rapture is gonna happen because I think it’s that close. And so we need to be alert to the fact that Christ is coming and live in that expectancy because that creates a real excitement in your life every day and the Bible tells us that we should be looking and watching for the return of Christ when he shouts up we go and will be transformed into our new bodies on the way up and that is exciting.

So I’m looking forward to that and I’m going to meet you in the air if you’re a believer If you’re not a believer, then you’ll be left behind for the tribulation period. And that’s not going to be fun. That will be the worst time, the darkest hours that the world has ever experienced in all of history. And the Antichrist will be empowered during that time. It’ll be a horrible time to be living. Yet there will be millions that will get saved during that time, and that is, of course, good news that people will get saved.

And those that survive that are saved will live into the Millennial Kingdom and rule and reign with Christ for a thousand years. The phone number here at Bibleline is 1-800-576-3771. 1-800-576-3771. Give us a call. We’d love to hear from you. If you have a question, again, you can call in at 1-800-576-3771. And if you have an offer question, you can call in and just leave it off here, and we’ll try to get to it as we can. And we’ll, of Of course, answer that and you’ll be able to hear it later as we get to those questions and hopefully we can do that.

We had a question yesterday that I don’t know if we fully answered for the caller who left it off air, but in Hebrews chapter 3, these passages are considered difficult. I have a 10 hour CD series on the Hebrews that we did that is excellent while we deal with all these so-called hard questions, but it talks here about believers not hardening their hearts against the Lord as the believers did that came out of Egypt. It says in verse 12, and this was the question verse, Hebrews chapter 3 verse 12, where it He says, take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God.

What happened back there in the wilderness is although this was a redeemed people delivered out of Egypt by the blood of the Passover Lamb, a picture of Christ dying for our sins at Calvary. They obviously murmured and complained and the Lord was grieved with that generation and they provoked the Lord in the wilderness and God said that they would not enjoy the promised land, which is a picture of the victorious Christian life. They wondered in the wilderness for 40 years until that whole generation died out.

And obviously none of them got to enter into that wonderful victory that the Christian can have. You know, most people think that the promised land is a picture of heaven, it’s not. It’s a picture of the victorious Christian life. Yes, there are struggles. Yes, there are battles to be fought, but the Lord gives victory. And that’s what is talking about how that they obviously did not believe that God would give them victory. And so they all died out in the wilderness is telling us Exhort one another daily verse 13 of chapter three of Hebrews While it is called today lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin So it’s talking about don’t let your heart get hardened as a believer and miss out on the rewards the blessings and the joy that come by having the Lord guide your life and giving you

victory in your Christian life and And so it’s never talking here about loss of salvation, which is impossible. Once you get saved, you cannot be lost. You are saved forever. And that, of course, is what the Bible teaches from the beginning to the end. There’s never been a person who has ever been saved that has ever been lost. Once you get saved, you are saved forever. You can never be lost. That’s clear from so many verses. Jesus said in John 6, 37, him that come to me I will in no wise cast out.

Then again, he says in John 6, 39, that he would not lose one person that has come to him, but raised them up again at the last day. Once you become saved, you are stuck. That doesn’t mean you have a license to sin because you will be chastened or disciplined if you’re delinquent. And certainly you’ll be held accountable for reward or loss of reward at the Church’s Museum of Christ. But salvation is eternal. It’s forever and ever and ever and ever and can never be lost.

And so if you are wrestling with that or if your church teaches you can lose your salvation, that’s a major error. If you believe you can lose it. Then you’re probably not saved because the person who believes that they can lose it is really saying that they’re trusting in How they are going to live their life to be able to get to heaven ultimately and that makes themselves the Savior not Christ and They will not be saved and they’ll not inner heaven So it’s very very important to get this question resolved from the scripture because the scriptures are the authority not me nor any denomination or organization or any person on this earth.

The word of God is the final authority. The Bible makes it very, very clear that once you trust the Lord, you are saved forever and ever and ever. If you have not trusted Christ as you’re saved, Christ. As you’re saved, you need to do that. But if you’ve trusted Christ, plus you believe in works, which is what if you believe you can lose your salvation means, then you will be forever and ever lost. You’ll never be able to enter heaven.

