They’re in a nice set book that will fit on your bookshelf or keeping your cassettes in order in your car. Each of those are for a gift of $50 or $100 for the two books on John on CD and a $150 gift for the one book that has all 18 hours of teaching on DVD.
Actually it’s longer than 18 hours because some of is two classes will be maybe 65 minutes a piece or 130 minutes. Open your Bible and we’ll be taking calls in a little bit if you want that number. 1-800-576-3771. 1-800-576-3771 gives a call and we’ll get you up on the air. We’re going to turn to Ezekiel and this will be chapter 37. What an incredible prophecy here. It’s called the vision of dry bones. Ezekiel 37, it says in verse 1, The hand of the Lord was upon me and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones.
It caused me to pass by them round about and behold there were very many. In the open valley and low they were very dry. What is this all about? What is this all about? Well, there used to be the spiritual that you’d sing about, dry bones and dry bones and hear the word of the Lord and I don’t want to break into song here. These bones, it says in verse 11, these sediments, son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel.
And so Israel is what is in view here. And it speaks about the dispersion of the Jews, you know, two thousand years ago. When Rome came against Jerusalem in 8070, all the Jews in Israel were dispersed out to the slave markets around the world. and the Jews have been off their land dispersed around the world for 2000 years. And in this chapter, the picture is the Jewish people in the graveyard of the nations and they are dead as a nation.
No longer existing and functioning in the land of Israel. And Ezekiel sees these bones and they’re been laying out for a long time and are dried by the sun. And God asks Ezekiel, can these bones live? That’s the big question here. Notice the Lord says to him in verse 3, He said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered O Lord God, Thou knowest. Again, He said unto me, prophesy upon these bones and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.
And so yes, the bones do live again. And it is talking about the restoration of the Jewish people back to the land in the latter days. We’re in that latter day time because the Jewish people are right now. Obviously back in the land as a nation for the first time in 2000 years we have a Jewish state in the Middle East. It’s in the news almost every day. It’s amazing. It’s so small geographically. It’s no bigger than the state of Rhode Island.
And yet look at the music captures as it’s just teeny in comparison to all the land that the Arab neighbors have. It’s just like a speck of dust. And yet it commands the world news. Why? Because the Bible said that Jerusalem and Israel would be the focal point of the world in the last days. No doubt about it. We are living in the last times and these are times when Christ will come back. It talks here about their restoration in Cezamurs 25 And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob, given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt, and they shall dwell therein, even they and their children, and their children’s children forever.
And my servant David shall be their prince forever. Here’s talking about in the time of the Babylonian captivity when Ezekiel was an exile prophet. Here it talks about the Jewish people are still future. Going to be regatted back into their land and dwell there their children and their children’s children forever. Obviously God is not through with his promises for Israel. You know replacement theology today is being really pumped up and preached and put in our faith. face today, but it’s a false doctrine.
It began in the 5th century with Augustine, and they basically said at that time that God was through with Israel. It seemed like it was true because here it had been hundreds of years since Israel was dispersed and it looked like it was impossible that they would ever wind up going back and becoming a nation again. And so replacement theology teaches that Israel was replaced by the church. The horse was riding on through time and Israel was on the horse, but Israel got bumped off the horse because of the rejection of Christ.
The church is on the back of the horse and rides on and God is through with Israel. They’ve been just left in the past. That’s not true. In the Knox Theological Seminary website, which has an open letter signed by 154 ministers, declares that Israel has no right to the land that is over there in the Middle East today, and it tells us that all of those land promises to Israel were fulfilled in Joshua’s time. Well, that’s not true because here I’m reading from Ezekiel’s time, which is much, much later.
It’s only about 500 years before Christ came. And here Ezekiel is an exile prophet. And this vision is that Israel will live again. Israel will be returned to their land. And it says in verse 25, And they shall dwell in the land that I’ve given unto Jacob my servant. That was the grandson of Abraham. where your fathers have dwelt, and they shall dwell therein, and they and their children and their children’s children forever. So clearly the church has not replaced Israel, but Israel has been placed on the sideline during this dispersion, and this vision of the dry bones is of their return back to the land.
