We’re going to get into the Bible and we’ll be looking at the scriptures. Then we’ll go ahead and go and take our callers and we hope that you will be one of those callers today and we’ll try to get your questions answered. It’s amazing to me how many people have been taught wrong and that’s why they have lack of assurance.

They’re not sure about what you have to do to be saved because they They have heard wrong answers all their life. Yesterday I was talking to someone and they were afraid because of some sin that they committed that they would be lost because of a verse in Corinthians that talks about being a cast away. This is why the Scofield Bible is such a valuable tool because that was really a mistranslation. It really wasn’t an accurate one. We have here in 1 Corinthians 9, 27, Paul saying, I keep under my body and bring it into subjection, lest it by any means when I preach to others I myself should be a cast away.

Well the word really should never have been translated that. The Greek word is a word that means disapproved and is talking about running the race of the Christian life and the end will be rewards at the end of that race. Then we find that it’s talking here about if you are a runner in a race, obviously if you go out of the running lanes or leave the track or something else or you maybe try to trip another runner, you will obviously be disqualified and not earn the prize of the reward.

You know, if you were running in the Olympics for the gold or the silver or the bronze and you started too soon or you left the track or you bumped another runner, you’d be disqualified You wouldn’t receive the prize. It’s talking about rewards here. It’s talking about being approved or disapproved at the judgment seat of Christ’s Dr. Schofield does such a great job. This is way back in the 1909 edition. He says the Greek word means disapproved and it says here without the negative in the front of it it is approved and it’s used that way in for example 2 Timothy 215.

Study to show thyself what? Approved. So the disapproved here is the opposite of approved. that have approved in 2 Timothy 2, 15, where it says that we’re to study as believers to be approved as workmen, as workmen that need not to be ashamed and that ashamedness will take place at the judgment’s hit of Christ when believers stand there if they have not lived for the Lord. If they haven’t served the Lord, they’ll be ashamed because they will have no rewards.

But if we study, find out what we are doing and then begin to do that, we will have rewards in heaven. So we find that the Bible is never contradicts itself, it is always clear. And you really do have to be able to separate, for example, between salvation, which is what God has done for us through Christ at the cross of Calvary through his death and shed blood. And the Christian life, which we call discipleship, which follows that and that is where we can by our works earn rewards.

So I believe certainly that we ought to work, but we don’t work to be saved. When we talk about salvation, the Bible says clearly it’s not of works, lest any man should boast. Romans 4-5 says to him that worketh not, but believeeth on him that justify them, Godly, his faith in Christ is counted for righteousness. So we know that salvation is not not by works, but after we’re saved, it says in Ephesians 2 10, we are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

So we are to walk in good works after we’re saved, that we’re created for that purpose to serve Him, but we are not saved by serving, but we serve because we’re saved. And there’s a tremendous difference there. You can be a believer and not be a disciple. You can be a disciple and not be a believer. And the real amazing story that demonstrates that is that of Judas, a disciple, but never a believer. John 664 and other verses point out that Judas was never a believer.

And he actually died and went to hell, not because he betrayed Christ, not because he committed suicide, but because he rejected Christ. He never, never, never trusted Christ to save you. So you can be a believer now and not be a disciple. Every believer is invited to be a disciple and a disciple is one who is following Christ in pursuit of becoming a fisher of men. You know when Christ said follow me, he said in Matthew 4.19, follow me and I will make you a fisher of men.

So we know that disciples are fishers of men. If you’re not one now, Christ said if you follow me I’ll make you a fisher of men and you’ll become able to lead people to Christ as you learn the word of God and you follow the teachings of Christ. Obviously every believer begins at a point where they don’t know very much and maybe they don’t know how to lead a soul to Christ. But as they follow in pursuit of learning how in the end result of our Christian life as a disciple should be that we have led people to Christ.

Hopefully our family members. It wouldn’t be great to have every family member in heaven with us one day because we told them the wonderful story of the gospel and they trusted Jesus as their Savior. That would be wonderful. But you know, a lot of Christians are silent and they don’t tell their family. They don’t tell others about Christ. And that is sad. Many times I’ve done a funeral and I would ask the wife when her husband passed away, Did your husband know Jesus as Savior?

