Good morning and welcome to Bible I. It’s great to be with you today. Thanks for tuning in to the broadcast. We look forward to being with you each and every day as we come to you live from Tampa, Florida from our studios here at the Calvary Community Church.

And we hope you’re enjoying Bible and not only at the times when we’re broadcast but also using the internet. You can good our website and hear our programs again and again and again.

We are amazed at how many people download our programs in the MP3 format. We were looking at some stats, back to July, or rather the month of June the last day of the month we had 29,000 downloads of that program. That was amazing. We were just shocked that that many people would download the program. In any case, we’re glad to be with you today and the Bibleline website address is BibleLineMinistries.org dot org or dot com Bibleline Ministries dot org or dot com and we want to welcome all of you today to the program wherever you might be listening from.

Phones are already ringing. If you’d like to call us, again, that’s 1-800-576-3771. And we’ll get you up on the air or take your question off here. And we’ll try to get to it. We have a lot of offer questions here, so maybe this will be a day when we can get to a lot of those and get them answered. Tomorrow is Tuesday, and we’ll be having the Gospel of John class that I’m teaching. And we are still in this.

We thought we could finish it, but I just didn’t want to not cover it thoroughly. So we’re not racing. And we will meet again tomorrow night. It will be class 15 and 16. I mean, 16 hours. That’s the longest we’ve ever spent on any book in the Bible. But we’re going to finish it up and we’ll keep you informed. But if you’re in the area, you’re welcome to come and sit in. If you’re taking this class on the internet, you’ll be able to catch us live tomorrow night on the internet and we’re going to do something special.

This coming Sunday morning at nine o’clock till ten o’clock Eastern time, we’re going to do a special discussion about the rapture on the internet and it’ll be such that you can interact with us live during that presentation with your computer and submit questions and you’ll be able to see me answering those questions on that particular broadcast every Sunday morning between 9 and 10 the 9th of September and it will be an interactive discussion. We believe we are getting close to the Rapture.

If the Lord were to come this year, it probably would be next week on the 12th of September. So we thought it would be interesting to field questions about the Rapture on Sunday the 9th and we’ll do that between 9 and 10. That will be live. Then we’ll go ahead and loop that and play it again so you’ll be able to watch it between 10 and 11. Then at 11 you’ll be able to catch my morning worship service live.

So just stick with us on a Sunday morning. So that’s coming up right around the corner next Sunday. We’ll do a special thing. We’re thinking that we’re just practicing too because we think we’ll be doing a lot more of these kind of like seminars over the internet where you can actually tune in and get the special seminar time teaching and interact with us and ask your questions live. I’m excited about it. I think it ought to be a lot of fun.

Well, we’re going to get into the Bible for a few minutes and then we’ll be taking our callers today. And so if you have a question, go ahead and call now and you can get on the line up here to be taken. A lot of confusion nowadays, it seems like the Bible is clear, but amazing. I think the majority of Christianity is teaching a counterfeit message. I would say most of Christianity is teaching a counterfeit message. Most people are adding works to salvation, and therefore they have made the same thing.

made the message of Christ of none effect, and these people will not be saved. You know, I never forget a number of years ago, I was in a Christian bookstore, and I overheard a discussion in the next aisle where somebody said to the other person, you can fall from grace. Well, I just couldn’t stand it. I had to walk around and I said, excuse me, I happen to hear over here your conversation how you can fall from grace. You know where that’s found in the Bible.

Well, neither one of them knew. And I said, you know what it’s talking about? And they said, yes, it’s talking about losing your salvation. And I said, could we take a look at a Bible and let’s talk about what it really does say? And it’s not talking about salvation. You can fall from grace, but you cannot fall from salvation. Let me say that again. you can fall from grace but you cannot fall from salvation. Falling from grace, if you read the context, is talking about people that are attempting to be saved by their works and because they’re rejecting grace, which is the absence of any works, and they’re trying to be saved by works, they are fallen from grace and therefore will not be saved at all.

I’m going to turn to Galatians 5-4 where this verse is found and you’ll find it I think very interesting Galatians 5-4 says Christ has become of no effect unto you Well, you never would want that to happen to you because if Christ doesn’t count For you at all. He has no effect for you You’re gonna go to hell. That’s just the bottom line. So Christ has become of no effect unto you and then it tells us Who or whom are those that Christ will count nothing for?

And it says here, whose whoever of you are justified by the law or by works. So anybody who’s attempting to be saved by works, Christ will count nothing for them. I’m telling you, if you’re trusting in Christ plus baptism, you’re not saved. If you’re trusting in Christ plus church membership, you’re not saved. If you’re trusting in Christ plus confirmation, you’re not saved. If you’re trusting in Christ plus the Mass, you’re not saved and it goes on and on and we could list dozens of things that people are adding as a means of salvation and Christ will count nothing for you.

