We had a family come in here this week and they said they might miss their coffee sometimes in the morning but they don’t miss Bibleline. We had a carpenter come from Plant City and he said he has his affordable power right there on the jobsite and he has his radio powered up and he’s tuned in to Bibleline on the work site every day.

That’s exciting. We hear good reports of people listening in and making their day center around Bibleline. just really humbled by all of that. If Bible is a blessing to you, we are just so grateful to the Lord because our purpose is to reach out with the message of the Bible to make it clear and to help you understand the Scriptures. If you are not saved, come to know Jesus Christ as your Savior. I want to share with you a little passage I love very much.

It’s in 1 John 5 and it says in verse 10, he the believeth not God has made him a liar because he believeth not the record that God gave of his son. If you don’t believe the scriptural record concerning Christ, you’re actually calling God a liar. That’s right. God is the author of scripture and I don’t think anybody intentionally would stand face to face with God and point their finger at God and say, you’re a liar. I don’t think anybody would do that.

That wouldn’t be smart. It wouldn’t be the right thing to do. But you know when you read what the Bible says about Jesus Christ and you do not believe that record that God has given concerning His Son Jesus Christ, the Bible says that you are calling God a liar. It says because, because, because, because this is 1 John chapter 5 verse 10. It says because he, believe it, not the record that God gave of his son. So if you don’t believe the record that God gave of his son, you’re calling God a liar.

And then verse 11, God sets the record straight. I love this verse 1 John 5, 11. It says, and this is the record that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his son. Let me read that again. And this is the record that God has given to us eternal life and this life is in His Son. Wow, what a wonderful verse. And we know that eternal life is given. That means it’s a gift. It’s free.

I cannot believe how many people insist upon working their way to Heaven, or in addition to Christ, work their way to Heaven. Did you know that if you attempt to add any work to what Jesus finished at the cross, you will not be saved? Did you hear that? You’ll not be saved? I have had so many people tell me that I’m more secure than you are. Of course, that’s not possible because every believer is secure in Christ and how can you get more secure than having God secure you forever through faith in Christ.

But they say I’m more secure than you are because I’m trusting in these additional things that will absolutely assure my salvation. Well, little do they realize when they’re trusting and they admit that they are doing so, trusting in other things in addition to faith in Christ, they won’t be saved at all. For example, water baptism, if you’re trusting in Christ plus your water baptism, you’re not saved. You’re not going to go to heaven. Let me quote a verse for you.

Romans 11, 6, mark it down. Romans 11, 6, it says, If by grace, grace is the means by which we are saved. For by grace are you saved. Ephesians 2, 8, tells us. For by grace are you saved through faith in Jesus Christ. In Romans 11, 6, it says, If by grace. Grace meaning unmerited mercy or unmerited favor. It’s God’s mercy shown toward us through Christ, for by grace are you saved. Romans 11, 6 says, If by grace, then it’s no more works.

Otherwise, grace is no more grace. In other words, by definition, grace is the absence of works. If you add any work, you no longer have grace. The next phrase goes on to confirm that it says, but if it be of works, then it is no more of grace. Otherwise, work is no more work. That might sound confusing the first time you hear it, but let me just say to you, it’s really saying that they are exact opposites. If it’s by grace, it can’t be by works.

If it’s by works, it can’t be by grace because they are the exact opposite of each other. And by the way, without God’s grace, without God’s mercy, You cannot enter heaven.” Heard the story about the woman who went to the photographer. She had her picture taken and she got the proofs back for the photographer and she was not happy. She stormed back into the office of that photographer and she screamed and she hollered and she said, these pictures don’t do me justice.

And she threw those pictures down on the desk of the photographer. He looked at him and he said, Lady, you don’t need justice. You need mercy. You know that’s true of us with God. You don’t want justice. If you got justice, if I got justice, we’d go to hell. We’re sinners, condemned, lost, headed for hell. And if we got justice, we’d go to hell. What we need is mercy. That’s right. unless you trust in the grace of God, which is exclusively grace without works.

As Romans 11, 6 defines grace for us, if by grace it is no more of works. But if it may be of works it is no more of grace. You don’t want to ever be caught trusting in works and having no grace when you stand before the Almighty God. So my friend, unless you trust Christ alone, you’ll never be saved. On 511, this is the record God says that God hath given. It’s a gift. It’s all paid for. Jesus finished the work of salvation at the cross and offers eternal life as a gift to all those that would trust Jesus as their Savior.

