It looks like the last week of February, first week of March. And we’ll have details sometime this week and brochures to let you in on the trip number 15 for me. I’ve been 14 times, will be studying the Bible at every place where we stop, and you’ll be on some significant ground I guarantee you, everywhere in Israel.

We have so many things and we just finished that Gospel of John study and that was a good one. 20 hours of teaching and we have broken it into two nice CD jackets, one holds 10 hours of teaching, the other one holds 10 hours of teaching so you can get it in half and half. We’ll take a look at the scriptures and I hope you will join me in studying the Bible. It says in 2 Corinthians 11. Second Corinthians chapter 11. If you look with me in verse 3, it says, I fear, lest by any means as the serpent beguiled Eve.

That was Mrs. Adam, the serpent being Satan. The scene is back in the garden. And here it says, lest by any means as the serpent Satan beguiled Eve through his subtlety. So your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is simple. Isn’t that amazing? It really tells us here that the fact that the message of Christ is simple, that Satan would take that and use it to corrupt your mind so that you would not believe on Christ as Savior.

How many times have I heard somebody say, that’s too simple. That’s too simple. I had a radio lister call me from Pittsburgh and he said, common sense would tell you that you’re wrong. And I said, well, we’re not basing our beliefs on common sense. We’re basing them on the word of God. And the word of God says, there’s nothing we can do to be saved. But simply trust in Christ’s finished work in his shed blood. Only the blood of Christ could wash away your sin.

His death at the cross could pay for your sin debt. And so we simply believe the Word of God and trust what He has to say. But it’s amazing how that it is simple and people like this gentleman stumbled over that and said, common sense of day it tells you got to do more than just trust Christ as Savior. Pray for Him, He’s lost because if you trust in Jesus plus anything, you’ve never really trusted Christ. I’ve seen so many people that feel like they’re more secure, more sure of heaven because of all the things that they’re doing that they’re counting on.

If I were to look at you and you were sitting in my church, if I were to ask you, are you trusting the pew here in my church to hold you from falling to the floor? And you would say yes. And then if I looked Upon close examination, there is a strong wire hooked to the rafters of the church ceiling. Down comes that wire from the ceiling and there’s a big safety harness hooked to that wire which is firmly secured to your body.

I would have a tendency to say, you know, I don’t think you’re trusting the pew at all to hold you off the floor. really saying, should the pew fail? That I have this safety wire and the safety harness that I’m trusting in. And a lot of people on first examination will say, yeah, I believe in Jesus. But when you look a little more carefully, they have a rope of water baptism, a rope of church membership, a rope of being living the Christian life.

And all these things are really in addition to Christ and they’re really saying that I’m not really trusting Christ. Should He fail me? I have all these other things that will assure me of entrance into heaven, my baptism, my confirmation, my Christian life, my membership in the church and so on. Let me read this verse again. It’s 2 Corinthians 11-3 and it says here, I fear less by any means as the serpent beguiled his e through his subtlety so your mind should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

It’s really saying here that the message of the gospel is simple and it’s so simple that people stumble over that and they say it’s got to be more complicated. that burst down because boy the devil is clever and he will use the very fact that the message of the gospel is a simple one to cause you to stumble over that and maybe not trust Christ because you think it has to be more complicated. Your so-called common sense might tell you that but common sense doesn’t make any sense when it contradicts the Bible.

You have to believe God’s Word over whatever you might think. Also now if you go to 2 Timothy with me in chapter 2 in verse 24 talks about us witnessing the people that are lost. And it says here, the servant of the Lord must not strive. In other words we are not to try to force people to believe or try to threaten them to get them to believe. We are simply to bring the message. It says that we’re to be gentle.

Under all men, after teach, patient, this is true of all of us as believers. We all ought to have these qualities when we are trying to lead someone to Christ. It says here in verse 25, in meekness, instructing those that oppose themselves. I love that last phrase because people that argue against the gospel that you find in the Bible that salvation is a gift that’s been paid for, it’s free. It’s offered to all who would put their trust in Jesus and his death, burial, resurrection, and it’s only by faith that we would be saved.

