We’ll try to answer all of these as many as we can. Today, we’ll see what we can do. Also, we want you to know we’re leaving for Israel. We need you to sign up. We want you on board. What a wonderful experience it is. This will be trip number 15.

We’re going to fly with the safest airlines in the world. the Israeli Airlines will go from New York, New Jersey nonstop right to Tel Aviv. Our group will be limited to about 30 or 35 people. We’ll be a very close knit group. We’ll get a chance to fellowship, to enjoy the treasures of Israel, to see the history unfold before our very eyes. We’ll open the scriptures. We’ll be taking pictures. We’ll be baptizing in the Jordan. We’ll have an Lord’s Supper at the tomb in the garden where Christ was buried and we’ll try to do that early where the birds will be chirping and the sun will be coming up and it’ll be a beautiful occasion.

Lots of things will be doing including going to the top of the Mount Transfiguration where Christ was transformed and he was seen as he will be in his second coming. We can’t wait. I hope you’re going to be going with me and we have more and more people signing up but we want to make sure those seats are secured and that means we’d like to get at least your deposit right now. You can always and take care of everything else later.

If you go to my website, BibleLineMinistries.org, click on the home page onto Bibleline News. There you’ll be able to see all the information, including the full full page brochure, the two page itinerary. You’ll get to see everything that the trip is all about. And any other questions call me and I’ll be glad to talk to you about it. but we need to have you call QR travel, the numbers right there on the internet, on Bibleline news on the homepage, click on that, and make your reservation by credit card over the phone, give them at least $300 and we’re underway.

And then we’ll help you with everything else. Then start getting your passport and thinking about what you’re gonna pack and we’ll talk to you about what to pack and what not to pack and how to do this thing and have a great time. Well, it’s Wednesday, Tuesday today, and we’re glad to be with you. And if you have a question, you can call in and be on the air live with us, or you can call and leave that off air.

And also, you can. We have some special, we still have a couple left, not much, but we have the Zonnavin pictorial Bible Encyclopedia, not dictionary, in psychopedia. Five volumes, 18 pounds of books, wonderful gift for somebody, especially the price is right, retails for 200. We have this as a Christmas special for Bibleline, for a gift of 110 to Bibleline. gift of 110 to Bible and we also have another Christmas special that is Lewis Bear Shapers systematic theology originally eight by him this has now been bound in four you still get all eight volumes in four but it’s again a very nice set of information there by Lewis Bear Shaper the founder of Nell’s theological seminary written about a hundred years ago and this retails for about 180, we have it for a Christmas special of $110 to buy blind and we’ll ship that out to you.

Plus we have the Scofield Bibles. Lots of varieties, soft cover, bonded leather, real leather, different sizes of print and so on. Call us, you usually can’t find the old Scofield. We have to work at it, I’ll tell you, because the publisher has been promoting the new, the bookstores don’t even carry the old anymore and so you’re going to get an inferior Scofield if you’re going out to look one for Christmas. It’s not too late to get it in time for Christmas if you call today.

I’d recommend you do that. And by the way, by blinders listeners support it. And if you could help us at Christmas, that would be great to clear out this year’s bills and be on our feet for January. Your gift would be really a blessing from God. And so as you think about giving over the Christmas holidays, would you consider by And you can call and give one right over the phone by credit card. You can also give it by mail if you will call and would like us to send you a number with our address.

You can do that and mail it. You can also give on the internet. Go to our website and if you go to the Alumni Bookstore there’s a place there where you can give in amounts as small as $1. Usually you say I want to give $1.25 or $1.50 or $1.500 whatever you want to do and then you can give the amount that you want to give. God bless you in advance. Thank you for praying for and giving to ByBlind.

We hear such wonderful things from our listeners. I just got a nice note from a gentleman and he says, through you I’ve gotten saved listening to ByBlind. Another lady yesterday said, Bibleline has transformed my life. It’s totally different now that I’ve been listening to Bibleline. A radio manager tells me he stops everything he’s doing so that he can listen to Bibleline himself as a manager of a radio station. Isn’t that wonderful? And we hear those nice compliments and that gives us an incentive to do better, to do more, reach out with this wonderful message of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

You know there are four gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and some people say, why four? We know each of them give a different point of Christ and who He is. And certainly the Bible tells us with the mouth of two or three witnesses a thing is established, we find that God gives us four wonderful witnesses to Jesus Christ. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. And you know each of them are uniquely different. Matthew’s Gospel presents Christ as a king.

