We are excited about going to Israel again. We just came back and we’re talking about now maybe going to Israel, dividing the trip up into a 10-day Israel trip with a five-day extension where we would go to Egypt and visit the pyramids, probably go inside the Great Pyramid, or about a dozen pyramids, We’ll see the main three ones and probably drive by the others and we’ll see the sinks and we’ll probably have a dinner cruise on the Nile

River. We’ll stay at a five star deluxe hotel right in the middle of the Nile River in the heart of Cairo. We’ll see the Cairo Museum which has over a hundred thousand artifacts. We’ll drive from Egypt underneath the Suez Canal to a new tunnel they have under the Suez and drive all the way to Elot. Elot is of course a beautiful city on the Red Sea that’s in Israeli city and there will enjoy the beauty of that city where people come to scuba dive and they come to jet ski and water ski and swim and it’s just a fantastic place.

We’ll then go over to Jordan to the Rock City of Petra coming back to Elot and then driving to Israel. those who are doing Israel only will have arrived and will meet and be together with the entire group for the rest of the tour. You might want to go if you do please give us your name and information and we’ll be going to keep you abreast of our plans as we’re developing them right now and nothing is set in concrete yet but it looks like it’s coming together.

And then we’ll have first and second Peter done. We already We have first Peter that’s available on CV or DVD and now we are doing second Peter. These are two incredible books. And obviously most people today don’t have a clue as to what Peter taught. And if you see what Peter taught, you’ll see so much of Christianity has departed away from the great advice the Apostle Peter had to give. book written under the inspiration of God and they are for our learning and for our growth and I hope you’ll get into this wonderful series with us.

Prior to this we finished the Gospel of John and I hope you’ll order that set. That’s a powerful set of about 20 hours worth of teaching. We’re going to be talking about the Bible for a few minutes and then we’re going to go and take a look at the we’d rather we’re going to go to the phone lines and take our cars today.

So if you would like to call in, you can call us at 1-800-576-3771. We have been talking about the peter for a little bit here. We talked about Revelation 12 for the past two days and how God speaks about a place that He has prepared for the Jewish people to flee from the Antichrist during the tribulation and we believe that city is the Rock City of Petra in Southern Jordan. What’s interesting is that there’s a whole chapter in Isaiah that details exactly what will happen.

I’m going to turn there. It’s Isaiah chapter 16. If you have your Bible, you can take a look at it. But it says here in Isaiah 16 in verse 1, Sanji the Lamb to the ruler of the land from Silla. And by the way, Silla there is Petra. Petra is the name of this rock city. They’re in southern Jordan, 40 square miles of buildings carved right out of the rock. It’s called the beautiful red rose city of Petra because of the beautiful colors of the rocks.

It’s accessible only by narrow canyon that when you go through you can look up above you and two to three hundred feet above you. You’ll see the ribbon of blue, the sun, rather than the sky. As you see the walls of the canyon going up two to three hundred feet, it’s quite a spooky kind of view. And then it breaks open into a city with all kinds of buildings carved right out of the rock. I believe in Isaiah 16 verse 1 is talking about Jesus, the Lamb, who will be sent to Petra to gather the believers out of Petra, the Jewish people that will flee from the head of the Antichrist during the tribulation period.

It says here in verse 2, for it shall be that as a wandering bird cast out of the nest so the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnhem. Make counsel, execute judgment, make thy shadow at the night in the midst of a new day. Hide the outcast, be ray not him that wanders. It’s talking here about like a bird cast out of the nest. Israel will be in the land. The Antichrist will come in and invade Israel, take over Israel midway through the tribulation period three and a half years after the rapture.

And then the Jewish believers reading instructions in the Bible will be like a bird cast out of the nest. They’ll flee, they’ll run. And it says here to Petra or Southern Jordan, hide the outcast. Hide them. Be right not him that wanders. So these Jews that will be wandering and fleeing will find their way down to Petra. And here God is commanding the land to swallow them up and hide them. Verse 4, God says, Let Mine Outcast dwell with the Moab.

Now Moab is that area of Southern Jordan and we find that the Jewish people will flee from Jerusalem and from Israel to the mountains over toward Jordan and will be hidden in the land of Moab which is modern day Jordan. Let Mine Outcast God says, which are the Jewish people fleeing from the Antichrist, dwell with The Moab be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler. The spoiler of course is Satan. He’s the Antichrist for the extortioner as is at an end and the spoiler sees it.

The oppressors are consumed out of the land. Here talks about how that at the end of the tribulation period Christ will come back and he will take care of business with Satan and the oppressors that are in the land. I believe all the Muslim peoples will be consumed of land by Christ as He comes back and destroys the Antichrist and will destroy the oppressors in the land. And then it says, and in mercy shall the throne be established. And it’s like more of the partner and that’s like the last thing, the same man.

