And tonight we are having the first in our series on 2nd Peter. 2nd Peter. Peter is a book where Peter warns us about false teachers. Guess what? They apparently got the message because they hate Second Peter. Most liberal theologians hate Second Peter. Satan hates Second Peter. It’s an exposé on him and lots of doctrines are covered.

We’ll be starting that wonderful series tonight at 7. And if you are in the area, we invite you to come and join the class. It’s a $50 charge which will help my mind, but that’s only $5 for class hour when you stretch it out over the five weeks now where we’ll do five weeks at two hours per night. And oftentimes people are fighting these are great to facilitate a Bible study, a Sunday school class, a home study, or a personal study, or just using your car to and fro from work and to take a venture at time to learn God’s Word.

We’re going to go back to Israel and we’ve been talking about a scenario where we would have an option that would leave and fly to Cairo, Egypt.

There we would see the pyramids. There’s about a dozen of them and we’ll see the main three plus others but we’ll perhaps be able to go inside the great pyramid. We’ll actually open up into the center of the pyramid into the Pharaoh’s chamber where his body once lay. Also, we will be able to see the Sphinx that you often read and hear about and many other things that are right there on the desert sands right outside of Cairo. We’ll see the Cairo Museum.

We’ll stay in a luxurious five-star luxury hotel on the Nile River in on an island that’s right in downtown Cairo in the middle of the Nile River. We’ll probably take a Nile dinner cruise and enjoy the lights on the Nile and enjoy a wonderful meal as we do a dinner cruise on the Nile. We’ll be driving to a lot the vacation city for Europe where people come to scuba dive and jet ski and water ski and just enjoy the wonderful sunshine and clear waters of the Red Sea.

And we’ll be staying there. We’ll also go to Petra in southern Jordan, see the place where the Jews will flee from the Antichrist, 40 square miles of Rock City in southern Jordan and you’ll find that incredible. And then of course we’ll come back to a lot and then we’ll motor up to Israel and you’ll find that our group that doesn’t choose the option will be arriving from America and we’ll join up and we’ll spend the rest of time together as one big group touring Israel.

So love to have you go with me. It’ll be trip number 16 for me. Love to have you go and be a part of that call. Give us your name and let us be able to keep you informed as we develop our plans. We’re going to go to Revelation 12, Revelation 12, and here we read about what will happen to Israel during the tribulation period. It says here, and there appeared a great wonder or sign in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet and upon her head a crown of twelve stars. Guess what? We would know what that was talking about unless we read the book of Genesis. That’s right. You know, when you read the book of Revelation, some people are like, I don’t understand it.

Well, guess what? It’s like reading the last chapter in a math book. And if you haven’t read the previous chapters, nothing, there’s probably going to make a whole lot of sense. But if you go back to the book of Genesis, you might be reminded of a story where Joseph dreamed a dream about the Sun and the Moon and twelve stars. And in his dream, the Sun and the Moon and eleven stars bowed down to the twelve star and guess what?

It was talking about himself and how that his father and his mother and his eleven brothers would bow down before him. And of course that was fulfilled when he was sold in Egypt and became second only to Pharaoh and we find that when famine came, Joseph becoming second to Pharaoh and having stored up during the seven fat years was able to ration food out during the seven lean years and here comes his father and his mother, his eleven brothers and they bow down before him as he acted on behalf of the Pharaoh and he provided food for them.

Well, this is talking therefore about Israel! And notice it says here, she being with child cried Treveiling in birth and pain to be delivered. That talks about Israel would bring about the Messiah. Wow, the nation of Israel would bring about a child that would be God in flesh for Lord Jesus Christ who would die to pay for the sins of the world. And you’ll notice here it includes Satan and it says, and there appeared another wonder in heaven. Behold a great red dragon having seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns upon her, upon his heads.

And guess what? Right in the same chapter we have the answer. It says the great dragon was cast out but old serpent called the devil and Satan which deceived the whole world. So here we have Satan being the one that is the dragon. And it says here, and his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven. That’s clearly talking here about a third of the angels became Satan’s and they tried to overthrow heaven and God and God did cast him down to the earth and the dragon or Satan stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered for the devour her child as soon as it was born.