And things that are unique to the fact that Christ is king, and he will come as king over the earth during the thousand year reign, which is still going to happen. Unfortunately all those replacement theology people don’t believe in a future millennial kingdom. And some people are confused and say we’re in the kingdom right now I’ll never forget a few years ago as I was speaking at a Macmill Air Force base to a banquet There was probably around 11 chaplain sitting in this banquet I always like to throw it open for questions and answers which I did and at the end I found out that a number of the chaplains were disagreeing with me as far as prophecy was concerned and So I had decided I’d ask them a question.

I said, how many of you chaplains take the Bible to be literal? Only one raised his hand. It was only that one that was in agreement with me. If you don’t take the Bible literally, you’re never going to come out right. I’m afraid I’d have to tell them that. I said, you guys are not going to ever get it right until you take this Bible literally. So there are preachers, there are ministers who don’t believe the Bible to be literal, that take things as being metaphorical or something else, and they just sprinkle some pixie dust on the Bible and dismiss things that are quite clear.

You know, there is a real hell. There is a real heaven. There is only one way to go to heaven. That’s through Christ. Works play no part in it. You Most people will just go with whatever they got feeling is even though the Bible contradicts it and guess what? They’re wrong. W-R-O-N-G wrong. Is that too difficult to understand? You know, in Isaiah 8, 20, it says, if they speak not according to this word, that is the word of God, it is because there is no light in them.

Let me quote that again. Isaiah 8, 20, put it on your refrigerator. It’s a great verse. If they speak not according to this word, the word of God is because there is no light in them. I was so surprised and so naive, I guess, as a brand new believer to discover that preachers, many of which, are not even saved. Not even saved. Isn’t that amazing? And you would think that if anybody knew how to go to heaven, it would be a minister.

many of them have gone into ministry maybe seeking truth but they’ve earned it. I remember talking to a young man who had gone to seminary and they so destroyed his faith in seminary that he wants nothing to do with God at all today. I said to him, if he gave me a little bit of time, I can rescue you from this situation because you’ve been simply sitting under bad teaching and he was so destroyed that he didn’t want to hear anything.

That was so sad. He was a man with enthusiasm that was decided about the Lord and went to a school that destroyed his faith with the liberal physicians and theology that they taught at that school. That happens, I’m afraid, all too often. And And I remember as a brand new believer being frightened that, Lord, don’t let that happen to me. I don’t want to go back into what I came out of what I was delivered from when I understood the gospel and discovered that my church, I don’t think anybody was saved there, including the preacher.

And when I came back and told people I had eternal life, I knew I was going to heaven, they said, you can’t know that. You can’t know that. I said, well, I do. And how did I know? They would ask me. And I would say, well, God told me so. John 513. I encourage you to write this one down to another one that ought to go on your refrigerator. First John 513 says, these things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God that you may know, not hope not guess not perhaps not maybe, but that you may KNOW know that you have HIV present tense verb.

You can know you have eternal life. Most people have a false conception that you wait till after you die to find out whether you’re going to heaven or not. The Bible says you can know that you have eternal life right now. I understood that pretty clearly the night that I trusted Christ as my Savior. I was 18 and the Bible says you can know that you have eternal life. I got excited. I went back to the church I was raised in.

I began to tell them and they said you can’t know that. The next thing I know I was in a confrontation with the preacher and I told him, he said, what’s all this all about that you’re here to speak to me? And I said, I know I have eternal life. He said, you can’t know that. I said, well, I do. How do you know? Well, God said so. In the Bible, you can know that you have eternal life. I’m afraid I’m going to believe God.

I’m so glad I did. You know, what freedom it gives you to know that you’re saved and know that you’re going to have and know that that you have eternal life. And a believer, a true believer ought to be able to say that. A good question you can ask somebody is, where would you go if you were to die? If they say words like I hope, I guess, I think, perhaps I’m working at it, I would like to, you can probably assume they’re not saved.

Because if you don’t know you’re going, you’re probably not. And the Bible says you can know. Throughout the Bible, we have the great heroes of the Bible. David said, I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever, Psalm 23. What a favorite psalm. People love that psalm why. They would love to have the assurance that David had, and they loved the words of confidence that David speaks to their race as the Lord is my shepherd. He just spoke in chapter 22 of the Psalms of the good shepherd that would give his life for the sheep describing the crucifixion, even down to the fact that his hands and his feet would be pierced and they would gamble for his cloak at the bottom of the cross.

