Welcome to Bibleline with Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Coming to you from Calvary Community Church in Tampa, Florida declaring God’s love through radio and television, providing real answers to an ever searching world. Got a question? Dial toll free at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Now here’s the host of Bibleline, Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Well, good morning and welcome to Bibleline. And great to be with you today. Thanks for tuning in to the broadcast. We look forward to being with you each and every day.

Monday through Friday as we come to you live from our studios right here in Tampa, Florida at the Calvary Community Church. Great to be with you. Thanks for tuning in. We sure look forward to being with you and getting a chance to meet you. And if we ever get that opportunity, that would be wonderful. If you ever come to Tampa, please come by and see us here at our studios. We’re just a Block West, Tampa’s International Airport, easy to find, and take that extra minute and come by and knock on our door.

That’s right. We’re so close to the airport. Sometimes I feel like I can reach out and slap those airplanes as they go by. They’re right there next to us. We are that close. So if you get further than a block or so from the airport, you can know that you’re probably heading in the wrong direction. Come by and see us. We have people coming by every day to visit our resource center. Open every day till about 4.30. You can also visit that resource center online, BibleLineMinistries.org.

Click on the online bookstore. You’ll see all the different things that we have. We have the Scofield Bible, which is what I recommend. And you want to get the old Scofield, even the 1909 or the 1917 edition. The ones after that have been changed and altered, The new Scofield, oh boy, that really does change a lot of things. And of course the latest that there’s file selling in the bookstore is the hybrid. And it’s something you don’t want. Many, many notes are added that are not by Dr.

Scofield. If he knew what they have done, I’m sure he would be raising his fist in protest. And obviously they don’t tell you which notes are not by him and it’s scary. But the Old Stofield written a hundred years ago is really incredible. It’s the King James edition of the Bible, but it’s the notes that are there assembled and edited by Dr. C.I. Stofield that are so powerful and a great, great tool for your understanding of the Bible. We are so glad that you’re with us today.

We have just finished 1 Peter and those 10 hours of teaching on 1 Peter are available now on CD and DVD. Lots of folks are getting them and enjoying them. We also have a Gospel of John, that was a big one, 21 chapters and we did it in 20 hours of teaching. And so we did verse by verse about an hour per chapter and it’s a wonderful study. A lot of people are enjoying that. It’s also available on CD and DVD.

Plus we have the commentary I like so much, the Jameson Foset Brown, Three Volume commentary. And that is something that retails for $140, $150. We have it for a gift of $100. And it is priceless. I go through it all the time. It has a comment on every verse of the Bible. We also have the J. Vernon McGee, five volume commentary beautifully bound, nice coverage of the Bible. He covers every chapter. He doesn’t cover a reverse, but he covers every chapter.

Gets you steered in the right direction. And then the Jameson Posit Brown will take you to every verse. And so between the two of them, you’ll really have a powerful, powerful asset there in your home library. Again, that Jameson Posit Brown retails for 200. We have it for a gift of 100. That is a bargain. And it is beautifully bound five volumes covering the whole Bible. Oh, if you have your Bible handy, we’ll be talking about the Bible, then we’re going to take our call or you can call us here at 1-800-576-3771.

We hope Miami is listening. We know that apparently they took a lightning strike down there yesterday and we’re off the air and we were not broadcast in Miami, but we hope you’re listening today. Call us and let us know you’re hearing us. We hope to hear from folks from Miami, the numbers 1-800-576-3771. We hope you’ll call and… We’ll take your question on the air or you can leave it off there if you’d like to. We’ll try to catch it as an offer of questions.

We’ve got a lot of those. We’re leaving for Israel. We’ll be doing our broadcast from Israel, which will be exciting. I hope you’ll be listening in and you’ll be able to follow what we’re doing every day. Lots of folks are telling me they want to go on the next trip. That’s exciting. If you’re one of those, would you call us and get your name on our list so that we can keep you informed and we hope that you’ll plan to go with us if you call in and get your name on the list that doesn’t obligate you at all but we would love to have you go and we hope that you’ll go on the next trip.

We’ll plan another one and this one ought to be wonderful. We’re excited about it and we’ll be broadcasting boardwelling from Israel and you’ll get to enjoy our programs from there. If you have any questions, again, you can call in 1-800-576-3771 and we invite you to give us that call. We are listeners supported, and by the way, the only way we are able to be on the earth is because of our listeners who are the ones who pray for and give to Bibleline.

