Also, you can click on the camera and be connected to our worship services for the past 45 weeks. Also, you can catch our worship service live on Sunday morning between 11 and 12. You might try that, but you can go back any time you want and catch those sermons in archive.

Also, you can catch our television program by clicking on the television set. Give it a trial run so you’re ready to go and you’ll be able to do that anytime of day any day of the week any day of the month It’s 24 7 150 countries have logged in and we’re excited we hear from people all over the country Got tons of calls yesterday from everywhere from California all across the United States and up and down the East Coast and In the heartland of our country.

We are excited about reaching out to people with the gospel of Jesus Christ and today it seems like more and more there is a famine for the hearing of God’s Word. There is not sound doctrine in the land but it seems like doctrine has been sacrificed today. So we hope that you are listening and we hope you’re enjoying and we hope that you will take advantage of our resources. We just finished the gospel of John 18 hours of teaching and by the way you’re welcome to order those CD series we have the CDs broken into two halves a nice jacket that’s like a book that holds nine CDs the first half and then another one that holds the second half the nine CDs 18 total we broke it up so you could get half at a time $50 a donation to Bible and we’ll get you part one and fifty dollars more we’ll get

you’re part two. So if you want to order all 18, a gift of $100 to my blind will get all 18 hours of teaching. We also have it on DVD and for a little bit more for a gift of $150 you can have all 18 hours video and audio and wow it’s a lot of teaching because the classes really you know sometimes when you talk about an hour class they’re only 50 minutes long. My classes on the gospel of John, each of them exceeded 60 minutes.

Some of them are 65 or 66 minutes. That means when you get 2, that’s 130 minutes. That’s 2 hours and 10 minutes of teaching every 2 hours. So you have that times 18, it’s almost 20 hours of teaching. So you’ll certainly be getting a verse by verse exposition of the gospel of John. I think you’ll enjoy the series and I hope you’ll take advantage. Plus we have the Book of Revelation, the Book of Daniel, the Book of Zachariah, many of the real key New Testament books, the Book of Romans, the Book of Hebrews which confirm many people is very difficult.

We cover all the difficult passages and we hope that you’ll call in and get a resource sheet or take a look in our online bookstore and see the things that are available and use them for your education in the Bible because you can use them in your car when you go to and fro from work. If you’re going on a vacation a lot of people play them while they’re driving across the country and they take advantage of the time.

Many others use them to facilitate a Bible study or a Sunday school class or other group teachings. A one man started the Bible studying his home using my CDs as the facilitator. He told me to build onto his house to accommodate the people that wanted to come and study the Bible. They were using the CDs as the teaching mode. take advantage and maybe you can come up with some creative ideas of how you can use the the CDs and the DVDs.

Of course we have the Bibles, we have commentaries, all things that I recommend that I think will be very helpful to you. And we have tracks, we have evangelistic tools that really work and we hope that you’ll give that a try. This is Friday so I hope you will attend church someplace this weekend. If you don’t have a church home and you are close by, come by and see us on Sunday morning. Also if you want, if you are in a distant place, check out the internet.

You can join our worship service on the internet from 11 to 12. Click on the camera on the home page. All right, we’re going to get into the Bible for a few minutes and then we’ll be taking our callers today, but we’ve been mentioning here some of the phrases that people use that are really not the gospel. The book of Galatians warns about altering the plan of salvation in any way because then it becomes an accursed message. Give your Bible open, turn of view, O Deglation 1, where the Apostle Paul tells us that no one has the authority to change the message.

And yet, preachers take a lot of license to adapt it for however they want to say it. But let me read verse 8. Though we, Paul says, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you, then that which we have preached unto you, let him be a cursed. So we notice here that if Paul even changed the message, he would be a cursed. And if an angel from heaven preached a different gospel, he would be a cursed.

It says, if though we are an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you, then that which we have preached unto you, let him be a cursed. Then in verse 9 he says it again, as we said before, so now we say again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you, then that which you have received let him be accursed. Pretty powerful language. And obviously he’s talking here about the true gospel being perverted by changing it slightly.

You’ll notice here in verse 6 he says, I marvel, I’m amazed, I’m shocked that you are so soon removed from him that Kaldor invited you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel. Then it says in verse 7, which is not another, but there would be some that would trouble you and would what, pervert the gospel of Christ. So how do we pervert the gospel? We pervert it by changing it ever so slightly. All you have to do is add a little bit of works to the gospel and no longer is it a gospel that will save but is it a cursed message?

