I’m telling you, we are One Block West, so we’re easy to find and take that extra minute to come by and say hi when you get a chance. Would you do that? That’s Bibleline headquarters, which is at the Calvary Community Church from the pastor. We’re on George Road, which which is one block west of the airport perimeter road which is ice tower boulevard. Come on by, say hello and if you want to come by on a worship day you can or if you want to come by during the week or resource centers open every day but if you can’t come and live in another city you’re not going to get to Tampa in the future.

Then I go to our own Luntbook store on the web or… The other things you can actually attend our worship services and classes and everything and be as though you’re here via the internet. The internet’s really quite an incredible tool. We’ve had 140, 150 countries now log in and we’re just amazed that they’re all over the world. I mean all over the Middle East, all over Europe, all over Africa, all over Asia and including Australia, the Pacific Islands, South America, Central America.

and of course all over the United States. And we have a large number of people that aren’t able to hear the broadcast because they don’t have a station where we’re broadcasting in their area and they’re able to actually catch us every day and depend upon the Internet to be able to catch our programs. Well, we’re going to take a look at the Bible. If you have your Bible there, open it up and we’ll start by looking at 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 where it talks about the Antichrist.

The Antichrist is a man that will actually be empowered by Satan that will attempt to rule over the world after the Rapture during the Tribulation period. He is the false Christ and he will actually attempt to rule the world from Jerusalem. As Jesus when he comes at the Second Coming will rule the earth from Jerusalem as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Notice if you will, verse 3 where there are two names here among many that are given for the Antichrist.

call here the man of sin, that 2 Thessalonians 2, 3, and he’s called the son of perdition or the son of hell. This is a man that will be the worst dictator the world has ever seen. He’ll make Hitler look like a good guy. And what is interesting is that he’ll come on the world in such a way that people are fooled and they’ll think he’s a wonderful man, a benefactor, a peacemaker, but actually he will be the very opposite.

Verse 4 tells us in 2 Thessalonians 2, he opposed it and exalted himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped, so that he as God, siteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. Now, obviously, that cannot happen at this very moment. Why? Because there is no temple in Israel. The temple was destroyed in 8070. That was the second temple, the first temple being built by Solomon, the second one, built by those who returned after the Babylonian captivity and rebuilt the temple that had been destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar.

And that second temple was destroyed in 8070 by the Romans. And we find that a third temple will be rebuilt and is going to be built right after the rapture. The very fact that the stones have been cut and the preparations have been made tells us we’ve really got to be very, very close to Lord’s return. We had Gershowan Solomon on the radio show just about two weeks ago and he is the man who has ever since the Six-Day War, felt a call from God to prepare the stones for the rebuilding of the temple.

They are cut in the ancient way, just like they kept the stones for Solomon’s temple. Quite an interesting man. He is an Orthodox Jew. He is not a believer. He believes that Christ has not yet come, but the second coming, which we call it the second coming, he believes is the first coming. I have talked to him face to face numerous times and I have told him, Gershan, you are not saved because you have missed the first coming in the Messiah.

In any case, I like the man a lot and I’m praying that he will have the blinders come off and trust Jesus as his Messiah, who is now about to come the second time. Now we would agree on almost everything else because he’s taken his theology from the Old Testament and so do all of us really. I mean the prophecies in the Old Testament about the Second Coming are everywhere extensive and he will come back to a temple. Malachi 3 1 says he’ll come suddenly to his temple.

Well, obviously that temple doesn’t stand there right now, but just before Christ comes back to it at the end of the seven years of tribulation, the Antichrist will visit that rebuilt temple. And it says in verse 4 here, he opposes an exalt of himself above all, but it’s called God or that is worshiped, so that he as God, sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. So the Antichrist is going to make a visit to the rebuilt temple.

