But what about those who have never heard? What about them? God says that they will have no excuse because God has revealed His existence to every person born into this world. They may not have heard of Jesus Christ but they do know that God exists, so they become accountable and are without excuse.

Well in any case this is Thursday and we have one more week to go in this series of classes we are teaching on person second pestilomians.
We have had a wonderful series, a wonderful crowd of people and you are welcome to drive over and join us for that and that will be from 7 to 9 this coming Tuesday night. In September we will do some more classes and we will be announcing soon what those titles will be and invite you again to join the classes. If you are not in driving distance, you can of course order the ten hours of teaching on CD of 1st and 2nd Thessalonians a dynamic study and two great books, Epistles, that cover a wide variety of doctrines including the Rapture, the Rise of Antichrist, the Rebuilding of the Third Temple, the fact that Christ will come back and destroy him and establish a kingdom and so on.
It’s an exciting material and you’ll want to get in on those CD series. By the way also coming up we have on August 17th Gershaun Solomon was today I guess it began yesterday in Israel on the 9th of August again making another attempt to lay the cornerstone to the third temple. And I’m telling you what a time to attempt to make a visit to the temple mount. during the present day war but uh… right after he gets done with that uh…
he’ll be flying over here and be with us on the seventeenth on thursday night and you’re welcome to come that’ll be at seven o’clock and uh… why not plan to come and visit with us on thursday night the seventeenth of august at seven p.m. and see and here gersh on solomon live as uh… he’ll be here right from Israel give us an absurd update on the war and was taking place also the progress of being able to get this temple built.
Certainly, it is foremost the minds of Gersh12. and many Jews and of course us Christians as well we know that right after the rapture the third temple will be built, this man is head of the temple mount faithful organization that has been cutting alone the stones and making ready. for the building of the third temple. So that’s going to be August 17th right here at Bibleline at Calvary Community Church at 4811 George Road in Tampa, Florida. On the third Sunday of this month we have a dinner and of course you’re invited to come and join us and we will have a baptism in the afternoon at three following the dinner.
If you have not been baptized, since you have been saved, we invite you to come and be a part of that, I’d be honored to be the one to baptize you. If you have trusted Christ’s Savior, then you’re eligible to be baptized. It doesn’t save you. It’s a testimony of how you have been washed of your sin by the blood of Christ. The water is merely ceremonial, but Christ has asked all of us as believers to be water baptized, a picture of our salvation.
So if you do not have a place to be baptized, a church that you attend that you would feel comfortable having to baptize you, then we invite you to join our baptism. That will be the 20th and you can come at 10.30 for the morning worship. Stay for a wonderful dinner and then care of Anne with us up a little bit north of the church to a beautiful lake where we will have the baptism service. Bring a change of clothes and a towel and come on and be a part of it.
Please call though and let us get your name on a roster of those that will be baptized on the 20th of August. If you have your Bible handy, you might want to get it out and we’ll take a look at some of the passages of Scripture today that I think you will enjoy and then we’ll take our callers. The phone number is 1-800-576-3771, 1-800-576-3771. In Romans 1, the Apostle Paul tells us in verse 16, I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it the gospel is the power of God unto salvation.
What an incredible verse that is, it tells us that the message of the death, the burial, the resurrection of Christ is the message that brings salvation to a lost person. When they believe that message, this message, the gospel, is the power of God. is the power of God. is the power of God. when you when you when you need to trust when you need to trust the gospel message, that message is the power of God, That message is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes the message.
Paul begins this wonderful letter here to the Romans in verse 1 by saying Paul a servant of Jesus Christ called an apostle separated unto the gospel of God. So here the gospel of Christ is called the gospel of God. It’s the good news message, and this is where Paul separated himself from everybody else. It was all about this message. In this wonderful book of Romans, 16 chapters long talks about this wonderful message, what it is, what it is not, and how we are to be true to the message of the gospel.
It is a message that was also available in the Old Testament. I was just talking about that earlier with someone and it says which God promised, this is Romans 1 and 2, it says here a 4 or B4, by his prophets in the holy scriptures. So in the holy scriptures in the Old Testament, God gave the gospel message. It says in verse 3, this message was a message concerning his son. Jesus Christ, our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh.