Look at verse 12 in Ezekiel 37, “‘Therefore prophesy Ezekiel and say unto them, Thus say of the Lord God, oh behold, oh my people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up out of your graves and bring you into the land of Israel. So Israel scattered among the nations in the graveyard of the nations would be resurrected as a nation and become a nation again in the land in the last days. And this is when Jesus would return and it’s exciting.
And it says, you shall know that I am the Lord when I have opened your graves on my people and brought you up out of your graves and brought you back into your own land. While we are living, my friend, in the last days when that is all taking place. And yet many church denominations, the Roman Catholic Church, most of the Protestant denominations believe that Israel has been replaced by the church. They believe we are already in the kingdom.
There is no rapture, there is no tribulation period. There is no thousand literal year kingdom coming up and it is a total denial of the literal interpretation of the Bible when I believe these things are literally to take place. And certainly the Bible is very clear here that it is talking about Israel dispersed and dead as a nation being revived and brought back into their land. I am excited. I think we are living close and if you are watching the news Israel is still in the middle of it.
God said in the Prophet Zechariah that the whole world would focus on Jerusalem in the last days and Certainly that is true and it says there that Jerusalem would become a burdensome stone for all people on the earth and How that the world would come to war in the Middle East and the Jerusalem would be the focal point We can see the handwriting on the on the wall you might say and and the coming of Jesus is getting very, very soon.
Have you trusted Christ? I hope you have, because it all centers around Christ. And the Bible says in the last days that the Jewish people would be hated above all nations, and it seems like every day more and more anti-Semitism is stirred up more and more. Jewish hatred, all of that is from Satan. Satan hates the Jewish people. Why? Several reasons. Number one He, the Jewish people, brought about the Messiah. Jesus came out of the nation of Israel. He was born out of the tribe of Judah, and He is God who took on human flesh.
And He is of Jewish flesh, and Jesus is hated by Satan. And so He tries wherever He can and has down thousands of years now tried to destroy the Jewish people because of His hatred for Christ and wants to eliminate this wonderful Messiah, the people that brought him about. Well, we’re going to go ahead and go to the phone lines here. The phone number is 1-800-576-3771. We have all of our lines lighted up, but keep trying. We’ll get you up on the air and lots of all fair questions.
We’ll see what we can do. We have here number one is Julian in Tampa, Florida. Julian, welcome to Bibleline. You’re on the air. Good morning, Pastor. First of all, I just want to say, God bless you and your wonderful ministry. You do a very good job out there. Thank you. Pastor, my question is yesterday I was on the internet and I was kind of surfing on there. I ran into some articles about our president and the past presidents and some of those articles and there were different sources.
They were claiming that he is a mason and then further along in those articles they were talking about like Illuminati and New World Order and things of that nature. My question for you is that is present Bush and a lot of the presidents in the past have they or were they masons and what exactly is a mason and the Illuminati and your old order and I’ll hang up so I can listen to you in detail. Right. Well, I didn’t know about Bush’s association with the masons but a lot of the presidents have been and this really is a false religion in a sense.
Those that are in it do a lot of good works and they’re going to be commended for that. But generally they’re doing them to try to earn their way to heaven, but they have a lot of secret rights and a lot of secret things. And it really turns out to be anti-Bible, anti-Christ because of the views they have about Christ and about salvation and they work their way to heaven. We have a little booklet here by John Ankerberg that’s for a gift of $6 to Bible.
It’s about 70 or 80 pages long and it has the facts concerning the messianic lodge and the masons and it will absolutely blow your mind. I think you will want to get that and see what it has to say. but they really have a lot of secret things that they do, which are exposed by some. John Ankerberg also has a video where he has a former Mason who’s gotten saved and now knows Jesus as his Savior. And they go through and reenact some of these secret rights.