That’s what it’s saying here. Galatians 5-4, look it up for yourself. Christ has become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law or by works, and then it says you are fallen from grace. Grace and salvation are not the same thing. This is where people go wrong. And over in the book of Titus we have a wonderful verse that makes that very, very clear. I’m going to turn there to the book of Titus. And what a great verse this one is.

Titus 2.11, a favorite of mine. It says here, for the grace of God. Titus 2.11, for the grace of God, the bringeth salvation. The grace of God that bringeth salvation has appeared to all men. Notice here it tells us that grace is salvation, but grace brings salvation. It’s kind of like the water pipe that brings water into your home. The water pipe is not the same as the water. If you got thirsty, you wouldn’t bite on the faucet. You’d turn the faucet, allow the pipe to bring the water into the house, of the house and then hopefully collect that water in a cup or a glass and then drink it.

But the water and the pipe that brings the water, not the same thing, well grace is like the conduit that brings salvation to someone. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and grace brings salvation and when you place your faith in Christ you’ve turned the spigot in a sense and you’ve allowed God’s grace to flow and you have received God’s salvation which is by grace. We are saved through faith. But you will find here that it says in Titus 2, 11, the grace of God that bringeth salvation has appeared to all men.

Isn’t that wonderful? You know, God wants for everybody to be saved and it’s appeared to all men but not all men are saved. Why? Because many will reject the grace of God and when you reject the grace of God by attempting to be saved by your works. You are fallen from grace. So who is the one that’s fallen from grace, the one who’s attempting to be saved by works and works are the opposite of grace? Romans 11, 6 says, If I Grace, then it’s no more of works.

Otherwise, grace is the more grace. But if it be of works, then it’s no more grace. Otherwise, work is no more work. You might be saying, What did he say? Well, that’s a wonderful verse. Romans 11, 6, I just quoted. It’s really saying that grace and works are the exact opposites and they, it really defines for us the fact that grace is without works or the absence of any works. It says, if by grace, then it’s no more of work.

Otherwise, grace is a grace by definition. In other words, right now it’s daytime outside, Well, at least this side of the earth. And since it’s daytime, it can’t be nighttime. Otherwise daytime wouldn’t be daytime. You follow me. But if it were nighttime, then it couldn’t be daytime. Otherwise nighttime wouldn’t be nighttime. What I’m saying here is it can’t be daytime and nighttime at the same time. Did you get it? Well, that’s what the Bible is saying about grace and works.

Grace and works are opposites just like daytime and nighttime. And if you have grace, then you can’t have works. Because grace is the opposite of works, it’s the absence of works. And so if you attempt to be saved by the law or by works, then you’re fallen from grace because you have rejected the grace of God that brings salvation which hath appeared to all men. God wants for everybody to be saved, for God still loves the world. He gave His only Me, God and Son, to die for all of us.

And if you believe or you trust in Christ, then you’ll not perish but you’ll have eternal life. But if you’re going to attempt to be saved by works or Christ plus works, Christ will count nothing for you. That’s scary. That is scary. And I’m pleading for souls. I’m not splitting hairs. Some people say, well, you’re splitting hairs. No. I’m talking about the difference between whether you’re saved or lost, whether you go to heaven or hell. This is major, major.

And yet most of those who claim that they are Christian don’t get it. And they’re teaching a false message because they are saying that you have to just trust Christ and that would lead to a life of sin. Why people would just run out and commit crimes and rob banks and everything else. That isn’t what happens. This wonderful message has set people free. I have had so many of them that I have led to Christ that are serving the Lord on at least five continents right now.

There are people that are missionaries and pastors and Bible teachers and it’s just amazing. I know the head of a Bible college over there in Europe. I led his wife to Christ and they are faithfully serving over there in Denmark, heading up a Bible college. there for 25 years that I’ve been discipled and led to Christ. They’re all over the world, all over the world, and all over the United States. And it’s amazing. They know that you don’t have to do any works to be saved.

But they’re working because they’re so grateful. And this is what the love of God is all about. The love of Christ constrains us to live for Christ, to serve Him, not to be saved, but because we are saved. We’re so grateful that We want to tell others this good news. If you read on here in Galatians 5 and verse 5, if you have your Bible open, it says, it changes here. It says, we, now the writer of Galatians, which is the Apostle Paul, says here in verse 5, we through the spirit, wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

Paul said, we’re saved by faith. these in verse 4 are trying to be saved by works and they’re falling from grace and Christ will count nothing for them. I want you to know something interesting in verse 4. It’s saying you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you. In verse 5 it says we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, study the Bible.