Let me just say that if you had a glass of pure water, H2O, you wouldn’t hesitate to drink from that glass. But if I were just to drop a little bit of poison in the glass and stir it around and offered it to you. Would you drink it? No, because just that little bit of poison, maybe a drop or less, could contaminate the whole glass so that you no longer have a glass of pure water, but you have a glass of poison.

In the same way, the Bible is saying that if you add any works to what Christ did, that you have poisoned the gospel and it becomes a perverted message becomes an accursed message and the Bible says that it’s a message that will not save. Isn’t that amazing? So all you have to do is add a little bit of works to what Christ has done for us at the cross and you have perverted the message and the message becomes accursed.

We are warned against doing that. We need to be very, very careful that we don’t change what God has said in the Bible. The Bible is very clear that salvation is by grace through faith, and it gives us the illustrations in the book of Galatians of Abraham. Abraham was saved by faith without works. It says in verse 6 of chapter 3, even as Abraham believed, the word believe means the trust. trusted. He said, God gave to him of the gospel, by the way, and it was a Canada hymn for righteousness.

So Abraham was made righteous in God’s sight by simply believing the message of the gospel. Now you say, well, how do you know that? Did you just make that up? No. If you read verse 8 of Galatians 3, it says the scripture for seeing that God would justify the nations through faith preached before the gospel. the gospel of Abraham. Did you hear it? The gospel was preached to Abraham. Abraham believed the gospel, the good news message of the death, the burial, the resurrection of Christ.

Upon believing or trusting that message that Christ would die for his sins, God saved him. It’s that simple. In verse 16 of Galatians 3, it says, He believed on Christ. He actually trusted Christ as his Savior. We shouldn’t be shocked, but many times Christians are shocked. Many times I have somehow thought that people in the Old Testament were saved a different way, maybe by keeping the law, maybe by offering up animal sacrifices. The Bible says in the book of Hebrews, it’s not possible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins.

impossible. Only Christ’s death could pay for sin, and those in the Old Testament look forward to when that would take place, when Christ would die in the future for them on the cross of Calvary, just as we look back to that event now, two thousand years ago, when Christ died for your sins and for mine. And when we trust Him as the only means of our entrance into heaven, then God saves us. That is certainly good, good, good news.

We have lots of off-air questions. We’re going to try to take those today plus your call. And I’m Dr. Ankerenk Lindstrom, and we’re going to go to the phone lines in just a minute. The phone number is 1-800-576-3771. 1-800-576-3771. And if you want to come by and visit with us, we’d love to have you do that any day of the week up till about 4. Also, if you want to come on a worship day, you’re welcome to do that.

If you live too far away, you can join us on the internet and join our worship services, listen to our radio programs, watch our television programs, and so much that can be done on the internet. We just got a call early this morning trying to find a church in Colorado, and we’re not familiar with the territory out there, but if you can’t find one, you can always join our worship services. They’re already there. Forty-five weeks of sermons are sitting there for you to watch at your leisure.

So try the internet and you can catch us that way. And if you don’t have friends that don’t have a radio station in the area that can play the program for you, you can listen on the internet wherever you might be in the entire world. Okay, if you’d like to call us the numbers 1-800-576-3771-1-800-576-3771. I’m going to first go to Jonathan here in Tampa. He leaves an offer question. He says, I have a Jehovah’s Witness friend. I’ve tried to explain the Trinity, gave him all the verses that explain the Trinity, and he still doesn’t understand.

Please help me explain this to him. Well, obviously, they deny the Trinity, and so therefore, you have to shake them loose because they don’t deviate from what the witnesses tell to believe. If they didn’t have the Watchtower Society to keep them in line, they would become saved, I believe. They would see the truth. So you may not be able to reach him. Obviously, I think I would just use maybe one good verse and leave it at that and stick with it until They can explain it satisfactorily for you, but there are so many, many verses about the Trinity.

Certainly, Matthew 2819 says to go into all the world and preach the gospel to all the people on the earth and then disciple all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. You have all three members of the Godhead all in one verse, and it says they’re baptizing them in the name. one God, it doesn’t say names plural, but names singular, and so the Father has the same name. It’s Yahweh, or Jehovah, and Jesus has the same name Yahweh or Jehovah, and the Holy Spirit has the same name Yahweh or Jehovah.

