We have a particular CD that’s really good called How Permanent is Your Salvation. hear stories every day almost of people getting saved by listening to that CD. It really is powerful. We just finished teaching the gospel of John that is a very good series. 20 hours verse by verse on the Gospel of John is on CD and it’s also available on DVD. We also have the book of Revelation, the book of Daniel, the book of Hebrews, Romans, Jude, Matthew and so on and so on. A lot of the books of the Bible and we also have different series titles like Jesus is coming, in-time controversies, in-time prophecies, parables, the Holy Spirit, the Rapture and spirit world and many others I think you’ll find them very very interesting and will help you learn your Bible.

Usually if somebody listens to one of our CD sets they want to get more because it creates I think an appetite for the Bible as we take it verse by verse and explain even the difficult passages. You know as a new believer I bought commonaries And I bought them to help me with the difficult passages and what I didn’t realize was they skipped the difficult passages too. Sometimes I thought pages were missing in my commentary. I would look at the page number on the left and look at the page number on the right and because it didn’t discuss the passages I was looking for, I thought maybe pages were missing, but no, the pages weren’t missing.

The information was just missing. They didn’t comment on the difficult passages. Well, we don’t hedge from the difficult ones and we cover all these things in our series. Hebrews is one of the difficult books of the Bible. Most of the time if you go look for a commentary on Hebrews, you can’t find it. Nobody wants to write on it because they don’t want to take on the challenge of the difficult verses. We’ve got that on CD and we cover verse by verse and we take head on all the difficult and answer them for you.

And I think you’ll enjoy that book, that series on the Book of Hebrews, and that’s available. This is Colorado Prayers. You can also order online. You can also call and ask for a resource sheet to be sent that would give you all that information. Today’s our television day will be on at 6.30 tonight on World Harvest Television Channel 321. That’s if you have direct TV. Anywhere on the North American continent you can watch Bible Eye in the Evening at 6.30 Eastern.

30 Eastern time. And then again in the West Coast of Florida you can watch us on CPN. Last week they had their telephon and we were preempted. But this week we should be live. And that’s at 7 o’clock all over the West Coast of Florida. And we hope that you’ll tune that in at 7 tonight. You have your Bible there. If you do get it out we’ll try to answer some of your questions. But definitely the Word of God is the authority, not me.

A lot of times what happens is that people fall back on what they have been taught rather than what the Bible has to say. I want to turn to Matthew chapter 15. This is a very interesting verse. Matthew chapter 15. This will be in verse 6 of Matthew chapter 15. Here Jesus is the one speaking and he says, Thus have you made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition? Isn’t that interesting? Sometimes people’s traditions are in absolute conflict with the Bible, they contradict the Bible and you really have to choose between the Bible and your tradition.

When Jesus is pointing that out to the religious leaders of his time, he said, you have made the commandment of God of none effect, marked that none effect, none effect. That means no effect by your tradition. He says here, you hypocrites, well did Isaiah prophesy about you saying, verse 8 of Matthew 15, this people draw near unto me with their mouth and honoreth me with their lips. But their heart is far from me. Verse 9, In vain they do worship me.

Teaching for doctrines, catch this. Teaching for doctrines, the commandments of men. Amazing. How many churches are teaching the commandments of men and instead of the Lord of God? It says here, in verse 9, In vain they do worship me. Teaching for doctrines, the commandments of men. It’s very, very important that we recognize what the Bible has to say as versus tradition. And a lot of churches are primarily run on tradition. And they have the different things that they observe on a regular basis.

And there is no basis for them in Scripture. And I was amazed. You know, I was confirmed and baptized and homogenized and pasteurized and capsized and and Simonized and whatever my church could do, they did it to me. And you know, I never knew how to be good at heaven. I never heard about the wonderful gift of everlasting life. And you know when I heard it, it rang like music in my ears. I said, wow, this is so great.