So here the prophets had told that of the lineage of David the Messiah would come and he would be of the flesh directly related back to King David. And then verse 4 declared to be the Son of God with power according to the spirit of holiness by the resurrection from the dead. What separates Christ from all the other religious leaders of the world is the fact that Jesus when he died came back from the dead. All the other religious leaders of the world are dead men.
You can visit their tombs and they’re dead. If you were to cry out, hello, Mohammed! What would he say? Nothing. He’s dead. Hello, Buddha! What would he say? Nothing. Hello, Confucius, what would he say? Nothing. He’s dead. If you go to the Tomb of Christ, it’s empty. He leaves an empty tomb as a witness to the fact that he came back from the dead. And this is the demonstration that this is the true Savior, the one who died for our sins, but also then after three days and three nights came back again from the dead.
And so Paul begins right off in Romans chapter 1, tells us that this gospel message is the power of God and dissolvation to everyone that believe it, that he was an apostle and he was separated unto this gospel of God. And then he tells us that the Old Testament prophets had foretold it long before it happened, the people of the Old Testament were saved the same way by faith in the coming Savior. And then it tells us that this Savior was God’s Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, and then tells us that He was physically related from the flesh back to King David, and that He came back again from the dead to demonstrate that He was indeed that Savior, whereas all the religious leaders of all the world religions are dead men and they cannot hear your prayers, they cannot help you, they cannot save you, there is only one
Savior, and that is Jesus, and Jesus said I am the way, the truth and the life, and no man cometh unto the Father but by me. I hope you have trusted Christ as your Savior because that is the only way you can enter heaven, and you can do it right now, you can just tell the Lord, Presbyterians, we all But I believe Jesus Christ died for me. I trust that he died and shed his blood for me, paying for my sins at the cross was buried and rose again from the dead.
The moment you trust Christ to save you, to forgive you, to become your Savior, to be your only hope of heaven. God of an heaven knows and He saves you, and you’re saved forever and ever and ever and ever. Why not do it right now? Get this thing settled and you can know and be assured of going to heaven because God says so. And when you believe God, that settles it. Because God’s not going to lie. He’s not going to trick you.
He’s not going to mislead you. You can be absolutely certain of going to heaven. Well, I’m Dr. Englunds from This Is Bibleline and we’re going to go to the phone lines and we have Jeff down in Venice, Florida. And welcome to Bibleline, Jeff. Say how you doing, Dr. Linsfield? Question for you and forgive me. I don’t have my Bible in front of you, so I’m going to make you think here. I’m sorry. Just popped into my head and I was thinking about it.
There’s a section, I think it’s in either first or second, John, where it talks about fall away from the faith. We’re never going to explain that. Well, it’s saying that some of those that departed out were never safe to begin with. And you know, I think there’s a lot of folks sometimes that are in churches that might be professing to be a Christian if you would ask them if they were, they would say so. But really, they haven’t ever understood the gospel and trusted Christ as their Savior.
And later, that’s evident sometimes when they walk away. And so it says in 1 John chapter 2 is what you’re referring to verse 19, they went out from us, but they were not of us. For if they had been of us, they would have continued with us, but they went up, that it might be manifest, that they were not all of us. So basically they kind of drifted off because they weren’t genuine believers at all, and that’s what this is talking about here.
But obviously for us, you and me, we need to just give everybody the test. In other words, we need to ask them specific questions and to find out if they’ve understood the gospel. One of the good ones is, can you lose your salvation? And if they say they can, then you can know they’re probably not saved because that means they’re trusting in their works because they’re saying that what they do between now and death is what will ultimately determine their salvation.
So they’re really trusting in themselves and how they’re gonna live their lives out. rather than trusting Christ in his finished work as the means of their salvation. But this sometimes can surprise you. People that you thought were saved are not saved. And you can’t tell by just looking at somebody. I know some people will look at somebody and say, well, you know, Aunt Mildred, she’s such a wonderful person and she has that Bible by her side and she attends church every week.
