If you’d like to call in, the phone number is 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. In the Old Testament, the life of Christ was foretold hundreds and hundreds of years in advance.

And there are numerous references to Jesus. You know when Chadwrack, me, Shacken, amending over, cast into the burning fiery furnace, you might remember that the fire was so hot that those who cast them into the fire were killed. That’s right. And then once they were in the fire, we find that Nebuchadnezzar said, as he was astonished, as he looked, he said, did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? And they answered and said unto the king, that’s true, O king.

We’re in Daniel chapter 3 and verse 25. He answered and said, lo, I see four men loose. One of walking in the midst of the fire and they have no hurt and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. So the Son of God, there is a reference to Christ in the Old Testament. So Jesus was in the burning fire He furthest with Him. You know the wonderful truth here is it’s a picture of hell I believe and how that believers won’t be hurt the Bible says of the second death.

The second death is to be cast into the everlasting lake of fire. The Bible tells us that if you are a believer, you will not be hurt of the second death. In other words, you will burn. Christians don’t burn good. What a wonderful story where we have in Daniel Jesus joining Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the Burning Fire of Christ. The fourth is like it says, under the Son of Man, or rather the Son of God. Daniel 3, 25, a reference to Christ and amazingly given long before Christ ever came.

In Proverbs we have a reference to the Son of God, a reference to Christ. In Proverbs chapter 30 it tells us that it asks the question, what is God’s name if thou Kans’tal. Then it says, what is his son’s name if Kans’tal? Well, we know God’s name is Yahweh or Jehovah. It comes from four consonants that we call the Tetra grammaton, and that in the Greek means four consonants. Nobody really knows how to pronounce God’s name, but there are two popular pronunciations that we use today, Yahweh or Jehovah.

We know that That name of God has been given another word attached to it, which is the Hebrew word for salvation Yasha, Y-A-S-H-A, and the contraction of that is Yeshua. Yeshua really means God who would save you. And in English, Yeshua is Jesus. So what is the name of God’s Son? Well it is God who would save you or Yeshua or Jesus and there the question is asked in Proverbs 30 verse 4. It tells us here that he is a shield, a protector, a Savior, a defender to those who put their trust in him.

There you have salvation by faith in trusting Christ in Proverbs 30 verse 4. And there are so many references to Jesus in the Old Testament. In Psalms 2 we have another amazing reference to Jesus and again how we are to put our trust in Him. If you have your Bible open you can turn to Proverbs chapter 2 and it says that he would Good. The clear of the decree, verse 7 of Psalm 2, the Lord hath said unto me, Now art my son.

This day have I begun thee, and tells how Christ will come and of course be the king over the earth, and rule the earth from Zion or Jerusalem. And then it says in verse 12, Kiss the son. Let’s be angry and you perish from the way when his wrath is kimmeled but a little. Blessed are happy are all they that put their trust in Him. That is in God’s Son, the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ. Psalm 27 and verse 12.

What a great passage. You know, Jesus is in the Old Testament. Jesus said over in John’s Gospel, chapter 5 and verse 46, had you believed Moses? He said you would have believed me. Moses is the human writer of the first five books of the Bible and he says if you had believed Moses you would have believed me, for he wrote of me. But if you believe not his writings, how shall you believe me? Jesus is telling us that Moses wrote about him, that Jesus is there in Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy and we see Christ throughout all the Old Testament.

And by the way, the Old Testament saints were saved by believing on Christ. Galatians chapter 3 verse 8 says, the scripture foreseeing that God would justify the nations through faith preached before the gospel unto Abraham. You mean Abraham heard the gospel? Yes. Did he believe the gospel? Yes. How was he saved by trusting Christ? Abraham obviously heard the gospel again. Let me quote that verse Galatians 3 8 the scripture for seeing that God would justify the nations through faith preached before the gospel under Abraham and that’s how everybody’s to be safe.

You have to believe the gospel message the message of the death the barrel the resurrection of Christ and when you believe Jesus Christ at your own Savior, then God saves you and He saves you eternally. Well, I’m Dr. Englinser. This is Bibleline, and it’s great to be with you today. And we’re going to go ahead and go to the phone lines here. And so that phone number is 1-800-576-3771. 1-800-576-3771. We have Levita in Lake Worth, Florida, and Levita, welcome to Bibleline you are on the air.

