This is one of the several books that we have in our resource center that we recommend from Erwin Lutzer. We also have a great book called The In Time Controversy, all about the controversy between and the pre-trib rapture position. And the preterists believe there is no rapture, and that we are already In the kingdom that Christ came back in 80-70, simply nobody seemed to remember seeing it. And of course we believe that’s a totally false position. But there are many that have that position.
It came out of bad teaching that came through Roman Catholicism and came through the Reformation churches. This is exactly where Roman Catholicism stands. They believe that Israel has been replaced by the church. They are the ones who bring about peace on earth and the kingdom. That’s what the Crusades were all about. They went to conquer this world and to take back Jerusalem for the church. The church was going to bring peace on earth. Good will toward men. Obviously, they were totally wrong.
This whole position is still terribly wrong. I can’t believe people would buy into that. This book by Thomas Iis is really good. I remember being in a debate not against him, but with him on my side. the two of us against a number of preterists and obviously the preterists don’t really like to use their Bible very much. They go by how many historians and theologians seem to line up with them and they say, we’re right because look at all these people who agree with us.
Well, you know, the Bible says if no one believes God’s Word, let them all be found liars because the Word of God is true whether it’s believed by anybody or not. And The Bible is quite clear that this position is thoroughly wrong. I felt it very interesting when I walked around with my Bible, I used it when I spoke and people seemed to avoid me like the plague. It was like I was dangerous to be near because I used the Bible in the debate and Thomas Iis is wonderful.
Well, we’re going to go into the scriptures a little bit. We’re going to go to Mark chapter 4. This is an interesting passage where Christ speaks about parables. He says to his disciples, under you it is given to know the mystery of the Kingdom of God, but unto them that are without that is the unsaved. All these things are done in parables that seeing they may see and not perceive and hearing they may hear and not understand less than any time they should be converted and their sins should be forgiven.
people when you ask them why did Christ make comparables, they generally say that Christ was telling a story in a simple way so that they would grasp the point and nothing could be further from the truth. Christ spoke in parables not to reveal truth but to conceal truth, not to make something clear but to make it difficult to be understood and to hide the meaning. That’s right. Let me read this again. He says all these things are done in parables that seeing they may see and not perceive and hearing they may hear and not understand lest at any time they should be converted and their sins should be forgiven.
Christ spoke in parables deliberately to hide information. You know the Bible is written in such a way, it filters out human wisdom and human pride, And those who seek God through their human wisdom and pride are seemingly filtered out of the Bible, yet a child in their innocence who seek the truth can discover the truth of the Bible and come to know Christ as their Savior. But there are people that are quite bright and have high accused that can’t make heads or tails of the Bible.
And that’s because the Bible is written in such a way that those that sincerely want to know the truth will find it. The Bible says in Jeremiah 29-13, and you shall seek me and find me when you shall search for me with all your heart. So God makes it clear that if you seek, you’ll find. If you knock, it shall be open unto you. If you ask, it shall be given unto you. But those that in their pride seek after God, they will definitely not find it.
Jesus over in John’s gospel makes an interesting statement in John chapter 11. He says here in John’s gospel chapter 11 and verse 41, he prays and he lifts up his eyes and says, Father, I thank thee, that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hears me always, but because of the people that stand by, I said that they may believe that thou hast sent me.” And so here he speaks audibly so that they could know this is really what God’s mind was on the topic.
And then in Matthew he says in chapter 11, and it’s interesting that both of these are in chapter 11 of the God’s Gospel and now in Matthew’s Gospel, but he says now in Uh… Matthew’s Gospel, chapter 11, verse 25. At the same time, Jesus answered and said, I thank the O Father, Lord of heaven, because thou hast hid these things. Thou hast hid these things. Good as Christ is praying and thanking the Father for hiding these things. I thank the O Father, Lord of heaven, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and the prudent, and has to reveal them unto babies.
So as he said before children can Get the truth quicker than sometimes those are intellectually wise and prudent because God screens out or filters out those who are not really wanting to know truth and Parables were written for that exact reason to disguise it. I did 10 hours of teaching on parables we have that CD series available where we cover a lot of the most difficult parables and show how to interpret them in the light of other scripture. And when they’re in harmony with the rest of the Word of God, then you know you have the right interpretation.