And then David says in Psalm 23 verse 1, The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. If you’re a true believer, you ought to be able to say those very words. The Lord is my shepherd. He gave his life for the sheep. I’ve trusted in him. I shall not want everything I need. Now, from now on into eternity is provided in Christ. And he says in the last verse in verse 6, And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Wow. I think a lot of people would love to have that to be true for themselves, but somehow they don’t. recognize that if they simply trust Christ they can say, is David, I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. This is Christmas, my friend, and this is the time to receive that gift. I was 18 years of age before I ever discovered the gift of Christmas. And the Bible says in Romans 623, the gift of God is eternal life.

And it says, through Jesus Christ, our Lord, the only way to receive it is to trust Christ. When you trust him, as the one who made the full payment for your sin by his deaf and shed blood, was buried in rose again from the dead, God saves you. And you become his child, and you can be sure of going to heaven. Merry Christmas. I’m Dr. Hank Vincent. This is Bibleline. Great to be with you today. Thanks for listening, wherever you might be hearing this, and we have people on the internet that are listening around the world, and that’s exciting.

And thank you for tuning in. We have a missionary right now in Japan. He’s turning a lot of missionaries there in Japan to turn to Bibleline to listen and they are. That’s exciting. We have missionaries in Korea listening and around the world. And if you have a missionary, would you tell them about Bibleline? And sometimes it’s like a breath of fresh air for them to hear the word of God proclaimed and we’re on 24-7 on the internet, which is really great.

Well we got our phones I think working today. They were going to find out we have cosmon in Miami Florida cosmon welcome the Bible. I’m just great to hear your voice Good Judas was never saved and the Bible is very clear that he was not if you read John 664 it says Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not and And who should betray him? He’s talking about Judas. You can read the whole context there. It’s very clear that Jesus knew that Judas was not a believer from the get-go and He knew that Judas would betray him Hope that helps God.

Okay, does that happen? All right. Thank you very much brother. All right. Thank you for calling in. That’s from Miami floor And we’re excited about being on the air in Miami on WMCU If you have friends in the Miami area, let them know, would you because we’re fresh brand new on the air down there and we’ve been on the air before, but now let them know that we are back on the air down in Miami. We have here, Diane in Tampa, Florida, and she says at what point is the Holy Spirit removed from the earth?

Tribulation or Armageddon? Well, the Holy Spirit will only be taken out of here as the indwelling Spirit that involves all the believers of this age. The Holy Spirit will still be present as He was during the Old Testament times, and evangelism obviously will take place through the ministry of the Holy Spirit. But as far as indwelling with people, He will not, He will indwell only certain ones as in In the Old Testament times the Holy Spirit would come upon a prophet and others to empower them for service, but then could leave.

Saul, for example, had the Holy Spirit and actually was considered as one of the prophets for a while, and then Saul, because of sin and his life, the Holy Spirit left him, but it didn’t mean he lost his salvation. Saul was still saved. We’ll see Saul in heaven, but Saul, King Saul, had the Holy Spirit and at one time prophesied and spoke as one of the Old Testament prophets, although he wasn’t a prophet. He was considered as one because the Holy Spirit was not even spoke through him.

So the answer is when the Holy Spirit goes we go as he involves each of us in the church age permanently and out we go and we will be with the Lord, the tribulation period will be underway. But the Holy Spirit will still be present and working here on the earth during that time. Thank you for that question, Diana. I hope that helps. And obviously, it talks about that in 2nd Thessalonians chapter 2. You’ll read there about 4, 5, and 6.

It says, He that is now hindering sin in this world, that is the Holy Spirit in us, will be taken out. And when He goes, we will go. That’s the departure the Bible talks about, called the Rapture. All right. Again, Bible lines, 4 numbers, 1-800-576-3771. invited to call us as a I believe we have our phone lines working today, so that’s nice. Joe, in Pembroke Pines calls in, he says, during the millennium, who will clean up the mess? The world will be in after the severe seven-year tribulation.

Also, with the Lord’s Day only on Jerusalem, or will He physically appear over the whole world. Good question, and of course there will be a mess, and the Bible talks about people will be hired. And for seven years, they will be bearing the bodies of those killed at Armageddon. Can you imagine? Several billions of people destroyed at Armageddon and bodies will be buried for seven years. They’ll be a long task to get a ball in the ground. Also, other things will have to be cleaned up and apparently it will take many many years to do that.

The destruction of the nuclear war at Armageddon will be awful and and we’ll take a long time. Jesus, of course, will rule the earth from Jerusalem, but it doesn’t tell us whether he will wander around the earth and appear in different cities or places. So we just have to leave that open, we don’t know. We have now Sam in Lakeland, Florida, and Sam, welcome to Bibleline New York Year. Oh, I enjoy getting so surprised, going so fast. I had a coming hike making some money after it.