All three are the one and same God, and certainly you see it everywhere. At the baptism of Christ, you have Jesus, the second member of the Godhead. You have the Father speaking out of heaven, saying this is my beloved Son, and whom I am well pleased. And then you also have the Holy Spirit coming down and lighting up the Holy Spirit. upon Christ and empowering him as a man for his earthly service. So it’s everywhere. They just are absolutely in denial.

They reject almost everything. We find in Jose in Tampa, Florida, it calls in and says, what is the difference between a pastor and a preacher? Well, a pastor is a shepherd and all of us should be preachers. Now sometimes when you hear the word preach, that scares you and you think you have to be behind a pulpit. But if you read Mark 1615, the great commission says that every believer is to go into all the world and preach the gospel every creature.

Now the word preach has to do not with style, not the fact that you’re standing in front of a group, but with the message that’s proclaimed, you’ll always find the word preach connected to the gospel. So let’s say that you went and heard a message on Sunday morning in some church and you say boy did he preach a great sermon. Well you can’t really say that technically if he didn’t give the message of the death of the burial and the resurrection sometime during the message because preaching is always associated in the New Testament with a message that is being proclaimed.

If you’ll notice in Mark 1615 even it says, go into all the world and preach what? The Gospel. So you’ll not find that the word preaches connected to anything else. It means to herald, to announce, to proclaim, and in some way communicate. So if you whisper the Gospel, you’re preaching. If you shout the Gospel, you’re preaching. underscored the Gospel on a piece of paper and pass it to someone you are preaching. What has to do with the message and it has to do with your passing along to somebody else.

Now a pastor is a shepherd who is then guiding sheep and hopefully the sheep are saved or they wouldn’t be sheep. But the pastor then guides them into maturity as they grow and learn how they too can be proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ wherever they go. I hope that clears it up. a lot of times people will try to say a preacher somebody who kind of listens his tie, runs back across and forth on the stage, is shouting, waving his arm, and that’s not true at all.

The preacher concept has a come down from what people have said about so-called different evangelists and so on, but the The Greek word simply means to herald and it’s always connected to the gospel. So if you’re talking about anything else in the Scriptures even, you might give a wonderful message from the Bible, but it’s not a gospel message nor is it technically preaching unless you’re announcing the death, the burial, the resurrection of Christ. Get your concordance out and see if I’m not right and you’ll find that I am.

The Gospel is the message that is preached and if you are doing anything else you might be teaching but you are not preaching unless you are proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have sat in many a sermon where the pastor did a good job of teaching the word but it wasn’t a preaching because he never gave the Gospel. That is unfortunate because a lot of churches never give the Gospel no wonder they never get anybody saved. We have Lee in Pinellas Park and Lee says, are there saints in heaven right now?

And of course the answer is yes. Every believer is a saint right now here on this earth. And whenever believers die, then they are simply relocated to heaven. And so yes, all of the believers since Adam are in heaven right now and they are all called saints. That’s exciting, isn’t it? Off-air Anne calls from Pennsylvania and she says, what formula for the Rapture and the Second Coming? Well, she’s looking for a way to set the date. There’s lots of different ways to calculate and nobody knows the exact date of the Lord’s Return, but we’re surely close.

Isaiah chapter 6 said that the Jewish people would be out of favor with God for two days. In the third day, Hosea 6.2, the Jewish nation would be raised up and live in the sight of God himself. That’s the Millennium. That’s when Christ, who is God, will rule from Jerusalem over the whole earth. And all of the people on the earth will come under his authority as he will rule as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. So we know the length of the third day, it is a thousand years.

If that be the case, then the first two days are also a thousand years in length. So what it’s really saying in the Prophet Isaiah chapter 6 verse 2 is that after two thousand years, the Jewish people would be raised up back in their land and Christ would come back and they would live in his sight during that third day or that third thousand years. So that tells us there’s two thousand years between the two comies of Christ and then Christ would return and set up his thousand-year kingdom.

That ought to give you some things to work with there and thank you for calling in Pennsylvania. We’re on in a couple of places in Pennsylvania. I don’t know what city you’re calling in from, but anyway, thanks for calling in and leaving that off-air question. If you want to call us and be up on the air live you can call us at 1-800-576-3771, 1-800-576-3771. And in the land Florida just called in, we have, this is an day, we have two in a row here, and this time not in Pennsylvania, but in the land Florida, calls in and says, why is the Sabbath changed from Saturday to Sunday?