Verse 4 is talking to you and who are the you in verse 4. It’s the ones that Christ counts nothing for. It defines them as being the ones that are trying to be saved by the law by works and these are the ones that are followed from grace. But Paul contrasts those that are lost in verse 4 with those that are saved in verse 5 where He says, We though, we the believers, through the Spirit, were waiting for the hope of righteousness or the expectation of righteousness by faith.

We’re going to find ourselves before God standing righteous based upon Christ’s death, by grace we have been saved, through faith. And this salvation is not of ourselves. It’s the gift of God. It’s not of works. Let’s say he mentioned those Ephesians 2 8 confirms exactly what we’re reading right here. But this salvation is not of ourselves. It’s the gift of God. And it’s not of works. Let’s say he managed to do this. Well, guess what? This is Monday. It’s the third of September.

We’re live. And the throne of New Orleans is 1-800-5. 5763771, this is not a repeat, this is a live show. This is Monday, September 3rd, we are live, and the phone number to dial in is 1-800-576-3771. We’re talking about falling from grace. We’re talking about Galatians 5-4, where it defines it or talks about it. Those that are falling from grace are those that are lost who reject grace because they’re trying to be saved by works. As I said a moment ago, if you’re trying to be saved by Christ plus baptism, baptism is nothing for you, you go to hell.

If you’re trusting in Christ plus the Mass, you’re lost. You’re headed for hell because you’re trying to add works to what Christ did. If you’re trusting in Christ’s information, you’re lost. You’re going to hell. You’re fallen from grace. Christ will count nothing for you. If you’re counting on Christ plus prayer to save you. You’re not saved. You’re going to hell because you’re trusting in works and you’re following from grace. Christ will count nothing for you. Verse 5 says the true believer.

We, we, we, we, we, in contrast to you, you, you, you. Look at it for yourself. Take your pen. Mark verse 4, relations646. And notice frivol, It says, you, you, you, you, you warr It’s talking about those that Christ will count nothing for, those that are fallen from grace, those that are working their way to salvation. It says they’re not going to make it Christ will count nothing for them. Verse 5 says, we, we, we, we, we, we, talking to the believer that we are waiting for this expectation of being righteous in the sight of God and being able to live in heaven forever based on faith.

Faith in what Jesus Christ did force at the cross. It’s amazing, but people are not getting it right. The Bible is so clear, there’s no mistaking what it says. But I’m amazed even when you read commentaries, they don’t seem to be able to bring out the truth that I just shared with you today. If you want a copy of today’s program you can call and ask that we can ship it out. ship it out you can also hear it on the internet as long as it as often as you like because uh…

this program will go into our cabin be there for maybe a year or more who knows we’re going to go to the phone lines of the ganglinson this is by blind we are live at september third it’s monday and phone was one eight hundred five seven six three seven seven one we’re going to go now to david and st pete’s bird and david welcome to by one year on the air In John 3, in Nicodemus, I’m just wondering if you could comment on that.

It doesn’t say that. You just misread it. You cannot find the word baptize in that chapter. It says, except to man be born, B-O-R-N, B-O-R-N of water and of the Spirit. There’s a tremendous difference between being born and being baptized. And STATES, if you Krug know the difference, you’ve got a big problem because if you are going to be baptized, would you go to the hospital? Probably not. If you’re going to bear a child, would you go to the church to bear the child?

Now you’d probably go to the hospital. Tremendous difference here. So David, what it’s saying here is that you have to have two births, eventually they’re having the first birth you’ve already had. That’s called the birth of water. And the birth of water is where you’re enclosed in a second water in your mother’s womb. And as you’re about to be born, that water sack breaks and out you come and here you are now brought into this world by a physical flesh birth.

Christ said you need a second birth, you need to be born again, that’s a spirit birth, and that happens when you trust Christ as Savior. Notice the very next verse Jesus says that which is born of the flesh is flesh, you already have that one David. When you came into this world the water sack in your mother’s womb broke, you came out in this world, you’ve had the birth of water. Now, Christ says you have to have a second birth which is the birth of the Spirit.

When you trust Christ, you become born again. It says in 1 John 5 1, who’s to ever believe it that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, is born of God. So you’re born of God. You’re born again when you trust Christ as your Savior. Verse 7 of John 3, Jesus said, Marvel not that I said unto thee, you must be born one. Again, you’ve already had the first birth. Now you need the second one. And so many people use that verse to prove baptism and people get used to thinking it’s about baptism that they don’t even notice that the word baptize doesn’t even occur in the chapter.

Hope that helps David and thank you for your call. Okay, well it’s possible but it would be wrong. I mean obviously an unbeliever Shouldn’t be baptized because True water baptism is a testimony on the part of the believer that they have believed in a conclensive or sin by the blood of Christ and The water is a symbolic expression of that, but believe it or not. I believe that millions are unsaved who are baptized and they’re going to go to hell even though they’ve been baptized.

