Lindstrom’s teaching for today. Here is a powerful question to ask of any Jewish person. Daniel the Prophet says the Messiah would be here before the destruction of Jerusalem in the temple. It’s still without a temple today from that destruction in eighty seventy. Every Jew knows that the Romans did that eighty seventy. The Messiah according to Daniel would be here before the destruction of the temple and the city of Jerusalem in eighty seventy. Who do you think could have possibly been the Messiah that was here before the destruction of Jerusalem in the temple.
And I do a little countdown music and drumroll and give a few seconds to try to guess at the answer. There’s only one that could possibly fulfill the scriptures. Jesus alone. And that obviously tells that the Jews who are saying that he hasn’t yet come once are wrong because he had to have come and died and be cut off before 8070. If you get a Jewish person to admit to that, you’ve got them. Because they’ve got to pick somebody who lived before 80-70 and there’s only one that would meet the description the Bible gives that’s Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
So are you ready to go on the hunt now for some Jewish person to witness to? Yeah, a couple of good questions here to ask. And of course that’s a good one. Who could have been the Messiah? Daniel the prophet. of your Jewish prophets, Old Testament foretold that the Messiah would come and be cut off, not for himself, but for the sins of the world. But he come and be cut off before the temple and the city was destroyed in the 80s, 70s.
And that causes them to stop and reflect. And it’s a good opening to lead them to Christ. So think about using that. I found that very, very powerful. So notice here it talks about seven weeks in verse 25 and apparently it took 49 years to rebuild the temple and the city of Jerusalem from the commandment being given. And then an additional 62 weeks of years, 62 times 7 or 4 years more, a total of 483 or a total of 69 weeks of years and the Messiah would die.
Then we find between verse 26 and 27 there’s a gap of 2000 years. The Messiah… He goes back to heaven. Now in verse 27 it leaps to the end time and there are seven more years of Daniel’s prophecy that has not yet been fulfilled. In a sense, when Jesus died, the clock for Israel stopped. And it’s waiting for the rapture when we go out for the last seven years to start ticking off the clock. Tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick the clock will start ticking again and in the Messiah will count So anyway, we have seven more weeks left to go.
It’s called in the Bible the 70th week of Daniel And the 70th week is the seven years of tribulation now You know why we talk about seven years of tribulation because it’s Daniels 70th week there have been 69 weeks of years and Now, the 70th week is about to tick off the clock. That’s why we don’t belong in the tribulation period at all, because this was a prophecy for Daniel’s people, the Jews, and the holy city, which is Jerusalem.
We the Gentiles have slipped into the interim here for the past 2000 years, while the clock has stopped for Israel. And as soon as we go, the Jews are right now back in the land ready for the clock to start ticking again and to finish out the last seven years of the prophecy. So we’re right now on the edge. The Jews are back in the land and the nations are lighting themselves as they will be for those last seven years and the battle will take place at the end of it.
And so we’re excited because we know that the 70th week is about to start ticking off the clock. But for those that say we have to go through part of the tribulation or all the tribulation, don’t understand this prophecy right here. Because this is a prophecy for Israel, this is a prophecy for Daniel’s people, this is a prophecy for the city of Jerusalem and the temple that will be built again. And we don’t belong in that for a moment.
We have been slipped in between the two comings. When Christ died, God turned to the Gentiles and now for two thousand years, we have been His witnesses, the church, the body of Christ. Once we are raptured out, then God will continue His plan for Israel in the last seven years. We’ll take off of God’s clock. Now, let’s take a little look at the 70th week down. In verse 27 it says, and he, I have taken my pen and taken the prince in verse 26 and drawn a line down to the he in verse 27 because the prince that shall come is the Antichrist.
And he will be a false antichrist. And he will notice come from the people that destroyed Jerusalem in 8070. And of course, I believe he comes out of the United States. But we are the extension of Rome. We truly are Roman in America. And we’re the last form of what was ancient Rome, and we are that little horn nation that has been spawned by the ten nations of Europe. And we are going to wind up taking over Europe, and the Antichrist is this prince.
And notice it says he will confirm. Now that word confirm means to guarantee. The word guarantee speaks to me that he will be in a position to unilaterally promise peace to Israel. And I heard Bush say at the end of last year, I will bring peace to the Middle East. You hear what I’m saying? Not we, but I will bring peace to the Middle East. Whoa, it’s first time I’ve ever heard a person say it like that and I just still hear it resonated in my ears.