It says here, those who argue against that are opposing themselves. It’s like they’re shooting themselves in the foot. They’re actually fighting against their own salvation because as long as they reject the wonderful message of the Bible they’ll never be saved. But look at this last phrase and this is interesting because here we have that word repent used again and this is the Greek word metaneo or metanoia means a change of mind. It does not mean turn from sin and look at how it’s used here.

It says here, if God per adventure will give them repentance, that’s a change of mind to the acknowledging of the truth. That’s pretty plain in the context. It doesn’t mean turn from sin. The Greek word simply means a change of mind. And here it talks about repentance, a change of mind, to acknowledge the truth. Now Jesus is the truth. Jesus said in John 14, 6, I am the way, I am the truth, I am the life, and no one can come into the Father, but by me Christ is the truth.

And when you acknowledge that Christ is the truth, that He is the way, that He is the life, that He is the only way to heaven. And trust Him as your Savior, you become saved. That’s what repentance is. It’s a change of mind to acknowledge the truth. Let me give you that verse again. It’s 2 Timothy 2, 25. In meekness we should be instructing those that oppose themselves. If God peradventure will give them repentance, a change of mind to the acknowledging of the truth.

When you change your mind and acknowledge the truth, that is the scriptures and Christ who is the truth and receive him as your Savior, you become saved. And when that happens, it tells us in verse 26 that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil. David talks about Satan using traps to capture his victims. And the last part of the verse says, who are taken captive by him at his will. Just like a hunter will set a trap to capture an animal.

Maybe it might be an enclosure where the animal goes in to get food and then the door closes and he can’t get back out. Have you ever seen a crab trap? That’s the way it works. They go in to get maybe some fish that’s left inside and they can’t find their way back out and when you pull up the crab trap it’s full of crabs. I’ve done that many a time. While there are different snares that the devil uses to keep all the people that are lost, to keep them lost, to keep them from finding the truth.

And one of those is the simplicity of the message of the gospel. Another is the bad translation of the word repent where it does not mean turning from sin or sorrow for sin which would be adding works to salvation. I was talking to a person just this weekend who attends the church and I understand that they have boxes of tissues all up in the front of the church because they in that church teach that repentance is sorrow for sin.

And so they expect to see people coming down the aisle crying and shedding tears. And that shows to them that they have repented. Boy, how far from the truth, the Greek word is metanoia. It means a change of mind. Nowhere, nowhere does the Bible ever say that repentance is sorrow for sin or turning from sin. Here we We find it clearly used in 2 Timothy 225 that it’s a repentance, a change of mind to the acknowledging of the truth.

I’m amazed that this can even happen. I’m a scientist. A plus B has equal C. I graduated in electrical engineering from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. And I learned that 2 plus 2 is 4 in America, in Russia, in China, in Australia, and outer space. And yet, you know… Oh. When you go to churches, they might say two plus two is seven and the people in the congregation will say, Hallelujah, Amen, preach it. I mean, I can’t believe the things that are said and believe that are contrary to the Bible, that people believe wholeheartedly because they’ve been misled.

repent is one of those snares of the devil. They keep someone trapped in their works because they are trusting in the fact that they are going to do something, stop sinning or turn from their sin or shed tears, show genuine repentance supposedly. And genuine repentance is a change of mind to acknowledge the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I’m going to go first to somebody’s office of Patty in Tampa, Florida calls in. She says the Prime Minister of Israel wants to share Jerusalem with the Palestinians. How would that fit in with end time prophecy? Well, numerous verses. Mike of the Prophet says in chapter 4 verse 11 that the enemies of Israel, the countries that surround Israel, and there are 22 Muslim countries. All desire Zion or Jerusalem to be their capital. Zachariah chapter 12 verse 2 and 3 says Jerusalem would be a cup of intoxication to all the neighbors of Israel.

They would want it desperately and that’s exactly what’s happening. In Zechariah 12-3 it says Jerusalem would be made a burdensome stone for all people on the earth as the end times come the battle would be over Jerusalem. It’s amazing that this is going to happen. It says back in Zechariah 14-2 that God would gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle. When that was written about twenty-eight hundred years ago, who would have ever believed? Jerusalem was just an insignificant city.