And it says here, this is the record that God hath given to us eternal life in this life. His son. Secondly, it’s eternal life. He gives not temporary life, not a trial period, not probation, but salvation. It’s eternal life. First John 511. This is the record that God is setting straight. Three things here. It’s a gift to go to heaven. It’s all paid for by God. Offer to you me free. It was paid for by Christ death and shed blood at the cross of Calvary.

He offers eternal life, not temporary life. It’s eternal life that we receive. And then in thirdly, it says this life. life is in his son. My friend, eternal life is not in the sacraments. If you think so, then you are going to be winding up in hell and obviously you will be surprised that you were terribly wrong. Eternal life is not in the Mass. It is not in communion. It is not in the Christian life. It is not in confirmation.

It is not in walking forward in a church service. It’s not in raising your hand. It’s not in living the Christian life. Eternal life is in God’s Son. And in verse 12, it says it so plainly, He that has the Son has life, He that has not the Son of God has not life. The whole world is divided into two groups, those that believe and those that believe not. When you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, you become saved.

And then 1 John 5, 13, my favorite, a written guarantee. It says these things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God that you may know K-N-O-W, not hope not guess not, perhaps not maybe not think so, want so, hope so. It says you can know so. You can know K-N-O-W-U-H-A-V-E-Have Eternal Life. If you were to die right now, would you go to heaven? You ought to be able to say, yes, I know so.

How do you know so? First, Gun 513. These things God says I have written unto you to believe on the name of the Son of God that you may know so, that you may know that you have everlasting life. I know I have everlasting life and I knew it from the night that I trusted Christ and saw this verse in verse 1, 5, 13, and I don’t know about you, my friend, but if God tells me so, then I know I can know so.

And God tells me I can know that I have everlasting life. Greatest news in all the world. And thank God that you can know it too. Everybody that’s listening. Are you saved forever? If you are not saved forever, you are not saved. That’s right. If you are not saved forever, you are not saved. Again, I’m Dr. Ankerine Klimstron. This is Bible. Great to be with you today. Thanks for tuning in. We’re going to go to the phone lines. If you’re trying to get through, this is the time to start dialing.

And we’ll put you up on the air. We’re going to go to Israel in March. I hope you’ll sign up and go with me. All we need is a $100 deposit to get going. And not until December 12th. Do we need any more money than that? At that point we want half of the money and in 45 days out from the crypto departure, March 12th, March 12th will need the full balance. But this will be trip number 14 for me.

I’d love to have you go. You can call 800 number and have us send you the information or go to the internet site BibleLineMinistries.org. Click on Bibleline News and you can pull down the full itinerary and the sign up sheet and get yourself signed up and let’s go. Let’s go to Israel. be fun we’re going to go down to maryland down in braidon for them hello maryland you’re on the air you’re on the air maryland uh… you have a question go ahead hello hi you’re on the air uh…

i have a question so what who was the first jew the first jew was juda uh… a for him was uh… uh… the first Hebrew he crossed over to the promised the word Hebrew means crossover. His son was Isaac, his grandson was Jacob. Jacob was the first Israelite as Jacob when he wrestled with Christ that night got saved and had his name changed to child of God which is what Israel means. So he became his first Israelite. He had twelve sons.

One of the sons was Judah. It was really not until the Babylonian captivity when Judah being the largest tribe, they began to use the slang Jew instead of saying two syllables, Judah. They said Jew, and so the first Jew was Judah, but… It really wasn’t used as a phrase, Jew, until the Babylonian captivity. Oh, okay, very interesting. Well, I’m glad you asked. So Adam was not a Jew. No, he was not. That’s what I was told at one point that Adam was the first Jew.

No, no, no. Everybody’s a Gentile except for those that are descendant from Abraham through Isaac through Jacob and through his 12 sons. Okay, very good. Thank you so much. Welcome and it was Maryland down in Bradenton, Florida and a lot of times we hear wrong information and certainly Maryland was hearing wrong information in the past. So we are now going to go to Mark somewhere in Florida. I guess that’s a pretty broad one. We have stations all over Florida carrying our program.