And as a result, John Ankerberg’s family was threatened with death. They burned his house down. I think they attempted to do that. And he really took a lot of wrath from the masons around the country who really objected to the expose of all these secret rights that they have. I would recommend that maybe get some of those materials and there are others that have written some excellent things that expose the Mason belief. But the G in the Mason ring and the Mason symbol can stand for any God.
It doesn’t necessarily mean the God of the Bible. It can include the Muslim God, Allah, which is really the moon God. So it’s really not a teaching that is biblical. It goes beyond that and is certainly something I would avoid as a Christian. You You should not become associated with the masons. You ought to do your homework to find out for sure. Don’t take my word for it. And that video, if you want to get it, well, I think we could probably order and have it available here.
But that video was really quite revealing and caused quite a stir against John and Akerberg for producing that. Thank you, Julian. And we’re so glad you called. We now have Dina in Tampa, Florida. Dina, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Yes, my name is Veena. I have a question about the Jehovah Witness. I’m unclear about the Jehovah Witness. Can you turn your radio down? Okay. Go ahead, Deena. Yes, I’m unclear about their beliefs. If you can tell me what do they believe in, they believe in Jesus Christ.
Well, they really believe Jesus is Michael the Archangel. So it’s easier to tell you what the Jehovah’s Witnesses do not believe. They do not believe in the Trinity. They do not believe in the deity of Christ. They do not believe in the deity of the Holy Spirit. They do not believe in salvation by faith. They do not believe in hell. They do not believe in celebrating birthdays. They do not believe in saluting the United States flag or being a legion to any particular country, nor do they believe in going to war.
and they do not believe in blood transfusions and and we can go on and on and on they are really a false group and you certainly do not want to be studying with the Jehovah’s Witnesses Jesus Christ is God and they deny that and Jesus says in John 824 write this one down he says if you believe not that I am you shall die in your sins now I am is the name of God when he appeared to Moses at the burning bush Jesus is claiming to be the very same God of the Old Testament that appeared to Moses in Exodus chapter 3.
And so he says in John 824, you shall die in your sins, for if you believe not that I am, you shall die in your sins. In other words, you’ll go to hell if you deny the deity of Christ. It says over in 1 John 2, 23, who’s whoever the ninth of the son, half not the father. So they are without the Father. That means they are Jehovah’s Witnesses without Jehovah. Amazing. It’s a false group. You don’t want to be near them.
I would definitely stay clear of the Jehovah’s Witnesses teaching. They are thoroughly and terribly wrong. They really don’t believe anything. The Bible teaches almost. It’s very easy to list all the things they don’t believe rather than what they do believe. And they don’t believe in the Christ of the Bible. And they certainly don’t trust Christ to take you to heaven. They are trusting in their works to get them to heaven. Thank you, Dina. And we appreciate that call. We now have Jerry in Zephyr Hills, Florida, and Jerry, welcome to the Bible on your own year.
I was wondering if you’d please explain two great verses personally. The first one is second correct. It ends 1-20. 1-20. And the other one is Romans 8-32. And I’ll hang out and listen to what you have to say. Okay, and I’ll try to get to those. I think that was first, was that 1 Corinthians? I can’t remember what it was now. 1 Corinthians, I think 1-20, let me look and see if that would be, possibly the one he said.
1 Corinthians 1 verse 20, and I got distracted, so I hope I got the right verse here. 1 Corinthians 1, chapter 1, verse 20 says, where is the scribe? Where is the wise? Where is the dispute of this world? Have not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? Of course, that is really an interesting passage here, an interesting verse. And verse 21 helps to explain that. For after that, in the wisdom of God, the world by wisdom, knew not God.
It pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. So the wonderful gospel message is the means by which we are saved. And man in his wisdom, which is faulty, thinks he can work his way to heaven, thinks he can earn his way to heaven, and that salvation is something that is earned or deserved. But the Bible makes it very clear that we cannot earn our way. God in His wisdom chose the foolishness of preaching. It’s foolishness in the eyes of the lost.