We believe according to Daniel 927 that will take place right? Midway, halfway through the tribulation period of seven years. It says in the midst of the week in Daniel 927, the week there is the week of years, the 70th week of Daniel’s prophecy, the seven years that are still yet unfulfilled, the seven years that will tick off the clock once the rapture has happened. God’s clock for Israel stopped ticking 2,000 years ago in Christ’s time. That clock had ticked off 69 weeks of years or 483 years and the Bible clearly in chapter 9 of Daniel tells us that at the end of that amount of time Jesus would die to pay for the sins of the world and then we find that he would obviously disappear from back to heaven and Jerusalem and the temple would be destroyed which happened shortly thereafter in 8070 the

Romans. But then we have a gap of 2000 years because God has revealed in the New Testament very clearly that He would turn to the Gentiles and for the past 2000 years we Gentiles have been the ones who have embraced the Messiah, the Jewish Messiah, Jesus and have obviously during the past 2000 years been the ones that God has used as His witnesses. But once the Rapture happens, the clock will start clicking and tick off the last seven years of the prophecy.

And then Christ will be back ruling and reigning here on the earth. It certainly is an exciting thought. And we find here that before the Antichrist can be revealed, it tells us here in verse 3 that there has to be the Rapture. This is in verse 3, as to when the tribulation period would begin, when the Antichrist would be revealed, it says in verse 3, let no man deceive you by any means. For that day, that is the day of the Lord, this seven year tribulation period and then the thousand year reign that would follow, cannot happen.

It says that they shall not come, except there come a falling away first. Now that phrase falling away really from the Greek language means a departure. Now some have imagined that this departure would be an apostasy, a falling away from the scriptures which certainly is something that is happening today but that’s not I believe what it’s talking about. He’s talking about the departure of the Holy Spirit who permanently involves us here in this age. And so when he goes, we go.

Look if you will a little further down. It says in verse 6, and now you know what would holdeth that he might be revealed in his time. And we know that it is the Holy Spirit dwelling in us. Verse 7 says, for the mystery of iniquity that already worked. may he, that he there is a reference to the Holy Spirit, only he who now leteth, it should read the hindrith, will continue to hinder that is evil or sin in this world until he, the Holy Spirit be taken out of the way.

So the Holy Spirit in us is a hindrance and retards evil in this world. We are obviously an influence for good as Christians as believers in this world. But all of a sudden the one who is restraining evil in this world, the Holy Spirit in us as believers will be taken up and he will notice be taken out of the way. And when the Holy Spirit goes we go because the Bible clearly makes it plain that we’re permanently involved with all the spirits.

So wherever he goes we go. If he leaves we leave. This is the rapture. This is the departure that speaks about in verse 3. And then it says that when that happens, then that man of sin, the Antichrist, will be revealed. The son of perdition. We find the same thing right here in verse 6 and 7 where we find that the Holy Spirit when he is taken out will mark this beginning of the day of the Lord, the tribulation period, when the Antichrist will be revealed.

Verse 8 says, and then, and then, and then, shall that wicked one be revealed? Who is this wicked one? It’s the Antichrist. It’s the son of perditions, the man of sin. And it tells us that in verse 8 where it says, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming. That’s clearly the Antichrist. In chapter 19 of Revelation, we see Christ coming back and he actually defeats the Antichrist.

the Antichrist is cast into the lake of fire. So what a wonderful chapter this is. This certainly proves the pre-tribulational rapture because obviously the departure The church, the departure of the Holy Spirit, the departure of the believers has to take place prior to the Antichrist being revealed and prior to the day of the Lord commencing. So this is clear that we go out before the tribulation period. Interesting stuff. And I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom. This is Bibleline. And Sunday morning at 9 o’clock, we’re going to have a special teaching on the Rapture and answer your questions about the Lord.

about the Rapture and related things. And that will be on the Internet as an interactive teaching where you can watch and submit questions. I’ll answer them. You’ll be able to watch me answer those questions on the Internet Sunday morning at 9 o’clock. I hope you’ll tune into that. We’ll repeat it a second hour. It will be recorded and replayed at 10 o’clock, which means that you won’t be able to submit any more questions. The question time will be 9 to 10, but 10 to 11, it will be repeated and then of course 11 you will be able to catch me live in our worship service right here from Calvary Community Church.

I certainly pray that you have trusted Jesus as your Savior. If you have, then you’ll be caught up when the Holy Spirit is taken out of the way. You’ll be with the Lord and forever be with Him. It will be eliminated from the seven years of tribulation that will be here on the earth. If you haven’t trusted Christ, just whisper prayer right now. Just say, God, I’m the sinner. We all are. But just tell the Lord Lord I’m the center of it.