But somebody, and he may be wishfully thinking, but somebody in the top position in our country when it happens is actually going to guarantee Israel’s peace in the land and that’s what this verse is saying. And first thessalonians says, when they shall say peace and security, then the tribulation period comes upon them as to avail upon a woman with child and they shall not escape. Keyword is listen for peace and we’re seeing it. Peace coming in the Middle East.
And aren’t you hearing that as you saw the crowds in Lebanon wanting Syria to get out, they want peace in their land, Israelis wanting peace. all the Muslim peoples who like peace and be delivered. And they’re crying out for Bush. Bush, give us peace. Isn’t that interesting? They’re appealing to the present United States to be their savior and bring them peace. All I can say is that we’re close and somebody at the top, when happens, but Bush is saying the right words right now, let me tell you.
He’s saying the very words that need to be said was the tribulation period opens up in the 70th week, tick off the clock. And that is, I will bring peace to the Middle East. And he’s not appealing to anybody else. He’s saying, I will bring peace. He’s gonna guarantee. Thank you for joining us. We hope that you’re enjoying today’s teaching on the book of Daniel. We have Lavita and she is in Lake Worth, Florida and Lavita, we welcome you to the Bible and program you’re on the air. Thank you very much, Dr. Hank. You’re welcome. Yeah, I had a question. If God foreknows everything, why does the Bible speak of God testing? Why would he test if he knows the outcome?
Well, that’s a very good question. The whole object there is for us to learn. If you went through school and were not giving any tests, then you would have no idea where you were in your progress. And obviously you would not be challenged to go a level higher. So God puts us through tests and trials all the time. And the purpose of course is not for us to fail, but for us to pass. And so every day we go through different tests.
What are you going to do today for Christ? as a good question to ask for every one of us. And when we get up in the morning, we have opportunities, but many times we’re blinded to them, we’re not alert to them, we’re not watching for them. And so we fail to take advantage of the opportunities that come our way, to live for him, to serve him, to witness for him, to be a good testimony. And so these are all for our learning and not to fail.
God allowed Job to be tested by Satan. It was not to the intent that Job would fail, but God knew Job’s character and had full confidence that he would pass those tests. And look at what an example he’s been to all of us ever since about patience and about endurance, about trusting God through the trials of life. And every one of us have found comfort in this man Job as he went through some very serious trials. And yet he never cursed God.
His faith remained strong in the one who created him and he trusted that when he would come out of this he would come out as gold, he would come out refined and purified and much better than he was when he entered it. So that’s the reason why we go through tests. Well, I guess I was just sort of confused because I was thinking, I sort of thought of that myself, but then I was thinking, well, why didn’t they say teach instead of testing, you know?
Yes. Well, we learn through our failures sometimes, but obviously we go through trials. If everything went smooth every day, you probably would not be challenged to go forward in your Christian life. Sometimes when pain in life will cause us to go to God’s word and search it out or or are following on his in prayer and ask God for help. And obviously these are all learning experiences. And, and with, if you have children, you know, that they, they learn through their experiences.
They learn that it’s not fun to fall down, so they try to be careful not to fall down. They learn if they touch the hot stove, they’re going to get burnt, or if they play with sanspers, they’re going to have that awful sting of that sansper getting stuck in their skin and so on. So we all learn, and we learn through the experiences of life, and we grow We grow as a result and we are able to better function and be used of God in reaching others for Him and being a testimony beforeEngineers.
I really appreciate you, Dr. Hank. Thanks very much. Thank you for listening over there in Lakeworth, Florida. That was Levita. We now have Carmen in Tampa, Florida. Carmen, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Hi, I’m Dr. Lindstrom. I want to ask you a question. Where in the Bible does it say there shall never be peace in Israel until the Lord comes? Well, the Lord is not here. The Bible says that Christ is the one who will bring peace.
He is the Prince of Peace. And until he does return, there will be no peace. He’s the one who will bring peace. If you read Isaiah 9, verse 6 and 7, it says that a child is born, a son is given, and it says the government shall be upon his shoulder. And that refers to the governments of this world when he brings peace. And his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor. the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.
And then it says of His government and of His kingdom, there shall be no end. Obviously, it is a kingdom of peace on earth, good will toward men. What the angels announced at the first coming was postponed because he was rejected. But when he comes at the second coming, he will bring peace on the whole earth. But in actuality, it doesn’t say like in the Bible. Well, I’m a little confused because I mean, I read the Bible every day and I don’t see exactly where the obtained that it can, I say, nine.
verse 6 and 7 is a prophecy about the coming of Christ and how that Christ is the one that will bring peace on the earth. If you look over in Micah 2, which is also a prophecy of Christ and how he would come and be born in Bethlehem, and it talks about Jesus being the one that would bring peace on the earth. And it says here that this man in verse 5 of Mike in chapter five shall be the peace.