Most people don’t realize that Satan was behind the killing of all the children in Bethlehem when Christ was born. He was… He was sitting there waiting, couched, ready to take an opportunity to kill Jesus Christ, the Messiah, the Savior of the world. And obviously here Satan was couched. It says here, stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, that’s Israel. And we find here he was ready to devour that child as soon as it was born. And that’s what Satan tried to do.

He tried to get rid of Jesus Christ before he could ever go to Calvary and pay for our Israel, according to the next verse, Revelation 12.5 says, she brought forth a man-child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. If you read the second psalm, it talks about Jesus and how he would come, he would be called the son of God and that he would actually rule over the nations of the earth with a rod of iron.

In other words, he’ll have total control over the earth and the earth will be at peace during his reign, a thousand year earthly reign of peace on earth, good will toward men that will happen. And I believe in the near future, if the rapture were to happen this year, seven years from this year, then Christ would come back in all of His glory at the second coming to establish His kingdom, and this earth would be at peace under His rule.

This is the manchild. But notice it says here, this manchild, her child was caught up in the God and to his His throne speaks about his rejection and his ascension back to heaven where Christ is now seated in heavenly places on the right hand of the Majesty on high. So Jesus went back to heaven. Then we have, I believe here, a gap in time between verses 5 and 6 and now we leap to what’s going to happen during the tribulation period and the woman that’s Israel fled into the wilderness.

I believe this wilderness place is the Rock City of Petra in southern Jordan, where it says Israel has a place prepared of God that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and three score days that’s three and a half years. Right after the rapture, Israel of course will be functioning in the land and have a relative time of peace. But midway, halfway through, the Antichrist will turn against Israel and Israel will flee into the wilderness, into Petra.

And we’re going to get to visit that on this coming trip. What an exciting place to go. And there Israel will be miraculously fed by God, just as he did once before in the wilderness with manna, and water right out of the rock. You know, Petra is such an interesting place. You can only enter it by a narrow canyon that’s very, very narrow. And as you go down through the canyon, many times you can either walk it or you can ride a horse.

I remember many times sitting on my horse and looking straight up. There you would see the canyon walls rising up two to three hundred feet and just a narrow ribbon of blue above your head where you can see the sky. As you wander through this canyon about three miles long, all of a sudden it opens up and there you see buildings carved right out of the rock. The first one you see is called the Treasury. It’s incredible. By the way, one of the Indiana Jones films was filmed in Petra.

It’s called the Rose Red City of Petra. The beautiful rock formations are a beautiful color and they’re just as a beautiful place. And guess what? God has provided natural air conditioning for the Jews when they flee there in this desert region because inside all these caves where there are homes to provide enough space for all the Jews who will flee there. and it’s a natural about 70 degrees year round. Wow, that wonderful. And you know all it takes is the Jewish people to move in.

And as far as food and water, God will provide that like he once did before in the wilderness. Isn’t that exciting? I believe that we’re getting close. And Petra was undiscovered to the world for nearly 2,000 years. It wasn’t until about In 1850, a British archaeologist named Burkhardt reading about this place rediscovered it to the world. He joined a traveling caravan of Bedouin Arabs and risking his life, not letting them know what he was really after, traveled with them and sure enough, they went right through Petra and he rediscovered it to the world.

There’s a Roman amphitheater there. Here is all kinds of beautiful buildings carved right out of the rock and it’s 40 square miles of buildings carved out of the rock. Unheavited for 2,000 years and here it’s ready. The church people to go to let me read that verse again verse six. It says where Israel will flee into the wilderness where she has a place prepared of God a place prepared of God a place prepared of God that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and three score days.

That’s three and a half years. That’s exactly the length of time of the last half of the tribulation period when the Jewish people will be kept safe there from the hands of the end of Christ. I don’t know about you, but I’m excited. I think we’re living in the the last days and we’re close to when the Lord will come back. I don’t know a date. I’m not a date setter, but I’m a watcher. I’m looking for Christ to return.

How about you? Jesus said 23 times in the four gospels to watch for His coming. If we are not watching as a Christian, we’re delinquent. I’ve had some people tell me from some churches, oh, we don’t watch. We’re not looking. We don’t know when He’s going to come back and we’re not looking, well obviously they’re delinquent because Jesus commands us 23 times in the gospels to be looking, to be watching. And guess what? One of the five crowns that a believer could earn is simply for looking for and watching for Christ to return.

