Good morning and welcome to Bibleline. Great to be with you today. Thanks for tuning into the broadcast. We’re coming to you live from Tampa, Florida from our studios right here at the Calvary Community Church where I’m the pastor. We look forward to being with you each and every day as we come to you live from our studios here. You’re always welcome to be with us. We’d love to have you come by and say hi. Our resource centers open every until about 4.30 in the afternoon.
And we would love to have you come by and visit our resource center and we’ll get a chance to meet you and you’ll get a chance to meet us. I think it’d be great. So come on by. We’re right next to the airport. So we’re easy to find. And if you could find Tampa’s International Airport, you’ll be able to find us. That’s exciting, isn’t it? And come on by. We’d love to meet you. And of course, you can always come on a worship day on a Wednesday or you can come by on Sunday.
We hope you will and we thank you so much for listening to Bibleline. By the way, on the internet right now, our program is up on the internet streaming live at this moment. Also, it goes into archive and you’ll be able to catch this program and other programs as often as you will 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from anywhere in the world. So far 150 countries have logged in and were excited about the audience that is growing through the internet.
On July or whether it was June I think 29th or 30th we had 29,000 downloads just on that one day of our radio show. We were quite impressed with that. You’re welcome to go and download our shows in the MP3 format for your iPod and in your computer just click on that spinning globe on the home page. The website address is BibleLineMinistries.org.com. That’s BibleLineMinistries.org.com. When the Gospel of John tonight will be teaching two more hours, you’re welcome if you’re driving distance to come out and sit in tonight.
If you live in another part of the country you can call and see how to get on the site. You’ll need a passcode. You’ll need to sign up to take the class, but we’d love to have you taking it live and then of course viewing it as often as you like it’s available. The Gospel John, I think is going to be the longest one we’ve done. It’s such a wonderful book. We’ll be teaching class 13 and 14 tonight and that means 14 hours of teaching.
I think we’re going to have to do one more week to really finish it up with all the wonderful truths that are in there. It might turn out to be an 18 hour teaching on the Gospel of John. So keep that in mind. By the way, we do have a lot of wonderful resources in our Resource Center. We have the Strong’s Concordance which is really a gem of a book. It’s about two and a half, three inches thick and a small print and it has every word and the entire Bible.
Every the, every now, every and, every butt, every shout is right there. By number code system you’ll be able to find the original Hebrew or Greek and you’ll be able to see See how it’s translated, what it means, and so on. By the way, you can also do that on my website when you go to the Bible we have there. It’ll have the little number right next to each word and you click on that and it’ll bring you the Hebrew word from the original and tell you the definition for it.
And you’ll, I’m sure, just have a ball using that feature on my website, Bibleline Ministries. We have the Scofield Bible which is what I recommend. We have it in a soft cover, hard cover, leather, large print, and I think that the Scofield Bible is the best reference Bible out there. And we have that in the King James translation. And I think you’ll find it one of the best study aids that you’ll ever get into. Plus, we have about 40 presentations of different classes I’ve taught over the years and we have everything from books to the Bible like the book Revelation, the book of Daniel, the book of Matthew Genesis and so on and so on.
But also we do have CD series on topics like how to lead souls to Christ. That was a powerful one. If you want to know how to lead a soul to Christ, wow. This is the course for you. I remember when I was teaching it about the fourth week in several said hey we have taken several evangelism classes from different sources and this is the first time we’re actually able in just a few classes able to go really right out and lead people to Christ.
We also have on topics like the Holy Spirit the Rapture in time controversies in time. and the second coming and numerous others I think you’ll find very exciting including my course on parables and parables were given not to reveal truth but to conceal truth and so this is a great class where we teach how to interpret the parables and basically cover some of the major parables so that you at least are a jump started so that you don’t go astray because most people who spend a lot of time teaching vina parables have bad doctrine because the parables enable them to be able to make them say whatever they want them to say.
That’s why parables are not to be relied upon as your primary source. Jesus said that he spoke in parables that seeing they might see and not perceive and hearing they might hear and not understand less than any time they should be converted and their sins should be forgiven. You can read that in Mark 4 and Jesus clearly said he spoke in parables to conceal truth and you see that in all the gospels. Most people have that wrong. Most people think parables were spoken to tell a story to make something really clear.
Opposite is true, he spoke in parables to conceal truth. Well, in any case, check with our bookstore. You can call the 800 number and ask for a resource list to be sent to you and you’ll have a listing of everything. Also, you can go on the website, BibleLineMinistries.org.com and you can find right there is the online bookstore. everything that we have pictures and descriptions and you can order off of the website as well.
We’re going to get into the Bible for a little bit and then we’ll take our collars. We already have people lined up ready to go so we will talk about that in just a minute. Jesus is coming again. We could be very, very close. In fact, the Feast of Trumpets is coming up right around the corner on September 12th. Now I’m not a date setter, but let me tell you this, whatever year Jesus comes, he probably will come on that feast day.
