Some of the other stations give us bonus times on the weekend and we’re on in North Adams, Massachusetts and they play us at nine in the morning and again at nine at night. We know that over there in the land, Florida, they play us at 10 o’clock live in the morning and again, 9 o’clock at night there and those are extra programs they run. In Chattanooga, Tennessee, they run us four times a day. We’re on a 10 in the morning and 10 at night and 4 in the afternoon and 4 a.m.

in the morning. So four hours a day, if you’re going through Chattanooga, you can hear Bible and of course other stations that we’re on. We’re excited about being with you today and we’re going to be studying the Bible for a few minutes and then we’re going to be taking questions and answers, then you can call in with your question and or you can send it in by email. If you want to go to our website, go to BibleLineMinistries.org, go to the spinning globe, click on it, the page that comes up will have a form already ready for you to fill out with your question, put in your first name and the city you’re calling from and hit submit.

We’ll get that in just minutes. minutes, we’ll put that up on the screen and we’ll try to answer that for you as soon as we possibly can. Or you can just call in with your off-air question and say I don’t want to go up on the air but I would like to leave a question and we’ll have our operators write that question down and we’ll get that and we’ll answer it as well. We’re teaching a class now in first Peter’s, turning out to be a wonderful series, what a great book first and second Peter are and we’ll go two more weeks and do four more hours of instruction and we’ll complete ten hours of teaching on 1 Peter.

Some have already ordered parts of it because we’ll go week by week with you if you want, or you can wait a couple of war weeks and get the entire set. We’re going to take off for Israel February 25th, and then we’ll come back and teach 2 Peter. We’ll do 10 hours of teaching on 2nd Peter.

So we’ll have two more series completed here. We’re going to get all done. First Peter, and then 2nd Peter available for you to view. Or just listen to. A lot of people are liking the DVD because they use it in a Bible study situation where they have the big screen played in your DVD player on a big monitor or screen. And everybody can sit around and watch it. And it facilitates a Bible study. And if you want to do that, that’s a great idea.

A lot of people are doing that. We’re hearing from them and they’re having great success. So you might want to try that. We would love to have you go to Israel. We’re told that maybe, maybe we can get you on board. If you want to go, felling out of brochure yesterday, he might decide to go. But otherwise, we’re locked in. We’re going. And if you’d like to go, we could try to squeeze you in, but you have to let us know right away.

Also, we want you to know our Resource Center has opened every day until about 430 people are coming by all day long to visit us and we’re excited and so far this week we’ve had two different families didn’t know each other don’t live about eight miles I guess apart but listen up there in Lansing Michigan capital of Michigan and they’re on we’re on every day there on 1390 on the Amdown and they listened daily and one family came to the Sunday worship service here to say hi and the other one came by our bookstore on Tuesday and we got to meet that family and they enjoy bimlin’ and that’s really exciting to hear from our listeners who call in.

We hope that you will pass the word along to your friends and neighbors that the Bibleline is on. If you have friends and relatives and people overseas, they can get it too. The latest country added to our list of people that have tuned into Bibleline is the country of Burma. That’s Buddhist country. That makes the count now 153 countries. We’ve gotten correspondence here in the past couple of weeks from Australia, from East Africa. Africa from Singapore from Indonesia from Dubai in the United Arab Emirates and we’re amazed at how Bible and is reaching out through the Internet.

Take advantage. You want to see our Sunday worship services, they’re there in archive, clicked on the camera on the home page. If you do that at 11 o’clock Sunday morning, you’ll get the live worship service. If you do it during the week, you’ve got a year’s worth of sermons sitting there that you can watch and hear on the internet. We’re going to turn to our Bibles and then you can call in the number here. 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Give us a call and we’ll get you ready to get up on the ear here with us.

We’ve been talking a little bit about Calvinism. five points of Calvinism. I disagree with all five as they are generally presented and the third one is called limited atonement. The way we memorize these five points is by the acronym tulip and the T in tulip stands for total of the probability we talked about that yesterday. The U in tulip stands for unconditional election. We talked about that yesterday. The L in tulip stands for limited determinant. We’ll talk about that today.

