The judgement of the nations is an event that will occur seven years after the rapture, immediately following Armageddon and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ to the earth. As Jesus Christ sets up His earthly (1,000 year kingdom), His first order of business is to judge the nations and eliminate the unsaved from entering the millennium. This judgement is to be distinguished from the great white throne. Here there is no resurrection; the persons judged are living nations; no books are opened; three classes are present, sheep, goats, and brethren; the time is at the return of Christ; and the scene is on the earth.

Plus, wonderful evangelism tools. We have a CD called How Permanent is Your Salvation that we have found so successful that people tell us that if they can get a relative to listen to it, the chances are great that that relative will trust the Lord as their Savior. We had a fellow give one to a friend and he gets a call the other day from halfway across the country in the state of Texas where his friend who is a driver of an 18-wheeler and He was losing the station he was listening to and he reached over to change stations and he accidentally hit the CD button and there was that CD in there that he placed in earlier.
He heard the how permanent is your CD and he got saved and he called this friend of his in Tampa and just couldn’t stop talking about how excited he was to have heard that CD. Really it was God’s timing I guess because he just happened to hit the wrong button but he heard, I guess he hit the right button really because he got saved. It’s exciting. We hear stories like that all the time and you might want to order some of the things that we have that really do work.
Our operators can help you when you call in. Our number here at Bibleline is 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. We’d love to have you give us a call. If you have a question or comment, we’ll take it and try to answer it on the air. We have a lot of off-air questions we’re going to try to get to today. We’re also going to go, of course, to take live callers. But first, we’re going to talk about the Bible for a few minutes.
One of the passages that seems to cause some difficulty for some is the judgment of the nations. You know, there are quite a number of different judgments taught in the Bible, and the judgment of our salvation has already occurred. That occurred at the cross 2000 years ago. There your sins and mine were taken by God and paid for in full by Jesus’ death and shed blood. He was buried he rose again from the dead when you trust Christ as your Savior.
Your sins have already been judged and paid for and you receive that forgiveness when you simply trust Jesus Christ as your Savior. You could do that right now and be certain of going to heaven because the judgment for your sin, the judgment for your sin, The judgment that determines whether you go to heaven or not has already taken place 2,000 years ago. Then there’s a judgment for believers only, called the Judgement of Christ, where believers works will be examined to determine the degree of reward or loss of reward in heaven.
That’ll take place at the rapture when Christ comes back. I wonder if you’re a believer, are you going to be approved or disapproved at that judgment. It won’t affect your salvation, but will affect your rewards or loss of reward in heaven. There’s another judgment. For unbelievers, only a thousand years after the first judgment for believers, and it’s for unbelievers only, and it’s a judgment of works to determine the degree of punishment in hell. Unbelievers will have their works examined, and God will determine the degree of punishment they’ll receive as they’re cast into the everlasting lake of fire.
You certainly don’t want to be in that judgment, and if you have trusted Christ, then the judgment for your sin which took place at Calvary will count for you, and you can be assured of going to heaven. But there is also this judgment of the nations which will take place at the beginning of the millennium. When Christ comes back seven years after the Rapture, all of the nations will be assembled before him. The angels are dispatched to bring the saved in the lost, and they are brought before the Lord into the valley of Jehassafat, just to the east of Jerusalem.
And there Jesus will have the believers set to his right hand, and they are called the sheep, and his angels will set the unbelievers to his left hand. They are called the goats. To the sheep he says and I’ll quote the verse the king says to those on his right hand in verse 34 Matthew 25 Come ye blessed of my father and Herrant the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world So the kingdom being the millennium the thousand year rate of Christ the believers of the tribulation period those who become saved after the rapture During the tribulation period will be invited to enter into that kingdom and those are the sheep nations.