And that means we have about two weeks left, and we’re out of here, if the Lord were to come this year. Now, listen carefully, I didn’t set the date for this year. But if he doesn’t come this year, you say, well, what will you do then? Well, when I watch next year, and what if he doesn’t come then? Well, I’ll watch the following year, But there are seven feast days that God gave in Leviticus 23. Each of them are a forecasting of the future, a picture of a prophetic event that would be fulfilled by Christ.
The first four are already fulfilled and they were fulfilled on the day. That’s right. The feast of Passover. That was the first. And Jesus died exactly when Israel was offering up their Passover Lamb. What an amazing fulfillment as the Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 5-7, for even Christ, our Passover, is sacrificed for us. Then we find that the Feast of Unleavened Bread Fall, that spoke of the body of Christ, and that spoke of his burial. And it’s exactly right when the Feast of Unleavened Bread was held that Christ was bearing.
In the next feast, the third feast was the feast of first fruits. And we find that spoke of the resurrection. And guess what? Jesus rose from the dead on the feast of first fruits day, which always occurred on a Sunday. Isn’t that remarkable? And you know the Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 15 verse 20, now is Christ risen from the dead and become the first fruits of them that slept. He fulfilled the feast of first fruits by rising from the dead on that feast day.
That was the third feast day. Everyone happens right on the money. The fourth one was the feast of Pentecost. That marked the beginning of this age that we’re in now, the church age, the dispensation or age of grace. And it began exactly On the 50th day, the word Pentecost means 50 days from the resurrection of Christ or from the feast of first fruit day. Christ was raised from the dead on the feast of first fruit and then 50 days later The Holy Spirit came to begin the church age to dwell believers permanently.
That happened exactly on the day. It says in Acts 2, when the day of Pentecost was fully come, then the Holy Spirit came and all of the believers received the Holy Spirit at that moment. And during this whole age, every believer, at the moment of belief, receives the Holy Spirit. There are three more feast days. They all occur in the fall of the year and they speak of second coming events. Now why wouldn’t we think that they will also be fulfilled literally on the day as the first four were fulfilled literally on the day?
I think there definitely is a connection there. And the next one I believe concludes the church age. As Pentecost began the church age, the next feast, the feast of trumpets which is coming up September 12th. This is the feast I think that marks the closing of this age. It’s a picture of the rapture. The rapture I believe will happen whatever year it takes place on that feast date. If it happens this year, my friend, we’re out of here in just about twoocrinies.
This is not exciting. Are you ready? Have you done your rapture practice? Always tease and tell people, you know, get in a private place where nobody is looking and kind of rock back and forth on your toes and heels and kind of raise your arms and kind of flap them a little bit and have some fun with it. But you know, it’s true that the rapture is going to happen. Every believer is going to fly away. We’re going to be caught up to meet the Lord in the air.
And that could happen maybe this year. Wouldn’t that be something? And if it does, it’ll probably happen on that feast day. The sixth feast is the Feast of Atonement, a picture of the tribulation period of Israel atoning for her sins over the past thousands of years. And very not seven years, God is going to prepare Israel to receive her Messiah. And the seventh feast is the Feast of Tabernacles, a picture of Christ coming tabernacleing among us in a human body, living on the earth in a human body, ruling over the earth as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Are you ready? I am. I think it could be this year. I’m not a date setter, but I always like to say Jesus is coming and I believe very soon. Perhaps sooner than any of us have imagined, are you ready? Well, if you’re a believer, you are. The key is in 1 Thessalonians 4 14. It says, if we believe that Jesus died and rose again. in rose again. That’s the gospel. The good news message of the death, the barrel, the resurrection of Christ.
And when you believe that gospel, that really means to trust that Jesus died for you. Shit his blood, paid your sin debt and full was buried in rose again from the dead. When you do that, God says he saved you. And if you are saved and living when Christ returns, you’ll be part of those that are caught up to meet the Lord near. Citing stuff. I hope you’ve trusted Christ as your very own Savior. Well this is Bibleline, the material in the phone number is 1-800-576-3771, 1-800-576-3771.
We’re going to our callers. We have Harold in Tampa, Florida waiting patiently and Harold, welcome to Bibleline. You are on the air. Good morning sir. Good morning. Hi, it’s I’m a prompting disturbing with the Jehovah with Michael the Arch-Ain. Well you know that is true not only the Jehovah’s Witnesses but also LNG White founder of the Seventh-day Adventist teach that Michael the Archangel is Christ and obviously this is very denigrating to the Trinity and obviously to the personRegistered of Christ and his deity.