They think we who preach Christ are wasting our time and that it’s obviously a fairy tale or not true. But obviously this is the means by which God saves people. When you believe a wonderful gospel message, God saves you and saves you eternally. I believe the other verse was Romans 1 and verse 32. talks about lost people who knowing the judgment of God that they which commit such things and is a whole list of about 32 different sins, that they which commit such things are worthy of death not only do the same but have pleasure in them that do them.
And how true that is, the sin has a lot of companions and those who are in the different crimes and sins. He said, I’d gravitate to others that are doing the same. And they know that there’s a day of reckoning one day when they’ll stand before the living God. But they seem to ignore that and continue in their sinful behavior. They truly need to have their eyes open and realize that if they would only trust Jesus, that they could be forgiven, become a child of God, and God could give them the power that they would never sin in their life.
Thank you for that call. We now have a uh… let’s see here justice in deltina beach uh… for the deltina is over the east coast of for the welcome to the program from the morning early doing this morning uh… i actually have a question but all this kind of lengthy on are you familiar with what on secretism is in the bible because uh… what i got from secretism is within the bible is where you take a paganistic holiday or a ethnic ritual and you put God on it.
Kind of similar to the celebration of Mithra who was born on the 25th of December and this is actually our, which was the women’s folks, but this is actually our celebration of the birth of Christ. Well, we’re at a time right now for this half hour, but definitely Christ was not born December 25th. I think that’s quite plain, but I don’t think we’re going to change the birth date. And I think it’s a wonderful opportunity to proclaim Christ at that time of year.
So I definitely celebrate the birthday of Christ, but I tell people it’s not really the real date, but Christ is real. And that’s what’s important and that they need to trust Christ as Savior. I believe the real birthday of Christ is in October and we’ll probably talk about that this next month and talk about it from the Bible. We’re going to have to go to break but we’ll come back and do a second half hour and I hate to have to cut you off right there but we are going to do a second half hour Bible and keep your radio tuned right where it is and we’ll be back and do a second half hour of Bible and I hope you’ll stay with me for that.
Alright, we’ll be right back Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Well, I’m Dr. Englund and it’s wonderful to be with you today. Thanks for tuning into the broadcast We’re living in a most exciting time in history If I were to choose a time to live I couldn’t choose a better time because this is the days when we are really close and and live in this wonderful expectancy that Christ could come at any time.
And of course for us who are believers living right at the end of this present age called the Church Age, we’re going to be caught up to meet the Lord in the air and be a part of a group that will never be and will never die, that will be exempted from death and be simply transformed into our new bodies on the way up. Wow, what we watch in the news today really just highlights the fact that we’re in that time the Jewish people are back in the state of Israel We find the nations are in Trouble with each other and they have no real solutions.
There are weather changes The Bible talks about the sea and the waves roaring and I think we see the They trouble some changes in the weather which some areas are experiencing drought and others experiencing extreme rainfall and storms and other things that are occurring are truly a part of the in-time prophecies. But also the plagues, the incurable diseases that are available today for anyone to catch. I’m telling you, those things are kind of scary. Plus the weapons of mass destruction and how the battle of Armageddon will be nuclear and will take one third of all the people’s lives on all the earth.
I’m glad I’m leaving it to Rapture, but I’m glad I’m leaving it this time as well. I think people sense that there’s something going array that are lost. It’s a great time for us to witness. People can really tune in and can really discover the wonderful gospel at this time because I think they’re realizing that all the traditional things that they may be of interesting. in are going to fail. Only Christ can save someone. I’m glad you’re listening to Bible and I hope you’re enjoying it.
And we’re coming to you every day out of Tampa and of course the way that we’re able to do that is through the gifts. And prayers of you that listen. And so we’re going to go down to Brian in Pensacola, Florida. Brian welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air.