And that’s, of course, major because you don’t want to die without Christ, or you’ll not make heaven at all. And that would really be a tragedy if that happened to you. Romans 5-1 says, therefore being justified by faith, we have, which is present tense, peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. So once you trust Christ, you don’t have to wait till after you die to know whether you’re going to heaven or not. It says here you can know that we have peace, present tense with God through what Christ did for us at the Cross of Calvary.

We have Sally in Lansing, Michigan, calling in, and she says that she has a question about Matthew chapter 25, beginning in verse 31 to the end of the chapter, and she was apparently at a meeting in her church. And this came up. I’m going to turn there, Sally. It’s Matthew 25, and she is in Lansing, Michigan. And I’m almost there. I’m turning right now as we speak. Matthew 25, 31, when the son of man shall come in his glory.

This is talking about the second coming and not the rapture. Here it says, and all the holy angels with him. When we have the second coming, that’s when the angels accompany Christ as he returns. Then it speaks here about him sitting upon the throne of his glory. That sitting there upon the throne of his glory is in Jerusalem, as Christ will now become king over the earth, and he’s going to begin the millennial kingdom by dividing the saved from the lost, and all the lost will be cast into the lake of fire, and only those that are saved will remain to live into the thousand-year reign of Christ.

So it talks here about how he will sit upon the throne of his glory, and before him shall be gathered all nations, and he shall separate the one from the other as a shepherd divided with his sheep from the goats, he’ll set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left hand. Then shall the king say unto them on his right hand, verse 34, come ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom, prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

So here all the saved are invited to enter into that thousand year reign of Christ, and they will live with the Lord forever and ever and ever. Then the lost, which are the goats here, which are unsaved, it says they will be dismissed to be cast into Helvors. 41 says, he says to those on his left hand, depart from a ye cursed into everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels. And so we have the saved, which are the sheep, we have the goats, which are the lost, and they are separated here at this point and only the saved live into the Millennial Kingdom.

And what confuses folks here sometimes is then Christ talks about how the saved treated a third group and how the lost treated a third group and that third group are called Christ brethren. I believe those are the Jewish believers who will witness during the tribulation period, those that are of his flesh related to Christ by the blood. And… The goats are the unsaved, but the my brethren are the 144,000 Jewish men that will be witnessing during the tribulation. And through their witness, all of these that are the sheep here will get saved.

You see, when the tribulation period begins, there are no saved, because all the saved have been raptured out. and everybody that’s unsaved is left behind. But then during that seven years, millions and millions of all nations and kinens and tongues will get saved through the result of the evangelism. And that evangelism will take place through 144,000 Jewish men who will preach during the tribulation period. And they will be the ones responsible for these sheep becoming sheep, and the sheep will become compassionate, I think, upon them, and they will feed them and give them a drink of cold water and clothe them and visit them in prison and so on.

But the unsaved will not do that because they don’t care a thing about these Jewish witnesses who are imprisoned, and actually all of them will be martyred and so it’s not how they behave that made them sheep or goats but it was true of the sheep that they did have compassion upon these Jewish witnesses whereas the goats which were not did not have compassion upon them did not but that was because they rejected the gospel. They rejected the message of these men and so on.

Anyway, Sally calls in and says, during the holidays, a woman speaking there at their congregational meeting was speaking to Muslims and Christians and she used the scriptures, the basis for heaven for both. That’s of course craziness. It’s true that the Muslims will be in the unsaved group because they reject Christ and because of their hatred for Israel and for Christ’s brethren, they’re going to receive a greater degree of punishment and hell. But the believers which are the sheep, they will enter into the money but has nothing to do with right now anyway.

It has to do with those that are saved after the Rapture during the tribulation period. We have Tanya in Lansing, Michigan calling in and she says, where am I to find that Christ’s birth is December 25th? You won’t find it. In fact, the Bible is silent about the birth of Christ as the one he was born, probably on purpose, because you can believe in the birth of Christ and still go to hell. You must trust in Christ’s death in order to be saved.

Now, I have a message that you can order where I believe Christ was born in the fall, probably in October. But certainly the Bible doesn’t give us the exact date, but yet it gives us the exact date, the exact time of day, and all the details, really, it’s crucifixionversive, his death, his burial. We know that he was nailed to the cross at nine o’clock in the morning. We know that at three o’clock in the afternoon, he died on the preparation day of the Passover.