Jesus Christ is not an angel, but according to the Bible, Jesus Christ is God himself who came and took on a human body. You can’t escape it. In John 1-1, it says, in the beginning was the Word. And that’s talking about Jesus, the second member of the God had the eternal Son of God. It says, in the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God the Word was God and if you drop down to verse 14 in John’s Gospel chapter 1 it says and the Word was made flesh.
God was made flesh. God was made flesh and dwelt among us. The Bible tells us. So Jesus is actually God. Think about it this way. 2000 years ago, God the Creator of the universe made a visit to the planet earth. He was actually here on the earth in a human body for 33 years. Isn’t that incredible? John 1 chapter 1 verse 10 says, He was in the world and the world was made by Him. him and yet the world knew him not.
Isn’t that incredible? You know, men are looking out of space for life and yet the one who created life, that created the universe, actually made a visit here to the earth and was here for 33 years. And for the most part, the world did not recognize it. And that’s what it says in John 1 10. He was in the world and the world was made by him and the world knew him not. Wow, it’s exciting. Jesus is clearly God, he says in John 1030, I and my Father are one.
He says in verse 28 that he gives to the believer’s eternal life, they’ll never perish, and neither shall any pluck them out of his hand. Then he says in verse 29, my Father which gave them me is greater than all, and no one is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. And then he says in verse 30, I and my Father are one. Now the Jewish audience that was listing the Christ on that occasion knew exactly what he meant because they took up stones to stony men.
Jesus of course says, many good works have I done for my Father for which those good works do you stone me? And they said the ones listing for good work we stony not but for blasphemy because of thou being a man, make us thyself God. He knew his claim. And Jesus could have corrected everybody. He said, oh, wait a minute. I never intended to imply that I was God. But Jesus let it stand. Jesus is God who took on human flesh.
He is the Savior. He is not Michael Archangel. And by the way, in Hebrews 1-5, it says, God never called an angel his son. So you can’t have Jesus being the Son of God and an angel at the same time. Totally, totally bad doctrine. The Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Seventh-Dad Didice both teach this false doctrine concerning Christ. And by the way, in 1 John 2 and verse 21-22 it says, He the denyth the Son, the same hath not the Father.
What does that mean? It means the witnesses and the Adventists are lost. They do not have God the Father. They are fatherless or without God. In 2nd John it’s also clear where it says, if you do not abide in the doctrine of Christ, you don’t even have God. Now that makes me very concerned for the the Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Seven Deadness, which really are godless according to 2 John verse 9. Look at it for yourself. It says, if you don’t abide in the doctrine of Christ, you do not have God.
1 John 2, 23 says you don’t even have the Father. And so they are Jehovahless and they’re Fatherless and they’re godless according to the Bible. Thank you for that question and we’ll go now to Benjamin in Clearwater, Florida. Benjamin, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. I have two questions here. First is the winner. They push in the first half week or they push the seven year completed. And the second one is the 144,000. Deep. They preach all the seven.
Alright, Benjamin, that’s a good question. During the tribulation period, after the rapture, there will be 144,000 Jewish men that will be witnessing and they will only witness for the first three and a half years and then they are martyred and they are seen next in heaven for the second three and a half years of the tribulation period. By the way, the Jehovah’s Witnesses claim they are the 144,000. Guess what? The seven-edged Venice also say that they’re the 144,000. Guess what?
Neither one are. To be one of the hundred forty or thousand you have to be Jewish, you also have to be male and you have to be a virgin. So that disqualifies most if you are female, you can’t be one and a hundred forty-four thousand. Unless you’re Jewish and you claim that you’re from one of the twelve tribes that have descended from Abraham, you’re not one. And also you have to be a virgin male or you cannot qualify as well.
That’s all clear in Revelation. Also, the two witnesses in Revelation 11, Benjamin, are going to witness for the first three and a half years. It tells us they’ll witness for 42 months or 1260 days. That’s three and a half years. And then they are also martyred, as they will be killed in the streets of Jerusalem by the Antichrist halfway through the tribulation period. Thank you for that call. And we now are going to wane in Tampa, Florida. We welcome to Bibleline you’re on there.
morning. may. What’s going on you got a question. I have three questions. All right. The Mason second was a Bible called a writer. I’ll take a look at all those questions for you. The first one I think are you still there Wayne? Yes. What is that first one? The first one. Yeah. About the Mason. Yeah okay the mason. We have a great book here in our resource center called the Facts on Masonry and it is really a religion and it is a false religion and it’s mainly false because it teaches works for salvation and unfortunately it is not scriptural, not biblical, they have secret rights and other things that are really anti the Bible.
It’s something that you really ought to check on if you’re being approached to be a mason. I would certainly get this little fact book. It’s only about $6 in our bookstore here, but it will begin the unfolding and unraveling of this series. Also, the Ryrie Study Bible, I like it. Charles Ryrie is an excellent Bible teacher, and we have a number of his books in our Resource Center, and I like the Ryrie Study Bible very, very much, but I recommend the Scofield above that.