He said that’s really brought him a little over here at the morning. But maybe he found that will bring orders right in his belly to his wrist on his foot. Also like the right side of his head. He saw that he said, that he said he was going to have the right experience. That he said that he she said on a good issue. He says, he says, he says, he said, he said, he said, Jesus comes back and defeats the Antichrist and consumes the unbelievers out of the entire middle east out of the land and around the world as well.

It says here send the lamb down to Petra and there the Jewish people will have been hidden and they will be protected and fed by God with manna from heaven again and also from water right out of the rock and Jesus will go down and then lead these Jewish people back to Jerusalem where he will establish in his mercy this kingdom that he’s promised Israel even though they’re not deserving of it he will establish that kingdom and he will rule from the tabernacle of David that’s the third temple that will be rebuilt right after the rapture that will be defiled by the Antichrist and there Jesus will rule and reign over the earth for a thousand years.

Revelation chapter 20 mentions six times a thousand years a thousand years, a thousand years, a thousand years, a thousand years, six times it says a thousand years in Revelation 20. It is a thousand year reign of Christ which is called the day of the Lord. It’s a thousand year day. What exciting passages are and there are many more. And we’re excited about on our next trip going to visit that Rock City of Petra, you’ll be thrilled as you enter through that narrow canyon and as you gaze at the miles and miles of buildings carved right out of the rock and they’re ready to go for Israel to enroll.

And as somebody once said, God has provided natural air conditioning in this desert region. The average temperature inside those caves are all about 70 degrees. What a wonderful nice air conditioned temperature and God will provide food and water and feed them there. It says in Revelation 12, he’ll feed them with manna again and with water right out of the rock. Exciting stuff and we believe we’re getting close and we hope that you’re a believer because if you haven’t trusted Christ, you cannot enter heaven.

Jesus is the only way to heaven. He says in John 14, 6, I am the way, the truth and the life and no man comeeth unto the Father but by me. The only way to enter heaven is is the trust Christ. If you are trusting in your works, if you are trusting in your church, if you are trusting in your baptism, if you are trusting in keeping the commandments, if you are trusting in living the Christian life, my friend, you are not going.

You have to trust Jesus as your only hope, as your only means of reaching heaven. He is the only way. He says, I am the way, the truth, the life, and no man cometh unto the Father but by me. I’m Dr. Hank Linser and this is Bibleline and we’re going to go to the phone lines. We hope that you will give us a call if you have a question. The number is 1-800-576-3771 and that phone number again is 1-800-576-3771 and we now have Levita and she’s in Lake Worth, Florida and Levita, welcome to Bibleline Viewer on the air.

Levita, are you there? Hello, Levita. I don’t hear Levita. Hello. Hello there. Can you hear me now? I do hear you now. Okay. I have two questions. One, someone gave me a John Mark MacArthur Bible commentary. Do you feel this is a good one? No, I do not. You do not. MacArthur is a five point Calvinist, then he adds works into salvation through the back door and says as the fifth point of Calvinism is the perseverance of the saints, it is really where they say unless you persevere, you won’t be saved.

So you have to do works till the end of your life. And his book, Hard to Believe, John MacArthur says in the last two weeks of your life, if If you abandon serving the award, you will not go to heaven. Oh my God. Yeah. Hi, I recommend the Jameson Fossett Brown commentary and also the Jay Vernon McGee 5-volume commentary. We have both here on our resource center and they’re wonderful. We have, in fact, a little bit. They’re at a very good price as well.

The Vernon McGee set, which is five volumes, usually retails for 200. We have it for a gift of a hundred. And the other one, the Jameson Fossett Brown which covers something on every verse of the Bible, easily retails for about 150, we have it for the gift of 100. Okay. And one of those were great. Go ahead. I’m very confused regarding the various nations that came from Abraham. What nations did Ishmael start and what nations did he both start and what about Jacob’s son are these the reasons for the ongoing war?

We have a wonderful book by Hal Lindsey that really details this for you. It’s called Everlasting Hatred for the gift of $20. He traces the lineage of Abraham through Isaac and through Ishmael. You find that the Arab peoples came forth from Ishmael and the Jewish people came forth through Isaac and then Jacob and his 12 sons. And so that’s really where everything branched off. He saw, of course, found the Edomites. And that’s, of course, in Jordan and that area of Edom and Moab and all of that will be the place where the Jewish people will flee to during the tribulation, as we were talking about earlier.

Okay, I find that very good. Well, you’re not doing well. You’re doing well. Thank you. Well, thank you. Thank you, Dr. A. Bye-bye. That was Levita in Lake Worth, Florida. If you’d like to call in, the phone number is 1-800-576-3771, 1-800-576-3771. Okay, we have Mike in Wesley Chapel, and he asked about the rebuilding of the Third Temple. Where will it be rebuilt? And what about other temples that are there now? Well, Mike, there are no other temples. There are two mosques on the Temple Mount site and the third temple will be rebuilt right where it used to stand north of the two mosques in an open area of the Temple courtyard.