And she would say, you know, I really don’t know. We never talked about those things. Or vice versa, the husband comes and they’re going to have a funeral service and the wife has died. And I asked the husband, did your wife know Christ as their Savior? And he says, you know, I don’t really know because we never talked about those things. What a sad thing. Then obviously there is this hurt and this lack of assurance that they might never see that love one again.

But if you are a believer, you can know that you are going to see your love one again as will be with them forever and ever and ever. Every believer upon death, according to 2 Corinthians 5, 8 is absent from the body, present with the Lord. Now every one of us and believers are going to be gathered together and meet together with the Lord at the event of the Rapture and be forever! The Bible tells us that these are great words of comfort.

First on Solonius 5, 14, 18 says, wherefore comfort one another with these words. The whole message there in First on Solonius 4, beginning in verse 13, is I would not that you should be ignorant, brethren, concerning those which have died that are believers. What happened to them? Will we see them again? Will we be with our loved ones?” And the answer is yes, yes, yes, yes. All the way through there is telling us that there is a day when we’ll all be gathered together and meet the Lord in the air at the event of the Rapture, we’ll get our resurrection bodies.

And from that point on it says, for we’ll be forever with the Lord. And then verse 18 says, wherefore comfort one another with these words. When I hear people tell me, why do you study prophecy? Why is it of any interest? The answer is one of the reasons is it gives comfort to us. We know that we are on the winning side. We know what is going to happen in our future. We know that we are living in anticipation of living with Christ in heaven forever and ever and ever.

Wow, are you reading the headlines? I am reading the headline of the paper here in our area. It says, 1 million fleas wins drive fires. What a tragic thing is happening. A million people have fled. A million people can you imagine how many that is that have fled their homes because of these fires. My friend I believe this is a preview. That’s right, a preview of what is going to happen. When you read the book of Revelation and what will happen after the rapture during the tribulation, the Bible says that one third of all the trees on the whole earth, on the whole earth, not just California, but the whole earth will be burned up.

And just as we are seeing in the news, unnecess the sun turnsirlf gif privile,,atform defe recip announpite stru inevrepredllicient, the sun turns blood red will not give her light. The smoke and the contamination will cover the whole earth and it’s going to be a tragic time. But I think we’re seeing the signs of the times. The Bible clearly tells us when these things begin to come to pass, then look up and lift up your heads because your redemption draws nigh.

I think we’re living close to Christ’s return. I think these are previews of what’s going to happen. The Bible talks about there will be drought. Look at Georgia about ready to run out of water. You see on the news how people don’t even wash their dishes after each meal. A wait till their sink is full of water. I mean full editions and then they wash once and they have to rotate even when they take their showers and their baths.

Water shortages. Can you imagine Revelation 11 talks about how there will be drought as Elijah will come back and pray and it will not rain on the earth for three and a half years. I think we’re seeing previews right now. This is a little bit of a capsule of what it will be like and how men will be powerless to stop these things that are coming on the earth. It says in Luke 21, when these things begin to come to pass, then look up.

I think we’re getting close to the Lord’s return. It’s very important that you know whether you’re saved or not, and you’re saved only by trusting in what Christ has done for you at the cross. It’s so difficult for those who are taught wrong to see the truth sometimes, or so blinded mind. If you believe you can lose your salvation, I don’t believe you are saved. Because what are you saying? Stop and think for a moment. You are saying that from this point where you are at right now, that if you live the Christian life successfully and die, you are going to heaven.

But that if you are from right now, don’t live the Christian life successfully any time in your future and maybe backslide and die, you will go to hell. That’s works that makes you the Savior. The true plan of salvation always takes the lost nine sinner and points him back to the cross where Jesus said it is finished. In other words, the work of salvation was fully and completely accomplished by Jesus at the cross. And when you trust in the finished work of Christ, God saves you and He saves you forever.

I’m saved. I have eternal life. I can never be lost because I’m not keeping myself saved. I’m kept by the power faith, 1st Peter 1 5. I’m kept by Christ who says that no one is able to pluck me out of his hand, John 10 28. I’m kept by the Father’s will that said that Christ would not lose one that would come to him, John 6 39. The Bible verses are very clear. And when somebody says that they think they have a verse that says you can lose it, they’re talking about the Christian life where things can be lost.