It would seem that would be a piece of cake for anyone. I’ve been watching ever since I got saved and I’m excited about the fact that Christ is returning and I believe I’m going to get that the crown, because there is a crown given to those who watch and are looking for living in the expectancy of Christ’s soon return. I hope you have trusted Jesus as your Savior, salvation is a gift. It is received by faith when you trust Christ as your Savior and possess forever thereafter.

Wow, it is free. There is nothing you can do. Nothing you can do. You save when you TRUST Christ that is death and shed blood at the cross is the only means of your salvation. You’re not saved by asking Christ, giving your life to Christ. You’re not saved by joining the church. I can go on and on and on. Amazing to me. How many people use bad phrases, and I’m talking about people that ought to know better, are in pulpits telling the congregation to ask Jesus into their heart no such thing in the Bible.

That is absolutely fabricated and there’s no verse that says that. There’s no verse that says you give your heart or give your life to Christ to be saved. All of that is fabricated by man, totally false, nothing in the Bible about that. There’s only one way to be saved. Believe on the word Jesus Christ and also be saved. The word believe means to trust. When you trust that he died for you and shed his blood, God will save you.

We’re living in a day when people are not careful. They just repeat phrases and listen to what other people say and they’re not checking out what their Bible says. And one day, obviously, that could mean the difference between heaven and hell. Unless you get it right from the Bible, you will one day be embarrassed because you will have missed what God has offered you salvation through faith in Christ alone. A gift received at the moment you believe. We’re going to go to the phone lines.

Where in the Bible does it talk about in the last day in that you have not been able to differentiate between the summer and the winter this spring and the summer. Well I don’t know exactly says that but I know that the Antichrist will attempt to change the times of the seasons and that’s back in the book of Daniel and he will see if I can find that verse real quick here.

Daniel, let’s see here. This is going to be in chapter 7 of Daniel in verse 25 where it says he will think to change these things but he obviously can’t. But no doubt the weather changes today. I think are part of what’s going on in the world. And obviously this week we had, you know, whatever we mess with Israel, there’s a blessing for those who bless Israel, or curse Israel, our Secretary of State was in Israel and reprimanded the leaders there and told them what to do.

And guess what? We had tornadoes sweep all across America yesterday on the same day she did that. I think we’ve got to be careful what we say to Israel because God is listening. I’m going to get noticed and I’m sorry I didn’t mean interrupted. With the heavenly bodies moving out into different positions, this would naturally cause a change in the season because it would be effective. Amen. Well, we don’t know, but I expect that we have a lot of things that are going to be changing here and we’re already seeing it.

Yarnia, go ahead Mary. What is the federal reserve, our government giving more control of our financial markets over to the federal reserve for that? Oh, it gives them absolute police powers. They can go in and regulate any company and examine their books and tell them how to do business.

The Federal Reserve is not a private company. Pretty much run by major bankers in other countries. It’s not even us. I think this is scary and we’re definitely seeing in time events taking place here where obviously we’re going to come under control of those who can control everythingandom we do. Yeah, and most people don’t even realize that they’re not a federal agency. No, they’re not. The Federal Reserve is a private organization and most of those people that are in it are not even in this country.

So here we’re giving America away and giving them absolute police powers over our marketplace. Amazing. They appreciate your ministry. Well thank you Mary and keep listening. We’re just watching things unfold that the Bible said so many thousands of years ago and It’s kind of a thrilling moment to be living. And of course, if you don’t know the Lord, this would be frightening, I think, to see the things that are coming on this earth. And it says in Luke 21, that men’s hearts will fail and prefer for looking after those things which are coming on the earth.

And well, I tell you, if I didn’t know the Lord, I think I would really be very, very distraught at this point. Yes. And even knowing it’s gonna end, it still is depressing. Well, absolutely. It is really is. Because I love America and I hate to see what’s happening in America happen and we’ve really departed away from God and look at the results and the headlines every day. If you wonder why we have problems in our schools and with our youth and with crime, it’s because we got rid of God in the Bible and we’re paying a price for that.