And so that’s where I stand with Pat, but I do like the rivalry battle. What was the third question? The third one was about Adrian Rogers. Adrian Rogers. I like Adrian, it was pretty good. I’ll tell you. Sometimes the gospel would be a little confused and sometimes they’d tell you to invite Christ in your heart. That is not biblical. It is amazing how many people have been led to believe that or use that because they were raised in that environment.
I was a victim of that. I was told to invite Christ into my heart. I did that until I was eighteen, probably six hundred times before I ever got saved. You are not saved by asking to be saved. You are not saved by inviting Christ in your heart. only saved when you believe the gospel. It means you have to trust that Jesus died and shed his blood and paid your sin dead and full with buried in rose again from the dead.
You can ask to be saved and still go to hell. And that is something that’s difficult for some able to comprehend. If you read Luke’s gospel, you’ll find that both thieves that were crucified with Christ both asked to be saved. Only one was, that was the one that trusted Christ. So, they both asked. So, you can ask Christ to save you, you can plead with Christ to save you, you can beg Christ to save you, and still go to hell.
Unless you trust that Christ died and shed his blood and paid for your sin death and full, you will not. You will not enter heaven. So, I hope that helps Wayne. Thank you so much for your call. Alright, that was Wayne in Tampa, Florida. Florida. We now have Adam and he’s in Tampa, Florida. Adam, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Yes, my question, Matthew, and then John, but it’s about Matthew 3, 14, it says that John forbade. And then if you look in John’s gospel, it says that in 32 verse 32, John Deerekord saying that’s all the spirit to send him heaven on him like a dove and it bowed on him and I knew him not but he that sent me to that prize with honor said on the knee John upon whom he should see the set seems like John didn’t even know before he baptized them you explain that
I’ll hang up and listen well I think he absolutely got confirmation when the Holy Spirit came upon him but this is the one that he had been announcing that would come and died to pay for the sins of the world John here says. Behold the Lamb of God which take the way to sin the world in verse 29. That’s prior to what you’re reading here later. He’s talking about here Christ being the one that was existed before John ever was born.
Jesus Christ being the eternal God. And certainly it was manifest or made known or revealed very openly openly that he was the Savior when the Holy Spirit came and lighted on him at that instant. So I don’t think there’s any contradiction. I think it’s a full manifestation or revelation of that event. Thank you for that call, Adam, and that was Adam in Tampa, Florida. We’d love to hear from you. We have Lloyd in Clearwater, Florida, and Lloyd, welcome to Bibleline.
Are you there, Lloyd? Yes. Okay. You’re on the air. Okay, got a big question about coming out of the Rapture. I would have believed in that it’s only going to be Jewish men that come out of the Rapture. I mean… I’m in Jewish, people? Absolutely not. No, the raptures of every believer everywhere that’s going to meet the Lord in the air. And then following, millions will get saved. But God is going to go back to using Israel as his evangelist.
And the Jewish evangelist during the tribulation period will be Jewish. But it says in Revelation 7, 9, I saw a great multitude with no man to the number of all nations and kinens and tongues and they become saved as a result of the evangelism of 140,000. We’ve got to go to break. We’re going to come back and do a second half hour of Bible. So we hope that you keep your radio tuned right where it is and we’ll come right back after this short break.

So turn 2 or click on that camera or the television set or the spinning globe and that’s on BibleLineMinistries.org.com and that’s our website.
I think you’ll find that really enjoyable. So I’m going to be able to be with you. I want to thank all of you who pray for us, all those of you that give to us. We are totally dependent upon you. We have a partnership that’s really real. We don’t have another source. We don’t have another means of income. So this program is on the air because of you and thank God for you. And if you’d like to help us, we’re still in that lean summer month time and we could really use your help at this time.
It would really be great to come out of the summer on our feet and we need your help to do that. You could send a gift to Bibleline by mail. Will you consider praying for us or helping us. This is a critical time for us and we’re trying to come out of the summer on our feet. And your gift would be really appreciated at this time. Especially if you’d like to see the program continue in your area. And we don’t want to ever cut an area but we might have to if we don’t have so much more power.
area and we don’t want to ever cut an area but we might have to if we don’t have the support we need. We’re going to join the other stations now and do a second half hour so stay tuned for Bible and Part 2. Alright we’re back from that break and here we are with Bible and coming to you live from Tampa, Florida. We’re going to our studios here at the Calvary Community Church where I’m the pastor. So come out tonight, be my guest sit in. You can also, of course, get the CD series when we’re finished. Right now, it looks like it might be a 16 or 18 or an 18-hour teaching with by the time we finish it up and we’re not really going to erase this. We’re going to just do a good job on it. We hope if you’re in the area you’ll come by and see us. By the way, our TV programs are on our internet site.