Thank you, Dr. Hank. Listen, first I have an explanation, but then I have a question at the end and then I would like your take on it. First of all, my husband and I owned a couple of small businesses in, and we are both evangelical Bible-believing Christians. However, because we live in such an evil world, sometimes there are battles to be fought especially in business. And my husband sometimes can be a pretty tough warrior if he thinks he is fighting an evil person or an evil situation.

And some Christians respect him for this and others say, no, no, no, you should be be meek, mild and kind like Jesus. And my husband’s standard reply to that is when you’re studying Jesus, don’t forget to read the book of Revelation. So I’d like to know your take on that and also how tough should we be in this evil world as Christians? Well, you know, we do sometimes have to be tough and obviously we can, I think we can be tough and also be kind and a sense gentle at the same time.

But we just have to stand our ground. We don’t need to let people just walk right over the top of us. And I think you see the stories in the Old Testament where Moses was considered the meekest man that’s ever lived. And yet at the same time he was a dynamic and powerful leader. And as you read about the life of Moses, he made some very, very strong decisions. And obviously he called the people to make a choice. You’re going to live for the Lord or not.

And those that decided not to, boy, God brought destruction down upon them and everything else. It was pretty potent. And those that broke the law were stoned and killed. And so obviously there was some tough leadership there, but at the same time the Bible says that he was the meekest man who ever lived. So I think there’s a balance, but certainly we’re not to be mean or cruel, but we do need to stand our ground. And obviously if you’re going to stand for the gospel, you have to stand strong because Okay.

Thanks. Thank you. That was awesome. Thank you. Thank you. All right. That was awesome. All right. So. Thank you. We’ll see you next. Yeah. Thank you. I’m happy to meet you with a few of you. All right. I’ll see you next week. All right. Thank you. Okay. Everybody. Thanks. Thank you. All right. Well, thank you. The devil certainly wants to shut us all down. The devil always wants to put us out of business, you might say, as a believer in Christ.

And we need to stand up and say, we’re not going to cave in. We’re going to be strong. And Christ, of course, I’ll rather Paul in Ephesians talks about, or other than Timothy, 2 Timothy, chapter 2, how there were to be soldiers. And we’re in a war. And as soldiers, obviously, we have to fight. fight. We have to contend as Jude says for the truth of the gospel and etc. And not being contentious but yet where to contend. And the contender is somebody who is going to stand up and fight for the truth.

So sometimes we do have to do battle and I just would try to use the scriptures as my guide and forget what people think because you just have to do what the Bible tells you to do. Okay. I thank you very much. All right, go for it. Thanks for your call. That was Levita in Lakeworth, Florida. We now have Juanita in Port Charlotte, Florida. Juanita, welcome to Bibleline. Thank you. I have a question that I’ve been studying in New Testament.

You have two different genealogies, both in Matthew and in Luke. Both of them say it’s Joseph, the husband of Mary, he was Jesus’ mother, and yet they are different. In Luke, it goes through Nathan, David’s son, and in Matthew through Solomon. Right. Otherwise they’re the same up until you get to David and one is the genealogy of Mary and the other is the genealogy of Joseph and obviously the two parents here were both related back to King David and Joseph was of the Kingly line through Solomon and Mary was of the flesh line through Nathan and those are the only two people on the Pearl Planet Earth that could could have been the parents of Christ.

Yes, because he was the legal father of Jesus, but not actual father. That’s right. He could therefore pass on the airship through the throne to Jesus, but have he been the real father, then the curse of Konaiah that we read about in Jeremiah 22 would have passed down upon Jesus and he would have been forbidden to be king. It says back in Jeremiah that no man of Konaiah’s seed could sit upon the throne of David. You read that Matthew genealogy and Joseph was of that lineage of Konaiah after Solomon down the line there came Konaiah and he had a curse.

So if Joseph had been a real father, Christ could have not been the Messiah. That’s very observant. I knew about that. But I was looking forward in chains and chronic calls. I had forgotten that I was in Jeremiah Okay, but thank you very much. Well, I’m glad that helped. Thank you Juanita. That was Juanita in Port Charlotte We’re now going to go to Lee in Tampa, Florida and Lee welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air Good morning. How you doing?