Well guess what Ann? The Sabbath has never been changed. The Sabbath is still The Jewish people count it from sundown to sundown, so Friday night sundown, till Saturday night sundown is the Sabbath. Sunday is still Sunday. Saturday is the Sabbath. It hasn’t changed. But Jesus established the new worship day because he rose from the dead on the first day of the week. Christ came back from the dead on the first day of the week. His next major appearance was on the first day of the week.

And then the day of Pentecost, which began this church age that we’re presently living in, began on a Sunday. As you read through the book of Acts and you read through Corinthians, the early Christians met on the first day of the week. So obviously Jesus changed the worship day from the Sabbath to Sunday. So we’re on a new program now and we celebrate the resurrection of Christ every first day of the week when we come together to worship the Lord.

So we call Sunday the Lord’s Day. Saturday is still the Sabbath. Now the Seventh Adventists have gone kind of nuts on this whole thing and they claim anybody worshiping on Sunday has the mark of the beast. But anybody worshiping on Saturday has the mark of the living God. Of course they’re totally wrong and they’re wrong about a lot of things. So don’t listen to the Seventh Adventists. They will mislead you. They don’t believe in hell. Ellen G. White, their leader, actually states in one of her books that Jesus is Michael the Archangel.

Oh my goodness, what a denigration of the deity of Christ and of the Trinity. The Seventh-day of Venice, don’t seem to get much right. And they are totally wrong there. Well, we have now another Anne. This is Annie. Annie in Tarpon Springs, Florida. And Annie, welcome to Bibleline Your On The Air. Hi, this is Annie from Carp and Springs and I have a question. You talk about how we’re living at the end times and which is very exciting, which is very exciting.

I really can’t wait, but I remember being back in high school and even my history teacher would say everyone has predicted when the end times will be, you know, people would sell their homes and get ready and I know you know, basically we’re you know, to prepare like he’s coming tomorrow but live as if he’s coming I guess in a hundred years. How do I know or how can I reassure my heart that you believe or how you believe that we truly are closer to the end time?

Well the answer is Annie that the big big big big big big thing to look for is is the re-establishment of the Jewish state in the Middle East called Israel. Up until 1948, You really couldn’t say you were in the end times. But Hosea chapter 3 verse 5 says that the latter days are when the Jewish people would return back to their land. So ever since 1948 we have been in the last days and somewhere along here we’re going to see Christ coming and snatching us out.

But along with that we also see the other major players stepping up on the world stage. And it’s all been half happening in this past century. World War I did something remarkable. It took the big grip of the Ottoman Empire, the Turkish Empire, off of the Middle East. All of a sudden, independent countries stepped back up on the stage. There was no such thing as Saudi Arabia. I ran, Iraq, Lebanon, Israel and everything until after World War I. And this is when the nations begin to pop up on the stage.

I have to take a break here and we’ll come back and maybe bring up a little bit of this in the second half hour. But keep your radio dial tuned right where you are and we’ll come right back after this short break and do the second half hour by one. But we’re no doubt living in the last days and things that are happening in the world today were predicted thousands of years ago are just now beginning to gel and we are on the edge of price return.

Stay tuned, we’ll be right back after this short break and we’ll do the second half of Bible One. The Bibleline will be back in a moment. Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Alright, I’m not carrying cleanse from it. It’s always fun to be with you. This has been a great week. We’ve enjoyed being with you all week long Monday through Friday now. And if you live in the Tampa Bay area, you’ll be able to hear us on Saturday and Sunday as well as we play the best of over the weekend.

And we hope that you’ll be tuning that in. Other stations in the other areas also play additional bonus programs. I really don’t know what time they play them, but you might contact your local station and ask them if they play a Bibleline program on the weekend for you to enjoy. But certainly we enjoy being with you during the week and of course if you want to hear more Bibleline over the weekend go to my website BibleLineMinistries.org or .com. And there of course you’ll hear our programs 24-7.

That’s right, 24 hours a day, seven days a week you can go click on the spinning globe and catch our radio programs, you can click on the TV set and get our television programs, you can click on the camera and get our worship services, and I hope you will. Maybe this weekend you can join us for worship. If you’re not attending someplace, you really ought to join with other believers, and you can join us here in Tampa at the Calvary Community Church where I pastor in and here and see the morning message as we deliver it.

