Welcome to you folks down in Miami that are listening and I had a fellow attend the service yesterday that was in Miami during the week and he said you’re booming out loud and clear in Miami and so that’s exciting and we hope that you’re telling your friends down in the Miami area about coming.

We’re going to have a special this week and it’s going to be for evangelizing people here at Christmas which is great. We have the CD which is so powerful how to lead a soul to Christ. It’s called how permanent is your salvation. This CD really works. People get saved generally if they will listen to it all the way through. We are going to give in this special 20 how permanent is your salvation CD’s for you to give out and distribute with your gifts or whatever.

We’re going to give you 50. Am I going to Heaven tracks? This is a wonderful track that has the scriptures and everything there that will lead a person to Christ. Plus the handbook on Haudelius old Christ, the handbook of personal evangelism, and we’ll give you that for a gift of $100 to help Bibleline. $100 will give you the 20 CDs, how permanent is your salvation? 50 of the am I going to heaven tracks? And one of the handbook of a personal evangelism textbooks.

That is really a wonderful bargain. So for $100 you get it all, we hope that you’ll take advantage. We also have in our resource center now several books that are exciting. We have the books by Clarence Larkin. His book called Dispensational Truth is one of my favorites. Written about a hundred years ago, he has 160 charts in that book with chapters that explain them. And what is so amazing? It’s though it were drawn yesterday. These charts show Israel returning back to the land and becoming a nation again.

And these charts were drawn way back in 1914, 1516, a hundred years ago, what a man to believe the Word of God that it would come to pass literally. It would actually take place just like the Bible said and the charts are excellent. Well, you might want to get in on getting that particular book for a gift of $50. You can have this wonderful book and it’s huge. It’s very large because of the charts. And you’ll find that as a wonderful Christmas present, a wonderful book, to me, it really gave me a visual of my Bible.

It’s like a crossword puzzle. You know if you have the picture that’s on the box, of the picture puzzle, you’ll find that you know there’s going to be a lake on the left-hand side, a mountain on the right-hand side, and a road on the bottom of the picture and so on. So at least you get an idea of what you’re looking at and what you’re trying to put together. And it really helps you. And it’s like that. Charts will show you how everything fits together like a wonderful puzzle in the Bible and gives you a visual on that We’re gonna be talking about the Bible for a little bit And then we’re gonna take our callers and you’re welcome to call us today Monday here at Bible and at 1-800-576-3771 1-800-576-3771 this coming Sunday will be our third Sunday We’re going to have our Christmas celebration service at 10.30 in the morning and we’ll have a wonderful dinner following if you live at any distance

you want to drive and join us we would love to have you come for that morning service and for the Dinner that will follow we’re also going to have a Christmas Eve service Guess when on Christmas Eve and if you’re in driving distance, you’re welcome to come It will begin at 10 o’clock at night. We’ll have a lot of singing, we’ll have a message, we’ll have a candle lighting ceremony as we bring in the birth of Christ as we celebrate that here just coming up rather quickly now.

The Bible is an amazing book and it’s interesting that none of the four gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke or John mentioned the date or the day or the month or the year in which Jesus was born. But we are told exactly when Jesus would be crucified. He was crucified on the preparation day or that is the day before the Passover. The Passover always occurred on the 14th day of the month of the Jewish calendar and Remember that the four gospels tell us in the greatest detail where Jesus was born, where he lived, what he did.

They also tell us in great detail how and when he died, but they are completely silent as to the date of his birth. Did they forget? Or did they leave it out on purpose? Could it be that God knew that man would make more out of the birth of Christ than his death? certainly is worth thinking about. Did you know that we have no record of the early Christians celebrating the birth of Christ? If you read the New Testament, you will find it to be silent as to the early Christians celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.