Okay. Anyway, we will try to take some more of the offer questions and We thank you for tuning in today Okay, all right. We have Mike Cole in Flint, Michigan, and he says where So many Joe Jews go Where so where so the Jews go or I guess where do the Jews go that do not trust Christ as their Messiah? Well, they’re not going to go to heaven. So obviously everybody that dies without Christ will be eternally lost. They’ll be separated from God forever and ever and ever.

And obviously that’s not a good thing. Jewish people need to be saved. If you read Romans chapter 10, Paul says, by hearts desire and prayer to God for Israel, It is that they might be saved, and he tells us that they have to be saved by trusting Christ. The Jewish people make the same mistake as Gentiles do, and that is, it says in verse 3, that they go about establishing their own righteousness and have not submitted themselves under the righteousness of God.

You have to have God’s righteousness to be able in a heaven, and by your works you’ll never be able to obtain that. It says in verse 4, Romans 10 that the answer is Jesus Christ. When you trust Him, then you of course are credited with God’s righteousness and you’re able to interheaven based upon what Jesus Christ did for you at the cross. So I’ve led many Jewish people to Christ and they must trust Christ in order to be saved.

And so we need to pray for Jewish people and I believe we need to try to bring the message of the Messiah to them. I hope that you’ll share with Jewish people the wonderful Gospel of Christ. Alright, we’re now going to go to David in Tampa, Florida, and he leaves this offer question. Romans 12-1, does this refer to works for salvation and the answer is no. This is talking about Christian life, and you’ll notice it says there, this is your reasonable service.

So it’s only reasonable that we would yield our lives to serve Christ and become a living sacrifice for him. And David, we thank you for that question. I hope that this is answered it for you. Thank you, David. I was David in Tampa, Florida asking about Romans 12.1. Does this refer to works for salvation? And the answer is of course, this is talking about the Christian life. It’s addressed to brethren and to those who have experienced the mercy of God and being saved that they are urged to then to serve the Lord and we hope that they will.

Well thank you for that call and for that off-air question, David. I’m Dr. Anker, this is my wine and it’s wonderful to be with you today. again thank you for tuning in tonight is our television night and we’re going to be on uh… channel three six seven on world-harvest television that’s directly the channel three six seven reserve is uh… private uh… organization and most of those uh… hope that people who are not even in this country so uh… here we’re giving america away and giving them uh…

uh… absolute police powers uh… over our uh… our marketplace uh… amazing really appreciate your ministry well thank you mary and keep listening where uh… just watching things unfold at the bible said so many thousands of years ago and it’s kind of a thrilling moment to be living and of course uh… if you don’t know the law this would be frightening i think to see the things that are coming on the surface is a little twenty one that men’s heartful phalom for fear for looking after the things which are coming on the earth and why i’d tell you if i didn’t know the war i think i would really be very very uh…

destroyed at this point yes and i even even knowing it’s gonna have to end it’s still a depressing absolutely it’s really is because i love american i hate to see what’s happening in america happen and and we’ve really departed away from god and look at the results in the headlines everyday if you want to have problems in our schools with our youth and with crime it’s because we got rid of god in the bible and we’re paying a price for that Well thank you.

You’re welcome Marianne. God bless you. Keep listening up there in Spring Hill. I will. Alright. Now we have Gino in Tampa, Florida. Gino, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Okay. I have two questions about Moses. First question is his doctor, if you want to call him Mother, that’s called the River. This is his name at the end and one of going with him for the speech. Also, why did his brother and sisters get upset with him for marrying his wife as an advantage out of me?

I didn’t get upset with the marriage woman in the air that I ain’t upset. Okay. Okay. Well anyway, I don’t know that the Pharaohs, the princess there, who adopted Moses, ever got saved or not, and would like to think that she would have. But I don’t know the answer to that. And of course, we have a brother and a sister to Moses that was Miriam and also the brother that became the one who made the golden calf when Moses went up into the mountain.

Aaron was the brother of Moses and they had some disagreements there obviously and Aaron obviously aired in making that golden calf and I’m not too sure exactly why. Let me say goodbye to Miami. Miami is on the air with us every day and we are excited about that and we have Miami signing off a little before the other stations do so we would like to say Miami we appreciate you and we hope that you’ll continue to be prayerful and supportive of bylorn to help us keep on the air down there maybe get the full hour sometime in their future but we’re on the internet so you can catch that anytime you want day or night we are now going to go to a phone line in clear water we have oleesa I believe it is I’m not sure if I’m pronouncing that right But, Elisa, welcome to

Bibleline you’re on the air. What did you say? Elisa, how do I say? Yes, I’m on the air. Okay, all right, you’re on the air. Yes. What can I do for you? I want to know from you, is this is Dr. Wright? Yes, ma’am. I want to know why you go to church all the time and all the church they tell me that I’m supposed to go to a church where the priest is preaching out of the Bible. But when we go, we don’t hear that.