Check that out. I think you’ll enjoy it. Our last Sunday sermon is there plus about six months worth of sermons. Enjoy and look at those and listen to them as often as you will. Want to welcome all those areas that are listening to my blend and especially when I welcome the listeners up in the Jacksonville area.
That’s a new station for us and we have a call we’re waiting from Jacksonville. We’ll be talking to you in just a moment. But we’re on station there that carries us all the way over to the I-75 corridor including Lake City, Gainesville and so on and so we’re excited about all of you listening in the Jacksonville area and everything all the way over to the West and in parts of Southern Georgia and also down beyond St. Augustine to the South and Welcome to Bible Eye.
We’re so glad to have you as a newer part of our audience up in that area. In any case, again, you’re welcome to listen every day. You can call your friends and let them know about the program. We had one couple come all the way over from Sanford, Florida, and they told us that nearly their entire church listens to Bible Eye every day. That’s marvelous. Wow. I was so flattered and we are so grateful that God is using Bibleline to minister to people all over, not only Florida, but many other states and cities across America and through the Internet around the world.
We’re going to go to Mark right now. He’s up in Jacksonville, Florida. If you want to call in the numbers 1-800-576-3771, that’s 1-800-576-3771. Mark in Jacksonville, Florida. Welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Thank you Pastor. You’re a blessing. My question, I’m just doing some studying today. I’m just, you know, the gospel of the kingdom. And see, I forget where that’s at. It says when it’s preached in all the world, the gospel of the kingdom. Could you kind of elaborate on that or clarify it?
I can take the answer off the air. Okay. Our market is in the Mantis Gospel and it says it’s the Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven. And that’s different than the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of Heaven The Kingdom of Heaven The kingdom of the heavens. There’s a time coming when the heavens will rule over the earth. That’s when Jesus comes back. You and I are living believers now. We’ll be either die and go and be with the Lord or be raptured up if we’re living when he comes.
I think that’s very soon. We’ll come back as Christ’s bride and we’ll help him rule and reign for a thousand years. So we’ll have heavenly beings and we’ll also have Christ here, God and flesh, on the earth for the thousand years. And then of course we’ll have people in their mortal bodies that get saved during the tribulation period that will enter that thousand years. So basically the next event on God’s program is the Rapture. Then there’ll be seven years of tribulation where God will prepare Israel to receive her king.
Then we have Christ coming and the thousand year earthly rule of Christ where He will rule over the earth as King of kings and Lord of lords from Jerusalem. And at that point the earth will be at peace from then on out. While this message of the kingdom was a message to Israel that if they had received their Messiah as king, when Christ came the first time that kingdom would have been established. And by the way, it was a message that was exclusively sent to Israel.
You’ll find this interesting. If you go over to John, rather, Matthew’s Gospel chapter 10, we find the Christ picks out his twelve disciples and he sends them out. And then it says here, he tells them in verse 5, these twelve, Jesus sent forth and commanded them saying, go not, go not, go not into the way of the Gentiles and into any city of the Samaritans, inner you not, but go rather to the law sheep of the house of Israel.
And as you go preach, here it is, Mark saying, the kingdom of heaven is at hand. So the kingdom of heaven has to do with the millennium and it’s obviously connected to Israel, the nation that Christ would come back and be king over and establish this kingdom that would benefit everybody on the earth. So we find that it’s a message not being preached today. It’s a message that is not really to be preached right now because it has to do, you know, there’s a lot of bad theology out there today.
A lot of churches mix everything up. They don’t rightly divide the word of truth and they talk about kingdom music, kingdom power, kingdom this, kingdom that, kingdom prayer. You hear that word Kingdom a lot if you are listening and scanning the dial, but that’s technically wrong because we’re in the church age and we have Christ not as our King, but He’s the head of the church. He’s the King of Israel. And once the Rapture happens, this message of the Kingdom of Heaven will again be preached on the earth during the seven years of tribulation.
But that is a message that is really not for right now. Our message is of course Christ’s crucified buried and risen again from the dead and that He’s coming back for His bride at the rapture and that Christ is the head of the church, not the king of the church. But if you’re rightly dividing the Bible, the message of the kingdom ceased to be preached and will not be preached again till the tribulation period. In Matthew 24 it says that during the tribulation this message of the kingdom will be preached into all the world for a sign and then the end of the tribulation period will come and that is not now.
It’s still future but if the rapture happens in a couple of weeks here it will start being preached I believe by the hundred four to four thousand during the tribulation period. Thank you again for calling in Mark from Jacksonville, Florida. We now have Eddie down in Auburndale or across in Auburndale Florida. Eddie, welcome to the Bible and you are on the air. Yes, Dr. Hank, how are you doing today? I have a question on marriage. I don’t even believe in women pastoring, so my wife’s cousin, well I need to ask a question.