Those that are saved. And then to the goats or to the unsaid on his left hand, he says in verse 41 of Matthew 25, then shall he say to those also in his left hand, depart from me, ye cursed in the everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels. So unbelievers will be cast into the eternal lake of fire, and only believers will enter into the Millennial Kingdom. Now, there’s another group mentioned here in this chapter which is oftentimes misunderstood or overlooked perhaps in the interpretation of what’s going on here because it talks about another group called the King’s Brethren or Christ Brethren and those of course we believe are the Jews and in particular probably the 144,000 Jews that will be God’s witnesses during the tribulation period.
Those will be persecuted, they will actually be martyred before the tribulation period is over for their faithful witness for Christ. Millions will get saved through their evangelism, but the sheep will visit them in prison and bring them food and clothing and care for them. The goats will disregard them and not care whether they live or die and do nothing for them. And so Jesus, when he’s judging the nations, points out that the sheep had compassion upon these that were his brethren.
And inasmuch as they served and cared for those brethren of Christ, they did it unto Christ. And inasmuch as the goats did not do anything for these that were his brethren, the Jewish witnesses during the tribulation period, they did it not unto Christ. Now again the people that are works focused and think that works somehow will play a part in their salvation. Focus on what the sheep did or what the goats did not do. And they think somehow that if you do those things you’ll get to heaven but if you don’t do those things you’ll go to hell.
That’s not what it’s saying. The sheep are saved and sheep by nature do certain things. the sheep. He said, because they get saved through the evangelism of the 144,000 Jewish witnesses have compassion on them and they help them out of the goodness of their heart. But it’s not the means by which they’re saved. It simply is something that is characteristic about the sheep. But the goats who disregard the message of those wonderful evangelists that are Jewish believers that are brethren to Christ, as Christ remembers, was Jewish.
He says they did it not unto Christ. Well obviously the sheep were righteous because they trusted Christ. The goats were unrighteous because they did not trust Christ and the issue here is not their works. Although they will be rewarded for their works or punished in hell with a degree of punishment according to their works, the goats will, but salvation is simply a gift. In any case, this is a judgment of all the nations and only those of the nations that are saved on the planet Earth will enter into that thousand year reign of Christ, but the goats or the unsaved will be cast into the lake of fire and will not enter into that thousand year kingdom.
I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom and we’re going to be talking to you right now if you want to call in you can dial us at 1-800-576-3771 and we hope you’ll give us a call and in the meantime we’ll take some of the off-air questions and again dial that number up right now 1-800 and we’ll get you up on the air 1-800-576-3771. Off the air we have Kerry in Richmond, He leaves an unfair question. He says after reading the book of Job, chapter 2, questions come into my mind.
Number 1, why does God entertain any discussion with the devil? Well, obviously I think we’re enlightened by this, aren’t we? Not only does the devil exist, also we learn that he hates believers, and obviously he would like to do harm and cause believers to stumble and fall and so on. So we find here that God lets us know that he superintendents and watches over believers and so that whatever is happening in the life of a believer is monitored by God.
The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 10, 13 that there is no testing that the devil might bring but such a common demand. God will not allow any testing to come your way this greater than you are able to bear. So obviously we learn that God watches over the believer. Then question number two, why does God prevent Satan to do things as he did to Job? In this case obviously to test Job but also obviously the response of Job has been a blessing and he has actually actually become a mentor to all of us as to how to handle suffering and trials and things that happen in our life.
And so as a believer, all of us have gained strength from Job. We read about the patience of Job, how patient he was, how he never sinned even though Satan thought that he would, if he would just take away all that he had or touch his flesh as he did and Job became very ill. And so in any case, God has used Job and it’s a wonderful, wonderful book for believers to read, to learn how to deal with adversity and trial in our lives.
And in the book of James, when it talks about trials, it tells the readers of the book of James to count it all joy when you fall into diverse testings. And it reminds us in the chapter 5 of the book of James as he concludes his message to remember Job. Job was a great lesson to us. So God allows things sometimes to help us grow and to get our attention and so on. But God never allows any temptation to come our way with the intent that we would fail it.