He is going to be the one that will bring peace. And he’s the one that is from everlasting that would be born or take him on flesh in the city of Bethlehem. But all the prophets talk about peace coming as a result of the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ coming. And of course, this peace will come at his second coming. It also tells us in Zechariah that his first coming, he would come as a suffering Savior and die to pay for our sins and he would come lowly in meek Zechariah 9-9 and he would be just and having salvation lowly and riding upon and ask the cult of an ass.
But then it says in verse 10 that at his second coming it says, he shall speak peace under the nations in his dominion shall be from sea to sea even from the river to the ends of the earth so clearly he’s the one that will bring peace on the earth at his second coming well okay but the thing is that i mean the face you know they shall never be peace and issue i l until the lord coms that you understand what i’m trying to get it exactly and that’s and and and and it says there, for example, in the Psalms, pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
But it says that when Jesus comes, He’ll bring peace to Jerusalem. And then peace will flow, Isaiah says, like a river to the ends of the earth. And so peace will begin at Jerusalem when Christ comes back to rule and reign over the city of Jerusalem. In Zechariah chapter 2, it talks about how that Christ when he comes back will actually bring peace first to Jerusalem which is where he comes back to and then it will flow out to the ends of the earth.
The whole earth will one day be at peace as a result of the Lord Jesus Christ returning. We’d Zechariah chapter 2, it’s a whole chapter about this and it tells us here that he will bring peace to the whole earth when he comes back. Okay, I’m definitely gonna look into this and thank you so much that the limits you’re welcome Carmen the world all around the world Thank you so much. You are so blessed by honey. Bye God bless you Carmen.
Thank you, and we have Debbie in Landa Lakes and Debbie. What is your question? Oh, hi, Dr. Hank. My question is about prayer. Will God not answer your prayers if you are not abiding in Him, if you are living in sin? That’s a good question. Of course, God hears the prayers of everyone, saved or lost, no matter what’s going on. You find examples of that in the Bible. But, you know, if you are wanting to get God to say yes to a specific need in your life, specific need in your life, then it’s obviously related often times to whether you’re living for the Lord or not or whether you’re praying for your own lust to be satisfied or whether you’re praying to get God’s purpose accomplished in your life.
So the real key for answered prayer, but God does hear a prayer and God doesn’t always answer with a yes, but you can definitely pray and know that God is going to answer that prayer. Even the prayer of an unsafe person will be answered. And sometimes what God will do in the case of an unsafe person is bring you through circumstances that will bring you to find them so that you can become saved. And we have examples of that in the Bible where people are lost and they’re praying and God brings about circumstances in their life where they hear the gospel and they become saved.
And if you’re a believer, then you certainly ought to pray within God’s will. And obviously the children of Israel were disobedient in the wilderness. And they prayed not a correct prayer even, they prayed for their lusts to be satisfied. And that is that they were not happy with the manna that God had provided. And they prayed for flesh to eat. They just lusted after flesh. They wanted to eat some meat. And so the Bible tells us that God answered their prayer.
Now if you’ve read that story, it’s almost humorous because God had these quail blown in by a strong wind and it turns out that the children of Israel were buried in quail. They were three foot deep in quail. They couldn’t lay down. They couldn’t go to sleep. They couldn’t walk. You couldn’t go anywhere. I mean, can you imagine being three foot deep in birds? You’re standing up and you, what are you going to do? You can’t lay down, you can’t walk, you can’t go anywhere.
And the Bible says that they got sick and tired of these birds and loathed the meat, but God gave them their request. Interesting verse back here in the Old Testament, it says in verse 14 of Psalm 106, Debbie, it says here that they soon forgot his works and they didn’t wait for God’s counsel, but they lusted exceedingly in the wilderness and tempted God in the desert and he gave them their request but sent leanness unto their soul. Wow! So sometimes you can get what you prayed for and you need to be careful when you do that.
It’s best to pray and say, Lord, I want your will to be done in my life, not mine. will not mine. God knows better what we really need. But definitely don’t give up in prayer. As you seek in prayer, God understands that he will answer your prayer. Maybe not the way you thought it should be answered. But definitely he will hear and he will answer your prayer. We are encouraged all the way through. I love Jeremiah 30 verse 3.