And if anybody’s a Christian, she is. Then there’s Uncle Harry and why he never attends church and he doesn’t ever seem to look at his Bible and doesn’t seem to care about the things of God and he’s for sure not a believer and you really can’t tell Right, you can’t tell them all you have to ask Harry and Harry might say yes. I have trusted Christ I’m not living for him right now but I have trusted him as my only hope of heaven and Harry’s saved and Mildred might be uh…
you know uh… playing the part but when you ask her about her salvation and she said well yeah i’m trusting in keeping the commandments in effect i was baptized and i’ve united with the church and and i’m sure that my good works are going to get me into heaven one day will mildered although she looks good on the outside is not really a believer on the inside and therefore she’s not safe right uh… as far as the salvation issue at the moment of salvation I don’t want to ask you that I’m glad you brought that up.
At the moment of salvation, many of us know so little Christ, and I know I really didn’t know a thing. I just know that I needed to trust Christ, and I gave everything over to him. How much information is truly needed? Because I grew up in a comic works, and I believe I truly found salvation, the type of message and attending that faith. But what you were just saying about the, you know, and I’ve heard you say before about salvation, messages or salvation plans, you know, how much information is truly needed?
Because I know, you know, some people’s salvation plans may be skewed, but they truly do. Well, I don’t think you have to know a whole lot, but basically what the person has to do though is the one condition for salvation is the simply trust in Christ alone as their Savior. If you are trusting in Christ plus works, then you really haven’t understood it because you’ve got the counterfeit message which basically makes you a part of the equation. When Christ alone is a Savior, but I don’t think you have to know a whole lot.
I don’t know about the virgin birth. Maybe I did, but I wasn’t a conscious thing to me when I got save. I didn’t know about other major doctrines of the Bible. I just knew that Christ died and that He offered eternal life and that it was a gift. If I, according to John 3 16, would put my trust in Him, I would not perish, but I’d have eternal life. I took that verse to be true and literal and I did.
I remember thinking in my mind that if I didn’t go to heaven after I had trusted Christ, John 3 16 said that God would be a liar and I just knew that couldn’t happen. You know it looks funny as sometimes I think all the different theologies and stuff actually hinder the faith because Paul talked about the simplicity of Christ and I think a lot of the doctrines and stuff really mess it up and actually complicate it. So thank you very much.
You’re very welcome Jeff and thank you for listening in today. That was Jeff Dunn in Venice, Florida, a beautiful part of Florida south of Tampa. We welcome you to give us a call here at 1-800-576-3771. We have Tim calling in from Lake Worth, Florida. Tim is witnessing to people and he is witnessing that we’re saved by grace. But the people that he’s witnessing too, he says here, as he leaves this question off air are asking him about Revelation 3.15 which says that Christ would spew these out of his mouth.
That’s speaking there to the Church of Laodicea which prophetically is a picture of the modern-day church today where it is lukewarm, neither hot nor cold. And really Christ is saying that he would lose you, but he said that you make me nauseous. So that I want to throw up. He says, I’ll spew you out of my mouth. Well, there is there a loss, I think, of our opportunity to be a witness for Christ as each of the seven churches in Revelation 2 and 3 are a lampstand.
They are a light in this world. And as each one failed, God went on to the next one in the prophetic progression over the past 2000 years, God moved on to each successive one to be a witness for a particular period of time until they failed and then God moved to the next group. So you can lose your witness, you can lose your testimony, you can lose your joy, but you cannot lose your salvation. And certainly when you take a verse like that that’s not really that clear, you don’t ever want to contradict a clear one.
And what I would recommend to him is like John 637, Jesus said, him that come to me, I will in no wise cast out. So he’s certainly not going to cast someone out from salvation. So the spewing out of his mouth cannot be a loss of salvation because that is a clear verse in John 637 that he would in no wise cast out anyone that has come to him. But what he’s talking about there is loss of service or loss of the privilege of being a light in this world and that basically he says you make me sick, you make me nauseous because you’re not standing with me and the Bible says he that is not with me is against me.
So these are Christians that are kind of our middle of the rotors and God wants us to take a stand. You know basically if you’re in the middle of the road you either find yellow lines or dead skunks and that’s about what you’re finding in the middle of the road. Don’t be in the middle of the road. Take a position and stand up for God. He also quotes here John 811, people are telling him, go and sin no more.
Jesus is saying that there. But there he’s talking to the woman caught in adultery and is telling her to not commit adultery anymore. And so it is impossible for anyone to live completely sin free. Now we are not to go out and seek the sin, but yet we have a sin nature. And John the Apostle says, 60-something years after he is saved in 1 John 1 8, if we, John includes himself, say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves.