He gives us trials to make us grow, to make us stronger, and without those trials we probably would not grow. Alright, well we’re excited about being with you today here on Bibleline and here in Florida we’re facing a tropical storm that is really going through and the weather’s beginning to pick up and there’s weather alerts and all kinds of excitement here in our area, possible tortados. So in any case, we are. I believe that we’re safe in Christ. Right now we’re going to go to Charles in Largo, Florida.
Charles, you’re on the air. Welcome to Bibleline. All right. Thank you. Go ahead. You’re on the air. Dr. Lindstrom, my name is Charles Holland. A few years ago I had a, I guess you would, I would call it a vision from God. And God is telling me, I mean I actually heard his voice just today telling me saying I am the God of Israel. God of Israel, I am the God of Jacob, I am the God of all of mankind.
And the whole world will kneel before me. I will be exalted above and below the earth. It is time for the door of everyone’s heart to be open. I heard this physical voice yesterday. And he told me personally what I should do. And I need some type of I pray. But I was really like. First of all, you’ve got truth mixed with error and what you just said. And if it came from God, then obviously a God is speaking error.
This can’t happen. and And again, this thing about opening our hearts to Jesus is not scriptural, and therefore whatever you heard didn’t come from God. I’d be careful about listening to messages outside of the Bible. And if you’re hearing messages, especially if they contradict the Bible, then you can say this didn’t come from God. So I would be very cautious. This is a tricky area where we need to be careful that we don’t fall into a trap here. You quoted really from several different passages which is the truth where Christ is God and He is going to rule over all of the universe forever and ever and ever and everything in heaven above and in the earth and beneath the earth will bow their knee to Him and contest him as the Lord and worship him, those in hell will worship Christ for sure.
But the message is not for us to open our heart. The message is that we are to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and will be saved. The word believe means to trust. So we have to trust His death and shed blood. And opening our hearts really is not a scriptural message at all. So I think you’re getting some truth and some error mixed together there. I would recommend you get into your Bible very tightly because that’s where you’re going to find the correct answers.
Thank you Charles for your call and I hope that has helped. All right. That was Charles and we need to be careful about trying to hear messages from God today or maybe not even trying to hear them but you need to listen carefully that God speaks today through his word. 2 Timothy 3 16 says all scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for correction, for instruction and righteousness. So if you check everything that you hear, read, take into your mind against the scripture, you will be able to discern what is truth and what is evil and false and make the right choices there to know what is of God.
All right, Ryan in Tampa calls in and he sees a verse in Revelation chapter 9 and this deals with the doctrine of repentance and I’m turning there right now, Ryan. And thank you for calling in and leaving this question about Romans chapter 9. It says here in verse 21, neither repented they of their murders nor of their sorceries nor of their fornication nor of their thefts. This is right at the end of the tribulation. This is the sixth trumpet judgment.
And that is right at the final, right at the time of the Battle of Armageddon. And God is getting people’s attention for the very last time. But you’ll notice here, they don’t change their mind and come to know Christ or seek God they continue in the sins that they have been committed to. What is interesting, look at what we see in our world today. It says here, murder, sorceries. The Greek word for sorcery is farma kia from which we get our English word pharmacy talking about drugs.
Are you believing this? God nails it on the head. Then the last days people would be using drugs and associated with drugs are murders and then what? Fornication and stealing thefts and all of those crimes go together. As we approach the end of the Tribulation people, people become so hardened against the Lord. They will not change your mind and come to know Christ as their Savior. Again the Greek word for repent means to change your mind. They continue to think that what they are doing is more important than to trust Christ as Savior.
We have Dr. Anonymous with us again here today and he is in Dade City. So Dr. Anonymous, welcome to Bibleline. Good morning. How are you? Good all right. You getting wet up there in Nate City? Getting any rain up there? Is that rain? I don’t know. You’re having a field there again. They’re getting the Bible. They’re going to help some children. Did God tell you that your heart got you up to do it’s salvation? Are we back on the heart thing again today?