The eye stands for irresistible grace. We’ll talk about that as soon as we can. And the last one, the P in Tulip is perseverance of the saints. And I am a zero-point Calvinist. Nowadays, because some of these points are so not defensible that we have Calvinists who have said, oops, I’m only a four-point, or I’m a three-point, or I’m a two-point, or I’m a one point, I’m a zero point. Let’s talk about limited atonement. It reminds me of a lone ranger.

The lone ranger had those silver bullets, and you know, he didn’t waste those. When an occasional rose, he’d take one of those silver bullets and load it into his revolver, and those were bullets that had the really count. Well, the Calvinist says that Jesus didn’t waste any blood, just like the lone ranger didn’t waste any bullets. And so he only died for the elect. In other words, only those that God pre-chose to go to heaven did Christ die for, and he shed no blood for those that are not elected, that are actually, in a sense, elected to go to hell, but they call them the non-elect.

And what I said, said, that commentary that is not what the Bible teaches. Let me give you a great verse. Mark it down. Limited Atonement cannot stand in the face of scripture. If you look at 1 John chapter 2 and verse 2 it says, and he Christ is the propitiation. That word means a satisfying sacrifice. He Christ is the propitiation or satisfying sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only, catch this now, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Now how do you wiggle out of that? According to my Bible, Jesus died for everybody, not just the elect. Let me read that again. 1 John 2.2 says, He Christ is the propitiation. That means the satisfying sacrifice that would satisfy God’s justice at the cross of Calvary. And He died and He was the satisfying sacrifice for our sins and not for our sins only, but also for the sins of the whole world. No wiggle room there. John 3 16 it says Christ or rather for God so loved just the elect no it doesn’t say that it says God so loved the world the whole world is included when Christ was given he died for everyone in order that everyone might go to heaven it’s God’s desire not that anyone should be lost but all would come to know Christ as their Savior and be saved

Let me give you another great one. This is in the book of Hebrews chapter 2. Hebrews chapter 2, it says here in my Bible in verse 9, but we see Jesus. He was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor that he by the grace of God should taste death for only the elect. No, it doesn’t say that. It says here that he should by the grace of God taste death for every man, every man.

We are limited to the Bible. I’m telling you, people make up things and you have to be careful what you buy into and believe because a lot of these things are purely man-made, doctors, man-made teachings, absolutely invented. This is certainly not biblical. If you have bought into limited toonement, you are ignoring your Bible and you’re buying in the man-made teachings. What does the Bible say? Who should we follow? Should we follow men or should we follow God? Should we obey God or should we obey men or should we go to commentaries and books about the Bible or should we go right to the Bible and see what the Bible has to say.

Well I believe the answer is the Bible is God’s Word. We need to consult with God’s Word. So limited atonement cannot be defended. Christ died for every man, woman, child that would ever live and the Bible says that who so ever anyone that would believe or trust in Christ as their Savior, believing he paid their sin, death and full, was buried and rose again from the dead, would go to heaven. The next point is called Irresistible Grace. An Irresistible Grace says that when God selected those who would be saved, they could not resist.

They could not say no, they would just be like a limp dish rag and follow what God planned out for them. So, Irresistible Grace says that God’s Spirit would come upon the one elected for salvation and overpower them. They could not resist it. It’s not resistible grace. It’s irresistible grace. And so, they will be overcome and be saved. And by the way, it’s with disregard the belief. In other words, you don’t believe to be saved according to Calvinism. You are saved because God chose you and then you believe as a consequence that that is something that happens subsequently.

Well, I’m going to have you turn in the Bible with me to Acts chapter 7. You got your Bible there? Here we have Stephen, the first Christian martyr, and he’s preaching a very powerful, powerful message. He convicted all those that were listening. as he gets down to the end of his message in Acts chapter 7. Look at verse 51. Stephen says, You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears. You do always, here’s the word, resist the Holy Spirit. Irresistible grace says that the Holy Spirit cannot be resisted, that He will overpower anyone that has been elected and they will cave in and wind up becoming safe well what does the bible say here steven says you stick that on circumcise and heart and ears you do always resist the holy spirit and it says as your fathers did so do you so it was just not that audience

but it’s talking about all the ancestors all the way back uh… israel is known for resisting the truth in the word of God and rejecting what the prophets taught and obviously rejecting the Savior when he came. And so here Stephen was bringing that indictment against Israel that they had crucified the Savior that had been promised through the word of God in the prophets and they resisted the grace of God. So obviously there goes point number four of Calvinism, irresistible grace cannot be defended.