Why hadn’t I ever heard about this before? I had never, never in my life ever heard that eternal life was the gift of God. Did you know in Romans 6 it says the gift of God as eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord? That’s right. Romans 623 says the gift of God. The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Well, that’s the best gift and most wonderful gift in all the world and that gift is often everybody.

You can receive that gift by simply trusting Jesus as your Savior. It’s paid for and the purchase price was paid by Jesus at the cross and therefore because it’s been purchased and paid for by Christ’s death, He can offer it to you in real time as a gift with no strings attached And then exciting, you know if salvation were not paid for you could not receive it in this lifetime But most people obviously don’t believe it’s paid for because Usually when you interview somebody who doesn’t know what’s going on and they might be very religious They always seem to say that they have to wait until after they die to find out whether they’re going to make it or not.

When you ask somebody, are you going to heaven when you die? They’ll say, well, I hope so. Or I think so. Or I’m working at it. And they imply that when they die, there’s going to be some kind of a scale or some kind of way of calculating whether you’ve got enough points to get in or not. And that is not difficult. Jesus paid it all. And so therefore, because it’s all paid for, he can offer you salvation as a gift.

You see, it’s not a gift if it’s not completely paid for. If you had to pay for part and Christ had to pay for part, that wouldn’t be a gift. And by the way, if you paid for any part, you’d have to go to hell. That is scary. That is really scary. Think about it. I love that him. Jesus paid it all to him, my oh. sin had left the crimson stain, but he washed it as white as snow.

Many, many churches have to sing that song differently if they’re going to be conforming to their church doctrine. Jesus paid only part. I’ll pay part myself. That’s really the theology of a lot of churches. Christ paid for part, the biggest part. You pay for part. And guess what? The Bible says in Romans 623, the wages of sin singular is death. In other words, if you paid for just one sin, you’d go to hell. That’s right. If you just paid for one lie, you would go to hell.

Revelation 21, 27 says there shall no wise enter into heaven anything that defile of, neither whatsoever work of the domination or make it a lie. A lie. A lie. One lie would be enough to send you to hell if you paid for it. Point, I thank God that Jesus paid for every lie, every sin I would ever commit in my entire life. I’m past, present, and future. And because he’s totally paid that sin that I can be absolutely assured of going to heaven right now.

It’s a gift. It’s paid for. It’s given to me at the moment of belief. The Bible says in John 647, he that believeth on me Jesus said, has, has. That’s a present tense verb and he says, if you believe on me, you have right now everlasting life. Let me ask you a very difficult question. If you possess everlasting life right now, If you have everlasting life right now, verse after verse after verse declares that. John 3 16 even says, whose whoever, believeth in Christ, should not perish but have, have, have, have, have, have.

H-A-V-E, President’s Verb, you have everlasting life. If you have everlasting life right now, what kind of life will you have tomorrow? I knew your little hesitant, but it’s everlasting life, that’s the correct answer. If you have everlasting life right now, what can I fulfill you up next week? Well it will be everlasting life. What about a year from now? Everlasting life. You’re right. You’re getting it, you’re catching on here. If you have everlasting life right now, what can I fulfill you have a million years from now?

The answer is everlasting life. If it’s everlasting, it’s everlasting. And if you have it now, you’ll possess it forever. How can it be lost if it’s everlasting? My goodness. I’m amazed at people because they go against what the scriptures teach by the traditions and doctrines of their church. Commandments of men show me in the Bible. Chapter in verse please. What does it say? It’s only temporary life. The Bible says it’s eternal life. It’s paid for. It’s received at the moment you believe and possess forever.

I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom. This is Bibleline Ranchers to get to the phone lines and we’d love to hear from you today. The phone number is 1-800-576-3771. Give us a call, would you? And we are right now going to go to Samantha. Samantha is in Tampa, Florida and welcome to Bibleline. You’re on the air. I’m a first time caller and I have a couple questions. I’d like to know why did Jesus cast out the people for different races and prejudices?