There might be members of the church. They might be faithful in working and going to church and giving. But unless you trust Christ and Christ alone, you will not make heaven, David, and that’s the key. And it seems to be missed by so many. Jesus said it, and we just talked about it a minute ago, that I’m the way, the truth in the life. And he says, he that believeth on me has everlasting life. Say if to trust on Christ to be saved.

They’ll still go to heaven. They’ll still go to heaven. You know that when the two thieves were crucified with Christ, the one thief that believed was saved and he was never water baptized Christ said today, they also be with being paradise. He didn’t say, you know, I’d really like to see you go to heaven. I just I like you a lot but we can’t get you baptized because you’re nailed to this cross and there’s no way I’m going to get you down and get you baptized and get you back up here on this cross and let you die.

So that’s obviously a crazy scenario but that’s an illustration. Everybody saved the way that dying thief was saved and that’s just my faith alone. Well great David. Thank you. All right that was David and now we have Gene in St. Petersburg. Gene welcome to Bibleline your own ear. Dr. Leistro. I was watching a BET Black Entertainment Network last night and they had a topic of comparing mega churches, these black mega churches to the small family church. And they had this pastor on the who drives a Rolls Royce.

I think he was then the college like worth 350,000. And the guy asked me, he said, well, don’t you think it’s wrong that, you know, he says, you got, remember, British me, notsembly. And this guy kept quoting this, it please be asked, 10, 19. The Bible says you got to have money, you know, to make money or something like that. And turning their, what chapters are they getting in chapter 10? Yeah, 10 and then verse 19. A feast, is that it?

A feast is made for laughter and wine makes merry but money answer all things? Yeah. Obviously, he’s misusing that verse. Obviously, his focus is wrong. If you’re a believer, if we’re to become disciples, Christ had followed me and I’ll make you fishers of men. It seems like he’s fishing for money and not for men. We should be concerned about souls and getting him saved. Nowhere is the Bible ever telling us that we’re going to be healthy and wealthy and prosperous.

But rather it says that all those who live God in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. So we’re going to have opposition if we preach the true message of the gospel and it’s not going to be easy. Yeah, and the guy who was the host, he was saying, well, I don’t think that’s fair for preacher to have an airplane, so he could fly to one service, you know, and then fly to lations, and he was talking about the commercial alliance and the act of the gospel.

the ladies you know and i think well they rationalize it all away and uh… gene i tell you there’s a lot of it today i think we’re living in the last days and jesus in ninety twenty four when asked what it would be like just before he would return he said uh… do not be deceived uh… because uh… uh… there will be many deceivers in the last days and i think we see uh… the majority of those that are probably out there are deceiving.

In any case, thank you Gene for that call. We appreciate that. We hope that you will keep listening and pass this word along to your friends. And of course, we’re going to go to breakdown. We’ll come back and do a second half hour Bibleline. So stay tuned for that. And join us for Bibleline Part 2. If you haven’t helped Bibleline out, we just entered into September. But we certainly could use your help. We need your prayers and we need your gifts.

We don’t have any other means of supporting the program than your gifts. We don’t have any pledges. We don’t have a piggy bank. We don’t have a reserve account. We just trust God from day to day and week to week. It’s been an amazing ride to watch how God has supplied and expanded and allowed us to be reaching all over the world, especially through the Internet. We thank God. We are a low budget because we don’t pay any salaries and we’re trying to get this message!: If you would want to be a part of that and help us you could call in and give a gift to Bible and by credit card And we’re gonna be right back.

Don’t go away. We’ll do another half hours. So stay tuned here to Bible and Don’t go away Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771 That’s 1-800-576-3771 All right, this is by the line. I’m Dr. Anker Einclinser and it’s great to be with you today. Thanks for tuning in. Hopefully you’re enjoying the program and maybe it’s a leisurely day for you. Maybe you can take time to call and ask a question you’ve been waiting to ask.

We have a lot of off-air and we’re going to try to get to some of those. I keep saying that, but we will. And so be patient. If you have a question that just can’t wait, call us and get up on the air with us. We’d love to talk to you and try to get your question answer today. But we’re live. It’s September 3rd. It’s a Monday and we are glad to be with you today. By the way again, we hate to talk about money.

If I didn’t need to, I would talk about it at all. I guess if I had enough money in my pocket to pay it all, I would do it myself. But you know, I think it’s God’s plans for us to work together as a team and will share in the blessings and rewards as we serve the Lord. As you give the Bible, you will share in the results of this program as we reach out to people. We get so many wonderful notes for people that tell us how much they appreciate the Bible Eye and Program.

We hope that you are enjoying and listening. If you could help us, it would be great. for sure and also we want you to know that if you could help us financially that would really be great. You can do that by credit card over the phone. You can also call in the ask for an envelope to be sent with our address on it and send a gift by mail. But again call it 800-100-175-63771 and we hope that you will pray for us and maybe help us out financially.