Who would have ever believed that all the nations of the earth would gather in battle against Jerusalem? Today nobody is laughing. Today nobody is laughing. Obviously we see the armies of the world today gathering in the Middle East, exactly like the Bible said that it would happen. Patty, this is a sign that we are in the last days. Jonathan in Tampa calls in off airwaves this question. He says, why were the Gnostic Gospels banned from the Bible? Well, first of all, they were not written by an authentic spokesperson like an apostle.

That’s right. They were all written by others. Plus, they were not written in the timespan when the New Testament record was collected. When 1896 rolled around and the last book, the book of Revelation, was added to the Bible, that concluded the New Testament record. Nothing was to be added or taken away from the Bible from that point on. The Gnostic Gospels were written about 200 years after the Bible was completed. They never were accepted by the early Christians as being the Word of God and never should be accepted because they don’t meet the standard and usually they absolutely contradict and reject the wonderful teachings that we do have within the New Testament Gospels.

The Gnostic Gospels are usually filled with secret knowledge that only certain ones can understand. You can always know if somebody is talking about some secret knowledge that you are going on the wrong path. The Mormons do that, the Masons do that, the Catholics do that, the mystery of the Eucharist. There’s no such thing in the Bible as the mystery of the Eucharist. The Eucharist, of course, the bread used in communion, but the Catholic Church teaches that it’s the actual transformation of those elements into the very body and the very blood of Christ, which is false and not true, and therefore they offer up Christ again.

For sin every time the masses offer. That’s completely blasphemous because Christ only died once and will never die a second time a third time a fourth time. He died once to pay for the sins of all mankind past and future and there needs to be no other sacrifice ever offered again. We have Crawford in St. Petersburg waiting and Crawford welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Yes, Dr. Haney. Listen, I want to ask you, I got a question for you.

I got in a little dispute with some of you, we weren’t arguing about it, but I know I had seen it in the Bible, but I’ve seen it couldn’t find it. I was talking about, I think I was speaking in the book of Matthew about what no one should call them, tell Rabbi, freeze the problem. And the guys, they want to tell me to say, well, if more to it than that, If I wasn’t there, you pick up fathers all over the Bible, what Jesus called him, you know, saying about the father, there’s a father there, you know, and that’s one of the questions.

I want to know what’s good that was in. And before you give it to me in there, I want to make sure I build it. I’m going to hang up. Then I can be able to write it down when you give it to me. You can tell me what you, where is it at, you know, and what’s out wrong about what I was saying because I was meant to know that no one should call themselves, Father, Rabbi, or Priest.

That’s what I have read in the Bible. And I want to know what I was getting a long understanding, not a long message from that, or a long interpretation, however you want to say it. And plus, I went to a ceremony over the weekend and they did our nation of, you know, ordained in bishops and pastors and everything. And one woman was ordained as a bishop, a guy, she was a bishop, or whatever. And they went into about Gabriel, she was a judge.

So if she was a judge, you’d say that a woman couldn’t be a bishop. But I said to myself, that’s still wrong. I think it was out of the conscience of the Bible. I want to know if I’m wrong about thinking like that. And you’d say out of the conscience with the Bible, and they want to make their own judgment of what they’re doing. OK? And I’m going to end up meeting them in after midnight. Thank you Crawford Crawford there apparently as outside noise coming in.

First of all women should not be preachers or bishops. This is forbidden in the Bible. Notice if you will 1 Timothy 2, 11 through 15 where it tells us plainly that women were to be silent in the church, that they were not to usurp authority over the men, that they were not to be teachers of the word. It gives us a number of things that women can teach, but they’re not to teach men and they’re to teach other women, but not the Bible.

They’re not really to be Bible teachers according to Titus. Titus gives us a list of things that women can teach. It’s a different Greek word for teacher than the one that’s used in Timothy where it’s used exclusively of teaching God’s word that the women were not to usurp authority over the men or to be teachers of the word of God. It says over in Titus chapter 2, the age of women likewise that they be in behaviors become of holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine.