But if you read commentaries on parables, you will absolutely be ready to toss in the telling you about, because you’ll get all different kinds of meanings depending on who’s the commentator. And that was very discouraging to me as a brand new believer, and I was buying books with a little bit of money I had while I was in college. And I was reading these books and I said, man, none of them agree with one another. They’re all in disagreement.
And I was ready to quit. But then I realized the Lord kind of said to me, forget reading all these books. You need to read my book. So I really began to depend more upon the Bible itself. And that was the smartest move I’d ever made. Because if you use the Bible itself to interpret the Bible, and you compare scripture with scriptures, the Bible tells us to do. And when you find that everything comes out and harmonizes when you interpret a difficult passage, then you know you have the right interpretation.
because you never, never take a difficult verse and let it contradict a clear one, a Verily Verily. And so many people will take parables and make them say whatever they want them to say. And yet they clearly contradict some of the Verily Verily clear statements of scripture, which really don’t leave any wiggle room as far as the interpretation. You will love my CD series on parables and it will be a fascinating revelation to you how God spoke in parables in order that He might conceal truth.
I hope you are a truth seeker and if you are and you use the Bible, which is God’s Word, you’re going to find the truth. But if you’re not really serious about finding the truth, you may be blinded even if you’re reading the Bible. There are many who claim that they are Christian and they obviously make the Bible a confusing mess because they wind up with interpretations that contradict the Bible and ultimately they leave everybody confused and I think they are confused themselves.

Good morning, Dr. If you’d open up the book to St. Luke chapter 1 verse 5. Okay. Okay. Would you explain the phrase, Herod the king of Judea, a certain priest named back of riots of the course of… All right, the course of the videos that we’re asking about? Yeah, the definition you did.
Okay. Back in first chronicles, it talked about how when the priest had grew, There became too many priests to accomplish all the tasks. So what they did is they divided the year into 24 different courses of service. And those periods of service were two weeks long. The course of Abiyya, if you go back there to Chronicles, I think it’s chapter 24 of my memory service to be right, was the eighth course. And it really turns out it would be approximately the last two weeks of July.
you We believe that Zacharias was serving in Temple the last two weeks of July and it was then that the angel Gabriel appeared to him and told him that Elizabeth would become pregnant and carry John the Baptist. We believe that when he went home on July 31st she probably conceived that night and got pregnant. Then we have the clue as to when Christ was born because we know that after six months of the pregnancy of Elizabeth, the angel Gabriel then goes to Nazareth and the day of the day.
He goes to Nazareth and tells Mary that she’s pregnant and we know Jesus was a full term maybe nine months. So nine plus six is 15 months after July 31st. That puts the birth of Christ on October 31st, which really freaks some people out because that’s Halloween. But think about it. Satan of course would love to rob the glory from Christ and he’s taken October 31st as a day for himself. He’s done a pretty good job of that, hasn’t he?
I really believe that Christ is probably born October 31st and this is the tip of as to how we can calculate that. Amen brother. I also want to speak on the Masons and that knowing that I and what I did was definitely in direct conflict and you’re speaking to a Masons. I can tell you that from what I know from the scriptures and at the time I didn’t really understand that much But I knew that the masons go Kings way and Cain is in direct opposition of God and The Mason’s sister Which is the Eastern okay, so we know about ash and and they they they promote the deity of Christ or they promote uh…
god and but the thing that they do and the thing is once once they get you inducted so similar and then direct you know uh… to god and and they would be just like the antichrist who who wants to be like dot just as you were speaking on the fact that christ may have been born october thirty first i would i would just to a brother yes that are two days ago and and long behold uh… as i was witnessing to him another minister, so-called minister, was calling him.
Yeah, Satan has his counterfeits and no doubt about it. Just like in the parable of the sower, when the word is given out, Satan is ready there to steal away that word from their mind before they can make the decision to trust Christ as their Savior. And it’s amazing how quickly when somebody hears the gospel that there’s a cult member knocking on their door almost the next day. and that we reference to Billy Graham. That’s here, I would venture out to say that that’s hearsay and that, and if it isn’t, then that’s Billy Graham’s choice.