Well, I don’t know where he ever did that. Jesus invites everyone to be saved. You know, John 3 16, the words of Christ, he says, God’s the love of the world. That’s everyone. Every man, woman and child will ever be born of whatever race or color. and he says in that verse that he gave Christ to die for them that who’s so ever that’s anyone he didn’t exclude anyone that would believe on him would they would not perish but they’d have eternal life so no one is excluded at all I don’t not see where you’re coming from if you find me a verse I’d like to take a look at it but Christ never excluded anybody he invites everybody.

Okay basically I guess what I’m what I’m trying to ask is Moses went up the mountain for the Ten Commandments. And when he came down, what happened at that point? Well they have made a golden calf and they got naked and were dancing and committing a sexual acts openly in public and Moses threw the tablets down and he was very angry and God judged a lot of those people, they died on the spot. Okay, that’s the answer to one question.

The next question is, I’ve been told that Mark, John, and Psalms are the chapters to read, to get familiar with the Bible and to relate to God with my life. What is a place to start? Because I am a recovery addict. Well, the Gospel of John is a wonderful place to begin because it is such a straightforward, straight shooting presentation of Christ. And I would recommend you read the Gospel John about five times before you go anywhere else. Okay, thank you very much.

You’re very welcome. Thank you for calling Samantha calling in for the first time. And we now have Betty in Beverly Hills, Florida and Betty. Welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Yes, good morning brother, Lynch. Miss Betty. And in the beginning of your monologue, you mentioned about commentaries and how they skip the important places and so forth. I’ve had the same experiences. But one thing I would like, I wish you would draw our attention, the people’s attention to, is the fact that when you pinch and map you to Chapter 15, verses 8, 9, people drawing 9, with their mouth on me, with their lips service, but their heart is from me, they need to do the worship, me teaching for doctrines, the commandments of man.

I would like if you would make a point, I’ve mentioned the fact that this is in fact a quote from Isaiah 29, 13, and it pertained at that point in time to the Jewish people. And that that is one of the reasons why they as well as those just Gentiles of today, is that the New Testament is the work of their leadership, which is only honoring God to the and not really respect but could you please make a point of mentioning that this of course pertain to the jewish or as well and that’s where i why it was originally written in the visual to your attention okay but you’re absolutely right and of course and i say it was so incredible here is it goes on in the very next person says i will proceed to do a marvelous work among his people that work was the work that was performed at calvary

and obviously the Jewish people for the most part rejected the work that was done at Calvary, which is the full payment for your sin and mine that was accomplished by Christ’s death near the cross. And Acts refers to that work and how it was predicted in the Old Testament in this place and in numerous others and how that they would miss this marvelous work. was God in flesh, dying on the cross of Calvary, paying for our sins in full by his death and shed blood, and then coming back from the dead, To demonstrate that he was indeed that Messiah and that he’d fully accomplished that payment for our sin.

But you know, nearly every church has doctrines and teachings that are merely traditions and are not scriptural. And they are wrong. Look at how many churches, for example, teach infant baptism. There is no such thing in the scripture. No such thing in the scripture, the Roman Catholic Church practices that, The Methodist Church practices that, the Lutheran Church practices that, the Presbyterian Church practices that, the Reform churches practice that, and we could go on and on. And you ask chapter and verse please, they can’t produce them.

This is all tradition. And these are commandments of men, and they’re absolutely wrong. There’s no doubt about it. And that’s just one minor example because that’s obviously not as major as some of the other ones that are traditions within the church that are totally wrong. The teaching of purgatory, that is obviously false. There is no purgatory in anybody’s Bible whatsoever today and so on and so on. But you’re right, Israel was the one that Christ was addressing there in particular and he goes back to this marvelous passage in Isaiah to draw from and there in the very next verse in verse 14 of Isaiah 29.