Call him to me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. One of my favorite verses, Jeremiah 30, verse 3, write that one down, Debbie, and look it up. Call it to me, and I will answer. So he will answer prayer, and you need to call upon it. We hope that you’re learning with us. To pledge your support for Bibleline, give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. In Matthew 24, this is so often misunderstood where people read in verse 40 and 41. There will be two in the field. The one will be taken and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill.
The one will be taken and the other left. Most people believe this is the rapture. It is not. It is the second coming. And actually what happens here is the opposite of what happens at the rapture. At the rapture, the believers are taken up and meet the Lord in the air. And the one is the one who is in the air. that are left behind are the unbelievers that will be left behind to live into the tribulation period of seven years in length.
At the second coming, seven years later, the unbelievers are taken in judgment in slain and the believers are left to live into the thousand-year kingdom of Christ. That’s what’s taking place here. And again, a lot of people get mixed up because it says in verse 29, immediately after the tribulation of those days. So it’s clearly talking about after the tribulation period is ended. If you say that verse 40 and 41 are the rapture, then you become a post-tribulation rapture.
Then you say the rapture happens after the tribulation. You can certainly understand how that mistake is made. Those who believe in a rapture at the end of the tribulation, that the church has to go through the tribulation, make this error as they read verse 29, the tribulation period is over immediately after the tribulation of those days, and then they read, there will be two in the field, the one will be taken, the other left, two women will be running in the mill, the one will be taken and the other left, and they say that happens at the end of the tribulation period.
What is this pre-tribulation rapture? Well obviously they’re not good Bible students because they’re not paying attention. This is not talking about the rapture. It says in verse 37, as the days of Noah were, socially coming of the Son of Man be, for as in the days that were before the flood. They were eating and drinking and marrying and giving in marriage until the day that Noah entered into the ark. Verse 39, catch this and do not until the flood came and took them.
If you have your pen, mark the words, took them all away. What happened? The flood took what group? It took the unbelievers and the flood destroyed all the unbelievers. Everybody on the earth that was not a believer was destroyed. There were eight believers inside the ark that were saved. But the unbelievers were taken away, and the ones that were left to repopulate the earth were known as family. Notice this says, and no, not until the flood came and took them all away, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be.
Now I have taken in my Bible and I have circled the word Took at verse 39, I have circled the word taken in verse 40 and in 41, tied them all together with a line, and the ones taken in verse 40 are taken in the same way the flood took the lost back in the days of Noah. They were taken in judgment and slain and the one that is left is left to repopulate the earth. Those who will be the ones who will live into the thousand year earthly reign of Christ.
So in verse 40, two will be in the field. The one will be taken in judgment and slain. Jesus will have his angels round up all the unsaved on the whole earth and the Bible God tells us they will be placed in the valley of Jehassafat, and their Christ will come and stomp on them and crush the blood out of the unbelievers such that a river of blood will flow 200 miles long as deep as the horse is bridal.
Apparently billions will be slain and crushed. We sing that song, the battle hymn of the Republic, and most people think what a wonderful song, glory, glory, hallelujah, his truth is marching on. And they don’t even realize this song is about the second coming. It’s about Christ coming back and crushing the unbelievers. It says the lightning of his terrible sword is loosed and he is trampling out the grapes of wrath where the grapes of wrath are stored. It’s talking about a passage, several passages in the Bible to describe this.
In Isaiah chapter 63, for example, it talks about Christ prophetically coming into the Second Coming and crushing the unbelievers. It says here, and this is Christ, wherefore the question is asked of Christ, are thou read in thine apparel? And your garments like him that treadeth in the wine fat? Talk about a wine press. You know in the olden days they’d get in there with their feet and stomp on the grapes and they’d crush the juice out of the grapes and then it would be collected.
Well, it says in verse 3, and this is Christ speaking here prophetically. Isaiah 63 verse 3, I have trodden the wine press alone and of the people that was none with me, for I will tread them in my anger and trample them in my fury. And their blood, their blood, so be sprinkled upon my garments and I will stain all my rainmin’. We’re going to rejoin stations that have been on break into the second half hour by once. Now, please join us as we return to our Question and Answer segment and then we’ll return for more Bible teaching from Dr. Lynchdrum. We’re now going to Adam and Tampa.
Adam, welcome to Bibleline your own ear. Yeah, could you explain in Acts chapter 9th, 6 through 8. Acts 19, 6 through 8. Okay. In verse 6 it says, when Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spaked with tongues and prophesied. And is that the verse? Yeah. Yeah. This, here we have some disciples here, John the Baptist, then they were not saved. And we find here that Paul, being in an apostle, asked the right questions and discerns that rather quickly.