And all of them tell you different things. They don’t tell you the right things. That’s what I’m trying to say. when he prides and raised in the dead, all of them are going to tell you the same thing that he rolls on a Sunday morning. I don’t understand that. Well it tells me that the preachers are not studying their Bibles. And you know, I’ve talked to many who have graduated from seminary and they don’t really they’re not really taught the Bible when they go to seminary.

They’ve taught everything else, the tools, but never how to really interpret the Bible. So they really are in the dark. And in all these schools raise questions about the Bible and leave them in a state of almost unbelief. And it’s too bad. It’s a part of the end times where Satan’s masterpiece is not the drunken, the gutter. But it’s a preacher who can mislead people because he’s been misled by the school where he was trained. Right. Long time ago, right?

That’s correct. Long years ago, is this something that has been just gone from one generation and keeps It’s said hold on here. I’m gonna have to go to break right now and we’ll come right back to you I’m gonna have to say goodbye to the first half hour and we’re gonna do a second half hour here in just a minute So don’t go away stay tuned right here. I’ll be right back Don’t go away Bible. I’m will be back in a moment.

Give us a call at 1-800-576-3771 That’s 1-800-576-3771 Well, I’m Dr. Engle in 3 minutes. Wonderful to be able to be with you. It’s Tuesday. And we’re going to be starting our first class on 2nd Peter tonight. And that is 2nd Peter, 10 hours of teaching, 2 hours for Tuesday for 5 weeks. And of course, if you’re not able to be close enough to drive and sit in the classes, you’ll be able to order the CDs and DVDs of that class.

You can already get first Peter, which we did prior to our trip to Israel. We’d love to have you know that you can get those by calling and ordering and we’ll ship them right out to you. We have about 40 different books of the Bible and topics that we’ve covered that are 10 or 12 hours of teaching that you’ll find will be very helpful to you. We also want you to know that we’re going to plan to go to Israel again.

We just got back. This next trip will be trip number 16 for me. And it looks like we’ll break it up so that you can go to Israel only, if you like, or you can take an option prior to the Israel portion and go to Egypt with me and visit the Fairmen of the Cairo Museum and get the sale on the Nile River and see Cairo, which is quite remarkable. And we’ll then drive to Elot on the Red Sea, which will be beautiful.

And then we’ll go into Jordan and see the Rock City of Petra where the Jews, people, will hide and flee from the Antichrist during the tribulation period and be fed by God there miraculously for three and a half years with bread or manna and water as he once said before in the wilderness. And then we’ll go to a lot again and back on up into Israel and meet the group that will be flying in from the U.S. just to do the Israel portion.

You can call and get your name on the list here and we’ll keep you informed. We’d love to have you go and call us and give us your information and we’ll stay in touch with you. We’re going to be doing a second half of our Bible end in just a moment so don’t go away. If you haven’t helped Bibleline lately, we can use your help. We are listener supported and for us this is really, really the bottom line for us because because we don’t have any other means of support.

And we’re really just trying to get the gospel out. And the only way we can do it is to pay for these stations that we’re on and the other expenses that we have. But we don’t pay any salaries, so we are pretty lean and clean as far as how the money is spent. But your gift would be greatly appreciated. You can call and give a gift by credit card over the phone and or you can call and ask for an envelope to be sent.

And you can mail your gift to my blind, But we… Thank God for every one of you who pray for and give to Bibleline. I want to thank you in advance for your prayers and gifts that keep us on the air. God bless all of you. We’re going to be joining the stations that have been on break now and do the second half hour Bibleline. So keep your radio tuned right where it is. Would you like to call Bibleline and ask Dr.

Lynch from a question? You can. Just pick up your phone and dial 1-800-576-3771. That’s 1-800-576-3771. Now here again is Dr. Hank Lynch from… Alright, we’re back from that break and this is Bible and it’s wonderful to be with you. And we’re excited about being with you every day, Monday through Friday and tonight. This is April 1st. And it’s Tuesday and tonight we’re going to do second Peter right here at our Bible and headquarters. I’d love to have you in the classroom.

There is a $50 charge, but that’ll be a gift to Bibleline to keep us on the year. And it’s not very much if you think about it as $5 for class hour, but that’ll help out and we’ll do five weeks, two hours for Tuesday for the five Tuesdays in April and we’ll cover the book of second Peter. This is a book that Satan does what you know about. A book that Satan once ripped out of the libel and certainly one of the powerful books that a Christian really ought to be familiar with.