Yeah, you started it. I started it again. I don’t think you’re getting the point is that the New Testament was not written. It was not it was not written in English. It was written in Greek. And if we were talking about living in another culture, they wouldn’t have translated it heart. They might have translated it your kidneys or your bowels or some other body part because in 1611, they thought that you did your thinking with your heart. And And so I think we’re getting hung up here because of a translation from Greek to English to the word heart.
But you do have to make a decision to trust Christ and that decision isn’t made with your pumping organ. You understand? What are you trying to tell us here? What am I trying to tell you? It’s God’s Word is telling you. You know what you got to do is open up your ears and your eyes. you want us to go by the Bible, right? That is correct. Well, we’re going to go by the Bible. Let’s go by the Bible.
I’m telling you, you’re an empty, logical concept. And you don’t have a word, nothing to back it up with your opinions. And God taught it ever, too. Tell me what about the heart that I need to know. You need to know the regards where, just like you said, you can fence with your mouth and believe in your heart, not believe in God, but hang this through, by shall be saved. you have a problem with that but you don’t believe in your heart you have a problem with that i have a problem with the your kind of problem with god i have a problem with with dr anonymous saying that the heart is the organ that you believe with that was from the uh…
uh… medical beliefs of sixteen eleven four hundred years ago and obviously today we know we think with our brain the greek word translated heart means the center of your thought processes and it doesn’t mean the pumping organ. So if you think that you think with your heart, Dr. Anonymous, you need to come out of the dark ages and wake up. We are living in the 21st century and you need to look up what the Greek word says. Again, it’s strong of accordance.
Anybody can use one of those. use the number code system will give you the Greek word and the original meaning and the heart really means your mind and that’s where you wind up believing. So yes, if you confess with your mouth, Lord Jesus that He is God and believe in your mind or wherever you do your thinking, then you are going to be saved and I thank you for that call. All right, we have another caller here in Benjamin in Clearwater just calls in and leaves an off-air question and he asks about Ephesians 4-8 and he says, do these people go to heaven?
The answer is yes. Ephesians 4a is talking about Christ when he was crucified. He went down into the heart of the earth and he led a group captive out of paradise in the heart of the earth and took them up to heaven. And those people of course were taken up to heaven itself and that’s where they are at this very hour. They still did not have the resurrection bodies but Benjamin, they did go right up to heaven. They were in the heart of the earth because they’re sin and not even paid for.
But Christ, when he died, went down to the heart of the earth and he declared victory. And on the third day he took them all captive up to heaven and now Paradise is in the third heaven according to 2 Corinthians 12.3. We have a Victoria in Jacksonville, Florida and Victoria, welcome to Bibleline your own ear. Yes, hi. Good morning. Dr. Lonschremb. Good morning. Hi. How are you? I’m doing fine. Thank you. I would recommend you on your amazing restraint and patience with many of the questions.
Sometimes I’m amazed at how you do it. But putting that aside, I wanted to ask with reports to the Bible and I know that we are to read that literally. However, I think last week or maybe the week before you mentioned there are parts of the Bible that are allegorical. Yes. And I’m wondering what parts they are and why were they written that way. I think they are clearly defined in the context. If you read for example, Galatians chapter 4, it talks about the New Jerusalem and the earthly Jerusalem and it talks about an allegory between the two.
The one talks about the law, the other talks about grace and how the earthly Jerusalem is referring to people being under bondage. But the New Jerusalem and heaven were set totally free and it is a picture of grace. It’s a beautiful chapter and a beautiful allegory using the two cities to tell that allegorical story But it’s clear in the context when it is an allegory. Okay. All right. That’s it. All right. Thank you for your call And that’s wishes to you all right now to take a break here.