He says in verse two, have you received the Holy Spirit since you believe? Now that is not translated correctly in your King James Bible. If you have a Scofield, it points out clearly how that this should read, have you received the Holy Spirit when you believed. And it’s at the moment of belief that you receive the Holy Spirit. And because they hadn’t even heard so much about the Holy Spirit. And obviously had not received the Holy Spirit, they were not saved.
In Romans chapter 8 verse 9 it says, if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. So here are a group of people that are unsaved. Then he says under what were you baptized. And he explains here one of the greatest passages that explains the baptism of John to Baptist, that it was a baptism that they would believe on Christ when he would appear as John was the one who would prepare the way and introduce that Messiah.
Well, when they heard this verse five, they obviously, I think, got saved. And I think that’s what’s taking place here, that they were baptized, not with water here, but I think baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus, which is in the authority Christ’s name, they were cleansed of their sin, they got saved right there upon hearing and understanding the gospel. And at the same time, simultaneously, I think the went in verse 5 is the same moment in time as the went in verse 6.
And when Paul laid his hands on them, which was at the same point, the Holy Spirit came on them when they obviously believed. So here they were lost, he discerns that they’re lost, asked the right question, and knows that because they don’t have the Holy Spirit, they’re not saved. And then explains what John the Baptist had taught to be, began where they were and let them to the truth of the gospel. They heard it, it says in verse 5, and when they heard it, they were cleansed by the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The word baptizer means to wash or to cleanse. They were cleansed, they’re sitting on this, is not talking about water baptism. And then verse 6 at the same point in time, the win-win wins if you tie them all together. He had his hands on them as he was explaining in praying. the Holy Spirit came on them and then they spaked with tongues and prophesied. So that wasn’t necessary for him to play his hands on them for them to receive them?
No, I don’t think so. I think, you know, and in the Middle East, people are more, uh, uh, uh, have a tendency to embrace and, and I believe that he gathered them around, probably had his hands on maybe the outer two of the, I could imagine like a circle, uh, with these guys and Paul’s got his arms around a couple of them as they kind of form a circle. He’s explaining it they understand it they believe it and while his hands are on him the Holy Spirit comes They had nothing to do with his laying on the pants He didn’t they didn’t get the Holy Spirit because he laid hands on they got the Holy Spirit because they believed Okay, can I have one more question?
Sure. It’s in verse 8 right there and it says that he spoke boldly, any reason with them for swading them about the kingdom of God. Can you explain what that kingdom of God is? The kingdom of God is an all-encompassing term referring to everything that is under God’s sovereignty. The kingdom of heaven is a limited phrase referring to the millennium and the time when the heavens will rule over the earth when Christ will be king on the earth here during that time.
thousand year period is coming up that the Bible talks about so he’s basically talking about all the things that are and obviously I’m sure he couldn’t cover it here in one little lecture, but he’s covering the I think some of the main things about God’s Kingdom, you know that God is the one who is the creator and everything in this universe is under his sovereignty and that he’s the one who provided redemption for those that are lost and and tells us as believers now what our purpose is and what we should do as a believer now that we are saved and I think he was probably instructing them in a lot of these things.
So Christ is the king that reigns in our heart right now, right? Well Christ does live in our heart whether he rules there or not is dependent upon our yieldedness to him. So hopefully you as a believer are yielded to obey the Lord as a Christian. where you are an effective Christian, a fruitful Christian, a blessed Christian, one that is being used of God. But you as a believer can say no to the Lord and quench the Holy Spirit’s promptings to get you to live for Him every day and suffer the loss of reward and be ashamed one day as you stand before the judgment of Christ where your works and deeds will be examined for a degree of reward in heaven.
So it’s not a term to use when you say to expand Kingdom. That’s not really a legit statement. No it isn’t because the Kingdom can’t be expanded anymore than what it already includes. It includes everything in the universe. Okay. Thank you very much. Thank you. And that was Adam in Tampa, Florida. We now are going to Linda in Dunedin and Linda. Welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Dr. Hankitz-Linda. Good morning. How are you? Good. I have a question.
I have three different points, but John 1028 about plucking out of my hand. If one committed his life and then after years not walking with the Lord, is that that he never had salvation because he He has now become the God of his own universe and has witnessed it. First of all, committed to his life is a bad term. That is not bringing about salvation. That’s a work-salvation-based term. You have to trust in the finished work of Jesus in order to become saved.