Good. I was I Hate to mention names because I I’ve been live gotten something wrong and I thought to blame somebody stuff in it It was my fault. I was watching Les Selbic yesterday and he was talking about in Isaiah chapter 11. And I know it started at verse 1. He said, the seventh spirit of God. And when I read that I only count six spirits. Where is that tonight? Is that? Yes, Isaiah 11. Yeah, well, you have to count the spirit of the Lord as well.

So there are seven there. Just every one of them, the spirit of the Lord. Okay. So when you add that you got Sol 7. Yes, that’s all. Well, good. Thank you. That was easy to resolve and thank you for listening Lee. Thank you very much and I’ll be soon and get some money as soon as I can. Well, wonderful. That’ll help Bible I’m Stay On The Year. Thank you. Thank you. All right. That was Lee down in that or in Tampa here where we are also and we’re now going to Jim in St.

Petersburg. Jim, welcome to Bible I’m Your On The Year. Well thank you. Good morning. Good morning. I turned on my radio. I’m in my truck because I’m working but I heard you talking about Jesus being mentioned in the Old Testament. And… This is not a direct, and yet it is. When Abraham was asked to sacrifice Isaac, and Isaac says, I see the fire, I see the fire, but where’s the sacrifice? And Abraham said, God shall provide himself to the Lamb.

He didn’t say God himself shall provide. He said, God shall provide himself. and then John, the Baptist, later on confirmed that when he said, behold, the Lamb of God that take it the way that sin of the world. Amen. And that to me is a direct statement about Jesus and another thing that the Jews were expecting a warrior king and Abraham said he would come as a lamb. So I think there’s a lot to be said about that. Amen.

You’re absolutely right. and the beautiful, beautiful presentation. Actually, Abraham got to enact out the gospel by offering up his own son a picture of Christ. And you have everything, the substitution of payment of Christ by Abraham offering up his son, and then a ram be caught in a ticket that was the substitute so that Isaac goes free. And we find even the ascension of Christ pictured there as Abraham descends from the mountain, but Isaac doesn’t. And he’s left up there and just disappears.

And we believe that is the ascension of Christ after his death, Maryland resurrection. So absolutely incredible chapter, Genesis chapter 22, Abraham and X out the crucifixion of Christ with his own son. We have Gene in St. Petersburg asking, should the rapture happen this year? If you owe money on your house or car, what would happen to your debts? And of course, obviously, I think you’d be free from your debts, don’t you think? You wouldn’t be here on the planet anymore and none of your creditors could find you.

I hope you don’t just run up a lot of credit card bills anticipating that the word might come this year and then try to escape those debts. But definitely when you leave, you’re leaving it all behind including your debts. And so that’s exciting isn’t it. You’ll be debt free once you are raptured out. So Jean interesting thought there and you’re absolutely right. Jim in Richmond, Virginia just called in. He said, after the second death, our non-believers burnt up, or are they in torment forever?

And obviously, they are not destroyed. They will receive resurrection bodies at the second resurrection, which the Bible says in Revelation 20, happens at the end of the thousand years when all the unsaved dead, souls are brought up out of Hades which is in the heart of the earth. Given their new bodies, then judged according to their works to be assigned a degree of punishment in hell, and then we find that they are going to be cast body and soul into the everlasting lake of fire where the Bible says they’ll be tormented day and night forever and ever.

John, rather, Revelation 20 verse 10 says that there will be torment a day and night for ever and ever and ever. We have Vinnie in Hudson’s floor on the line and Vinnie, welcome to Bibleline You’re on the air. Good morning, Dr. Lindstrom. Good morning. Good. I was studying Exodus and I saw a correlation. I’m wondering if maybe you can… Maybe you can expound on it and see if they’re related. In chapter 32 verse 28 speaks about 3,000 men being slain.

And when we go to the book of Acts chapter 2, Well, I think by verse 39 or 40 somewhere in there about the 3,000 we got saved a 41 on the Pentecost 3,000 people were saved right. Is that do you think that there’s a correlation there? I was just curious about that. I I really would have to think about that. I don’t I don’t see one but But exit it says there were 3,000 Swain. Yeah. Well, I don’t know the connection that you’re making, but I’ll think about it.