It’s resistable. A person can say no, a person can turn down salvation, and a person therefore would be lost, and it’s very clear. The last point of Calvinism is called the perseverance of the saints. This is totally wrong. It’s called the eternal security point of Calvin, but it really is not eternal security at all. I am eternally secure, not because I persevere, but I am eternally secure because my Savior, Jesus perseveres, and He endures and lives forever and ever to make good on the promises He has made to me.

So I am not eternally saved because I persevere or because I do anything. I am eternally saved because of what Christ did for me at the cross and because He came back from the dead because he lives he can make good on the promises that he’s made that he would save me eternally. But Calvinists who say in one breath were unconditionally elected, it’s not based on our works, our deeds, our conduct, our behavior, not even belief. Come right back around at the back door and say unless you have works unless your life is changing constantly in an upward way you’re not saved because you don’t persevere therefore you were not elected.

interesting doctrine, isn’t it? And so basically the Calvinist, although they say they are elected, not based upon anything they do, say that unless you have the works that demonstrate that you are elected, you’re not elected. And what a sad, sad commentary the whole thing is. That is certainly not true. If I didn’t change one thing in my entire life, I would still be saved because that is not a part of salvation. I’m saved not by what I do for God, but I’m saved by what God did for me in Christ.

And when I trust Him as my Savior, I receive eternal life. Let me give you a great verse. Wow, is this ever great? Here in 1 Corinthians 3, it talks about the judgment that all believers will stand that one day, and our works will be examined. And here it anticipates a person who does zero. I’m talking about Z-E-R-O-0 things that are worthy of mention or reward by the Lord. It talks about in verse 15 of 1st Corinthians 3, write it down, if any man’s work shall be burned at this judgment, instead of Christ where our works are examined, those that have works that remain will receive a reward.

But here it talks about if any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss, that’s loss of reward, but it goes on to say, but he himself shall be saved. Let me read that again, but he himself shall be saved. He’s going to be saved, yet so as by fire the Calvin has said, no, that’s not so. If you don’t have works worthy of reward, you will not be saved. Well, obviously, do they believe the Bible? It’s man-made teaching.

I’m telling you that if you’re not careful you buy in and then people said well look at all the people who believe this look at all the people who teach this it doesn’t matter you know in the days of Noah when Noah told the world that it was going to flood how many people believe Noah nobody did except his family I mean it was eight people that believed that message the rest of the world said that’s not going to be any flood I mean this is Noah’s crazy building this great big boat hundreds of miles from any water, how’s you going to get it to the water?

Well, they didn’t believe that the water was going to come to NOAA and that boat would float and what was interesting is it didn’t float toward the oceans or toward the seas as it would happen in a normal flood. This arc went backwards. It went higher and higher and higher so So that wound up resting on Mount Aire, at about 14,000 feet, they believe, above sea level. So he built it way low, and it rose thousands of feet and actually wound up resting at the top of the mountain.

Now, let’s see you built a boat in your driveway, and it was going to flood. The normal flood would sweep your boat out to the Gulf or to the ocean or to the lake or to where the lowest spot is where the water goes. This was a different flood. It was such a flood that the water came in one and rose over the tops of the mountains. And Noah’s ark went inward inland to the highest mountains. What a great verse we have here.

1 Corinthians 3, 15 says, If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss, but he himself shall be saved, yet so as by fire. Well, that’s a little bit about Calvinism and obviously it’s contradictory to the Bible. It’s contradictory to the Bible. And you have to decide, are you going to believe the Bible or are you going to believe men? And the Bible says, curse would be the man who puts his trusted man. We need to put our trust in the living God and believe his word.

I don’t care who’s teaching differently. I’m Dr. Anker, and from this is Bible, and we’ve got people calling in. We want to get you up on the air with us, and we also want to take care of some offer questions. So, call us here at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. So give me a call 1-800-576-3771. I think I’ll take this offer a question here, unknown caller from an unknown caller. an unknown city they didn’t say where they’re calling from. Please this offer a question.

I do not understand. You view on the pre-tribulation view of the Rapture. Am I correct? In the last days there will be a turning away of those who are on fire for God. Please give more proof of your view. Well, first of all, the tribulation period is Really, seven years that are the last seven years of the Old Testament. We, the Church, the body of Christ, have no part in that. You know, once the Rapture happens, God won’t be back on Jewish territory.