It talks about God performing this incredible work, a work that they would not believe, a work where your sins and my sins would be paid for by Christ death at Calvary. Thank you, Betty. We appreciate that call and we’re now going to go to Deborah or Delora, excuse me, Delora in Palm, Florida. Delora, welcome to my blood. You’re on the air. Hello. Hi there. You’re on the air. I can’t understand you. You are on the radio program live right now, Dora.

Don’t listen to the radio because that will certainly confuse you. Okay, I’m going outside. Good. Yeah, when you listen to the radio, there’s a delay and you really get your head mixed up and you can’t follow what we’re saying. So Dora, glad you called in from Palm, Florida. No, it’s not bomb. It’s a bomb. Oh, BALM. Okay, we got the wrong. Okay. Florida. Okay, what can we do for you? Well, I have a question. In the, you know, we’re talking about the Ten Commandments and the subject was brought up of the black.

And I said that God made four colors. He made red, white, red, yellow, black, and white. And He said they are precious in his sight. We would like to know where this came from. Well, obviously, again, we said in John’s recent theme for God’s Soul of the World, and where did the skin colors come from? We really don’t know. It’s, I believe, probably took place at the Tower of Babel in the Old Testament in Genesis chapter 11. When God confused the languages, he probably also changed the skin colors, but we don’t know.

You try to look at the encyclopedia and see what men are science believe. They believe it’s basically based on where you live. But the people toward the equators are darker skinned and those that are more toward the northern polar regions or lighter skin and from living there for a long period of time they believe that they have adapted in that way. I don’t think anybody really knows for sure. Those are all guesses. So we have to wait on that to have to find out.

I do know when I was being brought up in the Baptist Church, red and yellow, black and white, we are all precious in his sight. Right, that’s a course. And it certainly tells the truth about God loving every one of us. We’re all related back to Adam. And of course, we’re all related back to Noah, because when God destroyed everybody on the earth except the eight in the ark, we’re all related to Noah. And then down through his three sons, and there was, we’re all related.

I’m related to you, Delore. Understand, you know, he made the four races. Why is it that everybody seems to compete against the other when, you know, when we all know that we’re all precious in his sight? Because he’ll read the Bible anymore and obviously the human nature is wicked. Jeremiah 17, 9 says the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked and That’s the problem. And obviously, We have one murderous group, the Muslims who want to kill everybody.

They want to kill us. There are about 350 million radical Muslims who are dead set on killing you and me because we are not Muslim. that accreditation. Yes, I know that. I just think we’re just little questions that both of us were talking about and it was being brought up about the Ten Commandments and I said, well, if everyone followed the Ten Commandments, we would all be okay. You sure are right. We’re not going to do that. I mean, there’s going to be mistakes made.

Well, Dora, I sure agree with you and thank you so much for calling and I’m glad you all or listening and tuning into the Bibleline down there in Balm, B-A-L-M, Florida. And we appreciate that. Got lots of calls. We’re going to go ahead and try to get them answered.

And also, all fairs if we can get to those. We have David in Richmond, Virginia. And David, welcome to Bibleline your on the air. Hello, how you doing there today? Good. Uh, being saved. I’ve been basically an addict most of my life in a center in a lot of ways. And here recently I’d prayed and you know, I’m still tempted by a lot of sin that has been in my life for a long time. Looking at other women and things like that, the natural temptation that a lot of men have.

Well, first of all, salvation is a gift and it’s not based upon you changing anything. And this is, of course, some people have been taught wrong so long. They probably say, I can’t accept what he’s saying there. But salvation is a gift. It’s been purchased by God and offered you completely free. And we’re not saved by asking. I heard you mention asking God to save me. We’re saved by trusting. When you trust in the finished work of Christ, God saves you.

The wrong use of repent. The Greek word means to change your mind. It does not mean to turn from sin. And I noticed that you had to stop or turn from sin and as a part of salvation, that’s not true either. You simply trust Christ and you become saved. Then as you grow as a Christian, you’ll find the power of the Holy Spirit in your life as a believer will enable you to have victory over sin in your life.