First question is, is his adopters, you want to call him Mother, the pulled him out of the… Did he get saved at the end and wound up going with him for the speech? Also, why did his brother and sister get upset with him for marrying his wife as he was banished out of Egypt?

Why did they get upset with him for marrying a woman in the man that I hang up with Mr. Sten? Okay, well anyway, I don’t know that the Pharaoh’s, the princess there who adopted Moses, ever got saved or not, and we’d like to think that she would have, but I don’t know the answer to that. And of course, we have a brother and a sister to Moses that was Miriam and also the brother that became the one who made the golden calf when Moses went up into the mountain.

Aaron was the brother of Moses and they had some disagreements there obviously and Aaron and obviously aired in making that golden calf. And I’m not too sure exactly why. Let me say goodbye to Miami. Miami is on the air with us every day and we are excited about that. And we have Miami signing off a little before the other stations do. So we always like to say, Miami, we appreciate you then. I want to know from you, if this is Dr. Wright. Yes, ma’am. I want to know why you go to church all the time and all the church they tell me that I’m supposed to go to a church where the preachers preach them out of the Bible. So when we go, we don’t hear that. And all of them tell you different things. They don’t tell you the right things. That’s what I’m trying to say. and crack, raise from the dead.

All of a sudden I go to take the same thing that he rolls on a Sunday morning. I don’t understand that. Well, it tells me that the preachers are not studying their Bibles. And you know, I’ve talked to many who graduated from seminary and they don’t really, they’re not really taught the Bible when they go to seminary. They’ve taught everything else, the tools, but never how to really interpret the Bible. So they really are in the dark. And in all these schools raise questions about the Bible and leave them in a state of almost unbelief.

And it’s too bad. It’s a part of the end times where Satan’s masterpiece is not the drunken, the gutter. But it’s a preacher who can mislead people because he’s been misled by the school where he was trained. Right. Long time ago, right? Long years ago, it’s just something that has been just gone from one generation and keeps on going. It said hold on here. I’m going to have to go to break right now and we’ll come back to you.

And then we’ll go into Jordan and see the Rock City of Petra where the Jews, people will hide and flee from the Antichrist during the tribulation period and be fed by God there miraculously for three and a half years with bread and or manna and water as he wants to before in the wilderness And then we’ll go to a lot again and back on up into Israel and meet the group that will be flying in from the US just to do the Israel portion.

I don’t want anybody to not come into the class because of money, but we do want to try to help Bible and through teaching the class. Nothing’s decided yet, but it looks like we might break it into a trip of all Israel with an option to go first before Israel to Egypt and Jordan. And downbound Cairo will get a chance to cruise on the Nile River. We get to visit the pyramids in the Cairo Museum, which has the treasures of King Tut and other wonderful treasures. 100,000 artifacts will never get to see them all in one trip, but we’ll then motor on up to a lot on the Red Sea and enjoy that beautiful resort city. We’ll get to travel into Petra in Southern Jordan and see the Rock City where the Jews will flee from the Antichrist, and then we’ll drive into Israel and meet the group that will be arriving from the states that are gonna do Israel only.

So, a lot of choices there for you. And we’ll make our mind up here. We’ll send, so we wanna get your input and get your name on the list as those that might be interested. I just had a, it’s not so much a question I guess.

I’m like very, you know, I’ve been listening for a while, you know, get interested in the discussion. So, so basically the guy and there was the guy on the clock with having said that you’ll be with me and paradise that’s exactly right so you know that that’s the basic Dr. you know what I I guess I guess the definition I I guess I say I accepted it in my heart But I know I just came out to me just saying yes Jesus is God.

It’s it with that time of my life I could see invited me to church. I guess I understand the Bible until I believed it Which is like I accepted it is true. I learned more and more new things all the time. My question is, I guess there was something in Philippians. I was reading that Paul sort of wanted the church to more or less, it was almost a path to see though to say that your actions don’t matter. Could you just elaborate on that?