The Jews will be back in the land already there in anticipation of it. They’ll have a temple rebuilt right after the Rapture. They’ll offer blood sacrifices again during that time. Old Testament prophets are coming back according to Revelation chapter 11. Moses and Elijah, I believe, are the ones. 144,000 Jewish men will be the witnesses, so the Jews will be the witnesses again, as they once were before Pentecost. And obviously, they’ll be keeping the Jewish laws in the Sabbath. In Matthew 24, it talks about when Christ comes back at the end of the of tribulation period.

Whoa, to those that are living, if it happens on that day when the Sabbath occurs, because they will not be able to flee from the Antichrist in those days, because they can’t tell where they’re found in the Sabbath. That’s a part of the Sabbath rules. So it’s all Jewish, and we’re leaving. We’re not the nation of Israel. We haven’t replaced Israel. We are the church, and we’re the body of Christ. We’re the bride of Christ. caught up at the rapture, then go back to carrying out his plans for Israel.

And if the tribulation period were to happen first, then why doesn’t the Bible say that? Why doesn’t it say wait for tribulation? And then Christ will be back. It doesn’t say that. It says wait for Jesus and then it says tribulation will follow. So if you’re reading your Bible and you didn’t get that little bit of an order straight, then the rapture comes first, Christ comes first and then tribulation, you got it made. Paul is at 1-800-576-3771. We would love to hear from you.

And I hope you will. Leset in Pimbroke, Pine, Florida, South Florida calls him with his offer question. Why does God allow bad things such as cancer, the death of a child, tragic accidents, etcetera happen? And what do you say to a person or family who are going through such things? Well, obviously, he did that as he created us creatures of choice when Adam sinned. Obviously, the consequences of sin passed upon the whole human race. The Bible is very clear that there wouldn’t be death and there wouldn’t be this sorrow and this curse upon the earth that happened as a result of Adam sinned.

But you know, these things can turn to be a blessing. Sometimes these things cause a person to reflect and maybe search and find the Lord before it’s too late. Obviously, if everything is going well and you’re in perfect health, the Bible says that you may not ever seek God, but sometimes through adversity, through trials, a person begins to stop and ask some questions and look for the Lord. And if you seek the Bible says you’ll find and you might get saved.

You know most people will say if you really ask them the right questions that if they go back and reflect upon when they did get saved if they’re a saved person it’s usually around some significant time in their life. Maybe it was a surgery, maybe it was a death in the family, maybe it was a divorce, maybe it was the death of a child or maybe it was some other experience. But many times that’s when people trust the Lord because they seek and they look.

Again we thank you for tuning in down to Miami. We’re excited about being on the air down there every day Monday through Friday and we’re going to say goodbye because you signed off a little bit earlier than our other stations. But again let me remind you we’re list or supported in order to continue to stay in Miami. We need people that are listening in Miami to help us. you call us and give a gift to Bible Island and keep Bible Island on the year in Miami.

Have a great day and I’ll look forward to seeing you again tomorrow and we go back now to our regular audience. We’re going to go to Jacksonville, Florida. We have a patient listener now, George and Jacksonville and George. Welcome to Bible Island. You’re on the air. How you doing today? Good. I appreciate you taking my call. I just heard a make a question about the future of rapture. and you just explained that I somehow have a different view and I just need some clarity on it.

The scripture that she referred to that spoke about the fallen awake, and then the anti-Christ will be revealed. In Thessalonians, Jesus made a reference. Well, no, I’m sorry. It was a becoming of the Lord. I don’t know that it had already happened. That it would not happen. And actually, if you look at that phrase, it really means a departure. If it’s a departure from doctrine, then it’s called apostasy. And that’s what most people have bought into. But if you read the context, it’s really the departure of the one who hinders iniquity in this world.

That’s the Holy Spirit mentioned a few verses further down where it says he that hinders iniquity will get down. continue to hinder inequity until he be taken out of the way. That’s the Holy Spirit who is enjoying us. And when he goes, we go. And then the Antichrist will be revealed right after that departure of the Holy Spirit. So there you have your answer. Now we’re going to go upon break. So we’ll have to hold you over the break.