We know he was placed in the grave by 6 p.m. We know he rose exactly 72 hours later after Christ had been placed in the grave. And then on Sunday morning they discovered the tomb empty as Christ had come back from the dead like the Bible said. So there’s great detail given as to when Christ was crucified and when he rose from the dead. But there is no information about the birth as to what day, what month, what time of day, and so on.

Obviously, the Bible is probably silent on purpose because God knew what would happen. And look at what has happened. The world has put a lot of focus on the birth of Christ. And yet, perhaps most of them don’t realize that it was his death that purchased his salvation. This is by the land, I’m Dr. Englins, from our phone number is 1-800-576-3771. 1-800-576-37771 and we invite you to give us a call here at Bibleline and you can get your call on the air either leave it as an offer or you can put it on the air as a live question if you want to go up on the air with me.

We have Derek in Florida calling in and Derek says in Mark 69 it says now when Christ was is written early in the first day of the week. This sounds like a Sunday resurrection. But if you read it carefully, the first day of the week they discovered the tomb. The Bible was empty. This is, Christ was risen, but He was risen when the day began, which is at sundown. And He rose Saturday at sundown. And then in the morning, the women come and they discover the empty tomb.

There’s no passage that tells us that anybody saw resurrection on Sunday morning. They saw it at the beginning of Sunday night. And the night is counted before the day. with the Jewish folks. And so that resurrection, I believe, really occurred at sundown Saturday, which was the beginning of Sunday night, and then in the morning they discovered the empty tomb. And I hope that answers that question for you, and we’ll go up here on break down just a moment, and we hope that you’ll keep you ready to dial tuned right where it is.

We hope that you will come by and see us sometime. And if you live in the area, of course, you’re welcome to come by anytime. Very shortly we’ll be announcing some new classes we’ll be teaching on Tuesday nights. So keep listening and we’ll make that decision real soon here and announce to you what we’ll be teaching. And we’d love to have you in the classroom to be a part of the programs here on the ongoing teaching program we have here on Bible on Tuesday nights.

And that is where you can take 10 hours of teaching on a particular book of the Bible or a particular topic. We’ll announce what that will be. We have John in Lebanon, New York, calling in and he says, is it wrong, biblically, to refer to someone as Reverend? And the answer is, I believe yes, because only God is to be reverent. If you could call them Rabbi, that’s fine or call them doctor, that’s fine. But to call a person Reverend, there’s only one that is Reverend, that’s God.

So it would be wrong. All have sinned. All have come short of the glory of God. So there is no one Reverend or Holy except for God Himself. And of course Jesus is God. And so therefore He is Holy. He is righteous. By the way, the phone number here is 1-800-576-3771, and we invite you to call in. And I hope that you will take advantage of the phone number. It gives a call if you have a question and we’ll try to answer it for you here on the air.

And we have here a fellow down in or over in Pensacola. He says, what is a Zionist and is every Jew Zionist? And of course a Zionist generally is used today about somebody who is really strong about the cause of returning back to the state of Israel. So Zion of course is Jerusalem. And Zionists is somebody who wants to go back to Jerusalem and many, many Jews are Zionists. They believe in the state of Israel. return back to the land and the Bible has predicted that return after a 2,000 year dispersion.

If you were to ask me why do I believe the Bible is the word of God, I’d have to say that Jewish people are because God has amazingly foretold their future thousands of years in advance telling us when they would reject them as Zion, they would lose their homeland and be scattered around the world and yet they would remain a nation which they have And then they would go back to their land and become a nation again just before Jesus returns at the Second Coming.

So not every Jew is a Zionist, but you could be a Gentile be a Zionist and believe in the cause of Zionism, which is to return back to the state of Israel. I guess you might call me a Zionist. Although I’m not personally going to live in Israel, I certainly support the cause. I believe it’s biblical that the Jewish people go back to the land. Ultimately, Christ is going to gather every Jew. Once the second coming occurs, seven years after the rapture, he will gather his believers, those Jews that have come to know Christ as Savior from every part of the earth and bring them back into their land.

Also, this color says, what about cremation? Well, cremation is getting popular today because of the tremendous cost in having a funeral. And it doesn’t affect your salvation whatsoever, so it won’t matter whether you are cremated or not. But the Jews always in the Bible buried their dead as a message, as a testimony, to the fact they believed in the resurrection. I am preferring to be buried myself for that very cause. I don’t want to imply in any way that I don’t believe in the resurrection.