And the truth is not in us. I will never forget many years ago, I talked to a lady and she said she had not sinned in 8 years. I said, is that right? I said don’t move. Stand right here. Just don’t move. I’ll be right back. I went and got my Bible. And I read 1st John. I showed it to her in the Bible. 1st John 1-8. I said, how do you explain this? It says, if we say that we have no sin, you just said you hadn’t sinned in 8 years.
The Bible says that you’re deceiving yourself and the truth is not in you. Well, obviously that caused her little grief because she had to change her story a little bit. She said that she committed errors, but she didn’t sin. So she had a way of defining it away. But we all sin. And we will continue to sin till the day we die, even as Christians. But it doesn’t mean that we’re going out and doing flagrant sins like killing people or robbing banks or mugging little old ladies in the park and so on.
But it’s talking about, we have a sin nature that everything we do is is in suddenly attended by sin. You know James defines sin. He says, if we know to do good and do not do it, then that is sin. So if you just know that you have responsibilities that you’re not living up to as a believer, then you’re sinning and not being obedient to do those things like praying, reading your Bible, attending church and witnessing to the lost and etcetera, etcetera.
But thank you Tim for calling in and just keep up the good work and keep the Bible going out. Becky in Michigan calls in just a minute ago and leaves a question. She says the Muslim religion versus ours. We do not serve the same God and she doesn’t seem to believe that. Can you clarify? Well, Islam believes in the moon God. Just look at any prayer tower. They call a minarets in the Muslim faith and at the top there’s a crescent moon.
They pray to the moon. Islam believes that Allah is the moon god and they pray to the moon and obviously it’s a false religion and it’s not even close to Christianity. In fact, the main teachings of the Quran The Gospel message says in the Quran that Jesus Christ is not the Son of God. That Jesus Christ is not the Savior. That Jesus Christ did not bound across of Calvary. That Christ did not come back from the dead and so on and so on.
So the people of Islam are lost according to the Bible. We need to pray for them, but they don’t have the same God. They have the moon God. We have the maid. We have the God that created the moon. So obviously, their God is a false God and we believe in the God of the Bible who created the Sun, the Moon and the Stars and the whole universe. Thank you Becky, listening up there in Michigan, on several stations in Michigan and God bless you, thank you for tuning in.
We are about ready to go to break so we want you to keep your radio dial tuned right where it is. And of course we are concerned that if you haven’t trusted Jesus Christ alone that you would do that. Just whisper that prayer that we mentioned earlier. God I AM a sinner and that’s true of all of us. But I trust right now Jesus Christ as the one who died to pay for those sins was buried and rose again from the dead.
The moment you do that my friend God saves you. I hope that you would pray that prayer right now. We’re going to go to break, keep your radio dial tuned right where it is. Go away and we’ll be right back to do the second half of Bibleline. So stay tuned. Keep that radio where it is. Don’t go away. Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. I’m Dr. Inker, and this is Bibleline.
It’s wonderful to be able to be with you. Thanks for tuning into the broadcast. I do want to thank all of our listeners who pray for and give to the Bible and because you are the lifeline that keeps this program on the air. I really hate to talk about money and if I didn’t have to, I wouldn’t talk about it. But you know, it’s a part of God’s plan that we partner together. This Bibleline adventure, getting the word out on radio and television is certainly much bigger than me and also bigger than my church.
And quite frankly, we don’t have enough money to pay for it all and we couldn’t pay for it without your help. And so it is a real partnership between our listeners and us here at Bibleline that makes it possible to pull this off. Your gifts certainly make this program available to the people in your area plus other areas as well. So if you would consider praying for, we would appreciate that very much Bibleline, but also consider maybe giving a regular gift to Bibleline.
That would help us. I personally am not paid to be on Bibleline, nor is our staff. And we obviously don’t have any salaries with Bibleline. We really are probably the low budget Christian organization out there because we don’t really have those expenses. But we’re ready to cost a lot of money and all of our other expenses to get this program out cost money and we need your help to be able to continue it. So maybe you would consider getting a gift.