But thank you for tuning in today. This is Bible item. We’re going to have a second half hour in just a moment. We’re going to take a break and come back. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Alright, we’re back from that break and this is Bibleline, it’s great to be with you. Again, we’re coming to you. Bibleline is from Tampa, Florida. our students here at the Calvary Community Church while I’m the pastor. We look forward to getting to meet our audience whenever you come into town.

If you’re living out of town, come in here and say hi. We’re right next to the airport. So if you fly into a Tampa airport, we’re a block west of the control tower. So we’re so close sometimes, I feel like I can walk outside and slap those airplanes when they land. We are real close. I mean that close. So I’m kind of giving you that visual so that if you come and you get more than a block or so away from the airport, you can know you’re heading off into oblivion.

You’ll never find this. But if you can find Tampa’s International Airport, you can find us because we’re right there on the west side. On George Road running north and south paralleling the main north south runway at Tampa International. So come on by and say hi and we have people that do that from all over the country and we always love to meet our listeners when they come to town. If you can’t, guess what? You can go and visit everything on the website.

You can visit our worship services line on Sunday morning. You can visit them in archive a whole year’s worth of sitting there for you. You can visit our radio programs, our TV programs. Everything is there on the internet. Look at Bibleline ministries.org. That’s one word, B-I-B-L-E-L-I-N-E-M-I-N-I-S-T-R-I-E-S.org. Bibleline Ministries, one word, we do everything lowercase and type that in and you’ll be able to find us. We sure enjoy being with you every day and I hope that you’ll tell your friends about the program and help us grow Bibleline.

And don’t forget, we have people around the world that are listening and you can tell your friends in other countries as well. We know we have people in South America, Central America, Africa, Europe. We were in Israel last March and we met a wonderful group of people from Nigeria. And I said, hey come over to the hotel and join my Bible study tonight. About 40 of them came. One of them stood up and said, I listen to the Bible and every day in Nigeria.

I had to just amaze me. And you know, we, we, to meet somebody from Nigeria that actually is listening to our Bible and program that I would go to Israel, he would go to Israel, we’d find a, the word put us together, what a throw. And we just are excited about what God is doing. We’re just supported by the way, and if you’d like to help Bible, and you would be a great help, we had a lady call this morning who listens every day, and she said, I want to call and set up where I can give a regular monthly gift by my credit card and we told her how she could do that and you might want to do something like that.

You just tell us you want to give X number of dollars a month and they’ll set it up so that it just automatically comes out. If you should ever change your mind we can remove that or if you want to change the amount up or down you can do that. But that would really help Bible and because we are less supported than you can give a gift by credit card or you can get envelopes from us and mail your gift in.

But in any case Bible I need your help. And here we’re winding up ending January and we could use your help to finish out this month standing tall. We’re going to go to Canada, Toronto, Canada. We have Claude there waiting and Claude welcome to Bibleline you’re on there. Good morning. Good morning. I heard you talk about in a lot of churches. I would like to know when the raps were at the rear does the church or the saints go?

Is it a place of special hiding or we go directly to heaven with… Well good question, we go directly to heaven. We first meet in the upper atmosphere. It says it in 1 Thessalonians chapter 4 verse 13 through 18 that the Lord Himself shall ascend from heaven with a shout, with a voice of the archangel with a trumpet of God and the dead will receive their resurrection bodies first in the upper atmosphere. And we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and then it says, and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

So, wherever Jesus is, we’re going to be with Him. And so, when He comes back seven years later to the Second Coming, we come back with Him. We’ll ever be with Lord wherever He goes we go. And He’ll be here on the earth for a thousand years. We’re going to come back with Him and rule and reign during that thousand-year reign of Christ. And so, yeah, it’s exciting. Okay, so we come back with the Lord. Now, is Gentile world does not keep the Sabbath?

So, heaven do we? No, we’re going to be ruling and reigning with Christ. So, we’ll be in our new resurrection body. and the actual subjects will be not only the Jewish people, but all the nations of the earth that have gotten saved during the tribulation period and have not been killed and survived to live into that thousand year kingdom. But yes, I believe the Sabbath will be honored during that time. And actually the Sabbath was a foreshadowing of this thousand year period, which is the seventh day probably of human history.