A statement I think was made at one time with cremation. They didn’t believe in life after death and they burnt the body. In the Bible you will find that Saul and his sons were cremated. cremation is in the Bible, but generally they buried the dead in order to give a witness they believed in the resurrection. We have a nurse though in Sarasota calling in. He says, what is the difference between the NIV and the New World Translation, and there’s not much difference at all.

Those two Bibles are almost like. amazing to me that the NIV and the New World Translation both have a title that’s almost identical. New and New International and World are about the same and version and translation are about the same. So they’re almost identical. And then inside the same 44 verses that the NIV drops in their entirety, those same verses, the same 44 are dropped in the New World Translation. attack the doctrine of hell. Our layered Harris, the editor of the NIV, said that hell is nothing more to return to the grave, to the dust of the ground, nothing more.

So obviously he didn’t believe in hell. And you can see the influence of the editor of the NIV in that translation they try to do away with a literal hell. I’m surprised at how many churches don’t believe in a literal hell. But there is one, the Bible talks about it numerous times, and Christ said it’s a place where the soul will never die and the fire will never be quenched. If you’d like to call in the numbers 1-800-576-3771-1800-576-3771. You can call in and we’ll take your question live or we’ll take it off air.

We have Chris in Plant City calling in, 1 John 573 Bear Witness, that is the Trinity, absolutely you’re right on that. Again that’s one of the verses that it’s dumped in some of these newer translations but I believe there’s no reason why we should dump it and certainly it is a verse that substantiates the Trinity but we don’t have to rely on that one verse. There’s so many verses that talk about the Trinity that we really can’t get rid of the doctrine.

We have Carol in Sarasota calling in and she says, who or what is God’s glory? Well, the glory of God But of course, is the presence of all that God is. When God appears, the Bible says He comes in His glory. Even when Christ was here, He’s God in flesh, and although He came humbly and simply, the Bible says, or John says in the Gospel of John, that we beheld His glory. And in the Gospel of John, he makes a point of proving or demonstrating that Jesus is God and the events that are associated with his glory.

And that was the raising of the dead, the walking on the water, the feeding of the five thousand and the many other things that Christ did, his own resurrection again from the dead are all evidences of his glory that were things that could be witnessed or seen that only God can do. Christ was also a man, and as a man he got hungry, he got tired, he went to sleep, and so on and so on. But the things that are associated with his glory, and the fact that he is God, are demonstrated in the Gospel of John.

So the glory of God has to do with the things that God is, and what he can do, and what he does, that demonstrate that he is indeed the living God. This is Bibleline again. I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom and I’m your host and we’re glad to be with you. Happy New Year to you all. I hope you are enjoying the new year and I hope you had a good holiday and safe one and I hope this will be a good year for all of us.

It certainly is a time when I think as Christians we need to step up to the plate and do all we can to present the gospel of Christ because time is running out. That’s for sure Christ is returning and I believe probably pretty soon. You know, in 1967, the Jewish people regained Jerusalem for the first time in the Six-Day War. In June of that year, June 1967, the Six-Day War occurred. And this year will be the 40th anniversary of getting the whole city of Jerusalem under their control.

And certainly that is an interesting factor in talking about the Lord’s return because when Christ spoke, He said, this generation shall not pass away. And if you take 40 years to be a generation, then the 40 years will be up with the 40th anniversary this year, the year 2007. June 1967, the Jewish people conquered Old Jerusalem and all Jerusalem now is under Israeli control. And so this would be the 40th anniversary. That’s interesting to look at. Whatever your Christ returns, I believe he’ll come in the fall.

So maybe we might see Christ come this coming September on the Feast of Trumpets, which I believe pictures the Rapture. And wouldn’t that be exciting? Alright, the phone number is 1-800-576-3771, 1-800-576-3771. It’s really a luncheon, I guess, but we call it a dinner. I hope that doesn’t confuse you. We’re going to If you go down to the book Galatians, as if you want to call in, you’re welcome to call at 1-800-576-3771.

And in the book of Galatians, it deals with the issue of are you saved by works or by the law or are you saved by grace through faith? And it’s a wonderful book of six chapters long. I certainly recommend that you take time to really digest what the book of Galatians says, but it appeals all the way back to the beginning chapters of the Bible that tell us that Abraham was saved without works, my simple faith in the coming Savior, Jesus Christ.