Maybe just a dollar a day or a dollar every day you listen to the program. If everybody that listened did that, we would have more than enough. But consider giving some kind of a gift. Maybe you could give much more. If you can, that would be a real blessing. Let me encourage you to consider not only praying for Bibleline, but to give me a partner and give the Bibleline. You can send a gift to Bibleline and you can also do it by credit card over the phone.
All my operators and they will be glad to send you an envelope with our address printed on it. They will be glad to recite the address for you so you can copy it down and send a check or you can just give them a gift by credit card over the phone. You can also get a resource list and order resources that will help you and we will earn something from that to help Bible on the year. That would be great as well.
If your station doesn’t carry the second half of Bible on go to the internet and you catch the full program and also if you’re able to hear it, stay tuned. We’re going to now join other stations that have been on break and come back and do Bible in Part 2. So don’t go away. We’ll be right back in just one moment to do Bibleline too. Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771.
Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. All right, we’re back from that break and this is Bibleline. And we’re coming to you live from Tampa, Florida from our studios here at the Calvary Community Church. We certainly invite you to drop by anytime we have classes on Tuesday night again this coming week. And finishing up first and second pestilonians. What a wonderful series this has been. You can order the CDs and be as though you were right there in the classroom.
And some exciting material I think you’re going to really enjoy that series. So I hope you call our operators in maybe order the 10 CDs, the 10 hours of teaching on first and second Bessalonians. Also coming up here in Tampa, we’re having a baptism on the third sun. If you’re in driving distance and you’ve not been water baptized since you’ve been saved, then we would be honored to be the one to baptize you. Water baptism doesn’t save, it is a testimonial of how we are cleansed of our sin by the blood of Jesus.
Only Jesus’ blood could wash away your sin. The hymn writer wrote, What can wash away my sin? Answer, Nothing but the blood. Nothing but the blood. Nothing but the blood. Water will not wash away your sin. So if you have not been water baptized, since you have been saved, in other words, infant baptism doesn’t count. You didn’t even know what was going on when you were baptized as an infant if you were. Usually that’s sprinkling anyway, it’s not really baptism.
Then if you were baptized before you were saved, well again you weren’t giving testimony to anything because you weren’t saved. You didn’t know about salvation. And so really true baptism takes place after you’ve been saved. And if you’ve not been water baptized since your salvation decision, then you ought to do that. And we’d love to have you be a part of ours on August 20th. We’ll have a dinner that day so you could come in the morning for a Sunday school and adult education at 9.15.
You can come or at the 10.30 time for the morning worship. We’ll have a dinner. You can stay for dinner. Be my guest. And then we’ll kind of do a little motorcade just north of where we are to a beautiful lake and we’ll have the baptism at 3 in the afternoon. So consider being a part of that. You can call it your name on the list and we can also get you a map and give you directions. You can meet us at the baptism or you can attend the functions here at Calvary Community Church, including a wonderful dinner that day and you can be our guest for the dinner.
Play for us as we obviously want to continue to carry by blind in your area and expand it out to the world. And right now 140 countries have logged on to the internet and we have over, we’re coming up on 11,000 listeners a month listening to Bible and on the internet. That is incredible. So we have a wonderful audience in addition to those that are listening to the live broadcast on the radio in your city and other cities across America.
But we’re also broadcasting this program down in Honduras and Central America reaching to Guzigalpa the capital of other cities where our TV program by blind is on air in Mongolia. That is incredible but the Lord has opened that door for us and we’re excited about what God is doing. And we know that this is our television day. Today is Thursday and tonight at 6.30 we’ll be on Direct TV nationwide. If you have Direct TV it’s on Channel 321, World Harvest Television Channel 321, and that’s at 6.30 tonight.
At 7, we’re all over the West Coast of Florida on table, everywhere from Port Myers to Crystal River over to Orlando, and you might enjoy watching the By Blind Program at 7 tonight on WLCF or the CTN Network. We are going to go back to the phone lines, and we’ve got a number of off-air questions, So we hope that you’ll give us a call here at 1-800-576-3771. And we have several questions here. We’ll go ahead and take Tyler in Clearwater, Florida.
controversially, how do we get the number 666 in Revelation? Verse 18 of chapter 13. Well, it says there that the number or the mark of the beast is three score and 603 score and 6 which is 666 and so that is the number. There’s probably lots of meanings to that but certainly one of the meanings is as the Antichrist comes on the scene he will proclaim to the world that he is God and I believe God is saying by the number 666 as man was created on the sixth day that he’s just a the man he He’s just a man.