And it’s a thousand years and a week. We believe that the seven days of the recreated week were a picture of a prophecy that would be six days or six thousand years of human history from Adam until the second coming. And then there would be a thousand years seventh day of rest where the whole earth would be at rest in a peace and that is the millennium. And it seems pretty accurate if Adam was here four thousand years BC, that means it was four days or 4000 years till Christ and then since Christ there’s been 2000 years and so here we are coming up on the end of the sixth day and the seventh day is about to commence.

What happens to everybody on the earth? Well the earth will be destroyed by fire and the save will live in the New Jerusalem with the Lord forever which will come down and orbit the new earth that God creates and The lost will be cast into hell along with Satan and his angels, and they will be forever separated. We’ll never see them again. They’ll be gone, gone, and isolated, yet alive and being tormented day and night forever and ever in the everlasting lake of fire.

I know it’s hard to come up. So when the earth is going to be destroyed by fire, where will the chosen ones go on this earth? Where will they go? To the New Jerusalem. We’ll go to this heavenly city. If you read Revelation 21 and 22, it talks about that. And it begins in verse 1 where it says, and I John saw the new heavens and the new earth for the former heavens and former earth were passed away. And then I saw the new Jerusalem coming down as a bride from heaven to the earth.

And that’s of course the heavenly city where we’re going to live. And Christ will live in that city with us. And we’re going to just enjoy the most marvelous environment that will ever have been in. That’s the feature of gold and that’s the tree of life will be there. We’ll get to enjoy the fruit of it. We’ll drink from the water of life as it flows right through the city. It’s going to be wonderful. And we have an eternity of fellowshiping and serving God forever.

Okay, thanks for your time, sir. Okay Claude and Toronto, Canada, and we’re so glad to have him tuning in. As we said before, people around the world are tuning in and we have listeners in Canada and all around the planet really. We’re not going to go to Wallace in Tampa, Florida and Wallace. Welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Yes, I have a question. I have a question. I saw a guy wearing a pin that has a make statement made.

In my question, I’m talking about his answer. He had two versions that are John 1415 and Revelation 1217. Do you say that please make statement made? Would you say that please? Thank you. Revelation 1217? Yes, sir. In 2015. Okay. Well, you know, in Revelation, Satan gets angry. He has this bitterness toward Israel that brought forth a Savior. Revelation 12 talks about Israel being the nation that brought forth the Messiah. When Satan loses control of the Earth, he casts down under the surface of the Earth.

He takes out his vengeance on the nation of Israel. We can already see anti-Semitism rising, but in the tribulation period after the rapture, Satan, through the antichrist, will attack the Jewish people. And the Bible says, 9 tenths of the Jews around the world will be slaughtered. And two-thirds of the Jews in the state of Israel will be slaughtered. And so this is another Holocaust that will be a minimum of three times greater than the Jews in the state of Israel.

what Hitler did in World War II. What a tragic time is coming. I’m glad I’m leaving at the Rapture. That’s for sure. And I don’t think it’s smart for us to intentionally make Satan mad because we’re no match for Satan. I think what we need to do is just please the Lord. And the Bible says as we are steadfast in the faith that Satan will flee. So I think I’d rather just do what I’m supposed to be doing, be steadfast in the faith, and let God take care of Satan.

The Bible says, as long as I’m doing that, God will protect me, and he will flee from me. I think that’s really the right position. I forgot that other reference in John 14, I think it was, or something. I think that’s the whole point. Michael over there in the book of Jude didn’t really want to take on Satan but he said the Lord rebuked me. Let me see if I can still find that verse. It’s chapter 14 verse 15.

I thank you, said, and John’s Gospel, chapter 14 verse 15. And I don’t know if it has that thing to do with Satan here. So I must have the wrong verse. says if you love me keep my commandments. But, uh, Wallace anyway that’s the answer. I would not ever want to take on Satan because he’s a very powerful being and we’re no match for him, but he’s no match for God. And if you’re serving the Lord God will take care of Satan and that’s all you have to worry about.

Thank you, Wallace, Wallace and Tampa for calling in. You’re welcome because here at 1-800-576-3771 we sure enjoy hearing from you. you, and I hope that you will give us a call. We’re now going to go to Sharon in Orange City, and she leaves an offer a question. She says, did I understand you to say that baptism is not necessary? It’s not necessary for salvation, but it is something that a believer ought to do. Christ left two ordinances, and the one is water baptism, the other is the Lord’s Supper.

goes on to say, isn’t it to show an outward appearance that you have except in Christ as your personal Savior? The answer is yes. It’s a picture of how we’re cleansed of our sin, not by water, but by the blood of Christ. Revelation 1-5 says unto him that loved us and washed us from our sins in his own blood. So the blood of Christ washes where our sin but the water is symbolic and it’s a public way of giving testimony to how you were saved the sins of your sin by the blood of Christ.