In the Son of the Son of the Mind and it says take two to have a make-up in nature. But it only takes one act of sin to come make it activated. And what I was saying was to take a woman and a husband that have a bad child in a child’s center. So when you234 get saved and only take one, which is Jesus, it don’t take the sin nature that’s just because Jesus don’t have a sin nature. So therefore you cannot allow your losing salvation to cause only take one and that’s the spirit to make your face to be born again Amen well, you know at the moment you trust the Lord does him you become saved and saved eternally We still have that sin nature with us though until we die physically So Christians still can and do commit sins in first on one eight

It says if we say we have no sin we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us But we, once we become saved, can never be lost. Our sins in their entirety, past, present, and future, are all paid for at the cross. That’s why God can deliver you and me the gift of eternal life. And that is received by us at the moment we believe, and we are saved forever. Well, we have some more offer questions here. We’re going to try to take some more of those.

And let’s see here. John and Venice Forn calls in with this offer a question John 3 8 says the wind bloat where it listed and Now here’s the sound thereof, but can’t not tell when to come with him where they’re going So is everyone that is born of the spirit. What is that talking about? Basically it’s saying you cannot see the new birth now Just two years ago we in my family we had a granddaughter born and we could see her We could hold her and we still love her and enjoy her and embrace her.

In fact, I gave her a big kiss this morning and you know That’s wonderful But the birth of the spirit is just as real and it happens at the moment of belief, but you can’t see it And I believe that’s what Christ is saying so he’s talking about there being born again and When the person puts her trust in Jesus Christ as Savior they are born of the spirit It’s real, it really happens, but it is something invisible to the physical eye and it’s very, very real.

So John, I hope that helps. That’s John down in South Florida. Well, Miami, it’s been good to be with you today. We are not on yet the full hour down in Miami, so we’re going to have to say goodbye to you. And I hope you’ll join us again tomorrow. But if you have internet, you can catch the full program. be telling friends about the program every day here in America and in Miami. And so, God bless you. We’re going to continue with our listing audience in other areas, but say goodbye to you in Miami.

All right. That was a good bite of Miami as they close that a little bit early down there on our show. We have here another all-fear question. Mike D’Amargo, he says, is there any scripture referencing all the police, the police priestly courses which were two weeks in length in consecutive weeks. Mike and Largo, the chapter that talks about the 24 courses, his first chronicles. Guess what chapter it is? Chapter 24. First Chronicles, Chapter 24. Read it for yourself and there it gives you some information about the 24 courses of the, uh, courses of the service of the priesthood.

In any case, I’m Dr. Hank Lindstrom. This is Bibleline. Again, I want to remind you that if you’re thinking about going to Israel, I hope you are. It’s not too late, but we really want to secure those seats on the plane. And I’ve reserved quite a number of seats, but we can’t, we can’t hold them for a minute. So that means we need you right away to tell us you’re going for sure and at least give your deposit. We can get you going.

All the information you need is on the website, go to BibleLineMinistries.org, click on the home page on Bibleline News and you can really look at the full four page brochure. You can look at the two page itinerary and you have all the numbers to call called QR travel and give them your credit card and give them a $300 deposit and we’ll have that seat secure on the plane and we’ll be ready to go. We’re excited about being with you every day at a willing again say Merry Christmas to all of you and thank you for being a part of our Bible and audience.

And if you could help us this Christmas and give a gift to Bible and that would really be wonderful and you would help us to come out of this year standing on our feet with no debt so would you do that and i’ll think in advance right now we’re going to break and we’ll come back into a second half hour by the line i want you to end in as we do that so i would be right back after the short break don’t go away i’ll be right back don’t go away by the line will be back in a moment give us a call it one eight hundred five seven six three seven seven one that’s one eight hundred five seven six thirty seven seventy one Alright, I’m Dr.

Englund, this wonderful to be with you. We thank God for all of you who listened to Bible and we love when we hear from you and when we don’t hear from you, we miss you. So give us a call. We hope wherever you might be listening right now, if you just call to say, hey, I’m listening, I’m enjoying, I don’t have a question, that’s just fine. And that is an encouragement to know that there are people hearing the program.

If we We don’t hear from an area at all. We might think that no one is listening there. That would be bad because when we analyze what we’re going to do with where Bible is going to go, we want to go where people are appreciating a program and are calling in and letting us know at least that they enjoy the program and if you can support us, that’s even better because it does cost to be on the air. Some people say, well, how much do you get paid to be on the air?