I trust that Jesus died and paid my ruth and death and full was buried and rose again from the dead. I trust him right now to save me. And God will. I’m telling you, I wouldn’t waste another minute. Don’t put it off. You need to trust the Lord. And it’s exciting to be able to know that whenever you die as a believer, you’re going to go to be instantly with the Lord. I’m Dr. Englund from Mrs. Bybaland. We’re going to go ahead and go to the phone lines.

That number is 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Give us a call and we’ll try to get you up on the air and answer your question. We have Tim in Lake Worth, Florida and Tim, welcome to Bimaline today. Good morning, Dr. Hank. First of all, let me suggest that you get one of those gizmos so we can hear the show while we’re on hold. You know, there’s a lot of old people here in Florida. My wife just said to me, who are you holding, Florin?

I said, I forget. Well, that Naugdon. I’ll have our operator who made me a note on that. That would be great. Okay. My question is, in Gen. 6, they talk about the, is it pronounced, Neflon, N-E-P-H-E-L-M, the Giants? Yes, huh? Okay. Where did they come from? Where did they go? And what happened to the offspring? Okay, they all obviously drowned in the flood of Noah. And they were already there. You know what a lot of people teach is that the sons have got her angels, which is not true.

God never called an angel his son, Hebrews 1-5. Also angels don’t marry. And so these are not angels marrying women here. It says in Matthew 22.30 that angels don’t marry, nor do they have kids. So obviously this can’t be angels. These are believers who marry unbelievers, and the gospel becomes lost such that only one family is left that knows the Lord, and that’s Noah and his wife and his three sons and their wives are the only ones left. But I’m amazed that because real good Bible teachers, Apparently, you’re just relying on what they’ve read from somebody else because they’re not reading the text very carefully.

But you’ll notice it says in verse 4, there were giants in the earth in those days, and then it says, and also after that, after that, after that, after that, when the sons of God came in and the daughters of men, they bear children to them. So we learn here the giants were there prior to the marriages. So this has nothing to do with these people having giants as babies, and that’s generally what we are normally told. But the Giants have always been around.

I mean these are big people. You watch these football games nowadays and there are some pretty big guys out there. And they are the Giants of today. They’re in the NBA and they’re in the NFL and they’re in the college teams and now the High School guys are getting I don’t remember that when I was in high school or little guys, but now they’re huge. They’re giants. Well, in any case, when, of course, Israel was going to enter the promised land in Moses and up the twelve spies, they came back and said that the land was full of giants.

They were tall guys. Obviously, Goliath was quite a large fellow. He was one of the giants there, the Philistines used as a as a means of terrorizing their enemies. He was so huge that people were just frightened when they saw him. But actually nothing special is going on. These were just ungodly people. They didn’t know the Lord. And they were like big boys. And they were around prior to the marriages. And the whole human race really became corrupted. And it says in verse 11 that the earth was filled with violence.

It was a violent time and you can imagine the people that were huge like that could just have their way and there was no conscience in them apparently as to how they took advantage of other people and those were terrible days and God destroyed that whole all those people on the earth at that time. It’s all those giants died. They didn’t have a chance to have any more kids. You know, it’s amazing that whenever I’d need anything to answer it, I can just call you.

I never believed in cloning until I met you and I think we need to clone you. Well thank you, it’s a nice compliment. But yeah, I’m amazed that, you know, I guess, you know, the Lord was good because he sent me, I didn’t realize it at the time, but I went through a five-year engineering program at the University of Florida. I think all the math and science that I took helped me to think logically and to look for the correct answers and not to necessarily believe whatever I was told.

And that’s what a scientist is. Obviously, there’s some investigation. And I think too many people are reading books about the Bible and they assume those books are correct. And they’re not necessarily correct. I remember one night we were given an assignment one of our calculus classes and all of us worked all night long. We were exhausted. We came into class and we were just hoping that we had maybe got some progress and get some credit for what we did.

The professor tells us, by the way, on that project I gave you, you wouldn’t be able to come up with an answer because the book had everything printed incorrectly. I was so upset because I worked all night long to solve it. I felt it probably was just something on my part that was what I couldn’t figure it out. But nobody could figure it out. He said no, nobody would be able to figure it out because the textbook was wrong.