We don’t know where Mark is. Mark, welcome to by one. What’s he calling from? From St. Petersburg. St. Petersburg. All right. Welcome. What is the question? And I’ve been listening to you I want to talk about the gift, the spiritual gift that is not in operation anymore. And that’s what I’m calling to understand much better because when I will be Bible, it is funny. It is said that from my understanding we have like a tool. give. I mean, it’s like speaking in tongues.

We have speaking in tongues that we deal with pentacles or the disciples receive, but we have speaking in tongues as a gift. And that the Bible says that the one who speaks in tongues does not speak to men, but is speak to God telling mystery things. That’s in first grade is 14 too, but that is not talking about the the reason reason why he’s not speaking to men is because he’s using the wrong language. When you have the gift of tongues, you’re supposed to speak to the person who understands that language.

So if I have the gift of Russian, I need to talk to Russian people. If I have the gift of Chinese, I need to speak to Chinese people. In Corinth, where in 1 Corinthians 14, 2, Paul was telling them they were acting like little children showing off a gift but not understanding what they were supposed to be doing with it. They spoke in a foreign language that people in Greece, in the city of Corinth, did not understand. And so he said when you speak in Chinese in Corinth, the people don’t understand it.

So God understands Chinese, but you’re just speaking into the air because nobody understands you. The key phrase there is no one understands him. And that’s because he’s speaking in the wrong language. So it was a misuse of the genuine gift. So if I had the gift of Russian and I spoke to an English speaking audience, I would be doing the same thing. I would be speaking to God. He understands Russian. But the people listening in an English speaking audience would not understand Russian and so I would be speaking not unto men because nobody would understand me.

Okay, because when I read the book of 1st Corinthians, chapter 13, it is said that I’m reading my Bible in French. I mean, I try to translate it in French. I mean, to interpret that in English, it is… It is said that the one who, the one who’s speaking tongue, does not speak to man. So… That’s because he’s using the wrong language. For example, if you were to talk in French to me, I wouldn’t understand you. So you wouldn’t be speaking to me, but you would speak to God because he knows French.

But if you were to communicate with me as you’re doing right now, you’re speaking in In my language you are speaking to me in English. Because if you spoke to me in French today on the radio I would have to say I am sorry I have no clue what you are saying. But it is just a mystery to me what you are saying. And that is what 1st Corinthians 14 is saying there. It says it is a mystery. The people in the audience are saying it is a mystery.

What in the world is the guy saying? And if you were speaking to me in French I would say what? What is he saying? I have no clue. Because I would not understand you. But God would not understand French and so he would not understand what you would be saying. It’s not some secret decoder language where you could talk to God. He understands English and he understands French and he understands German. But if you spoke to me in German, I wouldn’t understand it.

I don’t understand German or French, but I do understand English. Absolutely. Okay. The second question I want to ask is about when you said the gift of the operation gift in the church is not working anymore. And you use the scripture about 1st Corinthians chapter 13 where you said that… A-3. 8-10 where it says it would cease. The New Testament was not written. First Corinthians was one of the first written books. In the early days, prior to the New Testament being written, and the first books were written about 20 years after the resurrection of Christ.

So God gave them miraculous gifts to help them through the infancy of the church when it was brand new. So he says, when I was a child, I spake as a child. I understood as a child. thought as a child. But when I became a man, I put away childish things. These special gifts were those childish things that God gave them to help them through their childhood or their infancy as the church began, that Pentecostum began to mature and grow.

It says, but now we see through a glass, darkly, but then that is when the New Testament record would be complete, We would see face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know even as I am known. And of course this word part is used earlier about the gifts. For example in verse 9 it says we know in part that’s the gift of knowledge and we prophesy in part. That’s verse 9 the gift of prophecy.

But when that which is perfect which is the scriptures the New Testament record was finished is come and that which is in part there is that part again shall be done away. So, it’s talking here about the Bible being completed and then we will no longer be like children having a few toys to help us through our childhood, which the gifts were like toys. They were not the complete written Word of God, but when the New Testament was written then we didn’t have to rely upon those childhood gifts that God had given to us in the Embassy of the Church.

All of these seats right there by the end of the first century. Oh, okay. But I mean, when I read here in verse 12, it is settled. Today we know by the What do you mean by the mirror? Not clearly. That was a… That was in AD 50. Now in AD 100, when the book Revelation was finally written and the New Testament record was finished, it says, then we’ll see face to face. When you have the complete Bible, the 27 books of the New Testament in front of you, you don’t need anything else.