In fact, it was not until the fourth century that Christmas began to be celebrated by Christians. In AD 321 Constantine declared the world to be Christian. Many of the customs of paganism continued and adapted themselves to Christianity. The celebration of Christmas is just one of those pagan observances. Bail worship included the celebration of Bail’s birthday at the Winter Solstice, or December 25. Look at how Jeremiah describes the observance of Bail’s birthday in the Old Testament in Jeremiah Chapter 10.

I am going to quote, it says in Jeremiah, Chapter 10, hear ye the word which the Lord speaketh unto you, O house of Israel. Thus say of the Lord, learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven. For the heathen, or the nations, are dismayed at them. For the customs of the people are vain. For one kind of a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workmen with the axe and then they deck it with silver and with gold and they fast it with nails and with hammers then it moved not.

Have you ever heard of such a practice? The practice of cutting down a tree out of the forest, bringing it home, nailing it down, then decorating it with silver and gold. Well, now you know the origin of the Christmas tree. Now, I’m not saying that we should toss our trees out, but it is interesting that the origin of the tree was really pagan. It’s interesting that Bales’ birthday. He was a great man. supposedly the life giver, the counterfeit of Christ.

And so in the winter time when most trees had shed their leaves, they would pick an evergreen tree, one that didn’t shed its leaves, and use that to celebrate the life-giving qualities of Baal. That’s really where it all began. But you know, if you talk about the tree, I think we need to talk about the one that the biblical perspective gives us, and that is of the tree of Calvary. The Bible tells us about two trees that tell the complete story of salvation.

The first tree is found in the Garden of Eden. The second tree is found on the hill of Talvary. The first tree brought about sin and death as a result of partaking of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The second tree upon which Jesus died brings eternal life to all those who partake of it. So we find here the Bible has an amazing reference here to trees. I think if you’re going to use the tree, point out to children especially that the gifts under the tree are not what Christmas is all about.

That it’s the gift that was nailed to the tree that is significant. Jesus Christ died by being nailed to the tree of Calvary. The Bible actually uses that term that he was nailed to the tree. He was crucified on a tree that brought about eternal life for all those that we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. You know for myself I celebrated 18 years of Christmases before I ever discovered the gift of Christmas. You know the gift of God according to the Bible is eternal life.

Romans 623 says, The wages of sin is death. That’s the bad news. But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord. And for 18 years I was looking under the tree for gifts that had my name on them. And little did I realize that I totally missed the meaning of Christmas. That the real gift of Christmas was God so loving the world that he gave his only begun son, that whosoever, believeth in him, should not perish but have everlasting life.

And I was eighteen out of high school, on my way off to college, when I was intercepted with the truth. Invited to a Bible study by my sister, younger than I, and I went just to get her off my back. But when I got there, I heard the most wonderful story I had ever heard. I had never in all the days of my church. Now listen, I was confirmed, I was baptized, homogenized, pasteurized, capsized, and you name it, I went through it, but I was never saved.

Nobody ever made it clear to me. Yes I had heard that Christ died, yes I heard that he died to pay for the sins of the wall, yes I heard that he was buried, yes I heard that he was resurrected from the dead and I didn’t doubt any of those things. But nobody ever told me that by trusting him and him alone, that is Jesus Christ that I would be saved. That God would give me His wonderful gift, the gift of everlasting life.

It tells us in 2 Corinthians 9-15, thanks be unto God for His unspeakable gift, the gift of God is eternal life, my friend. And it says it very plainly in Romans 6-23, the gift of God is eternal life. The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. And it wasn’t until that evening when I was eighteen years of age that I heard about the gift of God. In fact, I remember the word gift just jumping out of the page at me.

I’d never seen that before. Nobody ever told me salvation was a gift. I was always taught on my church that I had to work my way to heaven. It was a big scale. It would one day be brought out after we were all dead and had stood before the Lord. He would read out of a big book all the good works that we had done, the bad works, angels would assist, they would lay weights on the scale, weights representing the good works we did, weights representing the bad works that we did, and we’d hope the scale would go in the right direction and tip in our favor so that we’d be able to go to heaven.