Here it says, teachers of good things, not the Bible necessarily, that they may teach the young women to be, here’s the list, teach young women to be sober, to teach young women to teach young women to be to teach young women to be to teach young women to be to teach young women to be to their own husbands so that’s kind of clear about what they are to teach and obviously to back into the Old Testament history and used Deborah as an example of what the Bible was saying here.

There were women who did in dark times step up, but that was not really God’s plan. God never intended for men to have more than one wife, and yet they did it, the Old Testament. Certainly we don’t find approval in that. It was always wrong and it always carried consequences. So the Bible says that we’re not to do that. Now, the verse you’re looking for is Matthew 23.9, where Christ says here, that, called no man your father upon the earth.

The Roman Catholic Church greatly violates that. And in spiritual matters, you’re not to look to anyone, but your heavenly father, who is our father. When you trust Christ, you become born again into God’s family, and he is our heavenly father. but we are not to look to others in that way. The Bible talks about how that we are actually equal. As believers in verse 8 it says be not called Rabbi for one is your master or master teacher which Rabbi means teacher even Christ and all ye are brethren.

So we find that Christ is above us as he is God and he is the head of the church. But all of us really are in the same footing as believers that we are all brethren. There is not some separation between the preachers and the laypeople or the clergy and the laypeople were all equal before God and can all directly learn from the Word of God. We can also go to the Lord in prayer without any other human being involved in the process.

There is no greater news in all the world than the good news of the gospel where the Bible tells us that Jesus Christ paid it all by His death and shed blood. pertinent to what Christ did for me at the cross. You can even come earlier that for my adult class at 915, worship at 1030, the dinner that will occur about noon and then the baptism at 3 in the afternoon, making a call and get information and get up on the list.

We’re going to go to the phone lines in just a minute that number is 1-800-576-3771. Alright we have Tim in Pinellas Park calling and leaving another off air question. This one is Jesus had no beginning because He is God. How can He be the first born of creation? And the answer is, and that’s in Colossians 1, 15, it’s a title of headship. And although in the Bible, the firstborn in position was not always the firstborn in order of birth.

You might remember the story of Jacob and Esau. Esau was the firstborn, but Jacob got the birthright and he had the title of firstborn even though he was secondborn. And so Jesus has this title of headship. He’s the first born, the spiritual leader of all of creation, and Colossians 1.15 has that. So that’s the answer. He is God, but he has this title even though he was not born as God, but only of the flesh. he is the first born a title of power and authority that Christ himself has.

Joe and Timbert Pines calls in, who do you endorse for the presidential election in 2008? If no one, what does the Christian do as far as voting for our country’s leaders? Well, I think we’re still pretty far out, but to me it’s scary what we have in our country today, it is really scary. We are in the end times. I don’t know if you are aware of what happened in California, Arnold Schwarzenegger signed into law a A ruling that bans the phrases mom and dad, father and mother from the schools, and even allows boys and girls to use the opposite restrooms if they so choose.

And we’re living in a crazy time. I can’t believe I’m reading that, but that came out Saturday on the world that daily. Apparently the world is going upside down and we need as believers to set it right side back up by bringing the Bible back into the lives of people in America. I think we’re living close to the Lord’s return though and I don’t know that we’re going to be able to pull it off. I think the Lord’s coming and the Bible tells us clearly that evil days would come and evil men would draw worse and worse deceiving and being deceived.

Second Timothy 3 gives us a big chapter showing what would happen in the last days. I think we’re there. We’re going to go to Bartow, Florida and we have Mary on the line. And Mary, we’re going to invite you to Bible and come on in. You’re on the air. Oh, thank you. I have two questions for you, Pastor Hank. One of them comes from Genesis 4, verse 16. It talks about God sent Cain into the lander, not, I think it is.

And he said he’d put a mark up on him so nobody would kill him. Well, there’s this pastor I was listening to this morning that said that’s because he had created all the races on the sixth day. and then he needed the killer of the land, so he created Adam on the eighth day. And then I have a question about Revelation 12, verse six and seven. He also said that Michael, the archangel, is holding Satan’s body, and that’s who, he Satan himself is gonna be the antichrist, and that’s who’s coming back when he releases him.