My wife’s cousin was married by one preacher. Would the marriage still be valid or would it be null and void? No, it’s still valid and especially if you’ve got a wedding license and everything is signed and sent in it’s valid wedding. Women are intruding in things where they shouldn’t be and that’s something in the Bible that you always find is warned against. In fact, the in-time church is called the woman, the woman, the woman, the woman, the woman. I think you see how God will judge that church.
But no, the marriage is fine, but really men are to be the ones carrying out the spiritual responsibilities, not the women. What’s the question about marriage? If you’re in the process of divorce and your spouse is not having physically cheated on you but maybe having a relationship with somebody else over the telephone or I get a time to just leave the marriage or the apartment with it would ever be right to just depart. Well, you know, God hates divorce.
He once marriages to be restored if possible. And obviously, I’m That probably needs to be addressed perhaps that wife needs counseling and maybe the two need to get counseling together. But certainly God would hope for restoration. One of the most amazing stories in the Bible to me is that of Hosea. Hosea was a picture of God’s love for Israel. Israel, spoken of as the wife of Jehovah in the Old Testament, and as Israel was very unfaithful and played the harlot and was having intercourse with false gods and false religions, she was an adulterous wife.
And yet God still loved her and he used Hosea as an example. Hosea married a woman who was obviously playing the harlot and was an adulterous woman. We find that that Hosea dearly loved her and and gave up everything that he had to restore that marriage and It’s a beautiful love story That divorce does not have to be the alternative but restoration can take place and so you might want to read the story of the Hosea but sometimes Divorce is the only solution Unfortunately because of the hardness of men’s hearts Jesus said clearly in Matthew chapter 19 that from the beginning it was not so that man should have a divorce but God because of the hardness of their hearts gave Moses a writing of divorcement where a person could divorce but he gave that divorce for uncleanness or fornication actually the Greek word is
Pornea for which we get the word pornography from, and it means any kind of sexual and cleanness, including incest, bestiality, homosexuality, all of those would be considered the same as adultery or giving grounds for divorce. But ideally, if people can be restored to get back on track with award that would be what God would want for you I’m sure. Okay thank you, thank you. You’re so welcome thank you for calling in. We are now going to go to Monica in Deltona Beach Florida and Monica welcome to my one.
You’re on the air. Yes good morning Dr. Lindstrom. I recently moved to Florida and I really enjoy listening to you. You’re such a blessing. Thank you. Dr. Lynch, on the first half of the program, you spoke about parables, but you will elaborate on that. I’m a little confused. Well, you’re not the only one. Let me just have you turn in your Bible if you have it there or just listen. But in Mark’s Gospel, one of the clear passages that says it about as plainly as you’ll ever read it.
You have Christ here giving the parable of the sower. In this explanation here, it says in verse 10, well, first he says unto them in verse 9, he then have ears to hear, let him hear. And that’s talking about spiritual ears. To be able to hear the word of God. You know the unsaved man really doesn’t understand much about the Bible and cannot because it’s spiritually discerned. And so he’s asking that if you are saved, obviously you should have your spiritual ears turned on and listen to what God is saying.
But if you’re unsaved, you’re probably going to be closed out to most truth. But it says when he was alone, verse 10, day that we’re about him with the 12 asked him about the parable. And he said unto them, unto you, that are believers here he’s addressing, it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God, but unto them that are without that is the unsaved, all these things are done in parables. Verse 12 says that seeing they may see and not perceive and hearing they may hear and not understand lest at any time they should be converted and their sins should be forgiven them.
So basically God is saying here that if you’re seeking the truth, You’re going to find it. If you’re not seeking the truth, you’re going to be blinded to it and you will not find it. So parables were done for that reason. There are people who are quite bright but aren’t seeking the truth. They can read the Bible and make absolutely no sense out of it. But yet a child can understand the wonderful truth of the gospel message of how Christ died and shed his blood and paid for their sins.
and receive Christ and receive the gift of eternal life and yet somebody else who’s got lots of degrees and is quite bright Can read the Bible and say that doesn’t make any sense at all. Oh That’s very well clarified. Thank you so much. All right Monica keep listening over there in Delta Dr. Lynch from could I just ask you one quick? Sure. Oh regarding C. F. Lewis I know you’re not as big as fan and I thought he was such a godly man and I’m confused about that also Well I am too because I don’t think he ever was saved and I don’t think he is saved.
In the last 25 years of his life he lived with a woman that was not his wife. His lifestyle was not good. He used a lot of profanity. He liked to drink and get drunk. He believed you could lose your salvation. So many things that are not biblical. I think somebody has cast a spell on everybody to make you think that he was some kind of a Christian. he was. Yeah, and then did you say yesterday that he asked for the last write upon his desk?