And that would be, you know, that would be, but I would venture out to say that that’s hearsay. Okay, well, I’m glad you shared that with us. Thanks, Tony. Thank you. His name is David. David Jeremiah is a good preacher. Has he preached that you can lose walk away from salvation? No, I don’t think so. Not David Jeremiah. Oh, I have a CD. I didn’t finish listening to it so they didn’t get a fair shake. It’s about a road to salvation and I heard of one of his CDs and I had to figure I don’t I certainly wouldn’t believe that he would believe that way he seems to be very sound every time I’ve heard him and I believe Salvation by grace if you find something different on that CD make me a copy.
Yeah, I stop there So maybe I’m missing something there. So yeah, I don’t think so. Maybe you’re my as a good preacher Hey on the same subject subject, these people that think that it’s great, and I say if you have to add the grace then how is the grace anymore, and they look at me like, dear, stuck at antlers and how the expression goes, they say, well, wait a minute, if it’s partly works, partly Jesus, what part is it, and does it fluctuate?
number two when you rate your goodness how I mean forget Jesus for a second. How do you rate your goodness like, first of all, a Mormon who doesn’t go out and do drugs, sits at home, or a Jehovah with us sits at home, reads his Bible, treats his wife, doesn’t slap her around. You know, just does all the thoughts every tea crosses every eye. Well, I got that backwards. But he has to gospel all wrong. I mean, how do you relate to that?
How do you relate your goodness as to whether you qualify for goodness or anymore? Well, the severity doesn’t make it right. They are missing the fundamentals because Romans 3 and 10 says as it is written there is none righteous, no not one. Romans 3 and 12 says there is none that doeth good, no not one. Obviously as sinful people everything we do is tainted by sin even our best works. God says on Isaiah 64, 6 are filthy rags. The best we have to offer God has been contaminated and is filthy rags and certainly cannot bring any merit for us to deserve salvation.
Christ had to pay it all, and he did pay for it all so that salvation could be given to us a gift. Otherwise, no one would be able to enter heaven. The Bible very clearly tells us that works have nothing to do with it whatsoever. Romans 4.5 says to him that does not work, but would believe on Christ who justifies the end godly, his faith in Christ is counted for righteousness. I love that verse Romans for five you know when people call up and some of them say to you something to the contrary but people keep living a certain way i noticed people like that they seem to be blind to their own sin and like the room send us a smell so bad or it’s not it or or or middle class values as a value like it like for instance if they’re shacking
you know living with somebody yes that doesn’t seem like the smell so bad is that someone else is going out there part of our heart and you know you know party and it was different you just trade one girl and you have a premarital sex and you have a lot of different girls but the society looked at one of the bad is quite a together and so that they did a lot of the bible to standard using middle class values are and now also depends on the zip code you know some places you get the particular married if you live along and up with someone like in the orca some of the other you know the bible says one sin would be enough to keep you out of heaven that’s what scared the life out of me when I was 18 and I saw Revelation 21, 27 that said, and there shall in no wise enter
into heaven anything that the Father neither whatsoever worketh abomination or makeeth a lie. And when I saw that one lie, a lie would be enough to exclude me from heaven. I panicked and I really began to listen carefully to see what the Bible had to say. Of course, we need Christ righteousness and when we trust Him, He gives us His very own righteousness. Sure, thank you for calling in. I understand what you’re saying. It’s frustrating sometimes when people don’t seem to get the point that we’re all sinners and unable to save ourselves and we need a savior.

First one was the pre-tribulation rapture. In support of that, looking at 2 Timothy 4a, referring to the crown of righteousness that you earn as a result of loving his glorious appearing. Yes. Would that matter? Would that not all be a definitely a sub… Absolutely, because it’s pointing to that being the next event.