And maybe you’d like to be a partner with us. We get your usual help, and by the way, you can give a gift by credit card over the phone or you can call and ask for an envelope to be sent with our address on it and you can mail that gift in. Just give us a call and you can also of course give on the online bookstore on our website as a secure site. You can give a gift there.

Thank you again for being a partner with us and praying for Bibleline and we really do the max with what the word provides to us because we don’t pay any salaries. We send all this money right back out on the airways as we pay the bills for the satellite, for the phones and for the stations that were on and for the internet. And by the way, I just got correspondence yesterday off the internet from India, from Scotland pastor there trying to say that my blind is wrong correct me gently he was a gentleman about it he signed it with warmest greetings from from Scotland they probably need some heat over there to keep warm but we’ll see what the Lord has in store because we’re getting from all over the world from the Pacific Islands from Australia everywhere people are hearing a Bibleline which is

exciting. Well if you have your Bible there and get it out we’re going to talk about the scriptures and it’s amazing to me how people just don’t pay attention closely to detail or to even the words that they say. Somebody the other day just said it was all of grace and then in the next breath he said you have to basically walk with Jesus to go to heaven. Well those are conflictory statements, they don’t agree. You are saved by grace which means the absence of any works or any action on our part.

We simply are saved by receiving Christ. Chapter 4 verse 1 says, this is the book of Romans. Chapter 4 verse 1 says, what shall we say then that Abraham our Father as pertaining to the flesh hath found? Abraham, one of the great heroes of the Bible, what did he learn? What did he learn as concerning the flesh? Well it says in verse 2, if Abraham were justified by works, catch that phrase there. If Abraham were justified by works, he hath wear of the glory, but look at the last four words, but not before God, but not before God, but not before God.

Abraham learned that his works and his deeds would not bring glory for him before God. How was Abraham saved? Verse 3 gives us the answer. It says, what saved the scripture? And guess what? It quotes the scripture. We have a quote here from Genesis 15, 6. And here it is. Are you ready? Abraham believed God. And it was counted into him for righteousness. What a great verse. Abraham simply believed. He doesn’t say he believed in God, it says he believed God.

He believed what God told him. God gave him the gospel. Abraham believed on Christ. Abraham believed the gospel and was saved. His belief in his faith in Christ was kind of righteousness. Galatians 3.8 says the scriptures foreseeing that God would justify the nations through faith preached before the gospel under Abraham. You mean to say Abraham heard about Christ? Absolutely, not only that. Abraham got a look at Christ. Jesus says in John chapter 8 that Jesus had appeared to Abraham, Abraham saw him and rejoiced.

The Jewish audience that was listening says to Christ, you’re not even 50 years old, they looked at him and they knew. He was young, he was not yet 50 and they said, are you trying to tell us that you’ve seen Abraham? John 858 Jesus says Before Abraham was, I am. In other words, before Abraham was ever born, I existed from eternity past on the eternal God, the God of the universe, the God of creation, the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and of course Moses and so on.

What an amazing statement. Jesus Christ pre-existed all of these guys because he’s God. He exists the creation. He was there before. You know, it says in the beginning God, God was there before the beginning began. And Genesis 1-1, hope I didn’t lose you with that. But you know, Jesus Christ is God who came to the earth and took on human flesh and here it says in Romans 4-3, what’s saying in the scripture, Abraham believed God and it was counted in him for righteousness.

Abraham was made righteous. Abraham went to heaven simply because he trusted Christ. What is amazing here is this wonderful quote from Genesis 15-6 is quoted in three separate New Testament books. It’s quoted here in Romans chapter 4 and verse 3. It’s quoted in Galatians chapter 3 verse 6. And guess what most unlikely place you would think that it would ever be quoted? Genesis rather James chapter 2. That’s right. James chapter 2 where says Faith of that Works is dead.

in the middle of that, to make sure that you the reader understands what James is talking about. He’s not talking about Abraham’s salvation, but his Christian life and about rewards being earned by faith that does works. But right in the middle of the passage, James 2, 23, it quotes and says, Abraham believed God and it was Canada to him for righteousness. Abraham believed and was made righteous. Isn’t that great? Well, there it is. Now, verse 4 says in Romans 4 here, now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of death.

In other words, as long as you’re working, you’ll not have grace. And as long as you’re working, as far as salvation is concerned, you’re just going to have your debt increased because your works will not reduce the debt. Works won’t pay for sin. So therefore, whatever works you do, aren’t going to help you one bit, but you’ll still get further into the negative because your works won’t pay for sin. To him that worketh is the reward, not breaking of grace, but of debt.