We’ll be right back after this break. Don’t go away Don’t go away Bibleline. We’ll be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1 800 576 3 7 7 1 That’s 1-800-576-3771. Alright, I’m Dr. England Sriman. You can call in if you’d like it. 1-800-576-3771. 1-800-576-3771. We have Tim in Lake Worth, Florida on the east coast of Florida. Tim, welcome to Bibleline. Good morning, Dr. How are you? Good. My question is somewhat too full and involved. Number one, can an individual be a disciple?
Okay, and the answer is yes. You can be a believer and not be a disciple. You can be a disciple and not be a believer judas is a good case in point judas was a disciple but he was not a believer in judas went to hell because he never believed on christ according to john six sixty four but uh… you can be a believer not be a disciple and obviously most of the new testament epistles were written to believers who were being urge to come online and become disciples because they were not living for the war Okay, my question, next part of this question, how does one become, and have a difficult time wording this, becoming a disciple without, I know that we can make the free choice, but also I heard you mention earlier that God doesn’t speak to us, and maybe I misunderstood, but
I’ve always thought about it. not an not an audible form this guy that was calling earlier said he actually heard an audible voice speaking to him and i’ve never heard that yet and uh… been around a long time so you do believe that the holy spirit will say okay now i have i have you now i’m calling you to be my disciple yet not that i have to get it absolutely and i think he speaks to his word and and two circumstances many times in our life but no i’m not an audible voice out of the sky okay i want more comment you have a job a call last week you get a little happy with you because you said you read that so much and then anti-Catholic and i think there’s a little harsh of his part i think we can disagree with a june or i
that person and you know i have never met in my sixty years of life anyone who has converted to justice and these people have to realize that what they are doing is a family tradition and they have to really put that behind them and it’s true rather than what their parents and grandparents here so that point is instead of catholic getting offended they should really stop their hank is telling them the truth and not being and by anyone just being truthful.
Amen. Well, thank you Tim and thank you for your call. Thank you, sir. All right. That was Tim and yeah, God does speak to us and I remember getting saved in 18 going off to a secular university, the University of Florida in Gainesville, where I went through a five-year program in electrical engineering and graduated from Gainesville. And you know, I was all alone on that campus and nobody knew that I was a Christian. I was a secret believer for that first time.
year. But you know, God knew I was a Christian and I knew I was saved and God followed me up and he brought me to my knees in my room a year later where I dedicated my life to Christ. And nobody even knew I was a Christian much less than anybody followed me up. But God followed me up and I knew clearly that he wanted me to live for him and witness for him and it was no great mystery about it.
But I never heard an audible voice out of the sky. I think people that talk like that’s really mislead a lot of people into looking for something like that which is not going to happen. God speaks to us through His word. We now have George and George is in Palm Beach Gardens and George, welcome to the Bible end. Thank you. Good morning. Good morning. Just one comment. Last night, Franklin Graham used that phraseology. I can’t remember exactly to accept Jesus into your life or into your heart or into your heart.
It’s so popular, but it’s so wrong. I don’t understand why people don’t get that right. That was disappointed with him. Well, although he did preach the gospel, if you were to ask them chapter and verse, please, they can’t show you that in the Bible. Because it’s just not scriptural. and I think what happens is preachers fall into the trap of copying preachers. So preachers hear preachers and they say, well, he’s successful and they like, you know, sounds good and they just copy it.
But we don’t invite Christ into our life to be saved. We trust that he died and shed his blood to be saved. And it seems like this new way of presenting it seems to bypass the blood, the cross, the burial, the resurrection, and the gospel is the message of the death, the burial and resurrection of Christ. And I think you’re right on, George. That’s important to be listening now to how people present it to see whether they got a right or not, because a lot of evangelists and preachers don’t present it correctly.