So obviously I learned lessons early on that you just can’t believe the books you’re reading. Sometimes they’re wrong too. Well, I googled this before I called you so I didn’t waste your time and it was just I could even make hands or tails of it. So I thought, well, Dr. Hank, well, no. Well, thank you, Tim. I’m so glad you called today. Okay, have a good day. All right, you take care of that. It was Tim down in over on Lake Worth, Fort open east coast of Florida.

We now have Jerry in Valrico and Jerry. Welcome to Iowa. And you’re on there. Yes, sir. Could you please It’s down on the significance of the Jewish temple male for today and in the future. And I went on the Ruby News website and they said something about there’s no construction over there and there may be a crack in one of the walls. If you know anything about that, you explain that and I’ll hang up and listen to you. Thanks, sir.

All right. Temple Mount in Israel is the most important piece of real estate on the planet earth, 37 acres that are the site of the ancient Jewish temple. This is where Jesus will return to when he comes. And according to the Bible, he will return to a third temple. If you can get a map or picture a photograph of the Temple Mount Platform on the east side, there is a gate that is walled up. The Bible predicted in Ezekiel 44 that this gate would be walled up and not open until Jesus would return.

That’s amazing because of all the gates in the wall around the city of Jerusalem, there is only one that is walled up and it is this one. That was a prophecy that you can actually see fulfilled with your eyes. When Jesus comes, he’ll land on the Mount of Olives, which is to the east of Jerusalem, and then he’ll go straight west and go through that walled-up gate, open it up. There will be a temple there. He will cleanse it and then he will rule the earth from that temple there in Jerusalem.

Really exciting stuff and we’re looking forward to when that’ll happen. Now you’re talking about the cracks. These are problems with the retaining wall around the Temple Mount platform and there are a number of bulges and cracks. Some of these have been repaired and I think they’re new ones that are developing. It has to do with the primarily with the undermining of underneath the Temple Mount platform which is hollow by the Muslims and they have done a lot of structural damage and of course they always blame it on Israel but they’re the ones that are at fault so hopefully that helps you.

There is no temple there’s no cracks in a temple but there are cracks in the retaining wall. The western wall is nothing but a retaining wall on the west side of the Temple Mount platform. I’m Dr. Englund, sir. We’re going to go ahead and go to break here in just a moment. We’ve got a lot of people on hold and we’ll have to hold them over the break now. We have a lot of offer questions and we’ll try to catch some of those.

If you haven’t helped Bible line, we really covet your prayers and we certainly need your financial help to be able to keep Bibleline on the air. We are totally dependent upon our listeners. Unless we have our listeners support, we would not be able to be on the air. We just send a gift by mail or give one by credit card over the phone. We’re going to take our break. We’ll come right back so don’t go away and we’ll do the second half of Bibleline in just a minute.

No go A Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Alright, I’m Dr. Englunds from In This Great To Be With You. We look forward to it every day and appreciate you being a faithful listener. And thank you for telling your friends about the program and telling them about the internet. We’re excited about how we know we have missionaries in many countries that are listening to the Bible and I’m sure it must be through our listeners who correspond or email their missionaries and tell them, hey, check out Bible and we just had a fellow return from Japan and he went over and there were about 20 that were over there to evangelize.

He was told and all those missionaries were told in Japan that it would take three to five years to lead someone to Christ there in Tokyo where they were. He obviously just scratched his head from what he learned from Bible and from sitting in my classes. He just said, I don’t know if I believe that, he believed the power of the gospel to bring life to somebody who’s virtually dead. He believed that if you gave the gospel that somebody could get saved rather quickly.

So he just began to evangelize and give him the gospel in a very clear fashion that he learned from the Bible. And in two weeks he’d already led about three to Christ. And the other missionaries said, this is not possible. This can’t be happening. We were not told that. And you know, he got all 20 of them evangelizing and they led a lot of people to Christ. It didn’t take three to five years. He revolutionized evangelism in Japan because of what he learned here.

God bless you, and that was wonderful. We just love that report. He’s going to go back and has a real desire to reach the people in Japan for Christ. But he learned from Bibleline that this message is powerful. I’ve led people to Christ all over the world and it didn’t take me three to five years. I’ll tell you, sometimes only a few minutes. If you explain the gospel and a person can understand that when they believe the gospel, God saves them.

I hope you’ll pray for us and I hope you’ll help us financially. You can give a gift by credit card or the phone or you can call and ask for an envelope to be sent that has our address on it and you can mail your gift in. You can also give on the internet. I believe when you go to where we have our worship services, you can do it there. I believe you can do it on our online bookstore.