If you really go down and pay off your credit cards with monopoly money, guess what? They might laugh. They might get a big tickle out of it, but you’re not going to reduce your debt. And if you charge anything else, or if you have late charges, your debt will increase won’t because monopoly money will not pay for your credit card bill. Guess what? Your works won’t pay for your sin, and as long as you don’t have your sins paid for you, continue as a human being related back to Adam with a sin nature to sin and therefore your debt increases.

But look at this marvelous verse in Romans 4 and verse 5 where it says, but to him that worketh not. to Him that works at that. That means doesn’t do a single work to someone who does not work at all. This and this amazing seed in your Bible, I just was shocked as a brand new believer to see this wonderful verse. And I said, that is incredible, but to Him that does not work, to Him that works at that.

But believe it, that means trust on Him, that is Christ, that He justified Him, Godly that’s us. His faith in Christ is kind of for righteousness. In other words, to the person who doesn’t work, but recognizes that Christ died for His sins and paid for Him and puts His trust in Christ. His faith in Jesus Christ is kind of for righteousness and He becomes saved. Isn’t that incredible? Let me read that verse again, but to Him that workedeth not.

I would believe it’s on him that justified him. God, let’s Jesus. His faith in Jesus is counted for righteousness. That’s the formula for salvation. It never changes in any part of the Bible. To be saved, number one, you have to recognize you cannot save yourself. I love the quote by Dr. MR. D’Hahn, the founder of the Radio Bible class. Many years ago he said, God will not save a man who is trying to be saved. Think about it. God will not save a man who is trying to be saved.

And then he continued by saying, but God will only save a man who is trusting to be saved. Did you get it? God will not save a man who is trying to be saved, but God will only save a man who is trusting to be saved. My friend, as long as you’re trying to save yourself, you will not be saved. You have to come to the place where you realize, I cannot save myself. I need a Savior. And you simply trust in the One who can save you, the Lord Jesus Christ.

And when you do, God saves you. Your faith in Christ is kind of a righteousness and it’s to the person who does not work at all. And I know most of Christianity teaches the opposite and you’re going to say, that’s not what my church teaches. Well guess what? Your church might be wrong. The Bible is right. You’re going to have to finally one day either agree with the Bible and trust Jesus alone to be saved, or you’ll find out in hell that you were wrong.

And maybe your church was wrong. I discovered that my church was wrong. The night I got saved, I saw Ephesians 2, 8, and 9. And verse 9 says, none of works. Salvation is not of works, let’s say you answered both. I’ll never forget in my mind that I said somebody’s wrong, somebody’s wrong, goodness sakes. Either my church is right and the Bible is wrong or the Bible is right and my church is wrong. I think you know which way I went.

I chose the Bible. And I’ve been often running ever since. My goodness, what a wonderful revelation to see what the Bible says to him that does not work Romans 4-5. But would believe or trust on Christ as Savior, the one who justifies them godly, his faith in Jesus is counted for righteousness. I’m Dr. Ankerman Strem. We’re going to go to the phone lines. We have lots of callers sitting there waiting, and we’re going to hopefully talk to you. The phone number is 1-800-576-3771.

That’s 1-800-576-3771. Our first call is in Green Grove, Florida. And I’m not really sure where Green Grove is, Who is big George welcome to Bibleline? Hey, thank you for taking my call. I enjoy your teaching. I listen to you every day. I have one question to start a Matthew. Seven twenty one. Okay. Now. Now everyone to do it, the will of the Father Is that the one about the will of father? Oh, no, that’s the one. That’s the one that says, not everyone that says, and to me, Lord Lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he that doeth the will of my father.

To me that sounds like works, but I know the Bible is a country diddery. I’m gonna hang up and listen to you on the radio. By the way, where is green cove? I would miss him there. Anyway, a lot of people get confused with that, but here’s the answer for that. And this is really good. The Bible is so good. The will of God for you to be saved is different than the will of God for you after you become saved.

The answer, one of the clear verses that I could point to that is the answer is John 640. Are you ready for this? John chapter 6 verse 40, and let me quote this wonderful verse to you where it says in John 640, almost there, this is the will of Him. Matthew 721 talks about the will of the Father. Here it says, this is the will of Him that sent me, that is the Father, that everyone would see if a son or acknowledges if a son is the better word and believeth on him may have everlasting life.

So the will of God for you as a lost person to become saved is to recognize who Christ is. That he is, you see him as God. It took on human flesh. He is the Messiah. He is the Savior, the Son of God. When you trust in him, it says here that you would have eternal life. Now after you become saved, the will of God is for you to live for him and serve him as a disciple. And that’s the second decision that every believer ought to make.