Well, I don’t get paid to be on the air. It costs us to be on the air. have to pay the stations and the other costs to be on radio. And so we are excited about doing that, but we want to be putting the program on stations where people appreciate it and let us know that they are enjoying the Bibleline program. In any case, if you’d like to give a gift to Bibleline over the holidays, this would be a great time to help us out.

You can do that by credit card over the phone. Just call that 800 number and our operators will be able to take you, I think you’ll get from you on the credit card. Also, you can ask for almost to be sent with our address and you can then mail the gift in and also you can give on the online bookstore on our website so I hope you’ll take advantage of that as well. If you have a question you’re welcome to call in and leave it off here or you can call and leave it on here or that is me.

You could get up on the air with us here on Bible and sure want you to go to Israel with me and I’m trying to make the point that we need to secure the seats on the plane that we’ve reserved and that means we’ve got to have you say yes and make your deposit and make your commitment to go. Then we are home free and we can take care of everything else as we move along here. But I’d sure love to have you with me.

We’ll have a great time. It will be a nice intimate group of no more than about 35 people and we’ll have a great time working at Israel from north to south to east to west and we’ll be baptizing in the Jordan will be taking a dip in the Dead Sea and lots of other exciting things including seeing the Hill of Calvary where Jesus died for you and for me. In any case we are about ready to rejoin stations that have been on break and do the second half hour of Bibleing and I hope that you’ll tune in for the next half hour.

If your station doesn’t carry it, then please go to the internet and catch the full hour program. But keep you ready right where it is. Don’t move. Don’t go anywhere. And here we go. We’re going to do the second half hour of Bibleing. Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr. Lindstrom a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lindstrom. Alright, we’re back when I break and this is Dr.

Lindstrom. This is Bibleline. Great to be with you. We’ve been experiencing some phone problems, but we hope that we can get them all resolved. Apparently, we… We are having some of you call our church line and you’re not going to get through all that now. So hopefully our phone carrier will get all these things straightened out for us. But at least you can call up on the air today. Our phone number here is 1-800-576-3771. That appears to be working.

And we’re excited about being with you. It’s Tuesday. Christmas is coming up just a week away. We want to wish you a Merry Christmas. We hope you have a wonderful, safe holiday. I hope you’re able to give away the gift of eternal life, which is the gift of what Christmas is all about. And that is easily distributed as you tell people the story of Jesus Christ, his death, his burial, his resurrection. When you trust Christ as your Savior, as the one who died and paid for your sin debt in full, your past, present and future sins, and he did that by his death in shed blood, it was buried in rose again from the dead.

When you trusted, he did that for you. God saves you. certainly is great news. And we invite you to call us and if you have a question we’ll try to answer it on the air or you can leave your question off air. That number is 1-800-576-3771. 1-800-576-3771. Our Israel trip is coming up February 25th. A Monday will leave. We’ll come back on March 7th. A Friday will miss one Sunday. We’ll be 12 full days in Israel. And you can get all the information you need by going to our website and go to on the home page, Bible and News, click on that, and you can pull down the full four page itinerary, I mean brochure, and the two page, the full itinerary of the trip every day what we’re doing, and I think you’ll get all the information you need.

Call the number there, QR Travel, and make your reservation there doing all the booking for me, and we’ll have a great time. I hope that you will sign up right away and be a part of this wonderful trip to Israel. Trip number 15 for me and we’ll be seeing Israel from one end to the other. If you’ve not been baptized, we’ll be able to do that in the Jordan River. We’ll be able to get you baptized right there. What an exciting adventure.

We have some people that are going to be baptized. They’ve already told me they’re holding off till we leave on this trip to get baptized in the Jordan. We’ll be staying in beautiful hotels and have wonderful meals and we’ll all hear hotels and meals and the airfare is all included in this price. So we hope you’ll take advantage of that and go with us. We definitely need you to do it right away though so that we can reserve that seat on the overseas flight.