I have a question. Go ahead. the apostles creed where that come from i’ve been in a church of north where they recited it well for the roman catholic church it’s a creed that came out of one of the church councils and uh… and i don’t recited because it says that christ descended into hell which is not true uh… christ went into paradise we know that he told the dying thief today they’ll show me with being paradise in the twenty three forty three but i christ never went to help that’s not from the bible no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no man-made creed there have been quite a number of creeds uh…
written down through time and and i’ve i said to maul and i don’t think there’s one of them that i could uh… feel comfortable reciting because they’re not uh… accurate you know scripturally usually they have some flaw or many flaws and what we do in our church is i’ve picked out eleven verses of scripture which I believe flow together and tell a tremendous message. And we stand and we recite these verses of Scripture and it’s wonderful. It’s just so powerful to quote the Word of God.
Well, I’ll tell you that I’ve been listening to people like you and checking my Bible and I’m just a totally different person in my faith. Isn’t that wonderful? That’s what happens when you get into the Bible and get serious about it. life then can really be transformed and that’s what it’s all about. One thing I’ve discovered is that this is a continuing story from beginning to end. There’s no disconnect anywhere. You got that right. And there is so much, I mean the Old Testament is so much about Jesus.
You know, people don’t think, well we don’t need the Old Testament. That’s history. Well, the Old Testament is almost as much about Jesus as the New Testament. Absolutely. It’s incredible. Well, I don’t like that word. great thank you well george thank you again for your call and uh… uh… again becoming alert to uh… really what is what is not the gospel we have a caller now enrichment virginia uh… we have wilburn on the line in wilburn now you’re welcome to my line on your own ear Sir good morning, Dr.
Hank. Good morning. I wanted to say that just like you’re saying Christians really need to be careful with what they hear, see or feel, just like you say. If it’s not in the Bible, it’s coming from a demonic source. For example, voice to skull technology was discovered in the 1940s by the military. And what has happened is a lot of people who have hijacked that technology to try to influence the people. and New World Order people are using that technology to kind of sneak in on a person’s life and try to get the person to listen to those signals or what not, what they hear, what they feel, what they see, and try to influence them in multiple ways of control of their life.
New World Order is definitely the anti-class government and Satan has hijacked technology and will continue to use that to take over people and ultimately control most of the world. Well, you know, I just saw a little clip the other night on television about people’s hands being having this little radio frequency notification chip in their hand where they They can just walk up to their house and their front door will unlock and they can walk in and their car and different things.
It’s amazing how that we are in a technological age which would allow government and in particular the book of Revelation talks about the Antichrist controlling people, they’re buying and they’re selling and their movements and everything else with the technology today. But there’s so many areas where the devil is working today. I think music is one of those. And the contemporary Christian music seems to be very, very much a tool in this ecumenicism where all the churches are blending together.
And this movement seems to depend a lot on the new contemporary music to kind of promote this so-called unity. But it would be wonderful if we could all be in unity. But the problem is that the churches don’t all believe the same thing. And you can have union, which is what we’re really approaching, and not really unity. You can take two cats and tie their tails together and throw them over a clothesline, and you have union, but you don’t have unity.
And I think that’s really what we have today. We’re trying to tie all these churches together, and some of the glue is the music and the other things that are happening. in support of the end times and no doubt we’re getting close to the Lord’s return. Yes, what’s interesting also is we are, God made us as bioelectric individuals, you know, a nervous system in our brain and every person’s brain has a unique signal, a single prance so to speak.
And that person’s brain can be harnessed or connected to by radio frequency and not affect the other people in the room. Sort of can’t dial in a cell phone. But it rings only your phone and not the people around. Right. I’m not real familiar with that. But I know, obviously, that God can communicate with us and we can communicate with him. And there’s a lot that we really don’t understand, but prayer obviously is a way we can talk directly to the Lord.
And he hears our prayers and he answers them. And of course he can speak to us through his word. All of this is really mind-boggling. Wilburn, thank you for that call. We sure appreciate you calling in and listening up there in Richmond, Virginia. We now have Frank in St. Petersburg. Frank, welcome to Bibleland. Hi, Dr. Hank. Thank you so much for taking my phone call. I appreciate your ministry. Your ministry is a real blessing. Real quick question, I was reading a book of Job, and I am a believer.