You’re going to want to learn from this book. And by the way, Peter is the author. Peter, Peter, that’s right. The fisherman Peter, Peter the apostle is the human author. Of course, God is the author’s scripture. We’re going to have a great time in this book for 10 hours, five weeks, two hours per night. We’ll actually probably start class about 7, 15 and run until about 9, 15. If you can get here about 7, that would be great. You can sign up and get set to go and bring your Bible and we’ll go at it for 10 weeks.

If money becomes a problem or would prevent you from coming, come anyway and just whisper in my ear and I’ll give you a scholarship. I don’t want anybody to not come into the class because of money, but we do want to try to help Bibleline through teaching the class. So you’re welcome to come out tonight at seven and join us for the classes for five weeks here in April, beginning tonight, April 1st at seven, probably about seven fifteen when we actually start class.

So if you could make it, we’d love to have you and I hope you will. We’re excited about going to Israel and we had a wonderful time and we had great food, great hotels, great touring, great weather, great everything. It just was a powerful trip. Life transforming for those that were on board with us. And we’re going to try to go again. And if you want to go, we’d like to have your input and we’d like to get your name and keep you abreast of what we’re deciding.

Nothing’s decided yet, but it looks like we might break it into a trip of all Israel with an option to go first before Israel to Egypt and Jordan. We would fly to Cairo, visit the pyramids, and stay in a beautiful five-star deluxe hotel right in the middle of the Nile River on an island. In the Downtown Cairo, we’ll get a chance to cruise on the Nile River. We get to visit the pyramids of the Cairo Museum, which has the treasures of King Tut and other wonderful treasures.

hundred thousand artifacts will never get to see them all in one tripPitt but uh… uh… will uh… then the motor on up to a lot on the red sea and enjoy that beautiful resort city will get to travel into petra in southern jordan and see the rock city where the jussell flee from the antichrist and then will uh… drive into israel meet the group that will be arriving from the states we’re going to do israel only so a lot of lot of choices there for you and uh…

will uh… make our mind up here will soon so we want to get your input get your name on the list as those that might be interested uh… give us a call we’re gonna go down to sera so fl SPORTS and talk to anthony who’s patiently waiting on the line uh… and he welcomed a bible on your own ear hey how you doing uh… I just had a, not so much a question. I’ve been listening for a while, you know, get interested in DRAGSamental.

So basically the guy, there was the guy on the cross with Jesus next to him. And because he just believed he was accepted into heaven. He said today you’ll be with me in paradise. That’s exactly right. so and i noticed that’s the basic Dr. and I was born again in 2004. I guess the definition I accepted it in my heart, but I know I just came out to me just saying, yes, Jesus is God. It was unmistakable at that time of my life.

I could see it clearly all of a sudden. Being around church and somebody invited me to church. I guess I couldn’t really understand the Bible until I believed it. I like to learn. Which is like I accepted it as truth. I learned more and more new things all the time. My question is I guess there was something in Philippians I was reading that Paul sort of was wanted to church to more or less you know it was almost a part of the though to say that your actions don’t matter and to do this elaborate on that because i i tend to find myself one people are obedient but also struggling with the more men to go over with the occult because i i keep telling them what’s not about work you know you you got accepted to get a report again and it’s not of this world and you know

I mean, you know, before I go on and on about it, I mean, maybe you could elaborate on why our actions and our response to grace is important. I don’t like to answer that. I’d be happy to do that, Anthony. Thank you. After we’re saved, obviously God wants us to be witnesses, he wants us to be lights. In fact, one of the verses that people bring up and misunderstand is it says in verse 12 of Philippians 2, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

It doesn’t say work for, but it says work out, which means that we are to display the salvation that we’ve received by faith. It says in verse 13 of chapter 2, for it is God which works in you, both the will and the do of his good pleasure. So we are to obviously display the salvation that we received and God holds in us and we are to let it be seen outwardly. It says here that we should do all things without murmuring and disputing.

Verse 15, that you may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke in the midst about crooked and perverse nation among whom, and here it is, among whom you shine as lights in the world. So we are to be lights, we are to be witnesses, we are to be sharing the truth as you are doing with cults and other people. And it says here the way we do that, the way we become a light is verse 16 holding forth the word of life.

That is the word of God. We share people with people the word of God which is the word of life. It brings life to people that are spiritually dead. When they understand the gospel message and trust Jesus as their Savior, they become saved and they become saved eternally. And so Anthony, yes, after we’re saved, it’s important that we live for Christ not to be saved, but because we are saved and how the battle bring about blessing and rewards that obviously will be reaching others with this wonderful message.