But you’ll always have a sin nature and there always be temptation facing you throughout your life and you need to just every day yield yourself to obey the Lord and be obedient to Him. And as you get busy for God, you’ll find that your flesh will not be as strong or not be in control of your life. But basically the key to the Christian life is to walk in obedience to the Lord and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

So get busy for God. But salvation is a gift and there is a written guarantee. I hope David you will write it down. 1 John 5, 13. It says there are these things have been written unto you, David. If you have believed on the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior that you may know K-N-O-W that you have H-A-V-E eternal life. So you can know you have it. You don’t have to wait to get it someday and you’re never going to lose it.

He’s never going to cast you out and lose you. You’re saved forever. Now if you are delinquent as a believer, God will discipline you and He might even take you home and have it early, but He’ll never cast you out or lose you. The Bible is very clear that the Christian life has to do with rewards and blessings. And as you yield yourself to obey the Lord after you are saved, blessings and rewards will come about as a result.

But if you are delinquent, God will discipline you and you will suffer loss of reward in heaven for not having lived for Christ. But your salvation is not something that you earn or deserve or can purchase or gain or keep or any of those things because it’s all done by Christ. Does that help a little bit? Yes, so I don’t have to be concerned about sin. No, you don’t, but you need to be concerned about sin in your life because that’s where if you want God’s blessing and you want to experience the joy of the Christian life and have God’s approval and rewards upon your life and blessings, it comes by serving him.

You get in your Bible every day and you need to find a good church if you can find one or difficult to find where the Bible is taught clearly and get involved. Okay David and thank you for calling. We now have Janice in Tampa Florida. Janice, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Hello Janice. Hello Janice. I don’t know what happened to Janice. I’m going to get us the answer there. We lost Janice. We now have Frank in Sarasota, Florida.

Frank, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Hello Frank. I’m losing everybody here. We’re going to go to John in Richmond, Virginia. John, you’re on the air. Yes. Okay, you’re on the air, John. Yes, I’m the lady. I lived in a motel in this lady. She was calling in, you know, like this man just talked about how she was trying to live and explain it to her. I’m not the you talk the heart because of it was a man told me talk that later real good.

I like the way The man who was given to the other churches, he was going to send it to you. Remember that? Yeah, I remember talking to that gentleman. I do. Yeah, he talked like he didn’t. The audience told the way you talked to that lady and said that he, thank the people needed to send you the money and it’s a place to send it to these other churches. So what I was concerned with me, when you talked to the lady, you didn’t.

You didn’t tell the lady out. What Jesus told Nick, the demons and what, what, uh, Peter told her, the church with the Pentecost. You didn’t tell her that. You just told her the other things, but you didn’t tell her how to be saved. I don’t think that nothing that you told her that was gonna help her so. Well, you missed part of that conversation because I had talked to her on the radio twice earlier over the past several weeks and I spoke to her over an hour off air on last Friday.

And I think as a result of that conversation, just the two of us off air, she got saved. So I did explain all that and you weren’t listing in on that conversation because it was only the two of us. So John, she heard what Nicodemus heard, and that is, that whosoever believeth in Christ should not perish but have everlasting life. And that Christ promised in John 637 that he would never cast her out. John 637, and he promised in John 639 that he would never lose her, and that she was saved with eternal life at the moment she believed or trusted Christ.

And so she got a lot of information that yesterday she was referring to, but you did not hear in yesterday’s show. So thank you for calling and I hope you go back on the Internet and catch those past programs. You’ll see a lot of stuff that we talked about and earlier programs. Thank you so much and Janice, welcome to Bibleline You Are On The Air. Hi, yes. I’m trying to find out some information here. Yesterday I was speaking with someone, he’s not a Christian, and I couldn’t answer some of his question.

And one of the questions he was asking me was which religion was first? I thought what Christianity, he said, no, there was three first religions and he said Christianity may be around about the third one. And the other question, because I’m gonna hang up and listen to you on the radar, Is there many Jews and if there are many Jews meaning that there are Jews, German Jews from Israel? I think that’s the main question so far, which, and also to one other question.