But we become saved by faith. Write that down, John 6.40. Maybe write it in the margin next to Matthew 7.21. The will of the Father is what gets you into heaven and God’s will for you to be saved is not the same as God’s will for you after you’re saved. be saved, his will is that you trust Christ. After your saved, his will is that you serve him and become a disciple and that brings about rewards. But we’re not saved by our service.

We’re saved to serve but not saved by serving. I hope you get the drift. Thank you so much, George, for calling in and we’re now going to go to John in Brooksville, Florida and John in Brooksville. Welcome to Bibleline John here. Yes, I’m Dr. Hank. I had a question about, we know that God created all things by him, up to him and through him. He spoke things into existence and was created for his light and his energy. He spoke it into existence.

However, about the timing of it, most Christians believe in special creation yet won’t allow for a lengthy period of time of sabbatian Genesis one one and one. to the gatberry. But could there have been a special creation of animals, let’s say dinosaurs before, and then Satan fell, the scripture say, and then there was a recreation, Tohu Vahbohu, that Hebrew phrase with man. And that would explain the length of time frame for that creation. A lot of them say, well, Sin did not enter until Adam, so therefore there couldn’t have been a creation beforehand.

That’s my question. That’s a good question. Of course the answer to that is that Sin didn’t enter the human race until Adam. He obviously was the first human and the first one. The Sin passed that down upon the whole human race. But Sin obviously began with Lucifer and his fall. in Ezekiel, it says that he was perfect until the liquid is found in him. So, iniquity came along before Adam. Obviously, Adam… Oh. came on after Satan was already fallen.

It doesn’t make any sense to see it any of the way. That we have a fallen Satan before Adam and Eve come on the scene. And when they come on the scene, he’s there aggressively wanting them to come under God’s curse as well. And so we believe that sin did exist. And the result of sin, the destruction of the Surth of Genesis 1, 2, was the result of Satan’s sin. And death came and death reigned. But it says Romans 5, Paul, which is the one they always appealed to, that this didn’t happen before Adam, but it doesn’t say that.

It says it was no death and there was no sin in the human race until Adam came along. How for time frame of say thousands or millions of years that it would lend itself to that you may be heading towards an evolutionary type of model. I think they’re panicked and I think they’re scratching for something else. Let me read that verse. Romans 4, 12 says, therefore as by one man sin in it into the world and death by sin, And so death passed upon all men.

That’s the point. Death existed before Adam, but it only passed upon men after Adam sinned and he brought sin into the human race. And that’s the verse they appealed to, but I don’t think they read it very carefully. Okay. Thank you very much. You’re most welcome. Thank you, John, for calling in. You seem to be a thinker. And I think that’s great. We’re going to go to Lester. And Lester is on all of that. Michigan and welcome from Michigan Lester Thank you.

Thanks for taking my call brother. I have a question on Jonah. You went over this about a week ago? Yes. And I know that J. Vernon McGee believed that Jonah died in the belly of a whale. And I believe that Jonah died in the belly of a whale. But which verse? How do we know for sure that Jonah died? Very easy. Because here it’s you have to look carefully now. He prayed two prayers. The first was in the belly He was still alive gagging and choking.

I’m sure on the fact of being submerged the second prayers in verse two of Jonah and It says here I cried by reason of my affliction under the Lord and he heard me and then it says out of the belly of hell The word hell there is shield and the only way to get the shield was to die That’s in the heart of the earth That’s the place that the part of dead and he went to paradise in the heart of the earth and God heard him out of the heart of the earth The word belly there in verse two is a different word in the Hebrew from the word belly in verse one the word belly in verse two means a hollow place.

The word belly in verse 1 where he prays out of the efficient belly is the word abdomen. He was completely different. Then of course later it says he brought up my life from corruption. When a person dies, their body goes through stages of corruption. God brought up his life from corruption and that’s a resurrection. Jonah was crucified in a sense, buried and resurrected. The perfect picture of Christ as he died was entombed in the Jesus’ belly. But he came back and went back into that body and resurrected.

He asked out on the shore to continue his mission. And we lost our caller. He gets the hang up to listen to the answer. And we’re now going to go to Ben in Zephyr Hills. And Ben, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Yes, hello. Good morning, Dr. Hank. You were preaching so good there. And your monologue, I thought you were getting ready to say, slap your neighbor and say you can’t be saved by worse. You like that. Well, I have actually a couple of comments and a question.