The 3000 that were swain in Exodus by the Levi’s. Were they, do you believe they were slain, saved? I don’t know, but in any case it was, it may have been a punishment for their sin and they were just physically killed and pranking out of here which is probably the case, but I don’t see the connection between the 3000 get saved or rather get the Holy Spirit on the day of, they get saved and get the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost.

Well, I don’t see the connection, but I’ll think about it. Maybe there is one. I was just curious if those three thousand and exit is taking them home early. Well, I think that’s true. Yeah, for sure. Well, thank you Vinnie. We’re about out of time here. You’re on the air.

Oh, whoa, hi. You know, some of these programs, they don’t come out and say it, but they don’t want anybody to call in that’s any smarter than the host. Well, I’m sure of that, you know. But I tell you that we have some really good colors and they ask some really good questions and they put out a real challenge for me. Well, I know I’ve been cut by a lawyer and by a tire practice on talk radio. And they, you know, another reason why they claim that my cell phone batteries died and I called back in, you know, I’ve never had a cell phone.

Well, what do you know? Yeah, and there’s a lawyer on and he said, you know, I’ve got a question and he says, I’ll call my office, you know. So, okay, I call his office and they ask, well, you know, we’ll call you back at a particular time and I wait and I wait. They never do call me back. Oh my goodness. So, I call back in, you know, and I say, I got two questions. And I did have two questions.

And the first one was one, why didn’t you call me back? You know, they made the appointment to call me back. but then he didn’t want to hear the second question will you have a question for me today jay giberg well i’d maybe you don’t remember me i called in a while i mean it’s been quite a while now and it had to do with the stab but i’m not a seven-day adventist i’m not worth the doc to you and that’s the i could believe in the actual of the messiah yeah but i do believe that the fourth commandment is you know it’s important it’s not everything but it is something that’s and when i called you a while back i I just kept giving you Bible verses about the Sabbath including even one in Matthew 24.

Sure. The pray to your flight be not on the winter or on the Sabbath day. And after that I just, it was difficult. I thought they got my number and they just wouldn’t let me call back in for a while. Well, well, you know the one in Matthew 24 is again after the rapture during the tribulation period when God has gone back to dealing with Israel. And because Jewish people when the Antichrist turnspectom and is going to try to kill all the Jews in the world, they’re to flee and for that to occur on the Sabbath day, When the Jews again will be observing the Sabbath during the tribulation period It will pose a problem for them to flee on the Sabbath day But that really has nothing to do with us in this present age between Pentecost and a rapture But where should they is clearly been set as

Sunday the Sabbath is still Saturday Bible verse though It’s been the Sabbath is made for man. It’s not made for the Jew. It’s made for the man Well, I’m afraid that it was a covenant between God and Israel. If you read Exodus 32, God said this is a sign between me and the children of Israel forever. It was given to Israel. It came as a part of the law for Mount Sinai. And yes, it was made for man’s benefit to take a day out of the week to rest on that Saturday, on that Sabbath.

But it was not for us, in fact in Colossians Christ, it says, took the ordinances that were against us, that were given amount of Sinai, and nailed it to His cross and took it out of the way. So therefore it says in Colossians 2, 16, let no man therefore judge you in meat or in respect of the holy days or of the Sabbath. So we’re not under the Sabbath today. And if you want to worship on Saturday, that’s just fine.

But how about the Bible or Yahweh himself? He says that Sabbath is made for man. It’s not like me or you saying it. It’s the Bible present. I understand. But he’s talking to Jews there. This is prior to Pentecost. And he’s telling the religious leaders in the temple about how it was made for man’s benefit. question there was whether he could heal on the Sabbath and he broke their tradition concerning the Sabbath. But it was actually a benefit for man and of course Christ healed a man on the Sabbath and he was pointing out the flawed thinking they had about the observance of the Sabbath.