We’re going to do a second and a half hour here of Bibleline and if your station isn’t carrying that you can go to the internet and catch the full program but most everywhere they carry the full program and some stations actually play the program at different times of the day extra and that’s kind of neat so we’re excited about that. You pray for all of our listeners as well. We thank God for all of you and you are special to us.

We thank God for the relationship. I just love meeting you folks. If you ever come into town, please come by and say hi. I had a lady from New York tell me that she needed to be baptized and she didn’t have a church to baptize her. I said, well, come on down and we’ll do it. She said, I’m coming. So I think she’s bringing her family down to Florida and we’ll be baptizing her here in Tampa. In any case, we just love to meet our listeners and try to do what we can to help you.

We’re going to join the other stations now that have been on break and do the second half hour Bible ends to keep you radio right where it is. And here we go with Bible End Part 2. Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lynch from a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Alright, we’re back for now breaking this is 9-blind. It’s Monday, September 3rd.

This is live, not I? rerun and if you have a question you’re welcome to call in and we’ll kind of get to it today again We are still teaching the gospel of John tomorrow night if you’re in the area come out sit in It’ll be class 15 and 16. This is gonna become the longest Series that I’ve done and it might turn out to be I don’t know maybe a 20 hour series all together We’ll offer it as gospel of John part one ten hours and gospel of John part two ten hours and we’re excited.

By the way, next Sunday we’re gonna do do an experiment. We believe the Rapture is coming soon. I don’t know what year he’s coming, but it could be on the Feast of Trumpets. And if that happens, it’ll be September 12th, which is right around the corner. On Sunday morning, September 9th at 9 o’clock for an hour, we’re going to do a special webcast talking about the Rapture. And we’re going to have it be interactive where you can submit your questions and I’ll answer them.

And you’ll be able to watch me answer the questions live between the between 9 and 10 this coming Sunday at September 9th. And we’re trying to experiment. We might do this more often if it’s well received. And we are gonna do this one on Sunday morning, but we may do these on Saturday night or some other time, and we’ll just try to see what works best. But give it a shot. Tune in Sunday morning on the website, goodbyelineministries.org or .com.

Click on the camera and that will come live right at 9 o’clock Sunday morning and for our we will be discussing the Rapture which if this is the year would happen just a couple days after. So I think it will be fun to be fun. I think we will enjoy it and I am not saying Christ will come back this year but if he does this will be exciting to talk about it just before he does arrive to snatch us out of here.

So check that out. Just click on the camera on the home page and do that at 9 o’clock Sunday morning. That will be an hour discussion with live interaction with you and answering your questions. And then from 10 to 11 we’ll loop it and play it again. And then 11 will have our morning sermon and you’ll be able to catch that as well. So it’ll be a full morning. And we’re just experimenting to see what works and what people enjoy.

And we want to do more with the internet. So we might do some seminars and Bible teachings where you can be in your home and catch us and have that interaction with me. You can watch me answer the questions as we do that. So if that sounds like something exciting to you next Sunday morning, join us. We’ll probably put it up there in our time for you to watch it during the week if you can’t catch it. We don’t want you to leave.

If you have a good sound Bible Church, we don’t want you to abandon your church to do this. But if you don’t, then please do join us for that. Again, Bible, I certainly need your financial help and your prayers. Pray for us. And we’re just so grateful for everybody who prays for us. I’ll tell you. We really believe that God answers prayer and your prayers mean a lot to me and to those who are here with us at Bibleline headquarters.

And by the way, your gifts also. We really are totally dependent upon you because we have no other source of income and your gifts keep us on the air. And we’re excited about what God is doing with a little bit. It’s almost like the widow’s might when you talk about some of the big ministries that are out there. We really run tight and lean. We don’t pay any salaries. All the money really goes to pay radio time and satellite time and equipment time and phone bill time and all that kind of stuff.

But otherwise, I think more is done for your investment than any other program. I’m not knowing of any others that are doing what we’re doing, but a lot of people are amazed. Now this show is coming to you live right now and there’s just two of us doing it. James is over here at the phones answering the phones and I’m here behind the microphone and it’s just God and James and I and here we are bringing by the line to you.

So we have low overhead and obviously no salary so we can do more with what came in here. I think if some of the larger ministries just gave us 1% of their income we could be worldwide. be on broadcast stations everywhere in the world. But God has been gracious to let us grow. And it’s because of people like you who see the need and want to be a part of that. And thank God for you. God bless you. We definitely appreciate you and we thank you for your prayers and your gifts.

And we now are going to go to the phone lines. This is Bibleline. I’m Dr. Ankerman. This is live. It is September 3rd. It is Monday. And we’re glad you’re with us. We’re going to go to Roger. He’s in Mobile, Alabama and Roger, welcome to Bibleline. You’re on the air. Yes, I’ve been watching this sad story of Larry Craig unfold in the media this week. It kind of really irritated me. These Christian values, advocates that are preaching, you reaching the do’s and don’ts and so forth.