First of all, I wanted to chime in the other day. There seem to be a lot of collars about Jehovah’s Witnesses. And you did say something regarding not letting God speak. People that I do let them in my house want to try and win them to Christ. If you understand me, I’m not trying to elevate myself. Sure. Ben, can I hold you to the break because we’re working on a bread on break. Again, this is by the line. short break will come back into a second half hour.

We are listening to support it. If you are listening and you can help us, would you please maybe give a gift by credit card over the phone today or call and ask for an envelope to be sent. We’re going to take a break. We’ll come right back. Don’t go away. We’re going to finish up with them as soon as we get back from this way. And stay tuned right here. Don’t go away. Bibleline will be back in a moment.

Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Well, I’m Dr. Englund. Sure, man. It’s great to be with you. Thanks for tuning in today to the broadcast. It’s wonderful to be with you. God bless all of you who listen.

We appreciate our listening audience so much. and you’re the heroes that keep this program on the air as we come to you from Tampa, Florida, live from our studios here at the Calvary Community Church where I’m the pastor. Your prayers and your gifts keep my blind going. We could not do it without you. And I really do thank God for every one of you. And I thank you in advance for any gift that you might send in today or call in today as you can give a gift by credit card over the phone.

You can also call and ask for an outlook to be sent mail your gift in. You can also go to the Bible on website and on the online bookstore. There’s a place where you can give to Bible on it. And we’re excited about what God is doing through Bible on. We’ve just gotten email correspondence from India, from Scotland, from West Africa, from in the islands over in the Pacific, from Indonesia. It’s amazing to me, the people that are finding us and are writing in.

Last month, we had 1400 people that actually watched the 7-minute video at the beginning of my website. Have you seen that? Right as you begin on our website, you can bypass that, but there’s a 7-minute video that presents how to be saved. And by the way, 1400 people just last month viewed that. This is that amazing. We’ve had 30 something thousand people fail our Emma going to Heaven test at the beginning of our website and then come right back around and pass it.

So apparently we’re getting people saved at the rate of 30 or 50 a day just through the website quiz on how to go to Heaven. That’s really from the track that we have here available for you called Emma going to Heaven. You can get those tracks in quantities of 100 and and they’re powerful. They really lead a lot of people to Christ as they fail the quiz. They become curious as the, what is the right answer? And they learn that it’s Christ.

And they trust Christ and become saved. Why not you? Get some of those tracks and also of course I hope you realize that God is using Bible and in a mighty way. 154 countries have logged on and people are writing to us and corresponding and calling us from all over the world. And that’s exciting. And we’re looking forward to seeing the Lord do more if He carries and we wait much longer for Christ to come back. But I think we’re getting close.

I think the Lord is coming. I think there’s a sense of urgency, at least, that I feel that we need to do what we can do for Christ while we can do it. But all the time is still available to us because there’s a day when the Bible says you can’t work anymore. Once we leave this planet, we go to heaven, then You’ll look back and say I wish I had done more. I wish I had accomplished more. I wish I had to put more effort into it I wish I had invested a few more dollars into the Lord’s work to get the gospel out and Thank God for every one of you who do help us because your gifts and your prayers are deeply appreciated We got some wonderful notes here just in the past couple of days from people who listen and I really should read

some of these on the air there, blessing how much they appreciate Bible and what it has done for them. And wonderful emails about how the gospel became clear. People got saved and people are now moving forward with their Christian life as a result of hearing Bible. Well, we’ve got Ben who’s been holding on here and I know that Ben, we want to get right back to you. Thanks for being so patient with us. And then we’re back to you and let’s pick up where we were.

Yeah. Okay, let’s go back where we were and start again. Oh, okay, Dr. Hank. Thank you. And yeah, I was just mentioning about the Jehovah’s Day. Several comments the other day were folks were calling in about that and you were answering a lot of questions. And I said to you that I was one of those that I actually, I mean I do invite them into my house because I want to try to win them to Christ. But they are tough nuts to crack.

I believe it was Walter Martin that said that in about five minutes the average Jehovah’s Witness could turn the average Christian into a theological pretzel. And it’s true, they have a track that they run on, but I actually use their own relation, my case, for a Savior. And I know you’re the teacher, so I’m not going to take much time here. But in the book of Isaiah of Chapter Witness Bible, it says in verse 3, for I am Jehovah your God, though.

And there’s other verses in that chapter that talk about Jehovah being the Savior. And if you turn in their Bible to Acts, Chapter 4, a heaven that has been given among among men by which we must get saved. And speaking of Christ from verse 10, the thing that I use, and there’s lots of other ones. That’s a gem. I sure think you can share that one with me. I applaud you for what you’re doing. For most people, though, if they let them in their home, they’re going to be like you said, well, I’m marching to make them a little bit more than five minutes.