I was hoping I could somehow have enough good works to cancel out my bad works and get me into heaven. Nothing could be further from the truth. The Bible teaches nothing about works being a part of salvation. In fact, the Bible says in Ephesians 2-9, salvation is not of works. It’s the gift of God. It’s not of yourself. It is not of works. Let’s any mention both Ephesians 2-9. It says their salvation is the gift of God. Wow, for the first time in my life I heard the wonderful story of the gift of God being eternal life and I understood now the meaning of Christmas and that the real gift of Christmas is Christ himself, dying on the cross, paying for your sins.

And you can receive that gift the moment you trust Christ is your Savior. By the way, this gift is not available at the local mall. You can’t buy it. It’s not on eBay. We don’t deserve it. You can’t earn it. The only way to receive this gift is through Jesus Christ, our Lord. It says in Romans 623, the gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ. It’s only received by trusting Christ as the one who died for you.

So you can’t get this over the internet. You can’t get this on eBay. You can’t get it in a local mall. There is no gift shop that is dispensing eternal life. God Himself dispenses eternal life and it says in John 1 12 to as many as received Him Christ. To them God gave authority for you to become a child and God’s family to be born again and receive the wonderful gift of everlasting life. I hope you have received that gift.

If you haven’t, then I don’t know how old you are, but you’ve missed the true meaning of Christmas because you’ve gone all these years without the gift that God offers, and He offers it all year long. Who’s whoever that would believe in Christ would not perish but have everlasting life? I’m Dr. Engleinschren. This is my line, and we are going to go to the phone lines if you’d like to call us. The number is 1-800-576-3771. It’s 1-800-576-3771. We’d love to have you call it.

It’s a glossy, beautiful track that leads people to Christ. It really works. And we have the handbook of Personal Evangelism, all of that together for a gift of $100 the Bible and we’ll ship that out to you. We’re going to go to Brenda in need in Florida and Brenda welcome to Bibleline you’re on here.

Brenda? Yeah I’m here. Okay you’re on here. Thank you. Turn your radio down and what’s your question today? Good morning. Thank you for taking my I would like to have a more grips and idea of presidential candidate Paul Romney on his personal relationship with Jesus Christ. And I’ll get off the line. I don’t know. So really whether anybody has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, let me just explain that to be related to Christ you have to be born again.

And that requires you accepting Christ as God who came and took on human flesh. And the moment you trust Him you become born again and therefore you become related to God as his son or daughter and God becomes your father for the first time. If you pray our Father which art in heaven and you reject Christ, then God is not your father and you are not his son or daughter. And if you He is a child of God and you have not trusted Christ as Savior.

You are not a child of God. God is your creator. You are his creation. But you do not become a child of God until you trust Jesus Christ as Savior. And you really have to ask several really good questions. Unless you talk to a person individually, I don’t even know if you really get a good answer because most people in the United States would claim to be a Christian. And if you ask them, are you a Christian? you a Christian and they’ll say, of course I am.

I was born in America, wasn’t I? Well, that doesn’t make any more sense than to say if you were born in a garage that you would be an automobile. You really, really have to recognize that being born in this country doesn’t make you a Christian, but you do have to believe that Jesus died, shed his blood, was buried, rose again from the dead. And when you trust him as your only hope of heaven, believing that he saves you eternally, at the moment you trust him that you can never be lost, you’re safe forever.

I doubt that you’re saved because that’s the only way you can be saved. And again, John 3 16 reduces it to such a simple form. For God so loved the world, that’s everybody in the human race that he gave his only begotten son, that’s Jesus Christ, that whosoever believeth or trusted in Christ should not perish but have everlasting life. Thank you for that call and I don’t know if that helped, but I hope but you need to really, really maybe do some real searching to see good definitive statements as to somebody’s personal belief in Christ to see whether they’re saved or not.