I appreciate your ministry and listen to it every day. I’m a curator. I had some information for a man at this call a while ago named Julian. Yes. That’s going to Dr. Spirri. So thanks. If I can give him two websites where he can get a lot more information and detailed information. One is from a pastor here in Pensacola. Dr. Chuck Baldwin. All the women. Turn a lot of information and they keep our breath. We’re kind of like watchdogs Well, Nick Daly is, and they keep track of what’s going on.
And we can see by the things that’s going on in this world, that things are trying to form a one more government at the present. So if a P-1-4 information enters the net, you can check those two websites and I hope they amount tremendously. I thank you for all you’re doing and telling the truth and standing on a word of God and that’s what we do up here across the old Baptist Church in Pimpth Thank you for that advice.
We have Albert in Richmond, Virginia Albert welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. I think I’ll bring up He was not patient enough. We have Glenn in Tampa, Florida Glenn Welcome Good morning. Could you explain why you think the earth is as old as you think it is? Alright, well I don’t know how old I think it is but I know it’s real. It says in verse 1 of Genesis, in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
So the earth was created in the beginning. Now when was the beginning? Well, the beginning is when space and time were created. And I believe that that probably was a very long time ago. So I believe human life on the planet though is rather recent. I think that only about 6,000 years ago God put man on the planet. But prior to that, apparently the earth was inhabited by plants, animals, dinosaurs and all of God’s angels. If you read, if you had a skill field Bible, the notes are just absolutely incredible that will help you with this.
Isaiah 4518 tells us that when God originally created the earth, He created it perfect and inhabited and He did not create it vain, V-A-I-N. The word vain in Hebrew is the very same word, the exact word translated void in Genesis 1-2. So God did not create the earth void as we find it in Genesis 1-2. That was the result of a judgment upon this earth. And I think we see the fossil evidence today of that judgment upon the original earth.
We have the fossilized plant life in the form of coal deposits. We have the fossilized animal life in the petroleum, the oil underneath the earth. So we’re seeing the results of the cataclysmic judgment that was worldwide. But Russia now has take claim to the North Pole because Russia wants to drill under the North Pole to get oil. Oil is all this animal I trapped that is in pockets that we call fossil fuel. This is all a part of the original Earth that was destroyed.
So I believe that we definitely have a pretty old Earth, but very recently, man was put on on the planet in a seven day, re-creative week. You know when the seven days were up, God told Adam to be fruitful and multiply and re-plenish the earth. He didn’t say, plenish the earth. He said, re-plenish. I wouldn’t make a big deal out of that except in Genesis chapter 9 and verse 1, after Noah’s flood, God used the same command in the Hebrew to tell Noah to be fruitful and multiply replenish the earth.
So we find that obviously in that case there was life. The life was destroyed and then he was to repopulate the earth. The same command is given to Noah. Plus many other evidences that I have several CDs on that will detail that. But I think the earth is old but the human life on this planet is only 6,000 years old. Adam was placed on the planet about 4,000 years B.C. Hope that helps a little bit. We’re now going to go to some of the other phone lines we have.
Albert in Richmond, Virginia and Albert welcome to Bibleline. You’re on the air. Yes, sir. We’re doing James. We did what the man coming into your congregation being well dressed and everything. And then this week we’re going to be doing about the faith and works. Yes. And when I read this about Abraham and about Rahab, it seems like it says they were justified by their faith. It was considered righteous. And it says that, you know, it seems like, almost like if you didn’t understand it, that they were saved by what they did, but I do know what you said about 1 Corinthians 3, 14.
And it says there, your works will be burned up, but that you would be saved through the flames. I was wondering what that meant to you to save through the flames part. Would you help me explain that part about faith and work in James Chapter 2? Absolutely. Well, first of all, that in 1 Corinthians 3.15 is talking about us but our works being tried by fire one day at the judgment seat of Christ. 1 Corinthians 3, 11 through 15, talks about our works one day will be examined by fire at the Judge of the State of Christ.