Exactly. It wouldn’t make much sense for us to look for his second coming, which is not in debate at all about the Different but no doubt about it. It never tells us to look for the blessed tribulation Exactly we’re to look for the Christ who comes back who is the blessed hope the expectation Right that we have that he’s gonna come and snatch us out of here and It’s just amazing how that basically bad doctrine breeds bad doctrine if they don’t get The rapture thing right, I usually I find out that I get salvation right and I had a discussion with the fellow just the other day and his son apparently has been proclaiming to him that we have to go through the true relation and I sort of hinted I bet he doesn’t have salvation right and sure enough the dad said yeah he’s trying to tell me
I can lose my salvation and and it all goes together. bad doctrine is all if you get it right it seems like everything fits into into place perfectly and you don’t get something right nothing fits right and it’s just all out of whack What I told him was whether you like it or not, as long as you’re saved. Hey, bud. Wouldn’t you say they’re more than likely going to lose out on that possible crown there? Well, of course. Of course.
I think you’re absolutely right. We can lose rewards and they’ll lose that crown. We had a radio listener come in into our studios this morning and he was teasing, of course, he’s looking for the Lord to come back very soon. He was saying, I’m trying to get my weight down so that I won’t kind of get stuck on the way up. but it was of course that it is a factor at all but we were left to have you laugh about that.
Alright, it was one thing I wanted to ask you about real quick was… It was the wife of Nimrod and as the name changed as this cult spread throughout the world she’s also Asteroth or Easter, yes. And it was it in 321 at the Council of Nicaea where Constantine basically kind of melded Paul did Catholicism with the pagan religion of simmerance being the worship of mother and son. I happened when he declared the world to be Christian and all of a sudden paganism and Christianity got wed together.

Now yesterday we just switched over to a roadrunner, ISP and I gave the installer one of your, am am I going to Heaven tracks so that he’d be able to see your web address and so forth. He claimed to be a believer. But I do want to thank you so much for explaining the business about the dividing of the courses of the priests because in my studies that’s a very, very key thing to be aware of.
I agree with you that that particular time of the year, March, April was when the Zacharias serving and went home and Elizabeth got pregnant. My comment would be, is that interesting that during the Passover the Jewish people still to this day opened the door and looked for Elijah whom John the baptizer was a type of? Exactly. Going according to that calendar and then further on that’s how we can really figure about Jesus and his time of birth. I myself happen to believe that he was probably, he being the light of the world was probably we can see during the Feast of Hanukkah.
And then nine months later, being born during the Feast of Tabernacles, he tabernacleing among us. So I just want to thank you so much, Brother Lin, so it was just a real blessing to meet with you again. And to, I ordered a book. I don’t know how Donna’s going to go about that with me. I guess you’ll be calling me or whatever. But you’re just such a blessing. And I’m trying to spread the word up here the nature coast and you keep up the good work and we’re lifting you to the throne of grace daily.

Betty, this wonderful connection between the Old and New Testament said a lot of people miss that you’re a… It’s really a rich blessing to see how this Bible all ties together. Absolutely. I would say Jeremiah 17, 9 in the Tanakh says that the heart is deceitful and desperately wicked who can know it. So both join Gentile, we both need Jesus, the Jewish Messiah. Of course he has made the atonement to cover our sins with his shed blood. He lives today waiting for you to receive the free gift of salvation.

Yeah, I had a question about I’m first in first John chapter five. All right. I know verse seven is talking about the under or stand with verse eight, you know, in poorly and everything.
I’m leaning towards like maybe it’s talking about the man, but I’m confused about that verse. I’m working my way over there right now in my Bible and almost there. 1 John 5 and 8, it says there are three that witness in the earth, the spirit and the water and the blood. These three agree in one. There’s different views on all of this, but apparently the water and the blood probably to refer to when Christ died that the, he really did die as the solid parts of the blood separated out from the plasma part and this was a witness that Christ did die to pay for our sins on the cross that he fully died and then he was buried and came back again from the dead.
But it’s not real clear and so there’s no need to panic. How about this? Yeah, I was just wondering about it because it was just unique I guess and I was kind of wondering what Pat vs. talking about. That’s fine. Well I… Well I think it’s really talking about Christ’s death and that the water and the blood probably you read over there in John’s Gospel that when the soldier appears to the spear up into the side of Jesus and John remember first John but he also wrote the Gospel of John and and it would probably be an allusion to that event where it says that water and the blood poured out which was, um, medically that’s a confirmation that death is set in when the blood separates out from the, uh, the liquid, uh, and the solid parts of the blood.