If you’d like to call in the numbers 1-800-576-3771, 1-800-576-3771. We have in Jonathan here in Tampa, Florida, leaves this offer question. Why does Jesus say in 19-17, if you will enter into, I’m hard to read this question here, if you will enter, and I lost it here, if you will enter into life, keep the commandments. This seems to contradict chapter 16. Good question. not Jonathan, the answer is the commandments, demand the righteousness that’s required in our heaven. You’d have to be as righteous as God or as perfect as God, and of course we cannot possibly ever attain that righteousness by our works or by our needs.

The point was Christ was trying to get this young man to admit that he was a sinner in need of a Savior. his disciples said, wow, if this be the case, who then will be able to enter heaven? Jesus said, with men, this is impossible. With men, nobody can ever keep commandments. Nobody has ever kept commandments. Jesus said in John 719, Moses gave you the commandments, but none of you have kept them. Nobody has ever kept them. Everybody has sinned, and has come short of the glory of God.

But the righteousness of God is offered completely free to those that put their trust in Christ. And when you trust Christ, your sins that were paid for at the cross are then from that moment on the rare righteousness of Christ is credited to your account because he’s already paid your sin at the cross. So there’s no contradiction, but Christ is using the law in the way it was intended to be used. That is to bring a person to a saving knowledge of Christ, to bring them to a recognition that they needed to trust Christ.

We have Donna in Flint, Michigan, and she leaves us off her question. How would the witch of Indoor be able to contact Samuel in paradise? Isn’t there a barrier? Why would God allow her to do so if she is a witch? Well, the answer is that we find that God wanted Samuel to be able to tell Saul what was going to happen the next day. This is the one rare exception where somebody from the dead is actually allowed to come back and to contact the living.

And Saul is told he’s going to lose the battle and he’s going to die the next day. Thank you all you that are listening down in Miami and we’re going to have to say goodbye to you because we are going to be cut off the air down in Miami because this is the time when we go off. But we’ll be, of course, back again tomorrow for you. But if you go on the internet, you can catch the full program, and I hope you’ll do that at BibleLineMinistries.org or .com.

In any case, I hope that answered that about the Witch of Indoor. That is the one rare exception where somebody comes back from the dead to speak to the living. and Samuel the Prophet tells Saul that he was going to lose the battle with the Philistines and that he and his two sons would join him. The next day that tells us that Saul was saved. The fundamental here Bibleline, 1-800-576-3771, and I hope you’ll give us a call and we’ll take your question.

Joyce in Charlottesville, New York, leaves this offer a question. She says, the Pharisees, this generation and next generation, what does this mean? And I’m not too sure to what verse you’re referring to, Joyce. But in Matthew 23, Jesus spoke about a judgment coming upon that generation. And that was, of course, the generation rejected Christ. And that’s exactly what happened. The Romans came and took away their country, and their city of Jerusalem was destroyed, and the temple was destroyed and Christ predicted that the stone would be not standing upon another where the ancient temple stood and that’s exactly what happened in AB 70.

So there was a judgment but that is not through with the Israel, the Jewish people. They’re right now back in the land after 2000 years of being dispersed and I believe in anticipation of his soon return. Joyce, if that isn’t the verse, I just don’t have a verse reference, you didn’t give one So I’m not too sure that we’re talking about the same passage. We’re going to have to take a break here and come back and do a second half hour of Bible and again we want you to go to Israel.

All this stuff is on the internet. You can check it out but call our 800 number. We can help you with any question you might have and we hope you’ll take advantage of some of our Christmas specials here. So keep your radio tuned right where it is. We’ll come right back in a few moments and do the second half hour of Bible and God bless and stay right here. I’ll be right back. Don’t go away. Bibleline will be back in a moment.

Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Well, I’m Dr. Ingham’s Linz Sherman. It’s exciting to be with you here on Monday as we’re coming to you live and Christmas is coming right around the corner. And I hope that you will have a wonderful Christmas holiday. And this is a great time to lead people to Christ. And as we were thinking about that, we thought we’ll come up with a Christmas special that might help you. We have assembled twenty of the how permanent is your salvation, which we have found that if a person listens to that all the way through, there’s a great chance that they would come to know Christ.