There’s numerous places. I think we’re on the home page. It says click here to make a donation to Bible. And if you want to do that, that would be wonderful. God bless you. Well, we’re going to rejoin stations that have been on break and do the second half hour Bible. And so we don’t want you to go anywhere. Hold on to your radio and stay tuned as we’re about ready to rejoin those stations and do a second half.

Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Alright, we’re back from that break and this is Bible and here we are in the second half hour of the program and we’re sure to welcome all of you that are listening those of you up in Flint and Saigonah, Michigan, those in Lansing, Michigan, those are listening in Albany, New York, in Utica, New York, those are listening in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Richmond, Virginia, All across Tennessee, we’re in Memphis right now, live, and we’re in Nashville, we’re in Chattanooga right now, live, and we’re in Mobile, Alabama, Pensacola, Florida, the Panhandle of Florida.

We’re over in Jacksonville, Florida, and we welcome all of you that are listening in Jacksonville. We’re in Delan, Florida, and we reach all the way back down to Orlando from that wonderful station there in the land and of course we’re in Sarasota, Florida. I think it’s 91.3 and also we’re here in the Tampa Bay area and other areas. Thank you so much all of you who listen in the different areas where we’re on the year. If you have a computer you really ought to take advantage of the website because you can catch our programs any time of day or night.

That’s right. Go to the home page, click on the spinning globe and you’ll be connected to the radio programs and your friends around the world can be listening. Just let them know about it. I think they’re going to be pleasantly surprised that they can go and hear my blind wherever they might be and we could hear it in Israel. We actually tuned in to our Sunday morning worship service. It was kind of interesting for me to sit there and actually see the church here and the worship service going live in Israel from our hotel.

That’s amazing. And of course we did our broadcasts of the radio from Israel back in March and that was a great experience. This Sunday we are going to do something rather unique, something like what we did with radio. But this is going to be video on the web. That is this Sunday morning if you go click on the camera on the home page. We are going to have an interactive teaching on the Rapture and you will be able to submit your questions live and see me answer them on the air this Sunday morning between 9 and 10.

I hope you will do that. go to BibleLineMinistries.org or dot com click on the camera and you’ll see this live interactive time we’re going to have on Sunday morning. And if you have any questions about the Rapture you can submit them and you’ll be able to watch me answer them right there on your computer screen and if you have a large monitor you can set it up so everybody in your whole house can participate. That’ll be fun. That’ll be so this Sunday morning.

We plan to play that over again between 10 and 11. It’ll be Krug between 9 and 10. We plan to repeat it between 10 and 11. And then at 11, you’ll be able to catch our worship service coming up live also. So it’s going to be commerical. And we’re doing this because September 12th is the potential rapture date. I’m not saying that Jesus is coming this year. Please don’t misunderstand me. But whatever your Christ comes, he’ll come probably on the Feast of Trumpets.

So if he does come this year, we might have just one week left. This might be your final week here on the planet Earth. Wouldn’t that be something? Wow. So we’re going to talk about that Sunday morning and you’ll be able to ask your questions. And I think it’ll be very, very good to do that just before we possibly might be rapshed on the 12th of September, the Feast of Trumpets. Pretty exciting stuff. And we hope that you’ll take advantage of that.

Again, we wanna thank all of you who give the Bible, and God bless you all. I really wish I could just reach out and hug all of you right now, because it’s a miracle that we’re on the air. It really is. I just, I thank God, because it’s just an amazing phenomenon that we’re able to be on. We don’t have any, you know, somebody underwriting the program, the corporation or individual. This is all the gifts of people just like you.

Had a lady come up to me yesterday and she said, how many days are in September? And I said 30. She says, let me write a check. She says, I give a dollar a day to Bibleline. And since there’s 30 days in September, I’m going to write a check to Bibleline for $30. I said, God bless you. And you know, how wonderful. If everybody did is this one lady does, she doesn’t have much, I’m sure. But she gives that gift every month.

If it’s 31 days, she gives $31. If there’s 30 days, she gets $30. And she is so faithful. never misses a month and I just praise God for people like that who are helping us to stay on the air. Without your help, we would be off the air. It’s very simple. You can just call us and get us to send you an envelope with our address on a mail gift if you want my check. You can also, of course, use your credit card on the phone.