If you are attending a good church, that is wonderful. We hope that maybe during the week sometime you might catch our morning worship service. You will find that it is a blessing and you can see 45 Sunday sermons delivered over the past year. Here is shortly where we will have a whole year’s worth of sermons sitting there waiting for you to watch. Don’t forget that we are listeners supported. We need your prayers. We need your gifts. You can help by the line.

We seem to always have a need. And that’s because we pushed ourselves right out there to the limit. The nice thing is that we’re able to accomplish so much with basically so little because we don’t pay any salaries. So we run mean and lean and we’re really in a sense a special strike force for God. And you all are amazingly participants in that, and I believe will share equally with us whatever rewards come about from the Bible and program because you are the ones who share as you give and pray for Bible and call us.

You can give a gift by credit card or the phone, call us, you can ask for an envelope to be sent with our address on it. Well, we got to mail it to you and then you can send a gift by check in the Bible and you can also order. On the online bookstore, you can also, of course, give a gift on our online bookstore. We’re going to rejoin stations that have been on break. We’re going to do the second half hour of Bibleline.

Stay tuned. Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. back from that break and this is Bible and it’s great to be with you and we have any that’s been holding over the break. We were discussing just a minute ago and I don’t want to keep her holding all day but how do we know we’re in the end times and and the thing is that everything has been the begun to explode in this past 50 years and ever since Israel became a nation past 60 years or so and we see the world aligning itself.

We see China, a slumbering giant, waking up and being a real major player in the world. Russia went from being the Soviet Union to Russia, exactly in line with Bible prophecy. We see the individual countries in the Middle East all popping up on the world stage. None of them existed as individual countries for hundreds and hundreds of years prior to World War I. World War II set the stage for Israel’s independence as after World War II was over. The nations were stirred and moved by what they found in the concentration camps and this mass extermination of the Jewish people.

The United Nations voted unanimously in 1947 to allow the establishment of the Jewish state, the country of Israel, 1948 and so prophecy is really being fulfilled. Annie, I hope that helps a little bit and we are definitely in the last days. Annie, are you still in line? I’m still here, Dr. Hill. But I hope that helps a little bit to show you some of the things that are happening now that could not have been the last days until Israel now has become a nation.

You know, you had a caller a couple days ago who had this timeline and he said you believed that he wasn’t that far off in the year 2030, but could it actually have been seven years earlier that you think? Because I think he was thinking about the rapture. Right, the second coming, the rapture would be seven years sooner. And some believe that we’re really headed up real tight here on the year 2011 or 12th as a big year, but also I don’t doubt that it could happen this coming year, you know, or any year right now because we see so many things happening.

Right now we know that Israel just took out a nuclear facility in Syria. This thing about nuclear weapons and weapons of mass destruction really is headed toward a nuclear confrontation. That’s what Armageddon’s all about. And the fact that Iran is a real threat. Apparently, I think the United States, my opinion, will attack I ran before Bush gets out of office. They are a terrible threat to the whole world. And then of course, the terrorists have been hiding out, you know, in Pakistan.

If they ever got control of the nuclear weapons that Pakistan has, and their rockets and other things, we’d really be in deep trouble again. So the world is getting scarier by the day and we have many people that will kill us. For example the radical Islam consists of about 10 or 15% of all of Islam but that means there’s about 350 million radical people that want to kill us here in the West. That’s a lot of people that really hate us.

So of the 1.2 billion Muslims, 350 million of them want to kill us. and are willing to die to do that. I really think that Abinajab wanted to come and lay a wreath at 9-11, ground zero, so he could go back home and say he laid a wreath in memory of the 19 that were killed as they crashed their planes into the World Trade Centers and not to commemorate our dead. So obviously, I think they’re out to kill us and want to celebrate it.

I think that would be a terrible shame if he got to do that because I think that’s exactly what he wanted to do and I think we’re not going to allow him to do that. I’m surprised we’ve had him on our soil because he avows to kill us and kill Israel and blow Israel off the map. So we’re seeing things happen right now where Israel is hated in the land and that is exactly what the Bible said would happen just before Jesus would return and Zachariah tells us that all nations would come against Jerusalem and the battle and then the Lord will come back and fight against those nations and on the side of Israel it will establish His Kingdom here on the earth.