And I looked at Larry Craig and it seems to me I was kind of looking at an empty and how important it is for the message that you’re sharing to get out that you must be born again. And trust in Christ that values isn’t going to save you. How many people are deceived into thinking that by Christian values alone one can be saved. But on the other hand the church of Galatia I think Paul was preaching to a church church that had been saved many of them.

But he says are you so foolish having begotten the spirit are you now made perfect by the flesh. that many of them were saved, but then they were trying to incorporate in their worship works along with their salvation. And they hadn’t realized that the same power and grace and Holy Spirit that saved them is the one that perfects them as well. So I thought I’d add that, but I was minded in this lyric, Craig’s story, and I hear so many people get on air preaching Christian values, but not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

You’re really right and it’s a shame because somebody once said and it stuck with me all my years now that God did not leave us here to make this world a better place to go to hell from. Our major objective is to rescue people, to snatch them from the fire, to prevent them from going to hell by giving them the gospel and letting them know how they can be eternally saved once they trust Jesus as their Savior. And I think most people are focused in the wrong direction.

They’re not carrying out the Great Commission. It’s become the forgotten commission. Thank you. Thank you and God bless you over there in Mobile, Alabama. And let’s see here. We have Mack in PACE Florida. Mack, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Yes, Dr. Linson. I just have one question. What is… I’m sorry. I just lost my call. I’m sorry. Okay. Go ahead. That was somehow we got lost. Okay. I heard you mentioned covenant theology. So, I’ve never heard of it.

What is covenant theology? Covenant theology breaks the Bible into just two covenants. The Old Covenant and the New Covenant, similar to the Old Testament, New Testament. Basically, it doesn’t explain all the different things that God is doing as far as his purposes with Israel and with the Church and so on. Generally, covenant theology misses the fact that there are numerous ages or dispensations, which the Bible clearly teaches. I think the Bible teaches that there are eight major covenants and there are seven major dispensations.

If you just try to explain the Bible based on the covenants, I think you missed the plan of God over the past 6,000 years. We’re about ready to enter into the 7,000 years, which is the millennium. millennium and many in covenant theology don’t even acknowledge that. So generally they go astray in interpreting the Bible because they just see it through two covenants and they miss the fact that by the way everybody’s always been saved the same way. Nobody’s ever been saved by works or by keeping the first covenant which was the law.

That was simply to show us the avar need of salvation, but everybody from Adam on was saved by grace and saved by faith in Jesus. That’s right. Adam was saved through faith in the coming Messiah. They were told about Jesus in Genesis 3.15 about the seed of the woman that would come that would be the Savior that would defeat Satan and crush his head one day. And certainly Jesus is that Messiah, that Savior. Hope that helps and thank you so much for calling in.

We now have Anne in Pensacola, Florida and welcome to Bibleline You’re on the air. Yes, sir. Good morning. God bless you. Could you please come in on in the Bible of the marriage bed is on the sound. I’m not sure where it’s found and I’ll hang up and listen. I sure will. And that is in Hebrews 13, 4, and 5. And it tells us there in Hebrews 13, 4, that the marriage bed is in the file. Basically, that whatever two in the marriage bed do as a married couple, consensually is okay with God.

I believe that’s pretty much it. That sex is to be done within marriage and not outside of marriage. And the marriage couple are there undefiled before God because they’re able to enjoy each other in a sexual way in marriage but not outside of marriage. So it’s basically that. I hope that helps and thank you for calling in from Pensacola, Florida. We now have Robert in Daytona, Florida. Robert, welcome to my blog. Thank you. Robert, you’re on the air. Yes, Hank, I appreciate your program.

I’m a new time listener, but I agree with your theology. I’ve gone into this theology. I was like, my question is, I would like to ask you two related questions. One question will all born again, saints, at Jesus coming for his church. And number two, expound on pre-trib rapture, think our pastor was teaching at our church, Since then things have been moving to change that around to the proper orthodox Once they’ve always saved Amen, well, thank you Robert and the answer is yes every born-again believer every safe person That’s living when Christ returns will be Raptured out the partial rapture theory is based upon works That some are worthy of being raptured and others are not worthy of rap being raptured and so some are going to be left behind that are saved because they haven’t been living for Christ.

Let me give you a great verse and I think this is a good one that’s in 1st Thessalonians and this is in chapter 5 and it says in verse 10 about Christ who died for us that whether we wake or sleep we should live together with Him. Waking or sleeping there has to do with whether you’re serving or not serving the Lord. Some Christians are awake and are living and serving and are vigilant and are doing what they need to do for the Lord every day and others are asleep at the switch and not aware of their spiritual responsibilities and are not doing what they ought to be doing.