I tend to find myself wanting to be more obedient but also, So struggling with, say, the Mormon, the Jehovah Witness, and cult kind of things, because I keep telling him, well, it’s not about work. You know, you got to accept price, you got to be born again, and it’s not of the… Answer that Thank you. After we’re saved, obviously God wants us to be witnesses. He wants us to be light. And in fact, one of the verses that people bring up and misunderstand is it says in verse 12 of Philippians 2, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

And it doesn’t say work for, but it says work out, which means that we are to display the salvation that we’ve received by faith. It says in verse 13 of chapter 2, for it is God which worked in you, both the will and the do of his good pleasure. So we are to obviously display the salvation that we received and God holds in us and we are to let it be seen outwardly. It says here that we should do all things without murmuring and disputing.

Verse 15 that you may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God without rebuke in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation among whom, and here it is, among whom you shine as rights in the world. So we are to be light, we are to be witnesses, we are to be sharing the truth as you are doing with cults and other people. And it says the way we do that, the way we become a light is verse 16 holding forth the word of life, that is the word of God.

share with people the Word of God, which is the Word of life. It brings life to people that are spiritually dead. When they understand the gospel message and trust Jesus as their Savior, they become saved and they become saved eternally. And so, Anthony, yes, after we’re saved, it’s important that we live for Christ not to be saved, but because we are saved and how that God will bring about blessing and and rewards, and obviously we’ll be reaching others with this wonderful message.

Obviously, how can we keep our mouths shut when there are people going to hell who don’t know what we know about salvation through Christ? And if they would only receive that message in trust Christ, they could be assured and know that they’re saved and know they’re going to heaven, and obviously it would affect their life and their families and the people that they will encounter throughout their whole life’s journey. So good question and no doubt about it. I believe that every believer ought to be a light, ought to be a witness, ought to be a testimony.

And the way we behave in what we do is how we are able to display that message to the lost about us as we are lights in the dark world that we live in. And we become a light by holding forth the word of life, the scriptures and let people know what the Bible has to say. Thank you for that call Anthony and we appreciate that. We’re now going to go to Matthew and Matthew is calling in from Spring Hill, Florida and Matthew. Welcome to Bible on you on the air. Hey, good morning, Dr. Hank. I have a question. Got me to Israel. National, Enoch or religious or what? Well, it’s really the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. This seed of Israel that is still around to this day has been promised, earthly promises, and that Christ would come back and become their king and that they would have a, well, they would actually…

He’s going to have Christ ruling in Jerusalem over them as their king over the horde, as king of kings, and these promises have never been rescinded. What is interesting is that we have those who believe in replacement theology, that Israel got kicked off the horse and the church is mounted on the church, on the horse down, and is going to ride it all the way out to the end. That’s not true. The church is going to be raptured out, and then God will return to Israel and His plan for them.

Let me just read to you a passage in Jeremiah, which everybody I’ll take a look at is Jeremiah 31, 35, and it says, Thus saith the Lord, which given the sun for a light by day and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for light by night, which divided the sea when the waves there are broad, the Lord of Host is his name. If those ordinances depart from a forming saith the Lord, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from be a nation before me forever.

So those as long as that sun comes up in the morning, you can know that God is not through with the seed of Israel and that God has plans to carry out His promises, which I think are already in the works here. The Jewish people are back in the state of Israel. Once the rapture happens, boom, things will change instantly and we’ll be back on Jewish territory and God will use the Jewish people again as His witnesses as He did prior to the church age and that’s why you have 144,000 Jewish men doing the witnessing during the tribulation period and the focus will be Israel and Jerusalem and it’s in the news right now.

Obviously Israel is constantly in the news and I think this is only an anticipation of what God is going to do with Israel during the tribulation. Okay, so then after the rapture then is that saver of God extended to all Israelites or only Israelites who have faith in God? No, they have to trust the Lord of Savior obviously and a lot of Jewish people are going be slaughtered, there will be another holocaust. The Antichrist is going to come against the Jews.

And as we mentioned in the first part of the program that a large number will flee to southern Jordan and there be hidden for the last three and a half years of the tribulation. But according to Bible prophecy, two-thirds of the Jews in the state of Israel are going to be slaughtered. And nine-tenths of the Jews around the world will be slaughtered. the believing Jews who read the instructions as to what to do will flee and find safety in Petra in southern Jordan.