But it’s also a picture of something future. There’s going to be a thousand years when the whole earth will be at peace and that’s going to come up when Christ comes back at a second in the bigger picture of the Sabbath is that big thousand years of peace on earth good will toward men when the price will be really on the earth one view of all these groups is that it’s all been done away with except hiding you ever hear these groups you know if you get right down to it they think all the law has been done away with except tithing well they’re wrong tithing has been done away with too there’s no tithing in the New Testament giving at all So, all of the law has been removed and we’re not under the law.

And if you read Romans, it just hammers it and so does the book of Galatians in the New Testament that we’re not under the law. And it says to the Galatians, how foolish can you be to try to go back under the law? Why do you observe days? And obviously it’s referring to the Jewish holidays and also the Sabbath. Why are you doing that when you’re not under the law anymore? But the early church met on the first day of the week.

Pentecost occurred on Sunday. The early Christians met every week on Sunday. Acts chapter 20 we have Paul preaching to the church. When they came together on the first day of the week it says, 1 Corinthians 16 talks about the Corinthian believers coming together every week on Sunday to worship and so on. And when Paul in the book of Acts would visit a synagogue on the Sabbath it was because He was trying to reach unsaved Jewish people who are still observing the Saturday Sabbath that they do even to this very day.

What is the definition of sin? Sin is really missing the mark. The Greek word. The progression of the law. No, that’s one of the main definitions. The main word for sin in the New Testament means to miss the mark. It means to come short of the righteousness of God. If you are less than as righteous as God, you are excluded from heaven and Revelation 21, 27 says even one lie would keep you out of heaven. So if you have committed any sin, even one lie, you’d be excluded from heaven.

And that’s why Christ’s righteousness, the righteousness of God, is imputed to the believer. When you trust Christ, God sees the believer as righteous as God. Does the Bible prescribe the death penalty for sodomy? Absolutely. You get a new testament. Over a moment it says that though that approved such things are worthy of death. Well that’s true and of course that means what God is going to do. But again a person who is a homosexual can become saved and forgiven but if they commit any sin including just telling a single lie they’re worthy of death.

The wages of sin is death period and if you tell a lie. The Bible says you are excluded from heaven. In fact, that was the verse that really got me saved because I got scared and I paid close attention. I thought to myself who is going to be able to make it into heaven. I didn’t know of anybody that had not told a lie except for George Washington. I thought George would be awful only in heaven being the only one there.

But I discovered that when you trust Christ that God made Christ to be sin for us, Christ who was without sin, 2 Corinthians 5, 21, that we might be made the the righteousness of God in him. So God sees the believer as righteous based upon the substance of Jesus, your payment of the Messiah. You think that the government officials that are that speak on C-SPAN, that they would, if they could volunteer for polygraph tests on C-SPAN, so the American people could see whether the needle jumps.

Wouldn’t that be great? I think that would be a great idea. Thank you, after a run. Thanks for your call. We appreciate you. But obviously the Sabbath is for Israel\\it was a part of the law given from Mount Sinai and now has been removed. But you know, once the Rapture happens, we’re going to be back on Jewish territory. In the last seven years of the tribulation are the last seven years of the Old Testament. And then the Sabbath will be back online and that’s why it says in Matthew 24 that they would have not hoped that the antichrist wouldn’t begin his campaign to kill Jews on the Sabbath day.

We have Madeline down in Bradenton, Florida. Madeline, welcome to Bible A disadvantage in here I think you might be interested209 to hear in the Old Testament Isaiah 53. And it says, who has believed our report? Monstrous to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant and as a root in the dry ground. And he has no form nor comeliness. And when we shall see him there is no beauty that we should desire him.

You’ve got to be ready for the next few minutes. The last thing that I want to do is get a little bit of it. He was despised and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our grief and carried our sorrows, I’m going to do the first thing I want to do is get the first thing I want to do.

yet we did esteem him, stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted, but he was wounded for our transgressions, You’ve got to be able to see how it works. he was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement of up-peace was upon him, and with his stripes we were healed. All we, like sheep, have gone astray. We have turned everyone to his own way, and the Lord has laid on him the iniquities of all of us. The suppressed is an and beautiful chapter and then the whole the whole life of Christ there.