So that’s, I think, what it’s referring to. It says in verse, uh, John’s Gospel, uh, chapter 19, verse 34, but one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side and four with came out blood and water. And then of course the Holy Spirit gives testimony to that as a proof that this is what happened. It says he that saw it bear record and his record is true and he know if that he saith through that you might believe.
So Christ truly died to pay for our sins. Okay, I’d just also like to say thank you for recently purchased some of your tracks in the midst of using them in California in her church. They’re in that they can lose their salvation. And I just read these tracks and they’re just so wonderful. They present the gospel very clear. They really work. It also says that nearly Christ will never catch you. You’ll never lose you. I love it. It’s right under the fact that there’s a written guarantee verse on the end that’s quoted in full that you can actually know that you have eternal life.
It’s not temporary life, but it’s eternal. It’s really great. That track really works. We find everybody tells us that it makes it so easy to lead someone to Christ when you’re using that particular track. That’s the best in the world, I think. I’m telling you Jesus is coming back. Are you watching the news? You I’m getting on the edge of my seat here. Yeah I called yesterday about Actually, there’s 25 or six now you thoroughly elucidated on verse 5 of 20 actually this 20 or 5 and what I was what I want to know is um, we let’s just good and if we are as you said in verse six if we love God and we keep as many commandments of his as we can and we you know we just try to do the best we can and the Bible said that God will have mercy upon us I want to know what if the if the iniquities that we commit will we bequeed those iniquities and those.
I think that’s what it’s saying that and we need to just really recognize this parents. We need to be good examples and guide our kids and to raise them. You know back in the Old Testament there’s so many passages that says that when we rise up and when we go to work and when we come home from work and when we’re sitting in our house we should talk about the things of the Lord and provide that environment for the children and like it says in Ephesians to raise them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
So it’s a really full time job to bring up the Lord and bring up Jesus and talk to our children about the Lord all the time. Okay, because seeing Jeremiah, you know, it says in those days, they shall say, no more the fathers have eaten their sour grapes and the children’s teeth are set on edge and then I’ll put his own in nicotine. Every man that eat it, the sour grapes, his cheeks shall be set on edge and you know i try to arm take your uh…
education about uh… right at the bottom of the world of truth and uh… intermated interpertating and light up a difficult you know make contrast against each other a man you got a right i go okay but one more on dot i was reading in daniel and according to arm dr schoolfield where says that uh… and the dollars now Dr. Scoffiels said that you know that was from AD 70 or something like that when I believe the Romans I’m desecrated the temple or whatever he said that it was already revealed and with that because I will we know if he was Jewish or not Well, right and we’re just assuming that there’s some Jewish blood running through the veins of Antichrist when he appears that he will obviously not follow the teachings of the Bible which is probably the God of his father’s is a reference to a
Jewish heritage so I think Antichrist has some Jewish blood anyway. So you believe that he might be Jewish may not be a better breed Jew but he may have some blood. You got it. Okay I appreciate it Dr. Hank. Thank you. You’re all right. You know we can’t really identify the Antichrist yet because he’s not going to be revealed till after the rapture and but we can kind of speculate I guess but we’ll not be able to say for sure until after the rapture when of course I’m gonna be here but then he’ll be revealed in the world will be able to identify him we’re gonna go to Eddie in St.
Petersburg and Eddie welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Thank you Pastor Hank appreciate you taking my call Friday last night and we got to talking about the news and the events taking place, how close we must be to the ching a little bit about events that may take place and I was hoping that you could experience tribulation, rapture of the church of tribulation. Then Armageddon and then a thousand year reign with Christ here in a New Jerusalem. After that it gets a little cloudy for me because it gets into St.