And so whether you awake or whether you are sleeping, you are going to live together with Christ and you will be caught up with him in the previous verses or talking about the rapture that he has not appointed us in verse 9 to wrath but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. He tells us in the next verse, verse 10, that whether you’re waking or whether you’re asleep, this is a, you’re going to be together with Christ. So every believer goes up, the partial rapture again is flawed because it’s based on works.

Our salvation has nothing to do with our works and being in the rapture has nothing to do with our works. It has to do in 1 Thessalonians 414 if we believe that Jesus died and rose again. Then he says you’re going to be in it. It’s quite clear that it’s faith alone in Christ alone and 1 Thessalonians 414 says if you simply believe the gospel message then you are not only saved but you’re going to be in the rapture if you’re living when Christ returns.

So I hope that helps, Robert. Are you still there, Robert? Thank you. All right. Thank you, Ag. Yeah, that was just what I hear you want. And this is my understanding of the whole, what you just went over. Thank you. All right. I have a whole series that I taught on the Rapture 12 hours, 12 CDs. You can order that series. And I covered all the different pre-rapture, partial rapture, mid-tribrapture, post-tribulational rapture, the pre-rath rapture and all the other kind of rapture positions and uh…

certainly uh… uh… the bible is very clear about what happens we’re not going to go to jonathan enrichment of virginia and uh… jonathan welcome to bible and you’re on the air uh… yes i can’t think of the call uh… if you could have found a little bit on uh… i’m thinking about going on out here but of the new world order like You know. Pretty much like the free machinery stuff. And it’s a lot of influential people in high places that seem to be involved in this stuff.

And I wanted you to sit down on this. And this is going to be something that ushers in the Antichrist or, you know, the end day time where it says that it’s going to be one church. It’s going to be like a one church, one religion. Well, there’s so many things at all are in the mix as far as the return of Christ. And I think that’s what I’m going to say. that we are seeing churches kind of blending together today.

And the Bible tells us in Revelation 17 that there will be one world church. And apparently it’ll be headed up in a Rome. And that will be the church that the Antichrist will use to rise the power. And then according to the Bible, the Antichrist will destroy the churches and proclaim that he’s God and the man be worshipped. So I believe that we’re rapidly headed there. The Pope just declared a couple weeks ago that the only true church is the Roman Catholic Church and all others are defective.

And obviously they are the one true church alone can offer salvation. Of course that’s nonsense. That’s not true. And we reject that in the last days and Christ return is rather soon. We’re going to go now to, let’s see here, we’re going to go to Ed in Tampa, Florida. Ed, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Ed, are you know? Hello. Hey, Ed, you’re on the air. All right. Okay. I just have a question in regards to the guy that called Yes.

And you were saying that in valid. Can you explain that in Ephesians what? Revelation 3 16. Sure. Let me go over there and talk about Revelation 3 16. If knows, let me just first skip here in my Bible. I’m turning as rapidly as my Bible allows me to do that. And Revelation chapter 3. in verse 16. It says here, so then, because thou art lukewarm and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth. There he is talking about Christians who are not dedicated to the Lord and serving him, make him want to throw up, or I guess the nicer word is regurgitate.

So it’s just like if you want a refreshing drink, don’t you really want a hot drink, coffee, tea, or something like that, or a cold drink, usually once it’s cold. But when you drink something lukewarm, it almost sometimes can make you kind of nauseous. You don’t want that if you’re out working on a hot day. You want something probably cold to refresh you, not something warm. And if you are out there outside on a cold day, you want some milk.

maybe some hot chocolate or some coffee or tea to warm you up. Price is really saying that and he’s not talking about loss of salvation or not being in the rapture. He’s talking about here loss of reward. He says in verse 18 that he’s counseling them to buy of him gold, tried on the fire that speaks of reward. That you earn rewards you buy that by as you invest your time and your talents and your treasures for God, God will pay you back in the way of rewards in heaven.

But if you don’t, then you’ll suffer the loss of reward. He said this church in verse 17 was thinking that they were rich because materialistic in this world they were rich. But he said spiritually they were bankrupt and they were naked and poor and so on and so on. And they definitely needed to open their eyes up. In verse 19 he tells them to open, anoint their eyes what I said that they may see. true spiritual condition, but there is certainly nothing here in the implication of being cast out or lost.

You know, in John 637, here is a clear verse which you always interpret a difficult verse in a lot of a clear one. In John 637, Christ says, Him that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out. So He will not cast out a believer, but He does, in a sense, take away our privilege of service or cast out believers from the platform of service by their deeds, but salvation is never in jeopardy. I hope that helps a little bit.