Alright John in Table 4 and it says do you think it’s wrong for a Christian to try and disprove the Bible? Well have at it you won’t be able to do it but try your best. The Bible is going to be around longer than you have lived or will ever live. The Bible has been around for thousands of years and it’s amazing. I’ve been studying it for a lifetime and I can’t find any myth or fairytale or superstition or error in the Bible.

If there seems to be a contradiction that’s usually my ignorance of the context or of the circumstances or the customs of that day or maybe a word not translated correctly, but you go and try. You’re not going to be able to do it. you know jesus and heaven and earth will pass away but my words shall never pass away and that’s in that he twenty four thirty five price i did uh… long after this earth is gone and that’s still way ahead of us uh…

the bible will still be around peter tells us in first peter chapter one that the word of god live in a biden forever forever it’s gonna be around a long time you will be able to this through the trial if you want good luck You’re going to be obviously embarrassed one day when you stand up for the Lord. Alright, we have Alan in Tampa 40. He says, if I marry an unbeliever, is it acceptable to God? And of course the answer is no.

If not, should I leave the unbeliever? Well, once you get married, then you’re in a situation where you’re committed to stay. And what you ought to do is attempt to lead that unbeliever to Christ. First Corinthians 7 talks about that exact situation where you have a believer married to an unbeliever and it says if possible, stay in that relationship and you don’t know, verse 16, whether you might be able to lead that wife or that husband to Christ. Christ.

If you have children to leave them to Christ. So, Alan, if you have already done so, you’ve married an unbeliever, then you need to try to stay and win that part of the Christ. If you haven’t, then don’t do it. You’re not to marry an unbeliever. Peter tells us in 1 Peter chapter 3, some good advice if you have an unsafe partner on how to win to Christ and that’s a great chapter to take a look at 1 Peter chapter 3.

We have Joyce in Utica, New York and she says in this offer question, what is the doctrine of an Asarine Church? Well, the Asarine Church basically is works or added and believes that you can lose your salvation, that you have to maintain the Christian life, faithfully till you die and then and only then you go to heaven. Obviously that’s totally wrong. That’s salvation by works. And tragically we need to pray for Nazarenes because they won’t be saved because they’re trusting in their works.

And I didn’t make those rules, but the Bible says it’s not of works, lest any man should boast or brag. Ephesians 2 and 9, that it’s not of yourself, Ephesians 2 and 8, that it’s the gift of God. It was purchased by Christ and is not based upon our activities or obedience or behavior is based upon what Christ did for us. Thank you for that question and we appreciate that call. If you have a question you’re welcome to call us at 1-800-576-3771.

All right, we’re going to go here to Denver. living in Union, Kentucky and listing there in Kentucky to Bibleline. Do you think it’s wrong for Christians to vote for candidates who support policies that are contrary to the Bible such as abortion, gay marriage, etc. And my opinion is no, I really don’t think, I believe it’s like giving them God’s speed or our approval when as a believer. How can we give approval to those things that are wrong or may?

It reminds me of that story of Baelam and Baelic wanted to hire him to support things that were contrary to what God had promised or had blessed. And God got pretty ticked off at him for doing that. So I think sometimes we may not have anybody we could really vote for. And that’s sad. we’re living in a time. I’m afraid we’re so allowing our country to degenerate itself, such that we don’t have anybody that we can look to that says, I’m a believer in Jesus Christ, and I stand for the principles of the Scripture.

And so, hope that answers your question there, Denver, in Kentucky, and we’re going to go to Jesse Kapp in Sarasota. Jessica, welcome to Bibleline your own ear. Pardon me? You’re on the ear. Hi, Jessica. I have a question for you about the word. I do believe in eternal security, but there is a scripture I don’t understand, and it’s such that he who remains faithful to the end will be saved, and I’m going to hang out and listen to you on the radio.