The message is to Christians is do not fear that we are always protected and we will be protected by Jesus. That’s right. He watches over each and every one of us. Thank you, Dr. Hank. You’re the best. Well, thank you, Hanyan. I’m glad that we could talk a little bit further about it. Thank you for calling in. This is by the line. If you want to call in, you may. The phone number is 1-800-576-3771. 1-800-576-3771. And again, thank you for tuning in.

This is Friday. If you don’t have a church to attend and you’re in driving distance, come see us on Sunday morning. 9.15, I have an adult class. At 10.30, we have the worship service. You’re welcome to come and join us. If you live anywhere across America that you’re too far to drive over. Join us on the Internet. You can join us between 11 and 12 on the Internet by clicking on the camera on the home page. And we have many people not only in America but in Europe and other places that are watching our Sunday morning worship service and we’re excited about that.

And of course, if you’re attending a good church, we encourage you to do that. But then you can go during the week and catch the worship service and listen to the message on God’s word that we deliver here from the pulpit. We have anonymous now from Texas and anonymous welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Yes, I have a question. I mean, can you explain the training? Well the Bible, you know, a lot of people think that we’re talking about three gods.

I know that Christians are accused of that, but we’re not talking about addition here. talking about mathematically multiplication. 1 plus 1 plus 1 is 3, but 1 times 1 times 1 times 1 is equal to 1. And this is what we have here in the Godhead. There is one God but he eternally exists as three separate persons, God the eternal Father, God the eternal Son and God the eternal Spirit. And those terms are used in Hebrews. It talks about the Holy spirit being the eternal spirit of God.

And so definitely the Holy Spirit is eternal. Christ says in the New Testament that He existed prior to the creation of the earth. And He did because He is the second member of the Godhead. If you read John 1-1 it says, In the beginning was the word. That is a name for Jesus. And it says, In the beginning was He already existed before the earth was created. And it says he was with God. And then it says he was God.

He is and was and is God. And Jesus Christ is the Word made flesh, John 1, 14, who dwelt among us and we were able actually see Christ in a human body here on the earth 2,000 years ago. God loved the world and came and the second person of the Godhead took on human flesh and went to the cross and died to pay for our sins. And so I don’t know that we’ll ever fully understand it, but there are many trinities in nature.

And one of the most interesting is H2O. H2O, if heated above 212 degrees, becomes a gas. Yet it’s still H2O, two parts hydrogen, one part oxygen. If you have it between 2, 12 and 32 degrees Fahrenheit, it’s a liquid. And yet it’s still H2O. If you take it to a temperature below 32 degrees, it becomes a solid. If you’ve ever fallen on ice, I have been skiing and fell on some solid ice. I felt like I hit the driveway and my concrete driveway.

It’s obviously pretty hard when it’s in the solid form. Yet it’s still H2O. Nothing has changed. but it can appear or manifest itself as a solid, as a gas, and as a liquid. And I don’t know how to totally explain it. Well, maybe never fully understand that, but the Bible certainly teaches it. There’s no way of getting around it. Okay. I do have another question. How do I explain to someone that Jesus? Because he was a man as well as being God, and as a man, he was an example to us of how we ought to have the same type of relationship with God as our Father.

So as He prayed, it was dependent upon the Father, so should we pray and be dependent upon the Father. And so when Jesus taught us how to pray, he said our Father, which are in heaven, and he included himself in that prayer. So as a man, he was exactly that, a man dependent upon God, but And he was at the same time the God-man, fully God and fully human at the same time. And obviously God chose to do that so we could actually…

He would relate to him and understand God as he manifested himself in a form that wouldn’t frighten us off in a form that we could understand, as Jesus became a man, but yet he was totally without sin. Right. And also, how do I explain what James said? Because I can’t turn your ear and then lift up the hood cover on your head and lick it on your brain and see faith flashing on your brainclaws. In other words, faith can too humans only be demonstrated by our actions.

But God knows whether you have faith. The Bible says in 2 Samuel 16 verse 7 that the man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart. God knows if you are a believer, and the moment you believe you become saved with God. But men don’t know that you believe until you announce it or until you show your works. I became a believer when I was 18, but I was a secret believer for one year. Nobody, I’m telling you, nobody knew.

Nobody on this planet knew I was a believer until I finally decided to open my mouth. But God knew, I knew, I knew I was saved from the night I trusted Christ. I knew that God could not lie. And if I trusted Christ, according to the Bible, I would go to heaven and I received eternal life. It wasn’t until a year later that I did, as James said, I displayed to other people that I had faith by telling them about it and living the life that backed it up.