We’ve seen this over and over again and we have so many people tell us about loved ones and friends that have gotten saved by listening to that particular CD. We also have a wonderful track called, Am I Going to Heaven? And we’re going to give you 20 of the how permanent is your salvation? And then 50 of our best track, Am I Going to Heaven? And then the handbook on evangelism called the handbook to personal evangelism, and that’s That’s a $120 value for a gift of 100 and that will help Bibleline but also give you an opportunity to evangelize here over the Christmas holidays.

We also have the Zondervin pictorial Bible in Cyclopedia, not dictionary, in Cyclopedia. And that is a wonderful, wonderful 18 pounds of books to put on your shelf for a gift of 110. That retails for $200 by the way. Also, don’t forget we’re leaving for Israel. I want you to go February 25th, Monday, coming back March 7th of Friday. And 12 full days in Israel, we’re flying with El Al, the Israeli Airlines, the safest airlines on the planet. And we hope that you’ll get that brochure, have us either mail it to you or look at the full brochure by going to our website and clicking on Bibleline news.

Also, we want you to certainly take a look at our website and look at some of our worship service messages. The sermons are there for the past year. We also have the online bookstore right there on the Internet. You can take a look at what we have there on the online bookstore. And of course, Bibleline is listener supported and we could certainly use your prayer and your gifts to Bibleline. If you haven’t given a gift to the Lord for Christmas, maybe you could choose to give a gift to Bibleline and help us out and at the same time be giving to the Lord Jesus Christ at this season at His birth.

We’re going to rejoin stations if it doesn’t break. We’re going to come back and do a second and a half hour of Bibleline. So keep your radio tuned right where it is and we’ll be right back in just a moment. Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. The full brochure and the full itinerary is sitting there on our website.

Just go to BibleLineMinistries.org. Click if you would on Bibleline News and everything is there for you to take a look at. We’re going to go to the phone lines. We have Claude down in Hylia, Florida, in South Florida and Claude, welcome to Bible on You Are On The Air. Good morning, sir. Good morning. Yeah, I have a question about the book of Leviticus. I’m reading through it right now. It’s pretty tough.

As I understand it, back in the Old Testament times, there was no forgiveness unless the animals were sacrificed and blood was shed. But if I understood it correctly, God also accepted food offerings for sin. Am I right in thinking of that and God also accepted food offerings? Well the answer is that’s not true. In Hebrews 922 it says without the shedding of blood there is no remission for sin. So that makes it pretty plain that you have to have a blood sacrifice for sin to be forgiven.

But again we’re not talking about our salvation here being forgiven by an animal sacrifice. If you read Hebrew chapter 10 which is a wonderful chapter to go to, it says in verse 4, it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sin. In other words, it’s impossible. So all of that was a picture of what God would do through Jesus Christ. And when Old Testament sacrifices were offered of the blood, they were basically a picture and a reminder of what Christ would do when He came as the Lamb of God that would be slain to pay for the sins of the world.

and Abel offered up his lamb way back there in the earliest pages of Genesis. The Bible says when God received that offering, it was God declaring that Abel was already a saved man, that he was righteous, and that his testimony of his faith in Christ was reflected by his giving that animal sacrifice. And he was never saved by giving the animal sacrifice nor was anyone else. Only the blood of Christ could take away or sin. So all of that were pictures and the Bible tells us that these observances, the Sabbath and all the other holy days and the sacrifices that they offered were all forecasting what Christ would do as he came and really fulfilled the Passover lamp sacrifice as he became our our past over, his blood was shed.