Just call our operators and they’re going to help you. help you. They’re very friendly and they’ll take your gift over the phone by credit card. Also, you can of course go right to our online bookstore and give a gift there. It’s interesting. It’s in increments of $1. So if you wanted to give $200, you would have to say you want to give $1 200 times and it comes out to $200. If you wanted to give $10, it would be $1 times ten.

And it’s pretty simple, and I think anybody can do it. It’s pretty user-friendly. But your gifts really are the means by which we stay on the earth. Thank God for every one of you, and we praise the Lord for all of our listeners who keep the program going wherever you are listening. Thank you and dance, and we praise God for you. And one day we’re all going to sit around and talk about, wow, what God has done through His people, partnering together to pull off the Bibleline program.

We’re reaching into almost every country of the world. Can you imagine 150 countries? There’s not much left. All the big ones have been finiest. But it’s those little teeny countries every now and then we get another one added to to the list, but they’re finding us. What absolutely amazed me, and I still can’t get over it, when we were in Israel in March, we ran into people from southern Nigeria, and then later in the week from northern Nigeria, and these people all were familiar with Bible, and they listened in Nigeria, Africa.

Hi, how are you doing this morning? Good. Hi, my new listener, first time caller. I had a question. I was watching the Discovery Channel and they’re talking about a little planet called Newbriars, but becoming into our solar system. The reds and parts out of Genesis that reflected to it. I was just wondering how is this reflect on… What is it they’ve discovered? It’s a new planet called the agree with Alton our solar system. It’s going to become one of the…

it’s supposed to come around for anything at Balladator. I really haven’t, and I wouldn’t be surprised at all. Certainly, you know, we have been discovered. This is a time of discovery. And in Luke 21, 25, Jesus said there would be signs in the last days in the heavens that would be a sign of the fact that He’s coming back. So the fact that we’re discovering things in space. You know up until just about 200 years ago, a little bit plus, we didn’t know much about the universe at all because the telescope had not been invented.

Lewin hooked around the first lens in Galileo just a couple of hundred years ago. It hadn’t been long at all. actually invented the telescope and since then boom we have realized that boy there’s a big universe out there that God has created and we’re just a small small part of it but yet in God’s mind we are very very important. And so love the world. He gave his only begotten son that whosoever would believe in Christ would not perish but have everlasting life.

This is mind-boggling. The Creator cared enough about you and me. On this little insignificant piece of rock that’s orbiting the third rock from the sun. It’s amazing here that God would care about us and He did. It’s interesting. I’m very curious about the discoveries in space, but certainly nothing violates what the Bible teaches. But we are obviously seeing signs, I think, of the end times as we begin to look up and look into space. And Jesus said, when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads because your redemption draws nine.

Right. You know, I wish a lot of people would open their eyes to the signs that he tells us. tells us where and if they read it and it’s almost every day happening within this would be scary. You know, people need to open their eyes and actually understand that he’s telling us when he’s coming. We just don’t know what day, what night, because he’s going to come like a thief in the night. This planet was written, was talked about by the Sumerians, I think, about four or five thousand years ago.

They’ve got these actual things on the wall and they’ve drawn and talked about the planet coming around over 36, hundred years and it’s supposed to be a big deal. and it’s supposed to be about the time it’s supposed to be 2012. Kind of scary but you know all we can do is keep our prayers tight and hope for the best. There you go because a lot of people have got that year 2012 in their sites because the new age years and everything else because of the Mayan calendar ending in the year 2012 feel like that’s going to be the end of the world.

And of course, others who are on the Christian side feel like, well, maybe that’s when Jesus comes back to rescue this world instead of his thousand-year kingdom. But it’s interesting to watch it play out. And I think we are close to the Lord’s return. And whether the year 2012 is a significant number in as far as the fulfillment of Bible prophecy I don’t know. Some speculate that there are actually 12 planets because of the dream of Joseph where he saw 12, the son of the man in 12, some interpret that to be planets, and so that they feel like there’s still three or two more to be discovered to make up the complete compliment of 12.