So they need to prepare a little bit before they take that on. Yes, sir. Well, I have a question for you on another subject, please. I wanted a confirmation, first of all, from 2 Timothy chapter 3, where the scripture form of godliness, but denying the power thereof from such a turn away. And then, of course, it goes on to say, you know, ever learning, never able to come to the form of godliness, but denying the power thereof and verse.

I take that as the power of the gospel. My charismatic friends try to tell me that that’s about talking about the Holy Ghost and I don’t believe that it means that. I believe that it means the power of the gospel. I am 100% reworn with you there. I would take Romans 1 16 where it says I’m pulsed. I’m not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. If the gospel is the power of God. Yes, sir. I have that written down in my margin.

I wrote it down myself. But that’s what I believe. So you would confirm that. Absolutely. I believe that’s exactly what it’s talking about. And one other question, I don’t have the reference here, but where it talks about Jesus in one of the gospels baptize you with the Holy Ghost. You are baptized into the body of Christ, but my charismatic friends try to tell me that that is some special prayer of some other event. So if they’re going to have something, could you please answer that for me?

I’m going to hang up now and listen. All right. Thank you Ben and Zevreel’s for to. that is hell. And the subject is offered the baptism of fire and I think they really can deliver on that because their message will take you to hell if you obviously are going to trust and works and things that you can do to be saved rather than Christ. But you’ll notice in the very verse Matthew 3 11 is where it’s found. That dies when the Holy Ghost and with fire.

So everybody gets baptized by Christ either with the Holy Spirit which means you’re saved and you’re placed in the body of Christ. The other is the baptism of fire which is what happens to the lost and Christ is the baptizer there as well. And you’ll notice the answers there clearly told in verse 12, whose fan is in his hand and he will thoroughly purge his floor and gathers wheat into the goner but he’ll burn up the chafe with unquenchable fire.

The unquenchable fire there I believe as hell and the unsaved are the chafe and They’ll be baptized. The picture there is of a threshing floor. I’ve seen these in Israel. Even to this day, you’ll see some that’s still far in that primitive way. They’ll gather the grain by hand. They’ll bring it to the threshing floor. They’ll have usually an animal tread on that floor and walk around and kind of break the grain loose. But then they have a guy that will kind of take a pitchfork and throw the grain up in the air.

And if the wind is blowing good, it’ll blow away the air. unwanted chafe and the heavy grain will fall straight to the floor and is harvested. But if there is no wind, then you’ve got a guy that has a fan and he’ll be blowing with that big fan. He’ll up and down motion wave this big fan. And then the other guy is throwing the wheat up in the air with his pitchfork and the wind created blows the chafe away.

Well, Christ will have the fan in his hand. Christ will clearly purge the floor of any unsaved and they’ll be baptized by Christ with unquenchable fire which is hell. I think Matthew 3, 11, and 12 make that very clear that you got an option here no matter who you are, what you believe or where you go to church, you’ll need to be baptized by Christ with fire which means you’ll go to hell or you trust Christ and your baptized with the Holy Spirit and placed into the body of Christ.

We’re going to go now to Chattanooga, Tennessee. We’re going to want to replace the visit. We have Laura on the phone. Laura, welcome to Bibleline. You’re welcome to the program today. Dr. Lindstrom. Yes, Laura. I’m Laura Halfak of from Chattanooga, Tennessee. Yes, ma’am. I would like for you to explain verse 16 and 17 in verse John chapter 5. We’ll hang up and listen to you, answer. I’m glad you’re listening up there and chat a new God. Thank you. All right.

And first John chapter 5, beginning verse 16, it talks here about a sin unto death and how that we’re not to pray for somebody who’s committed that sin because our prayers will not change it. It’s basically where a Christian commits a sin where God will take him home early to heaven because of that sin. Moses committed that sin in the Old Testament instead of speaking to the rock he smoked the rock for the second time What was the picture there Christ is only to be spent once at the cross to pay for our sins and Here Moses smites Christ a second time and Jesus will never be spent in a second time He was spitting for our sins on the cross and Peter sinned out and full and here Moses because he He violated what God told him to do.

And apparently, smoke Christ again, or crucified him again is what the picture is. God decided to take him home to heaven early. He died still youthful, even though he was 120 years of age. His eyesight was 20-20. He had full strength. If you read Exodus 34, it tells about it. But yet the Lord let him view the Promised Land from the top of Mount Pishkob stood there where Moses stood and viewed the province by the court across the Jordan Valley, across the Jordan River.