He’s just a man. Now, what is interesting is that Jesus, who really is God, that the religious leaders rejected Him and said He was just a man when He was God. You know, when they heard Jesus say in John chapter 10, I and my father are one. They took up stones to stone him and Jesus said, for what good work do you stone me? I have done many good works for my father, for which of those good works do you stone me?
And they said, for a good work we stone me not, but for blasphemy and because of thou being a man, make us thyself God. So they heard his claim that he was God in human flesh and they said he was only a man. But the anichrist will be proclaiming that he’s got to be accepted as gone when he is only a man. So I think that’s one of the meanings. Also there are other meanings which I believe it has to do with the probably maybe the identity card that according to what I’m hearing by the year 2008 everyone in America will have this identity card with a chip in it.
But then that’s the prelude I think to put the mark in your body which will have a number that will allow all of your monetary transactions to take place for you to be identified, for you to be tracked and so on and so on. And that number 666 will become very meaningful in identifying that system and tying you to the enterprise. Tyler I hope that helps. Tyler in Clearwater, Florida. you for calling in. We have James in Auburn, Dale, Florida, and he says, how do we adjust to the thousand-year reign?
Or how will we adjust? I really don’t know what you mean by that, but we will obviously get brand new bodies and we’ll come back and rule and reign with Christ, and of course, we’ll never die and we’ll be alive forever and ever and ever. the actual subjects of the millennium are those that get saved after the rapture during the seven years of tribulation millions and millions will get saved. And those millions that survive the seven years of tribulation and the battle of Armageddon will be invited to enter into that thousand year kingdom where Christ will rule on the earth and the earth will be at peace.
So I don’t know if there’s much of an adjustment to make. Certainly not for us will be in our eternal bodies, but for those that are in their human bodies, it will be a wonderful adjustment, obviously, to go from a world of sin and war and injustice to a world of peace and no war and perfect justice as Christ will be really over the earth. Off the air, Jeff calls in from Venice, Florida, and he says, where in Isaiah is the the verse that the Jehovah’s Witnesses get their name from.
Jeff, good question. The answer is Isaiah 4310, where God says to Israel, not to the Jehovah’s Witnesses, you are my witnesses, safe Jehovah. And of course, that very verse proves the Jehovah’s Witnesses to be false because he He says in that verse to those that are Jewish, that are His witnesses, you are my witnesses in St. Jehovah. Then He says, before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be a God formed after me. Well the Jehovah’s Witnesses teach that Jesus is a created being, that He is a God, not the God, and He was created after Jehovah or Yahweh.
So that very verse that they take their name from proves them to be a false religion because they claim Christ is a created God created after Jehovah or Yahweh and proves that they are false. The very verse they take their name from exposes them as being false witnesses. Kelly in Bradenton, Florida calls in and she says, What is the best book to read about in times? Well, I see Adam there during the thousand-year reign and if I do see Adam there during the thousand-year reign It’s gonna have a shock see in the computer. So that’s what I meant. Oh, I see well I guess so but I think everybody from the past will be just brought up the speed rather quickly but all of the saints will come back and rule and reign with Christ and I personally think that will be invisible to those that are in our mortal bodies But yes, Adam would be there among all the other believers as we’ll all be be ruling and reigning with price during that thousand year end of price.
So yeah, I guess it will be quite a shock for all of them to see the advances in technology since they were around. That’s what I was thinking. That’s what I was thinking. Because I was saying the knowledge that we have now we wouldn’t go back to his time. That would be a shock to us. You’re absolutely right James and I agree with you. It would be fun to see how it all works out. Very good. All right, James down or over in Auburn Del Fauci.

We have Jim in Richmond, Virginia, who calls in and says, there are three Earth Ages, three Heaven Ages. Please explain what they’re talking about. Well, I’m not too sure if I know what you’re talking about. But in Second Peter chapter 3, it may be what you’re talking about. The Bible talks about a past Earth, a present Earth, and a future Earth, along with the atmosphere around the Earth, which is what is probably you’re referring to. the heaven being the atmosphere in this particular case.