Okay, it’s in Matthew 2413, and in the context is talking about the tribulation period, and in the context of talking about physical death, not eternal salvation. If you look over to verse 21 of that chapter of 24 of Matthew, it says, then shall be great tribulations, such as was not since the beginning of the world, at this time, no nor shall ever be. So the worst time in history is yet ahead during the tribulation period. And those that are living there at that time, the danger of them dying is great because of the plagues in the judgments and the battle of Armageddon and so on.

But it says in verse 22 that Christ will come back and cut those days short at just seven years in length because if he didn’t, it says notice carefully. That there would no flesh be saved. Now it’s clearly talking about physical death when it talks about the flesh. So it says if Christ didn’t cut the tribulation period off in just seven years, no flesh would be saved. But it says if you are a believer in the tribulation period and you endure to the end of the tribulation period, you’ll be saved physically to live into the monial kingdom of Christ.

And so that’s what it’s talking about. To be terminally saved has nothing to do with that. And you have to read a verse in its content. than that was often misused. But it’s talking about those who get saved in the tribulation period, they’re less behind at the rapture, but get saved after the rapture, if they manage to physically endure to the end of the tribulation, they’re home free to live in the whole millennial kingdom of Christ. And if Christ didn’t get the tribulation cleared off, verse 22, at just seven years of length, there would be no flesh that would endure to live in the millennial kingdom.

So he does cut it off and there are those who will enter into that thousand year period in their mortal bodies and be the subjects of the Millennial Kingdom. Thank you, Jessica, and Sarasota for that call. And we’re now going to go to Wayne in Sarasota. Wayne, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Yes, my name is Wayne. My Savior had a question I guess that I have and he died for every sin, for every man. Because they must receive that payment by faith.

They must trust Christ as Savior. Let me give you a great verse, many that we could turn to, but Peter tells us in 2 Peter chapter 3 that it is God’s will or desire that all men be saved, but yet not all men are because not all change their mind to trust Christ as their means of heaven. They still are resolved to keep trying whatever they’re doing right now to save themselves. The verse 9 of 2 Peter 3 says, the Lord is not slack concerning his promise, that is of his return, as men count slackness, but his long suffering, that is his patience to us word, not willing that any should perish.

Look at that. God doesn’t want anybody to perish or to go to hell, but that all should come to repentance. And repentance there, of course, is again the Greek word metanoia, a change of mind where they would recognize the error of whatever way they are trusting in to get to heaven and trust Jesus is the way of the truth in the life because nobody can come to the Father except through Him. So John 14, 6 Christ said, I am the way, I am the truth, I am the life.

No man can come to the Father but by me, they must trust Christ. And Jesus divides the whole world into two groups. John 3, 18, he to believe it is not condemned. But the second group, he to believe if not, is condemned already because he hath not believed in the name of the only being out in Son of God. So when you trust Christ, you’re not condemned. You’re going to have any heavy turn of life. But if you don’t believe or trust Christ before you die, you will perish.

But nobody has to perish. In fact, it’s God’s provision in Christ that everyone would be able to go to heaven. But obviously because of free will God gives us a choice, there are those who will die rejecting Christ. Okay, if I couldn’t, I apologize, like I said, I’m not the most learned in the Bible. I’m still working on it. And there are many other things I could comment on, other verses that I think would give opinions that would be different.

But that’s not what I get to. But still scares me about the comment or the question is, is that basically my Savior’s precious on anybody until they decide to become defective. Is that true? Well, in one sense you can say that because if you, Christ I have to pay for everybody’s sins in there, is only one sin therefore you’re held accountable for and that is a sin of unbelief. So right now the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5, 19 and several other verses it says that God is not charging.

are sins against us because he’s already paid for the most. So really he’s not charging, drinking or alcohol or drugs or any sin against any unbeliever because their sins are paid for. But if they don’t receive that payment then the Bible says that like in John 524 or rather John 824, you’ll die in your sins if you don’t believe that Christ is God and flesh who is the Savior. Then you’ll find that if you reject the only provision that God has made for your sin Then you’ll stand in your sin because you will have rejected the only provision of God made.

That is the unpardonable sin to turn down the offer that God made through Christ that His death. Well, sufficient to pay for every city you’d ever come in. But if you die and have rejected that, you’re not going to make it in. Okay. Thank you very much. I appreciate it. You’re very welcome and thank you for calling in from Sarasota, Florida, just south of Tampa. It’s been fun to be with you.