And something just was brought to my attention, it caused some confusion. When God allowed Satan to attack Job and test his faith, there’s verses that talk about Satan bringing up the blood. about lightning to set fire on jokes, belongings and possessions and then Satan causing some type of world win. I was wondering the dust dust thing. The creation in terms of storms and lightning or might. I think apparently he does. But again, Satan can’t really do anything without God’s permission.
So he is limited. God is sovereign, and Satan operates under God’s authority. But Satan does have the power to do those things. I think those storms on the Sea of Galilee, where the disciples were out there, were really Satan as I attempt to try to kill Jesus, but of course Jesus rebuked the storm I think he’s really rebuking Satan there and the sea becomes calm So I think that yeah, definitely so and and so we just need to look to God for our protection I don’t focus a lot of my attention on Satan because If if I’m okay with God, I’m in great shape because he can take care of Satan Okay, well I was just trying to tie it in with in Jan 17 or part of the people want.
That’s exactly right. And I was just trying to tie it in with some of the scripture appreciating the law. Yeah, I think the Satan can bring about storms and cause disasters and so on. But he can only do it if God allows it because in the case of Job, you might remember that conversation began by Satan complaining that God had a hedge about Job where God was able to do it. about Job where Satan really wasn’t able to do a thing until God then said, okay, I’ll let you do certain things with certain limitations.
But God was watching over Job and never allowed anything beyond what Job was able to handle to come his way. The other thing too is a believer. I mean, the pastor Paul really draws to our attention. We’re in. We’re in a spiritual war every day, every moment. We battle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers. But I think a lot of believers lose faith. We do stropation, satanic attack, and it’s not just this, you know, probably perfect, I think that it’s an easy-going type of Christian life without any battles or struggles.
So I was trying to tie that in with the Apostle Paul’s teaching about the spiritual battle and it would have put on the armor of God, which is… is a script. I pray. He’s likely right. And thank you for your call, Frank. Yeah. Thank you. We’re, no doubt about it. We’re in the spiritual warfare all the time. And a lot of Christians of course don’t recognize any warfare because they’re not really engaging in the battle. If you don’t ever read your Bible and you don’t ever tend church and you don’t ever witness to anybody, Satan’s going to probably leave you alone because you’re better than a rock.
Just you know, you’re not obviously any impact upon this world. But as you begin to engage the devil by trying to bring the gospel to somebody else and prepare yourself by learning God’s Word. Satan is going to be all over your case and you will certainly discover the reality of this warfare that we are in. Well, we have a number of all fair questions here. By the way, the phone number here at Bibleline is 1-800-576-3771. I am excited about a class we will teach July 11th.
We haven’t announced the title yet. But for five weeks on Tuesday nights we are going to do two hours of Tuesday night. If you’re in the area you can come. If not, we’ll be recording them. They will be available on CD and we’ll announce that title and you can make plans to get it. We just finished three really dynamic classes that I taught the book of Jude, ten hours. That incredible book that is book number 65 in the order books and seems to tie the previous sixty-four books of the Bible and then introduces the last book, The Book of Revelation.
It’s quite a remarkable book. We did ten hours on it. That book, that study was really great. Ten hours on ten CDs and that’s available. You can call our operators. We also did the Book of Romans. That is such an incredible book. It’s the book that Martin Luther the Reformer was reading when he got saved and it began the Reformation. turn Europe’s upside down. What a great book to become familiar with. In the Book of Romans we did all 16 chapters on 10 series.
Also we did the Book of Hebrews. There’s lots of confusion. There are a few commentaries I noticed are written on the Book of Hebrews because most Bible teachers don’t even want to touch it. They don’t know how to handle the difficult passages. But we took them all on and have dealt with them and we invite you to… The book of Romans, the book of Hebrew, you can call in and order those CD series. You can also get them online if you go to our website, BibleLineMinistries.org.com.