And there the Lord took his life and apparently has preserved his body to come back as he will preach again during the tribulation period as one of the two prophets. But that was the sin and the death. And nice and safari committed that sin in Acts 5 by lying about their giving and the Lord smoked them and took them home to heaven early. The man in 1 Corinthians 5 who was living in adultery with his mother, the Lord took him home and yet it says his spirit would be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

If you look at 1 Corinthians 10, 23, it talks about 23,000 Christians taking home in one day because of sin. 1 Corinthians 11, 30 talks about because of the Corinthians not getting their life right with the Lord as a Christian. This is for this cause in 1st Corinthians 1130, many of your sick, many of your weekly and many of your dead. So the Lord took a lot of people home to heaven early and that sin and the death will not prevent your death if that happens.

So hopefully that answers the question for you and I thank you, Laura, for listening up there in Chatterney. I believe we’re on there four times a day. We’re on at 10 in the morning, 4 in the afternoon, 10 at night, and 4 in the morning. And thank you, all of you folks up there in the Cheddar N’Hoo, who listen in. We’re now going to go to James in Tampa for it, and James, welcome to Bibleline Your Own Ear.

How did you read that? I’m very familiar with it. Luke 14 is talking about the Christian life. What is interesting here is that the word in the Greek is a comparative term and it doesn’t really mean a term. really mean that you hate your father and your mother. in contrast to your love for the Lord, your love for others should be hatred and contrast and that’s what it’s really saying here. So you’re not to hate anybody, you love your enemies but the word there is a contrast of word and it really means and if you have the skill field Bible it points that out here it says at the bottom of the page of my skill field all terms which define emotions or Perfections are Comparative and it says here natural affection is to be as Compared with the believers devoted to Christ as Hatred so our love for

Christ ought to be number one and it ought to be Such a love for Christ that our love for others would be in contrast considered to be hatred So hopefully that helps you with that one and apparently he’s already hung up and so we’re gonna move on Now to Don in treasure island on welcome to Bibleline your own yet. Well done And I don’t hear Don either so Let me try something else here. We’re gonna go to Know well in St.

Petersburg. No, welcome to I one. Oh Yes, sir What happened I’m concerned about an annoying sense of fire The reason why I said I don’t believe I don’t know if they were to believe it because he just said to them You did not lie on to my and to man, but I’m for God So it means that they weren’t they with the Holy Spirit would you say?

Yeah, I’m right here. They were saved and they were Christians and they were Giving money in a solar property and then they lied about how much of the property the proceeds from the sale that they gave and as a result the Lord smoked them and took their life. But they were saved and we’re going to see them in heaven one day and of course they’ll be ashamed for what they did there, but definitely they are saved people. So in a sense you ought to feel sorry that they were in embarrassment to the Lord and Lord had to take them out, but at the same time rejoice in that they are saved and now with the Lord in heaven.

Thank you so much. We now have Renee and Renee in Tampa, Florida. It’s calling in Renee. Welcome to Bibleline. Hey, how are you Dr. Lindstrom? This is Rening. I have got a question. At one point in time, do you believe Moses was saved in his experience? Well, I believe you saved probably when he was about 40, maybe just before that. He was, you know, he decided that he was going to serve the Lord and choose to live for God’s people.

And he took it into his own hands there and he killed an Egyptian and buried him in the sand and uh… then of course he was banished for forty years it was until he was eighty the guy actually brought him back to leave the children there’s a lot of Egypt but he must have been saved at that point so i think it that uh… moses got saved right around when he was forty years of age just prior to his killing that Egyptian i think somewhere right in there he came to know the world is the savior thank you really now we’re going to go back to dawn and on is in treasure island don welcome the bible a hello pastor hey i was so happy to hear this gentleman a few minutes ago saying that uh…

he was inviting joe with witnesses a couple of days ago or a week well let me know let me just say a word here because actually the word and it doesn’t really mean that it means you’re not to invite him the word there means In your fellowship. So let’s say you vitamin your home and you let them preach to your family. That’s a no no no no no no no and if you invite them into your church fellowship and you let them preach from your pulpit.

That’s a no no no no no no I would be greatly negligent as a pastor if I let a Joe’s witness come up and preach their doctrine for my pulpit. I think God would strike me down but as a father in us and a home and you are the spiritual leader you wouldn’t want them to come in and preach their doctrine to your family. as well. So that’s what it’s really talking about. But if you invite him into witness to him and you don’t give him the platform to preach their doctrine but you’re telling them how to be saved or right on.