It says in 2 Timothy 3 16, all Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable. for one for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction and righteousness, that the man of God might be mature, that’s what we’re talking about here in 1 Corinthians 13, and then it says, throughly furnished or completely furnished, unto all good works. So the Word of God, when it’s complete, is able to completely equip us as a Christian, and we don’t need these gifts any longer.

The gifts were temporary measure until the New Testament record was complete. I thank you so much and I know you just have been looking at this through other lenses of what people are telling you But let me assure you mark the Bible in this chapter and we have a wonderful book here in our Resource Center called The New Testament teaching on tongues by Merle Unger author of the Unger Bible dictionary and numerous other wonderful books he was a great professor and teacher at Dallas theological Seminar and he He exegetes this passage in 1 Corinthians 13 and he demonstrates without a doubt that this is talking about the completion of the New Testament record.

The early church was like a child as the church began at Pentecost and they didn’t have any scripture until around 20 years later. Until the end of the first century the Bible was still not yet complete but when it was completed, then you could see face to face exactly what God would have us to say or know. And the things that were in part, which were these spectacular gifts, would be taken away because we wouldn’t need them anymore. We know in part, we prophesy in part, but when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part, that which is in part shall be done away.

1 Corinthians 13 and 10, it would be gone. Thank you so much. We have Tony in Sarasota, Florida and Tony, welcome to Bibleline you are on the air. Yes, thank you for taking my call. In reference to the tongue, Jim Ann, but speaking to God, people nowadays, would they not say that if they believe that if tongues are still in existence, would they not say, well, we are speaking to God, but then wouldn’t we have to say that it…

Well, it definitely is because you know the gibberish that these people are doing that they claim as tongues, they don’t understand what they do. what they’re saying and nor does anybody else and so they’re not really saying anything. I have a man answering phones right now that used to do the gibberish. He could do it in a heartbeat here without any notice. I could bring him over to the mic and he could gibber for you and you would say, wow, he’s got to give the tongues and you’ll ask him, what are you saying?

He’s absolutely nothing. He was in this movement and he doesn’t. And I have a lot of people in my church have been delivered from this thing and they don’t do the and they really admit that they never had a clue what they were ever saying when they did their jibber and the jibber is not even a language so you’re not communicating with God or anybody else when you do the gibberish but the real gift and God understands English we don’t need a secret you know I remember as a child we get the cereal box and we get that secret secret decoder ring and I was into that and our friends would if you had one of those rings boy you could communicate with one another and God doesn’t need any secret decoder ring or some secret language for you to pray to him.

What I have heard in respecting and gondit churches and been a part of this. I’m sorry to touch off my hair. We’ll be back and we’ll finish our discussion with Tony. Don’t go away. Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. I’m Dr. England Striman. It’s great to be with you. Thanks for tuning in today. and I hope you’re enjoying Bible on. Want you to know we’re going to Israel in March 12th of Monday, coming back March 23rd of Friday.

12 days exclusively in Israel. We’ll have a wonderful time. Trip number 14 for me. Love to have you go with me. We need a hundred dollar deposit to get things going for you. And the trip is a total of $25.95 from Tampa or whatever your departure city would be. If you’re in Chicago, round trip from Chicago, if you’re in St. Louis, round trip from St. Louis, or if you’re in Dallas, round trip from Dallas, or wherever you might depart out of an airport, that’s the round trip from there.

And includes hotels and meals, and everything is included except you’re spending money, and that’s up to you how much you want to spend to bring back things from the Holy Land. But love the heavy go, we’re going to have a great time and we’ll actually walk where Jesus walked and we’ll see the places and see the Bible on location and it just changes your life. There’s nothing like it. I hope you’ll plan to go with me. Go to my website and click on the Bibleline news and you will be able to pull down the itinerary and the signup sheet or you can call the 800 number and our operators will be glad to give you that information.

We are listeners supported if you want to help Bible and we really can use your help. It’s expensive and we don’t have any salaries paid to anybody here with Bible and we are probably the most money efficient ministry out there. We are getting more for the dollar than anybody else that I can think of. And if you want to invest where you’ll get the greatest return for your investment, I I believe spiritually we can use your help by having you invest with Bible on.