And when we trust Christ as our Savior, when God comes in judgment one day, He passes over every one of us that have believed on Christ’s Savior in judgment. And we’re spared. We are obviously eligible to enter heaven because of what Christ did. These others were sometimes for purifications and ways of expressing that you wanted to be able to fellowship with the Lord and have communion with Him. I think that’s what some of these other sacrifices really were pictured of.

Thank you for calling. That was clawed down in hialea florida we have that you know in spring hill for the that you welcome the bible in your own ear perio down that you and that you’re up on the air how good morning dr uh… yet just so i want to tell my question on a hang up with your response interview on a b c a l of what is with uh… president or to be bush and he was asked if he believed that uh…

muslims and christians worship the same god and his response was i think we do now my question is uh… first john two to or two twenty two excuse me says who is a liar but he that denied that jesus is the christ he is anti-christ that denied the father and the son muzlams and in the crayon specifically states that allah has no son state that jesus was taken off the cross and somebody else’s substitute place. I’m just wondering if someone who is truly been baptized with the Holy Ghost could be able to say that, make it to blunt error as to say that Jesus Christ and Allah are the same God.

Well, certainly the core hand says that they’re not and that is of course, I think a total misconception by so many that this feel like that there’s one God but I think they’re not doing their homework and I think that’s the case here. And obviously as true believers, and I know there’s a lot of what is called Christianity that doesn’t accept the deity of Christ as well and therefore they’re really not Christians because as you just quoted, if you deny the deity of Christ and the person of Christ, then you do not have the Father and you’re not saved at all.

So the only way to be saved is to trust that Jesus Christ is God who came and took it on human flesh and died on the cross of coward to pay for our sins. The Islamic God is the moon God. And certainly they are very deceived to believe in one of God’s created objects. The moon has been God himself. That’s exactly what they do. And thank you for that call and we’re now going to go to Alice and Alice is in the need in Florida, so Alice.

Welcome to Bibleline you are on the air Alice are you there? Yes, Dr. Hainte. Okay. I have two quick questions, and I’ll hang up and listen for the answer. Okay I know that there is a different body and soul when they go to heaven. The soul goes and the body remains, I believe you said. And I was wondering about the people in the cross, he got to go to be with Jesus right away. I was just wondering about all those who are asleep.

Where are the souls in heaven or just the angels up there right now before the rapture? Well, go ahead. The souls are actually already with the Lord. It says in 2 Corinthians 5, 8, absolutely from the body, present with the Lord. So you will leave your body behind and it will be cremated or buried or something and it will return back to the elements for which it came. But you will get a new body at the event of the rapture when Christ comes back.

But your soul and your spirit are with the Lord from the moment you die. The Mormons believe that they all were on the planet Colab K-O-L-A-B. You can look about on the internet and they migrated here to planet Earth. And Elohim was their god and he had so many children. He was just having kids left and right and they needed bodies. So they got twelve of his sons together and through lots and Adam, rather Jesus was chosen as the Adam God to come here to the earth to start producing bodies.

And then those spirits could migrate here from that planet Colab and actually have a body to indwell. Satan got jealous and then he came down to the earth and all the black people come from Satan according to Mormonism. And obviously if you are going to be a model, Mormon wife, you’re going to be pregnant. The more babies you can produce, the more you can ascend toward Godhead yourself. And then, more must believe every one of us are little gods, and that we can actually surpass Jesus and become greater than He.

And so it’s a crazy religion but it’s certainly not Christian at all. And they believe that to this day? Oh yeah, absolutely. Sure they did, yeah, they did. It’s really crazy. So they really are self-proclaimed aliens. They have migrated here from the planet Colob. Alright, Dr. Hank, I love your program and I thank you very… Well, thanks a lot, Alice. God bless you. Alright, that was Alice and we’re now going to go to Gregory in Miami, Florida. And Gregory, welcome to my Blun, you’re on the air.