And I’ll hang up and listen to your answer, and you have a God bless day. I don’t know where you find these broadcasters, but I guess there’s a lot of them out there that are very confused. Certainly none of that that we just heard is true. You know, when lot, they’re rather not lot, but I mean, cane, killed able. They weren’t just babies in the sandbox. The murder took place when cane able were about 125 years of age because part of the The curse was that women would have multiple births, twins, and triplets, and so on.

It is believed easily by the fact that they committed the murder about 125 years after Adam and Eve had that keen and evil as children, that the population of the world could have been at least 100,000 to 200,000 at the time of the murder. So Cain even himself recognized that he was in trouble. He says, everyone that finds the facial sway me, there was lots of relatives out there that would have wanted to take his life. And that’s why I could put the mark on him to prevent them from taking revenge and taking his life.

And he was banished to the land of Nod. But there’s no such thing as Satan having a human body, although he will in dwell and empower the Antichrist just as he came into the body of Judas and empowered him at the time of the betrayal. The Antichrist will be a man, but he will be empowered by Satan during the tribulation period. But that’s not true that God created all the races. And then man or Adam on the sixth day that’s totally made up in somebody’s mind, not bibble at all.

Good morning to you and I have a question, a recent thing I’ve noted is a statement that seems to have created quite a fact. Something like like the Jews need to be perfected. Can you clarify that for me? Well, you know, began with Nietzsche and of course Hitler, they all believed in evolution, which is why they come up with these conclusions, that the Jews didn’t evolute as well as other races and needed to be eliminated, so they wanted to eliminate them.

Evolution really is the creation of racism because it says that we are not created equal. You know, our Christian forefathers put it in the Constitution that we were created equal under God. And that is certainly true and what a wonderful statement of faith they had placed in our Constitution. But Hitler went with that whole premise and was exterminating them because he believed the most advanced race was the Aryan race, the white blonde, and everybody that wasn’t needed to be eliminated from the planet.

And so that’s why he killed six million Jews and many others as well to get rid of the inferior races. And apparently obviously she’s bought into the lie that Hitler had embraced back in the 40s. How sad. And obviously she should be reprimanded for that for sure. Thank you for calling in. We now have Sam in Lakeland, Florida. Sam, welcome to Bible and You’re on the air. Hello, how you doing? I enjoy your approach and everything. You were talking about some a few minutes ago and it’s still on my mind a couple of days ago.

You were talking about how Christian is, how Christian back away from a lot of things. I was just thinking about those days about Christian. I hear a lot of Christian not talking They don’t have a bit of personal encounter. That’s a devil we should be. And stuff like that. And I stand on my mind, I say, now, when people was born, they were born with spirits of dead. So it was in the darkness. So it’s understandable. But the devil don’t have no date because he doesn’t.

And in fact, the name is amazing. I said that Christian not, just a baby, stopping him, they’re backing up, not doing a lot of things. I said, first Christian said not to have been Christian. That’s one of the most loved days. It’s no other day show love, but it’s Christmas. And this man would come here and they’d say, he’s from another country and he’d come up with no gays over there. And I hear a lot of Christians in my history and never come into the United States.

But that means, still as a people standing, all churches should have prayed for when they come into the light of the world, which has been supposed to be Reverend Christian in the United States. like all the churches have been trained for God to touch his heart so he can go back when he comes back in this country. Maybe he would open up no more Christianity and maybe him God would save him also. So I was just thinking in that category and I wanted to know he was talking about it a while ago and I just want to agree with you because it’s still in my mind because Christians now they’re backing on from a lot of things.

That’s why I gave and all this stuff getting the called Christians is not. not even voting in different things because of this but they separate church, separate church and church and that should be because church for the gold to the state and get government in the Christian index and the privilege and all that kind of stuff because they bring the light in. Isn’t that right? Amen. You’re right, Sam and appreciate that call. Absolutely. Christmas is a wonderful holiday and we know it’s not the correct date but it’s a wonderful opportunity for us to talk about Jesus.