If our works were worthy of reward, they would remain through the fire. If they were for self and not for God and not worthy of reward, they would be burned up. It says their Fannie Maeve’s work shall be burned. He shall suffer loss, loss of reward, but he himself shall be saved. He will still be saved, even if he did nothing for Christ. Paul is telling us that we need to serve Lord because God wants to reward us. James is talking about the exact same thing.
James is talking about believers who have no works, who don’t have any reward. It says in verse 14, my brethren, what does it profit? The word profit speaks about something that you earn, something that you gain, and that’s rewards. and you’ll have no profit or no rewards if you don’t have any works. Now Abraham and Rahab at the end, they demonstrate their faith by their works and they would be rewarded for that, but they were not saved by doing that.
Verse 23 is a marvelous verse because it quotes in Genesis chapter 15 verse 6 the verse on Abraham got saved. It says there the scripture was fulfilled in James 2 23 that said that Abraham believed God and it was counted in for righteousness. When he was saved Abraham didn’t even have a son. Isaac wasn’t even born yet but 40 years later which is the incident that James is recurring or referring to is when he offered up his son Isaac.
Isaac was probably about thirty three years of age. I think he was a perfect type of Christ and probably the same age that Christ was when Christ was down to the cross. So it wasn’t a little boy he was offering up. He was offering up his only son who is now about thirty three years of age. And he’s willing to slay him because he believed God. So he’s demonstrating his faith that here forty years after he got saved, that he believed God such that it says in Hebrews that even if he slew his son, he knew that God would have to raise his son back from the dead.
Because God made a promise that his son who wasn’t even married yet would have children and his son’s son would have children and there would be a promise seed down the line that was B would be Jesus and he believed all that was going to take place. So he actually therefore had a picture of the death of the burial and resurrection of Christ in his own son Isaac and Rahab as well was willing to sacrifice her own life because of her faith.
She believed the gospel message was saved. You read about that in Joshua 211 and Rahab Of course, hid the spies if they had found them. On her roof, they would have killed her and her family, but she obviously risked her life and demonstrated her faith and certainly will be rewarded for that. So it’s really talking about believers earning rewards and displaying their faith by their works but not being saved by their works. Didn’t that salvation of the gift coach?
Didn’t you say like Abraham said was imputed to him for righteousness by simply believing in Metanoia right Metanoia. Yes he changed his mind and he believed and he was saved yes. Right thank you. You’re so welcome thank you for calling in and that was Albert in Richmond Virginia. We now have Good morning Dr. Hank. I have a question, some lady called up. When you get to heaven or forgiven at the time of belief and when you get to heaven on judgment day those sins are judged against you.
Is that where tears come and in heaven? In other words, yes, as far as salvation is concerned, they’re forgiven, forgotten, and gone and never be brought up again. But as far as, and I believe it’s from the time you get saved on, not prior to your salvation, but whatever things you do, good or bad, will be brought up at the judgment seat of Christ. Second Corinthians 5, 10 tells us that. It says we must all appear as believers before that judgment seat of Christ, whereas whatever we’ve done good or bad may be examined that will be rewarded accordingly.
And so yes, as far as rewards are concerned, our deeds will be brought up again. Thank you very much. You’re very welcome. Second Corinthians 5, 10 says whether we’ve done good or bad, it’ll be brought up at that time. We’re going to go now to Ken in Decatur, Illinois, and Ken, welcome to Bibleline your own year. Yes, Dr. Hank, I almost caught the last part of that guy that just called in. That’s the reason I called too. Yesterday the lady that called in and was asking about 1 John 1 9, you know if we confess our sins, he is faithful to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness and only caught the last part of the other guy that it just called and you gave that 1 Corinthians verse.
What I wanted to know about this, and this is truly, truly a troubling thing, I sent you an email on it and I couldn’t wait to get the answer so I called in, if God forgives us our sins and cleanses us from all unrighteousness, for us to go through this life thinking that, well, yeah, I made this mistake yesterday, but then I confessed it and I know God forgave me and he cleansed me. But you’re saying he’s still holding that in his back pocket and waiting for me to stand in front of me, he’s going to bring us back up again, so now look here Kenny.