That might be true. Right, they’re actually counting the moon and another planet now that I wore with this nibrio and actually makes the 12th planet. Well, that’s interesting. Thank you, Billy. Thank you very much for your time, thank you. All right. Billy in Sarasota, Florida, calling in and you’re welcome to call in at 1-800-576-3771. We have Janice in Tampa. Janice, welcome to by the one. Hello. Hi, Janice. Hi. I have a three-class three-class three-class interview. I’ve noticed you send a phone about women preaching.

Why is it wrong? Well, the Bible says they should. It says in the first Timothy. I don’t have your Bible there. But let me turn and now quote the verse. It says in the first Timothy, and I’m almost there, first Timothy chapter 2. And it says here in verse 11, let the women learn in silence with all subjections. Verse 12, it says, I suffer or allow not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

I think that’s pretty clear. And the word teach here is a unique word in the Greek. means to teach the word of God. So women are not to be the pastors, elders, deacons, and church leaders. And then the reason is given there, Janice, in verse 13 to the end, it says in verse 13, first of all, the reason is because Adam was first formed, then Eve. So God gave the responsibility to the man. This is the order of creation and the order of the chain of command here.

And also in Corinthians 11 it talks about there’s God in Christ and then man and woman and the children. And that is the The woman was deceived in the transgression back there in the garden. That tells us something about the fact that men and women don’t think the same. Men think more factually. This is just a fact. Women think more emotionally or we sometimes say with their heart. Obviously, I think we men sometimes are lacking in that area, and women are lacking in that they are not necessarily as factual as men.

And because of that, I think Satan knew that from the very beginning, and that’s why I think isolated Eve and got her off the side and he was able to deceive her, but Adam was not deceived. So women can be deceived spiritually more easily than men, and that’s why. And a lot of cults have been found by women. And I find that I don’t know of any good women Bible teachers. I think they all are flawed. Most of them have salvation wrong, which is such a basic doctrine.

K. Arthur believes you can lose your salvation. That’s a major fatal bad doctrine. So does many of the others that are popular out there on TV, they don’t have it right. They always seem to mess up. And that’s why we really need to go to the Bible for ourselves, but definitely not to have women teachers. Okay. So what department they play in the church if they can’t, okay, they can’t reach. Can they be like a teacher from the school teacher?

Yeah, there are many roles and especially if the male authority gives them permission to speak or to sing or to give testimony or to teach a class, then they’re not usurping authority over the men. But basically they are not to be the leaders of the church. And I think that’s one of the major differences. And when you read Titus about what women are to teach, it gives a whole list of things, but it’s not really to teach the Bible.

And if you look at Titus, it’s quite a remarkable passage in Titus chapter two. And I’m turning over there now. Let me just read what it says that women ought to teach. And this is Titus chapter two. And again, I’m almost there in my Bible. My pages, they seem to be sticking together. It says here in verse three of Titus chapter two, the aged women. likewise, that they should be in behavior as the cometh holiness, not false accusers, not given them much wine.

Teachers of good things, that they may teach the young women to be sober, to teach the young women to love their husbands, to teach the younger women to love their children, to teach the younger women to be discreet, to be chased, to teach the younger women to be keepers at home, or to teach the other women to be good, to be obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. So there’s a whole list of things there.

And Titus, I think, are wonderful, but it doesn’t really authorize them to be the Bible teachers or the pastors. All right. I’ll do more. Okay. Is masturbation a sense? You know, a lot of people debate that, and that’s one that really gets you in trouble no matter what you do say here. But a lot of people say it is a sin because it’s self-gratification. And if you’re married, you’re denying your partner of the pleasure that they should have from you having sex together.

But in any case, whether you do or you don’t, I think that the body itself does have a natural way. way and there are obviously people have the inner dreams. These things happen. So I think it’s something that’s going to happen if you’re married. Obviously the Bible tells us that you’re to satisfy the needs of the opposite partner sexually that were made that way. And first we’re going to be in seven, there’s a pretty plain passage there that the body of the man belongs to the wife and the wife has ownership of the husband’s body and they should be satisfying each other and that’s God’s plan.

So I’m treading the water here carefully but I wouldn’t say absolutely never is there an occasion but definitely the Bible says that God intended sex to be between the man the wife and to be satisfying each other. Can I get your stop address? You certainly can. Let me give you my operator here and he’ll take your call right now and he will take that address if you’d like it. Thank you, Janice, for calling in. That was Janice in Tampa, Florida.