And of course there are many who don’t want us to celebrate Christmas, but I think it’s a powerful, powerful opportunity to talk to our children and to the world about Jesus and who He is and tell the true story about Christ. So I don’t have a problem. In fact, I really believe that Christ is born in October, So I like to celebrate twice. So I don’t think it hurts to celebrate the fact that Christ came into this world every day of the year, the fact that Jesus came and went to the cross and died on the cross and paid for our sins is the greatest message that’s ever occurred.

Of course I’ve been a job. I think we should not have allowed him even to come into the country, but he obviously was advancing his own cause and he wants to bring about obviously world war to hopefully bring back the Muslim Messiah that will come apparently when the world has these troubles going on. So he wants to use nuclear weapons against Israel, against the West and he would like to see us all dead. So you have to pay attention to what they’re saying over there in Iran as to sometimes what we hear over here.

But he doesn’t hide, it seems like, his position. He tells it like it is. We are the enemy. We are the great Satan. We deserve to be killed. And so does Israel. And he would like to be the one to carry it out. We have David now in Sun City Center. David, welcome to Bibleline your On The Air.

David are you there? Yes. David? Yes. All right. Hello. You’re on the air David. Yes. You’re wrong about Ann Coulter. She’s a born-again Christian. And when she says about the Jews being perfected she means that she wants the Jews to become born again. And… Oh I didn’t hear her right then. Yes. She is muted by non-Christians for this statement. She’s a born-again Christian. You should have her on your show but you’re… Right. Okay. She… you i didn’t know the context of that statement and so if if you mean i understand that there’s some that’s used often when uh…

uh… we talked about jewish bands or we talked about a jew who’s a completed you and that term completed you means that they now have uh… embrace their messiah and receive them as their savior if that’s what she’s saying then obviously uh… that is the case uh… that you are not wrong well i’m glad you brought that out thank you david Yeah, and also the fear of the number 13 is that something a Christian should have. It’s called Trish Condecophobia.

About the fear of the number 13 is that just a phobia that’s by the world or what? I think it is, but it’s interesting that the number 13 does appear in the Bible in relationship to Satan again and again. We know that when the Lord had the Passover the final Last Supper, there were twelve there, Christ and twelve disciples, but one of them was a devil, one of them was Judas and Walt with Satan. So the thirteenth one was Satan.

We find that in the book of Revelation when it talks about the Antichrist and about Satan, in the 13th chapter of Revelation and so on and so on and so on. There’s so many species. But I don’t, it doesn’t bother me at all. Some buildings you go in and you can’t push an elevator button for the 13th floor. They simply go 12 and 14 to avoid that for people who have that fear. But it does bother me. Every day it goes by, you got the 13th minute, the 13th second and so forth.

Oh yeah. really bother a Christian about this 13 business but but but the phobia is Tris candecaphobia. If Tris Tia for DEC, decaphobia Tris candecaphobia but yeah clear that up on Ann Colter because she’s a born-ian Christian and heavily heavily persecuted by well Michael Savvies and everybody else or I mean they’re just after her terribly. Thank you for saying she she wanted to know about Jews going to hell and said Well, they won’t be going to hell if they’re completed you.

In other words, except in Christ. So that’s what it was. OK. Good to say thank you so much. The number 13 didn’t seem to affect Dan Marino very well for the Miami Dolphins. She had never in her whole life ever said such a thing as that. She’s for the Jewish people. She was in the statement she was talking about evolution and how Hitler used evolution to slaughter the Jews. I mean, my goodness, that woman’s as good a crazy as anyone I’ve ever ever listened to. And so anyway, we got that all cleared up. But that gentleman, I’m glad you’re here. and needs to go back and re-listen to what he thought he heard or change his mind about what he’s saying because there’s something bad wrong there with what he’s doing.

I don’t care, Ian. He might, when somebody jumps on you, we all need to go after them too when you haven’t said something. But another thing, anybody that missed your Sunday sermon yesterday needs to go on the Internet this week and listen to it, that was one of the better ones. All of yours are good, but that one was just so excellent. And after you were done a friend of mine sent me an email about that Arnold Schwarzenegger business out there and I sent the whole article to me.