Send your gift by mail or call in and give a gift by credit card over the phone. Again, we’re not trying to get your money. We desperately want to get the gospel out and we believe that only as God supplies we can move forward and obviously God is going to have fruit abounding to your account based upon your gift to the Lord. In Philippians 4 17 Paul says not that I desire a gift, but I desire a fruit that may abound to your account.

We’re about ready to do Bible in Part 2. You can catch it on the internet and also of course if your station doesn’t carry the second half you might want to do that. Go to BibleLineMinistries.org and you can catch our television and our radio programs in archive and listen to the day show. as many times as you like. Gotta run, we’ll be back now for Bible and Part 2 in just a moment, so keep your radio dial tuned right where it is.

Here we go Bibleline Part 2. Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. And check that out. We also want you to know we’re leaving for Israel March 12th next year. Love to have you go. We need to get your $100 deposit and we can start things going. And we don’t need any more money until December 12th when we’ll need half of your money. And then 45 days out from the trip departure on March 12th we would need the second half for all of your money paid. But we’d love to have you going to be trip number 14 for me.

We’re going to have a great time and we’re going to walk where Jesus walked and we’re going to see Calvary and the Tomb of Christ and the Sea of Galilee and the Dead Sea and the Mediterranean. We’ll baptize people in the Jordan River. I can’t wait and I’d love to have you on board with me. We’ll have a super, super time. We’re going to tell you some more things but we want to get back to Tony. He’s been holding over from the first half of the broadcast and Tony’s down in Sarasota, Florida, south of us and Tony welcome back to the program in the segment.

Thanks. I’m into the church that I attended growing up and one of the things that they would end that saying is well we don’t they say that they’re talking to God and not to me and I’d be talking in Swahili or something else like that that nobody in the church would know yet at that time the pastor would then say land have an interpretation from have gone to an experience that they also then say well let’s wait for somebody to then interpret since nobody here knows what they’re talking about and where I guess yeah go ahead the problem is is it the interpretation.

If you go to these meetings on a regular basis, the interpretation is the same for whatever anybody says every week. There’s nothing there. There’s a great book out published by Moody Press called Tons to Speak or Not to Speak. It goes with and talks about how those who have investigated this have gone to hundreds of tongue-speaking meetings and recorded the tongue-speaking and the utterances and the interpretations given later, and taken them to different universities to qualified linguists, and they have determined that in no case did they ever hear a genuine language being spoken, and that the interpretations didn’t match up with the tongue-speaking.

In other words, it was usually more lengthy and was not a direct interpretation and was not connected to anything. It was a real language. Basically they said it was repetitious vowel sounds of the person in their own original language that they were born and raised with. So they go, and they just basically repeat different sounds repetitiously. There is no language form. There is nothing being communicated to anybody and much less communication with God. It’s just not happening. The experience is real.

People really enjoy it. I don’t care if people do the gibberish. What bothers me is that they try to tell me that it’s a Christian experience or it’s a biblical experience. That can’t be proven. So if you want to do the gibberish, go ahead and have fun. But when you tell me it’s biblical or a Christian experience, that’s not true. It cannot be supported from the Bible at all. That’s where I stand. I’ve never seen anybody yet speaking a note.

foreign language in the Greek word in axis dialectos it means a specific dialect of a specific language and that’s just not happening. Well thankfully I was kept from that and did not ever experience anything other than we do have family members that had experience that well to say there’s a lot of experiences one can have that are euphoric or whatever but they may not always do age experience. in dealing with different family members sometime. They may not do it anymore and it’s like, well, why don’t you do it anymore?

But anyways, I’m thankful that though I was prayed over many times, it just didn’t seem right. And I do appreciate your show about one more week and serve. Wow. I do appreciate it. Well, you can catch us online up there on the internet. Yeah. And that’ll be great. Tony, thank you so much. And the major issue is really not the gibberish. I don’t really have a problem with that. But when it’s claimed to be a Christian or biblical experience, it’s not.

It’s done by all the world religions. You can also say it’s a Buddhist experience. It’s a Hindu experience. It’s an Islamic experience. And it’s an experience done in a witch’s coven or in a seance. The medium and breaks into this gibberish, it’s simply not from God. And again, salvation is the big issue, and most of these folks don’t have salvation right. And if you don’t get salvation right, nothing else comes out right. Really, that’s our foundation. You must know Jesus as your Savior, and we don’t need a special language to be able to talk to Jesus.