There are three different words used in the Bible for heaven. One is the atmosphere, one is the planetary heavens, the space that we see out there beyond the earth. And then there’s heaven itself which is beyond all that beyond the horizon of the universe. But Peter talks about prior to Adam and Eve that the earth was created perfect and we know from other passages we believe inhabited by dinosaurs and plants and animals and angels lived on the earth and we believe Lucifer was put as the God of this world and ruled over the original earth.
That was destroyed when Lucifer tried to overthrow heaven and the earth became void in without form as we find it in Genesis 1-2. But then Peter talks about a present earth that is kept in store by the Word of God until after the thousand year reign of Christ. And then the present earth that we’re experiencing right now will be destroyed by fire in Revelation 2 Peter 3.10. And then it says in Revelation 2 Peter 3.13, nevertheless we wait or look for a new heavens in a new earth.
So that’ll be the… The Heaven is referring to the atmosphere around the Earth. This Earth will be renovated or cleansed by fire and will have a perfect Earth to enjoy in eternity once we have our new bodies and so on. We have Mike in Seminole waiting on the line. Mike, welcome to Bibleline. You’re on the Earth. Bohaia pastor good to speak to you. Thank you one comment quickly Adam and being that he would probably be impressed with technology today, but Maybe we should remember I think that Adam in fact named all of the animals and Retained those names and was able to recall him.
So hey, you’re absolutely right. Oh, I agree. That’s a good point Adam had quite a a bright mind, didn’t he? A lot of parents can’t even figure out what to call their kid. But, Adam naming all the animals, he had never, you know, obviously had any past thing to draw. And there was no book to go to and say, here’s some possible names to name them, you know. So, yeah, that’s quite impressive. Okay, yes, and my question was, could you explain please dispensationalism for me?
Sure, all right. And I’ll hang up if I can and I’ll listen to you on the radio. Beautiful. The Schofield Bible, which I love so much, I use the old Schofield Bible, has some pretty good definitions in it. Basically, dispensation is a period of time with a beginning and ending where man is tested in regard to some specific revelation from God. Each of the dispensations and scofield lists seven, which I believe is probably the right number, be in failure.
The first dispensation is called the dispensation of innocence, and that’s when man was in the garden. Obviously they were only given one thing that they had to worry about, and that was that they were not to eat of the tree, of the knowledge and good and evil. when Adam and Eve took of that tree, that dispensation closed with man and his failure. They’re cast out of the garden. Now, the next dispensation begins with the dispensation of conscience. Obviously, that failed as we come to the time of Noah, and all of the people on the earth had corrupted themselves except for one family.
conscience was not good enough to guide them and the man fails and so that ended that dispensation and the next one following is the dispensation of human government where Noah was given authority to be able to take the lives of those who would maybe take the life of another human being. So the highest authority therefore would be human government therefore would be human government now being instituted where man could judge other men and had the power authority to take another man’s life if they were to take someone’s life and so on.
So each of these dispensations move along and they all end in failure. There are three named by name in the book of Ephesians. The dispensation of grace is the dispensation we’re in right now which began at Pentecostal and ended the Rapture. Ephesians 111 names the dispensation of the fullness of times, which is the millennium, and that is when the heavens will rule over the earth and so on. But if you have a skill field Bible, it will guide you through all the dispensations.
If you don’t see those dispensations, then you can really get confused as you read your Bible. The dispensation of law has been put on pause, And so we’re not under the law. Right now in this President’s Association, we’re under grace. So that’s why we don’t offer up animal sacrifices and observe the Sabbath and so on, all the other things that were under the Old Testament law. Hopefully that helps a little bit and thank you for the call. We now have Tim and he’s calling in from Plant City, Florida.
Tim, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Thank you, Dr. Hank. I’d like to say that I’ve been listening to your program for six months and I’m involved in the Bible Study Tuesday evening. Two weeks ago I dedicated my life to Christ. I had a question for you. Wonderful. Gentlemen, before maybe you could. All right. I’ll be happy to you know, I believe the dinosaurs lived in the on the original Earth and when Satan or Lucifer led his rebellion from the earth to heaven and was cast back down that God judged this earth and all life on the planet was extinguished and that is described in Genesis 1 to and so today we find the fossil remains of that original earth and the cold deposits around the earth are fossilized vegetation and the oil deposits are fossilized animal life and you’ll notice there’s large pockets of them caught and trapped underneath the surface of the earth.