How can we keep our mouths shut when there are people going to hell who don’t know what we know about salvation through Christ? If they would only receive that message in Christ, they could be assured and know that they’re saved and know they’re going to heaven. Obviously it would affect their life and their families and the people that they will encounter throughout their whole life’s journey. Good question. And no doubt about it. I believe that every believer ought to be a light, ought to be a witness, ought to be a testimony.

And the way we behave in what we do is how we are able to display that message to the lost about us as we are lights in the dark world that we live in and we become a light by holding forth the word of life. The scriptures and let people know what the Bible had to say. Thank you for that call, Anthony, and we appreciate that. Keep listening down there in Sarasota, Florida. We’re now going to go to Matthew and Matthew is calling in from Spring Hill, Florida and Matthew. Welcome to Bibleline You’re On The Year. Good morning, Dr. Hank. I have a question God made to Israel. The Israel that he speaks of is it national in nature or ethnic or religious or what? Well it’s really the descendants of Abraham Isaac and Jacob. This seed of Israel that is still around to this day has been promised, earthly promises, and that Christ would come back and become their king and that they would have a…

well they would actually Thank you. Thank you. We’ll be right back. Thank you, everybody. Thank you. Thank you. have Christ ruling in Jerusalem over them as their king, over the Horde, as king of kings, and these promises have never been rescinded. What is interesting is that we have those who believe in replacement theology, that Israel got kicked off the horse and the church is mounted on the church on the horse now and is going to ride it all the way out to the end.

That’s not true. The church is going to be raptured out and then God will return to Israel and and his plan for them. And let me just read to you a passage in Jeremiah, whichever Thank you everybody I’ll take a look at this chair of my 31.35 and it says, you have read. And I’m going to read a passage in Jeremiah, whichever Thus say of the Lord which given the sun for a light by day and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for light by night which divided the sea when the waves there are roar, the Lord of Host is his name.

If those ordinances depart from before me say of the Lord, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me forever. In other words, as long as that sun comes up in the morning, you can know that God is not through at the seat of Israel and that God has plans to carry out His promises, which I think are already in the works here. The Jewish people are back in the state of Israel. Once the rapture happens, boom, things will change instantly and will be back on Jewish territory and God will use the Jewish people again as His witnesses as He did prior to the church age.

That’s why you have 144,000 Jewish men doing the witnessing during the tribulation period. The focus will be Israel and Jerusalem. It’s in the news right now. Obviously Israel is constantly in the news. I think this is only an anticipation of what God is going to do with Israel during the tribulation. Okay, so then after the rapture then, is that favor faith in God? They have to trust for more of the Savior obviously and a lot of Jews people are going to be slaughtered.

There will be another Holocaust. The Antichrist is going to come against the Jews that as we mentioned in the first part of the program that a large number will flee to southern Jordan and there be hidden for the last three and a half years of the tribulation. But according to Bible prophecy two-thirds of the Jews in the state of Israel are going be slaughtered and nine-tenths of the Jews around the world will be slaughtered, but the believing Jews who read the instructions as to what to do will flee and find safety in Petra in southern Jordan.

So God will preserve them that they’re going to go through a very rough time as he purifies them and gets them ready for their king to come back and rule over them. But the believing Jews will survive. Okay, so that’d be them? Yeah, exactly. Okay, and also I have one last question. At the at the rapture when the dead who are on Christ, that point of debt who are in Christ shall rise first. Yes. Yes. does that mean that uh…

does that win all the church believers get their body their resurrection body that is exactly right okay do the same no testament things get their body that i don’t know do they already have no they don’t get there’s a total of second coming or seven years later so i’m gonna get my resurrection body seven years ahead of no a daniel abraham and all those guys okay and then at the time after the trivial after the rapture is a tribulation and then at the end of the tribulation is that that the second coming in is that the beginning of the battle of my armageddon.

That’s when armageddon happens and then Christ goes back and enters into the war and defeats the nations of this world and takes over the planet. Okay. Very great. All right, Matthew, take care now. That was Matthew in Spring Hill when I have Bob in Newport, Richie. Bob, welcome to Bibleline you’re on the air. Yes, good morning, Hank. I just wanted to ask you a question about three months ago on your show that you were talking about the, you know, some of the oracles of the Roman Catholic or as you know, behind the phrase that the Catholic man is on scriptural.

Well because the Catholic Mass is the offering of Christ again to pay for sin. It’s obviously repeated sacrifice or incremental salvation from Mass to Mass. If you read the catechism which I have one with it a few feet of me, it says, what is the sacrifice of the Mass? The answer is the catechism. The Mass is the unbloodest sacrifice of Jesus Christ again to pay for sin. Then the next question is, is the Mass the same sacrifice as that of Calvary?