Yeah I know you confessed that you knew you were wrong and I knew you were wrong, but I’m still going to require a pound of flesh out of you for this. There’s something out of balance here that’s, you know, it’s just I’m really, really having a hard time understanding this. And I’d like you to go in a little deeper on that, if you don’t have time to date, take time tomorrow because I’m sure there’s a lot of other people listening that really want know how we can confess our sins and be cleansed and then yet understand and even if we turn from it and try to never do it again and yet feel like God is going to come back up, pull this out of his back pocket and say okay, you did pretty good here, here, here from the time you were saying that’s almost getting into works again where you’re feeling like
you’re under bondage all the time. So anyway I’d like to hear your answer then and I’ll just hang up Dr. Hank. I really respect your opinion and your insight, but this is so, so, so troubling. Thank you very much. Well, again, I think you have to go back and realize that we’re talking about three different areas here. There are three tenses of salvation. And I think that’ll help clarify that. If you have a Scofield Bible, go to the footnotes and read about that because it talks about how there is the past tense of salvation where your sins are paid for at the cross and forgiven and forgotten and are gone.
But then there’s the present tense of salvation where we’re delivered from the power of sin. And we’re going to be judged for how we did on that at the judgment seat of Christ. And the Bible says, for example, in Matthew 10, that when that judgment occurs for the It says in verse 26 of Matthew 10, fear them not therefore, but there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed and hid that shall not be known. What I tell you in darkness, that’s speaking in the light.
What you hear in the ear that preach you upon the housetops. And of course, it says that whatever we have done now will be proclaimed at the housetops in heaven. In other words, it’s all going to be coming out and it will all be revealed. Everything we’ve done will be made manifest in 1 Corinthians chapter 4 talks about that also where everything we’ve done, after sins we’ve been saved, will be coming up and will be evaluated for reward. There’s no escaping that.
Then eventually the third tense of of salvation is when we are delivered from the presence of sin, we’re in heaven. There is no sin whatsoever at all that we’re forever delivered from that presence of sin. So, as far as your salvation is concerned, there’s no back pocket. There’s nothing ever going to come up against you. You’ll never be condemned again. You’re not condemned now. You won’t be condemned tomorrow. You won’t be condemned in the future. Your sins are gone.
But there are consequences to your sins that will still come up as far as the degree of reward that we’re going to receive one day. and that is obviously going to take place. You know, as far as you’re sinning, you know, you can confess your sin. For example, Lissa, you’re a child living at home and you get angry and you take your baseball bat and you hit the wall in your bedroom and you just tear a big hole in the wall there, you can confess it to your mom and dad and say, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to, and they can completely forgive you, but it doesn’t remove the hole in the wall.
You still have the damage to the house that will carry on, and that will obviously need to be repaired. And obviously the day when we give an account for that is at the judgment seat of Christ when we stand before the Lord. Hope that helps a little bit. We’ll talk more about it maybe tomorrow. We’ll try to work on that. I got all the wrong verses on Jerry earlier. He went in Romans 832. So I’m going to go there now in Romans 832, let’s see what that says, Romans 832.
And it says here, I’m almost there, Romans 8. I’m working my way, I’m in Acts, I’m almost Romans Romans 8. And verse 32 says, excuse me, he that stared not his own son, but delivered him up for us all. How shall he not with him? free to give us all things. Well, that is a marvelous verse. And obviously it tells us that if God was willing to give Jesus to die for us, Jesus is God’s only begotten Son. And if He did not spare Him up for us as He died to pay for our sins at the cross, how shall we not with Him free to give us all things?
That means we become part of an inheritance where we really inherit all things. It says earlier in the chapter, verse 17 of chapter eight, if we’re children and we are, as we trust Christ, we become born in the God’s family, then we’re heirs of God and it says, join heirs with Christ. That means we’re an equal heir with Christ. That’s mind boggling. So truly we are made rich through Christ. The other verse that you were asking about second Corinthians, I have first Corinthians.