If when you speak of why does it was saying why does God, God so love us, why do we suffer so much? What is it he’s trying to teach us to suffer so much? Couldn’t be a God about the different way than teaching us in so much, rather than punishing us to learn. Thank you. Okay. Well, thank you. That’s a lot of questions. First of all Christianity Existed prior to the earth being created if you read John’s gospel. That’s why it’s such a wonderful gospel It says in John 1 1 in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God That is the second member of the Godhead the eternal Son of God the Lord Jesus Christ And in John 1 14 it says the word was made flesh and dwelt among us that was Bethlehem But Jesus existed before the earth began.

And we find that in the Old Testament, the first promise of Him coming as a Savior is in Genesis 3.15. We find that everybody who’s ever been saved, old and New Testament people alike were saved by faith in Christ. Jesus appeared to Abraham and Abraham believed on Christ and the Bible tells us in Galatians 3 8 that the Scriptures were seeing that God would justify the nations through faith preached before the Gospel unto Abraham. Abraham heard the Gospel, believed the Gospel, and was saved by trusting Christ as his Savior.

So Christianity has existed before the earth began because Christ is the eternal second member of the Godhead who has been around since eternity and was already existent in the beginning when God created the universe. And of course you took on human flesh at Bethlehem and went to the cross and died to pay for your sins of mind. When we trust Him as Savior, we become saved and we can become saved forever. God loved everyone. And that’s why Christ died for everyone.

So it’s Definitely for sure. Why do we suffer? That’s because of man’s sin. When Adam sinned, we find the curse of God placed upon the earth and upon sin as the consequences of it are around us every day. And of course, hopefully the consequences will bring us to search for God and find a solution. And the answer is of course Christ. We must trust Christ in order to be saved. And when we trust him, we become eternally safe. But suffering and these things are the result of our sin.

And I’m sure to thank you for calling in. I hope I got all of your questions answered there. We now have Frank down in Sarasota 4. Frank, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Good. We spoke several times before. several times before Dr. Hank, I look for opportunities every day to witness. We pray for opportunities because it’s so important and I want to thank you again for your ministry. But I ran across a situation where it’s actually another believer and I just like to ask one other one why it’s true and why it’s a word of God.

But the question came up in this debate with an atheist. If you have a good loving just God and man is thinking you can make an argument that man’s only been around for six hours to make the argument that well two thousand that everybody’s condemned to go to hell because we’re all falling and without the blood of christ how would you respond to that well the blood of christ not only pay for the sins of those that would be born uh…

after christ died but also for those who died before that i love x ten forty three peters says there that uh… to jesus or you sure from the Hebrew Yeshua in English is Jesus. To Yeshua give all the prophets witness, none of the prophets, and God had prophets around from the very beginning, to all the prophets God gave witness that through the name of Yeshua or Jesus, that whosoever would believe in Him should receive the remission of your sins.

So Peter really plainly lets us know that everybody who’s ever been saved has been saved the same way. that’s by the blood of Christ and they of course look forward to the death of Christ at Calvary as we look back to that event. And so nobody’s ever been saved in a different way. And so the people in the Old Testament push it back as far as you want would have been saved by the blood of Christ. They believed the message that God gave through his prophets and God of course even shared that message with Adam and Eve.

You know, when Adam and Eve sinned, they, Adam went out and collected some fig leaves, and Mrs. Eve got the sewing machine out, and they sewed some fig leaves, and that was a way that they attempted to deal with their sin and cover it. But obviously that was not acceptable before God. When Adam and Eve sinned, Adam and Eve sinned, Adam went out and collected some fig leaves, We find there that as a result God clothed them with the coats of skins of animals.

And that’s a beautiful picture of the fact that an innocent animal had to be slain, his blood had to be shed, and that the animal’s skin became the covering. And it’s a picture of Christ who was innocent or sinless and how he died, his blood was shed, and how that his righteousness becomes the covering of the believer that makes us eligible to enter heaven. And so from the very get-go in the Bible, and if he wants to push Adam back further than 6,000, it wouldn’t really matter.