Paul’s release for a season. He temps. Some follow him. Who are those some that are tempted again? Then there’s a battle of Goggin. Make Goggin there. It gets a little forced. We were hoping you could expand on that. I’ll give you a quick outline here. we believe is the next event on God’s program. Once the rapture happens, the Church, the Body of Christ, we are going to be gone. Then God is going to begin to use Israel again as his witnesses.
During that first three and a half years, the Jews will rebuild the Third Temple. They will offer blood sacrifices again. The end of Christ will rise to power and he will come to power in the middle of the tribulation. He will be the head of the western nations, I believe, coming out of the US of A. We’ll wind up taking over Europe and the core countries of the Middle East, and certainly we see the West involved in really taking over the Middle East.
That is probably something you would not have necessarily foreseen if you drop back 20 or 30 years, but we are the only superpower now and we’re without a doubt the country that everybody is looking to solve the problems over there. And that’s exactly the way it’s going to be in the Antichrist will be that man that will be in leadership once the Rapture happens. We know the second half of the seven years will be the worst and the Antichrist will be ruling then and he Priebus is going to turn against the Jews or be another holocaust and Jewish people will be hunted down and killed.
God will still spare a large remnant of Jews and at the end of the tribulation period it It winds up with the nations fighting over the world and the war breaks out in Israel and is a worldwide nuclear confrontation that’s over in one hour, according to Revelation 18, three times it tells us in one hour. People used to laugh at that. But today we know that Russia can hit the United States in 30 minutes with their intercontinental ballistic missiles, we can hit them in 30 minutes, they can hit Europe in 10 minutes and so on.
And so if everybody hits their buttons and releases their nuclear arsenal, the whole war could be over in an hour like the Bible says, and in that one hour, 2 billion people will die, at least that many. It says a third of the world’s population, and if they’re right about our world population being 6 billion, 2 billion are going to go. That’s just mind-boggling. You know, there will never be such a horrific event ever in all the history of the world as that one right there.
Then Christ will, of course, bring peace on the earth. And during that millennium, it only begins with believers. All unbelievers will be destroyed by Christ as the thousand year begins, but they’ll still be in their mortal bodies, and they’ll have children, and their children will have children. And of course, they’ll still have a nature inherited from Adam, and they’ll be sinners, in need of a Savior, and apparently with the most ideal conditions with Satan being bound up and his angels, and Christ visibly ruling on the earth, that still people will turn away and not trust the Lord of Savior.
So Satan rounds up a large group of unbelievers at the end of the thousand year end of Christ. Then God destroys his earth, casts the devil and his angels and all the unsaved into hell. There’s a new heavens of new earth and we believers are gonna live in the New Jerusalem and enjoy The new earth forever and ever and ever chapters 21 and 22 describe Eternity and the New Jerusalem where we’re gonna make our home and it’s gonna be a great great time Thank you for the call.
I hope that helped a little bit. We now have Adam in Tampa Adam. Welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air is go ahead talks about the sons of God singing and But it’s not talking about angels. It’s, while morning stars sing together and all angels shouted for joy. Let me go back there in my Bible too, that verse first of all, and I’m almost there in the book of Job, which is easy to find right before the Psalms and you’re in chapter 38.
It says here, when the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy. Now the sons of God here… The stars are the stars. We know that today stars do emit sounds. That’s why we have radio telescopes that can detect those sounds. They each have their own tune, you might say, that they talk about among astronomers the music of the stars. But we know that that’s the correct interpretation because when you read further down in the chapter, it says that there’s 31, for example, can’t stop binding.
the sweet influences of plates or loose the bands of Orion, can’t thou bring forth Masseroth in his season, or can’t thou guide Arcturus with his son? So look at that phraser, can’t thou guide Arcturus with his son? So here’s a star system and the stars associated with that star system are called his sons and the sons of God here are the morning stars. They are in Hebrew, they generally will have two phrases, one will reinforce the other, and the morning stars singing are the stars at the Creation, and these sons of God, sons of these stars, and the stars associated with different stars, this is shouted for joy, and their music still is out there.
It’s really quite interesting to listen to the sounds that come in from outer space, in their programs you can look forward to hear some of that music of the stars that comes in from the radio telescopes. Is there a reason that Angel is counted? It doesn’t. I don’t know what translation you have, but the King James says, Sons of God, and the Bible says in Hebrews 1-5 that God never called an Angel his son. This is not talking about angels.