Well, basically from his growing up as a child to become a man and the fact that he would be the substitutionary sacrifice and how we have gone astray, but yet in God’s love he laid our iniquities upon them aside. It’s a great passage and certainly I hope you all will consider Isaiah 53 as a wonderful passage about his Messiah. I’ve actually written about 700 and something years before Christ came the first time. Seven hundred years before. Yeah. And it goes on to even tell how he was buried.

Oh yeah and killed or crucified with thieves on either side. It’s just a very incredible perhaps passage. I say it talked into a Jewish. Chapter 53. Yep. Well thank you pastor. Thank you for being concerned for Harold. I hope he’s listening because obviously a lot of people care about him and he’s won a lot of hearts. We just hope he’ll trust the Lord is this. Yeah. Amen. Be on. Amen. All right. Could you keep me on pastor if you hang up?

Sure. Okay. We’ll keep you on the air and we’ll have our operator pick you up. We’re going to go ahead and go now to. Let’s see here. We’re going to go to Jose in Seminole, Florida and Jose welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air Yes, hello Hank. Hi Jose Hey, good morning. How are you? Good. Listen to that gentleman. I had a question, but I was also looking for the gentleman about the Sabbath and, you know, other Old Testament Commandments.

He was bringing up and I just thought it’s interesting because I used to keep the Sabbath myself before I got saved. Just wanted to say what a freedom, what a difference. And when you find out that Jesus is a God. is our rest. And it’s a 24-7 rest, not just a rest on one day. I think this, you know, it seems like a nice guy and everything, but he was like I was several years ago thinking that keeping a certain day or time for God was what would find, you know, favor with God would find favor with God for that particular individual.

And it’s not what, you know, you made this comment, it’s not what we do for him, it’s what he does for us that gives us the favor in bad eyes. And he’s got to come to that point where he puts his trust completely in Jesus and and also be careful about what you’re mentioning about dispensations. A lot of times that word I think can confuse these people and they think that they give that word the credit that deserves. There are time periods where God treats and requires different things of them.

Like right now we’re the time of grace. And Paul is the one who is the apostle for this time. He gives specific directions on how we should treat each other and live in this world. Whereas at the time of Moses, it was totally different. It had many different types of commandments for how to govern yourself and how to live. Wouldn’t you agree? Absolutely. And again, the age of law, the began amount sign is not over, it will begin again once once the rapture happens and the last seven years of law will take off the clock and then the again they’ll be obligated to observe the commandments.

Exactly. And he’s just got to put his trust completely in Christ and I can rest now, it’s every day. Along with giving, giving is something you do every day according as you are able. A lot of people are looking for that specific direction on how to give and it’s not given in this time of grace. Not expects us to give every day whether it’s prayer, whether it’s our finances or whether it’s physical, you know, helping out a neighbor, whatever it is, you know, and it’s not a locked-in set of rules like it used to be.

And it’s from the heart. It’s not under the law. Exactly. spirit can make it from the heart we live. We let Jesus live in us, if it’s set of rules, Christ lives in us. And you know, my question today though, is have to change the subject so quickly. Yes. Before. Remember when Paul was talking to the Corinthians in 1 Corinthians about how he was a little upset with the situation involving baptism with a few of the different families in the church there.

Yes. And he says, I’m glad I didn’t baptize any more than I did. He was really angry. Yeah. He was upset. Yes. And then he goes on to say that Christ sent me not to baptize, which I thought was astounding. Well, really, because obviously the gospel was the major thing that he was to a great share and we as well. It’s the great commission. Baptism is not the great commission, but the great commission is preached to gospel and to win people to Christ.

And in baptism is one of the two ordinances I believe Christ is left with the church and it’s on a lower level of importance than that of salvation. That’s why he could say, I thank God that a baptized none of you, but Christmas and Gayson, one other family. And because they were divided over it. Some were saying, I’m better than you are because Paul baptized me. And others said, no, Peter baptized me. So I’m better than you are because Peter is greater than Paul or whatever.

And it caused a lot of division in that early church. And he said, that wasn’t the intention of baptism. And so therefore I’m glad I just didn’t have any pardon of this dissension by having baptized. But just a couple of the families there. I heard that in the 1800s.twitter.com. If you were councill.com. If you were baptized like into a particular church like say the Baptist church was in your area. You could use that baptismal certificate to get a mortgage at once at that particular time in this country.