We can talk to him in English, and he understands just fine. We have Mary now in… She’s in Spring Hill, Florida, and Mary, welcome to Bibleline You’re On The Air. Hi, Pastor Hank. I have three things. First of all, I ordered your book, 52 Bible Doctrine by Louis Ferrichefer. Yes. It is amazing. It’s wonderful. I would recommend it to any believer, beginner or older person. person. It just lays a great foundation and Lewis Ferrichet for the author was the founder of Dallas Theological Seminary about a hundred years ago and he wrote this wonderful book of 52 doctrines of the Bible are made so simple every chapter is only about five to seven pages long and just wonderful and easy easy yeah easy to understand you don’t have to be a theologian to read that book and understand what’s going on.

No, you don’t. And my other one was, I have a comment to make, these people that keep calling in saying that they don’t think somebody is safe because they don’t act like they do, isn’t that being proud and arrogant and self-righteous and judgmental? Well not only that, but it’s not the way you determine what their person’s saved because there are some people who appear real wonderful and yet they’re not saved. He says outwardly, he says you’re white and clean, but inwardly he says you’re raving wolves.

They didn’t have the new birth, they had their old nature and they looked good and they were wonderful. In appearance they were white encyclicers, he said, but on the inside they were dead men’s bones. You can’t tell by looking at somebody. You might say, well, Anne Hilda, look at her. If anybody is a Christian, she is always going to church. And then Joe, boy, Uncle Joe, he doesn’t go to church, he’s probably going to hell. And it might be the opposite.

Joe might really be a believer, but the other one who may be trying to earn their way through their righteousness to get them to heaven may not be a believer and may be lost. So we really have to ask the person, what do you believe, what are you trusting in to to get you to heaven. And you might be surprised at the answer you’ll get with somebody you might think as a person not being one and yet somebody who you don’t think as a Christian might really be one.

The Holy Spirit comes in, Ephesians 113 says, having believed you were sealed with the Holy Spirit, Well, technically the filling were in dwelt with the Holy Spirit at the moment, we believe not. That’s what he meant. He obviously wasn’t saved till seven years later, or he’s still confused and not saved at all. But the moment you trust Christ, the Holy Spirit comes in. Ephesians 1.13 says, having believed you were sealed with the Holy Spirit, a promise. That’s simultaneous with belief.

You receive the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 1.13. But the filling has to do with control. We have all the Holy Spirit where ever going to get at the moment we believe. But the Holy Spirit doesn’t have all of us in the sense that to the degree that we are yielded to obey the Lord, to that degree we are filled or controlled by the Holy Spirit, the best verse that gives us the idea or the concept is Ephesians 5, 18 where it says be not drunk with wine, wherein it’s excess but be filled with the Holy Spirit.

Obviously, if you drink a lot of wine, you become under the influence of the alcohol. But if you are contrasting that with the filling, when you are yielded or under the influence of the Holy Spirit, you’re filled with a spirit to the degree that you allow him to control your life. So maybe he never did a thing for God until seven years later. But it sounds to me like he’s probably got bad doctrine and is thinking about the indwelling, which happens at the moment you believe.

with the impression I got. He got saved and then he got in dwelt with the Holy Spirit seven years later. A lot of churches teach that the receiving of the Holy Spirit is a subsequent experience of salvation that is not demonstrated from the Bible. If you don’t have the Holy Spirit, you’re not saved. Romans 8 and 9 says, if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And so if you don’t have the Holy Spirit, you’re not saved.

So he wasn’t saved till seven years later and I still would question whether he was because the doctor does so unsound in that presentation that I don’t know if he still understands salvation from what I’m hearing. I would doubt it. I’d have to grill him some more to make sure. Okay. Thank you and I appreciate your ministry very much. Thank you so much Mary and God bless you and we now have Vinny in Hudson Florida and If any, welcome to Bibleline you are on the air.

Good morning, Dr. Lefk. Good morning. Um, Halloween evening, I went out and saw a movie and I would highly recommend everybody see this movie. It’s called One Night with the King and it’s a biblically based story and it’s done fairly well and it sticks pretty much to the Bible theme. I was impressed and it was just a great movie to see. Well, thank you for sharing that with me. I know the story of Esther is a wonderful story of God using this woman to save the nation of Israel as Haman wanted to see the whole nation destroyed.