What translation are you reading from? It’s the NIV, but that’s why we got a Revelation 5, Revelation 5-11. He’s from 5-11. And he heard the voice of many angels. What is that? All right, let me turn over to Revelation 11-5. The NIV is terrible. I’m not no wonder it puts that as angels. They just don’t get much right at all. And that’s why you don’t want to have a Bible like that because it puts angels where angels don’t belong.
In Revelation 5, what is it? It’s 5-11, verse 11. It says here, in verse 11 it says, I beheld and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beast and the elders and the number of them was 10,000 times 10,000 and thousands and thousands. So what’s the question or point about the verse? And then you go on and then it goes out. No, doesn’t say sing in the King James. In fact, the Greek word doesn’t mean sing.
There’s no verse anywhere that angels sing. And again, you’re reading from a bad translation. The NIV is almost equivalent of the Jehovah’s Witness Bible. It drops the same 44 verses, it has the same emissions, has the same attack on the doctrine of hell. There are just tons of flaws about the NIV that are just too numerable to talk about this program. I have a sheet that you ought to get. It’s called the NIV quiz that hopefully would be something that would cause you to reconsider whether you continue.
Think about the title, New International Version. What did you host when this was called, or by the new world translation? for word, it’s the same, new and new translation and version as the same in world and so on. The titles are even the same. I think it’s the worst Bible out there. And again, when we have sometimes controversy just like now, a difference of opinion here, people are reading from a bad translation. We just slide you over a couple of notches away from the truth, angels just don’t sing and they just never call the sons of God and of course they read the word sing in there because that’s what people have always heard and I guess those translators didn’t know a whole lot and they just put sing instead of hearing their voice is different than hearing their singing.
They don’t sing. in church. I know that in the song. You know, every Christmas we just re-edit those songs. For example, Heart the Herald Angels Sing. We just change it to Heart the Herald Angels Say. And it’s very simple editing change. And then we said the acquires of Angel Say. And if you read Luke 2 that when the heavenly host appeared, they said in unison, Glory to God in the Highest and on Earth, Peace Good will toward men. Doesn’t say that there was a chorus singing.
He said that he means the word chorus. It just says it was a multitude of heavenly hosts saying, Lord of God on the highest and on earth peace good will toward men. So there’s no verse anywhere in the Bible that says sing. And of course, the Greek words wouldn’t support that. And the NIV just goes out there where the parent of the day don’t care about adding to or taking away from the Bible, which really brings God’s condemnation upon the translators of that version.
In fact, if you read some of the history of the translators here as of late, five of them have lost their hearing. and have had other disaster things have happened in their lives, I think God is already striking their families and their lives for what they’ve done in putting that translation out. We have literature and our resource center that will tell you about the persons who are involved and what’s happened in their lives since they made that translation. I wouldn’t want to stand too close to them or live in their neighborhood when the lightning strikes upon these people that did the tamper when God says you’re not to add to or take away from his word.

It’s amazing to me what these new translations have done. They have brought confusion. Because the Bible says that Satan is the author of confusion, he is just up to his old tactics and is very successful because he changes words and changes meanings and although you might have a Bible that reads easy, Satan uses it as a surper or a honey to drag you into false doctrine.
Of course, whether angels sing or not is not a major catastrophe, but other things are, you need to be careful what translation you have. You might want to get the book we have called New Age Bible Versions. It will expose about 20 of the new ones that are out there. It’s about 700 and something pages long and well worth the investment to check out what Bible you have in your hand and why maybe it is dangerous to your spiritual health.
We’ve got so many other resources. My CDs, teachings on the book of Revelation, the book of Daniel, the rapture, the Holy Spirit, and so many other things. I hope you’ll take advantage and maybe get some of those to help you with your learning of the scriptures and maybe also to use in a Bible study or Sunday school class. A lot of people use them to facilitate a Bible study. And you might want to play a portion and have discussion and so on and then just go through a whole series on a particular doctrine.