We probably ought to take a few of these off-air questions. We have an off-air from Bob in Haslett, Michigan. He says, C.S. Lewis, Was he same and of course he’s the author of Chronicles of Narnia and so many other books And mere Christianity and everybody liked that title But if you read about C.S. Lewis and we have a book here in our Resource Center about C.S. Lewis he believed that the Bible contained error he believed in evolution He did not believe the Bible was infallible.

He didn’t believe in salvation salvation by grace alone. He believed salvation was by works. He believed you could lose your salvation. He didn’t believe in hell. He did his death as for a priest to come and say, last rites and so on and so on. And I don’t get the picture from what I read about C.S. Lewis that he was ever saved. I don’t think he was. That’s my view. And the book that we We have talks about the paganess of C.S.

Lewis. He liked to get drunk, he used pretty foul language. Apparently, he didn’t have a very good testimony. He lived the last 25 years of his life with a woman that was not his life. And so I believe that in my opinion, C.S. Lewis was not a Christian. That surprises a lot of people, but if you want to get an interesting book several hundred pages long that really details a lot of these things. And well documented, you might want to call and ask for the book about C.S.

Lewis and we can ship it out to you. Brian in Tampa, Florida calls in and he says, I believe you said that there is no marriage in heaven, nor the giving of marriage in heaven. Where does the marriage of the Lamb take place? A good question. But when we were talking about no marriage in heaven, it was talking about when a person dies. The question was asked in Matthew 22 of this woman who died and she had five different husbands.

One at a time they all died. I think they ate her soup and I don’t know what happened. But anyway, they all died. She kept marrying guys and they all died. Every one of them. So they said, whose wife will she be of all these different men? And Christ said, there is no marriage in heaven, so she won’t be the wife of any of them. So there is no marriage in heaven. Now we do know the marriage of the Lamb probably does take place in heaven and that’s not the same thing.

That’s Christ taking us the church, his bride, and he marries us and he comes back to the earth and presents his bride and the whole earth will celebrate for a thousand years. and that’s the marriage supper of the Lamb, the celebration supper that will follow a thousand years of peace after the Second Coming. We have Chuck here in Palm Harbor. He says, do you believe the books like the Prayer of J. Bez and the Purpose of Triven Life are good teachings for us and I don’t think so.

The prayer of J. Bez is of course a good prayer, but it’s become a rabbit’s foot for Christians and they think it’s a special magic prayer and I don’t believe that. So I think that people are reaching out. It’s kind of like they’re getting the winning the lotto. Also the purpose driven life I think is flawed. There is no, if you read all the examples that Warren gives in his book, there is no purpose that’s coming at the end of those 40 days from the examples he gives.

I mean, this just is wrong from the get-go. Plus, Rick Warren’s salvation is flawed by works. It has to do with your continuance of a relationship with Christ, which makes it works. If you don’t continue, you don’t make heaven. If you do continue, you will. He says in a video that I have that what you do here on earth will determine where you spend eternity. Well, that sounds like works to me. And I believe he has not good sound teaching in those books, in the book The Purpose of of life.

All right, Renard in Tampa, Florida calls in and he says, where does it speak of abandonment and marriage? And that’s over in 1 Corinthians 7 where it talks about a person abandoning the marriage. You might check that out, 1 Corinthians 7. We’re going to have to wind it up here. If you haven’t trusted Christ, just tell the Lord Lord on the center and put your trust in Jesus as your only hope of heaven, believing his death and shed blood, purchased your salvation He was buried in Rosigan for the dead and when you trust him, God, and heaven saved you, you don’t have to look for a feeling.

You have his word on it. Who’s to ever believe it in Christ should not perish, but have everlasting like John 3 16 says. Don’t forget to tune us in again tomorrow. I hope also that you’d pray for us here at Bibleline and if you could help us financially, that would be wonderful. We’re not trying to get your money. We really want to get the gospel message out. We believe there is an urgency. This might be our last week. It might be the last opportunity you have to invest in eternity.

If you don’t give before next Wednesday and the Lord comes next Wednesday, then certainly you will have missed your opportunity. Gotta run. Keep looking up. Jesus is coming and we believe He’s coming very, very soon. Have a great day. God bless. We’ll look for you tomorrow if the Lord doesn’t come before. You’ve been listening to Bibleline.