And yet a lot of Christians use that term, so-and-so committed their life to Christ. And committing your life to Christ is a promise to live your life in a certain way in order that you might be saved. salvation by works and know you wouldn’t be safer to get go if you’re trusting in committing your life to Christ to be saved. And so many are in that boat and they are making a promise that Lord I am going to live my life in such and such a way and do such and such a thing and be faithful until I die.
And if you’re doing that to be saved then that’s works and you won’t be saved at all. So you’re not even a Christian. Okay, so if it was just a head knowledge then when you truly thought you were making a commitment, but the fruit of your spirit was not the fruit of it. Well, the things you don’t make a commitment. Salvation is receiving what Christ has already done, so you trust in the finished work of Christ and you become saved.
There is no commitment. Now as a believer, now choosing to be a disciple, that’s when you commit your life and you say, Now that I am saved and I want to live for you and please you and earn rewards and your blessings here in this world and for eternity I am now committing my life into your Hands to direct my life andmerga and I’ll be a faithful servant that brings about reward But to do that to be saved is obviously a false gospel message That’s a message of works and many people get these things all mixed up and and if you’re not to clarify it on it, you could wind up in hell because you’re trying to earn your way to heaven rather than ever understanding the simple gospel which is the foundation that Jesus paid it all.
And you must trust in His finished work and His trusting Christ that brings about salvation not committing your life. If that was never done, the person deluded himself and deceived himself and others, then to be head of the household and he did not provide in the spiritual authority that got his place on him, it is worse than an infidel. Then how does John 1028 come into effect? If you ever do trust the Lord as warr savior and you trust him and receive that wonderful gift of eternal life.
He says three things in John 1028. I give them eternal life. So it’s eternal. So they’re saved forever once they trust Christ. If they have done that, that they’ve trusted Christ and Christ alone, that his death and shed blood was sufficient to save them for all eternity. That every sin that they would ever commit past, present, and future was paid for at the cross. And by receiving that they’re saved. He says, I give them eternal life. It’s a gift.
And it’s eternal life that he gives. And secondly, he says you’ll never go to hell. He says they shall never perish. To perish means to pay for your sin by death, which ultimately is the second death to be cast into the eternal lake of fire. And it says here they’ll never perish. In other words, you’ll never go to hell once you get saved. Thirdly, you can’t become lost because no one is able to pluck you out of Christ’s hand.
So he’s holding you. A lot of people get it backwards and they say, I’m holding on to Jesus, I’m holding on to Christ, I’m holding on to faith, I’m holding on to whatever. And we don’t get saved by holding on to anything. We get saved by trusting Christ, and then He holds us. And nothing, no one, can ever pluck us out of the hand of Christ because they’d have to be more powerful than God. And Jesus, of course, is God.
So no one can be gone, lost ones to become saved because Christ is holding us and keeping us safe. OK, then, with all due respect, would you please pray for my husband that the Lord will bring him to the end of himself and that he would cry out in repentance and come back. Well we can certainly do that, Linda. We’ll be praying for you and your husband. I pray that)”, he knows the Lord and if not that……………… he would come to know him and that heRequires would then choose to live for him and be the kind of person that he ought to be.

Hank Lindstrom. All I can say is that we’re close and somebody at the top when happens, but Bush is saying the right words right now, let me tell you. He’s saying the very words that need to be said was the tribulation period opens up in the 70th week, pick off the clock. And that is, I will bring peace to the Middle East. And he’s not appealing to anybody else. He’s saying I will bring peace. He’s going to guarantee it.
So verse 27 says, he shall confirm the covenant that the word confirm means to guarantee. So somebody, you know, everybody, most Bible teachers have said there’s going to be this, together, all the Arab nations are all going to sit down at the table. They’re all going to sign on the other line. We’re going to accept Israel’s right to exist and we’re going to sign it will be a piece of them. That has just been what prophecy teachers have said that has ever been bought up by everybody, but I believe that’s not true at all.
The Antichrist is saying, I don’t care what they say. I’m going to bring peace and I’ll guarantee peace and basically he’s going to wave a big stick and everybody’s going to afraid to go against him and we’re already seeing that kind of thing happen in the Middle East. Everybody’s a little bit afraid of Bush. They’re afraid of the United States. They don’t want to tangle with us. They saw that we’ll go in and get you. We went into Afghanistan.
We went into Iraq. We’ll come into Syria. We’ll go into Egypt. We’re not going to back off. We’ll go get you. So they are going to listen. And that’s the kind of piece we’re talking about here, where the West, under the control of the Antichrist, will say we are going to guarantee Israel’s right to exist. Alright, and he’ll do that with the many for one week. That one week is the 70th week of Daniel, the seven-year period of tribulation period.