Well, I’m not still satisfied because if you read Revelation 3 verses 2, it509 says, You watchful and strengthen the things which remain that are ready to die. But I have not found that it was perfect before God. Remember, therefore, how that has received and heard and whole fact and repent. If, therefore, thou shalt not watch our commande as it is, and thou shalt not know what our hour comes. come upon thee. And then it says thou hast a few names, even in charges which have not defiled your garment, and they shall work with me in white, or they are worthy.

So it does seem to reflect the fact that worthiness is an issue in terms of being accounted to be raptured, since you think? It’s not based upon works. I think you’re mixing things up here. First of all, the verses 1 through 6 in chapter 3 are speaking to the church Sardis. That was a picture of the Reformation Church and the Reformation Church started out great. You know, Martin Luther rediscovered the gospel that were saved by believing the gospel message, the death of the burial and resurrection of Christ.

Martin Luther got saved when he studied the LeCabromans and when he had the verse 16 and 17, he realized that the power of God and the salvation is believing the gospel and he believed it and got saved. And then he tells this church age which each one of these end in failure. We find that today we have people that are living the name of those reformers but they’re not saved. If you ask a person today, are you going to heaven with you?

They might say, well I’m a Lutheran. What does that mean? They have a name that they’re living but they’re not saved. They haven’t trusted Christ. And then others will say, well, I’m a Calvinist or I’m a Wesleyan and they’re living the names of these reformers. I was in a Reformation church and I was proud of my heritage and background and as a part of a Reformation church, but I wasn’t saved. So he’s telling the churches they need to go back to really what the Reformation was all about and you need to trust Christ.

I know when I go to the, I’ve been to the hospital and they have these forms you fill out and they put down, what are you and I put down, I’m a Bible believing, born-again Christian. It freaks them out. They come back and say, no, that isn’t what we want. We want what denomination are you. And I said, what am I? I’m a believer. I’m going to heaven when I die. It gives me an opportunity to witness. But they want to pitch and hold you and put you into some denominational name.

That doesn’t save anybody. And I think that’s what is talking about there and he’s talking about how that the Reformation churches kind of became dead and lost the message that they had started with. And obviously it’s talking about people in those churches that are not saved. I think the majority of people who go to church are lost. I don’t think they’re saved at all. And I think this is what it’s talking about. I hope that helps a little bit, but I need to have more time with you to do this.

You ought to get my series on the Book of Revelation. I’ve got a 12-hour series of the Book of Revelation on tape that’s great, or we can get together sometime and talk further. Where are you calling in from? Tampa, Florida. Tampa, Florida. Maybe we can get together because I need to go through verse by verse with you on this and talk about that. Thanks for your call, but salvation is definitely not based upon works. anywhere and EVENT you don’t understand.

You need to always go to a clear one that you do understand. In Ephesians 2 8 which is very clear it says by grace which means mercy, unmerited favor, are you saved through faith in Jesus Christ. The next phrase says this salvation is not of yourself. The next phrase says it is the gift of God and the next phrase says it is not of works lest any man should boast or brag. sacrificially it is not of It says nothing to do with your behavior, has nothing to do with your conduct.

And I remember a chorus that I learned years ago as a child, only believe, only believe all things are possible if you only believe. But you know the church I was raised in, in my mind, I said they’re really saying only behave, only behave, all things are possible if you only behave. That was what I was being taught. And I found out from the Bible it really was as the hymn writer wrote it or the chorus writer wrote it.

It’s only believed when you trust Christ you become saved. I’ve been living for Christ now for many years. I’m not doing it to be saved or to be raptured. I’m going to be saved by what Christ did for me at the cross. I am saved already by what He did for me at the cross. And when the rapture happens, I’m going to be in it. And it could be a week from now. It could be. Anyway, we’re going to do that special 9 o’clock in the morning webcast.

We hope you’ll join us for that on the 9th of September, Sunday morning. From 9 to 10, you can actually submit your questions, watch me, answer them on the webcast. And also don’t forget we’ll be back again tomorrow. We have classes tomorrow night if you’re in the Tampa Bay area, come by and see us and join us for that. And we are coming up close on the end of the program here if you’ve not trusted Christ. I plead for your soul that you would trust Christ alone without works or you will not make heaven.

I got to run. The Lord is coming. Keep looking up. Jesus is coming. If you can, get back with us again tomorrow. We’ll be back again tomorrow morning. God bless, have a great day. Keep looking up. Jesus is coming. You’ve been listening to Bibleline, a presentation of Bibleline ministries of Tampa, Florida. Your donation to Bibleline makes it possible for this ministry to continue in your area. Then we’ll have this wonderful opportunity to talk about the rapture and answer questions before we are caught up to meet the Lord in the air. The phones have just been ringing off the hook today. We have had so many callers and have not been able to take them all. We also have tons of offer questions. We didn’t even get a chance to get to today. I’m sorry.