Absolutely, yes. All of this is documented. You just go on the internet and Google it and you’ll find tons of stuff. But also we have a great book here. It’s about several hundred pages that chronicles the belief system of C.S. Lewis and shows you that it’s a devious path in the devil to paganism because that’s really where he He led everybody. So you think he was a pagan then? Yep. You think he was a pagan? Yes, I do. Okay, Dr.
Lynch, from what that book sounds very interesting. And we’ll call and order and we’ll ship it out to you. But it’s a well-documented and excellent presentation of who CS Lewis says. You know, today, and by the way, he wrote fiction, you know, the Bible says in Second Timothy that in the last days people would not endure sound doctrine but they would turn away their ears from the truth and be turned on to fiction and to fables. And look at what’s happening today.
We have people that are reading all kinds of fiction and maybe related somehow to the Bible but they’re not reading their Bibles. Even the Left Behind series as much as I have applauded some of the great results that have come from it, it’s still fiction. I have a rule, I don’t read any fiction, Christian or otherwise, because I don’t want to mix up my head between fact and fiction. The Bible says in the last days, that’s what would be happening.
We have so many people today reading Christian fiction and I think it’s wrong. We need to be into our Bibles as our primary book and be careful about, and I’m not going to impose my rule on anybody else, but I think that we need to be knowing our Bible. Not a lot of people said I’ve read the whole left fine series. I’ve read all these books of see us Lewis And and we’ll have you read your Bible. Well, no And I think they’re they’re failing in that with the Bible is the primary book.
That’s the word of God Lee and you’re a blessing and thank you so much. You’re welcome Monica Thank you for calling in today and we now have Mike in Tampa, Florida Mike. Welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air I have two questions for you. What do the Mormons believe they came from and what do they believe about the Black Race? The Mormons believe that the Black Race came from Satan. The Mormons are really aliens and I’m saying that because that’s what they teach.
They teach that they all had their origin on the planet Cola. making this up and that their God was the God Elohim, that he was having babies left and right and having all these spiritual babies that needed bodies. He got together a group of his sons and they drew lots and the lot fell upon Jesus, one of the sons of Elohim. He was designated the one to come to the earth and be the Adam God that would start having bodies here, sex here to form human bodies for these spirits that were disembodied to indwell.
And so basically, mormatheology is really centered around having lots of babies. He was a young man and they would have multiple marriages. That’s one of the reasons why they went out west to Utah to escape the laws of our country as the country expanded westward. And Brigham Young, who went and led them out to Utah, had 17 wives and 54 children himself. And basically one of the ways that a Mormon achieves God who has been having lots of babies, having lots of kids.
And in any case, Satan, which was Jesus’s brother, according to Mormon legend, Jesus came here to the earth to become the Adam God, but Satan was very jealous, and so he came down and formed a black race. And so that’s what Mormon theology teaches. They’re a little quiet on that today, but that’s what they believe. And of course, they believe in no hell. They do not believe in the Jesus that we believe in. They’re really absolutely occult. They’re not even close to being Christian.
As I said before, they’re aliens who have migrated here from the planet Cola according to their teaching, teaching to be able to have bodies formed here that they could end well. And they believe in salvation by works. And they even believe that you can perform works for others that will help them become saved. So you can only save yourself by works, but you can help save other people by works. It’s really the craziest thing in all the world and they’re certainly wrong and lost and we need to pray for them.
Okay. Mike, I hope it helps a little bit. Yeah, thank you a lot. Alright. And certainly all of that is not true and they’re kind of quiet about the black races being formed by Satan today. It’s not getting to many points. Ted in Nashville, Tennessee calls in and he asks this question off air. Where or what is the outer darkness? Well the outer darkness is a description of what it’s like to be in hell. I believe hell is a lake of fire the Bible says.
Yet at the same time it’s the blackness of darkness forever. And how can that be? It seems like a contradiction. But you know, our sun is like a lake of fire. Let’s say that our sun that provides light every day is hell. If you were cast into the sun and you’d be in a lake of fire and if you were to look outward from the sun, you would see what? Just absolutely black. If you go up high enough in our atmosphere, it becomes black.
We down here below see the beautiful blue that God has made possible because of the particles in our atmosphere that cause the blue background that we see. But actually you go up where the astronauts are and it’s black. And so it is the Blackness of Darkness Forever. It’s the place where they’re away from God and they’re isolated in a lake of fire but looking out where they see the Blackness of Darkness Forever. Ted that helps a little bit and that is a great question.