The many, I believe, are the many Jews that are back in the state of Israel when it happens. Probably the Jews we’re looking at right now that are in the land. with that many that are right there right now suffering under the suicide and homicide bombers and so on and the neighbors that hate Israel, he’s going to guarantee their peace. And it will be a peace that he guarantees for one week or seven years. But then notice it says, in the midst of the week, in the middle of the seven years, three and a half years in, he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation the cease.
Whoa, what does that mean? A temple must be rebuilt Sacrifices will be offered again in Jerusalem and the plans are already been laid Are you watching the news right now? They’re asking for tens of thousands of Jews to march up this Passover to the temple now Whoa and the Palestinians are all telling a lion or say they’re coming up to destroy the temple mount but but basically there’s this you know Wanting to come back to the ancient temple site they want to offer sacrifices and they’re saying they may offer a sacrifice outside the Golden Gate Right outside the temple mount But it’s going to cause some stir you watch what happens in the news as it will cause a lot of animosity With the Muslims and the Palestinians when tens of thousands of Jews and Gershan Solomon is one small part of that This is beyond him.
This is just a movement of God. I believe bringing the Jews back to their temple mount And they’re going to want to rebuild their temple. The plans are laid, the stones are cut. They’re ready to go. It’s just a matter of somebody allowing it politically. The Western leader’s going to say, I’m going to bring peace. And somehow under his guarantee, they will be allowed to rebuild their temple. And then he’s going to break his promise in the midst of the seven years.
And he’s going to cause the sacrifices that will have been resumed to cease. He’s going to go into that rebuilt temple and tell the world, I’m God. Worship me. Wow. So here’s a man who’s going to certainly be an interesting fellow, isn’t he? And will be empowered by Satan. Look if you will to the New Testament. Look if you will at 2 Thessalonians chapter 2. I’ll give you the page number. But here you have described what will take place that the book of Daniel is describing to us.
2 Thessalonians 2. It talks about the Antichrist being revealed after a departure, which is, I believe, the departure of the Holy Spirit mentioned in verse 3. Verse 4, this man who is the Antichrist called in verse 3, the Man of Sin and called the Son of Perdition will be revealed after this departure of the Church, the Rapture, described in verse 3 and in verse 4, who opposedeth, page 1272, chapter 2, verse 4, who opposedeth and exalted himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped, so that he as what?
God siteth where? That could not happen today because the temple is not there. But right after the rapture, that temple will be rebuilt. The plans and the preparations have already been done. They’ll rebuild that temple right after the rapture. Zola Levitt, when he was here, said he could happen in 48 hours, he believed he could be erected that quick because everything has been done. He was ready to go. So he will sit in this temple of God showing himself that he is what?
God is going to demand to be worshiped and he will march into that temple, he will cause the sacrifices to stop that have been resumed. He will say, I am God, I want you to worship me and demand worship. And that is right in the middle of the tribulation period. Boy, we could really see how this could happen in the very near future, couldn’t we? Because the Jewish people have a mock temple down in the desert near Jericho. They’ve been practicing with people of the Priestly tribe to do the sacrifices.
They have reestablished the Sanhedrin, which they say is the only body that can legitimately recognize the Messiah. I believe they’ll recognize the falsehood in proclaiming as their Messiah. I believe they’ll make a big mistake and recognize the wrong guy and recognize him as their Christ as a Messiah. And they have been looking for the Kohannan family, the only family that can offer the sacrifices, even though you might be of the tribal Levi, there’s only one family that is legitimately allowed to touch the Ark of the Covenant and move it and to offer the sacrifices and so on and so on.
And so far now interestingly they have a unique… Gene, their DNA is very special. And they have been able to, in Israel, find those who think they are of the priestly tribe, 2,000 men who have the DNA matchup that’s separated from everybody else on the planet. And they believe those are the priests that can offer the sacrifices and they’re preparing those 2,000 to do business once the temple’s rebuilt. So many things. And they’re all happening right now. And it tells me that, wow, the Jews are back in the state of Israel.
They have a desiratory builder temple. There have been the stones that have been cut in the practicing in the desert. And the finding of the priestly men and the making of the priests and garments and the building of the implements for the sacrifice and worship in the temple are being built, I think, were just about there. I don’t know what year the Lord is coming, but he could come this year. If he comes this year, it’ll be on the Feast of Trumpets.