What caused that? There obviously had to be some cataclysmic judgment upon the earth and this wasn’t, and couldn’t be explained just by Noah’s flood. This had to be more than that. And we believe that apparently a huge, maybe asteroid struck the earth. NASA at least says all life on the earth was destroyed and the dinosaurs were destroyed 65 million years ago when an asteroid which had 125 mile diameter struck in the area of the Gulf of Mexico in the Yucatan Peninsula.
you can see that round circle area there and certainly uh… uh… that is an interesting uh… thought and if that be the case that would be when genesis one to occur and then it says the spirit of god moved upon the face of the waters in genesis one to that would move beings to incubate or to brood upon and is a word that would be used for a uh… bird sitting on the nest and keeping the eggs uh… warm and and getting ready to hatch out Well, apparently, after millions of years since the 65 million year ago, incident, if NASA is right, maybe 6,000 years ago, the Holy Spirit warmed up the earth and brooded upon it and made it inhabitable again.
And then in seven days, the seven days of the recreated weak God puts man on the planet who replaces the angels that were the rulers over this original earth. That’s a little bit of what I believe, and I have some CDs on that, and you might find interesting to listen to. You might call and order them. Thank you, Tim, for calling in from Plant City, and dinosaurs are real, but they’re dead. They’re not around today. And aren’t we glad?
They’re pretty big creatures, and we’d have trouble, I think, competing with them on the earth today. Well thank you for tuning in today. I hope you’ve enjoyed the program and by the way we hope that you will Listen over the internet as well. We have more and more people that are Enjoying it in fact. I think we have an internet listener right now That’s just called in we have Grady in Tallahassee and I know we’re not on the air in Tallahassee So you must be listening on the internet great welcome to Bibleline hello Dr.
Lynch from how are you good? I have two questions for you. The first one I heard you say before that we have the rapture before the antichristor’s upon the theme. Is that correct? The rapture happens first, yes. Yes, because the infested thessalonians chapters when Paul was talking about that he says let no man deceive you by any means for that they shall not come except they come up and be revealed. Exactly. Now the following way there that phrase from the Greek means a departure and if it’s a departure from doctrine then it’s apostasy which that’s also going to be true but I believe it’s a departure that we find a few verses down in that chapter of the Holy Spirit.
The one who is hindering iniquity in this world. The key that we read about a little bit further down there is the Holy Spirit and all of us believers that are a retardant against evil in this world. But when he is taken out of the way, which I believe is the Holy Spirit being taken off the earth, we are going to go up with him because he dwells in us forever. And so I believe it is that departure. And then you’ll notice after that explanation about the he being taken out, again it says in verse eight i think it is that uh…
then the antichrist will be revealed so this departure is uh… the departure of the church is the departure of the Holy Spirit uh… who balls and us believers and when he goes we go and so then the antichrist will be revealed so that it’s a great passage to prove that we’d are going to be taken out prior to the tribulation period and also When it’s at four, there’s one there and then I read down it on the floor of the event.
It seems like he puts down there. It says the manifestation of the lawless one. That was number four. Then number five, then it has the coming of Christ and glory. Well the coming in price and glory is the second coming. So he doesn’t come in glory at the rapture. He comes kind of like secretly to the upper atmosphere and shouts and up we go and meet him. Seven years later he comes back and destroys the antichrist. So he’s revealed after the rapture but destroyed it the second coming.
Okay and then the last question and I’ll hang up and listen on the internet as you explain this one. In Revelation, when it talks about taking that mark, it explains three things. It said the name of the piece, the number of the piece, what are the name of the number. And if you can explain that right there, I’ll listen. All right. It’s going to be tight because the time is right at the very end here. But the word, the number six, six, six, if you look at a bit of concordance, The Greek word is not only 666, but it is also the Greek word stigma.
And it actually, well, we don’t have time. We’ll have to get at it tomorrow. Keep looking up. Jesus is coming and we’ll be back Lord William tomorrow.