So God will preserve them but they’re going to go through a very rough time as he purifies them and gets them ready for their king to come back and rule over them. But the believing Jews will survive. Okay, so that would be considered the remnant then? Yeah, exactly. When the dead who are on Christ will, that one of the dead who are on Christ? Yes. Okay, does that mean that does that win all the church and bodies? That is exactly right.

Okay, do the saints, the Old Testament, get their bodies at that time? No. Or do they already have them? Nope, they don’t get theirs until the 2nd coming or 7 years later. So I’m going to get my resurrection body 7 years ahead of Noah, Daniel, Abraham and all of those guys. Okay, and then after the after the rapture is a tribulation. And then at the end of the tribulation is that that’s the 2nd coming and is that the beginning of the battle of my farm again?

that’s when i’m again happens in christmas back and and uh… innocent into the war and defeats the nations of this world and takes over the planet britain all right at the take care of was that you and spring hillward i have bob in new port richry bob welcome to buy one year on the air yes good morning and i just wanted to ask you a question about three months ago on your show that you were talking about the you know some of the heretical teachings of the uh…

home catholic charash and now behind the phrase that the uh… catholic masses on scriptural well because the catholic mass is the uh… offering of a crisis in the paper for sin it’s uh… obviously repeated sacrifice or incremental salvation but from mass to mass uh… if you read the catechism which i have one with a few feet of me it says What is the sacrifice of the Mass? And the answer is in the Nacadakism, the Mass is the unbloody sacrifice of Jesus Christ again to pay for sin.

Then the next question is, is the Mass the same sacrifice as that of Calvary? And the Nacadakism says that the Mass is the same sacrifice as that of Calvary. So it’s the offering of Jesus Christ again to pay for sin. He says, by the will of God we are sanctified to the offering of the body of Jesus Christ, once for all. all over the world all the time and that is a blasphemy because Christ died once. If you read Hebrews, especially chapter 9 and 10, it says, by one offering he hath perfected forever those that are sanctified and says, by the will of God we are sanctified to the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

And this verse 12 of Hebrews 10 says, this man after he goes… offered one sacrifice for sins forever. So the one sacrifice that he made was sufficient to pay for everybody’s sins that were passed, that is prior to the cross, and for everybody who would ever live in the future thereafter. And when we trusted what happened at the cross, we’d become saved. But to say we have to repeatedly go back and get our sins caught up every time the Mass is offered on the One in the 10 is craziness.

That’s totally foreign to of the Bible. Any of you like free information that you could send me like a newsletter or a paper about, you know, the other way. Absolutely. Things about the Catholic Church. Absolutely. If you wouldn’t mind, you could call back after the program and our staff will send you some literature. Okay, I’ll do that. Thank you, Bob. So the Mass is really basically if you’re Catholic, you go to confession, then you’re assigned You do penance and you’re eligible to attend mass and then you get your sins paid for up until that moment.

And then you have to, then you wind up sitting obviously and you come back to the next mass and get paid up again. I had one lady call me. She said, I’m in trouble. I said, why? She says, I’m four years behind in my sins. I said, how did that happen? She said, I haven’t attended mass in four years. So she was panning because she got four years behind in her sin dead. And obviously, wrong teaching. I had to explain to her that the cross of Calvary when Jesus died, He paid for all of your sins, past, present and future.

They’re all paid for it. I love that Him. Jesus paid it all. All to Him I owe sin had left a crimson stain, but He washed it as wide as snow. So at the cross, Jesus Christ paid for every sin that you ever commit past, present and future. And He paid for the sins of all mankind, everybody from Adam until the last person who who has ever born and lives on this planet will live and die. When you trust in his finished work of the cross, you become saved and saved eternally.

That is obviously the good news of the gospel, that whosoever believeth or trusteth in Christ should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3.16, what a great verse that one is. We’re going to go down to St. Petersburg and we have Charles on the line and Charles, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. My question is about seeing people with no things before they happen is, for example, I have seen things that were going to happen and I’ve told people about them and they have been trying to rough this.

this be safe to come to pay and nothing that i have told people not to be is that a bit about the whole about one minute for that that’s not good Well, it really isn’t something the Bible tells us well where the secret is there. And the true gift of prophecy that the Bible talks about is not dealing with other people’s lives or their future. It’s dealing with the events that God has on his program eternally. And we have all of that in the Bible itself, and so we don’t need that.