I didn’t say he was coming this year. for those who might say he said. But I know whatever year he comes, he’ll probably come on the Feast of reimbursements. So we may be running out of time, it may be this year, I don’t know. But I think we certainly ought to keep our eyes open as we watch the things that are happening that tell us that we’ve got to be close. Then it says in verse 27 here back in Daniel nine, he should cause the sacrifice in your relation toomicise for the overs Speedening of abominations.
He shall make it desolate even until the consummation, And that port determined should be poured out upon the desolate Torah, which is the Antichrist. So he’s going to rule the Western world from Jerusalem, and he will establish his palace, his presence, right there in Jerusalem. And I think we are rather close. The Jewish people in Israel will support this decision, and they’ll be making a very, very bad decision, because they’re going to go into league with the devil himself.
Let’s take a couple of minutes and look over in Isaiah 28 where talks about the Jewish people are pressed right to the limits. They’re willing to make any kind of deal they can. And apparently the Antichrist will guarantee their peace. But look at what it says here. And I believe in Isaiah teasp 14, we have God speaking to the very people ruling Israel today in the Israeli Parliament, in the Israeli government. This is a message that is really addressed to them right now.

Isaiah 63 verse 3, I have trodden the wine press alone and of the people that was none with me, for I will tread them in mine anger and trample them in my fury and their blood, their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments and I will stain all my reignment. So Jesus when he comes back will actually crush the unbelievers in the wine press of the wrath of God and the blood will be spilled out and and create a river 200 miles long as deep as the horse is bridal.
We believe that billions would be killed. When Christ comes back, He comes back in fury, in vengeance, the Bible says. And the unbelievers will be taken. Isaiah tells about this very event here in Matthew 24, 40, where two will be in the field. The one will be taken and he’ll be slain. The blood will be crushed out of his body to form this river. The other will be left to live into the Millennial Kingdom. Let me turn back to the Zachariah and you’ll find that many, many verses in the Old Testament talk about people being left at the return of Christ to live into the Millennial Kingdom.
Let me just give you an example of that. In Zachariah chapter 14 it says, in verse 16, it shall come to pass. This is after Christ’s return, verse 4 talks about his feet touching on the Mount of Olives, it’s splitting, and then Christ setting up his kingdom here on the earth. Verse 16 of chapter 14 of Zachariah says, it shall come to pass that everyone that is left, L E F T, there it is, two will be in the field, the one will be taken, the other left.
It is your coming to pass that everyone that is left of all the nations, which came against Jerusalem, shall go up from year to year to worship the king, the Lord of Host and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. As clear to the millennium, Christ will be king, he will be ruling over the earth, and those that are left of all the nations that came against Jerusalem, those that are saved that are left behind at the Second Coming will go up every year to worship the king in Jerusalem.
And that’s something. Now at the rapture, the ones that are left are unbelievers who will be around for the seven years of tribulation, the ones that are taken are taken up to meet the Lord in the air. Well right in this wonderful passage about the second coming, it gives the parable here of the fig tree. And we have lots of speculation about the timing here as to when Christ would return as the Bible gives us some hints here. It talks about the parable of the fig tree and the fig tree we believe is talking about Israel.
And it says here, learn a parable of the fig tree when its branches yet tender and put it forth the leaves you know that summer is nigh. When you therefore shall see all these things know that it is near, that is my coming is near, even at the doors. Rarely I say unto you, this generation shall not pass till all these things be fulfilled. Well you know, if you go back to 1948, as when Israel declared her independence as a state, and if you take a generation will not pass, and you go back to Psalm 90 where it says that the years of a man’s life is about 70 years, and you take 48 and you add 70, you come up with a date for the Second Coming around the year 2018.
And if you subtract the seven years of the tribulation period, that would put the rapture in the year 2011. Well, I’m not a date-setter, but this is one of many speculations, and maybe somewhere between now and the year 2011, Christ will be back. Who knows? He could be back today or this year. But in any case, I believe we’re getting very close. And it’s interesting that the generation living when Israel became a nation in 1948, and some Some people born in that year, 48 in 2018 will be 70 years old, and that perhaps will be the length of time between when Israel becomes a nation and Christ returns in his second coming.
Now, I’m not setting a date. I certainly hope that you’ve played this program and let me assure everybody I’m not setting a date. But I’m just saying this is a possible speculation, and there are many different ones that are related to this particular passage. But definitely Christ is coming back. and we believe very soon. You’ve got to run. Keep looking up. Jesus is coming and we believe He’s coming soon. You’ve been listening to Bibleline, a presentation of Bibleline Ministries of Tampa, Florida.