And the catechism says that the Mass is the same sacrifice as that of Calvary. So it’s the offering of Jesus Christ again to pay for sin. Now this is the last time the master offered. So they are crucifying Christ every time the master offered. Hundreds of thousands of times all over the world. All the time. And that is the blasphemy because Christ died once. If you read Hebrews, especially chapter 9 and 10 it says by one offering he hath perfected forever those that are sanctified and says by the will of God we are sanctified to the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

for all. And this verse 12 of Hebrews 10 says, this man after he got from one sacrifice for sins forever. So the one sacrifice that he made was sufficient to pay for everybody’s sins that were passed that is prior to the cross and for everybody who would ever live in the future thereafter. And when we trust him what happened at the cross we become saved. But to say we have to repeatedly go back and get our sins caught up every time the mass is offered on the one we attend is craziness that’s totally for the bible Do you have any like free information that you could send me like a newsletter or a paper about you know, the whole thing about the Catholic Church?

absolutely if you wouldn’t mind you could call back after the program and Yes. our staff will send you some literature okay i’ll do that thank you by hand hang cabin i think you too so uh… the mass is really uh… uh… basically if you’re catholic you go to confession then you’re assigned penance, you do penance, then you’re eligible to attend mass, and then you get your sins paid for up until that moment. And then you have to, then you wind up sitting obviously and you come back to the next mass and get paid up again.

I had one night he called me, she said, I’m in trouble. I said, why? She says, I’m four years behind in my sins. I said, how did that happen? She said, I haven’t attended mass in four years. So she was panicked because she got four years behind in her sin dead. And obviously, wrong teaching, I had to explain to her that the cross of Calvary, when Jesus died, He paid for all of your sins past, present and future. They’re all paid for it.

I love that Him. Jesus paid it all, all to Him I owe. Sin had left a crimson stain, but He washed it as wide as snow. So at the cross, Jesus Christ paid for every sin that you would ever commit past, present and future, and He paid for the sins of all mankind, everybody from Adam, until the last person who has ever born and lives on this planet will live and die and when you trust in his finished work at the cross you become saved and saved eternally.

That is obviously the good news of the gospel that who’s to ever believe or trust that in Christ should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3 16, what a great verse that one is. We’re going to go now to St. Petersburg and we have Charles on the line and Charles welcome to the Bible and you’re on the air. My question is about being able to see things and know things to know things before they happen is, for example, I have seen things that were going to happen and I’ve told people about them and they have been kind of upset since these things have come to pass and nothing that I have told people have not come to pass.

have not come to pass. Is that over, devil? I’ve been told by one minute for that. That’s not good. Well, it’s… Well, it really isn’t something the Bible tells us. We’re the secret desire. And the true gift of prophecy that the Bible talks about is not dealing with other people’s lives or their future. It’s dealing with the events that God has on his program eternally. And we have all of that in the Bible itself, and so we don’t need that.

This other practice is not really something. Now you may just be very discerning and maybe you can just read the handwriting on the wall. You know if somebody gets drunk and they get behind the wheel of the car you can say, I bet you’re going to have an accident. You might get killed or either you might kill somebody else and you’ll be absolutely right because you can kind of figure it out. But I wouldn’t look to find some gift here to be able to tell people’s lives.

really fortunate and that of course according to the Bible is not on God’s side of the learning curve here. That’s on the devil side where he mures us to want to have these special powers and have these special insights which really aren’t from God at all. So I’d be careful. But I think some people really have intuition or they can kind of sense things. I think women are more intuitive than men are, but be careful you don’t go over the line with that.

Okay, my next question was about fasting. I noticed in the Bible many times it’s about fasting. In fact, that was a man that needed healing and that a fighter couldn’t do it. And God was also tempted to say that this one comes by fasting. I do do a lot of, I have gone, not recently, a lot of fasting. I find very much stripped and power in fasting. Can you talk about fasting? that a little bit. Absolutely. Sure. Tasting really has to do with your mind being sharp when your tummy is empty.

So when you eat a big meal, what happens? I know Thanksgiving, I crash after eight, I think it’s giving me everybody in the whole room looks like they’re zoned out, they’re watching TV and they’re snoring or sleeping because the food will put you out. So basically God is saying that to be spiritually alert, to be spiritually unable to be able able to receive proof from God that oftentimes it’s better to not have had a full stomach. I learned that in college years ago, if I took an exam right after I ate a meal, I would do poorly.

If I ate several hours before, I took an exam. My mind would be much sharper. The same thing was when I studied. If I started studying right after I ate a big meal, my mind was dull and I was kind of I didn’t feel like studying, but you do better when your mind is sharp because you have an empty stomach. So it’s really about that. And I think the disciples ought to be focused and to be sharp, mentally, and in tune with the Lord he told them that they had to fast.

And there’s no special magic about it. It’s just the fact the way we were designed that when we put food in our stomach, all the blood rushes to digest that food and our brains are deprived of that during that time while our body is working on digesting the food. Hope that helps. Thank you much for your call. We have Julian now in Tampa, Florida and Julian, welcome to Bibleline You’re on the air. Hi, Dr. Thank you for taking my phone call.