And you were right on the money and I’m telling you, I think the coming of the Lord Jesus. in the lordy’s i think our last prayer has come quickly lordy’s i don’t think her room to pray out of the mess we’re in this country god bless you doctor and thank you very much and everybody listening go with that so that they’re going to go out there all right Alright. And the first one up at the top is yesterday’s sermon. You could watch and listen to that on the… We have Matthew in Massachusetts, leaves an offer question and he says, can believers claim healing power from the shed but of Jesus Christ? Well ultimately Matthew we’re going to be healed in heaven, we’re going to get brand new bodies that will never get ill. We’ll have no disease, there’ll be no death, no sorrow and so on but in this life no.

It’s not always God’s will for us to be healed. It’s a part of the curse that came from Adam and eventually all of us Here on this earth are going to die. It’s we’re all terminal and that’s because of sin so even if God did heal you You’d only live a few years longer and then you would die and if you hadn’t trusted the Lord Then you’d be in deep trouble you need to obviously trust the Lord to be able to go to heaven So being healed in this world is not really the the big answer the big answer is to trust Christ to receive the gift of eternal life.

And once you’re a believer, you have the promise of a brand new perfect body in heaven. But God does not promise healing here. And I think God can heal when it’s within His will to do so. I certainly pray for the sick and pray that they might recover, but not everyone does. And we know that in fact that the Bible says that you’re only going to get about three score in ten or seventy years, plus you might live a little longer, but not much longer.

Although I have an aunt, my dad’s sister is still alive in 103, and a clear mind and no pain in their body and doing well. So that’s exciting. But we’re not going to live too much longer than that. I don’t expect my aunt is going to live on forever in this body. She’s going to have her to get a brand new body one day. So that’s where I stand. We thank you, Matthew, for calling in. We’ve been there to offer a question.

And we invite you to call with another one if you’d like. Matthew in Lakeland, Florida, calls in with another offer a question. He says, I’d like to know if there’s such a thing as righteous anger. My wife says that it’s not biblical to be both righteous and angry at the same time. Well, Christ got angry and it was not a sin. But the Bible does tell us in Ephesians 4 that we’re to be angry and sin not. So anger is an emotion, but anger in itself is not necessarily wrong, but it can lead to wrong action.

So when you become angry, make sure you don’t sin as a result of your anger. You need to get it under control. I remember the night I got saved, my first emotion was anger because I’ve been raised in church for 18 years and never knew how to be saved. I was angry that nobody ever told me how to be saved. When I went back to my church to share with them what I thought, I discovered that I don’t think anybody my church, including the pastor was saved.

So my anger turned into compassion and I have tried ever since then to proclaim this message far and wide wherever I could. So I think anger itself is not wrong, but anger can lead to sin. The Bible tells us that Ephesians be angry but sin not. So make sure that you don’t allow your anger to carry you to do something wrong. Jonathan in Tampa calls in leaves us all for questions. Can I explain flippings to Paul where it says work out your own Salvation with fear and trembling Notice Jonathan.

It doesn’t say work for it says work out is talking about the Christian in the context They’re being a light a lamp into this world bringing the gospel to people that are in darkness and It tells us where to display the salvation that we have that is within us or to work it out or display it outward, the next verse for thirteen says it’s God who works in us so that this gospel that we have received can be displayed by us as we shine.

It says a little bit later in verse fourteen as lights in this dark world. So we as believers shine and verse fifteen tells us we do it by holding forth the word of life. When we hold out the word of God the people point out what it says, that’s the way we we work out the salvation we have as we display it for the world to see. Thank you, Jonathan, for that question. We have… Um Patty in Tampa, Florida, she says a co-worker says her church has guest speakers that are prophets.

Some are women. Is this a false church? I would assume so because that is not true. There are no prophets today. The gift of prophecy ceased according to 1 Corinthians 13, 8 at the completion of the New Testament at the end of the 1st century. And certainly women are not to be preachers. So I would say they’re violating the Bible heavily, if not being absolutely a false church. They sure are treading into bad doctrine. I’m Dr. Engsonscherman. It’s been fun being with you today.