We definitely don’t want to strap you on the wing of the plane. try to get you on this trip right up to the last minute if it’s possible. But we definitely want you to be able to sit with us and enjoy the trip as a group which means you’ve got to give us that deposit so we can reserve that seat in your name. Well, we have a number of all-fair questions. We’ll be taking those and we’ll also go to the live phone lines.

we have right now. Robert calling in and he’s calling in from Bradenton Florida and Robert welcome to Bibleline you are on the air and welcome to the Bible and program. Okay, you got to turn your radio down Robert. I think I hear in the background. Well Robert, you’re on the okay. Go ahead. I have a question referring to the last thing that was stated before we went to break about uh… unforeseen birth of the fact that we’ve accepted uh…

we accept christian your life your back i’d write that that’s pretty correct by the whole spirit and uh… you can’t see that no okay now that that that that’s what i’m in reference to your idea i hear a lot of these television evangelists saying come to us and get that time in the spirit right now these people are already staying, but they’re… No, that’s not possible. The baptism and the Holy Spirit takes place at the moment you believe. Every believer has the Holy Spirit if they’re saved.

But a lot of these people in these movements that you’re referred to aren’t even saved at all. And they’re getting terrible teaching, very wrong teaching. And these different groups oftentimes teach that the baptism and the Holy Spirit is a subsequent, experience to salvation, which is not true. It is one of four operations of the Holy Spirit that all take place at the moment of belief. Number one, you’re regenerated by the Holy Spirit, that’s the new birth. Number two, you’re involved with the Holy Spirit and number three, you’re baptized with the Holy Spirit and number four, you’re sealed, S-E-A-L-E-D with the Holy Spirit.

You become saved eternally from the moment you believe and all four of those are experience by every believer at the moment of belief. I think you’ve answered my question. Thank you very much, Dr. Tank, and I’ll be continuing to listen. Beautiful. Thank you, Robert, in Bradenton, Florida, and a lot of teaching out there is not correct. We have Harold in Tampa, Florida, and Harold welcome to the Bible and program. The morning starts always a pleasure. I’m sitting here reading 5, 1 John 5, 13.

I have 13 from the Jehovah Witness Bible. Let me read it directly. I write you these things that you may know that you have life everlasting. You put your faith in the name of the Son of God, but they are believing and I’ll hang up and listen. Alright, you know, I’ve found that so many times and I’ve, I don’t recommend the average person. Use the use the Joe’s Witness Bible to witness to the Joe’s Witness. But if you study it like Harold, you’re doing, you’re looking it up and you get these verses down that they haven’t tampered with because they’ve tampered with a lot of them and tried to twist them and eliminate doctrines that they don’t want to admit to.

But it’s right there and you can lead a Joe’s Witness to Christ by using the New World translation. But they don’t believe it. I never forget one experience in particular where a Joe’s witness wanted to engage me in a debate. We were not on the radio, but it was just one-on-one. His wife, I think, was standing by. He was willing to argue about heaven because they don’t believe that anybody goes to heaven at only 144,000, that everybody goes to the New Heavens and the New Earth.

I said, I can show it to you in the Bible, but I said, you won’t believe it. He said, yes he would. I said, no you won’t. And I said, yes I will. And I said, no you won’t. Well, I said, you know, I’m not even going to bother because you won’t believe if I show it to you. You’re going to say it means something else or it doesn’t mean that. And so finally he almost begged me then at that point to show him.

And I showed him a couple of verses and guess what? He says, it doesn’t mean that. I said, I told you before this discussion ever started that you weren’t going to believe it if I showed it to you. And that’s exactly what happens with Joe’s witnesses. And one got so mad at me, he cursed and swore at me. He just really, his wife says, honey, you shouldn’t be cursing. And he was cursing me. And a lot of profanity came out of his mouth.

He didn’t like what I had to say. But I didn’t do anything but show him what the scripture had to say. And he said, well, it doesn’t really mean that after he saw it. And couldn’t wiggle out of it. And Harold, you found a great one there. In the Joe’s Witness Bible, it does say in 1 John 5, 2013 that you can know that you have everlasting life and that’s Pretty plain. I think thank you for that call. We now have a runny in Tampa, Florida and runny.

Welcome to Bibleline you’re on there Yes, sir. Good morning. Hey, thank you. I wanted to wish you and your family a merry Christmas in case I don’t talk to you again from now until Christmas Thank you and same to you and your family Yes, sir. I just wanted to say that I don’t think there’s enough what I see on television preach about hell. There’s ice it is and money being generated but not enough else. I mean that’s because if you listen to a lot of them, again you know the Joel Othea, you don’t you don’t hear that from them.

And about two weeks ago I had read a message to and his wife was she called out to our daddy in heaven takes care of us. To me, when I hear something like that, that’s almost like blaspheming the name of Christ. We were told a lot of names for Christ, but daddy was not never one of them. It’s almost, I take it like almost a slap to the face. I just, I don’t know how. They can say things like that.