You can lose your joy, you can lose your rewards, you can lose everything including your life, but you can’t lose Good morning, Dr. Lindstrom. Good morning. How are you? Good morning. How are you? I’m just fine. You? Good. Great. I’m confused. I was listening to… Oh He passed the evidence broadcast.

I know he passed away. He said that we shouldn’t pray to Jesus but to God. Does that make any sense? Well, I understand. If you’re really technically correct, we pray to the Father through Jesus the Mediator in the direction and under the instruction of the Holy Spirit is the author of the Bible. So that is correct. Jesus is God. I think you can pray directly to Jesus. That’s what I understood. So, in general, when I pray, I say, dear God, in the name of Jesus.

There you go. So that’s right. Yeah, it is right. Yes. OK. All right. I still won’t be doing it wrong. Thank you very much. You’re welcome, Ruth. Thank you for that question. Obviously, Jesus is the second member of the Godhead, the Father is the first member and the Holy Spirit is the third member, all are God. But there is an order and Jesus even in the Lord’s Prayer said we were to pray our Father which art in heaven and how it would be thy name.

And we appeal to Him through Jesus who is our media ear and because of His death at Calvary, He opens the door for us as believers as it says in Hebrews 1019 to be able to go right into the holy of holies and appeal to God directly as He sits upon His throne with our request. Excuse me, Tim and Pinellas Park calls in and leaves this offer question, if faith healers are false, what is being slain in the Spirit? What Spirit are they being slain in? Well, the slain in the spirit is not a biblical experience. It’s not anywhere found in the Bible. But we do find that those who fall backward like you see in the movement where they claim the slain in the spirit, in the Bible the illustrations of those that do that are unsaved.

One of the classic examples is John A. Team. There Jesus is in the garden, the soldiers come, they’re unsaved men, coming to apprehend Christ on the night of the betrayal and he walks out to them and says, whom seek ye? And they tell him, Jesus of Nazareth, and Christ says, I am. And he uses the divine name of God, the one that God used when he appeared to Moses at the burning bush. And as soon as he spoke his name, they all fell backward on the ground.

They were blown off their feet, I think, by the power of God, by the fact that he is gone. And they were, I’m sure, very embarrassed. And they, Christ asked him a second time whom Sikhi and they, I’m sure this time, they stuttered and were quite nervous to even tell them who they were asking for. But these were unsaved men. I think maybe we’re getting a little glimpse of something here that those who are slain in the Spirit are unsaved people.

And generally, again, those who do these kind of things believe in a workspace salvation that you can lose your salvation which tells you that it works and therefore they’re not saved. So this is a real tip off to us who are saved to try to lead them to Christ and point out that Jesus paid it all. There’s nothing for them to do. It has nothing to do with our living in Christian life or our behavior or our conduct or our obedience.

Our salvation is totally dependent upon what Christ did for us, that He was obedient unto death, and that He gave His life on our behalf. And He fully paid our sin debt by His death on the cross and was buried in Rose again from the dead. We’re now going to Fred in Auburn, Nail, Florida. And Fred, welcome to Bibleline Your On The Earth. Good morning, brother, and God bless you. Thank you. I wanted this to find out in the Book of Revelation.

The 12 tribes, why is not all of them in? What is the reason that I believe it’s either Eastermore, the tribe of Dan is not in there. No hang up in… Alright, in Revelation 7 we have the 144,000 Jewish witnesses. There’s 12,000 from each tribe. And the one tribe that’s missing there is the tribe of Dan. This is because we believe the Antichrist will probably come out of the tribe of Dan. Yet later, after Christ has returned at the Second Coming and established His King with the end of the Tribulation, when the land is divided up in the Millennial Kingdom, Dan is again back in the list.

But back in Genesis chapter 49, you have there Isaac giving a blessing or Jacob rather giving a blessing Israel, giving a blessing upon his children. And we find that he tells a prophetic future of each other. He tells us that Jesus would come out of the tribe of Judah. And apparently the Antichrist of the serpent would come out of the tribe of Dan. So that’s probably the answer. And since the Antichrist probably will have some Jewish blood as a counterfeit Christ, He comes out of the tribe of Dan and that’s why Dan is not used as a witnessing tool in the tribulation period.