In Galatians 3.6 it says, even as Abraham believed God, which is telling us that he believed what God told him. And it quotes here from Genesis 15.6 that tells us Abraham believed God, what he told him about the Messiah. And Abraham believed that and it was counting to him for righteousness so that Abraham was made righteous by faith and not by works, all the way back there in Genesis chapter 15. Nobody has ever been saved any differently than Abraham was.

So if you want to be saved, you have to be saved by trusting in Christ as Abraham did way back there in the earliest pages of Genesis. Verse 7 says in Galatians 3, No, either, for that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. And what is talking about here is that you would become a child of God and become a member of the family of God, of which Abraham is called the father of faith.

What Abraham did is the means by which everybody who would ever be saved would be saved. So if you’re not saved like Abraham was, you’re not saved. Abraham believed God concerning the Messiah and it was a Canada hymn for righteousness. Verse 8 here is a wonderful verse where it says, and the scripture for seeing that God would justify the nations through faith preached before the gospel unto Abraham. So Abraham heard the gospel long before Christ ever came. And that shocks a lot of people.

A lot of people are quite surprised because somehow they have it in their mind that they were saved a different way by keeping the commandments by offering up animal sacrifices. But that’s not how anybody was ever saved. In Hebrews 10, 4, it says it is impossible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sin. It’s not possible at all. And that’s why Christ came and offered up His blood. And the Bible tells us that that Gospel message of Christ was preached.

Way back there in the Old Testament, long before Christ ever came. Let me read the verse again. It’s Galatians 3, verse 8, where it says in the scripture, for seeing that God would justify the heathen through faith preached before the gospel under Abraham, saying, in these shall all the nations be blessed. So there you have it, the scripture foreseeing, that means it foretold it prophetically, that God would justify the nations through faith preached before. That means beforehand Abraham heard the gospel, believed the gospel, and was saved.

You mean to say, did he believe on Christ? Absolutely. In fact, the Bible tells us that Christ actually appeared to Abraham. In John’s Gospel chapter 8, Christ said that, that he appeared to Abraham and Abraham saw him and rejoiced. So Christ made a pre-incarnate appearance. In other words, before Christ ever took on a human body, he appeared back to Abraham and And you can read that story in Genesis 18, where the Lord actually in a human body appears to Abraham in the noon day, and Abraham has a meal prepared, and Jesus literally eats with Abraham here a meal.

And it’s an interesting story, isn’t it? Because Christ is God and He makes quite a number of appearances in the Old Testament in a human form. All of those we believe are pre-incarnate appearances of Christ as He appears to different men over time. And so Abraham was saved by faith alone without works. And he is the father of faith, the Bible says, so that everyone who is ever to be saved will be saved the way Abraham was saved. In any case, there is no salvation outside of the blood of Christ.

And in Hebrews it tells us that Christ took his blood that he shed the cross up to heaven and apply it on the mercy seat in order to obtain our salvation. It says this in Hebrews 9 in verse 12 where it says, neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood Christ entered once into the holy place having obtained eternal redemption for us. So in other words Christ took the blood, the shed of the cross, up to heaven itself, and there on the mercy seat in heaven in the true temple, after which the earthly temple was built, the same pattern was used.

God gave Moses the blueprint up there in Mount Sinai for the building of the tabernacle and of the temple, and we find that Christ took his blood into heaven itself, there he appeared on our behalf and offered up His blood as the full satisfaction payment for your sin and mind. And so a person who puts their trust in Christ becomes eternally saved from that moment on. If you’ve trusted Christ, let me give you the written guarantee verses. It says in 1 John 5, 13, these things have I written unto you to believe on the name in the Son of God that you may know, not hope, not guess, not perhaps not maybe, but you can, K-N-O-W, you can know that you have, have being a present tense verb, H-A-V-E, that you have right now eternal life.

In other words, eternal life is received when you believe, not after you die. And here’s a written guarantee in 1 John 5, 13 that says you can actually know right now while you’re living before you ever die, that you would go to heaven whenever you die. Well that was good news when I heard that. I was 18 when I trusted Christ and I clung to that verse in 1 John 5, 13 and I would tell people I knew that I had eternal life.

And when they asked how did I know, I would tell them because God told me so in 1 John 5, 13. He’s written it to those that believe and I believed he’s written it to you as well And when you believe that Christ died for you Shed His blood was buried on the cross as a payment for your sin Then Rose again from the dead. God saves you and he says you can actually know that you’re saved. You can know you’re forgiven.