I was Satan trying to kill the people that would bring about the Messiah. Had he been successful, there may have been no Jesus. Of course, we know that God was overriding and would never let that happen. Jesus came through the Jewish people and Satan attempted many times even before the store of Esther to destroy all the Jewish people and to prevent the Messiah from ever coming. It was done by the Pharaoh in Egypt as he killed all the baby boys in the Nile River.

That was an attempt to prevent this nation from going forward and to prevent the Messiah from coming. Exactly. interesting. I read the book of Esther before seeing the movie and I found fascinating. The Lord’s name is never mentioned in that book but it is sprinkled throughout the whole story. It’s fascinating. It really is. Vinnie, thank you for sharing that with us and maybe some of our listeners will go see it. I’ve got one question. Jesus is coming back when the gospel message has been spread throughout the whole world.

Is that how I see it? That’s the second coming, but not so for the rapture. Okay. Okay. That was my question. I was wondering if Matthew 24, Matthew 24 14 says this gospel of the kingdom which is not being preached now will be preached in all the world for a sign and then the end of the tribulation period will come in Christ will return back to the earth. Okay. Have a great day. Thank you so much for calling in today from Hudson Florida.

We have some offer questions. I’m going to try to roll through some of these. Off-air Diane calls in from Tampa, Florida. And she says as reading. Nailings such as Tomorrow’s World and Plain Truth magazines is that wrong? Those are really from the Worldwide Church of God. I wouldn’t read those things. I used to collect them years ago and Herbert W. Armstrong is now dead, but he’s founded this which is basically was a cult group It was a combination of Jehovah’s Witness doctrine seven to Adventist doctrine and a cult called British Israelism and everything was wrong about it.

They didn’t believe in hell, like the Joe’s witnesses and the 70th Adventist don’t believe in hell, and numerous other big major doctrinal errors. It has been carried on now pretty much by his son garnered Ted Armstrong. I remember hearing him on the radio as he was even the voice on the radio during the days of Herbert Armstrong when he was alive. The world tomorrow with your radio host You’re in a ten-hour strong coming to you out of Pasadena, California.

Anyway, stay away from the whole thing. It’s although they claim they have reputed some of their false doctrines, most of the reports I get from people that have been in it are, they’re still in it, even though some of the leadership have reputed what many of the teachings of Herbert Armstrong, most of the people taught that way still retain those beliefs. Alright, we have Brian in Tampa, Florida, calling in, leaving a question off here. He says in Romans 718, it says, Paul says, in my flesh dwelt, no good thing.

Does this imply that the Holy Spirit dwells in us in a way other than in our bodies? No, the Holy Spirit is in dwelling the believer. But notice the qualification near Paul says in my flesh, our old nature is connected with this body. And it’s a sinful nature inherited to us from Adam. At the same time the Holy Spirit falls in us, and if you read that chapter carefully, it is the Holy Spirit in us that gives us victory over sin and over the old nature.

So as a believer, for the first time you can have power to have victory over sin in your life. That doesn’t mean you can live sinless. You will constantly have a struggle. As Paul goes on to say in Romans 7 and 19, the good that I would, I do not put the evil that I would not, that I do. He’s fighting, struggling, and this is written about thirty years after he was saved, and Paul is still having a problem with sin.

That’s because we have a sin nature in us and in our flesh, in our body, dwell with no good thing. And of course, if you are a believer, the Holy Spirit dwells within you. And that is of course the power that we can have to have victory over our sin nature. nature. Our flesh nature is evil or has a bent to sinning, you might say. Alright, we have a caller from Tampa Antoine is on the line, and Antoine, welcome to my Hey, good morning.

On the question of tongues, this morning I heard you answered many of those questions, but I’m agreeing with the most of everything you’re saying, that I would be… a little careful about that tongue question. To me, tongue is when the Holy Spirit speaks too great of the Holy Spirit. when he speak, it’s the same as it spoke in the day of Pentecost. His language, when he speaks, everybody of all nation, of all language, one person speaking, they all hear him in their language.