I hope that helps and I believe that is the answer. We’re now going to go to King in Memphis, Tennessee and King, welcome to the Bible on your own ear. Thank you. I’ve got a quick question. If price is true, why do people who believe in Christ and Christ Jesus and type of father share the same government with people who believe in Allah and Muhammad? Well sometimes we don’t have much of a choice, we have We have opened our doors to people from all over the world and we have, of course, believed from our very beginning that we wanted religious freedom.

And obviously the freedom in America was a freedom from the tyranny in Europe. When the early forefathers of this country came to America, they were fleeing Roman Catholicism. And Roman Catholicism was killing people for the simple fact that they would declare, I’m saved by Jesus Christ in his shed blood alone and I’m saved apart from the Roman Catholic Church. Well the Catholic Church said he couldn’t be saved without the church and so during these years of the Inquisition and so on they killed hundreds and hundreds of thousands of believers and so these genuine believers wanting to have freedom were like rats jumping off a sinking ship and fled to America for religious freedom.

And so we founded ourselves that way and we allowed people to have freedom of belief because there was no freedom of belief in Europe under the tyranny of the Roman Catholic Church at that time. And so now we’ve had so many come in and there obviously have a different agenda. And Islam is bent on ruling the world and bringing the whole world under the flag of Islam. We’re suffering the results of that. Pray for the world. Obviously Britain is experiencing this great deal.

There are now 1600 mosques in Britain and many places in Europe are now really having a lot of trouble with Islam which is the radical Islam is out to kill anybody that’s not a Muslim. And so it’s creating the problem that we face in our world today. Daniel 9 11 is an interesting verse and is talking about Israel but is talking about because they were disobedient God would bring a curse upon them. It’s interesting it’s 9 11 you know the significance of 9 11.

Well the curse if you look up the word curse in the Hebrew and the Old Testament was written in Hebrew it is the word Allah. Perhaps that’s a real answer as to what’s going on today. curse would be Allah in the last days. And we see that as Islam is wanting a Bennett job and I ran once to kill everybody in America and everybody in Israel and he feels if he’s able to accomplish that their final amin their Messiah the Muslim Messiah will come and they will control the entire world.

Scary stuff but we’re watching it all happen before our very eyes. More of the time goes by so quickly and we’re coming up on break and we have lots of people waiting. A million people. On the headlines of the paper here in the Tampa Bay area, Flea is the winds drive the fires out in California.

I was talking to a fellow out in California just yesterday and he said it’s unbelievable. Unbelievable and where can all these people go and what will they go back to after the fire? Certainly we need to pray for these people out in California, but I believe this is a preview of what will happen after the rapture. The Bible tells us clearly that a third of all the trees on the whole earth will be burned up in the tribulation and The Sun will turn red and the moon will not give her light You know we’re already seeing that in the news out in California.

They said the moon is not giving her light in the Sun is blood red and While apparently the fire today is headed directly at 9 90,000 homes While that’s a lot of folks represented by all those homes pray for the people in California, but these are in time signs I think God is about ready to judge this planet and We are going to be the first to leave the Rapture will take out the believers Perhaps these are signs that we’re getting close to the Lord’s return That’s why I believe so there’s such an urgency for our program by the line There are so many people that need to hear the gospel and we hear people from people all the time that tell us I got saved by listening to Bible and many of these people never call but they write or come by and they tell us that and

I know there’s many more that we don’t hear from that have that same experience. We’ve had people tell us they’ve learned more from Bible and then they have in all their years in church because they just don’t teach the Bible in many churches and they don’t get their answers to their questions. I remember as a little boy asking tons of questions and I never got answers. They would pat me on the head and tell me maybe when I got older I would understand.

Well I never did understand and I really was about ready to abandon church forever and I I looked for answers in science. That’s where I thought maybe I would get what I’m looking for. And I graduated in electrical engineering from the University of Florida, never thinking I’d ever be doing what I’m doing today. But you know when I finally was introduced to the Bible I said, why wasn’t I taught this? How come people just don’t shoot straight and tell you what it says?