I didn’t know that. It’s interesting. You never heard that? No. It’s pretty interesting. But what I wanted to say is, you know, and I was thinking about this the other day. It ties with us. If the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit doesn’t baptize us upon belief, then we’re really not saved. So the baptism that we should look to and look forward to and what and desire is he, the Holy Spirit, baptizing us. Right. Which happens as the moment of belief for every believer.

So it’s not something that we have to say, well I hope I get it before I die. If you’re a believer you have received it and it says the first screen is 1213. by one spirit are we all baptized into one body so we have it. Jose thanks if I was great insight and we do pray for Jacob that if he’s trusting in the law and observing the Sabbath to get to heaven that you recognize that Jesus alone is the Savior and there is no other way.

We’re going to Fred up in Richmond, Virginia. Fred welcome to Bible in your own ear. Oops we have a Daltown there and we’re going to go now to Dr. Anonymous up in the plant city. Dr. Nomas welcome back. How you doing Dr. Harris? Oh right. Hey, I thought you’d go on to get with you but I’ve been busy working man so people have to work for living you know. Well look at that.

If you had a few collars talking about establishing stuff and I’ve reached you know I do a lot of things you say you know I’m not just coming in just finding things just really. And not about not the thousands of you here correct, we’re not under that law anymore. But I would have sent you, you know, you know the bottom of the real good. Now, when mothers spoke at their commandments in the in the penitube, the second book in the penitube, and then you come back in the smock the gospel, okay, only one epistle spoke of that new commandment.

The other three epistles I would ask you, Mark, in Luke, a Luke is only starting to land with Father Chan, and Matthew and Mark are only six commandments of the Chan, and there are two small ones, the 13th chapter, and Mark, this is only six, and neither one of those have the established in that. Well, that’s very interesting, Dr. Lawrence. So, we don’t want to let this just go, please be out. So just like you were saying, we’re not on that line.

If we were going to the law, we’re going to the cells. And if I had to go to the emergency room and the doctor was the same man, then it’s just going to have a major problem. Thank you for sharing that with us. OK. I know you’re busy. I got to go. I’ll tell him if you like it. You take care. He has reappeared, Dr. Anonymous. We have Kenneth in Arcadia, Florida. Wow. I believe you’re the first one calling in from Arcadia.

Did I remember? Kenneth, are you listening out of Fort Lauderdale? No, I’m listening out of this station from Tampa. I’m listening to 570. Is that right? Wonderful. I’m glad you’re able to catch it down in Arcadia. Yeah, well, here it is. Well, listen, I know it’s getting near cutoff time here for you, but you know, this heel bar, stripes, things that a lot of folks jump to in Isaiah, the 53rd chapter. Yes. When you look at the context of that thing, 3rd, 4th, I’m of the opinion of studying quite a bit of studying and I have some Kenneth Whis books.

Do you know him? Absolutely a Greek scholar. Right and I do. I don’t speak Greek but I take his ex of Jesus very seriously. Okay. And in this thing where it’s healed by our stripes, doesn’t that mean in our times when what we have after I get the feeling that that means that we are healed like our enmity between man and Christ when you accept Jesus Christ. Yeah, it’s talking about our sins having been cleansed by Christ and we’re healed of the sin of the disease of sin which causes us to go to hell.

And ultimately in heaven we’re going to get perfect bodies that are sinless and we’ll have no sickness and no death and so on. But it’s not talking about our common cold or other ailments we might have in our body now it’s talking about being healed of the penalty of sin which is death to go to hell. Christ the pay for our sins at the cross. Absolutely. Well, that’s the thing. I know that the Lord can heal, but basically the healing was back there.

For the Jewish people at the time of Acts and Pentecost, and I feel that healing is like I’ve said, and like we’re healed from our sinful nature. The sinful nature will always have, but we’ve been healed as far as when you accept Jesus Christ, as far as our communion and fellowship and salvation. Well you’re absolutely right. I would thoroughly agree with you on that. I’m so glad you’re hearing us down there in Arcadia. By the way, good verses. First Peter chapter 2 verse 24, who his own self bear our sins and his own body on the tree, that we being dead essential live under righteousness by whose stripes you were healed.