But I just wanted to give you my take. I don’t think there’s enough being preached about the consequences and that being sent to hell and not heaven. And these riches, you know, I just think there’s enough churches, a young, a young teenager, after just scared me to death when he preached about going to hell. I mean, it did. And I still remember that to this day. And you’ll get a lot of pastors like yourself that, you know, you know, you’re going to be in the right place.

I think are just straightforward right out of the Bible, you know, and I can follow again, you know, with everything you teach. So, but I just wanted to give you my opinion on those things and I have a… Thank you, and I’m merry Christmas to you. You know, it’s really wonderful to know what the Bible has to say, but hell is real. And sometimes there are ministries that don’t ever want to talk about anything negative, or the fact there is a hell, There obviously is and that’s the very reason why Christ came.

He came to deliver us from hell. Christ came for God so loved the world that God gave his only begotten son. Why? So that who so ever believed that the name would not perish, but they’d have everlasting life. The consequence of not believing in Christ is that you will experience eternal death or the second death, which is to be cast into the everlasting lake of fire. The very reason why Christ came, what Christmas is really all about, is God delivering us from hell to go to heaven through faith in Christ as Savior, and we receive the gift of eternal life at the moment we do that.

We have Mark in Tampa, and he has an offer of question, and Mark says, do babies born retarded automatically go to heaven since they don’t have the ability to choose any answers? Yes. children under the age of accountability. If they were to die, we would go to heaven. Certainly those that are born not capable of choosing mentally retarded would also go to heaven. We find in 2 Samuel 1223 that David lost a baby at seven days old and David said the baby would not return to him, but he would go to be with that baby.

Now we know that David went to heaven. We talked about that in the first half of the program. We know that David knew he would see that baby again in heaven and how wonderful that is to know that every aborted child, every child that dies in natural causes or dies in some accident or tragic fire or whatever would automatically go to heaven because they, before they reach the age of accountability and trust Christ, are under the blood and will go to heaven.

Thank you Mark for that question. I hope that brings comfort, but I wouldn’t remember that verse back in 2 Samuel 12, 23. Jack in Tampa, Florida says, who is Dr. Schofield and what does he stand for? Well, he was an attorney that got saved prior to his salvation. He had an alcohol problem, but the Lord delivered him and he got saved and he became a preacher and he obviously was a very bright fellow and the Lord used him in a wonderful way.

gathered together a great team of contributors and they are the ones who they gave the notes in the Schofield Bible and it’s an excellent Bible. That’s my favorite of all the reference Bibles out there and that’s what we have here at our Resource Center here at Bible and Headquarters. You can call them and get yourself one and you’ll do yourself a favor because it’ll help you really deal with the doctrines of the Bible and the doctrinally sound. We have Jeff in Chattanooga, Tennessee and he calls in, leaves us off her question, are Pentecostals going to heaven since they believe that they can lose their salvation?

My office listens to you every day, isn’t it? Wonderful one in Chattanooga, I think four times a day, 10 in the morning, 4 in the afternoon, 10 at night and 4 a.m. in the morning and So wonderful your office listens every day and Jeff for a guide that you called it with the question I don’t have the lives look of life But if you believe you can lose your salvation you probably don’t have it And here’s the reason why because if you believe you can lose it you’re telling me and I usually ask people that believe they can lose it to just just listen to me for just a minute as I I say, are you telling me that if you from this moment on until you die and live the Christmas life successfully and you die and go to heaven?

Is that right? Yes, that’s right. But if you don’t live the Christmas life successfully and you backslide sometime before you die, where would you go then? Only say you’d go to hell. And then I say, well then you’re telling me that you believe it works. And I say, no I don’t. And I say yes you do. And I say no I don’t. And I say you do because look you’re telling me that what you do between now and death determines your salvation.

And that makes you the Savior not Christ. And you’re trusting in your works that gets you to heaven. And you know sometimes it penetrates and they say oops I guess you’re right. And of course we are right. And if they are trusting in their works they will not be saved. So Jeff, absolutely I’m very concerned about those things. concerned about those who teach that they can lose their salvation because I really believe they are blinded and don’t realize that they are trusting in themselves for their salvation, that they are going to live the Christian life faithfully and successfully.

When you ask them, are you ever going to lose your salvation? They say, no, why? Well, I am never going to sin. I am never going to do this. I am never going to do that. Well, see, again, they are trusting in themselves as the means of their salvation and they’re saying that they’re not going to do that, but if they did do it, they would lose it and so that’s works. And so their faithfulness is what is getting them to heaven, not the death of Christ.