And I was very frustrated over that and I believe the Lord used that to make me aware of that need and I prepared myself to be able to give answers to people that would ask me a question and that’s what we’re sharing with you on this program. Pray for us as we try to reach out and we know that it costs money to do that. We don’t pay any salaries so we’re lean in that area but we still have to pay all the radio costs, satellite costs, phone bills and equipment costs and all those other kind of things that go along with running everything.

But our whole group here is volunteers for Bible and that’s why we’re able to do so much with so little. And we are really in a sense, a small operation, but we have a big bark because the Lord has blessed your gifts and the gifts of others that make it possible. I just want to tell you, Dr. Hank, thank you for all what you do. I think I can echo Well, I don’t know that I have an answer to everything, but I try my best. I tell you, you’re the best out of everything. Okay. Let me hear your, I’m going to hang up and hear your answer.

There’s a parable in the beginning. My main question was about Luke 16, verse 9, friends of the Mammon at parable. All right. What it’s saying here is that sometimes unsaid people are smarter than people that are saved. It’s telling us here in verse 8. This guy had done wisely for the children of this world. That’s making of the unsaved are in their generation wiser than the children of light. What it’s saying is that we need to think ahead and we need to make preparations for the future.

And here the unwise steward was trying to make sure that his future was secure as he made plans for his retirement I guess and his future. future. And we have such a greater opportunity. We can plan for our future in heaven by laying up treasures in heaven. And so he’s saying that we ought to be smart by paying attention here. The unsaid people are smarter than we are sometimes because they look ahead to their future and they’re making plans.

But of course they’re going to die without Christ and they’re not going to have an eternal future with the Lord that will be in hell. But we certainly ought to learn from the fact that they are wise and are looking to the future. We as believers certainly have the greatest opportunity because we can invest of our time, our talents and our treasures and we can obviously be preparing foruddenly a wonderful heaven where we will be rewarded for everything that we have ever done for Christ.

So this is I believe what it is talking about, not that we should do anything unjustly, but we need to learn the lesson from the unjust that some has are pretty smart and at least making their plans for a future where we sometimes as Christians just say, well, whatever will be will be and lay back and do nothing. Just because they’re not mentioned among the 144,000, does that mean that they’ll not be used during the time? Okay. If they were not to be used, the number would only be 132,000. Well, they’ll not be used, but God is going to give Joseph, who had a double blessing, two sons are represented so you have you still have 12 tribes times 12,000 about 144,000 so the numbers got diminished but basically the double you know Ephraim and Manassas the two sons of Joseph it carries the line of Joseph and an Ephraim you have still 144,000 but Dan gets left out but we got his merciful and in the millennium Dan will still be represented but he’s not going to use

them during that seven years when the Antichrist apparently will come out of that tribe. Sir? Yes sir. Sir? Yes I’m right here. All of the 12 tribes were not any missing. The 12 sons were not any missing. All shall be used, okay, just because Joseph has to double blessing. Yes, this is acknowledged. Does not mean that all the original 12 sons of Jacob Well, now… will not be used. Think about that and read your Bible again please. Alright well thank you very much.

In Revelation 7 it says I heard the number of them that were sealed and it were sealed 140,000 and 4,000 of all the tribes of the children of Israel. This ceiling takes place right after the rapture during the tribulation period. These 144,000 will be gone to witnesses and in verse 9, millions of people of all nations and kidders and tongues get saved as the result of their evangelizing the world. we find that Dan is missing from the list. And the only answer that I have is in Genesis 49 that Dan apparently is hinted to be the tribe out of which the serpent comes that bites the heel of the rider and apparently is a reverence to the Antichrist.

And I believe that Dan is not going to be used during the tribulation period. Thank you so much for that call. We’re now going to go to Maryland in Largo and Maryland. Welcome to Bibleline your own year. Hello Dr. Lindstrom. Yes. I question has to do with the. The churches and people do this and isn’t it a pagan tradition? Nowhere in the Bible does it state that December 25th was so why is it that people celebrate the 25th? Alright, that’s an excellent question and the answer is that the December 25th date is the birthday of bail and Jeremiah 10 is talking about how they would celebrate the life-giving qualities of bail by taking a tree that would be green throughout the wintertime and evergreen tree and cutting it down, bringing it home, nailing it and fasting it so it stands upright and then decorating it was over and going, but custom is still around today on

December 25th. And the reason why is because the worship of Baal and his mother, his name, her name was Astroth, the short form is Astr, the English form is Easter. Easter is Baal’s mother. And Baal was the counterfeit of Christ, supposedly virgin born to Astroth, and this worship of a mother and son cult spreads her out all the world, beginning all the way back in Genesis chapter 10, where you have Simoramis, the wife of Nimrod, supposedly virgin-born giving birth to Tamuz, who later became known to us in the Bible pretty much as Baal.