But that in Peter’s two- But that cannot be supported in the scripture, it doesn’t say that. And when the Holy Spirit prays according to the Bible, it is not heard by anybody except the Lord himself. If you read Romans 8, and this is a verse that the tongue speaking people use, it says in verse 26 of Romans 8, likewise the Spirit also help with our infirmities, for we know not what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself makeeth intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

And I have been in meetings where people would pray and they would be groaning and I would ask them, what are you normally doing? They say that’s the Holy Spirit. And according to my verse here that I’m reading in my Bible, it says that the Holy Spirit intercedes with us, intercedes for us with groanings, Romans 826. With groanings and it says in the last phrase here, which cannot be uttered. In other words, they’re not audible. If one peep comes out of your mouth, you can know it’s not from God.

Okay? That is the Holy Spirit. When he prays for us in their seeds on our behalf, it’s with groanings which cannot be uttered. They cannot be heard. They’re not audible. And that’s not what’s happening. And also on the gift of tongues in Acts 2, it wasn’t the gift of hearing. It was the gift of speaking. in a specific dialect. And people heard in their language because the disciples were speaking in Gentile languages from the people there from all over the world that had come from the despor to Jerusalem to celebrate Pentecost.

And they heard the Gospel. It says in the language that they were born and raised with. And it wasn’t the gift of hearing, it was the gift of speaking in their language that you meet about. That can only be done by the Holy Spirit when you speak Peter stood up in the day of Pentecost He said this is that as in the Greek when you said this is that it’s an example of what A joy spoke of that will be happening in the last day.

It will be happening again Because it’s mentioned in fact 13 when you are absolutely right, but it won’t happen until after Jesus comes at his second coming If you read that quote from Joel chapter 2, it says there that, and if you read the context of the chapter, Russia will be wiped out at the Battle of Armageddon. Christ will come back and place his feet on the ground and rule the earth from Jerusalem. And it says, after that, after that, you have to notice, it says after that, after Russia hasn’t been destroyed yet, and Jesus isn’t back ruling from Jerusalem yet.

in Joel chapter 2, after that, then he will pour out his Spirit and it says upon all flesh. And that hasn’t happened yet because most of my neighbors don’t have the Holy Spirit. I wish they did. But when Christ comes back at the Second Coming, he destroys all unbelievers, only believers are left, and he’s going to pour out his Holy Spirit on every person on the planet because they’ll only be saved remaining. And so all of that is still yet future and the movement today is a counterfeit.

And Jesus told us about that in Matthew 24, 24. He says there shall arise in the last days before I come back, false preachers, and they shall show great signs and wonders or miracles in so much of it were possible they would deceive the very elect. And we’re watching this counterfeit movement right now. The false preachers are the ones doing the signs and miracles. He didn’t say genuine believers would be doing that. But after Russia is destroyed, after Christ is returned, after Christ is destroyed, all the unbelievers on the earth, after Christ does this have his kingdom, then he’ll pour on his spirit upon every human being on the planet and enthaun that is still to come.

We’ve got to move to the next caller because of time we have John in Clearwater and John welcome to Bibleline you’re on the earth. Hello John. John, you’re there. Yes. Go ahead. Go ahead. Go ahead. Hi. Don’t listen to the radio, please. Oh, is this Pastor Hank? Yeah, we’re on the air. Oh, okay good. Pastor Hank, I have very two important questions I want to ask you. The first question is on Noah’s Ark. Were there dinosaurs that were on the Ark?

That’s my first question. The second question that I had was that if God destroyed every living thing on this, how would it say for example in the United States that there are animals roaming in the world? In the lions, rattlesnakes, I’m just very curious about that and I’m going to get up. Well on the art God had two of every kind, every species on the earth and obviously there can be lots of varieties within species but there’s been no evolution.

And I believe that the dinosaurs were all in the original creation. I believe in Genesis 1-1 God created the earth perfect and inhabited and ruled over by all of God’s angels here on the planet earth, not in heaven, and that God destroyed this earth in Genesis 1-2 because of Satan’s sin and then the earth remained garment for quite a long time until just 6,000 years ago God put man on the planet and the seven days were a recreative week.

So I believe that… He was probably no dinosaurs at all on the ark and dinosaurs were all wiped out 65 million years ago when an asteroid struck in the peninsula that had about 125 mile diameter. I have several CDs that cover my teaching on that, but the Bible talks about the 2 Peter chapter 3, a former earth that was destroyed, a present earth that picks up from Genesis 1 and 2 where the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters that will remain until after the thousand year reign of Christ, and then the earth will be destroyed and it talks about a new heavens and a new earth.