So I just wanted to clarify that so that we get this all straight because the questions keep coming up in this because I’ve got a little confusion about what it’s saying there. But the word house there means really your household or your fellowship, whether it be your personal family or whether it be the church. We’ll remiss if we let them preach to us their false office i’m glad to hear you say that uh… but i thought i might want to pass on to your listeners something that might be helpful to them i like to ask them to be very normally they’re very familiar with certain passages in their bible to show that uh…

that the jesus is not your whole body is created by the whole so i normally i i like to ask them i said you know there’s some things in a bible i don’t understand i wonder if you could help me would use your bible but there are some things I wonder if you could help me out with. Revelation 1, 8, for example, I don’t understand that. And then when they turn and it says, I am the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end, I go, where’s that?

They said, well, that’s Jehovah. They owe thank you for clearing that up for me. And in Revelation 21, 6, I don’t understand that either. And it says there, it is done. I am the alpha, the omega, the beginning and the end. I said, who is that? And they’ll say, that’s Jehovah again. That’s not so hard. That’s all. Thanks for clearing that up. And then in Revelation 22, 13, it says, I am the Amal Alpha, the Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Is that Jehovah again? Absolutely. You’re beginning to catch on. Oh, you guys are great for helping me out. And I have one more question for you. In Revelation 1, 18 and 19, it says, and I am either live it, excuse me, in 17 and 18, I am the first and the last. Is that Jehovah again? Oh, yes, that’s Jehovah. And then it continues. I am he that liveth and was dead and behold, I am alive forevermore. And when did Jehovah die?

And you’ll hear the greatest, a pause and silence. I’ve got to get back to Kingdom Hall, but I’ll get back to you. And you never hear from them again. So I don’t know if that’s doing any good or not but it’s certainly and all memory techs that they’ve prepared to show that a jesus is not jojoba excellent on that’s very good and obviously jesus is the uh… alphany may be he is the beginning the end is the first last and uh…

he is therefore the same god is that of the old testament and uh… these people are really blinded and uh… it’s very difficult to reach about because why they run back to the kingdom hall to get an answer or to be told that they’re okay that they’re say that the hands of the kingdom i just wish they would come back but they know i know i know i know i i i understand exactly feel that i i think you have to be tough on them a little bit because you’re gonna shake them up a little better though i think that they’re okay and what they believe in that sad that they are lost and i like to say they’re Jehovahless and they’re godless for you know first Good.

First John 2 23. If you deny the son, you don’t have the father. So they’re, they’re Jehovahless. And in second John verse nine, they’re, if they don’t buy it in the doctrine of Christ, they don’t have God. So they’re Godless as well. I think that shakes them up a little bit too. But Don, great job. Thank you for sharing that. Thank you, pastor. All right. Don in the treasure island. And we get some good witnesses out there that are doing a good job.

And we thank you for Ben and for Don who are trying to win witnesses to Christ and they are tough but they can be one to Christ. We have Anne in Lakeland Florida and welcome to Bibleline you’re on here. Yes, Mr. Lancelot, yes, given a CD from a friend and the CD is about a lady Mary came back that Jesus took her to hell and you know revealed a lot of things to her. Is that possible? No, let’s do that.

No, that’s not possible at all and if she ever went to hell she’d never come back. First of all, nobody’s in hell as yet. So she’s wrong theologically because Satan and his angels, Matthew 24, captured rather 2541 says that hell was created for the devil and his angels. All the loss of mankind are still in Hades, a place of flame and torment, and when the and the millennium is over and Satan is finally cast into hell in Revelation 20 verse 10.

That it says Hades will deliver the deadwitcher in it and they’ll be cast into the lake of fire. So It’s she went to hell she would have beat Satan there. That’s certainly not possible and she’s totally wrong. So That’s a fabrication and boy. It’s amazing today how many false things are coming up. I See well she goes into detail how Jesus took her and what she saw demons and everything and she says Jesus person I’m like, I’m supposed to, I’m like, would Jesus do that?

Well, she’s wrong, because the demons aren’t there yet, and they won’t be cast in until after the thousand year reign of Christ, and Satan’s not there, and hell is empty. So if it was a true account, she would see an empty hell. Now, Hayes is a different ballgame, but she obviously has her theology back. Next up, I would not listen to her anymore. OK. Thank you, and we’re out of time. I have another caller or two and we got questions off here, but we’re just at the end of the program.

It’s going so quickly sometimes and we’re having fun. I hope you’ll tune us in again tomorrow. I hope again that you’ll consider being a partner with us.