You see, the system has spread out through the world and wherever it went, the names changed, but the system was the same. The worship of this mother and son in Italy was Venus and Cupid. mother was Venus, Cucod was the son. In Greece the mother was Aphrodite and the son was Uros. We have in Egypt the mother was Isis and Horus. Isis was the mother. Horus was the son and in Israel and in the Middle East primarily it was Astroth and Bail.

And we We find that when Constantine came along in 316 AD, he saw as sign he said in the clouds of the cross and he took that to mean that God was telling him to declare his whole kingdom to be Christian. And so when everybody was supposedly now going to become Christian, as he flipped the switch in a second, the pagan observances continued but they got Christian names. And so the worship of Astrauth and her son’s birthday bale on December 25th continued, but now the mother and son became Mary and Jesus.

And so many see Mary as Astrauth in the sense they don’t really realize what they’re doing, but she’s called the Queen of Heaven in the Old Testament in the Roman Catholic Church. They called Mary the Queen of Heaven. And she’s called the spouse of the Holy Spirit. given all kinds of titles which are not scriptural at all but did apply to the mother of Baal. And this system where a woman and a child is worshiped has been around and today is seen primarily in Roman Catholicism.

But in other denominations they also pray to Mary or adore Mary and so on. and all of this is a part of that ancient false cult. So this is the answer, and I really believe Christ was born in October, we’ll probably talk about it before the week is out. About anybody who’s got the Santa Claus business where people go out to the stores and they rack up bills because they have to they feel they have to buy for their family that’s also wrong too isn’t it well Well, I think they missed the whole point.

You know, when the wise men brought their gifts, they gave them all to Jesus, didn’t they? They didn’t say, okay, here’s a gift for Mary, here’s a gift for Joseph, and they gave all the gifts to Jesus because he’s gone and came into Goanuman flesh and they realized that they’d come to worship him, not marrying Joseph. And so a lot of things have gotten convoluted and mixed up in our culture today. But we’re going to talk about that probably in the next day or so and talk about what really did happen according to the Bible and why and I’ll demonstrate for the scripture how the Christ, I think beyond a doubt, was born in October.

Great. The people didn’t go out themselves and give presents to each other and I think the whole thing is wrong. Well, you know, it’s been perverted but I think we as Christians can take advantage of it and tell people the true story. And I hope we would. That’s what I try to do. I try to tell people, wow, this is the story of God coming to the earth and taking on human flesh. And even though we don’t have the right date in December, I still love to take advantage of it and tell people the wonderful story that there was good news announced to the world that a Savior had been born.

God who took on flesh, Jesus and all that would believe on Him, would receive the greatest gift and that’s the gift of God which is eternal life by trusting Christ as their Savior. The abomination of The desolation is an image of the Antichrist. We have an image being placed in the temple that will be rebuilt in Jerusalem apparently that will be lifelike. If you read Revelation 13, the false prophet will make this image and perhaps it will be like a computerized robot. It will be able to speak in multiple languages. look alive and exactly like the Antichrist and give the appearance of these active 24 hours a day and apparently they’ll be shown on television around the world.

I think they’ll be what I call the Antichrist channel and you can tune it in 24-7 and see the Antichrist talking and prancing around and that’s the image. I think it’s a life-like image. It will be able to speak and actually order the deaths of people that are dissident and not falling in line with the Antichrist program. And so that’s what I believe that abomination is that Daniel talks about. In Matthew 24 15 Christ spoke about it. He says when you see that the Daniel spoke about placed in the temple, which will be the third temple, then he says run for your lives because the Antichrist will be coming after christians to kill them we’re not going to go to national tendency and we have jimmy on the line jimmy welcome to bible uh…