I’m going to have kind of a difficult question here. I’ll try to make this very quick. Jesus was, when he was here in human form, did his actions and his teachings and methods, did it favor more of a free enterprise society or a socialist society? And I asked you that question because now with the elections coming up, a lot of voters are kind of undecided on what they want to vote for. And that’s when we ought to look to the Lord and see what his teachings and methods were and what type of politics that would favor.

And I’m going to go ahead and hang up so I can listen to your answer on that. Well, obviously the Bible says in John 8, you know, you’re some of the truth and the truth should set you free. And so I think that in America here, because of the belief of our forefathers, that we developed a very free society where you had the choice to choose your employment or your form of business and that the government wasn’t to really interfere, but they were to obviously provide peace and tranquility, which Romans chapter 13 talks about, the responsibility of government is obviously to provide law and order and peace and allow us to continue to pursue those things of life and happiness.

That’s what our forefather saw. So I think the country that we once were when we founded it is the kind of country that develops out of a free society where the Bible is the Word of God and that you know that was our first textbook and the people believed in those freedoms and people chose to Set their own destiny and obviously as believers we we have this kind of freedom and the truth sets us free So we’re not under some type of a socialistic society where we are just dominated by the government.

So I think today we’re going back now toward the other type of a government which ultimately is the push seems to be a one world government which Satan wants to have which is predicted in the Bible where the Antichrist will control everybody. You’re buying and you’re selling. Everything will be controlled by the Antichrist. That seems to be exactly the type of government that we’re headed toward now where we have the government controlling everything that you do and whatever you think and whatever you can say.

Look at how Christians are being muddled today while in many of the high schools the Islamic people can pray. They provide per carpets for them and happening in airports and things but you and I as a Christian aren’t allowed to pray if we were in high school today. We are shunned if we do and we’re put down and We obviously are more and more being gagged as to what we can say. That’s a shame. And obviously we’re going away from that.

So I think, well, we are in the last days and I’m glad I’m leaving at the rapture because after that your freedoms I think will all have been taken away from you. You’ll be under the control of the Antichrist and he’ll control everything you buy and everything you sell. Revelation 13, read it for yourself. It’s not going to be good. Anyway, this is Tuesday, tonight we’re going to start those classes in Second Peter. I’d love to have you come and be a part of the Second Peter class.

So if you’re in driving business, come on out and see us. Otherwise, you can order the series when we finish Second Peter and you’ll be able to get to see these or DVDs. Also, we want you to know we’re going to Israel again. Get your name in here so we can know you’re interested. and we want your input and we are right now planning the trip and we haven’t set it in concrete but we certainly want to listen to your input on that.

Also, the Bible and this list is supported. If you haven’t helped Bible and would you consider giving a gift to Bible and keeping us on the air? Well, I’m Dr. Englund. It’s been wonderful to be with you again today here on Bibleline. Again, this is April 1st and it’s Tuesday and tonight we’re going to be doing the classes on 2nd Peter. If you can’t be in the classroom, the next best thing is to get to see these. You’ll feel like you’re in the classroom because the quality is excellent and you’ll get to also if you want by the DVD so you can actually watch it and hear it wherever you might live or you can use them for a Bible study, a Sunday school class or a group study or a personal study.

However, you want to use them. But in any case, call us if you want to get first Peter. It’s already done. We did that before our trip to Israel. Now we’re going to begin tonight’s second Peter. And of course, if you’re in the area, we’d love to have you come and join us. Don’t forget we’re going to Israel. Get your name in here so we can know that you’re interested and we’ll help you with the planning of this trip.

And if you go, that’ll be great. It doesn’t obligate you to go. But let’s us know that you have an interest anyway, and we’ll try to keep you informed. Also, Bible and the listeners are supported. If you can help us this month of April, your gift would be really appreciated. We really are running tight and we can count. We hope we can count on you to help us through this time as we see the economy dipping and obviously that affects Christian works and our Bible and program is certainly effective too.

So help us out. Give us a call and give a gift by credit card over the phone or you can call an astronaut to be sent and mail that gift in. Also we want you to know we have a number of wonderful books in our Resource Center. If you haven’t gotten the Skillfield Bible yet, let me recommend that you get that. It’s powerful. A strong concordance would be a great addition to your library to allow you to look up the original Hebrew and Greek words and what they meant in the original and how they’re translated throughout the Bible.

200 human-rich scholars put this thing together and you’ll be able to use it because it’s very simply done by a number system and anybody can use it and benefit from the scholarship of these men. We’re going to have to run, but we’ll be back tomorrow. I hope you’ll join me on Bibleline Tomorrow. Have a great day. We’ll see you tomorrow.