Second Corinthians, let’s see what it says and I’m almost there. Second Corinthians chapter 1 and this will be verse 20. Second Corinthians 1.20 says, for all the promises of God in Him are Yea and in Him amen. So says you’re unto the glory of God and my aunt. So basically all God’s promises are yes, in the words he’s never going to say no to a promise that he’s made. So if he promised to save you, for example, forever, you’re going to be safe forever.
He’s never going to cash out and never going to lose you, according to his promise. And I love that. So whenever God says yes, he means yes. And he tells us that we also ought to be the same. If we say we’re going to do something, We ought to hold to our word because God is our example that He holds to His word whatever He promises He’s going to hold Himself to it and keep that. Alright, we have a few offer questions.
Maybe we’ll have time to take one here as the program is ending. Let’s go down and see what we’ve got here. You’ve got Robert in Pompano Beach says, I know this is a hard question to answer. But why are so many innocent people hurt like children with diseases? Also what would you say to somebody that places their trust in Christ and says that that is a work? Those are two different questions obviously. about the people being hurt. That’s all because of sin.
When Adam sinned, that brought a curse upon the earth and obviously we are seeing the results of the sin nature and the curse that has passed upon the whole human race. Not until we are in eternity will we escape the consequences of sin and our future tense of our salvation will be delivered from the president of sin and will never see these things ever again. We have Patty in Tampa before that she says is a What about cremation? Does the Bible say anything about creation, cremation?
And is it acceptable? Well, it won’t affect your salvation. And the Jewish people always buried because they were making a statement they believed in the resurrection. And the body would be given a new body. But today because of the tremendous cost of a traditional funeral, a lot of people are going for cremation because it saves the family who is surviving. is surviving and a lot of these tremendous costs that it costs today. So it won’t affect your salvation whatsoever, Patty.
So it doesn’t really matter as far as eternity, but I prefer myself to be buried, but basically sometimes you have no control. You might be killed in a fire and be cremated involuntarily, but you’d still be saved. Hope that helps. We are out of time. We’re gonna have to end the program. Hope you’ll join us again tomorrow And I hope you’ll tell your friends about the program and if you can give us a call get our resource sheet And if you can also give a gift to Bible and my credit card or tell us you’re praying for us We sure do love you and God bless you.

We had fun being with you today.
I hope you’ve enjoyed the program and we’ve enjoyed bringing it to you. What a call to your attention. We do have a resource center. We have some excellent things that will help you. The Scofield Bible, for many of the questions we’re asked today, you could find great answers on these questions in the Scofield Bible. It deals with questions of doctrine. And that’s what’s so important today in most Bibles. Don’t deal with doctrine, but that’s really the bottom line. You know, it says in 2 Timothy 3, 16, all scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine.
The first thing on the list there is doctrine. So right up front, the Bible is given to give us doctrine and to have sound doctrine, you have to have your belief system in line with the Bible. And the Scofield is just excellent. I was just talking to a friend this morning that called up the Moody Bible Institute Correspondence Department. They have the C.I.S. Schofield course, which you can get and buy. It really is intended, if you do it right, to be a four-year course through all the notes of Dr.
Schofield and Schofield Bible. I think they send you about five hardback volumes in addition to the test and so on. It’s quite an extensive thing. This is valuable and I’m so glad my friend got it and if you get done with that course and just studying the notes in the Scofia Bible, you will know your Bible. You will definitely know it very well and I’m glad that the Moody Bible Institute still continues to have that course called the CI Scofia corresponds course and that’s a wonderful, wonderful investment in learning the Bible if you want to get something that’s really going to help you.
Anyway, we have many things in our resource and I hope you’ll call and find out about them and get some of those We have to go keep look it up. Jesus is coming. We’ve got a run. We’ll be back Lord willing tomorrow till then have a great day and Join us tomorrow and tell your friends about Bible and You’ve been listening to Bibleline, a presentation of Bibleline Ministries of Tampa, Florida.