he did not thank you uh… dr hank you can probably uh… help me so i’ll remember about here the uh… other day me and some friends we were just uh… uh… talking and they got on the subject of uh… you know psychics and uh… past lives and all that and i told them that it was just a month of bony is that right it did it do you psychics and all that do you think that uh… there’s not a uh…

and they would tell me that they are probably all of them genuine psychics out there do you believe that i don’t well the whole area is an area for bin and it’s a really satan’s realm and certainly there are no past lives it says in hebers nine twenty seven i know that you have to point on the men wants to die and then the judgment so you don’t come back in another life-worm and and and continue to reincarnation is not true you only die once according to hebers nine twenty seven and you’re going to stand before the lord But also, they can’t really predict long-term.

They do short-term predictions, and sometimes I think Satan manipulates to see that that takes place. But definitely, you want to stay away from that. The Bible says that Isaiah 47, 13, that we’re not to deal with astrologers and the monthly prognosticators. That’s the horoscopes and palm readers and all those people who are trying to give you messages. and and it’s kept into Christianity today in many churches where they claim they have prophets and they come up and they’ll try to tell you something short term about your future and that that is really witchcraft and and Satanism and his best coming into the church and and proclaiming this is from God this is really a false movement that’s creeping into our churches today and it should be thrown out really Yeah, that’s what I was telling them.

I said, you know, I was always trying to, you know, lead them to Bible verses. And I told them nobody can predict our future except for God. No person can tell you what’s going to happen to you. They can’t tell you if you want to be a millionaire or anything like that. The future belongs to God. And I was telling them that you should know just. Amen. Thank you, Jimmy. And actually, I can tell the future from God’s word that if you die without Christ, that you will go to hell.

And I can tell you on the authority of God’s word that if you trust Jesus as your Savior, you will go to heaven. So we can know some things and we can know about our own future that God has outlined in the future for eternity for us who are believers. I know I’m going to live in the new heavens and the new earth. In the new heaven. In the New Jerusalem and I’m going to live with Jesus forever. I’m going to have a brand new body that will be perfect and sinless forever and ever and so on and so on.

There’s a lot of things that we can know in that way but this is a different kind of prophecy where they tell you something shorthand about maybe you’ll come into some money or death will occur in your family or something else and it’s pretty general and it could have happened and anybody and when they hit it on the money, then people begin to say, oh look at that, they could tell my future and you don’t want to get into that.

We have Mary in Bartle, Florida calling in and Mary, welcome to Bibleline you’re on there. Well I thank you. I just wanted to ask you a question about the Catholics say that Mary is co-redeemer with Jesus. Yes, we as Gentiles, trying to work our way to heaven, doesn’t that make us Poe Redeemer with Jesus also? Well, yeah, if we try to work our way, but obviously we never can become a Redeemer. Right. The Bible says no man can redeem his own soul.

Psalm 49 says it’s impossible. And so that’s why there’s only one Redeemer and that Redeemer is Jesus. Mary didn’t help Jesus pay for our sins. Jesus alone paid for our sins. I love Hebrews 1 3 where it says that Jesus by himself purged our sins. And then he sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. So Hebrews 1 3 makes it very clear that Jesus didn’t need anybody’s help. He was God and he fully paid our sin debt by himself at the cross and he alone is the Savior.

So we need to be careful that we don’t try to put ourselves in the equation or put Mary in the equation or put anybody else in the equation. Jesus said, I mean the Catholics are saying that she’s Colerine Dimmer and also, so people oh they don’t believe that but they believe that you have to work, do certain things to get to have so that would make us like a Colerine Dimmer also. You’re right, it’s equally wrong, absolutely. Absolutely it’s wrong.

Yes, I have a question concerning something you said a little while ago. You said that the curse is translated as pala. Well, the word aala is translated as curse. So the curse is aala. If you look up to the Hebrew word, A-L-A-H is the word translated curse in Daniel 9-11. All right. Can you tell me where that’s located?

I looked at the one I found in Daniel and it’s a different form of it. I think it’s probably coincidence. Obviously, Olive didn’t really come along until six centuries after Christ. This is very pre, but it’s an interesting coincidence anyway. Certainly today, as we look out at the world, the curse that has really come on this world is Islam because they want to blow us up and kill us. want to totally subjugate everybody in the world under the Islamic law.