All you have to do is reject Christ. You see, you can’t fall from salvation, but you can’t fall from grace. Grace is the means by which salvation is brought to you. Let me give you a great verse. Titus 2, 11 says, the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men. So the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to everybody, but not everybody saved because you have to receive that grace. It’s kind of like this.

The water pipe brings the water into your home, but the water pipe is not the water. So if you get thirsty, you don’t bite down on the water pipe. You turn the spigot and allow the water pipe to carry the water into your glass and then you shut the spigot off and you drink the water. Well, when you turn the spicot in a sense by faith, by trusting Christ, grace flows to you and you become saved. But if you keep the spicot closed by not trusting Christ by rejecting Him, then you have fallen or rejected grace, and therefore you will not be saved.

So only a lost person can fall from grace by being cast into hell, having rejected the grace, the mercy of God through faith in Christ as Savior. But when you turn the spigot through faith, allow God’s grace to come to you, you are saved by grace, and then you can never be lost. You can’t fall from salvation. Okay, great. All right. Well, thank you for calling in from the great state of Texas. We now have an anonymous call from Texas.

This is Texas Day, it looks like, and welcome to Bible Iron from the great state of Texas. Yes, thank you for taking my call. There’s these things that’s caught regarding the legitimacy of God, and I was wondering if you could explain that. I’m not sure if you’re wondering that. I’m simply that it’s Christmas only what we don’t accomplish for the Kingdom after we’ve been saved will be judged. And others say even after we’re saved our sins will be judged when we become safe to save the gods.

So can you explain which one is correct? Well, I think they’re both correct, but I think the issue is not salvation. The issue is rewards. 2 Corinthians 5, 10 says, for we Christians must all appear. We’ve been subpoenaed already. you’re going to be there if you’re a believer and so will I. And we must all appear before the judgment state of Christ that everyone may receive the things done in his body. So while we’re here in this body, on this earth, in this lifetime, we’re going to be judged according to everything we’ve done, whether it says, it says whether it be good or whether it be bad.

And so we have to face up to the fact that whatever we do from the time we get saved is going to be on the menu there at the Joseph’s of Christ and we’re going to be held accountable. It ought to be something that would cause us to live a pure life, a dedicated life, a life focused on pleasing God so that we might find ourselves approved when we get in his sight. Second Timothy 2.15 says, Study to show thyself approved.

That approval is not for salvation. We are already saved when we trust Christ. But the approval is when we stand before the Lord and He says, You did a good job. Well done, thou good and faithful servant. But to others, He is going to say, You’ve been lazy. You have done nothing. And I’m ashamed of you. And so the Bible says in that very same verse, study to show yourself approved under God as a workman that need not to be ashamed.

So there are believers who will be ashamed when they stand before the Lord at the Judge of the City of Christ. And they will suffer the loss of reward. And they will be embarrassed at things that they have said, things that they have done. the Lord is going to judge everything that we do from the time we get saved onward. I know that some people don’t like to deal with that. They just want everything to be peachy creamy, but there is a day coming when we’re held accountable before the Lord and everything that we have done since we have been saved will be brought up at that time and we will be held accountable for it.

Let me just read to you Luke chapter 1 where here it says in verse 2 in Luke chapter 12, there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed. There may be things hidden in your life that nobody else knows anything about, but guess what? They won’t be covered with the judgments that are Christ. Neither hid that shall not be known. Therefore whatever you have spoken in darkness, Luke 12, 3 shall be heard in the light and But I would just focus in the ear.

He secretly told somebody in a closet, it says he’s going to be proclaimed upon the housetops. So he says, I’m warning you to be ready that you’re going to have to give an account one day for what you’ve done. And of course you’re still saved and that’s the wonderful part. But you don’t want to be embarrassed and you don’t want to have the Lord say you didn’t do a good job. that you want to have the Lord say well done and patch on the back and say great job, you are faithful and I’m going to reward you greatly for your faithfulness.

So I believe that’s the answer and it’s not a matter of salvation. You’re saved once and for all and that will never ever come up again. But I do believe that it’s a scary moment when you stand before the Lord and you have to say everything I’ve done now is going to be unfolded for everybody to see. Because so many Christians tend to use that. Always say, you know, your sins are forgiven. They’ve committed yesterday, today, in the future.