You can see pictures and read descriptions of all the things that we have available. We’re now going to go to Alvin is in Lakeland, Florida. Alvin, welcome to Bible In Your Own Year. Hello Dr. Lestum. How are you? Dr. Lestum, I’m a Danish licensed evangelist from an organization. I’m a Danish evangelist and I have my license from the state. How bad is that? Well, you know, the important thing is that you’re really sent from God. And there are a lot of preachers that are not sent from God.
If you’re genuinely saved and the Lord has given you the ability and the desire to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to lost people, then you’re called of Him. And that’s what really counts. Some of the greats like deal moody was never ordained of men. In fact he never had a formal education. When asked about his education deal moody would say he had an O and O degree. And they said what is that? He says out and out for God.
And I like that. So really it doesn’t matter except in the eyes of men that people recognize that you You have had some training in that you have some incredible background and so on that people have confidence and put trust in you. But otherwise, it only matters that God has sent you and that you are preaching His message and are true to His Word. And you read about that in Jeremiah 23, 28, it says, let Him that hath my Word preach it faithfully.
We are to faithfully dispense what God has said within His Word. We don’t have the authority to change the word or add to it or take away from it, but to proclaim it faithfully just as he gave it. If you’re doing that, you’re okay. All right. Thank you very much. Okay, Alvin. That was Alvin in Lakeland, Florida. God is the one who ordains every believer. By the way, in John’s Gospel, chapter 15, in verse 16, Jesus says, you have not chosen me, but I have chosen you and ordained you.
He is talking to believers there. Every believer has been ordained to go and bring forth fruit according to John 15, 16. And so if you are a believer, you are ordained of God, and you are ordained to go bring forth fruit which comes by leading people to Christ, which the fruit is the brand new believer that you lead to a saving knowledge of Christ. Alright we have Juliet in Bradenton, Florida. She just called in with an off air question.
Juliet, I hope you’re listening. The Bible says it’s appointed unto men once to die. If people are raptured, when will they die? And the answer is they won’t. There is going to be an exception to that rule. It’s appointed unto men once to die and that’s in Hebrews 927, but the people who are living at the Rapture will be an exempted group that will never die. Let me quote to you, John 11, 25, and 26, where Jesus anticipates both groups, those who die and are saved, and those that are living at the Rapture.
He says that I am the resurrection and the life. He the beliefElse of me though he were dead, yet shall he live. But then verse 26 of John 11, I love this verse, it says that, and who’s, so ever, liveth and believeth in me661 shall never die. I think he’s talking about those that are living when he comes back at the end of the age that if they’re a believer they will be a part of a group that will be exempted from death.
never die. We will be caught up alive and transformed into our new bodies. Enoch was a picture of that back in Genesis 5, and he was out walking one day with the Lord, and the Bible tells us that all of a sudden he was translated that God just simply caught him up to be with himself. And the Bible tells us in Hebrews 11-5 that they went out looking for his body, and they couldn’t find it because he was gone, God had simply taken him bodily out of this world and he’s going to take a lot of people out of the rapture bodily to meet the Lord in the air.
Thank you, Juliet. I hope that answers it. There is a group that will be exempted from death and will never die. Many passages say that, but that was, I think, one of the passages I like, John 11 verse 25 and 26. Tim and Linkworth, Florida calls in. Where is the history of Jesus during the ages of 12 to 30? Is there anywhere we anywhere we can find out what Jesus was doing, the answer is no. That’s a silent period.
Christ didn’t begin his ministry telling me. Tell him. He obviously was following the Old Testament type. The priest was not consecrated to serve as a priest. He was 30 years of age. When John became He was baptized by John the Baptist. And in the Old Testament, when the priest became 30, he was baptized, fully immersed as the mark of the consecration and dedication to the ministry of the priesthood. And Christ, of course, did that when he was exactly 30 years of age.