Hello. Hello, Gregory. How are you? Good. Yes, I have a question pertaining to the role of women in the church. My question is, when did women start pastoring in the early church? Is it permissible in your opinion for women? Well, that didn’t happen till this past 100 years and that is really out of order in If you read Timothy chapter 2 Beginning in verses 11 through 15. It says I suffer not a woman to teach or to usurp authority over the man so women were never to be Bible teachers or preachers and obviously Jesus chose 12 male disciples didn’t he and In the early Deacons read Acts 6 there were seven men that were chosen out, not any women.

These were seven men and women are not to have that role. And it tells you why in Timothy there it says that number one reason is that for order, infrastructure, Adam was created first and then the Eve. So because Adam was first, he was given the responsibility, man was given responsibility for the spiritual leadership. Secondly, it tells us that Adam was not deceived, but Eve was deceived in the garden. So we learned something there that in spiritual matters, because women think more emotionally, men think more factually, women are more easily deceived, and so God did not want them to have the responsibility of spiritual leadership.

Many cults have been founded by women, and they think emotionally, like Ellen G. White. She said, I just can’t believe in a God that would send anybody to hell, so she denies So the seven Adventists which follow her teachings say there is no hell the Christian sign is found by Mary Baker Eddie She just I can’t believe in a god. It was send anybody to hell So when she denied hell so all the Christian scientists led by this woman have been led astray that there is no hell For are they gonna wake up one day find out there in deep trouble because not only did they do not hell But they denied the person of Christ salvation by faith and and so So, multitudes will follow these false women leaders and wind up in hell.

So we lost that call and hope that helps a little bit, but women are not to be preachers today and that’s a violation of Scripture. We have Tony in Richmond, Virginia. Tony, welcome to Bibleline You’re On The Air. You’re so excited today. I’m only excited, Dr. Hank, for you about the way that I’ve read about. I guess in second, is that different than the falling away there? Actually, the Greek word means a departure. And if it is a departure from doctrine, then that is apostasy.

But in the context, it’s the departure of the one who restrains iniquity in this world. That is the Holy Spirit who dwells in us. So when he goes, we go. And when he’s taken out, then the Antichrist will be revealed. The tribulation period will be underway. So the departure there that is talking about the falling waste translated badly there, it should be translated to departure and is the departure of he the one that hinders in the equity in this world.

If you read a couple verses further down, you’ll find is talking about the Holy Spirit who when he goes we go and that’s the Rapture. Thank you for clarifying that. The Bible that I have, I’ve got two bibles. One is a Thompson Chained of Reference, which I don’t even reference anymore. We have a new Spirit-filled Bible, what is called a Spirit-filled Bible, it’s in the New King James, and the notes that are in there say that that’s falling away at which you said it first.

Now, the reason why I have it, sorry? But it’s not the apostasy. It’s not a falling away from doctrine. It’s a departure of the believer. And that word is used in other places where Paul said he had a desire to depart and be with Christ. And in 2 Timothy 4 he said the time of mind to parchers at hand. He was going to be killed, executed in Rome for being the man that he was for Christ. And he was going to depart this body and leave it immediately be with the Lord in heaven.

So he talks about the departure as a, and that’s the same word that’s used over there in 2nd Desolonians. You make it so clear in the Bible, you have to do the word, and I read the scriptures and check it out, it’s very clear. However I do have people around me that teach the Bible, and the thing that was taught to me that has given me a little bit of a question of confusion is when we’re caught up to meet the Lord in teaching me was that it doesn’t necessarily meet him in the air.

I want to hang up and let you roll with that. God bless you very ministry. Read verse 16 and 17 in 1st Thessalonians chapter 4 and it says, and so shall we ever be with the Lord. So we meet him in the air, but then from that moment on we’ll never leave his side. So wherever Christ is, that’s where we’re going to be. So while he’s still in Heaven will be there, but at the second coming seven years after the rapture when he comes back we’re going to come back with him and rule and reign on this earth for the thousand year earthly reign of Christ.