And use that almost as a day. It is true about getting out of jail. You don’t go to hell if you’ve trusted Christ. And there’s nothing that will ever cause you to be lost once you become saved. But that doesn’t mean that we’re not going to give an account for what we’ve done in our bodies here on this earth from the time we get saved until we stand before him at that judgment. So he will hold his accountable and the result will be rewards or loss of reward, embarrassment or rejoicing that we’ve been faithful, but salvation is not a view.

Right, but what I understand that you’re saying is it’s not only what we have not accomplished for his kingdom after we can say that we’ll be judged but also any sense that we committed after salvation that will be judged as far as what rewards they received once we get heaven. Well, I think absolutely. Let’s say that you’ve been a wonderful witnessing Christian and then you go out and commit some heinous crime unless you kill a whole bunch of people.

Well, I think the damage done by what you accomplished by doing that, you’d still be saved but I think that it would have a negative effect that would just ripple back and kind of undo all that you had done in your witness prior to that time and I think you would really suffer a great deal of loss because I think you would have harmed so many people by what you did that what you did accomplish would probably take it away.

It would just have been nullified and people would not want to reference you at all and whatever influence you had, they probably may be even rebel against it because of the crimes that you maybe you would have committed. I think in other words, we can do things in our Christian life that will have great negative consequences for the rest of our stay here on this earth that will just be constantly eroding away and taking away whatever good we did.

So we need to be very careful our sins can really cause us a great deal of problem. But it has to do with rewards. It has to do with rewards. Right. How does him can Christ dream judge us when we get to face the face with him as Christians? When in the Bible it says the King doesn’t remember us. Because he’s talking about salvation. In other words, if you were to maybe let’s say that a person was tried and convicted for murder.

They go to court and they are given a sentence and let’s say they served their sentence and then they come back out on the line. they come back out on the street. There’s nothing you can do about it. You can’t send them back to jail. They cannot be tried again for the same crime. They’ve already been sentenced and paid their dues. And so it’s over. But the effects of it still will be upon that person’s life. They may not get hired.

They may not have anybody feel comfortable around them because they know, wow, that guy committed murder. I don’t think I want to hang out with him and so on. So it’s going to affect your whole life here and it will affect obviously I think what you’re able to accomplish for God and the rewards will have in heaven. So it’s not a fact that you’re going to be condemned to go back to jail or pay another jail sentence. You’re simply going to suffer loss because of the consequences and actual consequences of your actions.

So it’s going to just continue on. Okay, great. Well, thank you so much. All right. I hope it helps, but it’s not a sin issue as far as salvation is concerned. It’s sin does affect also affect your rewards. No doubt about it. All right. We have now Richard in Tampa, Florida and Richard. Welcome to Bibleline your online. Pardon me. Hi. You’re on the air. You have a question? Good morning. Good morning. Pastor Lynch, from first I’d like to say thank you.

And I had a, I wondered, I saw a copy of a book called The New Bible Teacher by Margaret Wynne and G.E.R. It was a 1912 edition and I was wondering if you had it in your collection or you were familiar with it. I’m not familiar with that at all. I’d have to do some homework to see what it’s all about. Okay. My other question is I’ve been looking for the passage regarding the sins of the Father being carried by the children.

Could you direct me to that? Yeah, it’s back in Deuteronomy and it’s in the Ten Commandments, chapter 20 of Exodus and also in Deuteronomy when the law is repeated. And basically the chain can be broken. For example, my family was unsaved and obviously my grandparents were unsaved and so on. And all of a sudden the The Gospel intercepted my family through my sister. My sister cared about me and I got saved. Then the two of us ganged up and we broke the chain of unbelief in our family.

By all of a sudden now one of us getting saved and carrying that to the rest of us. So I think that a person has been raised in a family of witchcraft usually goes back for generations. And the chain can be broken. somebody who’s raised in a home with witchcraft probably are plagued with demonic things in their life and many people have interviewed down through time who’ve had a satanic cloud over their life I usually ask them were your parents into the occult yes they were they’ll say my mother was a witch or my father was a wizard and so on and they’ll tell me those experiences I say that’s That’s why you get your problems.

It’s all carried down to you. But you can break the chain. You can come free. You can trust Christ and break that chain of evil that’s upon your life. And so yes indeed it’s true. But at any point when you come to know Christ and choose to deliver Him, you can break that evil chain. Thank you. All right. Well, thank you for calling in. We appreciate that.