Jesus at the cross said it is finished. That means the total work of salvation was done at the cross and we simply receive Christ’s finished work at the uh… moment of salvation and we’re safe forever so again thank you jeff for calling in from chattin and good ten a save you want to dial us up the phone numbers one eight hundred five seven six three seven seven one one eight hundred five seven six three seven seven one and we’d love to talk to you we have uh…

talking here about a believer that it says if we and the writer of Hebrews is clearly a safe person, whoever the writer of Hebrews was and it says if we sin willfully, after that we have received the knowledge of the truth which is our salvation experience. And by the way, I think every Christian does. I think most sins are willful. I think you know what you’re doing. And so the Bible says, if you sin willfully after you receive the knowledge of the truth, then it says there remain no more sacrifice for sins.

What does it mean? No more means no additional sacrifice. In other words, that chapter is very clear to tell us in Hebrews chapter 10 that we’re saved by one sacrifice, the sacrifice of Christ. And we don’t need a second one, a third one, a fourth one, a fifth one, a sixth one. In other words, in Hebrews 10 and 10 it says, by the will of God, we are sanctified. That means made pure and holy through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

In other words, the one time death of Christ satisfied God’s justice such that when you believe on Christ and save you, you’re saved forever based on that one sacrifice. It’s 11. Read this one and whoa, think about it really. But it says here every priest offers oftentimes the same sacrifices and they cannot take away your sins. It’s impossible. Let me read that again. It says every priest, stand at Thales, ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices which can never, can never, can never take away sins.

There is no priest, no rabbi, no minister that can take away your sins. Christ can and he does it the moment you believe. Look at verse 12 now. This man, Jesus Christ, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God. So if you sin even willfully after you’re saved, you don’t need another sacrifice, you’re still saved forever. But then verse 27 talks about God judging the believer who lives in and Wolfel said that he will thank you.

He talks about here in verse 30, the Lord shall judge his people. Verse 31, it’s a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. God can spank you and he might take you home to heaven early, but he certainly is not going to cast you out or lose you. In fact, if you go to the very last verse of chapter 10, it’s a great verse that says we believers are none of them who draw back into into predition.

That means hell. We’re not of that group that goes to hell, but of them that believe to the saving of the Lord. Our souls are saved when we believe, and will never, even though we backslÍd or get away from the Lord, will never wind up in in perdition or hell. But we will be punished. God will punish those that sin willfully, but it tells us here rather that we should be serving and living for Christ because of the rewards that we’ll lose out on if we don’t.

Verse 35 says, can’t it not away you therefore your confidence which has great recompense of reward. And then it talks about if you are patient and continue to live in God’s will that God is going to reward you. And that’s really what it’s all talking about here. So you can sin willfully but you won’t be losing your salvation. You don’t need to go back and get another sacrifice. Christ paid for all of your sins to first go around. And now you simply need to be watching for the Lord that spank you if you’re a true believer and you’re going to live as you please hope that helps and then turn thank you for the call we’re now going to go over to uh…

dentists in riverview florida and then it’s welcome to buy one year business hello yes good morning good morning i’m calling about the gentleman who are called a little while ago and uh… thought everything he talked about he mentioned and i was called in the gospel if I’m not mistaken in the Hebrew. Is that correct? You’re absolutely right and that’s a moment of chapter eight and we have been born again and God is our Heavenly Father and we have an intimacy with Him that we can call Him our Daddy.

Right, correct. Thank you for the Scripture by the way. I just wanted to possibly the gentleman who did call him. I just came with a little peace and assurance of knowing that he is his Daddy. Well thank you for bringing that up Dennis and appreciate that. It’s true that God is our daddy. I think sometimes the way we say things can almost sound like a disrespect but we have to do that in the right way. But he is our daddy and one day we’re going to get a chance to sit in his lap I believe on his throne as he runs the universe.

What a privilege that is. He says, come on up here and sit down with me. It says in Revelation chapter three about the privilege of believers one day to come up and be invited to sit on his throne as he governs the universe. Can you imagine the most powerful being in the universe inviting you to come up as his child and sit in his lamp as he runs this entire universe? Quite an awesome thing. we would probably be in awe just to go visit the Oval Office as the President might invite us in for a conference and that would be pretty special I guess but can you imagine the God of the Universe doing that and inviting us to come and sit upon his throne I think it’s incredible.

Hope everybody is listening as trusted Jesus as their Savior. If you haven’t, you need to do that. Just whisper prayer between you and the living God and just tell it. Lord, I’m a sinner.