Salvation has always been by the blood. It’s always been by substitutionary sacrifice, and it’s always been by faith, interesting in that sacrifice as the means of their salvation. And so the Bible is consistent all the way through, and he is a just and loving God. And Christ died for, according to John 3 16, the whole world. It’s a great explanation, I appreciate it. Thank you and thank you for calling in the Bibleline today. We have an offer, Ishmael in Tampa, Florida saying Mark 16.

Verse 17 and 18, does this message pertain to today? And the answer is no. It’s talking there about some of the miracle gifts that were spectacular in nature that were temporary and have ceased. There are five mentioned there in this chapter in Mark. And people today like to pick and choose, and they usually pick out of the five that pick tongues, but they don’t pick the others. If you read the list here, in Mark 16 verse 17 and 18 it talks about here, they shall take up serpents.

Not too many are doing that and I don’t think I’d be doing it either. Also it says if they drink any deadly thing it shall not hurt them. I don’t see people drinking an arsenic cocktail, pouring poison in their iced tea. Obviously these gifts were temporary in nature. They really did happen. You know, Paul, when he was shipwrecked, when he was gathering wood and putting it in the fire to give themselves warm, when they’re on the shore of that island, it says a viper, leaped out of the fire, and bit him on the arm.

And everybody expected that he would drop dead within seconds. And he just shook the snake back into the fire. He lived. That was one of those miracle gifts of the early days, but they were temporary in nature. I don’t think you’d be too smart to try that today, but I believe all five of those gifts are the spectacular nature and all five have ceased. You’ll notice down in verse 20 of Mark 16 it says that these as they went forth preaching everywhere, the The Lord confirmed their preaching with those signs that followed.

Those are the five, and I don’t see them today. I believe as Corinthians tells us, they were tempering nature and would cease when the New Testament record was completed. Ishmael, I hope that helps. No, I do not believe they pertain to today. So we have here several other questions. We have Saul calling in off here and he asks about Hebrews 10, 16. Let me turn there and take a look and see what it says. But in Hebrews 10 in verse 16 it says, this is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, say of the Lord.

the covenant is one promise back in Jeremiah 31, which is the covenant that God would make with Israel that really is talking about the second coming of Christ. But because the Jewish people pretty much rejected Christ, the covenant was put into effect, but us Gentiles have been enjoying it now for the past 2000 years. that is Christ died to pay for our sins and he made a covenant to forgive us. As it says in verse 17, there are sins and iniquities, well, I forgive and forget basically as a result of the death of Christ.

This is the new covenant and it was a promise in the Old Testament. People were saved by promise. God promised he would save those that would believe on Christ, but it became a covenant when Christ died and was ratified by Christ shed blood. Well, I hope that helps and we appreciate that. Mike in Tampa Fort says, since it was only Noah and his family, where do all the races and languages come from? Well, they came right from Noah. We’re all related back to Noah.

It was at the Tower of Babel hundreds of years after the front of Noah that God changed the languages. doesn’t say he changed his skin colors, but I believe it probably happened then. So Lamar in Tampa, Florida calls in and says, what is spiritual Babylon? And that is, of course, the religious system that came from ancient Babylon, and that was all the way back to Genesis 10. It’s the worship of a mother and her son. That system has come down to this very day and in the fourth century when Constantine declared the world to be Christian, this worship of a mother and her son continued and the names changed.

So that was the worship of Mary. And Jesus. And so, wherever Mary is exalted and is prayed to and adored, and Jesus is somewhat silent and Mary becomes the major figure, that is spiritual Babylon. Watch out for it because it will bite you and sting you. The Bible warns about it being a false religious system and it would be the system that would be worldwide during the tribulation period. Tribulation period after the Rapture. Boy, the time is going so quickly.