So Tony I hope that helps you and thank you so much for the call. The phone number here is at Bible and 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Again, we have that Christmas special, 20, How Permanent is your Salvation CDs. These are great to use to evangelize over the Christmas holidays. Give them out, maybe include them with a gift or in a card to somebody. And they really are effective in leading people to Christ. We also have 50 of the best track we have here called, Am I Going to Heaven?

Very loaded with scripture and does a great job. We’ve seen it lead people to Christ just by them receiving it and reading it through thoroughly. They’ll like they can get saved and many do. We also are going to give you the handbook of personal evangelism. That is a book that tells you how to evangelize, how to witness. And this will give you a lot of ideas and really covers exactly what you would say when you’re talking to somebody who is lost.

and that total package worth about 120 in value we are going to give it away for a gift of a hundred as a gift of Bible and to help us here through the holidays. So call in and you can place that order and we’ll ship out those and other things that we have here, including the Scofield Bible’s the correct one because if you go to your bookstore they’re going to sell you the new Scofield which I believe is inferior.

We’re going to go down to Sam in Lakeland, Florida, and Sam, welcome to Bibleline You’re on the air. Oh, Andrew, good morning. How you doing? Good. I enjoy your probing. That parrot, the script away was talking about the seven brothers, the later married the seven brothers. Without a parrot, that’s really what it was. Now that was a hypothetical case brought up by the Sadducees in a confrontation with Christ in Matthew chapter 22. they were trying to trap him and the Old Testament had said that if a husband and wife were married and they didn’t have any children, the next brother in line was to marry that wife to carry on the seed of that family, the family line.

So they brought up this case just to trap Christ and say, well, whose wife will she be of these seven men because they kept dying off after they married her? And Christ said that you’re in error because of two things. First of all, you don’t know the scriptures, so that implies that the scriptures are without error. What a great verse that is. Also, because he says you don’t recognize the power of God. There can be a resurrection if God can create us.

Certainly he can. The Sadducees didn’t believe in the resurrection. They were trying to trap Christ and the tangling him up there with that hypothetical case. So it wasn’t a real situation, but it was a hypothetical. I like that, I should note the question. That script when he was talking about that, that script right in there was telling him about you couldn’t lose your salvation because he said the one that he the one that they’ve been dead and the one that they’ve been that life they have ever left in life.

that direct to you. You couldn’t lose your salvation once you’d be saved in this. Well, of course. I mean, you can’t ever lose your salvation. And the Bible is clear that once you die, you will enter into the presence of the Lord as a believer and live with him forever and ever and ever. Thank you so much, Sam. Thank you for that call. We now have Robert in Petersburg, Virginia, and Robert walks into the Bible on your own ear.

Robert? Hello. Hello, you’re on the air. Hello. Hi, can you hear me now? Yes, I can hear you. Okay. What’s your question? My question is, does the angels live in heaven or someplace else other than heaven, and where did the wild Satan separated from heaven? Well, first of all, the angels originally lived here on the original earth, There were plants, animals, dinosaurs, and all of the angels of God. Lucifer was their God and ruled over them here on the earth until Satan, or Lucifer, decided to overthrow God and led a rebellion to heaven, to overthrow heaven.

That’s when Lucifer fell and became Satan. of the angels fell with him. Today there are the fallen angels which are consigned here to the earth and they are alive and well under Satan’s leadership and will be until after the thousand year reign of Christ when Satan and his angels be cast into hell. There is no one in hell as yet. In Matthew 2541 it says, depart from me, ye cursed in everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

So we know hell was prepared for Satan and as angels, but all those in the human race that deny Christ and die without Christ as their Savior will go to hell after Satan is cast in. But really right now only God’s angels are having access to heaven and they travel back and forth to the earth and they carry out many missions for God. But Satan’s angels are confined here to the earth right now until ultimately they are cast into the lake of fire.

Hope that helps. Thank you. You’re really welcome and thank you for calling in today to Bibleline. The program goes so quickly and we sure do enjoy getting to be with you.