This other practice is not really something. Now you may just be very discerning and maybe you can just read the handwriting on the wall. You know, if somebody gets drunk and they get behind the wheel of their car, you can say, I bet you’re going to have an accident. You might get killed or I know you might kill somebody else, and you’ll be absolutely right because you can kind of figure it out. But I wouldn’t look to find some gift here to be able to tell people’s lives.

It’s really fortune telling, and that, of course, according to the Bible, is not on the gods side of the learning curve here. That’s on the level side where he lures us to wanna have these special powers and to have these special insights which really aren’t from God at all. So I’d be careful. But I think some people really have intuition or they can kind of sense things. I think women are more intuitive than men are, but be careful you don’t go over the line with that.

Okay, my next question. Sure. Testing really has to do with your mind being sharp when your tummy is empty. So when you eat a big meal, what happens? I know Thanksgiving. I crash after I eat that Thanksgiving meal. Everybody in the whole room looks like they’re zoned out. They’re watching TV and and they’re snoring or sneeze or sleeping because the food puts you out. And so basically God is saying that to be spiritually alert to speak spiritually on able to receive truth from God that oftentimes it’s better to not have had a full stomach.

And I learned that in college years ago if I took an exam right after I ate a meal, I would do poorly. But if I ate several hours before I took an exam, my mind would be much sharper. And the same thing was when I studied, if I started studying right after I ate a big meal, my mind was dull and I was kind of sleeping. I didn’t feel like studying. But you do better when your mind is sharp because you have an empty stomach.

So it’s really about that. And I think the disciples are going to be focused and to be sharp, milling, and in tune with the Lord he told them that they had to fast. And there’s no special magic about it. It’s just in fact the way we were designed that when we put food in our stomach all the blood rushes to digest that food and our brains are deprived of that during that time while our body is working on digesting the food.

I’ll have kind of a difficult question here. I’ll try to make this very quick. If Jesus was, when he was here in human form, did his actions and his teachings and methods, Did it favor more of a free enterprise society or a socialist society? And I asked you that question because now with the elections coming up, a lot of voters are undecided on what they want to vote for.

And that’s when we ought to look to the Lord and see what his teachings and methods were to fix that would favor. And I’m going to go ahead and hang up so I can listen to your answer on that. Well, obviously the Bible says in John 8, you know, you’re some of the truth and the truth to set you free. And so I think that in America here, because of the belief of our forefathers, that we developed a very free society, where you had the choice to choose your employment or your form of business, and that the government wasn’t to really interfere.

But they were to obviously provide peace and tranquility with Romans chapter 13 talks about the responsibility government is obviously to provide law and order and peace and allow us to continue to pursue those things of life and happiness. That’s what our forefather saw. I think the country that we once were when we founded it is the country that develops out of a free society where the Bible is the Word of God and that was our first textbook and the people believed in those freedoms and people chose to set their own destiny and obviously as believers we have this kind of freedom and the truth sets us free so we’re not under some type of a socialistic society where we are just dominated by the government.

So I think today we’re going back now toward the other type of a government which ultimately is that the push seems to be a one-world government which satan wants to have which is predicted in the bible where uh… the antichrist will control everybody you’re buying your selling everything will be controlled by the antichrist that seems to be exactly the type of government that were headed toward now where uh… we have the government uh… controlling everything that you do and whatever you think and whatever you uh…

can say look at how Christians are being muzzled today while in many of the high schools the Islamic people can pray they provide per carpets form and happening in airports and things But you and I as a Christian aren’t allowed to pray if we were in high school today we are shunned if we do and we’re put down and we obviously Our more and more being gagged as to what we can say. That’s a shame. And obviously we’re going away from that.

So I think, well, we are in the last days and I’m leaving it the rapture because after that, your freedoms, I think will all have been taken away from you. You’ll be under the control of the Antichrist and he’ll control everything you buy and everything you sell. Revelation 13, read it for yourself. It’s not going to be good. Anyway, this is Tuesday tonight. We’re going to start those classes in 2nd Peter. I’d love to have you come and be a part of the 2nd Peter class.