We have Troy in the land, Florida and Troy, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Good morning Dr. Hank. Sorry about that confusion yesterday on my phone but I wanted to touch base because I was listening to Hank Hennigraff on Friday and he has a book out with I guess an associate from England about Armageddon and that they are on a table of building the temple and they have a book out, fictional book about Armageddon and the End Times.
I just couldn’t believe it. I’ve always heard you talk about it but I have heard it for myself and I mean he’s the Bible answer man so to speak. Well I’m pretty getting a lot of wrong answers out to people right now. He’s a A Preterist, he believes that Christ already came back in 8070. I have his big Apocalypse code which explains the way Prophecy and he believes that the tribulation period was 80 64 to 80 70 that the Antichrist was Nero and that basically The book Revelation is history.
It’s already fulfilled in 80 70 Christ has already come back that there is no rapture There is no tribulation period that the Jews in Israel have no claim to that land and that there is no future promises for Israel and so on and so on. It really has the roots of anti-Semitism in it and hatred towards Jewish people saying that God has through with them ever since they rejected Christ in the 80s, 70s. They were judged and they were done for and the church has replaced Israel.
It’s a bad doctrine and I’m really sad that they’re making such a big deal. Dr. Hank Lindstrom is a non-literal Bible and he says that in his book the Bible he gets the meaning of no problem. He said that in verse 3 he says that in verse 4 he says that in verse 3 he says that in verse metaphorical, metaphorical. And I don’t believe the Bible is written to be taken literally. And I always learned from the get-go as a young Christian that if you read the Bible and it makes good sense, then don’t seek any other sense.
That’s the bottom line. He also said that the veil when Christ was on the cross, that they said the veil was actually a temple. That was when the temple was destroyed and Christ destroyed it when he was on the cross. They also referred to a campaign against Jews and Christians who are donating and helping the temple to be built. They have a campaign out against Jews and Christians. And I just couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Well, I think that’s very foolish to fight against that.
And it’s not going to be stopped, of course, because God’s program is going to move forward. and there will be a rapture, there will be a temple rebuilt, and Christ is going to come back, and there will be a millennial kingdom here on this earth. But according to Hank Hennigrap, there is no thousand-year kingdom. All of that is metaphorical. It’s just a symbolic meaning. Have to run, but thank you so much for your call, and we’ve had a good time.
I hope you’ve enjoyed by the line today. If you could help by the line, we are still finishing up this lean summer, and we certainly I mean, you could use your prayers and we could use your gifts. You could send one by mail or call in and give one by credit card over the phone. I hope you’ll join me again tomorrow. If you can, if you’re near, come out and sit in my classes tonight and be my guest. We’ve got to say goodbye today.
Keep looking up. Jesus is coming and we’ll be back, Lord willing, tomorrow. Join me tomorrow on Bible and Alumni. Well, I’m Dr. Englund. Strem has been great being with you again today. Thanks for tuning in. There are certainly lots of wonderful things in God’s Word to talk about. We have so many wonderful people who have great questions that keep this program driven every day because it’s your questions that are keeping this program alive. Please take advantage of our website, BibleLineMinistries.org.com.
We look forward to being with you every day. We really do. We thank God for every one of you and certainly the partnership that we have developed between you and ourselves, our listeners and ourselves is what keeps this program going. We would certainly hate to cut any area, but we have to make hard decisions sometimes. Basically, unless we receive support from an area, we will not be able to maybe maintain it. consider sending a gift to Bible and we don’t pay any salaries so all this money really is the most efficiently spent in the whole world because it goes right to the broadcast and we hope that you will help us keep these programs going and reach out further to reach a world that so desperately needs to hear the truth and the word of God and we try to shoot straight to give you answers right from
right from the Bible, whether they’re popular answers or not is not the question. Is the answer in line with scripture, and are you getting a truthful answer and not a run around or a wrong answer? In any case, if you would call our 800 number, you could give a gift by credit card on the phone. It would greatly help us at this time as we come off of a lean summer, which is not unusual, but it’s been a tight one for us as we’ve stretched ourselves way out there to get the gospel out as far as we can.
You can also call and we’ll send you an envelope with our address on it. You might want to try that and mail a gift to Bible and you can also get our website, BibleLineMinistries.org. And there on the online bookstore, there’s a place where you can contribute to Bible and would you prayerfully consider that and pray for us every day. God for all of you and we appreciate you so much. We do believe Jesus is literally coming soon, first at the Rapture to Rapture South, then following seven years of tribulation where this earth will be judged and the world will be prepared for Christ’s reign or rule over the earth and then there will be a thousand year Kingdom of Peace.
It’s exciting. I believe we’re getting very close. I’m Dr. Hank Vinstroom. We’re going to have to run. We’ll be back tomorrow. Come by and see us sometime if you’re ever in the area and of course you can always visit us on our website by the line ministries.org or dot com. Keep looking up, Jesus is coming. God bless you.
